The HCW Live Wire theme hits as the Columbia Arena crowd roars. Pyro explodes in a cascade of blue and gold. Cameras sweep across signs and banners before cutting to the announce desk.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter! We are live in Columbia, South Carolina for HCW Live Wire, and Johnny — the road to House of Horrors is paved with fire and chaos!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Fire, chaos, and a whole lotta bad news for the so-called heroes of HCW, Mike. At House of Horrors, every single match is a specialty match. Dominion’s playground. And don’t forget — after the horrors of October, we’ve got Convergence in November, the biggest collision between HCW and NPCW in history.”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“And speaking of that collision, earlier this week NPCW’s own Mean Jack Mason had some words for our World Title contender Zack Brown. Let’s take a look.”

On the Omegatron, a clipped replay of Mean Jack Mason’s promo airs — focused only on his scathing remarks toward Zack Brown. The crowd boos heavily, some even tossing trash toward the aisle at the mention of Mason’s name.

[HCW Arena – The lights dim. The big screen flickers on, and we see a replay package of Mean Jack Mason from NPCW. The crowd boos immediately.]

Jack Mason (from taped promo):
“Zack Commando Brown from HCW? Now there’s a scary guy, right? Big bad Zack, the so-called wrecking ball who drinks battery acid for breakfast. Ooooh, terrifying.

Give me a break. Compared to ol’ Zack, Negropolis is an insignificant flea—and Zack himself? He’s just a flea with a slightly louder bark. None of ‘em can bite the wolf standing right here.”

[The screen cuts to black. The crowd is buzzing with heavy boos.]

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Hah! I love it. Mason told the truth. Zack Brown is marching toward a firestorm — Wicked Prophet on one side, Dominion breathing down his neck, and now Mason calling him out from NPCW. How long can he hold up, Mike?”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson (fired up): “Mean Jack Mason running his mouth, taking shots at one of HCW’s toughest warriors! I don’t know about you, Johnny, but that sounds like a man picking a fight he might not be ready for.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris (grinning): “Careful what you wish for, Jack. Because when you start calling Zack Brown a flea, you’re basically daring the Commando to storm your front door.”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Well we’re about to find out, because Zack Brown is in the building tonight, and he has promised to respond!”

[Suddenly, “Shockwave Protocol” by Iron Honor Division rips through the speakers. The crowd erupts as Zack “Commando” Brown storms down the ramp, dog tags swinging. He slides into the ring with a mic, pacing like a man ready for combat.]

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “And here comes the Commando himself!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “Oh, Jack Mason is about to regret those words in three… two… one…”

Zack “Commando” Brown (live in-ring promo):

[HCW Arena – The lights dim, “Shockwave Protocol” by Iron Honor Division hits. The crowd leaps to its feet as Zack “Commando” Brown storms down the ramp, dog tags clinking, intensity burning in his eyes.]

Mike “the Voice” Johnson (amped): “Listen to this reaction! Zack ‘the Commando’ Brown is in the house and business just picked up!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris (half-smirk): “Business? Mike, it sounds like a war zone in here! And from the look in Zack’s eyes, he’s not here to trade holiday cards with Mean Jack Mason—he’s here to send a message loud and clear.”

[Zack slides into the ring, pacing like a caged predator before grabbing a mic. The crowd chants “COM-MAN-DO! COM-MAN-DO!” as he raises the mic.]

Zack “Commando” Brown (promo delivered live in-ring):
“Jack Mason. I heard your little snow-covered bedtime story. ‘Fleas in the dark city,’ huh? That’s cute. But let me remind you of something, soldier—when a Commando goes into hostile territory, he doesn’t swat fleas. He eliminates threats. Permanent. And you… walking around with that North Pole Championship like it’s the holy grail of wrestling… you just volunteered yourself to be target number one.”

[Crowd pops big, chanting “TARGET LOCKED!” Zack leans on the ropes, eyes burning into the camera.]

“You call me a flea? Son, I’ve been blown up, busted open, and run through every obstacle this business could throw at me. And every single time, I got back up swinging. A flea doesn’t break down doors. A flea doesn’t leave craters. A flea doesn’t stare down entire armies and say, ‘Let’s dance.’ But a Commando does. And Zack Brown sure as hell does.”

[The crowd roars. Zack pulls his dog tags off, lets them dangle against the camera with a metallic CLINK.]

“Convergence is coming. You wanna talk about plagues and eternal darkness? That’s fine. You go keep bowing to Vlad, go play his good little attack dog. Because when that day comes, Jack, you’re not gonna be standing tall in the shadows. You’re gonna be flat on your back, gasping for air, wondering how the flea you mocked just chewed right through your damn throat.”

[Zack paces, voice rising as the crowd surges.]

“North Pole Championship, Universal Championship, Heritage, World, you name it—titles don’t scare me. Opponents don’t scare me. And Jack Mason… you sure as hell don’t scare me. So lace those boots, polish that belt, and pray the cold keeps you warm. Because the moment Zack Brown steps into your frozen wasteland… the only storm you’re gonna feel is—”

Crowd (exploding, in unison): “SHOCKWAVE PROTOCOL!”

[Zack slams the mic down, fists clenched as he stares into the hard cam. The arena shakes with chants as his music blasts again.]

Mike “the Voice” Johnson (fired up): “There it is! That’s Zack Brown at his absolute finest—no fear, no hesitation, and a message sent straight to Mean Jack Mason and anyone else who dares question HCW’s fighting spirit!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris (grinning): “Oh, Mason’s got himself a fight now, Mike. And I’ll tell you what—if he thought Zack was just some flea to brush off, he might be in for the rudest awakening of his career. Shockwave Protocol doesn’t just knock you down—it wipes you out.”

[Zack climbs the turnbuckle, raising his dog tags high as the fans roar in approval. The camera lingers on his intense stare before fading to black.]

Segment – Max McGillicutty’s Announcement

Zack Brown’s music fades as the crowd settles. Suddenly, “Executive Order” — a corporate-sounding orchestral theme — hits the speakers. The Columbia crowd erupts in boos as Max McGillicutty walks down the aisle, clipboard in hand and smug grin on his face. He enters the ring, raising a microphone.

Max McGillicutty:
“Ladies and gentlemen, as the General Manager of HCW, it’s my job to keep things running by the book. And that includes managerial licenses. You see, Molly Mason’s license to operate as a manager is set to expire. But… I’m a fair man. If she wants that extension, she’ll have to prove she belongs in this ring as more than just a nurse in Jax Brenner’s corner.”

The fans boo louder, chanting “MAX SUCKS!” Max smirks and holds up a sheet of paper.

Max McGillicutty:
“So here’s the deal, Columbia. Tonight, Molly Mason has to wrestle. And her opponent? One of the Dark Dominion’s most savage predators. Molly Mason, lace up those boots — or pack your bags.”

