HCW After Dark – 12/12 Special Preview Episode
[Fade in: Midnight blue lighting. The AFTER DARK logo pulses on a screen behind the desk. The atmosphere is quiet, tense, anticipatory — the feeling before a storm breaks. The hard cam settles on the hosts.]
OPENING
J.R. Holland (confident, calm, unmistakably composed):
“Hello wrestling fans, and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. I’m J.R. Holland, and tonight, we prepare for one of the most important weekends in Heritage Championship Wrestling history.”
She folds her hands gently.
“We are just days away from ZERO HOUR, a two-night event where titles, careers, reputations, and legacies will all be tested. And tonight on After Dark, we are going to break down every match, every rivalry, and — for the first time — we have pre-recorded comments from nearly every competitor on the card.”
Walter “Wally” Pressman (a little nervous, very excited):
“And folks… these promos aren’t polite. They aren’t friendly. They aren’t even normal. This is the closest thing we’ve had all year to an emotional earthquake. Everyone’s on edge. Everyone’s trying to make a point. Everyone’s fighting for something.”
J.R.:
“Exactly. Zero Hour is a crossroads. For some, it’s an opportunity. For others… a final reckoning. And before we look at Night One’s opening match, the Dark Dominion delivered what can only be described as an orchestration of intent.”
She turns toward the camera.
“Let’s begin with Dominion Promo Block #1 — featuring the champions, leaders, and enforcers who will shape Night One.”
DARK DOMINION PROMO BLOCK #1 — PRE-RECORDED STATEMENTS
[Visual: Count Vlad seated in his candlelit study, eyes gleaming with calculated amusement.]
Count Vlad:
“Heritage Championship Wrestling… your moment of clarity approaches. Zero Hour. A fitting name. For the clock strikes midnight upon illusions — illusions of hope, illusions of resistance, illusions that any warrior here stands above the Dominion.”
He smirks.
“Night One begins the incision. Night Two… opens the body. My family enters the battlefield with purpose. Fire, fang, shadow, wrath. Watch them. Fear them. For they are not merely my soldiers… they are inevitability.”
JACK “TIMBERFANG” LUMBER – WORLD CHAMPION
[Visual: Jack in a stone corridor, title gleaming behind him.]
Jack Lumber:
“Zack Brown wants to make a statement. He wants to show the world who he is. But there’s something he needs to understand — this isn’t a fight for validation. This is a fight for truth.”
He steps forward.
“I’m not the man he remembers. And I’m not the man anyone can push around. I carry the World Title because I choose to. And at Zero Hour, I prove that once again.”
SELENA “WIDOW’S FANG” BLACKFANG – LADIES WORLD CHAMPION
[Visual: Selena seated upon her throne.]
Selena Blackfang:
“Scarlett Howl… the wildfire that refuses to die. Admirable. Beautiful, even.”
Her fingers curl over the Ladies World Title.
“But wildfires burn out. They always do. And the night remains. At Zero Hour, you step into my kingdom — and you will understand why queens of the night do not fall.”
TALIA NOCTURNE – HERITAGE WOMEN’S CHAMPION
[Visual: Talia kneeling in a moonlit ritual circle.]
Talia Nocturne:
“Ruby Howl seeks acceptance. She seeks recognition. But titles are not granted to those who seek. They are drawn to those who are called.”
She lifts her eyes.
“And I have heard that call for longer than she has been awake.”
HELL’S FANG – THE MORNINGSTAR – HARDCORE CHAMPION
[Visual: Morningstar pacing, Hardcore title hanging from a chain.]
The Morningstar:
“Mr. X… you think pain is something you ‘deal with.’ You think suffering is a phase. No. Pain is the foundation of everything real.”
He laughs low.
“And at Zero Hour, you enter my altar. Let’s see how long you worship.”
THE NIGHTSTALKERS – WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS
[Visual: Bloodfang and Shadowfang in a torchlit crypt.]
Bloodfang:
“La Famiglia thinks blood makes them strong.”
Shadowfang:
“Blood only matters… when it spills.”
Bloodfang:
“At Zero Hour, they learn why the night hunts.”
THE FANGS OF DESPAIR – HERITAGE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS
[Visual: Dr. Red Fang and Nightfang in their surgical chamber.]
