HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 06.08

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  When the last show ended, a mysterious person was invited into the dressing room of Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.  The Shield members told us that this mystery person will be introduced during this show.  We are intrigued to see who it is.

We have gotten confirmation that Master Bull is not coming back.  Charges have officially been leveled against Bull and it is apparent that he won’t be seen ever again.  GM Hulk Hogan is in charge for the remaining shows for June.  It is expected that a new GM (or interim if they cannot locate someone to do this full time) should be announced at the first show in July.

The show begins with Madame Jade coming out to the stage with a microphone. “Ladies and Gentlemen, the woman who turned the woman’s division on its ear…Jupiter Jane.”  Jane comes out and takes the mic.  “I promised to make an impact and that I did.  I should be the champion if it weren’t for someone sticking their nose in my business.  Taylor Bella, you said you know me but guess what…I KNOW you.  One has to be able to stand on their own.  Sure, Madame Jade is my tag team partner but I proved one thing in the battle royal…I CAN stand on my own.  You and I get to meet for the Diva’s title.  Bring what you’ve got; I’ll bring what I’ve got and we’ll see where it goes from there.”  Jade and Jane then depart.

The first match of the night is AJ Styles taking on Kazarian.  AJ was beating the tar out of Kazarian until US Champion Christopher Daniels ran down and interfered causing the DQ.  AJ gets the win but this one is far from over.  (13 min)

CSWA World Champion Austin Aries comes out and challenges Bray Wyatt for the Undisputed Title.  Bray comes out and says he’ll accept the match but first, it has to be World champion vs World champion.  If Aries can defeat him (as the HWF World Champ) then he can have a match for the Undisputed Heavyweight title.  Aries accepted.

Kevin Owens says that Samoa Joe is hiding from him and says that if he has to go through each member of the Enforcers to get to Joe, he will and says he starts with issuing a challenge to Ryback.

We go back to the ring for our next fight which so happens to be the second of 7 between Kurt Angle and the Caped Crusader.  Angle went very aggressive to start.  He nails an Angle Slam right out of the gate and almost gets the 3 count right there.  He then locked in the Angle lock and almost twisted the foot right off the Crusader.  CC has no choice but to tap out…in 2 minutes.  Angle tried to go after him but security came out and prevented any further altercation.

Taylor Bella (with her sisters the Bella Twins) cuts a promo saying that there is GOLD in her future and she realizes a lifelong dream…to become the Diva’s Champion.  And if she takes Jane out in the process…all the better.

The Enforcers come out (Ryback, Samoa Joe and Mark Henry) and they say that they are ready to throw their names into the mix for the 6 man titles.  Out comes Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.  They say that the Shield also wants a shot at those belts again.  Ryback laughs and says that Ambrose can’t count. There are only two of them.  Rollins says “Yeah but our new partner hasn’t been formally introduced.  Hey, why don’t we do that right now?  Ladies and Gentlemen…the newest member of the Shield…was a FOUNDING member of the Shield.”  Music hits and ROMAN REIGNS makes his way out.  The crowd pops huge. The Shield (the original) are BACK together.  The Enforcers immediately attack Ambrose and Rollins but Reigns runs in and nails Samoa Joe with a spear knocking him from the ring.  Kevin Owens, who was hiding in the crowd, comes out and nails Joe with a chair and then smacks Ryback in the back with it.  Reigns then hits him with a spear eliminating him from the ring.  The Shield then hit Mark Henry with a TRIPLE POWERBOMB and he rolls out of the ring. Owens hits Ryback once more with the chair and then salutes to the Shield before leaving. The Shield stand victorious in the ring while the Enforcers try to recover from the shock.

Big E Langston comes out and calls out Alexander Rusev.  He says that Rusev cost him the North American title.  Rusev answers with “so?” and the Big E blasts him with huge lefts and rights sending him out of the ring.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says these two will be meeting at the next show.  He then orders them both out of the ring.

After they left, he gets on the mic and introduces tonight’s competitors for the Diva’s title.  First, Jupiter Jane comes out and makes her way down to the ring.  She is accompanied by her tag team partner Madame Jade.  Next, Taylor Bella comes out with her sisters Nikki and Brie.  This is one fall to a finish.  During the match, the ref takes a bump and goes down.  Jane manages to lock Taylor in the Tarantula and after a minute of excruciating agony, Taylor taps out but the ref doesn’t see it.  Jane releases the hold and goes to check on the ref.  Southern Belle runs down and goes after Madame Jade and chases her to the back.  The Bella twins then jump in the ring and beat down Jupiter Jane.  Just as the ref is waking up, the twins hightail it out of there.  Taylor kicks and stomps on Jane and connects with a sunset flip.  She hooks the leg (and the tights while holding the rope for leverage) and gets the 1-2-3.  ‘Fabulous’ Taylor Bella has just won the Diva’s Championship.   Jane had rolled out of the ring and rolled back in with a chair and chased all the Bellas from the ring.  She grabbed a mic.

