OPENING AT RINGSIDE
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter! We are LIVE with a special mid-week edition of HCW Live Wire, and tonight, everything changes!”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“World Title on the line, Mike! Jack ‘Timberfang’ Lumber defends against the pride of Mayberry, O.P. Cunningham—who is not here to be a feel-good story. He’s here to shock the world.”
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“We’ve also got the Nightstalkers in non-title action against La Famiglia Marconi, and if the Marconi boys pull it off, they get a Tag Team Title shot at Zero Hour!”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Plus, a big tag match—Selena Blackfang and Talia Nocturne looking to send a message to the Tinsel Twins before the Twins’ showdown with Mina and Korbi—and you KNOW the Dark Dominion doesn’t play nice.”
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“And don’t forget—Gardinia Blue promised more revelations about the Five Houses and the Dark Dominion’s roots. She’s here tonight with Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson, and Hercule Poirot.”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Yeah, and Count Vlad is in the building, Mike. That’s a volatile mix.”
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“But we’re kicking things off with a woman who has her sights locked not on a title, but on a contract—Ruby Howl is in the ring and she’s calling out Grizelda!”
SEGMENT 1 – RUBY HOWL CALLS OUT GRIZELDA
Ruby Howl is already in the ring, pacing like a caged wolf. A black, reinforced display case sits on the stage under a spotlight—inside, Grizelda’s infamous Hunter’s Contract is visible through the glass.
Ruby’s music fades.
Ruby Howl (mic in hand, staring up the ramp):
“GRIZELDA! You keep walking into my world, swinging that contract around like it’s a trophy. Like it’s your birthright. But that case… that contract… that’s just your shield.”
Crowd cheers.
Ruby Howl:
“So enough of the shadows. Enough of the ambushes. Enough of you clinging to that little piece of paper like it’s your soul. I don’t want your blood tonight, Grizelda.
I want your contract.”
“Bring it down here. Step into my ring. And put it on the line.”
The arena lights shudder—Grizelda’s eerie, occult-tinged music hits. She appears at the top of the ramp, cloak draped, smirk sharp, walking circles around the display case like a predator around a prize.
She signals for a mic.
Grizelda:
“Oh Ruby, dear… you really are precious when you try to sound brave.”
Crowd boos loudly.
Grizelda:
“This contract is not a belt. It is not a toy. It is not some shiny trinket for you to win on a random night in Columbia. This is my pact.
Signed in ink, sealed in fate… and drenched in the past you’re too naïve to understand.”
Ruby leans on the top rope, eyes locked on her.
Ruby Howl:
“So prove it. Put it on the line. You like to talk about the past? I’ll give you a future—you walking out of here empty-handed.”
Grizelda laughs—cold and dismissive.
Grizelda:
“No.
You don’t earn this with a challenge. You survive it. And from where I’m standing, you haven’t even survived me once yet.”
She taps the case.
“This contract doesn’t belong in your story, Ruby Howl. It belongs in mine. And I am not signing it over… just because the puppy learned how to bark.”
The crowd boos loudly; Ruby seethes.
Ruby rolls out of the ring and starts marching up the ramp. Security and officials rush out, forming a wall between Ruby and Grizelda. Grizelda doesn’t flinch—she simply steps backward behind the wall of security.
Grizelda (leaning over the case):
“Come closer and see what happens…
But this stays with me.”
Ruby points right at her.
Ruby Howl:
“This isn’t over, Grizelda. One way or another, your little security blanket is coming off. And when it does… you’re mine.”
Grizelda smiles and taps the case one last time before disappearing backstage, leaving the contract under guard.
Ruby glares at the case as the camera cuts back to commentary.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Ruby Howl wanted the contract on the line tonight, and Grizelda flat-out refused. She’s not giving up that leverage so easily.”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“She’s not dumb, Mike. That contract is power. And if Ruby ever gets her hands on it? Grizelda’s entire world changes.”
BACKSTAGE BUMPER
Graphic: “Still to Come Tonight: World Title Main Event – Jack ‘Timberfang’ Lumber vs O.P. Cunningham”
Then: “Up Next: Starla Nova in action!”
MATCH #1 – STARLA NOVA vs KIMBERLY KICCSASS
Tony Calibur (in-ring):
“Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall!”
Starla Nova’s upbeat, cosmic-themed music hits. She gets a strong reaction, slapping hands on the way to the ring.
Kimberly Kiccsass follows with a swaggering, sneering strut—full heel body language, jawing with front-row fans and mocking Starla’s pose.
Bell rings.
The bell rings and Starla launches into action immediately, using her speed to stay one step ahead. She ducks a wild swing from Kimberly, rebounds off the ropes, and snaps off a lightning-fast springboard armdrag that sends Kimberly tumbling.
