[The Columbia arena lights dim, then explode with pyros in red and gold as the HCW Voltage logo flashes across the Omegatron. The crowd roars, waving homemade signs: “Justice for the Freedom Fighters!” “Fear the Fang!” “Ruby Runs Wild!”]

Sam Duffy:
“Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter — you’re tuned in to HCW Voltage! I’m Sam Duffy alongside Rick Granger, and tonight we’ve got one heck of a card lined up!”

Rick Granger:
“Oh, absolutely, Sam! Five big matches, including a United States Championship defense by Wilber ‘TerrorFang’ Townsend — the pride and menace of the Dark Dominion — against the toughest brawler to crawl out of the steel yards, Bruiser McPugg. And let me tell you, McPugg might be walking into a slaughterhouse tonight.”

Sam Duffy:
“And before we get there, we’ve got a rematch months in the making — the Samoan Bloodline and the Freedom Fighters! Their last meeting ended in a time limit draw, but tonight, one team looks to settle the score. Plus, Ruby Howl tangles with Leepurty Belle, with plenty of Iron Maidens Tag Team Tournament implications!”

Rick Granger (chuckling):
“And don’t forget, Sam, Ivan Dragovich is opening this show — and when Dragovich opens a night, someone usually leaves the ring with bruises they’ll be feeling for weeks. Sorry, Tony Ricca, but this isn’t going to be your fairy tale.”

Sam Duffy:
“Let’s not waste another moment — we’re kicking things off with Tony Ricca against Ivan Dragovich!”

[The lights shift to the entrance ramp as Tony Ricca’s theme blasts through the speakers, the crowd rallying behind him as he marches to the ring.]

[The house lights dim, a low rumble echoing through the Columbia arena. The Omegatron flashes grainy footage of cold steel factories and empty streets. A harsh siren wails, and Ivan Dragovich emerges from the curtain in his long black coat, his eyes narrowed and unblinking. The crowd greets him with heavy boos, but he doesn’t acknowledge them — he marches methodically to the ring, every step deliberate, every movement predatory. He climbs the apron, wipes his boots, and enters the ring, standing motionless in the corner like a looming executioner.]

Rick Granger:
“Look at Dragovich, Sam — not a hint of hesitation. That’s a man who’s come to break bones, and if it’s Tony Ricca’s night to be sacrificed, so be it.”

[The lights shift to gold, and a driving Italian-inspired rock anthem kicks in. Tony Ricca bursts through the curtain, pumping his fists and rallying the crowd. He slaps hands with fans along the aisle, flashing that proud grin, before storming down the ramp. Ricca slides under the ropes, popping to his feet, and raises his arms high to a chorus of cheers. He points directly at Dragovich, shouting for him to bring the fight.]

Sam Duffy:
“Tony Ricca is pure blue-collar grit! He’s not flashy, he’s not complicated, but he’s tough as nails and he’s got these fans fired up here tonight!”

Rick Granger (snorting):
“Yeah, well, all the grit in the world won’t save you from Dragovich’s fists, Sam.”

[The referee signals for the bell as the two square up, the crowd buzzing in anticipation.]

The bell rang, and Dragovich wasted no time imposing his will. He plowed through Ricca with a running body block that sent the fan favorite sprawling across the canvas. Ricca tried to shake it off, but Dragovich stayed on him, rattling his jaw with a spinning heel kick that had the crowd gasping.

Rick Granger:
“This is Dragovich at his finest — cold, efficient, and absolutely ruthless!”

Ricca’s grit began to show in the third minute. While Dragovich delivered a release German suplex, Ricca absorbed it and fired back with an atomic drop, stunning the Russian brute long enough to earn a cheer from the fans. Ricca hit another atomic drop moments later, stringing together short bursts of offense that had the crowd stomping in rhythm.

But Dragovich knew how to sap a man’s fire. He muscled Ricca into a fallaway slam, then planted him with a swinging side slam that nearly ended it. He hooked the leg — one, two — but Ricca powered out to a thunderous reaction. Dragovich dragged him up again, punishing him with clubbing forearms, and went for another cover after a Samoan Drop. One, two — Ricca kicked out again!