“You know, I’ve proven I can handle things on my own while you, Taylor, someone who needs assistance from her sisters has proven that you cannot.  At the end of the day, we are who we are and if you continue to rely on someone else to get yourself ahead, well, you’re just gonna fail. There are battles and there are wars.  You can win the small skirmishes but at the end of the day, when the war comes to an end, there will be one victor and I can PROMISE you that her name won’t end in Bella.”  She drops the mic and then leaves to a huge pop from the crowd.

It is time for the main event.  First out is Bray Wyatt.  He walks to the ring with a mic in hand.  “There are several different types of men in this world. There are men who dream and never make it off their couch. There are men who dream and fail. And then there are men who dream and change the landscape of this world, people like Austin Aries. What about you, man? That's what I want to know. Aren't you tired of feeling unwanted? Aren't you tired of feeling like an outcast and being stepped upon? Well then today is your day because today is the day that Bray Wyatt decided he was going give you an opportunity. Time to put up or shut up.”  He waited in the ring for his opponent Austin Aries to come out.  Aries comes out to huge pop.  He rushes the ring and then poses.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and makes this a lumberjack rules match.  He sends down lumberjacks to surround the ring (to prevent the competitors from running away).  Aries had his A-Team members there as well as the new World Tag Team Champions the Desperados, Ethan Carter III, Robbie E and Rockstar Spud.  The lumberjacks weren’t really needed as Aries and Wyatt kept the action in the ring.  Bray was destroying Aries….horribly.  It wasn’t until 12 minutes in, Aries hits a dropkick that sends Bray out of the ring…in front of the A-Team.  Antonio Cesaro and Adrian Neville beat down on Bray until Brock Lesnar comes out and hits Bray with the F-5.  Bray gets rolled back in.  Aries then hits a 450 splash and picks up the win.  Austin Aries is now going to get a shot at the Undisputed Heavyweight title.  Wyatt leaves on his own but Brock Lesnar stands at ringside staring at Aries.

Thanks for reading.  Looks like stuff is already shaping up.  Stay Tuned.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 06.07 (PPV fallout)

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  This issue deals with the fallout from the Great American Bash.  Master Bull is not here tonight.  He leaves a message on Hogan’s machine “Hogan, Bull.  I won’t be in.”  Hulk hears odd music playing in the background; almost like Master Bull is at some party.  I guess we know where his priority lie.  Hulk mumbles “Shit is hitting the fan and he’s not around.  Not good...brother.”

We cut to the stage where newcomer Madame Jade (who was one of the wrestlers who came in from the audience) has a mic in hand.  “Ladies and Gentlemen.  At the Great American Bash, one woman upset the status quo.  One woman went out and made a statement.  One woman walked away with the Diva’s title.  THAT woman is here tonight and SHE is the future of the Diva’s Division.  I present to you…Jupiter Jade.”

Jupiter Jane (our other mysterious wrestler who came in from the audience at the Bash) comes out holding the Diva’s Title.  She and Madame Jade walk down to the ring to a mixed reaction from the fans as they don’t yet know how to perceive them.  There is a ref in the ring and he is asking for Jane to relinquish the title but she refuses.  Taylor Bella runs out and goes after Jupiter but GM Hulk Hogan comes out and gets them to stop.

Hogan says that Jupiter WAS an employee before the Great American Bash so she is an active competitor BUT she is not the champion as she was not in the triple threat match.  Hogan then goes off talking about the other people who’ve been signed which includes Madam Jade, another female wrestler Summer Rae and Mr. Wrestling #5.  With these 3 women and Mr. Wrestling #5 being added to the ever expanding roster, the landscape is getting more and more competitive.  Hogan says he has plans in motion to bring in more talent but nothing has been finalized.  “But I digress...back to the Diva’s championship…he says there will be a 16 person tournament with the winner becoming the NEW Diva’s champion and that match is next.”  Hogan says that the list will be comprised of Cactus Jackie, Taylor Bella, Jupiter Jane, Southern Belle, Madame Jade, Spider Violet, Nikki Bella and Brie Bella, Ravishing Raquel, Natalya Neidhart and Alicia Fox, Sasha Banks, Summer Rae, Charlotte Flair, Gail Kim and the Women’s Champion Paige.

Once all the women made their way down, the match officially began.  This is a list of the order of elimination and by whom:

Madame Jade eliminates Alicia Fox
Sasha Banks eliminates Nikki Bella
Southern Belle eliminates Paige
Gail Kim eliminates Spider Violet
Charlotte Flair eliminates Brie Bella
Jupiter Jane tosses Taylor Bella out w/ help from Madame Jade but she doesn’t go over the top rope
Summer Rae eliminates Cactus Jackie
Ravishing Raquel eliminates Natalya
Sasha Banks eliminates Madame Jade
Gail Kim eliminates Southern Belle
Jupiter Jane gets pulled out of the ring by Taylor Bella (not eliminated)
Ravishing Raquel eliminates Summer Rae
Gail Kim eliminates Sasha Banks
Charlotte Flair eliminates Ravishing Raquel
Gail Kim eliminates Charlotte after Taylor Bella, Jupiter Jane, Southern Belle and Madame Jade caused the distraction with their fighting around ringside.
Jupiter Jane sneaks back in the ring and eliminates Gail Kim.  Taylor Bella sneaks back in and grabs Jane and they both go over the top rope and hit the floor at the same time.  This one is deemed a no contest as there is no winner.  Hogan comes back out and says that the two finalists – Jupiter Jane and Taylor Bella will have a match with the winner becoming the new Diva’s champion. The two finalists have a staredown until Madame Jade led Jupiter Jane away and the Bella twins practically had to drag their sister from the ring.

