Hello fans and welcome to our December PPV – Apocalypse!  This show is so big it had to span two days!  Pyro immediately goes off and the fans in this sold out show are “hanging from the rafters”.  People are packed into this venue and the fans expect to get their money’s worth and I can tell you, with the lineup and surprises in store, we feel the fans will all go home happy tonight.

GM Max McGillicutty comes out and thanks everyone for attending live and on PPV.  Max says that both today and tomorrow’s show are packed with top notch action.   Max states that since tonight’s main event of World Champion Drew the Canadian Love Machine vs the S.H.I.T. champion the Savior will be a winner takes all, I’m sure that whoever wins will drop the S.H.I.T. title and first thing on our agenda is to change the name back to the US Title.  Max then goes on to say that the men’s battle royal tomorrow will in fact be to crown a new US Champion.  The final 4 from the battle royal (everyone participates except for whoever holds the World title, TV and Hardcore title) will then appear on the final show of the year in a tournament to crown a new champion.   With that out of the way, the program is ready to go!

Before the match can be announced, MG enters the ring for MG's Pit...he grabs the mic amongst boos from the crowd, as he brushes them off. "I wanna get one thing off my chest first and foremost! People are saying I am resembling MG's Pit after someone Iconic, and that I am using old school tactics this apparent Iconic wrestler would use...This is a complete fabrication; My Stuff is all Original, right down to the coconut I used on TW...Now with that being said I have 3 guests today on the Pit.....They are here to try and analyze the Intelligence or lack intelligence of TW and why he thinks he needs to be in MG's business. Now I would like to introduce these guests, they are truly advanced in their field of knowledge, as they are 3 Scientists....give them a warm welcome!”

3 Scientists in white Lab jackets come to ringside and enter the ring.  “Welcome professors!" Scientist 1 says, "We are Scientists, not professors." "Whatever, now, you guys are supposedly pros in figuring out the psyche of people, am I to understand that?" Scientist #2 says, "We are, yes." MG says "Good well can any of you three figure out what Texas Wildfire’s problem is?  He really thinks he has a chance with Me at the PPV. Can you give me your evaluation of him?" The Scientists conjoin together for a minute then separate. Scientist #3 says, "After consulting with my colleagues, we have determined that we cannot rationally see why TW is in your business." MG says "So would you safely say that you are baffled by TW's actions and cannot understand why he would be so dumb to mess with MG?" Scientist #1 says, "We are all in agreement that us Scientists are Baffled by TW AND CANNOT Rationalize why he would want to be in your business, it makes no sense." MG: “Thank you Scientists.”  MG turns and then hits ALL THREE OF THEM with the Welcome Mat.  "Now you know that TW is not sane, he will now be shown by me destroying him in the PPV...this has been MG's Pit, and You are Welcome!" MG Leaves the ring.

Match #1:  The show begins with manager Ant Graham coming out and introduces Dr. Red Fang.  Fang exclaims “VAMIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE!” before heading to the ring.  Fang is in the ring and pacing like a tiger.  His opponent the Axe comes out to a good pop.  He high fives the fans as he makes his way down to the ring.  Fang tries to attack him and Axe hits him with the Axe right off the bat but Fang rolls out of the ring.  He regains his composure but spends the next few minutes on the outside of the ring.  Axe gets tired of Fang spending time outside there and he almost got counted out.  Just as Axe was getting back in the ring, Ant hit him with his cane.  Although damage was done, it motivated Axe more and he took it out on Fang beating him from pillar to post.   Ant tried to intimidate the ref and Axe went after him almost getting him but Ant stayed one step ahead.  Axe put Fang into the corner and tried for a shoulder tackle but Fang reversed it and nailed a skull crusher.  Axe hits a backbreaker but Fang nailed an airplane spin.  Axe was a bit woozy and Ant grabbed him leg almost tripping him.  Fang then nailed the Vampire Lunge and with a hook of the tights, got the 1-2-3.  Dr. Red Fang is victorious in the first match of our PPV.  Fang yelled and screamed at the fans (VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE) until his manager escorted him backstage.  (12 min)

The Masked Gentleman barges into Max's office, "MAX! I want to shut this chump Wildfire up! I DEMAND to fight TW for my Hardcore Title in a....DOG COLLAR MATCHJ!......Ooooo SNAP That! MAKE IT HAPPEN NOW!" as MG leaves Max's office.  Max says “fine” and pencils it in.

Match #2:  The Muscles Trio (Weasley, Thorpe and McGuire) comes out wearing their rainbow colored bull horns and are running around posing for all the kids in the audience.  Next, manager Ant Graham comes out and introduces the 6 man tag team champions the 5th Column (Karl Braun, Oswald Zimmerman and Wendell Hammerschmidt).  The fans turn nasty as the Column makes their way to the ring.  Neither team wasted any time and all went right at it as soon as the bell rang.  The champs held their own for the first 6 minutes with constant tagging in and out.  Finally, Muscles Thorpe caught Braun with a running splash and the tide turned into the favor of the challengers.  Their run was short lived as the Column regrouped and triple teamed Muscles Weasley for 3 rounds while his partners stood helpless on the outside of the ring.  After the beatdown, Weasley made the hot tag to McGuire but he too fell victim to triple teaming.  At the 13 minute mark, it was the Muscles Trio team to hit some triple team action and Ant Graham couldn’t believe it and started to panic.  After the ref regained control, Ant hopped up on the apron and started to verbally assault the ref.  The ref then ejected Ant from ringside and he BLASTED the ref with his cane.  The ref immediately called for the bell disqualifying the 5th Column.  Unfortunately for the trio, belts do not change hands on a disqualification so the 5th Column retains their titles.  They left and headed to the back all the while Graham pointing to his head  - seemingly trying to tell us he is smart.  I’m sure Max will have something to say about the finish.   The Muscles trio posed with the fans for a few minutes and then left the ring.  (21 min)

The Texas Wildfire is backstage and he says that he too has an expert where it comes to the Masked Gentleman.  He has the camera turn and he is looking at the ass end of a…well…ass.  “MG, this here ass says e’ knows you better than you know yur’self and e’ holds himself in higher standing and says that you are no better than the crap that comes out of this ass’s ass.  All the crap you put mah family through as well as the cowardly attack on me only motivates me all the more and tonight I will be victorious.  MG, since you love M&M's so much I'm gonna go ahead and call you the Masked Mo-ron and Masked Mo-ron, you crossed the line when you disrespected my family. There's gon' be hell to pay! Alpha Dog vs. Bully Dog in a dog collar match. You gon' find this dog's bite is a hell of a lot worse than his bark!”

Match #3:  The Ladies Battle Royal.   Max came out after all the ladies (except Ravishing Raquel and Ravishing Ruby Princess) got into the ring and told them that the winner of the battle royal will get a “money in the bank” title shot at the winner of tonight’s event that they can cash in at any time before the February PPV.  The eliminations went fairly quick and the final two in the ring were Queen Beckett and the Duchess.  Queen Beckett pounded on the Duchess for 5 minutes and just as she was getting ready to toss her out of the ring, the Duchess reversed it and hurled Beckett over the top rope crashing to the floor.  The Duchess wins the match and now gets a title match.  (29 min)  She grabs the briefcase and parades around the ring with it.  This brings out Southern Belle who immediately challenges her to a match for that briefcase.  The Duchess begins to walk away but then turns around and BLASTS Belle with it.  The Duchess accepts the match.

(Impromptu) Match #4:  The Duchess vs Southern Belle for the future title shot.  Belle owned the match and beat the hell out of the Duchess.  Duchess just couldn’t get her bearings.  Belle hit the Southern Swing twice but Duchess kicked out both times.  Belle nailed the Duchess with everything in her arsenal but Duchess just wouldn’t stay down.  At the 15 minute mark, Belle dropkicked Duchess with her cowboy boots on and that sent the Duchess flying out of the ring.  Duchess felt she had enough and just kept walking.  The Duchess ends up getting counted out in 15:30 (score was 66 to 107 with Belle destroying her) however the title shot does not change hands (like a title) on a countout so the Duchess retains her future spot.  Belle fumed in the ring before leaving.

