Hello fans and
welcome back to another episode of HCW’s Phoenix Heat. The crowd pops as the cameras go live and
pyro goes off. We get right down to
business as our first match is ready to go.
Today’s line up
looks like this:
Starr Vixen vs
Sarona Reiher
The Crocodile
Hunter and Outback Oscar vs the Ryzing Storm
Angry Jack Lawson
vs Phat Sol
‘Top Gun’ Justin
Winger vs Perfect Pecs Stoddard
Elimination Chamber
Qualifier: Magnum Kone vs Wilber
Townsend
Texas Wildfire vs
Scooter J for the TV title
Kicking things
off, Sarona Reiher comes out first and the crowd boos her as she makes her way
down to the ring. Next, Starr Vixen
comes out and the fans go nuts. She high
fives the fans as she makes her way down to the ring. She doesn’t waste any time and gets in the
ring where Sarona is pacing back and forth.
Sarona started off strong but after about 10 minutes, Starr began to
make a comeback. Star shrugged off
everything Sarona brought and then began to dish it out herself. As the match was nearing the time limit,
Starr hit Sarona with a Flying Fivearm but didn’t have enough in the tank to
make the cover. Sarona recovered first
and dropped her with a savate kick but the bell rang before she could go for a
pin. This one ends in a time limit
draw. Sarona tried to inflict further
damage but Starr showed her the exit via over the top rope and the fans
popped. Sarona made her way to the back
and Starr celebrated with the fans before leaving. (20 min draw)
We cut back to GM
Master Bull’s office and he’s talking to….Magnum Kone. Magnum is bandaged up and Bull says he’d
understand if Magnum couldn’t wrestle tonight.
The King of Cones states that he will participate in the qualifier match
tonight but says he’s not through yet with Superquake Ferguson. Bull says he has an idea about that and
closes the door to his office.
It’s time for the
next match and the Ryzing Storm (Terra and Travis Ryzing) come out first and
are booed pretty heavily. Next, music
hits and out comes Outback Oscar and the US Champion the Crocodile Hunter. The fans pop huge as Croc and Oscar make
their way down to the ring. The Ryzing
Storm attack before the bell and this one is off to the races. Croc and Oscar dominated the match beating
the tar out of Terra and Travis and came to a merciful end after Oscar hit
Travis with a Full Nelson Face Smash.
Croc and Oscar get the win and leave as the crowd pops again for
them. (24 min)
Master Bull is
alone in his office and he is talking on the phone with an unidentified
source. He says that Magnum will be ok
and will still wrestle tonight. He
pauses listening and then responds with “Yes, I think that will be under
control.” Bull hangs up the phone and
then sits back in his chair and smiles.
Our next match
begins with Phat Sol making his way down to the ring to a pop from the crowd. Next, Angry Jack Lawson storms out from the
back and power walks (he looks really angry) and climbs over the top rope. Jack tried to take out all his anger on Phat
but the master of the Phat Phat didn’t succumb to the brute strength. Phat hung in there all the way to the end and
in the last few seconds of the match, Phat stuns Jack with a forearm smash just
as the time limit expires. This one ends
in a draw. Jack tried to keep going but
Phat slipped out of the ring. The fans
popped as he made his way up the ramp but he was ambushed by the Unknown
Assassin. UA beat him down and once he
tired of that, he threw Phat OFF THE STAGE right to the floor. Phat’s fall was slowed by the tables he went
through but I’m sure that still hurt. He
was stirring and UA couldn’t believe it.
Phat then got up and UA took off.
Phat climbed back up and he was fuming.
He took off after the Unknown Assassin.
(20 min draw; 5 min for the additional segment.
Scooter J is
backstage and he is bitching about how long it took for him to get this title
match. He says it will all be worth it
once he wins the title but he won’t stop there and will continue to climb the
ladder until the World Champion gives him the match he so rightfully deserves
and he takes home the 10 lbs of gold.
The next match
starts off with Perfect Pecs Stoddard making his way out to the ring and the
fans booed as Stoddard would pause on his way to the ring and flex his
pecs. Once in the ring, the music
changed and out comes ‘Top Gun’ Justin Winger.
The crowd pops for Winger as he makes his way down to the ring. He climbs in and is ready for action. Winger remained in control for the entire
match but he just couldn’t keep Pecs down for the 3 count. Time flew in this match and the bell rang
once again signaling a time limit draw.