Our next match is Layla El challenging Southern Belle for her title shot at the Women’s Championship.  Belle is trying every underhanded maneuver she can do to get the upper hand but it is not working.  Madame Jade comes out and Belle gets distracted.  Layla ends up catching her with a headscissors and pins her with it at the 24 minute mark.  Belle loses her title shot.  She is not happy and goes after Madame Jade.

Backstage we see Box Office Megastar the Rock who is here meeting with friends.  He meets up with the Desperados (El Chango and the Stache) and thanks Stache for the honorable mention and congratulates them on willing the titles.  He says that he and Mick Foley (the Rock N Sock Connection) couldn’t beat the Ascension but he is happy that finally someone did.  As he is leaving, he bumps into a very pissed off #CJ and they have a staredown before #CJ walks away.

#CJ comes out on stage and has a mic.  He says that tonight, he is bringing out a team that took the world by storm early in this century and introduces the NWO (Kevin Nash, X-Pac and Scott Hall).  They all head to the ring and the fans pop for the trio.  #CJ seems a bit put off by this.  He then proceeds to go on a rant… talking about how men like them and #CJ made this industry, the highest point of sports entertainment.  The fans begin to drown him out with their cheering of the NWO.  Now #CJ is getting pissed.  He tells them they are just like the rest of this business…old, washed up has-beens trying to steal his spot light for beer money and $2 prostitutes.  They question his attitude and he goes out to grab a chair.  Nash pulls a quad trying to get away; Hall falls down and rolls out of the ring (is he ok?)  and that leaves X-Pac all alone.  #CJ  then blasts X-Pac with the chair knocking him out.  He then drops the chair and leaves to the boos from the fans.

We cut to the back and we are in Hogan’s office where he is meeting with owners Mr. Bychowski and Mr. Meyers.  Hogan says that irregularities have surfaced in the books and a few weeks ago, he hired Gardenia Blue, a forensic accountant to sort through the data looking for suspicious activity.  Ms. Blue presents her findings which shows that GM Master Bull has been skimming box office receipts for over a year and (based on the word of a PI) was feeding his strip club habit. Ms. Blue did say that it is hard to follow the cash once it’s been converted to $1 bills.  Owners Mr. Bychowski and Mr. Meyers call Master Bull.  He answered the phone pretending that he was at the show.  When they said that they were here and Bull wasn’t, they demanded an explanation.  Bull had nothing to say.  The owners tell him what the forensic accountant found.  Again, Bull remained silent.  The owners say they’ll make Bull an offer – he pays back all the money he stole (turns out to be about $100K) and resigns as GM or charges will be filed.  Master Bull hangs up on them.  DB and JM say that they are immediately suspending Master Bull pending further investigation and put Hulk Hogan in temporary charge until a new GM for the HWF can be determined.  Mr. Meyers  comments that Mr. Bychowski has been the GM before but DB says that he’s “been there and done that.”  As the owner and now a retired in-ring competitor, he doesn’t want this level of involvement anymore.  He’s had his run and now its long islands on the beach.  He will find someone new to step in.  Gardenia Blue is hired full time to manage the books and ensure they are properly maintained.  She will answer directly to owner Mr. Bychowski.

We head back to the ring but not for a match.  Sting, the Scorpion Warrior is there with a mic.

“I am not one to come out here and make excuses.  I had Bray Wyatt beat.  It was because of the interference of Brock Lesnar that I, the Scorpion Warrior, am not standing here as the HWF Champion.  Brock, you cost me the title.  Now, you’ve just made yourself an enemy and opened a Pandora’s Box that you will regret ever messing with.”

Brock Lesnar’s music hits and he comes out but he remains on the stage.  “Are all of you THAT stupid?  Has no one been listening to what I’ve had to say?  For weeks, I’ve said that I was going after the HWF title.  I said that it didn’t matter who got in my way.  None of you listened and now you get to deal with ME.”  He walks down to the ring.  He enters and gets in Sting’s face.  “I did what anyone who was in line for a title shot would have done…secured MY chances.  You have a problem with that old man?  You see this title (he holds the IC title in Sting’s face), this belt means I’m #2 in the HWF.  THAT is unacceptable.  Brock Lesnar, the Beast Incarnate, is either the top dog or doesn’t play.  I’m here to play.  Sting, you got in my way and paid the price.  Now I’m the number one contender for the HWF title.  I will do what no one else has been able to do. I will defeat Bray Wyatt and become the HWF World Champion.  I will then snuff out anyone else who challenges me and I will take the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship and will be THE man.”

Sting:  “Wow.  You sure are full of hot air there Brock.   Thinking really highly of yourself, huh?  Tell you what…you think you’re the top contender well guess what…I’m the top contender for that there title (the IC title) and you aren’t going anywhere until you and I have settled our matter.  I can and will defeat you and once I do, I will take that title and then get the rematch against Wyatt and without you around to interfere, I will take the World title too.”  The two get in each other’s faces and the suits from the back came out to separate the two.