The Saskatchewan Heavyweight International Title holder the Savior says that the time has come for one man to be saved and that is Drew the Canadian Love Machine.  The Savior says Drew has been duped by his own hype and believes himself to be the “face” of the company.  The Savior tells him he is delusional and after tonight, the Savior will be the new World Champion and the “face” of HCW.

The theme from “Bonanza” plays and out comes the Stache.  The fans pop huge for him.  He makes it down to the ring and after getting a mic, he says that he does have a surprise for the fans.  The Stache says that while he was out due to injury, he landed a few roles out in Hollywood and he ran into a man who recognized him as a former HCW World Champion.  Stache says this guy at one time used to be a wrestler and was pretty good.  He asked the Stache if he was returning and after answering yes, this person asked if he could accompany him.  Stache says absolutely.  Stache’s guest is here tonight and says it’s time for him to make his HCW debut.  Over the loud speakers blares... “IF YOU SMELLLLLLLLLLLL WHAT THE ROCK….IS COOKIN’” and out comes the ROCK.  HOLY CRAP!  The fans explode and it just becomes deafening.  Stache gives the Rock the mic and Rocky says he’s not here to wrestle but to be in the corner of the Stache.  Before he can continue, the Wraith comes out.  The fans instantly boo.  Rock asks “Just who in the blue hell are you?” as the Wraith enters the ring.  The Wraith snatches the mic out of his hand.  The Wraith then says that this is a nice surprise but just like beating the ass of the Stache, Wraith’s surprise will one up.  The Wraith turns to the Omegatron as the sound of breaking GLASS rings and out comes….HOLY CRAP…STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN!  Austin was the person who the Wraith called and after Wraith told him Rock was going to be there, Austin said “OH HELL YEAH” and agreed to show up.  Rock and Austin faced off as the Wraith and Stache did.   Max came back out reminding us this is not a tag team match.  Rock and Austin separated and went to separate corners.  The Wraith and Stache then squared off.

Match #5:  The Wraith vs the Stache. The Wraith immediately hit the Stache with low blow and that set the pace of the match. The Wraith was extra vicious in this match and took it out on the Stache.  Stache would battle back hitting the Whiplash (snap suplex) and the Tombstone but could not get a 3 count.  The Wraith ripped off a turnbuckle cover and smashed the Stache’s head into it (umm, why wasn’t he DQ’d?) busting him open.  The Wraith climbed to the top turnbuckle and nailed a flying elbow drop.  He then went to the outside and grabbed a chair.  The ref tried to take it away from him but Austin said to let them fight it out.   The Wraith went to swing the chair but the Stache blocked it and the two struggled over it.  The Wraith hits another low blow, yanks the chair away and blasts the Stache with it again.  The Wraith then went to talk crap to the Rock and Rocky was ready to get involved.  Austin went over and got between them.  Wraith hit the Stache with the chair again and then after discarding it, made the cover to get the 1-2-3.  The Wraith wins the match in pure cheating fashion.  The Wraith then goes out and grabs a pair of electric clippers.  He gets in the ring and then motions he’s going to remove the Stache’s Stache.  Stone Cold gets in the ring and tells the Wraith that he inflicted enough damage but the Wraith, high on adrenaline, PUSHED Austin away.  Austin got pissed and nailed the Wraith with the STONE COLD STUNNER!  The fans popped huge.  Rocky gets in the ring and looks like he’s going to have words with Austin but instead, picks up the Wraith and nails him with the ROCK BOTTOM!  The fans pop huge again.  Austin and the Rock leave.  The Stache recovers and sees the clippers and asks the crowd if he should use it on the Wraith.  However, he waited too long and the Wraith escaped.  The Stache then gets on the mic and tells the Wraith that the HCW isn’t big enough for the two of them and challenges him to a Loser Leaves Town match.  The Wraith says he’ll one up him and wants the Stache to put his Stache on the line.  If Stache loses, the mustache goes too.  GM Max McGillicutty comes back out and tells the Wraith that if wants that stipulation, he has to put his hair on the line.  After a bit of flubbing, The Wraith agrees.  The final show of the year will be “hair vs Stache” and the loser leaves HCW.  (17 min for the match; 30 for the full segment)

The World Champion Drew the Canadian Love Machine is backstage and says he has had it with the Savior and wants it all to end tonight.  He promises his family, his fans and himself that he will take care of business tonight.

Match #6:  Hardcore Champion the Masked Gentleman vs Texas Wildfire in a dog collar match is up next.  Texas Wildfire comes out first to a huge pop (so far, it was the loudest after the Rock and Austin) and he looks ready, not for a fight but for a war.  The Masked Gentleman comes out and he is still in possession of TW’s father’s prosthetic arm.  He uses it to wave to TW in the ring expecting to further get under his skin and put him off his game.  The ref first attaches the dog collar and chain to Texas Wildfire and after some hemming and hawing, MG finally gets his attached.  There is nowhere for either person to go.  Not sure what else to say other than Wildfire OWNED this match.  MG was totally caught off guard with the level of viciousness and bled early after multiple chain shots to the head.  MG was wearing a crimson mask under his…mask.  TW got a chair and brought it into the ring.  He then hit a leaping DDT on MG on the chair and the fans screamed “Holy Shit”.  TW went for a pin but only got a two count.   Wildfire hit a high cross body but MG kicked out.  After kicking TW in the face, MG tightened the dog collar on TW choking him out.  TW battles back and hits a hangman clothesline, goes for the pin but MG kicks out.  TW smashes MG’s head in the corner but MG eye rakes him. TW hits a huge powerslam but the pin is broken up after MG hits TW in the head with the chain.  MG drags TW to the corner, hoists him up to the top turnbuckle and then hits a Superplex.  TW begins to make it to his feet but MG nails him with TW’s father’s prosthetic arm.  MG makes the cover and hooks the tights and puts his feet on the ropes.  The ref doesn’t notice as he makes the count 1…2…3.  Masked Gentleman wins the match cheating all the way.   Wildfire is pissed.  He then begins whipping MG with the chain after the dog collar is removed and MG grabs his title and RUNS (either he was scared or had to use the bathroom).  Wildfire stays in the ring and celebrates with the fans who don’t care he lost.  As he leaves, he promises MG that he’s not through with him.  (16 min)

Backstage, Max says the match between the Wraith and the Stache will in fact be the main event of the final show of the year and will take place in a Steel Cage!  Max says it’s time for the Main event to get going so he’s sending us back to the ring…and since so much is on the line, it will be a no DQ/no time limit match.

Match #7:  Main Event:  World Champion vs S.H.I.T. Champion – winner takes all.  The Savior comes out first and is booed pretty heavily.  World Champion Drew the Canadian Love Machine comes out and the fans pop – almost on par with the Rock & Austin’s reactions.  The Savior attacks him before the bell but that doesn’t faze the CLM.  For 17 minutes, the match was practically even with neither man giving an inch.  The fans were on the edge of their seats and popped for each and every move.  At the 18 min mark, the Savior went for a brainbuster but that was reversed and Drew hit a handstand headscissors that sent Savior to the outside of the ring.   Savior got back in and nailed a Holy Uppercut.  Drew battled back with a series of slaps that dropped the Savior.  Drew went for a pin but Savior kicked out.  We now join the match at the 24 minute mark.

Drew the Canadian Love Machine has done it.  He is now the combined champion.   He celebrates in the ring climbing each corner turnbuckle and gets the fans to pop each time.  Unfortunately, due to HCW regulations, one man cannot hold two singles titles.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and asks Drew which belt he wants to drop.  After kissing the US title, he hands it to Max.  Max says tomorrow night will get us the final four and then crown a new US champion on Sunday.  He leaves to allow Drew to celebrate in the ring as the fans pop for him.  The show then comes to an end.

Be sure to turn in tomorrow for Day 2!!!