Sam Duffy:
“Tony Ricca refuses to stay down! This man is fighting with every ounce of heart he has!”

The match shifted again around the twelfth minute. Ricca dug deep, planting Dragovich with his Cannoli Powerslam, and later followed with a series of forearm smashes that had Dragovich wobbling for the first time. The crowd exploded as Ricca lifted Dragovich into a vertical suplex, holding him high before crashing him to the mat. He covered — one, two — Dragovich shoved out at the last instant.

Frustrated but undeterred, Ricca stayed on him, landing another Powerslam and even a legdrop, but Dragovich absorbed the punishment like a machine. By the fifteenth minute, both men were throwing bombs — Ricca’s fists and forearms against Dragovich’s heavy slams and kicks.

Dragovich began to systematically dismantle Ricca down the stretch. He hit another crushing Samoan Drop, hooked the leg, one, two — Ricca barely rolled a shoulder. Another side slam followed, again drawing a two-count. Dragovich grew visibly frustrated, stomping on Ricca and barking at “Honest” Abe to count faster.

Rick Granger:
“This referee’s arm must be broken — nobody kicks out of this much punishment!”

Finally, Dragovich whipped Ricca into the ropes, flattened him with a running body block, and hoisted him up into the Accolade Clutch. Ricca struggled desperately, clawing at Dragovich’s arms, but the Russian brute sat back with all his weight. Ricca thrashed, then slowly fell still as “Honest” Abe dropped to count. One, two, three.

Winner: Ivan Dragovich (via pinfall, The Accolade Clutch)

Dragovich released the hold only when the bell rang, standing tall over Ricca’s battered body. He didn’t gloat or play to the crowd — he simply stared down at his fallen opponent with cold disdain before turning on his heel and leaving the ring.

Sam Duffy:
“Tony Ricca gave Dragovich everything he had, but the brute force of Ivan Dragovich was simply too much tonight.”

Rick Granger (smirking):
“Lesson learned, Sam — heart doesn’t win against ice-cold power.”

[The fans booed as Dragovich disappeared through the curtain, while medics checked on Ricca, who sat up to appreciative applause from the Columbia faithful.]

Sam Duffy:
“Fans, before we move forward, HCW cameras captured this exclusive footage last night after Live Wire went off the air. Count Vlad and the NightStalkers demanded to address Ashen Vicar’s shocking disruption. Let’s take a look.”

[Cut to taped footage] Backstage Segment – Count Vlad Responds to Ashen Vicar

The camera cuts to the Dominion’s private chamber. The NightStalkers, Shadowfang and Bloodfang, pace angrily, still rubbing their eyes from the blinding white flash. Count Vlad stands at the forefront, cane in hand, his voice cold but rising with venom.

Count Vlad:
“So… the White Flame thinks himself clever. He dares to blind my soldiers, to humiliate the Dark Dominion in front of the world. Ashen Vicar, you call yourself a master of fire, a purifier of heresy. But understand this — fire burns quick, it flickers, it fades. Darkness… darkness is eternal.”

He slams the cane against the stone floor, making Shadowfang and Bloodfang freeze in attention.

Count Vlad:
“You are no longer an amusement, no longer a sideshow curiosity with your cryptic words and parlor tricks. Now, you are an infection — and infections must be cut out, bled dry, and destroyed. The NightStalkers will be your plague, your judgment, your executioners. And I… I will savor watching your so-called flame extinguished under the boot of the Dominion.”

Vlad steps closer to the camera, his voice dropping into a venomous hiss.

Count Vlad:
“You call yourself the Master of the White Flame. Soon, you will kneel before the Masters of Eternal Night.”

The camera fades out on Vlad’s cruel smile while the NightStalkers stand behind him, snarling like caged animals.