The next match is a title match between Prestige Inc. and Robbie E, ECIII and Rockstar Spud for the 6 Man tag team champions.  This one goes 17 minutes and sees the champs retain after Sandow nails Spud with a spinning elbow drop.

Shield members Ryback, Samoa Joe and Mark Henry come out and say that the Shield is dead and that they are changing their name to the Enforcers.  Rollins and Ambrose can keep what’s left of their pathetic team as the Enforcers will take over the world.  Ryback says that the Shield name is worthless now.

Ryback and Henry remain in the ring as their match is up next.  Joe goes to sit at commentary.  Their opponents are 2 members of the A-Team Antonio Cesaro and Adrian Neville.  For the first 8 minutes, the A-team looked to be in control but it seems without CSWA World Champion Austin Aries out there to even the odds, there was no one to stop the constant interference from Samoa Joe.  After a 22 minute battle, Mark Henry nails Neville with a huge splash and pins him.  The Enforcers looked pretty bad-ass in this match.

We cut to the back where we see Kevin Owens walking out of the Shield’s dressing room.  You hear Seth Rollins say “Kevin, are you sure you don’t want to reconsider?”  Owens replies “I appreciate you guys having my back against Joe and his loser buddies but Kevin Owens is a one man band.  No hard feelings and I hope you both find the right man to put the Shield back together again.”  Kevin leaves.  (Cut to inside the room).  Ambrose and Rollins are talking and there is a knock on the door.  It opens (we don’t see who it is).  Rollins says “Well, as I live and breathe.  Have a seat why don’t cha.”

The show comes to an end before we get to see who that is.  Stay tuned for more action.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 06.06 – The Great American Bash – Day 2

A car pull up and just as that person is supposed to exit the vehicle, someone new strolls in front of the camera and heads for security.  The camera guy follows.  He walks up to the guard who questions why he is here.  “I am here because my name was mentioned. This is my ID.”  He shows it and the guard lets him in.

Master Bull makes his way out with Hulk Hogan and they thank the fans for attending the show. They say that tonight, the matches will be dedicated to the memory of Dusty Rhodes.  Hogan asks for the timekeeper to ring the bell 10 times and asks for a moment of silence…brother.

The show starts off with Big Show making his way down to the ring.  As he enters the ring, his music stops and a voice booms through the speakers:

“Hello, My name is James Earl Jones.  (pop)  You probably know why I’m here.  I’m here to introduce the man…the myth…the legend…in his own mind that is.  (pop)  Anyway, he’s paid me a lot of money to do this so here it goes.  Ladies and Gentlemen…YOUR Hardcore Champion…#CJ.”

#CJ makes his way to the ring for his Hardcore title match against Big Show.  The camera pans the audience and there, in the front row, is actress January Jones.  #CJ approaches Ms. Jones and tries to hit on her.  She says “Not if you were the LAST (Mad) Man on Earth.”  She winks to the camera and then slaps him across the face much to the approval from the fans.  Big Show is laughing at #CJ from the ring and I think that only incites him more.  #CJ won’t get in the ring and that starts to piss off the Big Show.  Finally, after enough posturing, #CJ enters the ring and the match begins.  Almost immediately, #CJ jumps on the back of the Big Show and begins to choke him out.  This match is boot camp rules so there is no DQ.  #CJ finally begins to weaken his challenger down (or so he thinks) and as he goes for a pin, Show pops up and nails a chokeslam.  Now is when it gets good.  The two hit each other with everything they’ve got.  #CJ would hit Show with a chair and Show would hit him with a knockout punch that would send him flying out of the ring.  He just dust himself off and went back on the attack.  I don’t think this reporter has ever seen #CJ this aggressive. We won’t say he owned the Show but he sure as hell did hold his own.  This went on for almost 30 minutes.  Both men looked exhausted.  In a desperate move, #CJ locks Show in a guillotine choke.  He holds it for almost 45 seconds and just as the clock was almost out of time, Big Show TAPS OUT!  HOLY CRAP.  Big Show submitted.  #CJ wins the match and seems that he can barely stand.  He tries to pull himself up but has a hard time at it.  His music is cut off and out comes the latest winner of the money in the bank contract – the “King of Cones” Magnum Kone.  Kone says he is cashing in for his title match right now.  #CJ cannot believe it.  He just went through hell and survived and now this.

The match begins and now we have ECW rules.  We are not sure how he pulled it off but #CJ managed to hold his own even in his exhausted state.  It must have seemed like an eternity but was only 5 minutes long.  Magnum locks in the drumstick (armbar) and used that to pin #CJ.  Magnum Kone wins the match and is now the NEW HARDCORE CHAMPION!  #CJ ends up being helped out of the ring and the fans are now happy they have a champion they can believe in.  Magnum then calls to the back and out comes some suits pushing ice cream carts.  Magnum gives all the kids at ringside an ice cream of their choice.