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #529 – Final house show before the PPV

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  This is the final show before our PPV this weekend.  As a reminder, the PPV will actually take place on Friday and Saturday and Sunday will be the final show of the year.  The owners and GM Max McGillicutty have been gracious in giving the roster time off during this family oriented holiday and they (including Masked Gentleman) deserve the time off.

The show kicks off and as the pyro goes off, our first match is immediately underway.  Pulling opening duty is Ivan Dragovich vs The Crocodile Hunter.  Ivan comes out to a good pop.  Croc comes out second and he too is well received by the fans.  Ivan was definitely the more aggressive right from the get go but things went sour when Karl Braun from the 5th Column came out on stage and began taunting Ivan.  Ivan took off out of the ring to confront Braun (who left) and Ivan got counted out.  Crocodile Hunter wins this one in 6 min via CO decision.  Ivan keeps heading to the back to find Braun.

We cut to the back in Max’s office and standing there with him is none other than the Stache.  The fans pop when they see him there.  The Stache asks Max to let him be in the PPV.  Max says he has a spot but questions if he should put him in a match.  The Stache requests a match against the Wraith.   “You know a match between he and I would be golden but if you’re concerned about putting asses in seats, I can bring a special guest and then not only will the PPV be a sellout, it will break all PPV records and be the highest rated show ever.  He is no stranger to these fans.  He will put even MORE asses in seats…the show will sell out but he will get you the extra views on PPV.”  He writes the name down on a piece of paper and hands it to Max.  His eyes go WIDE and he immediately agrees.  Max says “I’ll let the Wraith know that he has a match at the PPV.”

We go back to the ring for our next match.  First, the Fiend comes out and he’s looking like he’s in a better mood now that he’s back on a winning streak.  His opponent tonight is Jesse California.  The Fiend looked sharp and owned the match against Jesse but the longer it went on, the Fiend began running out of steam.  The Fiend went for the Devil’s Reign but Jesse reversed it and nailed a superkick out of nowhere.  Jesse immediately hooked the leg (and maybe a bit of the tights) and got the surprising win over the Fiend.  Jesse gets his arm raised and he leaves.  The Fiend looks disappointed and slowly makes his way to the back.  (15 min)

Max tells the Wraith that the Stache is back and wants a match at the PPV.  At first, the Wraith scoffs until Max shows him the piece of paper of who will be in Stache’s corner.  The Wraith’s eyes go all wide and he says he’s in but first he needs to make a phone call.  Wraith calls ??? and asks him to be in his corner.  At first there is hesitation until the Wraith (turning from the camera) tells him who the Stache will have as his partner and we DISTINCTLY hear the reply over the phone but we won’t print that here as to keep up the suspense.  If you really want to know, order the PPV now (the event is SOLD OUT).

Our third match begins with Outback Oscar coming our first and then followed by Pete the PUN-isher.  Pete tries to lay out some puns but the mic gets shut off before he can start.  Compounding that, Magnum Kone and his helpers Haagen & Daas make their way out and distribute ice cream to the fans at ringside.  This of course infuriates Pete.  For about 7 minutes, Pete was aggressive and barely gave Oscar time to catch his breath.  He then stopped and jaw jacked with Magnum but as soon as he turned around, Oscar leveled him and when on an offensive tear.  Now it was Pete’s turn to have his ass handed to him.  Pete almost had an opportunity after connecting with the Combing the Desert (Spaceballs reference) but seeing Magnum hand out his FAVORITE flavor ice cream (PB&J), he got irate and yelled at Magnum.  Oscar turned him around and hit a spinning elbow drop.  Oscar hooked the leg and got the 3 count.  Outback Oscar gets the win.  Magnum, feeling he accomplished what he wanted, left with his team.  (19 min)

HCW forensic analysist Gardinia Blue approached Max and told him she found out what was going on and took him to the Masked Gentleman’s locker room.  After knocking (rather hard) on the door, MG came out and asked what they wanted.  Max and Gardinia Blue began questioning MG why he was putting all these charges on Max’s cc.  Turns out MG is “using” Max’s cc to cover incidentals that were supposedly spelled out in his contract but Max had yet to provide.  Max tells him the gravy train has ended.  MG says you can’t talk to the Hardcore champ that way.  Max says he’ll do one better…if MG loses at the PPV, not only will he lose the title but will have to pay back all the charges he made.  MG counters and says that if he retains, he wants his setup re-established.  Max agrees but he has to pin or make TW submit; the deal is off if MG skates out on a DQ or countout.   Max then produces the new M&M’s MG asked for but they are mislabeled.  They say "#BlackNBlueSucks" on some and the others say "Says TW".  MG sees this and gets all huffy and storms back into his dressing room…without his candy.

It’s time to head back to the ring for more action.  First, Ant Graham comes out and introduces 5th Column member Oswald Zimmerman.  Next, music hits and out comes the Hashtag King CJ.  He gets a huge pop.  CJ glares at Graham and tells him to stay out of his business.  At the insistence from his manager, Oswald attacks CJ to kick off the match.  CJ let Oswald get is 30 seconds of fame and then the Hashtag tore right into Oswald.  Graham tried to interfere but ended up getting a fist to the face from his royalness.  CJ toyed around and finally finished off Oswald with a bulldog.  Just as he got up to celebrate, the rest of the 5th Column (Baron von Blood, Karl Braun & Wendell Hammerschmidt) hit the ring and began to beat CJ down.  CJ battled back like the champ he is and got some assistance when the Muscles Trio (Thorpe, Weasley & McGuire) hit the ring at went after the 5th Column.  This allowed CJ to go one on one with the Baron and showed him the exit after hitting the Baron with a flying dropkick.  The Muscles also disposed of their PPV opponents and CJ looked at the Trio and shook their hands before leaving.  The Muscles trio ran around acting all goofy and eventually left.  (8 min for the match; 12 min total)

The main event tonight will have World Champion Drew the Canadian Love Machine teaming with the Axe and Magnum Kone to take on S.H.I.T champion the Savior, Dr. Red Fang and (after demanding it from Max) Pete the Pun-isher.

Next on the card, it is announced that this next match will be a specialty rules match.  First, former Ladies champion The Duchess comes out to a decent pop.  He opponent tonight is her former manager Southern Belle.  It is determined that this will be an ECW rules match.  Belle started off by hitting the Duchess with the Moonshine and then tossing her out of the ring.  The Duchess caught Belle with a sucker punch.  Belle rammed the Duchess’ head into the ringside barrier before smashing her with a DVD player.  Duchess blasted Belle with a cookie sheet but Belle kicked out before the 1 count.  Belle then sprinkled thumbtacks on the mat and tried to suplex Duchess onto them but she nullified the move.  Duchess bodyslammed Belle on the thumbtacks and she writhed in pain.  Belle eye raked Duchess to gain her composure.  She grabbed a chair and brought it into the ring.  Belle then hit Duchess with the Southern Swing right on the chair!  The fans chanted “This is awesome”.  Belle goes for the pin but gets a 2 count.  Duchess then smacks her in the head with the cookie sheet and tries for a pin with her feet on the ropes but the ref makes her break the hold.  Belle then hits a victory roll and (without the ref seeing), she grabs the ropes for leverage and the ref counts 1…2…3!.  Southern Belle has stolen a win here tonight.  She leaves and walks to the back with her arms raised.  Duchess tries to complain but the ref leaves her to stew in the ring.  (11 min)

Gardinia Blue points out to Max that based on Article 18C, sub article K- Paragraph 3, Max can deny demands of one person and can give the “perks” to someone else.  Max deems Texas Wildfire worthy so he gives TW a bag of the “altered” M&M’s and TW says he will share them with the locker room.  TW says that MG assaulted his family.  They are fine but instead of pressing charges like any normal person would do, he says he will get even…how far is he willing to go to save the honor of his family?

Also backstage are the World Tag Team Champs – the Steel Curtain (Buzz and Starbuck Steel).  Buzz addresses Phat Sol & Red Hot Lucas Johnston telling them playtime is over and now it’s time to get down to business.  Starbuck says P&L are not worthy of this match and with it being Christmas time and all, they’ll give them a present…an ass whooping they’ve never experienced before and P&L will leave empty handed.  Buzz leans in and looks like he’s going to end it with “Word” but instead he nods and says “What he said”.