[Back to arena commentary]

Rick Granger:
“And that, Sam, is why you don’t poke the Dominion with a stick. Ashen Vicar just made himself the hunted.”

Sam Duffy:
“You can feel the venom in Vlad’s words. Ashen Vicar’s fight against the Dominion isn’t just symbolic anymore — it’s personal, and it’s dangerous.”

[The arena darkens to a faint blue hue. A single spotlight shines down as the sound of an arrow being loosed cuts through the speakers. Kellyn “The Raven Archer” Chrisari emerges, bow in hand, scanning the crowd like a hawk. He raises the bow high as a raven’s caw echoes through the sound system. The fans respond with cheers as Kellyn makes his way down the ramp, methodical but focused, pointing to the ring as if it were his target. Sliding under the bottom rope, he climbs the turnbuckle and raises his arms, eyes locked on the entranceway, awaiting his opponent.]

Sam Duffy:
“Kellyn Chrisari is one of the most resilient young stars in HCW today, Rick. He’s got precision, he’s got speed, and tonight he’s looking to take down a member of one of the most notorious families in wrestling.”

Rick Granger:
“Yeah, well, precision and speed don’t mean much when you’re facing an Albano. Sal’s got wrestling in his blood — and Kellyn’s about to find out what that means the hard way.”

[The lights flare red and green as a loud, brash accordion-driven theme blares through the arena. Sal Albano struts out from the curtain, oozing arrogance, flanked by jeers from the crowd. He adjusts his tracksuit jacket, smirks at ringside fans, and loudly cracks his knuckles as he makes his way down with his manager Pierre Boulay at his side. At the bottom of the ramp, he yells something in Italian toward Kellyn, then climbs the steel steps with deliberate cockiness. Entering the ring, he motions around his waist, taunting Kellyn that the Albanos are destined for gold. The boos rain down, but Sal just laughs and leans in his corner, ready to strike.]

Sam Duffy:
“Sal Albano is as brash as they come, and he doesn’t care what anyone thinks of him — all he cares about is putting another win in the Albano family ledger.”

Rick Granger:
“Exactly. And Kellyn better not get caught slipping, or this is going to be over faster than one of his little arrows can fly.”

The crowd was fired up as both men squared off, and Kellyn came out of the gate quick, springing off the ropes with a Quiver Dropkick that rattled Sal Albano. But the swaggering nephew of Lou answered back immediately with a jarring atomic drop, showing that the Albano clan always has a counterpunch.

Sam Duffy:
“Kellyn’s lightning quick, but Sal Albano’s got that family toughness running through his veins!”

The two went strike for strike in the second minute, Kellyn drilling Sal with the Eagle’s Talon Slam, only for Albano to shake it off and hammer Kellyn with a flurry of forearms. The crowd leaned into every exchange as the match see-sawed early.

By the third minute, Sal slowed the pace, clamping down on Kellyn with a crushing bearhug, trying to squeeze the fight right out of him. Kellyn grimaced, the pain etched across his face, but he refused to give up. He rallied with a sharp Raven’s Wing Chop that echoed through the arena, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

Rick Granger:
“Listen to these people — you’d think Kellyn invented hitting someone in the chest! The Albanos aren’t impressed, Sam.”

Kellyn’s speed came alive again with another perfectly timed Quiver Dropkick, knocking Sal off balance. But Albano, ever the brawler, raked his boot across Kellyn’s throat in the corner, choking him down while the referee counted, drawing loud boos from the crowd.

The sixth minute proved decisive. Kellyn landed yet another dropkick, his third of the match, staggering Albano badly. But as Kellyn charged again, Sal muscled him up and delivered a thunderous powerslam that shook the ring. Sal hooked the leg — one, two, three — and it was over.

Rick Granger:
“Ha! Just like that, Sam! You can hit a dozen fancy dropkicks, but one Albano slam and you’re done!”

Sam Duffy:
“Kellyn Chrisari put up a valiant fight, but the raw power and underhanded tactics of Sal Albano proved too much tonight.”