“Rebel Spirit” by Southern Skye plays as Molly Mason makes her way to the ring, looking uneasy but determined. She’s in wrestling gear for the first time in months, accompanied by Jax Brenner, who stays close at her side, fist bumping with fans and keeping Molly’s spirits up.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Molly Mason is as tough as they come, but this is a raw deal from Max McGillicutty. She’s a manager, not an active competitor, and he knows it!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Cry me a river, Mike. If Molly wants to stay licensed, she needs to prove she can still step between those ropes. Max is just enforcing the rules.”

The arena plunges into darkness. Red spotlights sweep across the crowd as Count Vlad’s voice echoes through the PA system.

Count Vlad:
“Ladies and gentlemen… it is time to release the beast.”

An ear-splitting roar rumbles as “Ravenous Hunger” by Black Crucifix hits. Feral charges out, flanked by Count Vlad and the Yeti, who looms behind her like a mountain. The three make their way to the ring, Feral snarling and clawing at the air as Vlad grins wickedly and Yeti stares coldly at Jax.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“This is ridiculous! Molly Mason, a manager, is being forced into a match with a Dominion savage like Feral — and with Count Vlad and the Yeti lurking ringside no less!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Ridiculous? No, Mike. This is justice. Molly wants a license? Let’s see if she can earn it!”

The bell rang with Molly Mason looking more determined than ever, despite the intimidating presence of Count Vlad and The Yeti at ringside. Feral opened aggressively, raking Molly’s face and clawing like a wild animal, but Molly answered with surprising grit, snapping her opponent down with a sharp neckbreaker.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Molly Mason isn’t just surviving — she’s fighting back! She’s showing the world she can still go in that ring!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Oh, please. She got one lucky shot. The Dominion doesn’t lose to managers in skirts, Mike.”

The match swung back and forth — Molly locking in ankle locks and landing tornado DDTs, Feral mauling her with the Wild Claw and Sasquatch Stomp. At one point, Count Vlad tried to turn the tide, flashing the “Evil Eye” to distract Molly. But the manager-turned-wrestler dug deep, countering Feral’s suplexes and even tossing her to the floor. The crowd rallied louder with each exchange, chanting “MOL-LY! MOL-LY!” as she kept refusing to quit.

As the battle reached its peak, Feral drove Molly down with a flying bulldog, nearly ending it. But Molly fought through, firing back with another neckbreaker and stunning Feral with a twirling spinning kick that landed flush. The crowd exploded as Molly collapsed on top for the cover —

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“She’s got her! She’s got her!”

1… 2… 3!

The referee’s hand hit the mat and the arena erupted in disbelief — Molly Mason had pinned Feral clean in the middle of the ring.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“No! No way! That’s a travesty! That’s a fluke, Mike, and you know it!”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Fluke or not, Molly Mason just shocked the Dark Dominion and proved she belongs in HCW as more than a manager!”

After the bell, Jax Brenner hit the ring to celebrate with Molly — but The Yeti charged in, sparking an all-out brawl. The crowd went wild as the two titans collided, fists flying, until Max McGillicutty stormed back onto the stage with clipboard in hand, barking into the microphone:

Max McGillicutty:
“ENOUGH! You want to rip each other apart? Fine! At House of Horrors, October 31st, it’ll be Jax Brenner versus the Yeti — in a Casket Match!”

The Columbia Arena shook with cheers as Jax pointed at Yeti, shouting he’d “bury him once and for all.” Vlad smirked at ringside, applauding the chaos as Molly clung to Jax, still dazed but victorious.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“What a way to kick off Live Wire! Molly Mason just scored the upset of a lifetime, and now the stage is set — Jax Brenner and the Yeti inside a casket at House of Horrors!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And that’s the night the lid slams shut on Jax Brenner, Mike. Dominion always wins in the end.”

Segment – Zestwell Brothers Contract Signing

The camera cuts back to the ring, where a table draped in black cloth has been set up. Two chairs and the official bout contract sit on top, along with a pen. GM Max McGillicutty who remained after the last segment is already in the ring as a “neutral” overseer. The crowd buzzes in anticipation.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Fans, this is going to be volatile. The Zestwell brothers — Owen and Thaddeus — will sign the contract tonight for their boxing match at House of Horrors. No titles on the line, just family hatred at its ugliest.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And it’s about time, Mike! The Zestwells have been squabbling for months. At House of Horrors, they’re gonna settle it the old-fashioned way — with their fists.”

“Pride of the People” by Iron Banner hits, and Owen Zestwell strides down the aisle in street gear, jaw set, head high. The fans cheer him loudly as he climbs into the ring, glaring at the table before pacing the ropes.

Moments later, “High Society Strut” by The Moneybags blasts over the PA. Thaddeus Zestwell makes his entrance in a flashy tailored suit, smirking and wagging his finger at jeering fans. He carries one of his boxing gloves slung over his shoulder like a trophy. The boos rain down as he saunters to the ring, milking the heat.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“There’s no shame in his game — Thaddeus has been openly mocking his brother’s integrity, his career, his entire life.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Because Owen’s a sap, Mike! Thaddeus has always been the brains and the talent of the family.”

Inside the ring, Tony Calibur takes the microphone.

Tony Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen, this contract signing is to make official the Boxing Match between Owen Zestwell and Thaddeus Zestwell, to take place at HCW’s House of Horrors on October 31st!”

The fans cheer as Owen pulls the chair back and sits, staring daggers at his brother. Thaddeus lounges across his chair, grinning ear to ear.

Owen Zestwell (firm, into mic):
“You’ve run your mouth for too long, Thad. You’ve disrespected our family, embarrassed our name, and spat on everything Dad taught us about this sport. On October 31st, when that bell rings, there won’t be anywhere left to hide. No excuses. Just my fists, breaking your jaw.”

The crowd pops. Thaddeus chuckles, clapping mockingly before leaning into the mic.

Thaddeus Zestwell (smug):
“Oh, Owen. Always the good little soldier. Always the straight man. That’s why you’ve been stuck in mediocrity your whole career, while I’ve built myself into a star. Boxing? This isn’t your world. You don’t have the killer instinct. You’ve got heart… and I’ve got brains. And in boxing, brains always win.”

The crowd boos hard. Owen slams his hand on the table and stands, pointing at his brother.

Owen Zestwell:
“Brains don’t stop punches, Thad. You’ve been ducking me for months, but come Halloween, there’s nowhere to run!”

Owen grabs the pen, scrawls his signature across the contract, then slams the pen down on the table. The crowd cheers. Thaddeus slowly picks up the pen, smirking the whole time. He looks down at the paper, then back at Owen.

Thaddeus Zestwell (mocking):
“You’re right. There’s nowhere to run. And you’ll regret every second you begged for this fight.”

Before signing, Thaddeus reaches into his jacket pocket and slips on the boxing glove — already loaded with a foreign object. In a flash, he cocks back and smashes Owen across the jaw with a sickening thud. Owen crumples to the mat, clutching his face as the crowd erupts in boos.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Oh come on! That glove — there’s something in that glove! He just laid his brother out cold!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Hah! Strategy, Mike. That’s called getting in your opponent’s head before the fight even starts!”