CSWA World Champion Austin Aries walks in and approaches GM Hulk Hogan.  He says that this show would not be complete without ‘the Man’ on the show.  Hogan agrees and welcomes him to the show.   Hogan says that Aries will be defending his title tonight.  Aries asks if he is the main event (he should be) but Hogan says that Bull won the coin toss and Bray Wyatt vs. Sting has that.  Aries shakes his head and walks off.

MW3’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring.  He says that he’s been around for a long time and after some serious thought, he decided that he would hang up his mask to let someone else take over.  MW3 says that he officially retires allowing Buff Austin to become the next Mr. Wrestling #5.  MW3 then calls down Buff Austin who makes his way down but not dressed as Mr. Wrestling. Austin says that MW3 is retired and the ‘Main Event’ did what he wanted and that was rid the HWF and CSWA of MW3 once and for all.  Mr. Wrestling #4 is in the audience (not at ringside as he couldn’t afford the seat).  He laughs and says ‘finally’ when MW3 is tricked into retiring by Buff Austin.  Austin tells MW3 to get out of his ring.  MW3 leaves to the cheering of the fans but this is not the way he wanted to go out.  Our mystery guy from earlier then makes his way out.  The fans are confused.  This guy interrupts Buff and says that even if he wanted to, he could NEVER be Mr. Wrestling 5.  “I AM the REAL Mr. Wrestling 5 and I ALONE carry that moniker.  You have NO right to even think of yourself as one of us as you are NOT and NEVER will be worthy.”  Buff says that he will take on Mr. Wrestling 5 anytime, anywhere.  5 says it will happen sooner than Buff thinks.  He walks off.  MW3 runs back down to the ring and nails Buff Austin with the MW2 kneelift.  Austin falls out of the ring holding his face and MW3 celebrates with the fans before leaving.

Our next match is ready to begin and it is a 3 way no disqualification battle for the Diva’s title between Taylor Bella, Ravishing Raquel and Southern Belle.  After all 3 women made it to the ring, almost immediately they double teamed Belle beating her down.  After Belle was taken out, Taylor’s sisters the Bella Twins came out and they all beat down on Ravishing Raquel.  All of a sudden, 2 new women whom we’ve never seen before come in from the crowd.  They take out the Bella twins leaving Taylor by herself.  Taylor tries to fight them off on her own but the numbers are too overwhelming and she succumbs.   One of the new women throw Belle back into the ring and they take off through the crowd.  Belle crawls over and covers Taylor for the 1…2…KICKOUT.  Taylor still has something left in the tank.  She battles back and hits a sitout facebuster.  She makes the cover but Raquel gets back in the ring and breaks the count.  Raquel throws Taylor out of the ring and then locks in the Simply Ravishing on Belle.  Belle manages to make it to the ropes to break the hold.  One of the mysterious women hits the ring again beats down on Raquel before hurling her out of the ring.  She turns and looks at Belle and then a light goes off.  Belle remembers who this is.  Back in April, there was a fan who was displaying a “Belle is #1” sign.  Belle walks over and gives her a hug.  We hear her say “I knew you’d make it.”  The new woman says “No thanks to you.”  She then blasts Belle with some lefts and rights and drops her with a springboard cutter.  She covers Belle (the ref couldn’t remember all who was in this match) and the ref counted 1…2…Taylor pulls her off.  “Who do you think you are interfering in my match?  I know who you are…Jane.”  ‘Jane’ then starts beating down Taylor and drops her with a cutter.  She looks back and sees Belle charging but she moves and Belle goes flying out of the ring.  ‘Jane’ then drags Taylor back into the middle of the ring and hits a powerbomb (we later are told this move is called the ‘Jupiter Landing’.  She covers Taylor and the ref counts 1…2…3.  Jane grabs the Diva’s title and quickly leaves through the crowd.  I’m not sure she can be the champion as she was never supposed to be in that match.  (25 minutes)

We head back to the interview area where the Desperados (El Chango and the Stache) are being interviewed by roving reporter Clarkus Kentus.  El Chango starts: “Our time is now.  Ascension, you’ve run ruckshot over all the teams in the HWF and CSWA.  Now, on our home turf, you are taking on the Desperados.  We’re ready for you.  Your days of false intimidation are over.  It is OUR time now.  Stache…”

The Stache is handed the mic.  “Well howdy folks. It’s been a while since I’ve been back in ol’ El Paso (pop from the crowd), and it’s damn good to be home. In my travels I have made good friends (motions to El Chango), and a foe or two, but tonight in our home town, The Stache and El Chango are going to make you proud. I have a message for our opponents the Ascension; I may be a nice guy outside the ring, but don’t get it confused, I’m like Bushwacker (#1 hardest PBR bull to ride) ready to buck these greenhorns out of our town! The Ascension better get ready for The Desperados to…as the most electrifying man in sports entertainment would say…lay the smackdown on their candy asses! Yee Haw!  Oh, and one more thing. Free Fruit Roll-Ups and Slim Jim’s for all!”   Coupons fall from the ceiling and the fans all scramble to get as many as they can.