Kimberly pops up in shock—just in time to eat a tilt-a-whirl headscissors that flings her across the ring. Starla pops to her feet, arms out, crowd roaring.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Starla Nova firing on all cylinders tonight, and you can feel this crowd lifting her up!”
Kimberly, furious, rolls to the outside, kicking the barricade. She screams at fans, slaps the ring apron, and demands the referee “make her stop flipping around like a circus act!”
Starla leans through the ropes—Kimberly grabs her by the ankles, yanking her down hard. Starla’s jaw smacks the apron, and Kimberly immediately capitalizes, grabbing a fistful of hair and slamming her face-first again.
Back in the ring, Kimberly takes control with a mean streak:
Stomps to the spine
A nasty running knee to the ribs
A camel clutch, wrenching Starla’s neck while staring into the hard camera
Breaks the hold at four…
Smirks at the ref like she’s doing him a favor
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Kimberly’s got the experience edge, Mike. She’s slowing this thing down to a pace she can control.”
Kimberly transitions into a grounded headlock, grinding Starla’s face into the mat, talking trash the whole time.
Kimberly Kiccsass:
“You are NOT on my level, sweetheart!”
Starla refuses to fade. The crowd claps her back into it. She rises, elbows free, hits the ropes—only for Kimberly to catch her with a back elbow that flips her inside out.
Cover:

Kickout.
Kimberly screams at the ref, slaps her hands together twice, insisting it was three.
She drags Starla up by the hair—but Starla counters with a jawbreaker! Kimberly staggers. Starla hits a running back elbow, then another, then hits the ropes—
Flying crossbody!
1… 2… NO!
Starla stays with it—running dropkick, sending Kimberly flying into the corner. Starla charges—
Kimberly moves! Starla crashes into the turnbuckles.
Kimberly rushes behind her, hits a reverse neckbreaker, covers—
1… 2… Starla kicks out again!
A frustrated Kimberly slams the mat.
She drags Starla to her feet, looking for a suplex—Starla flips out behind her, pushes her forward, catches her on the rebound—
Spinning heel kick!
Kimberly drops HARD.
The crowd is on their feet.
Starla crawls to the corner, breath heaving. She climbs to the second rope… then the top.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“She’s going high-risk—this could end it!”
Kimberly, dazed, stumbles toward the ref, bumping into him. He steadies himself, turning his back for just a moment.
Kimberly sees the opening. She darts to the ropes and yanks Starla down by the ankles, crotching her violently on the top turnbuckle. Starla cries out in pain.
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“That’s veteran instincts, Mike! Kimberly saw her moment and she took it!”
Kimberly climbs up onto the ropes next to Starla, hooks her—
HANGMAN’S NECKBREAKER OFF THE ROPES!
Starla bounces off the canvas like a ragdoll.
Kimberly floats over into a cover, casually draping her feet on the ropes for leverage where the ref can’t see.
1…
2…
3.
It’s over.
Tony Calibur:
“Here is your winner… KIMBERLY KICCSASS!”
The crowd boos viciously as Kimberly rises, brushing imaginary dust off her shoulders.
She leans over Starla, smirking wickedly.
Kimberly Kiccsass:
“I told you… I TOLD you.”
She flicks Starla’s hair dismissively and struts out of the ring.
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“That’s how a pro gets it done, Mike—by any means necessary.”
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“By cheating, you mean. Kimberly steals one here tonight, but Starla Nova showed so much heart—so much resilience—you know this story isn’t over.”
Starla sits up slowly, clutching her neck, disappointment all over her face—but the crowd gives her a loud, encouraging cheer.
She nods.
She hears them.
She leaves the ring and heads to the back.
BACKSTAGE – LARRY MORTON WITH HCW TV CHAMPION ABRAHAM VAN HELSING & the NPCW NORTHERN LIGHTS CHAMPION THE RICH ATHLETE
We cut backstage to Larry Morton standing beside the HCW Television Champion, Abraham Van Helsing, the TV Title resting firmly on his shoulder.
Larry Morton:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with your Television Champion, Abraham Van Helsing. Abraham, there’s a lot of buzz about who might step up and challenge you at Zero Hour.”
Van Helsing stands centered, calm, meticulous — the hunter surveying the battlefield.
Abraham Van Helsing:
“This championship is not a trophy for the undeserving, Larry. It is an examination. A proving ground. Each challenger faces not only me, but the weight and history of the Television Title.
Strength alone does not suffice. One must have discipline… and endurance.”
He shifts his gaze directly into the camera.
Abraham Van Helsing:
“If a challenger steps forward for Zero Hour, I welcome them. I have hunted far worse things than hubris.”
Slow, theatrical clapping echoes from off-screen.
In struts The Rich Athlete — hair perfect, gold jacket shimmering, Northern Lights Championship glinting around his waist. He spreads his arms as if soaking in imaginary fireworks.