Nightfang:
“Samoan Bloodline. Two warriors. Two traditions. Admirable. Beautiful, even.
But tonight… we study what breaks a lineage.”
Dr. Red Fang:
“And…VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR YOU BOTH!”
BEASTFANG & AZRAEL
[Visual: Both men under moonlight, standing before stone archways.]
Beastfang:
“Mirror Saints… you want balance?”
Azrael:
“We bring endings.”
Beastfang:
“At Zero Hour… we break your reflection.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally Pressman (eyes wide):
“J.R… that was… a LOT. If I saw that airing on the Zero Hour pre-show, I think I’d hide under my seat.”
J.R. Holland (calm, unfazed):
“The Dominion speaks with unity, intention, and clarity. They see Zero Hour as their stage — and their chance to enforce their dominance across nearly every division. But their opponents? They’re not walking into this blind.”
She pivots smoothly.
“Let’s begin with the opening match of Night One:
Grizelda vs Veronica Flame.”
OPENING MATCH – Grizelda vs Veronica Flame
J.R.:
“This is a match fueled by pride, intimidation, and raw personality. Grizelda has momentum, mystique, and Dominion backing. Veronica Flame brings passion, fire — literally and figuratively — and the hunger to show she belongs on this grand stage.”
Wally:
“And we have BOTH of their pre-recorded messages tonight. These were intense. Let’s take a look.”
VERONICA FLAME — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Veronica Flame pacing a red-lit locker room.]
Veronica Flame:
“Grizelda… you want to talk power? Fear? Legacy? Girl, please. I’ve fought monsters my whole life…
…And tonight? I’m the exam.”
GRIZELDA — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Grizelda beneath an iron chandelier.]
Grizelda:
“Little flame… you flicker. You spark. But sparks… die. Tonight I smother the fire.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“Veronica came in HOT. Grizelda came in… terrifying. This is a perfect opener. High energy. High risk. High emotion.”
J.R.:
“And a clash of styles that could lead Night One in multiple directions. Veronica wants to prove herself. Grizelda wants to assert Dominion dominance early.”
She looks into the camera.
“And that is only the beginning.”
ZERO HOUR – NIGHT 1 CONTINUES
MATCH 2 — Ashley Summers vs Maid Marion
(Specialty Match)
J.R. Holland:
“Match Two of Night One is one of the most emotionally charged encounters scheduled for Zero Hour — Ashley Summers vs Maid Marion, under a specialty stipulation. No titles on the line… just pride, betrayal, and unresolved tension.”
Wally Pressman:
“And these two cut PRE-PPV promos like they were already fighting! Ashley sounds hurt. Marion sounds… like she’s rewriting Shakespeare in her own personal villain arc.”
J.R.:
“Both women are walking into Zero Hour with something to prove — but for very different reasons. Let’s hear their messages.”
ASHLEY SUMMERS — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Ashley in a training room, hands taped.]
Ashley Summers:
“Maid Marion… you used to be someone I trusted. Somewhere along the way, you got lost.
…Tonight isn’t about weapons or stipulations. It’s about truth. And I’m going to drag that truth out of you — kicking and screaming if I have to.”
MAID MARION — Pre-Recorded Promo
(Unchanged original promo)
[Visual: Marion in her medieval-styled chamber.]
Maid Marion (pre-recorded):
“Ashley… sweet Ashley. You mistake my evolution for madness…
…Tonight, I cleanse your illusions.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“This one is going to be RAW, J.R. Ashley is fired up. Marion is floating in her own theatrical reality. And specialty matches? Those always open the door to surprises.”
J.R.:
“Exactly. Ashley wants clarity. Marion wants control. And the stipulation gives them both space to express themselves physically and symbolically. It will be one of the most fascinating matches of Night One.”
MATCH 3 — Hardcore Championship
Hell’s Fang – The Morningstar (c) vs Mr. X
J.R.:
“The Hardcore Title brings a particular atmosphere to any show… and Morningstar vs Mr. X promises violence, grit, and psychological warfare.”
Wally:
“And J.R., I’m just gonna say it — Morningstar scares me. A lot. But Mr. X? He looks like the kind of guy who eats danger for breakfast.”
