Now that the advertisements are out of the way, let’s get on
to business.
In preparation for his biggest match to date, Mike “the Axe”
Medley was put into a match against Tensai.
The match went to a full 30 minutes but just before the end, Reid
Rothchild runs down with Ravishing Raquel.
Raquel distracts the ref and Reid hits Medley with a chair. This allows
Tensai to lock in his claw hold and pin Mike with it at 29:59. After the match, Reid got in the ring and
tried for a Reidbottom but Medley “hulked up” and hit the Axe on Reid knocking
him completely out. Medley then picked
up the belt and posed to the crowd while Raquel screamed at him from
ringside. After a minute or so, Medley
drops the belt on the lifeless carcass that is Reid Rothchild. Raquel jumps in the ring to help her man and
she eventually gets him up and moving.
Austin Aries then comes out and calls out John Cena. Aries says it should be him wrestling at the
Bash but due to the crappy way Master Bull put him in a match that he was
unprepared for, he lost his title. Cena
eventually makes it to the ring. Aries
says that he and Cena should have a match right here to see who should get the
title shot. This brings out Master
Bull. “You know Aries, that sounds like
a great idea but I want to set some ground rules first. There will be no DQ/Countout. There will be no time limit draws and this
will be best of 3 falls.” Cena gave the
GM a look that said “Dude, what the hell?” but the bell rang starting the
matches’ first fall.
Right off the bat, Cena hits a Five knuckle shuffle and
picks up the first fall in less than 30 seconds. The next match goes 16 minutes with Cena
totally dominating Aries. Cena picks up
the win after a devastating F-U. This of
course brings out Ryback. Ryback still
is not happy He attacks Cena and ends up spearing him through a table. Ryback then calls down GM Master Bull. “I want in.
I want a match at the Bash. You have
all this talent and are not using it. I
am throwing down a challenge to Alberto Del Rio for his world title shot.” This prompted Del Rio to come out. “I too was
afraid of being left off another PPV so I accept.” Master Bull then made the addition to the GAB
card.
In the back, MW3 was filming another vignette. He was in the process of setting up the scene
which included the wall from a “Hogan style” steel cage (the thick bars with
enough space to fit your head through).
As he was setting up the scene, Mr Wrestling 4 runs in and rams MW3’s
head into the cage. MW3 is bleeding
now. “This is only a taste of what I
will do to you at the Bash. Suck on that
Bitch.” He then hit MW3 with a steel
chair for good measure and then left.
Out next came the Shield. They called out their opponents
Monopoly Jr. and Magnus. The New Money
Corp (a division of Prestige Inc) came down accompanied by Ravishing Raquel. Monopoly Jr was holding Raquel’s hand as they
walked down. Reigns and Rollins said
that they need to put in a workout prior to their match so they were offering
New Money a non title shot right here and now.
For the first 10 minutes, New Money dominated the champs. Reigns and Rollins didn’t know what hit
them. Then they got their shit together
and in heelish fashion, took the next 8 minutes beating the tar out of the
challengers. Reigns picked up the win
after hitting Magnus with a nasty elbow smash.
After the match, the Shield began flirting with Ravishing Raquel
offering her a job as their manager.
Monopoly Jr. and Magnus then attacked the Shield and beat them down with
the tag team titles. New Money posed
with the belts before dropping them on the champs and walking away.
In the back, the Internet Media Champion Zack Ryder is
pacing. He seems very distracted. In walks Dude Love and he tries to calm Ryder
down. Ryder does not want the match with
the Mighty Casey. He tells Dude that
this has gone too far. He didn’t realize
it was going down like this. Dude told
Ryder that there is a lot riding on the outcome of the PPV and he needs to get
his shit together or it’s possible that Ryder may get a visit from a
not-so-friendly character from the demented mind of Mick Foley. He tells him to concentrate on winning.
Clarkus Kentus told us that due to more drawings, 2 fans
were chosen to get free seats for the GAB..
They were both women and they asked that their names not be used so only
initials were given. A.Z. and L.N. were
provided. Congratulations to both
women. Enjoy your ringside seats. After digging a bit more, we also found out
that the “superfan” Brandon will be there also at ringside. Maybe he’ll be sitting with these 2 women.
Within the insane world of wrestling, we have come to
understand that things aren’t always what they appear to be. In fact, the Great
American Bash will be no different. The performers need to bring their A Game
if they want any hope of walking out as winners. We do expect some of these matches
will blow your socks off. We expect this Bash to exceed all expectations. Rumor has it that an old favorite may be
making an appearance at the Bash so be sure to tune in. You may be pleasantly surprised.
The Bssh will be taking place this weekend so stay