Thaddeus calmly bends over, picks up the pen, and signs his name on the contract while Owen writhes in pain at his feet. He flicks the pen onto Owen’s chest and straightens his suit jacket with a grin.

Thaddeus Zestwell (leaning into camera):
“October 31st, little brother. You won’t even make it past round one.”

He tosses the loaded glove onto Owen’s body before exiting the ring to deafening boos. Officials rush in to check on Owen as Thaddeus struts up the ramp, smug and laughing. The camera lingers on Owen bleeding from the mouth, glaring up the aisle at his brother.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“This is disgusting! The contract is signed, but Owen Zestwell may already be at a disadvantage thanks to his own flesh and blood!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“At a disadvantage? No, no, Mike. He just got a taste of what’s coming at House of Horrors. And Thaddeus is already one step ahead.”

The camera cuts to a replay of the cheap shot, then back to Owen being helped by medics. The crowd chants “O-WEN! O-WEN!” as the show goes to commercial.  Owen gets back to his feet and he is seething as he watches his brother saunter up the ramp and head behind the curtain.

Commercial Break – Scrooge Hypes Convergence

The screen cuts to a lavish office decked in red velvet and gold trim. Behind an oversized mahogany desk sits
Ebenezer Scrooge, draped in a sparkling pinstripe suit with dollar signs embroidered across the lapels. A pile of HCW and NPCW contracts are scattered in front of him, along with stacks of cash and golden tickets marked “Convergence.” He looks straight into the camera, eyes glinting with greed.

Ebenezer Scrooge (leaning forward):
“Attention, peasants—er, I mean
fans. The greatest wrestling spectacle in history is coming. HCW and NPCW colliding in Convergence! Forget your Halloween tricks — this is the treat you want to spend every last penny on. Exclusive passes, private packages, tickets that only the richest, most deserving of you can afford. Don’t be left out in the cold… invest in me!”

He slaps a golden lanyard down on the desk and smirks.

Ebenezer Scrooge:
“Remember, this isn’t about you. This isn’t about your heroes. This is about filling MY coffers. Because at the end of the day, ladies and gentlemen…”

He throws his arms wide as golden coins rain down from the ceiling behind him.

Ebenezer Scrooge (shouting):
“SHOW ME (and only ME) THE MONEY!”

The screen flashes with the Convergence logo in bold gold and silver letters before fading back to the arena.

Then, commentary brings us back:

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Welcome back, fans. We’ve just witnessed that disgusting attack by Thaddeus Zestwell, and now Scrooge—of course—trying to line his pockets on the back of Convergence.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And what a genius move it is, Mike! Only Scrooge could turn a war between HCW and NPCW into a personal payday. That’s business, baby!”

We return from commercial to the low hum of the crowd. Suddenly, the arena lights flicker and dim, plunging the Columbia Arena into an eerie crimson glow. A distorted church organ begins to play “Ashes of Tomorrow” by The Harrowed Choir. The Omegatron flashes chaotic images — burning forests, cracked stained glass, writhing shadows. Slowly, The Wicked Prophet emerges from the curtain, arms outstretched, whispering to himself with eyes rolled back.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Here comes a man who thrives on fear and suffering, Johnny. The Wicked Prophet, more dangerous than ever with his sights firmly set on Zack Brown.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“More dangerous? He’s visionary, Mike. This man claims to see the future, and in his future Zack Brown doesn’t survive House of Horrors. That’s prophecy!”

Prophet slithers down the ramp, moving with deliberate menace. He climbs the steps, pauses to glare at the crowd, then drops to his knees on the apron, arms wide as crimson pyro shoots upward. He enters the ring, crouching in a corner, muttering as the lights slowly return to normal.

The crowd comes alive as “Glory Road” by American Revival hits the speakers. The upbeat guitar riff brings a burst of energy, and Billy Robbins charges out from the back, slapping hands with fans down the aisle. He’s dressed in red-and-blue gear, his eyes locked on Prophet in the ring.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“And here’s a young man who’s all heart — Billy Robbins! He knows the odds are stacked against him, but he never backs down from a fight.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Yeah, heart gets you nowhere when you’re stepping into the fire with a man who can already see how the match ends. This is a slaughter waiting to happen.”

Billy slides into the ring, hops onto the middle rope, and throws up a fist to rally the fans. Prophet remains crouched in the corner, staring a hole through him, whispering as if reciting a sermon only he can hear.

The referee signals for the bell as the tension thickens.

Match #2:  The Wicked Prophet vs Billy Robbins

From the opening bell, the pace was frantic. Billy Robbins tried to keep Prophet off balance with slingshots and suplexes, but the sinister zealot countered nearly everything with his own brand of punishment — fiery strikes, gnashing holds, and the ever-dangerous “Fire – Walk With Me.”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Billy Robbins isn’t backing down from the Prophet’s punishment! He’s firing back with everything he’s got!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And it’s not enough, Mike. You can’t outfight a man who thinks pain is holy.”

Robbins rallied in spurts, landing big moonsaults and even scoring a couple of near falls that had the crowd roaring. But every time he looked to pull ahead, the Wicked Prophet dragged him back into the darkness — smashing him with the Baptism of Fire, cinching in the Devil’s Snare, and wearing him down piece by piece.

The final minutes saw Billy throw desperation uppercuts and a missile dropkick that staggered Prophet, but the zealot cut him off with one last Smite that dropped him flat. Prophet covered, and this time Robbins couldn’t escape — 1, 2, 3.

Tony Calibur (ring announcer):
“Here is your winner… the Wicked Prophet!”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“An impressive showing from Billy Robbins, but once again, the Prophet’s message of pain reigns supreme.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And if Zack Brown’s listening, he better take notes — because that’s exactly what awaits him at House of Horrors.”

After the Bell

Zack Brown rushes down and begins brawling with the Wicked Prophet.  Prophet exits the ring and seizes a microphone, still breathing heavy, eyes wild.

Wicked Prophet:
“Zack Brown! You think you can interrupt visions from the beyond? You think you can mock the flames of destiny?! At House of Horrors, the fire won’t be contained! I demand you face me in the Inferno Pit — where you’ll BURN!”

The crowd roars. Zack leans over the ropes, microphone in hand that he was given by a stagehand.

Zack “Commando” Brown:
“You want it? You got it. At House of Horrors, Prophet, the only one going up in flames… is you!”

The fans explode as Prophet drops to his knees, arms stretched, cackling at the “vision fulfilled.” Zack stares him down as commentary reacts.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“It’s official! Zack Brown versus the Wicked Prophet — an Inferno Pit Match at House of Horrors!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And that’s the moment Zack Brown just signed his own death warrant!”

Segment: The Rich Athlete Fires the First Shot

[VISUAL: The Live Wire crowd buzzes as the arena lights dim and a golden spotlight shines on the entrance ramp. “Trust Fund Frenzy” by Golden Standard hits the speakers, and out struts the Rich Athlete in a tailored three-piece suit, sunglasses gleaming, Ruth Heartless on his arm. He struts down the ramp with a glass of champagne, sneering at fans waving signs for Zack Brown, Biceps Bannerman, and other HCW favorites. He steps into the ring, already smirking as the crowd rains down boos. Ruth hands him a microphone, which he twirls in his hand like it’s beneath him to even hold it.]