Winner: Sal Albano (via pinfall, Powerslam)

[Sal rolled to his feet, pounding his chest and yelling in Italian as the boos poured down as Pierre joined him in the ring raising his arm in victory. Kellyn sat up slowly, holding his back, as the crowd applauded his effort. Albano continued to showboat with a smug grin before strutting out of the ring, basking in the hatred like it was fuel. Pierre laughed at Kellyn all the way to the back.]

[The arena goes dark for a moment before a pulsing drumbeat kicks in, heavy and thunderous, echoing through the speakers. Spotlights streak across the stage in red, white, and blue as the Freedom Fighters storm out, faces painted, muscles flexing, their energy electric. Freedom Fighter Flash slaps his chest, while Freedom Fighter Justice points to the crowd, both men rallying the fans with their defiant charisma. The Columbia crowd roars as they march down the aisle, high-fiving fans, and sliding into the ring in unison. They climb the ropes, fists raised, a salute to their supporters as chants of “FREE-DOM! FREE-DOM!” ripple through the arena.]

Sam Duffy:
“Listen to this crowd! The Freedom Fighters are here, and they want to settle unfinished business with the Samoan Bloodline tonight!”

Rick Granger:
“Settle business? Sam, the last time these two teams met it ended in a time-limit draw. That’s not unfinished business — that’s a warning shot. Neither of these teams wants to give an inch.”

[The cheers turn to a respectful buzz as the lights dim again, this time glowing with a deep orange hue. The sound of tribal war drums builds, faster and faster, before the curtain parts and the Samoan Bloodline step onto the stage. Dressed in traditional necklaces and adorned with tribal face paint, the team stands tall and proud. They slap their chests in rhythm with the drums before storming down the ramp, eyes locked on the ring. At ringside, they let out a primal roar before climbing onto the apron and stepping through the ropes, facing down the Freedom Fighters without breaking eye contact. The crowd reacts with loud anticipation, the tension between the two teams palpable.]

Sam Duffy:
“You can feel it, Rick — this isn’t about good guys and bad guys. This is about pride, about proving who’s the stronger team!”

Rick Granger:
“And that’s why I love it, Sam. No excuses, no shortcuts — just two teams ready to beat each other down until somebody finally claims the upper hand.”

[Referee “Honest” Abe stands between the two teams, holding his arms out to keep order as the crowd buzzes with anticipation. The bell is moments away.]

The Columbia crowd buzzed as two proud teams squared off for the second time, the rematch to their time-limit draw. Right out of the gate, Freedom Fighter Flash stunned the fans by landing a spectacular 630 Senton Bomb on Raku, nearly stealing the match in the opening minute. The crowd exploded as Flash hooked the leg, but Raku just managed to kick out at one.

Sam Duffy:
“Flash nearly ended it before it even began!”

Raku shook it off and tagged in the massive Tumu “The Island Beast” Vaega, who wasted no time crushing Flash with a devastating Super Samoan Splash. Flash kicked out at two, but the momentum shifted quickly as the Bloodline began cutting the ring in half.

The next several minutes were a war of styles — Flash’s speed and aerials versus Raku’s brute force and headbutts. At one point, Flash countered with a slick over-the-shoulder neckbreaker drop, earning another close near fall before tagging out to Freedom Fighter Justice. Justice lit up the crowd with a high-flying body press, but the Bloodline smothered him in the corner, tagging in and out to keep themselves fresh.

The match turned rough in the eighth minute, when Raku rammed Justice’s face into the steel post, grinding him mercilessly while “Honest” Abe shouted warnings. The fans booed, but the Bloodline didn’t care — they smelled weakness. From there, Raku and Tumu used quick tags and double-teams to punish Justice: belly-to-belly suplexes, stomps, and suffocating chokeholds against the ropes.

Rick Granger:
“This is the difference between justice and survival, Sam. The Bloodline aren’t trying to win pretty — they’re trying to win by any means necessary!”

