Hello
fans and welcome back to our newsletter.
We are coming into the homestretch for our year end pay per view
Apocalypse. This two day show is shaping
up to be a very interesting card so be sure to get your tickets to the event
now before it (very likely) sells out.
GM
Max McGillicutty comes out to thank the fans for attending and announces that
the PPV will host two different battle royals for future title shots – one for
the ladies and one for the men. After
this announcement, the show begins.
The
first match of the evening is a rematch from our last show. Mountain Man Junior Huber vs the Fiend. Huber comes out first to booing from the fans
while the Fiend gets a pop. The Fiend
has been in a bit of a funk since losing the Hardcore title but he easily
controlled the match dominating his much larger opponent. The Fiend took out some of his frustrations
on Junior and put him away after nailing the Project 1950 headbutt in 23
minutes. After the match, the Fiend
looked at the camera and said he was coming back for his belt.
TV
Champion ScooterJ is not live at the show but sends a taped message that plays
over the Omegatron. He tells the Elitist
Reid Rothchild he will accept the challenge for their match at the PPV and
promises Reid will wish he just stayed at home.
The
camera cuts live to the audience and the three family members of Texas Wildfire
(his father, wife, son, and daughter) are in their seats and wave to the fans.
The
Masked Gentleman comes out carrying a bag but since there is no match going on,
we are wondering what he is doing here as he is not scheduled to wrestle. He enters the ring and asks for two
chairs. MG then takes the mic and says
he is debuting a new honest-to-goodness talk show and says it will be called
“MG’s Pit” (in reference to Rowdy Roddy Piper’s version from the 80’s). The fans boo and it only gets worse when he
reaches into the bag and pulls out a kilt.
He puts it on and the fans express their distaste for this man. MG tells the fans to “shut their pie holes”
so he can get this segment started. He
says the fans don’t like him and he doesn’t care but they will care about his
first guest on this premiere show. MG
calls out his guest and it’s none other than the Texas Wildfire. The pop he gets is louder than anything we’ve
heard in a while. TW makes it to the
ring and MG asks him to sit down. TW
refuses and kicks the chair away. He
immediately gets into MG’s face and the two begin to have words. The Omegatron goes off and TW is momentarily
distracted. MG then takes advantage of
the distraction and he reaches into his bag and pulls out…what the hell…a
coconut. TW turns around and MG blasts
him with the coconut (in reference to what Piper did to Jimmy Snuka) and it
explodes into pieces. TW is busted
open. MG then pulls a semi-conscious TW
behind him and drags him over to his family.
MG begins to taunt TW’s family. The kids start crying and MG tells them to
SHUT THE HELL UP and tells TW’s wife that she is looking at a real man and not
the trash he’s dragging around. TW’s
wife slaps MG across the face. TW’s
father stands up to defend the family and MG notices he has a prosthetic
arm. MG yanks on the arm and then pushes
him down forcibly. MG drags TW back into
the ring beats him with the prosthetic and hits him twice with the Welcome
Mat. The fans are ready to riot. MG, pleased with himself, leaves. Medics come out and help TW to the back.
Backstage, the Savior cuts a promo for tonight’s match against El
Chango for the S.H.I.T. title. Most of
it is drowned out by the fans still spewing their venom for what MG just did to
TW.
Next up we have a 6 Ladies tag team match. First, the team of El Gato Negro, Scarlett
Phoenix and Kimberly Kiccass come out to a nice pop from the crowd (the seemed
to have calmed down after a riot almost broke out). Their opponents are the Queen’s Court – The
British Crippler, Lady Hermann and Queen Beckett. The Court makes their way down to the ring
for the match. While the match was
pretty even, the team of El Gato, Scarlett and Kimberly actually did slightly
better. The majority of the match saw
Queen Beckett fight Kimberly Kiccass. 6
minutes in, she caught the Queen with a dragon sleeper but the Court broke it
up. After the teams rotated in an out,
Queen Beckett was back in against El Gato. After reversing a Wall-O-Cato,
Beckett locked in the Her Majesty’s Smash but Gato would not quit. The British Crippler gets in and after a
moment, gets caught by the Gato paw. El Gato goes for a pin but Lady Hermann
makes the save. Lady Hermann takes over
pounding on the Black Cat but El Gato makes the hot tag to Kimberly. Kim gets in and cleans house catching Lady
Herman with a Christo and goes for a pin but only gets 2. The Court double team Kimberly but El Gato
and Scarlett are in to even the odds.
Kimberly then nails the Crippler with a Michinoku driver and dumps her
out of the ring. The court tend to their
fallen teammate which results in a countout.