Pecs took off knowing he was owned in this match and before Winger could
leave, we hear blaring through the loudspeakers “DENIED”. Winger watched the ramp for the Banker but it
wasn’t via the ramp but through the crowed that the Banker came. He blasted Winger with his briefcase and then
tied him up in the ropes. Winger
struggled to get free but the match was exhausting. The Banker pulled out the stamp. Winger tried to kick at the Banker but he was
just out of reach. The Banker began
putting the boots to the helpless Winger and after the struggles ceased, the
Banker stamped the word “DENIED” right on Winger’s forehead. He laughed saying that he denied Winger
another win and said this will continue until Winger quits and leaves
forever. He left Winger tied up in the
ropes and before leaving, blasted him once more in the head with the briefcase
causing the blood to flow. He sauntered
to the back laughing. The ref finally
got Winger free and then helped him to the back. (20 min draw)
We cut backstage
and see the Tacoma Thunder GM ‘The Ragin Cajun’ King Rad Gumbo standing in
Master Bull’s office. He says that Bull
showed up in his territory and cost him the World title. Bull has a good laugh. Rad says that it doesn’t sit well with him
and says that if Bull wants a territory war, he will have one. Bull stands up and tells King Rad that he
better not be interfering in any of his matches tonight and Rad says he only
came by to voice his disappointment in Bull and that he was leaving. He walked out closing the door behind
him. Bull picks up the phone and tells
security to make sure King Rad leaves and then orders them to secure the
building.
It’s time for our
next match which is the final Elimination Chamber Qualifier. Right now, we have Graham’s Ghouls taking on
Scooter J and the Unknown Assassin. Will
it be Wilber or Magnum joining them?
It’s time to find out. Magnum
Kone comes out first and begins to hand out ice cream to the kids but he is
blindsided by Superquake Ferguson.
Superquake manhandles Magnum and then throws him into the steel steps. The sound of that crash reverberated through
the crowd. Superquake stopped after
security came down and escorted him out of the building. The ref checked on Magnum asking if he wanted
to continue and he said yes. Next,
Wilber Townsend comes out and the fans boo him.
Once in the ring, we are “treated” to one of Wilber’s creepy promos:
“Magnum,
I admire your courage. Surely normal men lose sleep at just the mere thought of
dancing with reapers. But war, justice... that's y'all's game, man. I dig it. I
like games too. War, oooh, that's my favorite. My soul smiles at just the
thought of your quivering hands waving those white flags, yeah. I would advise
y'all to be careful inviting the devil in your backyard ... because he may just
like it and decide to stay. Magnum,
follow the buzzards.”
Wilber
goes right on the warpath but beat up as he was, Magnum stayed toe to toe with
him. Wilber tried to beat him down but
Magnum kept getting back up. Once the
match hit 15 minutes, you could tell Magnum was being to get worn down. Wilber turned up the intensity hitting Magnum
with the Go to Sleep. He didn’t go for
the pin but instead hit a lifting sideslam.
Once again, he chose not to go for the pin and it almost cost him. Magnum hurled Wilber into the corner but
Wilber came out connecting with a short arm clothesline. He rolled Magnum up and put his feet on the
ropes and was able to secure the 1-2-3.
Wilber Townsend gets the win in 18 minutes and we now have all the
entrants for our Elimination Chamber match and shockingly, it’s all HEELS! That will be interesting to see how that
plays out.
The TV champion
Texas Wildfire is being interviewed and he says that Scooter J is a crafty
devil and as everyone knows, is a cheat.
He will not fall to any of SJ’s tricks and he will walk out (holds the
title in front of the camera) with “THIS” still intact.
It’s time for our
main event. First, Scooter J comes out
and the fans boo the crap out of him. He
flips the loudest ones off with a double finger salute. Next, music changes and out comes the TV
Champion Texas Wildfire. The fans pop is
the loudest of the night and TW takes his time to interact with the fans as he
makes his way down. Finally, after
entering the ring, he climbs the turnbuckles in each corner holding his title
high. The delay infuriates Scooter J who
decides he had enough and attacks the champ.
After 3 minutes, Scooter J takes the action to the outside of the ring
and the two fight. He whips TW into the
corner post and he goes down. Scooter J
re-enters the ring and stands there as the ref counts. He’s clueless as the ref counts to 10 and
counts TW out. Scooter J runs around the
ring with his arms in the air screaming “I did it!” however the ref has to
remind him that the belt does NOT change hands on a countout. Scooter J is furious and attacks the ref
beating him down. He begins to pummel
the ref with the 10 punches but the TV champ is back in and hurls him off. Scooter J says that there is no way TW would
win a fair fight between them and he immediately challenges TW again for the
belt but this time, wants a no countout/no DQ match. Texas Wildfire accepts and says that at the
next Tacoma show after the Elimination Chamber, the two of them will meet again
and this time, nothing will prevent him from kicking Scooter J’s ass all over
the building. The fans pop as SJ stews
in the ring.
Master Bull comes
out just as the show is ready to end and announces that Elimination Chamber
will be here in just one week with Graham’s Ghouls defending the 6 man titles
against the team of Scooter J, the Unknown Assassin and Wilber Townsend. It will be one to tune in for sure.
With that, the
show comes to an end. Stay tuned as
there is more to come.