Justice refused to stay down. Even while being mauled two-on-one, he managed to fire back with a flying dropkick that staggered both Samoans and brought the crowd back to life. Still, Tumu nearly put him away with a crushing clothesline, only for Justice to kick out at two and desperately tag Flash.

The Freedom Fighters rallied late, Flash landing another big knee strike and tagging Justice right back in for a final push. But in the closing moments, Tumu caught Justice on the outside with a brutal running shoulder block, sending him crashing to the arena floor. Justice tried to get back up as “Honest” Abe counted, but the Island Beast stood over him like a wall. Justice couldn’t beat the ten-count, and the bell rang.

Winner: The Samoan Bloodline (via count-out, Running Shoulder Block on the floor)

Sam Duffy:
“Oh, come on! After a match like this, to have it end in a count-out? That’s no way to settle the score!”

Rick Granger:
“Are you kidding? That’s exactly how you settle the score, Sam! The Samoan Bloodline just proved they’ll do whatever it takes to win, and tonight, they walk out ahead.”

The Samoan Bloodline stood tall in the ring, raising their arms with pride, while the Freedom Fighters argued with the referee on the outside. The fans cheered both teams for their intensity, but the ending left a sour taste — unfinished business still lingers between these two proud squads.  The series tied at one win for each.

Backstage Segment – Leepurty Belle Promo / Scarlett Howl Interruption

Candace Hart:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with one-half of the All American Sweethearts — Leepurty Belle. Tonight, she steps into the ring against Ruby Howl, but she wanted to address the fans before the match.”

[Leepurty Belle steps in, draped in red, white, and blue with a smug grin. She adjusts her hair, stares down the camera, and delivers her words with theatrical arrogance.]

Leepurty Belle:
“America, you’re welcome. You’re welcome for the honor of seeing true class, true beauty, and true patriotism represented in this company. Ruby Howl? She’s nothing but a wild mutt — scratching and clawing for scraps of attention. The Iron Maidens Tag Team Tournament is no place for strays. No, no… it’s reserved for stars. And honey, stars wear stripes.”

[She smirks and points at her sparkling flag-themed attire. Just as she starts to continue, the crowd pops as Scarlett Howl storms into frame, face-to-face with Belle.]

Scarlett Howl:
“You want to talk about scraps? The only thing you’re fit to chew on is your own words. You call Ruby a stray? Try saying it to her face out there in the ring — she’ll show you just how much fight the Howls have in them.”

[Belle smirks, not backing down. Suddenly, Ainsley America rushes into frame, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Belle. The All American Sweethearts smirk in unison as the tension boils over. Scarlett shoves Belle, Ashley yanks Scarlett’s arm, and the three women explode into a brief brawl. Referees and producers rush in to separate them, pulling the Sweethearts back while Scarlett shouts over the commotion.]

Scarlett Howl (yelling):
“You want the spotlight? You’ll get it — when the Howls tear you down in the IMTTT!”

Leepurty Belle (smirking as she’s pulled away):
“Better bring a leash, sweetheart!”

[The Sweethearts are dragged off still laughing, while Scarlett paces with fury, and Ruby steps into frame next to her sister, calming her down before heading to the ring for her match.]

[House lights dip to a cool violet. A lone wolf howl echoes through the arena, then drums kick in. Ruby Howl bursts from the curtain, intense and laser-focused after the backstage dust-up. She power-walks to the ring, slapping a few outstretched hands, then slides under the bottom rope and pops to her feet, bouncing on her toes and staring straight up the aisle.]

Sam Duffy:
“Ruby Howl is fired up, and after what we saw backstage, you can’t blame her.”

Rick Granger:
“Fired up is cute, Sam. Winning is better.”

[The music flips to blaring brass and drumline snare. Red-white-and-blue spotlights sweep the crowd as Leepurty Belle appears, chin high, dripping pageant-queen smug. She mock-salutes, twirls, and points at Ruby with a condescending grin before sauntering down the ramp. At ringside, she steps onto the apron, wipes her boots with exaggerated ceremony, and glides through the ropes. Belle poses with a hand over her heart, then smirks at Ruby like she’s already won.]