The Rich Athlete:
“Now hold on just a minute, Larry Morton! Because the Nature Boy of the North has arrived! WOOOO!”
Larry winces but holds the mic steady.
Rich Athlete steps between camera and Van Helsing, turning sideways to show off the belt, his jacket, his everything.
The Rich Athlete:
“Entitlement? ENTITLEMENT? Abraham, baby, that’s a word folks use when they’re lookin’ at a man who doesn’t just walk the walk — he GLIDES the glide! WOO! I don’t do ‘entitlement,’ champ. I do DESTINY!”
He points at the Northern Lights Title on his waist.
The Rich Athlete:
“See this right here? This is what a REAL championship looks like on a REAL star. The lights hit it, the people scream for it, and the world knows…
‘That man? He’s worth every penny they paid to see him.’”
He circles Van Helsing slowly, deliberately, inspecting him up and down.
The Rich Athlete:
“And then we look at YOU… the gloomy ghoul of prime time… lurkin’ in the shadows, whisperin’ your spooky little bedtime stories…”
He steps back, spreading his arms wide.
The Rich Athlete:
“Meanwhile I’m out here STEALIN’ THE SHOW, WOOOO!!! Outlasting, outclassing, outshining EVERYBODY — coast to coast, border to border, and all points in between!”
Van Helsing doesn’t blink.
Abraham Van Helsing:
“And I am to assume you consider yourself next in line.”
The Rich Athlete (grinning ear to ear):
“Next in line? Oh no, no, no. I’m the whole LINE, hunter! While you’ve been out tracking monsters and muttering about discipline, I’ve been taking this beautiful Northern Lights Championship and making it worth MORE every single night I wear it!”
He gestures dramatically to his body, the belt, the jacket.
The Rich Athlete:
“A Van Helsing match may teach a lesson…
A Rich Athlete match?
It SELLS OUT THE BUILDING, BABY! WOOOO!”
He gets right up to Van Helsing’s face.
The Rich Athlete:
“At Zero Hour, this company needs the biggest star, the brightest light, the smoothest ride to carry that Television Title into the new year. And that, my spooky friend…
is ME.”
Van Helsing’s expression sharpens — steel behind the calm.
Abraham Van Helsing:
“Be careful choosing your prey. Some animals bite back harder than expected.”
The Rich Athlete:
“Oh I know all about bites, champ — I’ve left plenty of people TOOTHLESS in my climb to the top! WOO! You bring your stakes, your lore, your dusty little rituals… and I’ll bring something you cannot prepare for.”
He taps his own chest.
The Rich Athlete:
“The Superior Athlete. The Main Attraction. The Golden Ghost of the Great White North.
I’ll bring ME, baby!”
He throws a final “WOO!” into the microphone, spins on his heel, and struts off, jacket shimmering.
Van Helsing watches him go with the patience of a hunter tracking prey that thinks it’s already won.
Larry Morton (quietly, leaning back into frame):
“Well… uh… looks like the Television Champion won’t have to do any hunting at all. His next challenger—
or at least the loudest one—
just made himself known.”
Fade back to ringside.
BUMPER – COMING UP
Graphic: “NEXT: Nightstalkers vs La Famiglia Marconi – Non-Title. If Marconi win, they earn a shot at Zero Hour!”
MATCH #2 – NON-TITLE: The Nightstalkers vs La Famiglia Marconi
(If La Famiglia Marconi win, they get a Tag Title shot at Zero Hour)
Tony Calibur:
“The following contest is a non-title tag team match! If La Famiglia Marconi are victorious, they will earn a World Tag Team Championship opportunity at Zero Hour!”
Nightstalkers enter first—dark, menacing, a crimson haze in the arena. Then La Famiglia Marconi hit a big, proud, old-school babyface pop—Dominic and Rolf Marconi marching with purpose, gesturing to their waists for future belts.
Bell rings.
The bell rings and the fight begins like a collision between two very different eras of tag team wrestling. The Nightstalkers immediately assert their dominance — heavy clubbing blows, rapid tags, cutting the ring in half like a surgical team of executioners. They isolate Rolf early, crushing him in the corner with a pair of corner avalanches and a brutal tandem sidewalk slam/boot combo.
But the Marconis are no strangers to danger.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“La Famiglia Marconi holding their own against the Dark Dominion’s tag monsters tonight! This is the strongest I’ve seen them look in months!”
Rolf answers the abuse with stiff European uppercuts — one, two, three — sending shockwaves through the arena. He slips out of a gutwrench attempt and cracks a running forearm under the jaw. The crowd senses momentum shifting as he dives to make the tag—
Pulled away at the last second! Nightstalker #1 drags him back into enemy territory and hits a release German suplex that flips Rolf inside-out. Dominic paces on the apron, roaring for his brother to get up.