MIKE 'THE VOICE' JOHNSON: “Here we go again — the Rich Athlete, never one to keep his mouth shut when there’s a spotlight to hog.”

A person holding a trophy

RICH ATHLETE (oozing arrogance):
“Columbia, South Carolina… WOOOO! You’re lookin’ at the greatest investment Heritage Championship Wrestling ever made! And I gotta tell ya, this company? This place is run by a bunch of second-rate chumps pretending they’re prime stock! Zack Brown? A boot camp dropout with delusions of grandeur. Biceps Bannerman? More like Discount Dumbbell. Max McGillicutty? Ha! A GM that couldn’t outbid a yard sale! HCW is supposed to be the home of the best, but I look around and I see nothin’ but washed-up dreamers and overhyped wannabes! WOOOO!”

[He takes a long sip of champagne, smirking as the crowd boos louder. Ruth Heartless laughs and claps beside him.]

JOHNNY 'THE HAMMER' HARRIS: “I mean, Mike, he’s a jerk — but tell me that crowd ain’t hanging on every word. The man knows how to get heat.”

RICH ATHLETE (pointing at the camera):
“And let’s not forget NPCW. Oh yeah, the North Pole. Where the roads are frozen, the fans are frozen, and the competition? Frozen in the past! You got Mean Jack Mason stompin’ around like some dollar-store barbarian. You got Scrooge tryin’ to sell toys nobody asked for. You got Polly Mason spinning umbrellas like she’s auditionin’ for the circus! That’s not wrestling — that’s a carnival sideshow, pal!”

RUTH HEARTLESS (cutting in with a smirk):
“Maybe they should stop worrying about snow and start worrying about style. But hey, not everybody can look like this…” (gestures at Rich Athlete) “…or manage like me.”

RICH ATHLETE (suddenly growing smug, lowering his glasses):
“And then there’s you, Sandman… ohhh yeah, don’t think I forgot. Mr. Spooky himself. Walking around in a white coat, whisperin’ bedtime stories about dreams and nightmares like you’re some bargain-bin Freddy Krueger. Newsflash, pal — the only thing you’ve ever put to sleep is the crowd! WOOOO!”

[The audience erupts in “Sandman! Sandman!” chants. Rich laughs it off, tugging at his Rolex and pacing the ring.]

MIKE 'THE VOICE' JOHNSON: “Now that’s just plain disrespectful — The Sandman is one of the most dangerous champions in NPCW.”

RICH ATHLETE:
“You call yourself a champion, but you ain’t ever been in the ring with PERFECTION. You ain’t ever been in the ring with silk, champagne, gold, and GLORY all rolled into one! At Convergence, pal, you step into my world, and when you do, you’re not lookin’ at a nightmare. You’re lookin’ at the richest reality in this business — The Rich Athlete! WOOOO!  And trust me, bozo… your time as champion will fade faster than dreams upon waking.”

[Rich throws his head back with a “WOOOO!” as he struts to the ropes, holding the mic in one hand and champagne in the other. The crowd boos thunderously while the camera zooms in on Ruth smirking like a viper. The segment fades with Rich twirling his jacket, styling and profiling as “Trust Fund Frenzy” blares again.]

JOHNNY 'THE HAMMER' HARRIS: “Well, Mike, love him or hate him — the Rich Athlete just lit a fire under HCW and NPCW. And something tells me The Sandman ain’t gonna let this one slide.”

The camera cuts back to the ring, where The Rich Athlete is already strutting in his sequined robe, grinning smugly as Ruth Heartless claps and fans herself with a wad of fake cash. Rich preens, blowing kisses to the booing Columbia crowd.

Suddenly, a loud country fiddle kicks in as “Big Ol’ Country Boy” by The Hog Callers blares through the speakers. The crowd pops with laughter and cheers as Burley Barkley comes stomping out from the curtain, overalls stretched to their limit, a wide grin on his face. He waves a straw hat in the air, slapping hands with fans before nearly tripping over the bottom of the ramp.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Listen to this ovation for Burley Barkley! He may be new to HCW, but he’s already won the hearts of these fans — a big man with a bigger smile!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Oh, please. This guy looks like he just rolled off a tractor! Rich Athlete is going to make a mockery of him. Burley Barkley doesn’t belong in the same arena as Ruth Heartless, let alone the Rich Athlete!”

Burley climbs onto the apron, slapping his belly for the crowd, then steps over the top rope with surprising agility. He points at Rich Athlete and shouts, “Time for a good ol’ country whoopin’!” The crowd roars as Rich sneers in disgust, holding his nose like Burley stinks.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Burley Barkley may be underestimated, but look at that size! If he gets his hands on the Rich Athlete, it could be a long night for the “Wheelin’ dealin’! Limousine ridin’! Jet flyin’! Son of a gun!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Size? Please. Rich Athlete is about brains, class, and strategy. Burley’s about… well… biscuits and gravy!”

The referee checks both men as Ruth Heartless yells at Burley from ringside. The bell is about to ring.

The crowd was buzzing as Burley Barkley squared off with the preening Rich Athlete, who made sure everyone knew his robe cost more than Burley’s entire farm. The opening minutes saw Barkley surprise the arrogant heel, catching him with a Kin Folk Drop and even a quick pin attempt after a Moonshine Smash that got to two. Ruth Heartless shrieked in panic before climbing onto the apron to distract the referee, buying her man a chance to roll out and regroup.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “Burley nearly shocked the world right there! He’s showing the Rich Athlete that toughness can’t be bought!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “Please, Mike. Burley’s a sideshow. The Rich Athlete is jet-flyin’, kiss-stealin’, and already making this kid famous just by sharing the ring with him.”

The Athlete fired back with sharp chops that echoed through the Columbia Arena, his Fortune’s Fist and Seven-Figure Suplex shifting momentum. He strutted around Burley, shouting “I’m what success looks like!” before stomping on his opponent’s leg. Each time Burley tried to power out, Ruth was there — pulling the ropes, raking his eyes, even laughing in his face as the referee scolded her.

The middle stretch turned into a battle of attrition. The Athlete slowed things down with the Luxurious Leglock, Ruth cheering him on like he had already won. Burley roared through the pain, clawing to the ropes as the fans thundered “BUR-LEY! BUR-LEY!”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “Listen to this place! They believe in Burley Barkley!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “That’s nice, but the bank doesn’t take belief, Mike. They take cold, hard cash — and the Rich Athlete has plenty of it.”

Burley answered with raw power, stringing together a Towering Suplex and another Kin Folk Drop that had the crowd on its feet. He covered, but at the last second Ruth shoved her man’s foot on the ropes. The arena booed mercilessly, and Burley pointed at her in frustration. The Athlete seized the moment, chopping Burley across the chest again and taunting, “This is what separates us, boy!”