J.R.:
“Two men who both understand pain but interpret it in very different ways. Let’s hear from Mr. X first.”
MR. X — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Black backdrop, Mr. X adjusting gloves.]
Mr. X:
“Morningstar… chaos isn’t a skill. It doesn’t intimidate me.
…You’re about to learn the difference between someone who pretends to handle pain… and someone who lives in it.”
HELL’S FANG – THE MORNINGSTAR — Pre-Recorded Promo
(Already aired in Dominion Block #1; After Dark clarifies as hype replay.)
J.R.:
“Morningstar’s chilling proclamation earlier in the broadcast was also played before this match in Zero Hour promotion — a reminder of how he views violence as both language and ritual.”
Wally:
“Yeah, he talked about baptizing people in chaos like it was a religious ceremony! This one’s going to be nuts.”
J.R.:
“The Hardcore Title thrives on unpredictability. Mr. X thrives on defiance. Morningstar thrives on destruction. It’s a volatile mix… and the perfect centerpiece for early Night One.”
MATCH 4 — U.S. Championship
Ashen Vicar (c) vs Owen Zestwell
Wally:
“Match Four brings the White Flame into the spotlight — Ashen Vicar defending against Owen Zestwell. And these promos… I don’t even know how to describe them.”
J.R.:
“I do. Poetic vs. personal. Mystical vs. grounded. Vicar and Owen represent two completely different worlds colliding for the United States Championship.”
OWEN ZESTWELL — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Owen on a wooden bench.]
Owen Zestwell:
“I’ve been overlooked. I’ve been the ‘other’ Zestwell. But not tonight…
…Ashen Vicar, I don’t pretend to understand your mission. I only know I’m ready to stand my ground.”
ASHEN VICAR — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Stone monastery chamber.]
Ashen Vicar:
“Owen Zestwell. Gentle wanderer…
…The White Flame does not punish weakness. It burns it away.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“He talks like he’s reading from some ancient prophecy! I swear, every time Vicar speaks, a candle goes out somewhere.”
J.R.:
“And that’s precisely what makes him dangerous. He doesn’t approach wrestling as combat — he approaches it as purification. Owen, meanwhile, is stepping into his identity, ready to challenge someone far outside his usual experience.”
Wally:
“And that’s why this could be the sleeper match of the entire PPV. Total contrast. Total unpredictability.”
MATCH 5 — World Tag Team Championship
The Nightstalkers (c) vs La Famiglia Marconi
J.R.:
“Next, we move into a clash of family versus predation. The Nightstalkers have dominated the tag division with eerie precision. La Famiglia Marconi brings heart, tradition, and iron will.”
Wally:
“And some VERY heated pre-PPV promos. Let’s go to Dominic and Rolf first.”
LA FAMIGLIA MARCONI — Pre-Recorded Promo
Dominic Marconi:
“My father taught me one thing — family doesn’t step aside. Family steps UP.
…We don’t fear the dark. We’ve fought our way out of worse.”
Rolf Marconi:
“We’re not leaving empty-handed.”
THE NIGHTSTALKERS — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Torchlit crypt.]
Bloodfang (pre-recorded):
“Dominic… Rolf… you think heart makes you strong.”
Shadowfang:
“Heart bleeds.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“When the Nightstalkers speak, I feel like the temperature drops by ten degrees.”
J.R.:
“And when La Famiglia speaks, the room warms again. It’s a perfect clash — nightmares vs tradition. A beautifully built tag rivalry.”
MATCH 6 — Iron Maidens Tag Team Championship
Mina Harker & Korbi Kong (c) vs The Tinsel Twins
J.R. Holland:
“The semi-main event of Night One features one of HCW’s newest but most dominant alliances: Mina Harker and Korbi Kong, the Iron Maidens Tag Team Champions — defending against fan favorites Sparkle and Twinkle, The Tinsel Twins.”
Wally Pressman:
“And J.R., you said something last week that stuck with me. You said: ‘The Iron Maidens walk like they’re carrying prophecy, and the Twins walk like they’re carrying possibility.’ That’s EXACTLY what this feels like.”
J.R.:
“Both teams have momentum, both have support — but their philosophies are polar opposites. The Twins represent resilience, unity, and joy under pressure. Mina and Korbi represent control, transformation, and unwavering loyalty to the Dominion’s purpose.”