The Nightstalkers hit a combination powerslam/flying knee strike for a close two-count, but Rolf refuses to stay down.
Another isolation sequence—heavy boots, a twisting neck crank, and a backbreaker into a short-arm clothesline—but Rolf breaks free with a desperation dropkick that buys him just enough daylight to lunge across the ring—
TAG MADE!
Dominic explodes into the match like a one-man revolution.
He steamrolls Nightstalker #2 with a clothesline, knocks #1 off the apron, then hoists the legal man into a massive spinebuster that shakes the mat. The crowd comes alive as Dominic flexes and points to Rolf.
Rolf climbs in — the Marconi brothers hit a crisp, old-school double suplex, then follow with their signature legdrop/splash combo for a razor-close near fall.
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“If they get one more big swing in, Mike, we’re lookin’ at new number-one contenders!”
The match breaks down into chaos. All four men brawl in the ring until the ref restores order, but not before Dominic and Nightstalker #2 collide in a thunderous double clothesline that leaves everyone sprawled across the canvas.
The referee begins the count…
1… 2… 3…
Fans clap rhythmically…
4… 5…
Both sides crawl…
6… 7…
Dominic pulls himself up first — the Marconis are rolling again.
Dominic muscles the legal Nightstalker into a huge powerbomb, folding him in half. The crowd surges as Rolf climbs the ropes, looking for the match-ending top-rope elbow.
And just as he steadies himself—
The lights bleed into deep, sickening red.
A chill rolls through the building.
Count Vlad steps through the curtain, cape spread, his presence alone capable of turning triumph into terror.
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Oh come on! Of course! Of course Vlad can’t let this play out!”
Vlad stalks to the apron, barking cryptic commands, pointing at Rolf as if he were issuing a royal decree. The referee is immediately tied up with Vlad, shouting at him to get down.
Rolf hesitates — one eye on the ref, one eye on Vlad.
Dominic shouts from below: “JUMP!”
Rolf steels himself, commits —
HUGE TOP-ROPE ELBOW DROP!
He lands flush across the Nightstalker’s chest!
The arena erupts—
But the referee sees NONE of it, still jawing with Vlad.
Dominic rushes to pull the referee back into the match.
And that’s when Vlad strikes.
With cold precision, he steps halfway into the ring and BLASTS Dominic across the skull with his cane, dropping him like a stone. The ref spins around just in time to see Vlad standing over Dominic, weapon in hand, eyes glowing like an ancient king passing judgment.
The decision is instant.
DING DING DING!
Tony Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has disqualified the Nightstalkers! Therefore… your winners… LA FAMIGLIA MARCONI!”
The crowd ROARS, half in shock, half in celebration — the Marconis just won the match, just earned a Zero Hour title shot, even as both men lie battered in the ring.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“The Nightstalkers get disqualified, and that means La Famiglia Marconi have just earned themselves a World Tag Team Title shot at Zero Hour!”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And Vlad made absolutely sure the belts stayed where he wanted them tonight — around Dark Dominion waists. But he couldn’t stop the paperwork! The Marconis are going to Zero Hour with a golden ticket!”
Vlad stands over the fallen Marconis, a monarch surveying wounded challengers. The Nightstalkers regroup behind him, snarling.
Vlad lifts his cane toward the hard camera, his lips curling into a wicked smile.
Then, slowly, deliberately, he mouths the message:
“My house.
My rules.”
Officials flood the ring as the segment ends with the Marconis battered but victorious and a guaranteed title shot — and Vlad absolutely livid that fate didn’t bend to his will tonight.
BACKSTAGE – CANDACE HART WITH THE TINSEL TWINS
Backstage, Candace Hart stands with Sparkle and Twinkle, The Tinsel Twins, both in glittering gear, adjusting their wrist tape.
Candace Hart:
“I’m here with the Tinsel Twins, who are just moments away from stepping into the ring with not one, but two champions—Selena Blackfang, the Ladies World Champion, and Talia Nocturne, the Heritage Women’s Champion.”
Sparkle (grinning, a bit nervous but fired-up):
“Yeah, no pressure, right?”
Twinkle:
“Look, we know what we’re getting into. These aren’t just any tag partners—these are predators. But if we’re going to challenge Mina and Korbi, we don’t want warm-ups. We want the very best. We want to prove we belong in that top tier.”
Sparkle:
“If Selena and Talia think we’re just glitter and giggles… they’re about to get a very rude holiday surprise.”
Twinkle:
“Mina, Korbi… are you little vixens watching? Pay attention. Because whatever we survive tonight? We’re bringing all of it… to you.”
They bump fists.
Candace Hart:
“Back to you at ringside.”
MATCH #3 – TAG TEAM SHOWCASE (~30-minute epic feel)
Selena “Widow’s Fang” Blackfang & Talia Nocturne vs The Tinsel Twins (Sparkle & Twinkle)
Domination meets heart.
