wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling
newsletter. We have a treat for you
tonight. Since we missed out on two pay
per view events last year, we decided to make up for that this year. Tonight, we will bring you the House of
Horrors show. All matches will be specialty
matches and we will see two titles on the line tonight. First, Master Bull will defend the TV title
against the Banker in a specialty match to be determined later. Also, we will see the Hardcore title on the
line with Wilber Townsend taking on HCW’s evil resident vampire Dr. Red
Fang. This and more so let’s get this
show on the road.
The
show begins with Penny Hall making her way out to the ring. She is booed as she calls out the Queen of
HCW Goldie Locks. Queen Goldie comes out
and the fans pop. Penny says that the
last time the two of them met, it ended in a draw. She wants to prove she can beat her.
The
two locked up but Penny wasn’t able to back up her boast as this one, dominated
by the Queen, went to another time limit draw.
Penny accused her Royalness of hiding behind her crown (and time limit)
and demanded a rematch here and now.
Goldie upped the ante and said that in order for Penny to not run away
when she was getting beaten, they should do this as a strap match. Goldie stuck out her wrist as the strap was affixed. Penny was more reluctant but finally
agreed. The match then started over.
This
time, the two ladies had a no-time limit match.
Penny got the upper hand early whipping the Queen with the strap. She laughed as the welts began to rise on
Goldie’s skin. At the 11 minute mark,
Penny dropkicked Goldie out of the ring but the strap didn’t allow her to get
very far. Goldie then rolled back in and began wrapping Penny up with the
strap. She then locked in the Twin City
Twister surfboard. Penny was all tied up
and had no way to get out. She then
tapped out. Goldie Locks gets the win
with some measure of satisfaction. She
removed the strap and soaked in the applause of the fans. Penny, still irate, attacked Goldie but the
Queen was ready for her and grabbed the end of the strap and began whipping Penny
with it. The fans roared their
approval. Penny then bolted like a
scalded dog and ran to the back without looking back. Goldie celebrated with the fans and then
left.
The
Ambassador was backstage. He says that
Dr. Red Fang is getting ready for his Hardcore title match against Wilber
Townsend. The Ambassador says Fang has
to be on his own tonight to prove he’s worthy of the title.
Our
next grudge match is up. Casper Wyoming
comes out first to a nice pop from the crowd.
He rushes down to the ring and asks for a mic. He says that months of abuse from Apollo Gyze
has led him to this match. He will prove
to Apollo once and for all that he is not a cowpoke to mess with. The loudspeakers then blare out “APOLLO GYZE
DON’T APOLOGIZE” and Apollo makes his way out to massive booing from the
crowd. He doesn’t care and gets into the
ring. The ref announces that the rules
for this match will be “Lights out” rules.

Champion Jack Lumber is in the house.
Jack comments that he is looking forward to defending the title against
Chic Monroe tonight. If he wins, he
will set his sights on the Wicked Prophet (who surprisingly is not here
tonight.)
Our
World Title match is up next. First,
Superstar Chic Monroe comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He makes his way to the ring and enters. After he got his moment, the loudspeakers
blare out “TIMMMBERRRRRR” and the flannel wearing World Champion Jack Lumber makes
his way out to the loudest pop of the night.
He stops by the Lumber Lounge and then makes his way to the ring high
fiving with the fans. Monroe gets on the
mic and tells Lumber that this show is supposed to be all specialty matches so
he insists Jack makes this a “Brawl Games” rules match. Jack agrees.
This
one was a massacre.

It’s
time for our main event with the Hardcore Title on the line. First, the music blares out “VAMPIRE LUNGES
FOR EVERYBODY” and out comes the evil Dr. Red Fang. He snarls and growls at the fans and makes
his way to the ring. He gets in and
starts biting the ring rope. The music
changes and out comes Wilber Townsend.
Wilber is wearing his freaky half-melted Pennywise the clown mask. It looks terrifying. I guess the mid games have begun. Wilber gets in the ring and hands the title
over. The fans boo both men but are
unsure if one should be cheered instead.
The bell rings.

the belt around the champs’ waist. The
show comes to an end with the fans booing the new champion and Fang growling,
snarling and laughing.