The final minutes were frantic. Burley hit a big back body drop, but the Athlete countered with a crushing Million Dollar Kneedrop for a near fall that had Ruth screaming “That’s three!” Burley somehow kicked out, sending the fans into a frenzy. The Rich Athlete grew desperate, trying another Luxurious Leglock, but Burley muscled out and planted him with one last suplex.

Both men were down as the clock ticked away. Burley dragged himself to the ropes, climbing for a final Moonshine Smash, but the Athlete rolled away at the last second and caught him in a headlock. He covered just as Honest Abe dropped to the mat… but the bell rang.

Tony Calibur (ring announcer): “Ladies and gentlemen, after thirty minutes of action, this contest has reached the time limit… this match is a draw!”

The fans booed the indecisive finish, though many rose to applaud Burley for lasting the full half-hour. Ruth Heartless pulled her man to his feet, shrieking at the referee about slow counts. The Rich Athlete smirked, brushed himself off, and strutted up the ramp, wagging his finger at Burley’s call for “five more minutes.”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “What heart from Burley Barkley! He stood toe-to-toe with the Rich Athlete and went the distance — he deserves another shot!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “Deserves? Mike, please. The Rich Athlete doesn’t waste time on rematches with peasants. He’s already moving on to bigger, richer things.”

As the boos rained down, Ruth Heartless snatched a microphone from Tony Calibur before the Rich Athlete could leave the ringside area. She sneered at the fans, brushing back her hair with a mocking laugh.

Ruth Heartless:
“Oh, stop your whining! Did you people really think this mud-covered farmhand was on the same level as my man? Please! The only reason this match even went thirty minutes is because the Rich Athlete allowed it. He carried that country bumpkin on his back so all of you could have your little underdog fairy tale!”

The crowd booed louder, chanting “BUR-LEY! BUR-LEY!” as Burley leaned on the ropes, still catching his breath.

Ruth Heartless (smirking):
“Don’t get it twisted, peasants. The Rich Athlete could have ended this at any moment. But he doesn’t just win matches… he creates moments. And tonight? The moment was giving your hillbilly hero a taste of the high life before sending him right back to obscurity.”

The Rich Athlete laughed, patting himself on the chest and shouting, “You’re welcome, Columbia!” before throwing his arms wide and letting the boos wash over him.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“This is disgusting. Burley Barkley went the distance and proved himself tonight, and all Ruth Heartless can do is twist it into another insult.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“She’s not wrong, Mike. The Rich Athlete turned this from a match into a seminar. Burley got thirty minutes of the best education money can buy, courtesy of the Million Dollar Alliance.”

With that, Ruth dropped the mic at ringside and the pair strutted up the aisle, the Athlete stopping to kiss his reflection in a fan’s mirror sign before disappearing behind the curtain. Burley raised a fist from inside the ring, earning another ovation from the crowd.

Backstage:

Candace Hart stands nervously with microphone in hand outside the Dominion’s locker room. The door swings open and out steps Count Vlad, flanked by The Yeti and a seething Feral, pacing like a caged animal.

Candace Hart:
“Count Vlad, earlier tonight Molly Mason pulled off what some are calling the upset of the year when she defeated Feral. What is your response to that?”

Count Vlad (smiling wickedly):
“My response, Candace? Hahaha… my response is simple. Molly Mason’s ‘victory’ means nothing. Tonight, she survived… but at House of Horrors, she will not. Molly wants to prove she belongs in this ring? Then she can prove it the hard way. On October 31st, Molly Mason versus Feral — Last Woman Standing!”

The crowd inside the arena erupts at the announcement. Feral snarls, slamming her fists into the wall behind Vlad.

Count Vlad (leaning closer to the camera):
“And when it is over, Molly Mason will not walk away. She will crawl, broken, or she will not rise at all. Because in the Dominion… mercy does not exist.”

Vlad laughs as Yeti looms silently, Feral gnashing her teeth. The Dominion storm back into their locker room, leaving Candace shaken.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson (on commentary):
“My God… it’s official! Molly Mason versus Feral, Last Woman Standing, at House of Horrors!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And that’s the end of Molly Mason’s fairy tale, Mike. The Dominion always gets the last word.”

Back at the ring:

The lights in the Columbia Arena dim slightly as “Snake Eyes Shuffle” by Graveyard Saints kicks in. The crowd boos loudly as Matches Malone struts out from the curtain, cigarette dangling from his lips, leather jacket slung over his shoulder. He flicks the unlit cigarette at a fan on the ramp before sliding his sunglasses on and smirking. Malone saunters toward the ring, jawing at the front row.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Here comes Matches Malone, a man who has never met a cheap trick or shortcut he didn’t like. He’s been running his mouth about taking out HCW’s so-called heroes — tonight, he’s stepping into the ring with one of the most dangerous newcomers to the company.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And I love it! Malone plays the game smart. He doesn’t care about being popular, Mike, he cares about winning — and in my book, that makes him a contender.”

Malone climbs the steps slowly, wipes his boots on the apron, and lazily slips into the ring. He poses on the ropes, mocking the crowd with a self-satisfied grin as the boos get louder.

Suddenly, the lights turn a deep ocean blue. A heavy drumbeat rumbles through the speakers as “Island Thunder” by Tribal Storm explodes. The crowd erupts as Tumu “The Island Beast” Vaega storms through the curtain, wearing a Samoan war necklace, his face painted with jagged white streaks. Behind him marches Samoan Stomper Raku, his brother-in-arms of the Samoan Bloodline. Tumu pounds his chest and lets out a primal roar as the crowd chants, “TU-MU! TU-MU!”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Listen to this reaction! Tumu Vaega, the Island Beast, has been tearing through anyone who dares step in his way. With Raku at his side, the Samoan Bloodline has their eyes set on revenge against the Dark Dominion.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Oh, spare me. The Fangs of Despair already proved they own the Bloodline. Tumu can stomp and scream all he wants, but when Dominion comes calling, they’ll cut him down just like everyone else.”

Tumu stomps down the ramp, slapping his chest, then climbs onto the apron in one giant leap. He lets out another roar, shaking the ropes as Malone quickly bails to the outside, claiming he’s “not ready.” Raku circles the ring, keeping an eye on him. The fans chant louder as Tumu stands tall in the ring, ready to fight.

The bell rang and Tumu wasted no time, rocking Malone early with a crushing Super Samoan Splash that nearly ended the match in under a minute.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “My God, Malone barely survived that! The Island Beast is looking to crush him straight away!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “This is the power of Samoa, Mike. Malone better dig deep or he’s gonna be a highlight reel.”

Malone, always the opportunist, tried to slow Tumu down with cheap shots — a rake to the eyes he called “flicking matchsticks,” turnbuckle smashes, and even an early Chokeslam attempt. To his credit, Malone’s resilience gave him moments of control, and each time he landed a strike, he barked at the fans about being the “real main event.”