It is time for our Main Event:  Drew the CLM, The Axe and Magnum Kone vs the Savior, Dr Red Fang & Pete the PUN-isher.  Pete comes out first followed by Fang and his manager Ant Graham and finally the S.H.I.T. champion the Savior.  Next, Axe comes out first followed by Magnum and finally the World Champion Drew the Canadian Love Machine.  The 6 men wasted no time in beating the snot out of each other.  The faces had complete control over the match and Pete was left to fend on his own quite a bit as the Savior sat on the outside of the ring and was reluctant to get involved.  Fang brawled with the Axe on the outside of the ring.  After a grueling 40 minute battle which saw the Savior be involved for a whopping 3 minutes, Fang got caught by the La Casita and Drew made the cover for the 1-2-3.  The “good guys” secure a win right before the PPV.   All of a sudden, the Masked Gentleman made his way out looks disgusted and is holding something behind his back.  He is wearing a wireless mic (I wonder if he charged THAT to Max’s credit card) "TW, I didn’t go after your family, they were trying to climb into the ringside area to get MG's Autograph!, AND as far as your Dad is concerned......Let's just say I was giving him a...(raises his father’s prosthetic arm)...hand up.!" MG Laughs.   Texas Wildfire came out…like a wildfire and went right after MG.  TW had a lot of anger pent up and began taking it out on MG until the Masked Gentleman decided he’d had enough and after tossing TW into the steps, he took off through the crowd (claiming he wanted to be with “his” fans and that he wasn’t running away).  The show came to an end with TW starring daggers at MG.

The PPV card has been finalized and this is what it will look like:

Day 1
6 Man Trophy – 5th Column (Braun, Oswald & Wendell) vs Muscles Trio
Hardcore champion – Masked Gentleman vs Texas Wildfire.  Match type to be determined.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #528

https://hwfcswafantasy.blogspot.com
https://www.facebook.com/groups/HWFCSWAFantasy

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  We are coming into the homestretch for our year end pay per view Apocalypse.  This two day show is shaping up to be a very interesting card so be sure to get your tickets to the event now before it (very likely) sells out.

GM Max McGillicutty comes out to thank the fans for attending and announces that the PPV will host two different battle royals for future title shots – one for the ladies and one for the men.  After this announcement, the show begins.

The first match of the evening is a rematch from our last show.  Mountain Man Junior Huber vs the Fiend.  Huber comes out first to booing from the fans while the Fiend gets a pop.  The Fiend has been in a bit of a funk since losing the Hardcore title but he easily controlled the match dominating his much larger opponent.  The Fiend took out some of his frustrations on Junior and put him away after nailing the Project 1950 headbutt in 23 minutes.  After the match, the Fiend looked at the camera and said he was coming back for his belt.

TV Champion ScooterJ is not live at the show but sends a taped message that plays over the Omegatron.  He tells the Elitist Reid Rothchild he will accept the challenge for their match at the PPV and promises Reid will wish he just stayed at home.

The camera cuts live to the audience and the three family members of Texas Wildfire (his father, wife, son, and daughter) are in their seats and wave to the fans.

The Masked Gentleman comes out carrying a bag but since there is no match going on, we are wondering what he is doing here as he is not scheduled to wrestle.  He enters the ring and asks for two chairs.  MG then takes the mic and says he is debuting a new honest-to-goodness talk show and says it will be called “MG’s Pit” (in reference to Rowdy Roddy Piper’s version from the 80’s).  The fans boo and it only gets worse when he reaches into the bag and pulls out a kilt.  He puts it on and the fans express their distaste for this man.  MG tells the fans to “shut their pie holes” so he can get this segment started.   He says the fans don’t like him and he doesn’t care but they will care about his first guest on this premiere show.  MG calls out his guest and it’s none other than the Texas Wildfire.  The pop he gets is louder than anything we’ve heard in a while.   TW makes it to the ring and MG asks him to sit down.  TW refuses and kicks the chair away.  He immediately gets into MG’s face and the two begin to have words.  The Omegatron goes off and TW is momentarily distracted.  MG then takes advantage of the distraction and he reaches into his bag and pulls out…what the hell…a coconut.  TW turns around and MG blasts him with the coconut (in reference to what Piper did to Jimmy Snuka) and it explodes into pieces.  TW is busted open.   MG then pulls a semi-conscious TW behind him and drags him over to his family.  MG begins to taunt TW’s family.  The kids start crying and MG tells them to SHUT THE HELL UP and tells TW’s wife that she is looking at a real man and not the trash he’s dragging around.  TW’s wife slaps MG across the face.  TW’s father stands up to defend the family and MG notices he has a prosthetic arm.  MG yanks on the arm and then pushes him down forcibly.  MG drags TW back into the ring beats him with the prosthetic and hits him twice with the Welcome Mat.  The fans are ready to riot.  MG, pleased with himself, leaves.  Medics come out and help TW to the back.

Backstage, the Savior cuts a promo for tonight’s match against El Chango for the S.H.I.T. title.  Most of it is drowned out by the fans still spewing their venom for what MG just did to TW.

Next up we have a 6 Ladies tag team match.  First, the team of El Gato Negro, Scarlett Phoenix and Kimberly Kiccass come out to a nice pop from the crowd (the seemed to have calmed down after a riot almost broke out).  Their opponents are the Queen’s Court – The British Crippler, Lady Hermann and Queen Beckett.  The Court makes their way down to the ring for the match.  While the match was pretty even, the team of El Gato, Scarlett and Kimberly actually did slightly better.  The majority of the match saw Queen Beckett fight Kimberly Kiccass.  6 minutes in, she caught the Queen with a dragon sleeper but the Court broke it up.  After the teams rotated in an out, Queen Beckett was back in against El Gato. After reversing a Wall-O-Cato, Beckett locked in the Her Majesty’s Smash but Gato would not quit.  The British Crippler gets in and after a moment, gets caught by the Gato paw. El Gato goes for a pin but Lady Hermann makes the save.  Lady Hermann takes over pounding on the Black Cat but El Gato makes the hot tag to Kimberly.  Kim gets in and cleans house catching Lady Herman with a Christo and goes for a pin but only gets 2.  The Court double team Kimberly but El Gato and Scarlett are in to even the odds.  Kimberly then nails the Crippler with a Michinoku driver and dumps her out of the ring.  The court tend to their fallen teammate which results in a countout.  The Court loses this one by countout.  Kimberly, Scarlett and El Gato celebrate before leaving the ring.  (20 ½ min)

Backstage, MG orders another prime rib while munching down on teal M&M’s.  He sticks his head outside his dressing room and screams out, "MAX! I need more Teal M&M's, but I need them personalized! I want them to say “#BlackNBlueCrew” and others to say "TW Sucks" And don’t give me ANY flack that it won’t fit on an M&M…MAKE IT FIT!" MG Slams his dressing room door.

Match #3 is on and this one has Angry Jack Lawson heading to the ring first.  His opponent is escorted by his manager MJ and it’s the Ragin Cajun Rad Gumbo.  Gumbo carries a sign that reads “Gumbo 7:30 says its Suppa Time Bitch” and MJ carries one reading “Should be the catchphrase of the year”.  The Cajun makes short work of Lawson after catching him with the Onion Twist (Muta Lock) and Jack tapped out.  (3 min)

Back in Max’s office, the Wraith is complaining about not being on the PPV card.  Max tells him things are not yet finalized and there is still a chance.  The Wraith questions if Max is holding him back and is told “No, in fact, you have a match next”.  The Wraith complains he hasn’t had time to prepare but Max tells him to Man Up and get to the ring before he changes his mind.  The Wraith storms out.

Handsome Hernandez comes out first to start this off and he is booed but when the Wraith comes out, the fans care less about him.  The Wraith and Hernandez go toe to toe for 3 minutes until the theme from the TV show “Bonanza” blares over the loudspeakers.  The Wraith looks around wondering why it’s playing and he looks up and sees the Stache’s picture on the Omegatron.  Distracted, Hernandez catches him with a cross arm breaker.  The Wraith taps out pretty quick bringing this one to a fast finish.  The Wraith looks around as he leaves wondering just what the hell is going on.