Selena and Talia enter with cold, regal menace—their titles gleaming, their body language screaming superiority. The Tinsel Twins dance and high-five fans, but their eyes are sharp; they know this is serious.
From the opening bell, Selena and Talia try to smother them—hard chops, precision knee strikes, choking Sparkle on the ropes while the ref counts. Talia isolates Sparkle early, working the neck and back, tagging in Selena for methodical, cruel offense.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Selena and Talia are sending a message tonight—not just to the Tinsel Twins, but to Mina and Korbi. THIS is the pace, the punishment you sign up for when you chase Dominion gold.”
The Twins refuse to die. Sparkle claws her way to a tag after nearly ten minutes of punishment—Twinkle storms in with flying forearms, running back elbows, a springboard crossbody on Talia, and a dropkick that actually sends Selena to the floor.
We get long stretches of back-and-forth: Twins leaning on speed, double-teams, and determination, while Selena/Talia keep dragging it back into their grinding, sadistic rhythm.
Mid-match, Selena nearly decapitates Twinkle with a superkick, followed by a Talia neckbreaker—close near-fall that the crowd absolutely buys as the end.
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“The Twins just keep kicking out, Mike! I don’t know if it’s guts or if they’re just too stubborn to stay down!”
Down the stretch, the match feels like it’s bumping up against that “TV time limit” vibe—everyone is exhausted, the pace slowing but the drama rising.
Final sequence:
Sparkle ducks a Selena lariat, shoving her into a miscommunication knee from Talia.
Twinkle hits a blind tag and slides behind Selena for a roll-up.
Talia swings at Twinkle and hits Selena again by mistake.
Sparkle springboards in with a sunset flip on Talia as Twinkle CRADLES SELENA at the same time.
The ref makes a chaotic dual count but rules Twinkle the legal one—1… 2… 3!
Tony Calibur:
“Here are your winners… The Tinsel Twins!”
The crowd explodes—stunned, wildly cheering.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“They did it! The Tinsel Twins just pinned the Ladies World Champion on national television!”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Selena’s gonna melt someone’s face off over that mistake, Mike!”
Selena and Talia are furious—Talia arguing with the ref, Selena staring a hole through the Twins as they retreat up the ramp, clutching each other, shocked but grinning.
The camera lingers on Selena’s expression—cold, murderous calculation.
Back at the desk, Mike and Johnny shift tone.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“The Tinsel Twins have just sent a message to Mina and Korbi, and I guarantee the Dark Dominion took notice. But speaking of the Dominion… we are moments away from something even bigger.”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Yeah, this is where the whole thing might get blown wide open. Gardinia Blue promised more revelations about Count Vlad and the Five Houses—tonight, she’s brought backup: Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson, and Hercule Poirot.”
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Let’s head to the ring—because the next chapter of this investigation is about to be written.”
HCW LIVE WIRE — SPECIAL SEGMENT (the attached PDF are the case notes)
In-ring, spotlight only.
The ring is dark except for a single white spotlight over a draped evidence table. A second spotlight hits the entrance ramp as the music fades and the crowd quiets into anticipation.
Tony Calibur (in ring, center):
“Ladies and gentlemen… the following presentation has been authorized, not by the HCW Executive Committee but by our next guests. Please welcome HCW’s Chief Investigator… Gardinia Blue.”
The crowd pops with intrigue.
Gardinia Blue steps onto the stage, a thick leather-bound dossier under one arm, her posture composed and commanding.
She enters the ring and stands at the table, facing the cameras.
Gardinia Blue:
“Good evening. Over the past several months, HCW has unknowingly stood on the edge of a conspiracy older than any one of us… older than this company… older than any country it has ever toured.”
(Crowd murmurs.)
“I told you weeks ago that I was not working alone.
Tonight… the investigation stands complete.”
She gestures toward the entrance.
ENTER SHERLOCK HOLMES & DR. WATSON
Holmes steps out first — precise, calculating, eyes sweeping over every detail. Watson follows beside him, notebook in hand, every bit the grounded, steady presence.
The crowd gives a surprised but respectful cheer as they enter the ring.
Holmes removes his coat, draping it over a corner post.
Watson stands beside Gardinia, offering a courteous nod.
ENTER HERCULE POIROT
With flourish and theatrical elegance, Poirot appears on the stage, adjusting his immaculate tie, twirling his mustache for effect.
A mixed reaction — admiration and curiosity.
He joins the others in the ring, completing the investigative quartet.
Sherlock Holmes:
“After months of analysis, cross-referencing folklore, genealogy, archival records, and certain… suppressed manuscripts… we uncovered the architectural foundation of Count Vlad’s empire.”
He opens the dossier.
The camera zooms tight.
“There are not simply origins.
There are Houses.”
He looks directly into the camera.
“The Five Houses of Dracula.”