But the crowd was firmly behind Tumu, erupting every time he exploded with power — Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplexes, flying headbutt drops, and thunderous Superkicks. When Malone managed a near fall off a Chokeslam in the 16th minute, he pounded the mat in frustration as Tumu kicked out with authority.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “Matches Malone throwing everything he’s got, but the Island Beast keeps getting back up!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “Malone’s not used to people surviving his offense. You can see it in his eyes — he doesn’t know what it’ll take to keep this big man down.”

The turning point came when Malone staggered into a second Samoan Spike, his body crumpling to the canvas. Tumu roared to the fans, pointing to the sky, before scaling the ropes. The crowd rose with him, and the ring shook as he came crashing down with the Super Samoan Splash square across Malone’s chest.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “He got all of it! That’s it!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “Count to a hundred — this one’s over.”

1…2…3!

Tumu Vaega stood tall, beating his chest and roaring as the fans erupted. Malone rolled to the floor clutching his ribs, shouting at Honest Abe that it was a “slow count” while the fans drowned him in boos.

Tony Calibur (ring announcer): “Here is your winner… Tumu — THE ISLAND BEAST — Vaega!”

The crowd suddenly erupts in boos as Nightfang and Dr. Red Fang — the Fangs of Despair — sprint down the ramp. Before the referee can react, they pounce on Raku at ringside, double-teaming him with stomps and clubbing blows. Raku tries to fight back, but the numbers overwhelm him. The Fangs slam him into the steel steps with a sickening crash.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Come on! The Fangs of Despair just blindsided Raku — this match isn’t about them!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“It’s always about Dominion, Mike. They play the numbers game better than anyone!”

Inside the ring, Tumu Vaega roars and charges toward the ropes, but Matches Malone clips his knee from behind to keep him grounded. The Fangs slide into the ring, abandoning Raku on the floor, and begin pounding away at Tumu with savage double-team strikes.

The crowd explodes as Raku recovers, clutching his ribs, and rolls back into the ring. He levels Nightfang with a Samoan headbutt, then hurls Dr. Red Fang over the top rope with raw power. Tumu rises back to his feet, roaring, and the Samoan Bloodline stand tall as the Fangs scramble to the outside, regrouping on the floor.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“The Samoan Bloodline won’t be denied! Tumu and Raku just sent the Fangs packing!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Packing for now, Mike! But you know Dominion never backs off for long.”

Post-Match Challenge

Raku grabs a microphone, breathing heavy, fury in his eyes.

Raku:
“Fangs of Despair! You want a fight? Then meet us at House of Horrors — Samoan Bloodline against the Fangs of Despair in a Samoan Strap Match!”

The fans cheer wildly. Suddenly, the lights flicker blood red and Count Vlad appears on the stage, applauding mockingly with a microphone in hand.

Count Vlad (smiling coldly):
“Ahhh, how brave… how foolish. The Samoan Bloodline challenging the Fangs of Despair! Very well, we accept… but understand this: the Heritage Tag Team Championships will not be on the line. Dominion does not risk its gold for savages like you.”

The crowd boos thunderously as Vlad smirks.

Raku (shouting back):
“Fine! Forget your titles. This is about pride, family, and payback! House of Horrors — we’ll see you there!”

The crowd roars as Tumu pounds his chest and Raku points toward Vlad and the Fangs. The Dominion retreat backstage, leaving the Samoan Bloodline standing tall in the ring as their music hits.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“It’s official — Samoan Bloodline versus the Fangs of Despair in a Samoan Strap Match at House of Horrors!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And Vlad’s right, Mike — no titles on the line. Dominion keeps the gold safe, but the Bloodline may not even survive the straps!”

The lights dim as “Hard Truth” by Iron Gospel hits. The Omegatron flashes: THE TRUTH HURTS. The crowd groans as Truth Wayne struts out in a shimmering snakeskin blazer, oversized shades, and his trademark smirk. He points to himself with both thumbs, soaking in the boos as he enters the ring, where two chairs and a low table are set up.

Truth Wayne:
“Columbia, South Carolina! Welcome to The Truth Hurts! The only segment where the lights shine brighter, the words sting sharper, and the truth… hurts worse than a loaded glove to the jaw!”

He laughs at his own line as the crowd boos louder.

Truth Wayne:
“Now tonight, my guests aren’t the Dark Dominion — oh no. Tonight I’ve got two sweet little lambs on the chopping block. Two sisters who believe love, unity, and family can overcome chains and darkness. Please welcome… Ruby and Scarlett Howl!”

The crowd cheers as “Wolfheart Rising” by Midnight Pines hits. Ruby and Scarlett Howl stride down the ramp in matching red-and-black gear, fiery determination in their eyes. They slap hands with fans and quickly enter the ring, taking their seats across from Truth. Scarlett leans forward, mic in hand, while Ruby crosses her arms, glaring at Truth.

Scarlett Howl:
“You can sit there and laugh all you want, Truth. But on October 18th, we’re going to prove that family isn’t weakness — it’s strength. Mina Harker, Korbi Kong, they think they can outnumber us, but the Howl sisters don’t back down.”

Ruby Howl:
“They don’t scare us. The Dominion doesn’t scare us. And if Mina and Korbi want to bring their little witches to the fight, then we’ll bring backup of our own. They aren’t the only ones with allies.”

The fans pop big at the tease. Truth smirks and leans back casually.

Truth Wayne:
“Oh, that’s adorable. But let’s get real. Mina Harker? Korbi Kong? They’re killers. You two? You’re puppies. Sweet, loyal, and destined to get mauled. My advice? Even if you get invited to Convergence, stay at home.  Save yourselves the humiliation.”

Before the Howls can answer, the arena lights cut out. A chilling scream echoes, followed by the pounding drums of “Crimson Pact” by Daughters of the Eclipse. When the lights snap back, Mina Harker and Korbi Kong are storming the ring, Grizelda close behind. They charge in and immediately ambush the Howls — fists, kicks, and chains in hand. The crowd erupts in boos.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson (on commentary):
“Damn it, I knew this would happen! Mina and Korbi couldn’t let the Howls have their say!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Smart play, Mike. Never give your enemies the microphone — give them pain instead!”

The Dominion trio beat down Scarlett and Ruby until the sisters start fighting back. Ruby smashes Grizelda with a clothesline, Scarlett nails Korbi with a running knee, and the Howls clear the ring to a massive ovation. Mina pulls Korbi and Grizelda back up the ramp, shrieking at the Howls while pointing to her wrist as if “time is running out.”

Scarlett Howl (yelling into the mic):
“You want to bring your lackeys? Fine! Because the Howls will be ready… and we won’t be alone!”

The crowd erupts as the Howls stand tall in the ring, daring the Dominion to return. Truth Wayne, who stayed in his chair the whole time, calmly claps his hands and smirks as if proud of the chaos he facilitated.

Truth Wayne:
“And that, my friends… is the truth.”