THE TINSEL TWINS — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Sparkle and Twinkle backstage in glittered jackets.]
Sparkle:
“Mina! Korbi! We see the doom, gloom, and ritual stuff you two do — and honestly?”
Twinkle:
“It’s boring!”
Sparkle:
“At Zero Hour, we dance through the darkness. And we come out shining.”
MINA HARKER & KORBI KONG — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Crimson-lit cathedral corridor.]
Mina Harkre:
“The Tinsel Twins are stars meant to sparkle… not to last.”
Korbi Kong:
“These belts… do not shine. They burn.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“I gotta admit — the Twins’ confidence is infectious. Sparkle and Twinkle never walk into a match thinking they’re outmatched.”
J.R.:
“And that’s exactly why they’ve made it to this stage. But Mina and Korbi are something else entirely. Mina moves like she’s holding back an entire storm inside her. Korbi? When she speaks, the air changes.”
Wally:
“This one could be a show-stealer.”
J.R.:
“Or a show-breaker. And that takes us to the first night’s final match.”
MATCH 7 — MAIN EVENT
World Ladies Championship
Scarlett Howl vs Selena “Widow’s Fang” Blackfang (c)
J.R.:
“The main event of Night One is a collision of destiny and domination. Scarlett Howl has become one of the most explosively popular stars in HCW — and she’s stepping into the ring with one of the most powerful champions in company history: Selena Blackfang.”
Wally:
“And I’m telling you — you could feel the electricity even BEFORE the promos aired. This is the match EVERYBODY is talking about.”
SCARLETT HOWL — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Scarlett at a snowy forest edge.]
Scarlett Howl:
“Selena… you’ve looked down on me long enough.
…At Zero Hour, I stop chasing. I start taking.”
SELENA “WIDOW’S FANG” BLACKFANG — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Selena on her throne.]
Selena Blackfang:
“Scarlett… I admire your fire.
…But I rule the night. And no flame survives the cold.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“Oh man, J.R… this is HUGE. Their history. Their tensions. Their COMPLETELY different temperaments. Scarlett has fire — real fire — and Selena has that spooky, elegant, ‘I control everything’ vibe.”
J.R.:
“Scarlett is fierce, defiant, and hungry. Selena is composed, calculating, and supremely confident. Their match caps Night One because it embodies everything Zero Hour represents — identity, power, transformation.”
She taps her notes once.
“And that… concludes the preview of Night One.”
We cut to a quick commercial break and then get back to the look-ahead.
SEGMENT TRANSITION — Dominion Promo Block #2
J.R.:
“And now — we step into the preview for Night Two.”
MATCH 1 OF NIGHT TWO
The Mirror Saints vs Azrael & Beastfang
J.R.:
“The opening match of Night Two pits the disciplined, ritualistic Mirror Saints against two of the Dominion’s most violently unpredictable members — Beastfang and Azrael.”
Wally:
“And we have all four men giving promos tonight. This one’s gonna be a chess match where the pieces hit back.”
THE MIRROR SAINTS — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Candlelit mirrored chamber.]
Elyra Moane:
“The Dominion thrives in darkness…
…but mirrors reveal what darkness hides.”
Sorin Savax:
“Balance must be restored.”
Vael Thorne:
“And imbalance must be corrected.”
AZRAEL & BEASTFANG — Pre-Recorded Promo
Azrael:
“Your balance is a lie.”
Beastfang:
“And lies break.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“This is a STORY MATCH. Saints bring structure. Dominion brings chaos. I have NO CLUE how this plays out.”
J.R.:
“And that makes it a perfect opening contest for Night Two.”
MATCH 2 OF NIGHT TWO
Groove Digger vs Nico Burnett
Buried Alive Match (Offsite Location)
J.R. Holland:
“Our second match on Night Two is unlike anything else on the card — or frankly, anything else we’ve seen this year. Groove Digger vs Nico Burnett in a Buried Alive Match, and not here in the arena, but at an offsite location chosen specifically for this event.”
Wally Pressman (eyes wide, nervous laugh):
“J.R., offsite matches ALWAYS give me anxiety. There’s no ring. No ropes. No rules beyond the stipulation. Just dirt, darkness, and two people settling something the old-fashioned way.”