We head back to the ring (after a bit of maintenance was done to clean up the coupon mess) and Dean Ambrose vs Christopher Daniels will be a No DQ match for the US title.  The two immediately begin slugging it out. This, for sure, is not going to be a wrestling match as Ambrose is here to fight.  Daniels was able to tame the ferocity of Ambrose with pure skill.  For every punch and eye gouge Ambrose would inflict, it was met by takedown after takedown that would have made some ultimate fighters proud.  After about 15 minutes, it seemed Ambrose ran out of gas and Daniels took over.  Ambrose however, would not quit.  What ended up being a 26 minute on-the-edge-of-your-seat match, Daniels finally puts Ambrose away with the Angels Wings.  After the match, Daniels’ tag team partner Kazarian came out to celebrate but that was cut short by AJ Styles who ran down and chases Kaz through the crowd.

HWF World and Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt is in the back cutting a promo.  He is in a dark room sitting in his rocking chair.  "You ain't got nothing in this world, man, if you ain't got power.  Without power, we would all just be tiny little mice trapped in the jungle running for our lives from tigers.  (He turns on a light.)  Power, man, power can be so addicting. You need power. You crave power, and I just so happen to think that power, it will be the downfall of all mankind as we know it, man. After all, a powerful man is to be respected but a weak man is less valuable than the dirt that stains his clothes. Power and influence, that's my game, man. As long as I'm living right here, right now with you, my people, inside of this Universe, the HWF Universe, that right there represents all the power I could ever need (he holds up the HWF World and Undisputed Heavyweight titles).

"I want y'all to do something for me real quick, man. I want you to take a look at my brothers right here (he motions to the monitor, turns it on and points to fans in the audience wearing the sheep masks). Take a long, hard look. Judge them as you will. And know that by every label that your society has, they are viewed as outcasts. Worthless, like dirt. But oh how the world works in such mysterious ways. Because tonight, at the Bash, there will be a fight and I will destroy Sting and take every bit of power he’s ever had.

"Power and influence, power and influence, power and influence; tonight, I will stand at the top of this mountain and I will change the world as it is forever. Because here, at the top of the mountain is my absolution. Waiting for me is my glory and the change that you all have been praying for. All I have to do is reach up and take it. And when I do -- and I promise you, I will -- I will truly be able to say that I have the whole world in my hands."  He ends the segment cackling uncontrollably.

We go back to the ring for our next match which was just added earlier today:  Austin Aries vs Seth Rollins for the CSWA World title.  Rollins, member of the Shield, comes out first.  He is then followed out by ‘The Man’ Austin Aries.  These two have a lot to live up to and they do not disappoint.  They tore the house down with dazzling and breathtaking moves.  For 12 minutes, these two went toe to toe with neither giving an inch.  After that, though is a different story.  Aries had tossed Rollins out of the ring and laid him on the Spanish announcers table.  He climbs to the top and hits a 450 splash right on Rollins and right through that table.  HOLY SHIT chants echoed throughout the packed stadium.  Just before the ref could count them both out (neither were doing much moving), GM Hulk Hogan came out and said that there is no countout in this match and it will continue.  Aries somehow got to his feet first and dragged Rollins along with him.  They moved much slower after that.  The match went for another 10 minutes and came to an end after Aries hit a slingshot corkscrew press to get the 1-2-3.  Austin Aries retains his title.  Fellow A-Team members Antonio Cesaro and Adrian Neville came out to help him from the ring while the shirts came out to assist Rollins. (22 min)

We cut back to the interview area where the Tag Team Champions The Ascension and MJ are and they keep it short.  Konnor says “There is no way in hell that those chumps the Desperados are taking anything tonight.”  Viktor adds, “You’re right Konnor.    Stache says he wants to dedicate the match to Dusty Rhodes?  Well guess what…Rhodes…wherever he is…will be mighty disappointed.   Hahaha”  MJ then takes the mic.  “The Ascension are the greatest tag team to ever dominate the HWF and CSWA.  Former champs Donnie B and MW3…where are they now?  Out of a job…that’s where.  We destroy everyone in our path and tonight, the Desperados will follow suit.  Let’s go boys…time to head to the ring.”

We head to the ring for the next match which will be for the World Tag Team titles. The champions, the Ascension, are taking on home town boys the Desperados (El Chango and the Stache).  The champs came out first and got pelted with whatever the fans could find (not bolted down).  The challengers came out next to the loudest pop of the night.  They high-fived the fans at ringside before entering the ring.  This one went 16 minutes and, as we thought, was controlled by the champs.  The challengers kept tossing the champs out of the ring so that they could catch their breath.  The Desperados would not stay down as constant saves kept their hopes alive.  MJ interfered on multiple occasions but would always plead innocent.  Finally he got caught and was sent to the back much to the dismay of his team.  They kept on fighting though.  Towards the end of the match, Konnor and El Chango had just got done beating the snot out of each other and both made the desperate tag to their partners. Viktor charges the Stache but he kicks him in the gut and hits a tombstone piledriver.  Viktor battles back with a backbreaker but Stache powers out of it and hits the ropes and nails the Whiplash.  He makes the cover as El Chango runs over and takes out Konnor.  The ref makes the count 1…2…3.  The place EXPLODES as the Desperados become the NEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!!  Viktor and Konnor drag themselves to the back while the hometown heroes grab fans from the audience and bring them in to the ring for pictures with the champs.