The arena goes dark as flames flicker across the Omegatron. “Burn It Down” by Hot Stuff Inc. blasts through the Columbia Arena. Out strides Nico “The Inferno” Burnett, his gear gleaming red and orange like molten steel. At his side is his manager, the slick and conniving Julian Furnace, who points toward the ring and shouts at the booing crowd.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Here comes Nico ‘The Inferno’ Burnett, one-third of Hot Stuff Inc., led of course by their ever-scheming manager Julian Furnace. Johnny, Furnace never comes alone — and you know he’s always got a plan.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“You better believe it! Nico Burnett is a rising star, and with Julian Furnace at ringside, he’s got brains backing up the firepower. This could be a career-making win if he can take down Zack Brown.”

Nico smirks at the camera, tracing a fiery path with his finger across his chest, before sliding into the ring. Furnace follows, holding the ropes and clapping proudly for his man. Nico poses with arms outstretched as bursts of flame pyro erupt from the corners.

The music shifts. “Shockwave Protocol” by Iron Honor Division hits and the fans leap to their feet. Zack “Commando” Brown storms out from the back, focused and intense, slapping hands with fans as he makes his way down the aisle. He stops midway down the ramp, glaring into the ring at Nico and Furnace, before pounding his chest and shouting to the crowd.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Listen to this ovation! Zack Brown has had a target painted on his back by the Wicked Prophet, by Mean Jack Mason, by the Dark Dominion itself — but tonight, he’s focused on shutting down Julian Furnace’s newest prodigy!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Oh, give me a break. Zack’s walking into Furnace’s trap, and when the smoke clears, it’s the Commando who’ll be scorched!”

Zack slides into the ring, rising quickly to his feet as Nico retreats to the corner, Furnace barking orders. The referee signals for the bell as the Columbia crowd chants “LET’S GO ZACK!”

The crowd erupted as Zack “Commando” Brown marched to the ring, his no-nonsense demeanor radiating intensity. Julian Furnace introduced Nico “the Inferno” Burnett with his usual smug arrogance, pointing at Zack and yelling about how HCW was going to “burn down” under their fire.

The bell rang, and Zack immediately dropped Nico with a thunderous Bossman Slam, drawing a roar from the fans. Burnett tried to keep pace with quick offense, answering with a flurry of armdrags that briefly grounded the Commando.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “Nico trying to outmaneuver the powerhouse, but Zack’s got too much muscle to stay down long!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “Yeah, but don’t count out Julian Furnace at ringside. If he sees an opening, he’s gonna use it.”

Zack’s sheer strength began to dominate the bout, rattling Burnett with a Powerbomb and the crushing Paratrooper Plunge. Still, the Inferno showed flashes of resilience, even catching Zack with a piledriver that nearly spelled disaster, forcing Honest Abe into a two-count that had fans gasping.

But Zack wasn’t staying down. He exploded back with another Bossman Slam, sending Nico sprawling. Furnace pounded the mat in frustration, screaming for his man to rise. Zack, stone-faced, stalked the Inferno, waited for the opening, and when Nico tried another eye rake, the Commando reversed into one last Bossman Slam that shook the canvas.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “Commando Slam! This one’s over!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “Count it! Zack just shut down the Inferno!”

1…2…3!

The bell rang and the fans leapt to their feet as Zack stood tall, raising his fist while Furnace dragged Nico to safety outside the ring.

Tony Calibur (ring announcer): “Here is your winner… Zack — ‘THE COMMANDO’ — Brown!”

Zack pointed toward the cameras, mouthing “House of Horrors” as the crowd erupted, a clear signal aimed at the Wicked Prophet.

Backstage Interview #1 – Larry Morton with Dirty Dick Albano & Pierre Boulay

Larry Morton:
“Fans, my guests at this time are Dirty Dick Albano and his manager, Pierre Boulay. Tonight, Dirty Dick, you step into the main event against the HCW World Champion, Jack ‘Timberfang’ Lumber. Pierre, what’s the strategy heading into this title bout?”

Pierre Boulay (smirking):
“Strategy? Ha! Larry, when you’ve got an Albano, you don’t need strategy. You’ve got bloodline superiority. Tonight, Dirty Dick doesn’t just wrestle Jack Lumber — he humiliates him. And when this New Sicilian is done, Jack Lumber won’t even be fit to lace his boots and the World Title comes home with us.”

Dirty Dick Albano (grabbing mic, snarling):
“Jack, you think you’re some kind of lumberjack hero? You’re nothin’ but a big dummy who got lucky with the Dark Dominion behind ya. Tonight, I beat you in the middle of that ring, take your title, and after I’m done, the Albano name is gonna shine brighter than yours ever did. You got that, chump?”

Dick spits off to the side as Pierre pats him on the shoulder. Larry Morton looks unsettled as the camera fades.

Backstage Interview #2 – Candace Hart with Jack Lumber & Count Vlad

The shot switches to another part of the backstage area where Candace Hart stands with microphone in hand. Next to her is the towering Jack ‘Timberfang’ Lumber, his arms crossed, and standing smugly at his side, in a sharp black suit with crimson tie, is Count Vlad.

Candace Hart:
“Jack, Count Vlad — in just moments, you step into the ring to defend the World Title against Dirty Dick Albano. Vlad, what are your thoughts going into this match?”

Count Vlad (smiling wickedly):
“My thoughts, Candace? That Dick Albano is not worthy of sharing a ring with Jack Timberfang Lumber, my World Champion. But let him come. Let him fight. Because every challenger that steps forward only proves the Dominion’s dominance. And tonight, Dick will not just lose… he will be broken.  His dreams of being the World Champion fade into nothingness.”

Jack Lumber (leaning in, voice low and serious):
“Dirty Dick Albano wants to talk about bloodlines? About family? Well, I don’t need family — I’ve got the Dominion. And tonight, when I drop him like a tree in the forest, maybe the rest of those Albanos will think twice before crossing me.”

Candace Hart nods nervously as Vlad smirks and Jack adjusts his wrist tape. The two walk off camera toward the gorilla position.

The camera cuts back to ringside. The Columbia crowd is buzzing after the back-to-back interviews.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Fans, you just heard it — Dirty Dick Albano and Pierre Boulay promising humiliation, Jack Lumber and Count Vlad promising dominance. And it all comes down to our main event right here tonight on Live Wire.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Dominion versus the Albano family, Mike — this is what power struggles look like! Pierre Boulay is as conniving as they come, and if Dirty Dick can dethrone the World Champion tonight to win the title, the whole landscape shifts.”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“And don’t forget, it’s not just about tonight. We’re weeks away from House of Horrors on October 31st, where every match will be contested under brutal specialty rules. But first, Jack has to deal with one dangerous Albano nephew.”

“Made Men” by Concrete Mafia hits as the crowd erupts in boos. Dirty Dick Albano stomps out of the curtain, rolling his shoulders, chewing a toothpick, and sneering at the fans. Beside him, Pierre Boulay struts confidently, barking orders and pointing toward the ring. Dick cracks his neck and shouts insults at fans holding “TIMBERFANG COUNTRY” signs.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Dirty Dick Albano is as vicious as they come, Johnny, and with Pierre Boulay whispering in his ear, you can bet there will be no shortage of underhanded tactics in this match.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Underhanded? No, no, Mike — that’s called being smart. Dick’s got brains, brawn, and Boulay. That’s a winning combo.”