J.R.:
“And the promos for this one reflected exactly that. Groove Digger and Nico Burnett didn’t hype a match… they hyped a reckoning.”
GROOVE DIGGER — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Digger under moonlight, shovel over his shoulder.]
Groove Digger:
“You want old-school violence, kid? Congratulations. You just bought yourself a one-way ticket to the darkest corner of the dirt.”
NICO BURNETT — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Nico pacing an abandoned yard.]
Nico Burnett:
“Tonight Groove Digger, I bury more than your body…
…I bury your name.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“I’m telling you — this is going to be gritty. Ugly. Emotional. Nico wants to erase Digger’s legacy. Digger wants to teach him history with a shovel.”
J.R.:
“And with no ring, no count-outs, and no structure, this match becomes pure psychological warfare. The darkness of the past meeting the hunger of the future. One of the most volatile elements of Night Two.”
MATCH 3 — TV Championship
Van Helsing (c) vs The Rich Athlete
J.R.:
“Up next: a clash of philosophies — Van Helsing, a methodical, disciplined hunter, defending the Television Championship against The Rich Athlete, a man who believes destiny is bought, not earned.”
Wally:
“And he SAID that in his promo! I still can’t believe he said discipline is for poor people!”
J.R. (dry):
“Rich Athlete speaks with… confidence.”
Wally:
“That’s one word for it.”
VAN HELSING — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Van Helsing sharpening a stake.]
Van Helsing:
“You chase spotlight. I chase monsters. You value wealth…that makes you predictable.”
THE RICH ATHLETE — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Luxury dressing room.]
The Rich Athlete:
“If things don’t go my way?
…I’ll just go embarrass someone at NPCW next week. Easy money. WOOOO.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“See?? THAT’S the kind of line you can only say if you’re rich enough to never read the room.”
J.R.:
“Van Helsing sees this match as a test of discipline. Rich Athlete views it as a branding opportunity. That contrast alone makes this match compelling.”
Wally:
“And unpredictable. You put a disciplined technician against a man who thinks rules apply to other people? Fireworks.”
MATCH 4 — Heritage Women’s Championship
Talia Nocturne (c) vs Ruby Howl
J.R.:
“This match carries emotional weight — perhaps more than any other on Night Two. Ruby Howl has fought her way through self-doubt and upward momentum. Talia Nocturne has embraced serenity, ritual, and the moonlit mystique that defines her reign as Heritage Women’s Champion.”
Wally:
“And THEN we have Grizelda lurking with that contract. She is NOT subtle.”
J.R.:
“Grizelda is never subtle.”
RUBY HOWL — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Ruby gripping ring ropes.]
Ruby Howl:
“I’m done being looked over. Tonight is about me.
Talia, get ready to kiss that belt goodbye.”
TALIA NOCTURNE — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Moonlit ritual pool.]
Talia Nocturne (pre-recorded):
“The championship is not a prize……it is a calling.
If you think it’s calling you now, you are delusional!”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“Ruby wants validation. Talia wants transcendence. This might be the most layered women’s match of the weekend.”
J.R.:
“Emotion, philosophy, and opportunism all converge here. It’s a perfect storm.”
MATCH 5 — Heritage Tag Team Championship
The Fangs of Despair (c) vs The Samoan Bloodline
J.R.:
“We now return to the tag division — specifically, the Heritage Tag Titles. Dr. Red Fang and Nightfang defend against Raku and Tumu Vaega, two of the most physically imposing competitors in HCW.”
Wally:
“Both teams cut promos like they were prepping for war. Let’s revisit those.”
SAMOAN BLOODLINE — Pre-Recorded Promo
Raku:
“We have walked through darkness before.”
Tumu Vaega:
“And when we walk… the earth shakes.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“This is going to be meat-on-meat violence. Power vs precision. Heritage vs horror.”
J.R.:
“And the perfect lead-in to the first of the weekend’s two emotional main events…”
MATCH 6 —Jax Brenner vs Yeti
Dominion Rules — Loser Leaves HCW
[Studio lights dim slightly. A hush settles over the set.]