El Chango is backstage with his Desperados teammate Leon Teremoto and El Chango says tonight he picks up a singles title that will hold him over until they can once again get their hands on tag team gold.

Match #5 is next.  Mr. Wrestling #5 coms out first to a mixed reaction.  His opponent Superstar Chic Monroe comes out but has a mic in hand.  He complains about El Chango getting a title shot when it should be him getting it.  The fans boo him and he eventually gives up.  This was relatively another short match which didn’t see a whole lot of offense going on.  A chant of “Speed things UP” started and MW5 nailed Monroe with the Million Dollar kneelift which elicited a pop from the crowd.  Monroe picked up Mr. Wrestling 5 and dropped him throat first on the top rope before hitting a swiss uppercut that sent 5 out of the ring.  Monroe followed him out and hit a Cradle Facebuster on the floor.  He rolled back in and MW5 got counted out.  The Swiss Superstar Chic Monroe steals a win via countout.  (7 min)

Back in his office Max notices that his cc had been experiencing quite a few extravagant charges as of late (prime rib, beer kegs, teal M&M’s) and had forensic accountant Gardinia Blue investigate.   Max calls and puts the cc on hold preventing any future charges until he can figure out what is going on.

Texas Wildfire is backstage being checked out by medical and says he looks to be shaken up but otherwise ok.  TW looks at the camera and tells MG that it’s one thing to go after him but once he involved his family, he crossed the line and has made it personal and he will take it out on him at the PPV.

It is time for the Main Event:  The Savior vs El Chango for the S.H.I.T. title.  Desperado member El Chango comes out first to a mixed reaction.  Next, the Saskatchewan Heavyweight International Title holder the Savior comes out and he is booed pretty heavily.  For about 10 minutes, both men were pretty evenly matched until the Savior hit El Chango with a powerbomb against the edge of the ring.  After that, the match pretty much was in the champ’s favor.  As the match progressed, El Chango got a little desperate and tossed the Savior out of the ring trying to buy him some recovery time.  It didn’t work out that way as the Savior was back in pretty quick and nailed El Chango with a spinning heel kick.  The champ made the cover and with his foot on the ropes, got the 1-2-3.  The Savior wins this one and retains his title.  His celebration is short lived as World champion Drew the Canadian Love Machine ran down and the two of them started to brawl.  A gaggle of refs had to come out and separate the two.  When that didn’t work, half of the locker room came out to try and separate them.  The show came to a close with the two men glaring at each other from opposite sides of the ring.

Thanks for reading.  We have one show left and should have the final PPV card posted before the PPV.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #527

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Today’s show starts off with pyro and out comes Master Bull and ‘the Elitist’ Reid Rothchild.  Reid is BACK.  He gets into the ring and is handed a mic.  He tells the crowd that his ankle is 100% healed and that he is ready to return to the ring.  Reid says that he did not listen to Master Bull and it cost him the TV title.  That all changes as he issues a challenge to ScooterJ for a rematch for the title at the PPV but for now, he has a match.

Match #1:  Reid Rothchild vs Tobias Snake.   This one started off a bit slow as Reid shook off the ring rust but quickly found his groove and took the match to Tobias.   Master Bull provided Reid with Intestinal Fortitude but Tobias squashed that pretty quick with the Dirty Deeds.  Master Bull pointed out a weakness and Reid exploited it and went for a quick pin but just got 1.  Reid nailed a Reidarooni and then tried for the Figure Four Reid Lock but Tobias made it to the ropes.  Tobias rolls out of the ring but is back in by the 5 count.  Tobias went for a lariat but Reid reversed it and nailed the Snake’s DDT.  Reid then locked in the Figure Four Reid Lock and this time Tobias tapped out.   Reid is victorious in his return match.  He and Master Bull celebrate before leaving.  (9 min)

GM Max McGillicutty makes the match between King CJ and Baron von Blood official for the PPV.

Match #2:  Mountain Man Junior Huber comes out first and his opponent is the Fiend.  The Fiend comes down to the ring and does not look good.  I guess he’s been in a funk after losing the Hardcore title.  Fortunately, he was the longest reigning HC champ so he will get a rematch.  The match barely gets started before Hardcore Champion the Masked Gentleman comes out and attacks both men (he’s mad because he is not on the card today).  The ref immediately throws out the match resulting in a no contest.  Texas Wildfire hits the ring and disposes of MG.  TW challenges MG to a match at the PPV for the Hardcore title.  MG accepts and then leaves in a huff.

MG Walks in and as he heads to his dressing room, he shouts, "Texas Wildfire will rue the day he imposes himself into MY Business!"  MG Slams his dressing room door.

Match #3:  Missy Chick vs Sarona Reiher.  Sarona started off strong and owned Missy for the first 8 minutes of the match but she could not get her down for a pin attempt.  Missy caught her with an exploder suplex and that changed the pace of the match.  Sarona tried for a savate kick but Missy nullified it.  Sarona went for a superkick but that was reversed and Missy threw Sarona into the corner and went for running corner back elbows but Sarona got out of the way.  The only HOLY SHIT moment came when Sarona went for a Superfly splash but Missy caught her mid-flight and nailed an exploder suplex.  Missy connected with a diving back elbow.  Sarona hit a samoan drop but Missy held on and locked in a scissored armbar.  Sarona tapped out pretty quick.   Missy Chick gets the win in this hard fought battle.  (14 min)

While sulking in his dressing room, MG realizes that Max and the rest of HCW are just trying to promote Texas Wildfire because it’s the holiday season, and they are just giving to those less fortunate. MG’s too fortunate to worry about the broke little boys and girls, so he stays in his custom Dressing room and tries to forget about the others less fortunate like TW.  In a sudden burst of the holiday spirit, MG decides to give in to those less fortunate like TW and the TW fans, so he throws a box of T-shirts that read “MG doesn’t like me either!” out into the others dressing rooms for the others to wear.

Max finds the box and gathers what hasn’t been taken (some are burning them; others using them as cleaning rags) and takes them to Goodwill however, they know MG’s reputation and actually deny the donation.

Match #4:  Outback Oscar vs Sonic Blade.  Oscar comes out first to a big pop followed by Sonic Blade who gets an equal reaction.  Both men shake hands and this one begins.  For 9 minutes, Sonic put up a hell of a fight but after that, the injury he received the last time he wrestled began to surface and for the next 10 minutes, he got in maybe 4 offensive moves.  Oscar dominated the rest of the match and polished him off with a swinging neckbreaker.  (19 min)  After the match, Sonic had to be helped to the back by the ref.

World Champion Drew says he’s giving the Axe a long overdue title shot tonight.  Drew says “May the best man win.”

Match #5:  The Smashers vs the Ryzing Storm. The Smashers come out first with their manager MJ.  Next, the Ryzing Storm (Travis and Terra Ryzing) come out and are actually cheered because they hate the Smashers more.  MJ has the Smashers attack the Ryzing Storm before the bell and finally once the ref gets control, the damage has been done.  Travis was injured for 5 minutes and that left Terra on his own and it wasn’t pretty.  Terra was dominated in the ring and after being beat on for almost 10 minutes, he made the hot tag to Travis.  Travis was only in for 2 minutes before succumbing to injuries and Terra had to take over.  Unfortunately, it did them no favors as the Smashers hit him with the Steel Smasher and then Smasher #1 hit the ropes and grabbed a handful of Terra’s hair and yanked and flipped him.  Smasher #1 made the cover and got the very easy 3 count.  The Smasher stood victorious and MJ led them from the ring. (19 min)

The Texas Wildfire came out to cut a promo in the ring.  TW is wearing a black t-shirt with white letters that read #burnMGtshirtChallenge:

“The other day I was comin’ home from a hard days training and as I was jogging on the road I saw a group of dogs on the side of the road. There was one dog who kept growlin’ and carryin’ on. He would growl at the other dogs and they would back up in fear. Now a lotta people would say….that’s the big dog. Some people would sayyyy…that’s the Alpha dog. But I kept lookin’ and I saw one dog who wasn’t scared. One dog who didn’t cower in fear. I saw that dog rise up and snap on that bully dog. MG…you a bully dog! I’M THE ALPHA DOG! So when you’re growlin’ and carryin’ on like a fool, I’m not backin’ down! I won’t…cower in fear! I’m snappin’ on you! With these fans behind me I got nuthin’ to fear!” *Pauses while waiting for the crowd’s applause to die down* “So MG, when you feel like stomping’ on a defenseless man I’ll be right there to…snap! When you decide to talk yo silly trash I’ll be right there to…snap! (Crowd says snap! in unison with TW) When you feel like goin’ too far I’ll be right there to…*SNAP*! When you feel like bullyin’, the ALPHA DOG will be right there to…*SNAP*!” (Huge pop from the crowd as TW high fives a bunch of fans at ringside.)