Dick climbs onto the apron, spits his toothpick into the crowd, then ducks between the ropes. Pierre holds the ropes open for him like he’s a made man walking into his turf.

The arena plunges into darkness. A deep rumble shakes the speakers as crimson lights wash over the Columbia Arena. “Dominion Rising” by Blood Choir blasts as the boos pour in. Out steps Count Vlad, smiling coldly, gesturing to the curtain. From behind him emerges the towering Jack “Timberfang” Lumber, the HCW World Championship draped proudly over his shoulder. Jack scans the crowd, expression grim, while Vlad claps slowly, savoring every ounce of heat from the fans.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“There he is — Jack ‘Timberfang’ Lumber, the HCW World Champion, and a man who has aligned himself fully with the Dark Dominion. He’s as dangerous as ever under the tutelage of Count Vlad.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And why wouldn’t he be, Mike? Look at the results! Dominion has the gold, Dominion has the power. Jack Lumber is proof that when you walk with Vlad, you walk with destiny.”

Jack marches to the ring, climbs the steel steps, and enters slowly, locking eyes with Dick across the canvas. Vlad takes his place at ringside, smirking, while Pierre Boulay barks at the referee to “call it down the middle.”

Tony Calibur (ring announcer):
“Ladies and gentlemen, this is your HCW Live Wire main event! Introducing first, accompanied by Pierre Boulay… from Brooklyn, New York… weighing in at 260 pounds…
Dirty Dick Albano!”

The crowd boos heavily as Dick raises his arms cockily, pointing at his chest and yelling, “Made man!”

Tony Calibur:
“And his opponent — accompanied by Count Vlad… from the lumber camps of the great north woods… weighing in at 275 pounds… he is the HCW World Heavyweight Champion…
Jack ‘Timberfang’ Lumber!”

The crowd erupts in boos as Jack raises the World Title high. Vlad applauds at ringside, while Dick paces furiously in his corner, spitting insults toward Jack.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“The table is set — Albano versus Lumber, Dominion versus the family of Lou Albano! This one’s going to be a fight, not a wrestling match.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And that’s the truth, Mike. This is gonna be ugly. This is gonna be violent. And I wouldn’t have it any other way!”

The referee signals for the bell as the crowd buzzes with anticipation.

The match exploded from the opening bell. Lumber bulldozed Dick with a Yukon Bodyslam and Atomic Drop, sending him scrambling. Dick clawed his way back with a series of chokes and eye gouges, grinding the pace down, but Jack shook him off and powered him into the mat again.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “Jack Lumber looks like a runaway freight train out there—every move he hits rattles the boards!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “But don’t underestimate Dirty Dick, Mike. The Albanos are survivors. With Boulay barking orders at ringside, you know they’ll find a way to bend the rules.”

The action spilled briefly outside, where Dick slammed Jack’s head into the post before rolling him back in. Boulay screamed at referee Honest Abe to “count faster,” while Vlad stood eerily calm, only tilting his head like a predator waiting for the right strike.

Back inside, Dick nearly stole the match with a mounted punch sequence and a rising knee strike, leaving Jack gasping for breath. He tried for the cover — 1…2… — but Jack muscled out with authority.

The momentum swung back and forth. Jack nailed a stiff uppercut that floored Dick, then hoisted him for another Yukon Bodyslam, only for Boulay to yank Dick’s boot onto the bottom rope to break the count. The crowd booed viciously.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “Boulay just saved his man, and the referee didn’t see a thing!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “That’s veteran management, Mike. That’s why the Albanos pay Pierre the big bucks.”

As the match raged on, the inevitable confrontation between the managers boiled over. Boulay jumped onto the apron, yelling at Vlad and pointing a finger in his face. Vlad, calm as ever, slowly reached into his coat and with one chilling exhale sprayed a mysterious crimson mist into Boulay’s eyes! Pierre shrieked, clawing at his face, stumbling off the apron and collapsing against the barricade.

The crowd exploded. Dick, wide-eyed, turned just in time to see his manager writhing on the floor. He shouted down at Vlad, rage and disbelief on his face.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “What in the world did we just see?! Did Vlad just blind Pierre Boulay?!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “That’s… that’s unholy, Mike. But Dick better turn around—he’s in deep trouble!”

Sure enough, Dick spun back toward the ring just as Jack measured him. With the fans on their feet, Jack let out a guttural roar, scooped Albano high, and drove him into the canvas with the devastating TIMMMMBBERRRR.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “TIMMMMBBERRRR! The ring shook! Dick Albano is down!”

Jack hooked the leg.

1…2…3!

The bell rang, and the roof nearly came off the arena.

Tony Calibur: “Here is your winner… JACK — TIMMMMBERRRR — LUMBER!”

The closing scene was chaos. Jack stood tall over Dick, flexing his massive arms, while Vlad raised his protégé’s hand with sinister delight. At ringside, officials tended to Pierre Boulay, still coughing and flailing from the unknown mist. The Dominion’s power play had left another man broken, another faction humiliated.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “Jack Lumber victorious, but this wasn’t just a match. This was a message from the Dark Dominion—loud and clear.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “They’re not just beating opponents anymore, Mike. They’re dismantling entire families. Who’s going to stop them?”

As the dust settled from the main event, the cameras lingered on Jack Lumber and Count Vlad in the center of the ring. Vlad, still grinning after his mist attack on Pierre Boulay, signaled for a microphone.

Count Vlad (measured, chilling):
“Another body falls. Another family broken. And still, the world asks… who will stop the Dark Dominion?”

The crowd booed, but Jack Lumber raised his massive arms and let out a guttural “TIMMMMMBERRRR!” to drown them out. Vlad continued, pacing like a puppeteer in control of every string.

Count Vlad:
“At House of Horrors, the doors of destiny will slam shut on all who oppose us. The Samoan Bloodline thinks they want war? They will have it. Molly Mason dares to challenge the beast Feral? She will be crushed. And every champion in this ring of so-called Heritage… belongs to ME.”

Suddenly, Feral and the Yeti emerged on the stage, snarling and pounding their chests, flanking Vlad’s words with raw menace. The Dominion’s wall of power was undeniable.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“My God, Johnny… they’re making it clear—House of Horrors is going to be a slaughterhouse!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Mike, I don’t like it, but I believe Vlad when he says it. Every single match they touch ends with pain, domination, and fear. House of Horrors might not just be a name—it could be the end of Heritage itself.”

The camera cut to the bloody, beaten Dirty Dick Albano being dragged from ringside by medical staff, Pierre Boulay still clutching his mist-covered face. Then back to the ring, where Vlad raised his arms skyward, Feral let out a feral shriek, and Yeti pounded his chest like a war drum.

Count Vlad:
“House of Horrors… is the Dominion’s domain!”

The arena lights flickered red and black, the Dominion’s sigil flashing across the Omegatron as the show closed on their chilling pose.

Much more to come so stay tuned.