The crowd gasps.
Dr. Watson:
“These Houses span centuries. Dynasties. Wars. Vanished villages. Hidden orders. Each one contributing to the modern structure of the Dark Dominion.”
Watson gestures to the dossier.
Holmes:
“House Drăculești — the Blood Crown.
A lineage of rulers, real or imagined. Obsessed with legacy. With thrones. With unseen rule.”
(Crowd boos at the implication.)
Watson:
“House Vrykolas — the Silent Choir.
Bodyguards, watchers, enforcers. The psychology of absolute obedience. The triad attacks we’ve seen in the Dominion? Their signature.”
Crowd murmurs again — this rings true.
Holmes:
“House Sanguinaris — the Crimson Scholars.
An order obsessed with records, genealogies, and prophecies. They cataloged power… and its carriers. Their scripts appear in many of the Dominion’s sigils.”
Watson:
“House Nosferatum — the Pale Conclave.
A sect of experimentation. Transformation. The beast within. Their rituals align disturbingly close with the origins of the Yeti… and of Feral.”
Crowd reacts heavily at that one.
Gardinia Blue:
“And finally…”
She closes the dossier.
“House Volkihar — the Forsaken Temple.”
“The house of betrayal.
The house of rebirth.
The house that teaches one simple truth:
To rise anew, one must first destroy their own.”
The arena gasps.
Poirot steps forward, hands clasped dramatically.
Hercule Poirot:
“Mes amis… do you see the brilliance?
Count Vlad has not built a faction.
Non. He has built… a mosaic.
A perfect arrangement of Houses — each filling a role.”
Poirot taps the dossier.
“Leadership from Drăculești.
Loyalists from Vrykolas.
Archivists from Sanguinaris.
Monstrosities from Nosferatum.
And somewhere… hidden in plain sight…”
He lowers his voice.
“A Volkihar. A traitor waiting to bloom.”
The crowd explodes — chanting “WHO? WHO? WHO?”
Gardinia motions for calm.
Gardinia Blue:
“We traced patterns… behaviors… rituals…
Enough to identify three potential modern heirs.”
She reveals three redacted silhouettes on a projection screen.
Subject A — “The Crowned Shadow.”
Subject B — “The Beast-Born.”
Subject C — “The Serpent’s Heir.”
“Their identities remain protected… until the investigation is complete.”
The crowd chants louder.
Poirot lifts another page — something sealed with centuries-old wax.
Hercule Poirot:
“And now… the discoveries that even the Count himself did not expect us to unearth.”
The crowd quiets instantly.
Holmes raises a brow — this is one of the two real surprise beats.
Hercule Poirot:
“The Velkan Correspondence.”
Gardinia unfolds the fragile parchment.
Gardinia Blue:
“Letters referencing three figures:
‘The Lost Daughter.’
‘The Crimson Pact.’
And…
‘The child born to the House of Rebirth.’”
The name Mina Harker triggers a roar from the crowd.
Poirot produces another page.
Hercule Poirot:
“And then… the Sanguinaris Ledger.”
Holmes interjects.
Sherlock Holmes:
“A bloodline record.
Entire passages violently scratched out.”
The camera zooms.
The crowd buzzes — this is new.
Holmes:
“And someone erased them to hide a truth even the Dominion fears.”
Bom.
Bom.
Bom.
The arena lights drop.
Purple and red pulse around the entrance.
A low rumble shakes the speakers.
ENTER COUNT VLAD DRAGOMIR
Cloaked, composed, regal, illuminated by a slow, stalking spotlight.
He walks to the ring with a faint smile, hands behind his back, as if this entire presentation were a delightful stage play performed for his amusement.
The crowd is electric.
Vlad steps into the ring, circling the investigators like a king inspecting entertainers brought before him.
He finally stops.
Looks at the dossier.
Smiles wider.
Count Vlad Dragomir:
“My friends…
You have worked so very hard.”
Crowd boos.
Vlad nods to them — graciously, almost proudly.
“You have uncovered everything I wished you to find.
The Houses… the sigils… the mythologies…
All doors I left conveniently unlocked.”
He taps the cover of the dossier.
“But this…”
He lifts the Velkan Correspondence.
“This should not exist.”
His amused façade fractures for just a moment.
Poirot smiles knowingly.
Holmes tilts his head.
Gardinia watches him like a hawk.
Vlad slowly lowers the page.
“And this…”
Holmes presents the Sanguinaris Ledger fragment.
Vlad’s jaw tightens.
Barely.
But clearly.
“A curiosity,” Vlad murmurs.
“One that was meant to burn.”
He composes himself instantly.
Count Vlad:
“You stand here, brave investigators, imagining you have exposed my great design.
But I assure you…”
He smiles.
Sharp.
Patient.
Predatory.
“You have revealed only the pieces I permitted you to assemble.”