The Masked Gentleman is in the back and he cuts a promo of his own.

MG Raises an eyebrow and shakes his head at such a feeble attempt to unnerve MG. "Boy, the only thing you can rattle is a baby rattle. You cannot unnerve MG, many have tried; all have failed, so take a number boy, MG is untouchable. TW will find that he is not even in the same league as I am. I am the dominate athlete in HCW…and everyone knows it.  Be sure to tune in to the next show for a showstopper event."

It is time for our Main Event:  Drew the Canadian Love Machine defends the World title vs the Axe.  The Axe comes out first and receives a huge pop.  Next, the Champ comes out and the place goes nuts.  This guy is so over.  Drew makes it to the ring and shakes hands with the Axe before posing for the fans. As expected, Drew controlled the entire match and the Axe struggled to keep up with him.  Drew hit the Axe with a powerbomb right off the bat and that set the pace for the rest of the match.  We join now at the 10 minute mark.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #526

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  As we mentioned at our last show, our PPV is starting to take shape.

Something that transpired last show is what took place backstage after the Masked Gentleman came back with his title.  We cut to that video.

MG Walks back to the backstage area, and bypasses Max with his newly predicted title around his waist, he looks at Max, and says, "That lettering (pointing to “CHAMPION” on his dressing room door) is now going to be covered in Gold.”  He smirks and walks away heading to his dressing room as the closes the door behind him.

Tonight’s show begins backstage with the new Hardcore Champion the Masked Gentleman storming into GM Max McGillicutty’s office and is very upset that Texas Wildfire once again spoiled his moment.  MG says he’s angry (Hulk Smash) and demands a match tonight.  Max says he will add him to the card but MG must defend the Hardcore title tonight.  MG protests. "You cannot tell your Hardcore Champion what to do!  I could arrange a sit in!  Don’t force my hand!"  MG walks off back to his dressing room.   Max shakes his head.

The show kicks off with Ravishing Ruby Princess making her way down to the ring.  She is carrying a cardboard version of the Ladies title and acts like she’s the champion.  Her opponent comes out and it’s Scarlett Phoenix.  Scarlett owned the match and Ruby struggled to remember how to fight like Raquel does.  We actually passed the 20 minute mark but no one ended the match.  All of a sudden, the Ladies Champion Ravishing Raquel comes out and walks down to the ring.  Ruby is even more off her game now.  After dropping Scarlett with a lariat, she runs to the ropes but Raquel makes a swipe at her foot.  Ruby curses at Raquel before hitting the ropes and taking off again…right into a flying bodypress from Scarlett.  Scarlett made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Raquel walks backwards up the ramp smiling as Ruby stares daggers at her from the ring.  (23 min)

Backstage, the Axe arrives and meets up with some of creative.  He hears them mention that the Shockmaster needs an opponent for tonight.  Axe walks over and volunteers.  Ok…he on the card tonight.

Our next match begins with the Hardcore Champion the Masked Gentleman making his way out first (odd that a champ comes out first…and that he doesn’t have his title).  He gets in the ring and makes hand gestures (not obscene though) to the fans.  Next, out comes Ferb Huber.  MG is in the ring and is pumping himself up.  Ferb enters the ring and just as the bell rings, MG runs into Ferb and then falls down.  Ferb makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  What the HELL?  Ferb asks for the Hardcore title but it’s not there.  All of a sudden, another person dressed as the Masked Gentleman comes out.  Again, What the HELL?  The first MG recovers and rolls out of the ring as MG#2 enters (with the Hardcore title I might add).  MG#1 removes his mask and it’s…LOL…Texas Wildfire!  The fans pop huge.  The ‘real’ Masked Gentleman yells at TW as he takes off to the back.  Ferb questions what just happened and the ref had to explain that wasn’t really a match.  The bell rings and this match (Brass Knuckles rules) starts off.  MG had the first couple of minutes but then Ferb got hold of the brass knucks and blasted MG with it but it didn’t take him out.  In fact, after kicking the knucks off of Ferb’s hand, MG took control of the match and beat him silly.  At the 11 minute mark, MG picked up the brass knucks and bloodied up poor Ferb.  MG then hits him with the Welcome Mat and followed it up with a Superplex.  MG made the cover and got the 1-2-3 giving him his first (hard fought) win as Hardcore Champion.  He took his title and went to the back.  (14 min)

Backstage, Pete the PUN-isher is being interviewed and he says he will give the “King of the Throne” his match at the PPV.  Pete adds “And just like his nickname alludes to, I will FLUSH Magnum once and for all.”

Next, we go back to the ring for our next match.  First, the Shockmaster comes out to a mostly negative reaction.  His opponent the Axe comes out next and is much better received.  Axe had control of the match for the first 7 minutes until Dr. Red Fang, accompanied by his manager Ant Graham, came out and stood on the ramp.  Neither Axe or Shockmaster knew why he was there.  Shockmaster hit the Wave of the Future but only got a 2 count.  Shockmaster then took control with Axe getting in some really good shots along the way.  After planting Shockmaster with a powerslam, he crouched down to set up the Axe.  Just as he was going to execute it, Dr. Red Fang ran down and grabbed his leg.  Axe managed to shake him off but not before Shockmaster caught him with a power clothesline.  Shockmaster made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Shockmaster gets another rare win.  Fang gets in the ring as Shockmaster leaves and Fang picks up Axe before hitting him with the Vampire Lunge.  Fang climbs the turnbuckle and screams “Vampire Lunges for Everyone!”  He didn’t notice that Axe had recovered rather quickly.  Graham noticed it and bailed out of the ring.   Fang turned around only to take a knee to the stomach and a power punch to send him out of the ring.  Ant Graham gets on the mic calling Axe a thief for stealing this match (Fang was supposed to take on Shockmaster).  Axe tells Fang that if he wants a match, the two of them could have one right here and right now.  Graham says that would pander to the fans which they do not.  He suggests that the two of them meet in the ring at the PPV.  Axe accepts.  Fang and Graham leave while Fang snarls at Axe.  (20 min for the match; 5 for the extra segment)

Dude USA Mick Rude is in the house.  He says tonight he gets to take on Wilber Townsend and with another win, he guarantees himself a future title shot.

Madame Jade vs Betsy Cummings is the next match up.  Jade comes out first followed by Betsy.  For the first 4 minutes, Betsy controlled the tempo of the match limiting Jade to just one offensive move.  After that however, things changed and Jade exploded.  Betsy couldn’t keep up and so she signaled to her twin sister Felicia to come out but the ref was aware of what she was doing and banned Felicia from ringside.  As Betsy tried to complain, Madame Jade caught her with a springboard dropkick.  Jade quickly rolled Betsy up and go the 1-2-3.  Madame Jade is victorious.  Felicia then ran down trying to attack Jade but she quickly got out of the ring and Felicia & Betsy were left stewing in the ring. (17 min)

Backstage, TV Champion ScooterJ says he is the main event tonight and defends his title.  When asked about Reid Rothchild potentially returning, ScooterJ calls him washed up and a has-been.  Reid will never step foot in the ring with him again because next time, he will break his neck.