As the celebration is going on in the ring, Sting is sitting by himself.  He looks at the camera and says that tonight, he is ready.  Tonight will be the night he puts an end to Bray Wyatt.  Tonight, the crow will feast on the carcass of Bray and he will be no more.  He stands up.  “The Scorpion Warrior” will end you Bray…that is a promise.”

GM Master Bull comes out and says that this match will be a no count out/no DQ match.  The time limit has also been extended to 60 minutes to let these two bring this one to a close.  There will be a champion tonight.   He heads to the back where he runs into GM Hulk Hogan.  “I have stuff to go take care of.  The rest of the show…as it is…is yours.”  Bull walks away as Hogan calls “You’re leaving before the show is even over…brother?”

It’s time for the main event.  Bray Wyatt puts the HWF World title on the line against the Scorpion Warrior Sting.  The challenger Sting comes out first to a nice pop from the crowd.  He is then followed out by the champ who gets booed.  Sting immediately goes on the offensive trying to put Bray off his game.  It mostly worked in his favor but not by much.  The champ stayed right there with him.  Sting got Bray locked in the Scorpion Death Lock right in the center of the ring and just when we thought Bray was done, he found the intestinal fortitude to drag himself to the ropes to break the hold.  Amazing.  Bray rolls out of the ring to try to recover but Sting won’t let up.  Bray catches a break when Sting, who just whipped Bray into the ringpost on the outside of the ring, charged and pounced but Bray moved and Sting smashed against the post.  After a few minutes, Sting dragged Bray into the ring and hit his running splash 3 times.   Sting goes on the outside of the ring and dumps a trash can of weapons in the ring.  Bray grabs the golf club and nails Sting in the groin and then hits Sister Abigail but he is in no shape to make the cover.    He picks up Sting and, after spreading thumbtacks in the ring, executes a suplex right on the thumbtacks.  Sting is writhing in pain.  Bray falls down in the corner.  Just as Sting makes it to his feet…music hits and out runs…BROCK LESNAR!  Brock hits the ring and nails Sting with the F-5.  He then leaves right away.  Bray stands up and begins laughing.  He takes a steel chair and then grabs Sting and connects with Sister Abigail on the chair.  Bray discards the chair and makes the cover.  The ref counts 1…2…3.   Bray Wyatt has just defeated Sting.  He is handed the title when all of a sudden, Brock comes back out and blasts Bray with lefts and rights and then drops him with an F-5.  Brock picks up the HWF World title and holds it over his head as the show comes to a close.

Thanks for reading.  I’m sure there will be plenty of fallout after this show.  Stay Tuned.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 06.05 – The Great American Bash – Day 1

The show begins with a recap of the life of Dusty Rhodes – The American Dream.  Dusty passed away at the age of 69.  We at the HWF and CSWA remember Dusty fondly and he will always symbolize “the American dream” for all of us.  The bell rings 10 times and pictures of Dusty throughout his career show on the Omegatron.  RIP Dusty.

Welcome fans to the Great American Bash.  We are here LIVE in El Paso, TX – the home (away from home) of the Desperados – El Chango and the Stache.  The Desperados will be in action tomorrow against the Ascension for the Tag Team titles.  Will luck (or skill) be in their corner or will they become “just another victim” to fall to the might of Viktor and Konnor?

The show officially begins with GM’s Master Bull and Hulk Hogan coming on to the stage and welcoming everyone (BROTHER) to the show.  Bull states that all title matches will be one fall – winner takes all.  Hogan says that the fans deserve this added day (and man, are they straining from the rafters) as this building is so full it is about to explode.  Hulk says that it was an honor to work with Dusty Rhodes and says he will be missed.  The fans start a “Thank you Dusty” chant and it goes on for a few minutes as another montage plays on the Omegatron.  Hogan and Bull leave the stage to let the fans appreciate Dusty Rhodes one last time.

As Bull and Hogan make their way to the back, they run into everyone’s favorite jackass #CJ.  #CJ arrives and says his “special needs” need to be taken care of ask where his dressing room is.  (Editor’s note:  by the end of the show, #CJsSpecialNeeds is trending worldwide).  He lambasts Master Bull & Hogan and gives them crap about not utilizing the #HardcoreChamp the way he should be used.  Master Bull gets into #CJ’s face and gives him the option to pick a number between 1 and 6.  If he chooses correctly, he gets the main event.  If not, he will be in the spot he is writing down right now.  Bull writes a number on a piece of paper and gives it to Hogan.  #CJ picks…6 because he’s a main eventer.  Hogan shows the number and it was 1 because Bull says #CJ always thinks of himself first.  #CJ seems to be ok with being the opening match for tomorrow’s show.