He turns toward the redacted screen.
“As for the heir of Volkihar…”
A pause.
A glint in his eye.
“Sometimes… the knife plants itself.”
The crowd erupts.
Vlad steps back, cloak swirling.
Count Vlad Dragomir (final line):
“And now, detectives… I look forward to seeing which House bleeds first.”
The lights cut out.
When they return — Vlad is gone.
The investigators stand in the ring, dossier still open…
and the crowd buzzes with a mixture of shock, excitement, and dread.
The investigators get a solid pop from the crowd and then head to the back.
***Editor’s note: The names of the house are not entirely correct as information somehow had changed since Gardinia first acquired the information. More will be revealed in upcoming episodes over at North Pole Championship Wrestling.***
POST-GARDINIA REACTION
As the lights come back up after Vlad vanishes, we cut back to commentary.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“I—I don’t even know where to start, Johnny. The Five Houses. The suggestion that the Dark Dominion goes back centuries. And Vlad standing there, cool as you like, until they brought out the Velkan Correspondence and that Sanguinaris Ledger.”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Yeah, for a second, you could see it. Just a crack in the armor. Something they found that he didn’t want them to find. And now he’s wondering who opened doors he thought he locked.”
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“And remember, all of this is happening on a night where the World Title is still on the line. Jack Lumber vs O.P. Cunningham is coming up, and you have to believe Vlad’s eyes are on that too.”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“One House bleeds first, Mike. Question is… which one? And which champion?”
BACKSTAGE – O.P. CUNNINGHAM & JACK LUMBER PREP
Quick split-screen backstage:
O.P. Cunningham in his locker room, lacing his boots, the Mayberry patch on his jacket visible, eyes closed as he says a quiet prayer.
Jack “Timberfang” Lumber rolling his shoulders, World Title strapped around his waist, staring into a mirror—half his face in shadow.
A graphic overlays:
“UP NEXT – WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: JACK LUMBER (C) vs O.P. CUNNINGHAM”
Tony Calibur’s voice fills the arena, announcing the main event as the crowd rises to their feet. O.P. Cunningham steps through the curtain to a massive ovation, all smiles and adrenaline, pointing to the ring with the energy of a man who truly believes lightning can strike tonight. The hometown favorite from Mayberry soaks it in, pounding his chest and shouting to the fans that this is his shot.
Jack Lumber is backstage waiting to be introduced. Count Vlad approaches him.
Count Vlad:
“Jack, tonight, you represent the best of the Dark Dominion. You will not need me at ringside. You will dominate as you always do.”
Jack nods and then makes his way to the curtain.
Then the music shifts, darker and heavier. Jack “Timberfang” Lumber emerges with the HCW World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. The reaction is a mix of respect and unease — respect for the champion who has dominated every challenge thrown at him, and unease for the connection he now has to Count Vlad’s looming influence. Jack walks straight down the ramp with zero theatrics, his eyes locked on the ring, the belt reflecting the arena lights like a warning.
In-ring introductions are handled with big-fight weight by Tony Calibur. The bell rings.
Jack immediately tests O.P.’s strength with shoulder blocks that hit like battering rams. O.P. answers each one with fire, refusing to budge. When Jack tries to bully him into the corner, O.P. slips out and hits a quick drop toe hold that brings the champion down, followed by a running crossbody that shocks the building with an early near fall.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“ O.P. Cunningham is giving the champion a real challenge here — he came for the title, not a participation ribbon!”
Jack’s expression shifts. He clamps down with a tight side headlock, forcing O.P. to the mat and grinding forearms across the jaw. He transitions into a hammerlock, wrenches back, then hoists O.P. up and drives him down with a backbreaker that echoes across the arena. Keeping pressure on the ribs and spine, Jack squeezes with a crushing bearhug, trying to drain the fight out of his challenger.
But O.P. refuses to stay contained. Each time Jack tightens his grip, O.P. throws body shots, pries at the hands, or simply powers his way free by sheer stubborn will.
Jack tries to reassert control, but he mistimes a charge in the corner and O.P. bursts alive with momentum. He cracks Jack with a series of running lariats, each one landing harder than the last, forcing the champion onto the defensive for the first time. When O.P. scoops Jack up and plants him with a picture-perfect spinning powerslam, the near-fall sends the building into a frenzy.
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“ If Jack Lumber didn’t take him seriously before, he’d better now — O.P. Cunningham is wrestling the match of his LIFE!”
O.P. pulls Jack upright and spikes him with a DDT that leaves the champion dazed. The crowd senses the tide shifting and surges behind O.P. as he climbs to the second rope, aiming for a diving forearm that could finish the job.
But Jack rolls aside at the last split second, and as O.P. crashes to the canvas, Jack rises and obliterates him with a turning lariat that nearly flips O.P. inside out.