As we begin to wind down the show, our next match is ready to go.  Dude USA Mick Rude comes out first and he is followed by Wilber Townsend who surprisingly is accompanied to the ring by his cousins the Huber Clan.  Interesting to see the family united.  Dude doesn’t let the distraction get to him.  Mick took the match to Wilber and of course, Wilber had to cheat.  Just a few minutes in, Wilber tossed Mick to the outside of the ring where the Huber Clan beat him down while Wilber distracted the ref.  The family then left and Wilber stood back while the ref counted Dude USA out. Wilber gets the win via countout.  (4 ½ min)

The Masked Gentleman steps out of his dressing room to get the press pictures with his new title around his waist as well as maybe answering some press questions. MG states he will answer all questions except any about Texas Wildfire getting up in his business again. The first person asks about TW which gets MG irate and as he throws a chair at that press member, he screams "It's MY MOMENT! This Interview is OVER!!!" MG leaves and goes back into his dressing room.  Once back in his dressing room, he yells to one of the caterers to order him a prime rib and bill it to the GM.  A delivery man shows up at MG’s dressing room to deliver a keg (monthly).  He puts it on Max’s cc.

It is time for the main event.  First, the challenger Desperado member Leon Teremoto comes out.  Next, the TV Champion ScooterJ comes out all cocky.  ScooterJ definitely underestimated his opponent and Leon took advantage of that however the champ held the lead.  ScooterJ got a bit concerned after Leon hit a spinebuster.  Leon threw him into the corner and charged but ScooterJ caught him with a superkick and he quickly rolled Leon up and (with a foot on the ropes) got the win.  ScooterJ is victorious in his match.  All of a sudden, the Omegatron starts flashing like a strobe.  Once it settles down and the lights normalize, the champ turns around and standing in the ring is ‘the Elitist’ Reid Rothchild.  Reid and ScooterJ began trading punches until Reid nails ScooterJ with a Reidbottom and the champ rolls out of the ring.  Master Bull appears out of nowhere and stands with Reid.  ScooterJ makes his way up the ramp glaring at Reid as the show comes to an end.

Stay tuned for more action.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #525

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  We at the HCW hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving or whatever you may celebrate wherever you are.

The show begins with the Hardcore Champion the Fiend arriving to the arena.  He’s curious as to why some nobody called him out.  Ok, whatever.  He’ll just deal with him as he’s done with everyone else he’s faced.

Pyro goes off and our show kicks off with some tag team action.  Kicking off this non-title match starts with the Desperados (El Chango & Leon Teremoto) heading to the ring first.  Next, the Tag Team Champions the Steel Curtain (Buzz & Starbuck Steel) and they get a huge pop. The Steel Curtain double team Leon as he tries to get some offense started but fails.  Things pick up after El Chango gets in but after getting caught by Starbuck’s shooting star buck, things went back to the champs.  Buzz cleaned house for a few minutes but tagged Buck back in.  Starbuck catches Leon Teremoto with the Shooting Star Buck and makes the cover for the 1-2-3.  The Steel Curtain are victorious in tonight’s match but then P&L (Phat Sol & Lucas Johnston) hit the ring and attacked and beat down the champs.  Phat drops Starbuck with the Phat’s Enough and Lucas planted Buzz with a tornado DDT.  The Ambassador stands with his team in the ring hovering over the Curtain before leaving.  (13 min for the match; 5 min for the segment)

Manager MJ knocks as he enters the Masked Gentleman’s dressing room and praises his talent.  MJ makes an offer.  Says he can lead him to gold.  MG asks for his credentials.  MJ talks about leading teams to tag team glory and how he is able to keep Rad Gumbo in the upper echelon of wrestling.  MG sits back and appears to be a little impressed but expresses that he feels MJ has too much on his plate already with Rad Gumbo and the Smashers and feels he wouldn’t get the proper credit/time.  MG says that if things change in the future, MJ is worthy of consideration.  MG says (as he chomps on his teal M&M’s) that he now needs to prepare for his title shot in the main event tonight.

We head to the ring for our next match.  First, Jesse California makes his way out and then over the loudspeakers blares “Gumbo 7:30 says its suppa time bitch”.  Rad Gumbo w/ MJ make their way to the ring.  Jesse started off strong and it took a few minutes for Gumbo to find his groove.  However, it came after a huge offensive of Jesse hitting a jumping reverse bulldog followed by a shoulder jaw breaker and finally a jumping DDT.  MJ, thinking Gumbo was not going to recover fast enough jumped on the apron and slugged the ref resulting in a disqualification.  Jesse, ticked off, made a grab for MJ but he managed to slip away at the last moment.  Gumbo and MJ made their way to the back as Jesse high-fived the fans before leaving.  (10 min)

Ruby Princess says that Raquel has been dodging her and tonight will be a night that she will never forget.

Magnum Kone vs Junior Huber is up next.  Junior came out first followed by the King of Cones – Magnum Kone.  Magnum starts off hitting a huge bodyslam but then Junior gets up and hoists Magnum over his head and hurls him out of the ring.  While Junior was distracting the ref, Pete the PUN-isher came in from the crowd and hit the PUN-t to the head dropping Magnum.  Pete took off through the crowd.  The ref began to count and got to 10 before Magnum was able to make it back in to the ring.  Junior Huber wins this one via countout in just under 60 seconds.  Magnum makes it to his feet and asks for a mic.  He throws out a challenge to Pete for a match at the PPV.  I guess we’ll have to wait to see if Pete accepts the match.

Backstage, Ravishing Raquel says she is defending the Ladies title tonight against Felicia Cummings and if Ruby sticks her nose in again, she’ll take it right off.

It’s time for the next match.  First, Sonic Blade comes out to a pretty good pop.  Tonight, his opponent is the Crocodile Hunter.  Both men shake hands as the match begins.  Croc starts off with a bodyslam but then Sonic climbs the ropes and hits an Alhambra Attack but lands awkwardly on his ankle and he goes down.  Croc then locks in an ankle lock and Sonic taps out almost immediately.  Crocodile Hunter scores a quick win via submission in 90 seconds.  Croc helps Sonic up and to the back with the crowd cheering on both men.

GM Max McGillicutty says that the Steel Curtain vs P&L will take place at the Apocalypse PPV in December.  He expects another PPV announcement to be forthcoming.

Ravishing Raquel vs Felicia Cummings for the Ladies title.  Felicia goes on the offensive catching the champ with an arm drag and Raquel connects with a butt drop.  That took all the air out of Felicia’s sails and Raquel locked in the Ravishing Armbar but Felicia made it to the ropes.  As soon as Felicia let go of the ropes, Raquel locked in the Ravishing Chickenwing and drove Felicia to the mat.  She tried to drag herself to the ropes but no such luck.  She finally gave in and tapped out.  Ravishing Raquel retains her title in quick fashion.  This of course gave Ruby time to run down to the ring and dropkick Raquel from behind.  She then hit the Simply Ravishing on Raquel and she was out.  Ruby hollered at her that she wanted a title shot and she was going to get it.  Ruby left and Raquel got to her feet as the fans cheered.  Raquel got on the mic and told Ruby to be careful what she wishes for as she will grant Ruby a shot at the title at the PPV.  The fans popped again as Raquel left.  (3 min for the match; 3 more for the segment)

GM Max comes out and acknowledges Raquel vs Ruby at the PPV.  He now says it’s time for the main event.

As Max is making his way to the back, the Masked Gentleman comes out and pushes Max out of his way as he saunters down to the ring.  Max waits until the Hardcore Champion the Fiend comes out to a pop from the crowd.  Max shakes his hand and tells him to kick MG’s ass.  The Fiend makes it to the ring and is asked what type of match he wants.  The Fiend thinks about it for a second and says “Cole Miners Glove”.   The glove is then attached to a hook and raised above one of the corner turnbuckles.  MG immediately attacks the Fiend but the Fiend stops him with the Devil’s Reign.   MG hits a powerslam but the Fiend grabs some of JR’s BBQ sauce and throws it into MG’s face.  The Fiend hits the Project 1950 and MG nails a superplex.  He goes for the pin but only gets a 2 count.  MG complains to the ref for being slow.  MG turns around and gets hit by the 3 Hits from Hell.  MG hurls the Fiend out of the ring but he makes it back in a 9.  We catch up at the 6 minute mark just after MG hit the Fiend with a fireball blinding him.