Sam Duffy:
“Belle’s got the swagger tonight, but she may have poked the wrong wolf.”

Rick Granger:
“She poked a mutt with manners, Sam. That’s strategy.”

Match #4:  Ruby Howl vs Leepurty Belle

The bad blood from backstage carried into the ring right away. Ruby charged in, but Belle caught her with the flashy Kiss of Liberty spinning heel kick. Ruby reeled, but answered back with an Inverted Cloverleaf that had the Columbia fans howling in support.

Sam Duffy:
“Belle came in overconfident, and Ruby’s turning that energy right back on her!”

Rick Granger:
“Yeah, but the Kiss of Liberty just rocked her jaw, Sam. Don’t pretend Ruby’s walking away clean.”

The second minute saw the pace explode — Ruby nailed a step-up enzuigiri, only to be whipped over by Belle’s polished Pageant Plex. Belle bridged into the pin and came within a heartbeat of victory, Ruby kicking out at two as the crowd rallied.

Ruby fought her way back with another Inverted Cloverleaf, wrenching Belle’s legs and forcing her to crawl desperately toward the ropes. Belle kicked free and cracked Ruby again with the Kiss of Liberty, nearly pinning her a second time.

But Ruby’s resilience showed. She caught Belle with a snap suplex that rattled the ring, then rose to her feet fired up, the crowd roaring in unison. Belle tried to regroup, but Ruby snatched her into position and flipped her into the Full Moon Eclipse (Code Red). The arena erupted as Ruby hooked the legs.

One… Two… Three!

Winner: Ruby Howl (via pinfall, Full Moon Eclipse)

Ruby jumped to her feet, pumping her fists as the Columbia fans erupted in chants of “HOWL! HOWL! HOWL!” Belle rolled out of the ring, clutching her neck, glaring up at Ruby with venom.

Sam Duffy:
“Ruby Howl just picked up a statement win — and she did it against one-half of the All American Sweethearts!”

Rick Granger:
“And look at Belle — she’s furious. You can bet she and Ainsley America aren’t going to let this one go unanswered.”

[The camera lingered on Ruby standing tall, Scarlett joining her at ringside to raise her arm. The All American Sweethearts regrouped up the ramp, pointing back at the Howls, the tournament implications clear in every gesture.]

[The Convergence commercial ends with Scrooge’s cackling face filling the screen. The crowd in Columbia boos loudly, with a few scattered cheers from heel fans.]

Sam Duffy:
“Fans, you just saw it — November brings the Convergence Supercard. Two nights, two arenas, NPCW and HCW side by side! It’s the most ambitious crossover in wrestling history.”

Rick Granger (laughing):
“And don’t forget the gift shop, Sam! You heard Scrooge — velvet pillows, golden forks, chandeliers! Who cares about the matches? I’m going for the accommodations!”

Sam Duffy:
“Oh, come on, Rick. This isn’t about Scrooge’s greed — it’s about justice, pride, and proving which roster can rise above. HCW and NPCW, together under one banner. You won’t want to miss it.”

Rick Granger:
“You’re right about one thing — I won’t want to miss it. Scrooge, Count Vlad, all that money and all that power in one place? That’s not just history, Sam… that’s destiny.”

[Camera cuts back to ringside. The lights dim slightly, shifting to a blood-red hue as the U.S. Title match is set to begin.]

[The arena lights shift to a gritty steel-gray. The sound of heavy chains rattling echoes, followed by the blast of bagpipes and pounding drums. The crowd erupts as Bruiser McPugg storms through the curtain, fists taped, jaw clenched, his walk pure determination. He doesn’t waste time playing to the fans — though their cheers swell around him — he just stomps down the ramp, every step shaking with blue-collar fury. At ringside, he slaps the steel steps with both hands before marching up them and stepping into the ring, glaring toward the entrance with no fear in his eyes.]