J.R. Holland (somber, composed):
“This is not just a match. This is a year-long story closing itself in the most unforgiving way possible. Jax Brenner and The Yeti have traveled through violence, confusion, loss, fear, and betrayal… and at Zero Hour, one of them leaves HCW.”
Wally Pressman (quiet, shaken):
“J.R., I know we’re analysts, but this one… this feels different. This is personal. This is heartbreaking. It’s not just a stipulation — it’s the end of someone’s road.”
J.R.:
“And the Dominion Rules stipulation means there is no disqualification. No count-outs. No limitations. The environment becomes the weapon. The wrestlers define the chaos.”
She folds her hands on the desk, steady but affected.
“And before such a confrontation, both men recorded statements. These promos are not about hype — they are about finality.”
JAX BRENNER — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Jax in a dim hallway, fists taped, breathing hard.]
Jax Brenner:
“There are fights you choose. And there are fights that choose you.
For a year… he took everything.
My peace.
My focus.
My sister.”
He looks at the camera — pain and fury mixing.
“Yeti… if you want me gone, you’re gonna have to break me. I’m not leaving HCW.
Not tonight.
Not ever.”
[Back to Studio — Wally visibly swallows hard.]
Wally:
“That’s… that’s a lot. That’s a man who’s been through hell and still wants to fight.”
J.R. (quietly):
“Which makes what comes next even heavier.”
THE YETI — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Yeti in the snowy wilderness, breath freezing in the air.]
Yeti:
“Jax… you chase ghosts. You chase memories.
But you will not chase me anymore.”
He raises a massive hand.
“I end your fire.
I freeze your path.
And I take my place… as the judgment you cannot escape.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“It’s primal, J.R. Everything about this is primal. Yeti talking about fire, judgment — it feels mythic.”
J.R.:
“This is the purest emotional match of the entire weekend. Jax fights for identity. Yeti fights for inevitability. And the ‘Loser Leaves HCW’ stipulation ensures neither man enters this lightly.”
She pauses.
“And one more presence hangs over this match.”
SPECIAL ZERO HOUR PROMO
Feral — The Wild Card
J.R.:
“Feral has made her presence known in unexplainable ways — interfering in matches, her commanding presence felt at every step. At Zero Hour, she will be watching this match more closely than any other as her future it tied to Yeti.”
Wally (shivering):
“I STILL don’t understand her. I don’t think anyone does. And her promo? It gave me goosebumps.”
Feral — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Feral sitting in a dimmed corner.]
Feral:
“The night is hungry…
The beasts are angry…
The hunter’s heart is tangled…
And the monster’s mind is mangled…”
She tilts her head.
“I do not choose a side.
I choose… the chaos.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“She picks CHAOS. THAT’S her side?! J.R., that’s not a side, that’s a threat!”
J.R.:
“Which is why this match is so dangerous. Neither competitor is just fighting each other — they are fighting the environment, the rules, and unseen forces.”
She breathes in slowly.
“At Zero Hour… something ends.”
MATCH 7 — MAIN EVENT OF NIGHT TWO
World Heavyweight Championship
Jack “Timberfang” Lumber (c) vs Zack Brown (contract cash in).
J.R.:
“And now we come to the Zero Hour finale. The match that closes Night Two. The match that shapes HCW’s world going forward:
Jack Lumber defending the World Championship against Zack ‘Commando’ Brown.”
Wally:
“A champion who thinks he’s awakened… against a challenger who’s tired of being overlooked.”
J.R.:
“Exactly. Two men whose paths mirrored each other in the past — now colliding with radically different identities. Let’s hear from the challenger first.”
ZACK BROWN — Pre-Recorded Promo
[Visual: Zack in a military-style training yard, punching a heavy bag.]
Zack Brown:
“I’ve been underestimated before.
Forgotten before.
But I don’t stay down.
I don’t stay quiet.”
He lifts his dog tags.
“These remind me every day — strength isn’t something you’re given. It’s something you survive.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“Zack always sounds like he’s walking into a warzone, not a wrestling match. And honestly? For the world title, that’s the right mindset.”
J.R.:
“He knows what’s at stake. And Jack knows what he intends to protect.”
JACK “TIMBERFANG” LUMBER — Pre-Recorded Promo
Jack Lumber:
“Zack thinks Vlad twisted me.
Zack thinks I’m lost.
But the truth?