MG pushes the ref away and continues to pound on the Fiend as the bell continues to ring.  All of a sudden, Texas Wildfire rushes down and with a flurry of punches, he winds up and nails a discuss punch sending MG out of the ring.  TW stands over the Fiend to prevent any further attacks.  MG hollers at Texas Wildfire and he rubs his jaw and backs up the ramp with his NEW title.

Thanks for reading.  Now that we have some matches for the PPV announced, I would expect to see more finalized over the next few weeks.  Stay tuned.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #524

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Well, the HCW got this one in just in time for Thanksgiving and then will take a much deserved break and return on Sunday.

Today’s show kicks off with 6 man tag team action.  First, the Snake Pit (Leiton, Niven & Tobias Snake) come out first.  Next, wearing their rainbow colored bull horns and their very colorful jackets come the Muscles Trio (Muscles Weasley, McGuire and Thorpe) and they run around acting all goofy and interact with the fans briefly before heading to the ring.  This match is for a future shot at the 6 Man Trophy.  This one was chock full of action with each team member getting equal time in the ring.  Just as they were nearing the 20 minute mark, GM Max McGillicutty came out and told the ref that he doesn’t want the first match of the night to go to a draw so he makes this one a no time limit match.  The competitors continued to give it their all with the Snake Pit holding the slight advantage over their opponents however it all came to an end after Muscles Thorpe hit Tobias with the E-Train.  The Muscles Trio get the win and will secure a future shot at the 6 man trophy.  All of a sudden, all 4 member of the 5th Column (Wendell Hammerschimidt, Baron von Blood, Oswald Zimmerman and Karl Braun) hit the ring and attack and beat down the Muscles Trio.  Ant Graham saunters into the ring and with a mic in hand, tells everyone that anyone who challenges the 5th Column will end up like this (points to the Muscles Trio laid out).  Graham takes his team and they all leave the ring.  (31 min for the match; 36 for the segment)

Max is back in his office and he has 4 men standing there…The Axe, King CJ, Rad Gumbo and Wilber Townsend.  Max tells them that currently, they are top contenders for the World title but all appear to have gone a bit stale.  Max says they will all be in a Fatal Four Way tonight but the person who is pinned will be OUT of the title hunt.

We head back to the ring for our next match.  The Ambassador comes out first and introduces P&L:  Phat Sol and ‘Red Hot’ Lucas Johnston.  The Ambassador says that the road to the tag team titles continues here and that the Steel Curtain better not ever turn their backs on these guys.  Next, their opponents Adam Jameson and Billy Robbins comes out.  It took about 6 minutes for P&L to get into a groove but after that, the match was all them.  The Ambassador distracted AJ and BR multiple times and they tried to retaliate but had no luck.  Billy tossed Phat out of the ring but when he tried for a flying bodypress, the Ambassador snagged his foot.  This gave Phat time to get back in the ring and he hit Billy from behind with a forearm smash.  Phat made the cover and with his foot on the ropes, got the 1-2-3.  P&L got a win.  The Ambassador gloats briefly before they all leave.  (11 min)

The Masked Gentleman barges into Max's Office and demands that Max go wait outside a Best Buy so that MG can have a new stylus for his Laptop, and for Max to get it on Black Friday.  Max tells him to go do it himself and escorts MG out of his office.

We head back to the ring for the next match.  Ferb Huber (from the Huber Clan) makes his way out first.  His opponent, the TV Champion ScooterJ comes out next.  ScooterJ gets on the mic and says that his title is not on the line in this match as he just wants to get some exercise in.  ScooterJ must have been rustier than normal as he did not do well in this match.  It also didn’t help when Master Bull walked down to ringside and sat at commentary.  ScooterJ went for a high impact move climbing to the top turnbuckle but Master Bull grabbed his foot delaying him executing his move.  Annoyed, ScooterJ jumped without watching where he was going and Ferb NAILED him with a discus lariat.  Ferb made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Master Bull then asks for a mic as ScooterJ tries to recover in the ring.  “You’d better watch out…you’d better not cry…you’d better not pout I’m telling you why…Reid Rothchild will be com-ing back.”  Master Bull leaves the ring while ScooterJ stews.

Backstage, manager Ant Graham meets up with the Masked Gentleman.  Ant makes an offer saying he can offer him wealth.  MG asks for his credentials.  MG says he’s impressed with the viciousness Ant brings to the ring but not impressed with his win/loss record.  MG says he’ll have to think about it.

Our next match kicks off with ‘Fabulous’ Taylor Bella taking on El Gato Negro.  For the first 8 minutes, Taylor schooled her opponent.  It wasn’t until El Gato hit her with the 9 Lives before the tide changed.  In fact, El Gato started tearing into Taylor and Taylor began to panic.  Taylor slid out of the ring and El Gato followed.  Taylor then caught her with a dropkick that sent El Gato crashing into the ringside barrier.  Taylor rolled back into the ring at the last minute beating the count.  The ref counted to 10 and counted El Gato out.  Taylor Bella wins the match via countout.  El Gato recovered pretty quick and chased Taylor to the back.  (14 ½ min)

Max decides, for the main event, to have Biceps Bannerman take on Mr. Wrestling #5 to see who will be the #1 contender for the Hardcore title.

We’re back to the ring pretty quick for our fatal four way.  The Axe vs King CJ vs Rad Gumbo vs Wilber Townsend will all fight to hold their position while the person who gets pinned is out of the running.   World Champion Drew the Canadian Love Machine comes down to sit at commentary to scout the match.  First, the Axe comes out to a pop.  Second, the Ragin Cajun Rad Gumbo comes out with his manager MJ.  Third is Wilber Townsend and man, is he freaky.  Finally, the Hashtag himself, King CJ comes down to the ring.  For probably the first 6 min of the match, all 4 men were in the ring beating the snot out of each other.  Finally the ref got the Axe and Gumbo out of the ring.  CJ then hit Wilber with a bulldog but somehow Wilber got his foot on the ropes to stop the count.  CJ than began psyching up the crowd but when he turned around, Wilber hit him with a short arm clothesline.  Wilber rolled him up and put his feet on the ropes as the ref made the 3 count.  Wilber Townsend gets the win and unfortunately, King CJ is out of the running for the World title.  As the commotion settled down in the ring, a commotion began outside when the S.H.I.T champion the Savior ran in from the crowd and attacked Drew.  After dropping the champ with the Holy Uppercut, he got on the mic.  The Savior then proposed a match between him and Drew at the PPV with the winner taking both titles.  Drew, seething, accepted the match.  GM Max McGillicutty came out and after verifying this is what Drew wanted, he made the match official.  (16 min for match; 5 for the segment)

Backstage, the Masked Gentleman sees he’s not on today’s card and gets pissed.  He walks off in a huff.

It is time for the Main Event:   First, Mr. Wrestling #5 comes out to a decent pop.  Next, Biceps Bannerman comes out and the fans insanely pop for him.  Before the match could begin, the Masked Gentleman came down and got in the ring. He then attacked MW5 and Biceps before getting hurled out of the ring by Bannerman.  Max McGillicutty came out and said he’s tired of MG constantly running down interfering in matches so he lets MG into this one.  The match started off with MG hitting MW5 with a Welcome Mat before tagging Biceps in.  Bannerman looked annoyed but he and MW5 actually had a good match (MG stole a fan’s chair and sat at ringside instead of standing on the apron).  MG finally decided to get back involved in the match.

The Masked Gentleman gets the win at the 12:40 mark.  MG immediately picks up a mic and challenges the Hardcore Champion the Fiend to a match at the next show.  The Fiend comes out to a pop and says he will accept the match.  The two stare at each other as the show comes to an end.

Thanks for reading.  Stay tuned…more action to come.