Sam Duffy:
“Here comes Bruiser McPugg, a man who’s fought tooth and nail his entire life. Tonight, he’s not just fighting for a title — he’s fighting to prove he belongs in the same breath as HCW’s best.”

Rick Granger:
“Belongs? Sam, he’s walking into a lion’s den! You don’t belong in the ring with the Dominion unless you want to be fed to the wolves — or the fangs.”

[The lights suddenly cut to black. A deep gong echoes through the arena as crimson spotlights swirl. The ominous sound of a heart beating begins to throb through the speakers, then merges into a sinister, low chant. The crowd erupts in boos as Count Vlad steps onto the stage, cane in hand, cloak flaring behind him. Behind him emerges the monstrous Wilber “TerrorFang” Townsend, the U.S. Championship slung over his shoulder. His face is twisted with menace, his body swaying almost unnaturally as though possessed by the darkness around him. Vlad points his cane toward the ring, barking orders as Wilber lumbers forward.]

Sam Duffy:
“Here they come — the Dark Dominion’s own Wilber Townsend and Count Vlad! Wilber has been nearly unstoppable since claiming the U.S. Title.”

Rick Granger (smirking):
“And tonight won’t be any different, Sam. Look at him — TerrorFang’s not defending a championship, he’s enforcing Dominion law!”

[Wilber climbs onto the apron in one giant stride, stepping over the top rope with eerie calm. Vlad enters behind him, tapping the cane on the mat as if blessing the battleground. Wilber holds the U.S. Title high for the crowd — half jeering, half in awe — before handing it to referee “Honest” Abe. The bell is moments away.]

From the opening bell, the Dark Dominion’s menace filled the arena. With Count Vlad lurking at ringside, Wilber “TerrorFang” Townsend wasted no time imposing his strength. He locked Bruiser in a suffocating rear chinlock, wrenching his neck back with sadistic precision. McPugg fought for daylight, but Wilber slammed him with a punishing lifting sideslam moments later, nearly putting the match away in just two minutes.

Sam Duffy:
“McPugg’s already in deep trouble! TerrorFang is suffocating him out of the gate!”

Rick Granger:
“Of course he is — Wilber Townsend is the U.S. Champion for a reason. McPugg looks like he wandered into the wrong fight!”

McPugg tried to shake it off, but a short-arm clothesline flattened him, followed by another vicious chinlock that had the challenger gasping. Every time he stirred, Vlad’s cane tapped the mat ominously, reminding everyone whose law ruled this ring.

But the blue-collar brawler found his window in the fifth minute. McPugg muscled Wilber up and crashed him down with a huge powerbomb! The crowd roared as McPugg threw himself on top for the cover — one… two… kickout! The people rose to their feet, willing Bruiser to keep swinging.

Sam Duffy:
“McPugg just turned the tide! He’s not done yet, Rick — he can taste the title!”

Rick Granger (snorting):
“He can taste it? Sam, he’s about to choke on it.”

Fired up, McPugg landed another massive powerbomb in the sixth minute, rattling the champion again. The fans believed the upset was possible. But Wilber’s eerie resilience showed — his body seemed to shake with every blow, but his eyes never lost that Dominion glare.

By the seventh minute, TerrorFang shifted gears. He caught McPugg with a barrage of hammering blows across the back, each strike echoing through the Columbia arena and finished it with the GTS. McPugg staggered, his body folding under the assault. Wilber hooked the leg, and “Honest” Abe dropped to count: one… two… three!

Winner: Wilber “TerrorFang” Townsend (via pinfall, Hammering Blows to Back and the GTS)

Count Vlad entered the ring immediately, his cane tapping once on the mat like a judge’s gavel. He raised Wilber’s arm high as the U.S. Title glimmered under the crimson lights. McPugg rolled to his side, coughing, clutching his ribs, while the Dominion stood tall.

Sam Duffy:
“McPugg fought with all the heart in the world, but the Dark Dominion stands tall once again. Vlad promised dominance — and tonight, Wilber delivered.”