The Court loses this one by countout.
Kimberly, Scarlett and El Gato celebrate before leaving the ring. (20 ½ min)
Backstage, MG orders another prime rib while munching down on teal
M&M’s. He sticks his head outside
his dressing room and screams out, "MAX! I need more Teal M&M's, but I
need them personalized! I want them to say “#BlackNBlueCrew” and others to say
"TW Sucks" And don’t give me ANY flack that it won’t fit on an
M&M…MAKE IT FIT!" MG Slams his dressing room door.
Match
#3 is on and this one has Angry Jack Lawson heading to the ring first. His opponent is escorted by his manager MJ
and it’s the Ragin Cajun Rad Gumbo.
Gumbo carries a sign that reads “Gumbo 7:30 says its Suppa Time Bitch”
and MJ carries one reading “Should be the catchphrase of the year”. The Cajun makes short work of Lawson after
catching him with the Onion Twist (Muta Lock) and Jack tapped out. (3 min)
Back
in Max’s office, the Wraith is complaining about not being on the PPV
card. Max tells him things are not yet
finalized and there is still a chance.
The Wraith questions if Max is holding him back and is told “No, in
fact, you have a match next”. The Wraith
complains he hasn’t had time to prepare but Max tells him to Man Up and get to
the ring before he changes his mind. The
Wraith storms out.
Handsome
Hernandez comes out first to start this off and he is booed but when the Wraith
comes out, the fans care less about him.
The Wraith and Hernandez go toe to toe for 3 minutes until the theme
from the TV show “Bonanza” blares over the loudspeakers. The Wraith looks around wondering why it’s
playing and he looks up and sees the Stache’s picture on the Omegatron. Distracted, Hernandez catches him with a
cross arm breaker. The Wraith taps out
pretty quick bringing this one to a fast finish. The Wraith looks around as he leaves
wondering just what the hell is going on.
El
Chango is backstage with his Desperados teammate Leon Teremoto and El Chango
says tonight he picks up a singles title that will hold him over until they can
once again get their hands on tag team gold.
Match
#5 is next. Mr. Wrestling #5 coms out
first to a mixed reaction. His opponent
Superstar Chic Monroe comes out but has a mic in hand. He complains about El Chango getting a title
shot when it should be him getting it.
The fans boo him and he eventually gives up. This was relatively another short match which
didn’t see a whole lot of offense going on.
A chant of “Speed things UP” started and MW5 nailed Monroe with the
Million Dollar kneelift which elicited a pop from the crowd. Monroe picked up Mr. Wrestling 5 and dropped
him throat first on the top rope before hitting a swiss uppercut that sent 5
out of the ring. Monroe followed him out
and hit a Cradle Facebuster on the floor.
He rolled back in and MW5 got counted out. The Swiss Superstar Chic Monroe steals a win
via countout. (7 min)
Back
in his office Max notices that his cc had been experiencing quite a few
extravagant charges as of late (prime rib, beer kegs, teal M&M’s) and had
forensic accountant Gardinia Blue investigate.
Max calls and puts the cc on hold preventing any future charges until he
can figure out what is going on.
Texas
Wildfire is backstage being checked out by medical and says he looks to be
shaken up but otherwise ok. TW looks at
the camera and tells MG that it’s one thing to go after him but once he
involved his family, he crossed the line and has made it personal and he will
take it out on him at the PPV.
It
is time for the Main Event: The Savior
vs El Chango for the S.H.I.T. title.
Desperado member El Chango comes out first to a mixed reaction. Next, the Saskatchewan Heavyweight
International Title holder the Savior comes out and he is booed pretty
heavily. For about 10 minutes, both men
were pretty evenly matched until the Savior hit El Chango with a powerbomb
against the edge of the ring. After
that, the match pretty much was in the champ’s favor. As the match progressed, El Chango got a
little desperate and tossed the Savior out of the ring trying to buy him some
recovery time. It didn’t work out that
way as the Savior was back in pretty quick and nailed El Chango with a spinning
heel kick. The champ made the cover and
with his foot on the ropes, got the 1-2-3.
The Savior wins this one and retains his title. His celebration is short lived as World
champion Drew the Canadian Love Machine ran down and the two of them started to
brawl. A gaggle of refs had to come out
and separate the two. When that didn’t
work, half of the locker room came out to try and separate them. The show came to a close with the two men
glaring at each other from opposite sides of the ring.
Thanks
for reading. We have one show left and
should have the final PPV card posted before the PPV.
Stay
Tuned.