I’m finally awake.
At Zero Hour, you finally will realize who runs this camp.”
[Back to Studio]
Wally:
“The Commando has been sitting on that contract for months. Finally, he decides to cash it in at Zero Hour. He called his shot. Now, he needs to bring it home.”
J.R.:
“Zero Hour ends on transformation. That much is certain. How that transformation looks… remains to be seen.”
FINAL SPECIAL SEGMENT - Krampus Sends a Message to Count Vlad
[Studio lights dim to their lowest setting. The After Dark banner fades out. A chilling frost-blue hue fills the screen as the broadcast transitions into the pre-recorded video.]
PRE-RECORDED MESSAGE — KRAMPUS
[Visual: A cavern deep within the North Pole. Jagged icicles spike downward like fangs. Chains rattle somewhere beyond the frame. Snow swirls unnaturally, as if pulled into the cave by an unseen force. At the center stands Krampus — towering, horned, monstrous, breath curling in thick frozen plumes.]
Krampus:
“Vlad… do not forget the pact.”
The monster drags a chain across the icy stone floor, sparks cracking off the frozen ground.
“On the fifteenth day, as agreed… Wilber Townsend must stand before me.”
He lifts one claw, its edges sharp enough to carve ice with a whisper.
“Whether he carries gold… or carries failure… is irrelevant.”
A snarl.
“What matters is obedience.”
Krampus steps closer to the lens — his immense form filling the screen until only his glowing red eyes remain visible.
“And if you… or your Dominion… dare delay?”
A thunderous growl shakes the cavern.
“I WILL COME TO COLLECT WHAT IS OWED.”
The screen flickers to black.
[Back to Studio — Wally looks like his soul briefly left his body.]
Pressman:
“...Okay, um… I’m gonna say something bold. I think I prefer Vlad’s threats. At least THEY don’t make me feel like winter itself is hunting me.”
J.R. Holland (composed, though with a subtle raised brow):
“Krampus is not subtle. Nor is this message. Count Vlad’s influence extends far, but Krampus is from an entirely different domain — one where even the Dominion must tread carefully.”
Wally:
“And this isn’t even ABOUT Zero Hour! This is… homework. The world’s scariest homework assignment.”
J.R.:
“It adds a chilling layer of urgency to the Dominion’s internal structure. With Wilber competing at Zero Hour on Night 2, the timing is… precarious.”
She exhales softly.
“This event is going to reshape HCW — in ways many fans may not expect.”
AFTER DARK FINAL SEGMENT
J.R. & Wally Prepare the Audience for ZERO HOUR
J.R.:
“As we conclude tonight’s broadcast, let’s take a step back and look at the magnitude of what lies ahead. Two nights. Fourteen matches. Ten championships. One career ending. Endless implications.”
Wally:
“We’ve got fire, ice, chaos, prophecy, family pride, scientific horror, supernatural storms, Dominions, Bloodlines, Saints, Howls, and a man literally digging a grave for someone. This PPV has EVERYTHING.”
J.R. (a small smile):
“That’s one way to summarize it.”
She leans forward slightly — the signature After Dark tone returning.
“But in all seriousness… Zero Hour is a crossroads. Every match carries weight. Every competitor brings a story. And whether it’s destiny, duty, vengeance, balance, honor, chaos, or legacy — everyone has something to fight for.”
Wally:
“I don’t think HCW has ever had a PPV this loaded. Every division is represented. Every rivalry hits its peak. And the Dominion? They’re everywhere. They’re touching almost every match.”
J.R.:
“Which means Zero Hour could either cement their dominance… or expose their fractures.”
She taps her pen — a deliberate punctuation.
“And that is why this weekend matters.”
CLOSING STATEMENTS
J.R. Holland:
“Fans, thank you for joining us for this extended preview edition of HCW After Dark. Zero Hour is shaping up to be an event that defines careers and reshapes the future of HCW.”
Wally Pressman:
“And I’ll be honest — after sitting through all those promos, I’m gonna sleep with the lights on.”
J.R. Holland (gently amused):
“I’ll see you on the other side of Zero Hour. Good night, wrestling fans — and as always…”
Both:
“Stay Tuned!”
[Fade out — the ZERO HOUR logo pulses with low choral tones.]