Rick Granger (smirking):
“Delivered? He enforced! This wasn’t a title defense, Sam — it was a statement. The Dominion holds the gold, and HCW had better get used to it.”

[The final shot of Voltage is Wilber towering with the U.S. Championship held high, Count Vlad smiling coldly beside him, the shadow of the Dominion looming large as the screen fades out.]

End of Broadcast

[Wilber “TerrorFang” Townsend stands in the ring, U.S. Title raised high as Count Vlad points his cane toward the camera. The crimson lights burn as the Columbia crowd boos loudly.]

Sam Duffy:
“Another dominant win for the Dark Dominion. Bruiser McPugg gave everything he had, but Wilber Townsend remains your United States Champion.”

Rick Granger:
“And Sam, let’s call it what it is — another message from Count Vlad and the Dominion. They rule the night, they rule the gold, and no one is safe heading into Convergence.”

Sam Duffy:
“Fans, thank you for joining us here on Voltage! We’ll see you next week as the road to Convergence continues!”

[The HCW logo flashes on screen, the broadcast fades to black.]

The Columbia crowd stayed red-hot for the bonus bout, and the action didn’t disappoint. From the start, Scarlett Howl went right after Ainsley America, planting her with a stunning Basket Buster (pedigree) that nearly shocked everyone with a one-minute win. Ainsley staggered back with desperation Justice Jabs, but Scarlett controlled the early minutes with suplexes and a punishing rhythm that had the fans howling.

The Sweethearts’ teamwork came alive once Belle tagged in. The arrogant pageant queen cracked Scarlett with the Kiss of Liberty spinning heel kick and followed up moments later with the flashy Dixie Cutter. Then Ainsley soared through the ropes with a breathtaking American Avalanche suicide dive, colliding with Scarlett on the floor — drawing one of the night’s loudest reactions as both women crashed to the mats.

Sam Duffy (local commentary):
“Columbia is on its feet! The Sweethearts are pulling out all the stops tonight!”

Rick Granger:
“And that’s why they’re America’s darlings, Sam — the stars, the stripes, the spotlight!”

But Scarlett barely made it back in at the eight count, and once she did, she rallied. A stiff headbutt rocked Belle, and Ruby tagged in for the sisters’ first big double-team sequence. Together, the Howls nailed Belle with a suplex–enzuigiri combo, then followed with a jaw-dropping spot — Ruby springboarding into a step-up enzuigiri as Scarlett drove Belle down with an Electric Chair Facebuster. The arena erupted in unison: “HOWL! HOWL! HOWL!”

The Sweethearts battled back with their trademark sass — Belle scored with a Southern Hospitality superkick and Ainsley stormed back in with more flag-waving forearms. But Ruby countered with her Full Moon Eclipse (Code Red), nearly stealing the fall before Belle yanked her shoulder up at two and three-quarters.

The finish came fast and furious. Ruby tagged Scarlett, and after Belle tried another Kiss of Liberty, Scarlett caught her mid-stride, spiked her with a crushing Basket Buster (pedigree), and held for the cover. One… two… three!

Winners: The Howl Sisters (via pinfall, Scarlett over Leepurty Belle with a Basked Buster (pedigree))

The Columbia crowd exploded, chanting and stomping as Scarlett and Ruby embraced in the ring. The All American Sweethearts rolled out, throwing a tantrum on the floor, waving their flags in disgust as the fans booed them out of the building.

Sam Duffy (excited):
“The Howl sisters just earned the next shot at the Iron Maidens Tag Team Titles — and they did it in style!”

Rick Granger (grumbling):
“Style? Please. The Sweethearts got robbed. But fine, the Howls are next up — and that means the Sweethearts will just have to take the long way back to the top.”

[The final scene for the live crowd is the Howls standing tall on the turnbuckles, leading the fans in a deafening “HOWL! HOWL! HOWL!” chant to send everyone home happy.]

A special announcement is coming on 10/08 so stay tuned.