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“ GOOD NIGHT—he might’ve knocked Mayberry out of him!”
The champion drags O.P. to his feet, but O.P. suddenly counters with a small package that nearly steals the championship — an explosion of hope that has the crowd screaming as the ref’s hand hits 1… 2… and then barely stops before 3.
Jack sits back on his knees, shocked that O.P. was a heartbeat from dethroning him. His surprise turns to cold determination. He grabs O.P. by the wrist, pulls him to his feet, and quietly mouths “Stay down.”
O.P., exhausted and trembling, shakes his head no.
Jack answers with his full finishing sequence — the heavy slam, the brutal strike, the decisive driver — all delivered with championship precision. O.P. goes limp beneath him.
Jack hooks both legs.
1…
2…
3.
Tony Calibur’s voice declares Jack Lumber the still-reigning champion as Jack rises, chest heaving, the belt returned to his hands. He looks down at O.P. for a long moment, then gives a tight, respectful nod — a rare gesture acknowledging the fight O.P. brought.
Jack turns to the hard camera and raises the HCW World Heavyweight Championship high.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“ Jack ‘Timberfang’ Lumber survives one of the toughest challenges of his reign — but O.P. Cunningham has nothing to hang his head about. What a performance!”
Jack “Timberfang” Lumber stands tall in the center of the ring, the HCW World Heavyweight Championship raised high above his head. O.P. Cunningham rolls to the apron with the help of officials, clearly rocked but still conscious — and still proud. Jack watches him being helped out, jaw tight, breathing heavy, the subtle war between honor and Dominion influence flickering behind his eyes.
The crowd gives O.P. a standing ovation. Even Jack can’t help but turn and nod once more toward the resilient challenger before focusing back on the moment, lifting the title a second time.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“ What a match… what a fight. O.P. Cunningham proved he belonged in that ring with the world champion.”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“ And Jack Lumber once again shows why he holds the gold — but Mike, that took a LOT out of him. He is not standing as tall as usual after a title defense. He looks… vulnerable.”
Jack leans on the ropes for a moment, catching his breath.
And then—
The arena lights snap to red and blue.
A massive cheer rolls through the building.
Zack “Commando” Brown steps through the curtain.
No music.
No pyro.
No theatrics.
Just the man himself — walking with silent, deliberate purpose, eyes locked on the champion in the ring.
Jack straightens up immediately.
The crowd senses it.
The commentary senses it.
Jack senses it.
Zack walks out onto the stage in street gear, serious expression, carrying the World Title contract case. No theatrics, no playing to the fans—just a man on a mission.
He walks to the ring deliberately. The camera cuts between Jack’s wary gaze and Zack’s determined stare.
Zack steps into the ring. No attack. No cheap shot.
He signals for a microphone.
The music fades.
Zack “Commando” Brown:
“Jack… we’ve done this before. We’ve bled in the same wars, carried this company on our backs at different times. We both know what that title means. We both know what it’s like to feel it slipping away.”
He lifts the contract case.
Zack “Commando” Brown:
“I am done waiting. I am done watching the Dark Dominion circle that belt like vultures. So I’m making this very simple—for you… for them… and for every fan in this building.”
He clicks the case open and pulls out the contract.
Zack “Commando” Brown:
“I am officially cashing in my World Title shot.”
The crowd ROARS.
Zack steps closer—nose-to-nose with Jack now.
Zack “Commando” Brown:
“Not tonight.
Not by surprise.
Not from behind.”
He taps Jack’s title belt.
“At Zero Hour… it’s you and me. One more time. No excuses. No shadows. No Dominion. Just the man holding that belt…”
He taps Jack’s chest.
“…and the man who’s taking it.”
He holds the signed contract up high for the camera.
Jack raises his own mic.
Jack “Timberfang” Lumber:
“You want Zero Hour? You’ve got it.
But understand something, Zack—every House, every monster, every ghost that’s been hanging over this company? They’re all looking at this belt. And if you come for it… you’re stepping into the same storm I am.”
He raises the title between them, the plate pressed between their foreheads.
Jack “Timberfang” Lumber:
“You say you’re taking it?
You better be ready to tear down the whole Dominion to do it.”
They stare each other down, the crowd at a fever pitch.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“It’s official! Zack ‘Commando’ Brown is cashing in at Zero Hour! Jack Lumber vs Zack Brown for the World Heavyweight Championship—two franchise players on a collision course!”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And somewhere in the back, you know Count Vlad just heard about this. The Houses are shaking, Mike. The Dominion is watching. And at Zero Hour, the whole foundation might crack.”
Jack and Zack don’t move—face to face, belt and contract held high—as the show logo appears in the corner.
Mike “the Voice Johnson:
“For Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris, I’m Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson—this has been another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. We’ll see you at Zero Hour!”
Fade out on the staredown.
END OF SHOW