We head to the ring for our first match which is a Last Man Standing rules match between Buff ‘Main Event’ Austin and MW3.  As a reminder, Austin asked GM Hogan to make this a match were the loser would be forced to retire.  Austin comes out first to booing from the fans and he is followed by MW3 who gets a good pop.  MW3 hits the ring and Buff bails.  This goes on for 2 minutes and finally Buff gets in the ring.  The two of them are fighting all over the place and hitting each other with everything but the kitchen sink.  This one ends up going the full 30 minutes and just as Buff hit the Pain Killer, the match ended in a draw.  Both men actually got huge applause from the fans.  GM Hogan came back out and said that the Bash doesn’t begin with a draw and there will be a winner.  Hogan instructs the match to continue.  MW3 was almost like a new man and he just went off on Buff.  For 11 minutes, MW3 beat the tar out of Buff.  They both ended up on the outside of the ring and MW3 connects with a floatover DDT on the concrete. He makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  MW3 is victorious.  He celebrated with the fans as medics came out to help Buff Austin to the back.  Fans gave him a standing ovation. (41 min)

In the back, the Nigerian Wraith said that he thought he and Sonic Blade were crew but after being eliminated in the battle royal by his ‘friend’, those thoughts went right out the window.  Sonic Blade walked over and said that the Wraith was blowing things out of proportion but Wraith wouldn’t hear of it.  He said that the two of them can fight it out and really see who the better of the two is.  Before Sonic Blade could reply, the Wraith walked off.

We head back to the ring for our next match.  Charlotte, daughter of ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair is taking on Cactus Jackie.  Jackie hasn’t been around much lately (she’s been acting as a groupie while her husband Dirk ‘the Pick’ Devon rocked out on the drums standing in for local bands).  Jackie and Charlotte were in the ring jawjacking and they started to slug it out.  The bell finally rings. This one isn’t very long as Charlotte only let Jackie get in one move.  That was it.  Charlotte owned Jackie in the match and after hitting a headscissors facebuster, pinned Jackie in the middle of the ring.  Charlotte celebrated with the fans as Jackie stormed to the back. (6 min)

In one interview area, the Miz is being interviewed and he says he’s lost his Hollywood ‘cred’ all because of the Fiend. Tonight, he will take it out on the Fiend one dollar at a time.

Elsewhere in the back, the Fiend is talking to Leon Teremoto and he says that the Miz has taken things too far and tonight, not only is the Miz finished in Hollywood, tonight, the Miz will be finished in the ring.

It is time to go back to the ring for our next match.  First, Kevin Owens comes to the ring.  He is then followed out by Samoa Joe.  Joe is accompanied to the stage by his teammates Ryback and Mark Henry.  His buds remain on the stage while Joe heads to the ring.  Joe and Kevin immediately start to slug it out.  Ryback and Henry hit the ring and triple team Owens until the save comes from Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.  The ref can’t get control of the match and is ready to call it quits until Master Bull intervenes.  Bull says that instead of a singles match, this is now a 6 man tag team match.  Mark Henry and Dean Ambrose didn’t get involved except in double or triple teaming.  Kevin and Samoa Joe did most of the dirty work.  After a brief intermission of Ryback and Seth Rollins fighting it out, Owens and Joe were back in the ring.  Kevin nails Joe with the Steenalizer (reverse powerbomb suplex) and pins Joe clean in the middle of the ring.  Ambrose, Rollins and Owens are victorious.  Owens looks to the heavens and whispers “for you Dusty”.  The winners left up the ramp while the losers complained in the ring.

Back in his dressing room, MW3 is talking to Hogan.  MW3 says that Buff, misguided, doesn’t deserve to lose his job.  “I didn’t come up with that stipulation, brother” Hogan said.  “He did and now he needs to pay the piper.” (The camera immediately pans to the right and we see, sitting there waving to the camera, Rowdy Roddy Piper).  “However, there is one way that Buff can keep his job and that is only if YOU call it quits, brother.”  MW3 says “I tell you what…I’ll give you an answer before the end of the night…brother.”  MW3 leaves the office.

Our next match is Hollywood Miz vs. the Fiend.  Miz is in the ring first strutting and then the Fiend comes out.  The Fiend then introduces his “posse” and out comes the band the Misfits.  The fans pop and that just pisses the Miz off.  The Fiend gets in the ring and out match begins.  The Fiend was thrashing the Miz all over the ring.  At one point, Miz crashes into the ref knocking him from the ring.  A new ref runs out just as the Fiend hits Miz with the 3 hits from Hell.  He makes the cover but the ref acts like he got something in his eye.  Miz pops up and this the Mizard of Oz and rolls the Fiend up hooking the tights and the ref makes a very fast 3 count awarding the match to the Miz.  The Misfits hit the ring and the Miz bails.  The Fiend and his friends celebrate in the ring as Miz backs up pissed off (even though he won the match).

MW3 finds Buff Austin getting ready to walk out and asks to speak to him.  MW3 tells Buff that he put on a hell of a show and doesn’t feel Austin should lose his job.  He asks Austin to consider something.  He likes what he sees in Buff but Buff isn’t going to get anywhere with his crap ass attitude.  MW3 proposes that Buff makes a (yet another) change. He asks Buff to become the next Mr. Wrestling.  MW3 says that Mr. Wrestling 4 (from last year) couldn’t carry his jock strap but Buff is the man who could bring prestige and honor back to the Mr. Wrestling name.  Buff accepts the challenge as MW3 presents him with a brand new mask.  MW3 then meets up with Hogan and says that tomorrow, he will announce his retirement as long as Hogan agrees to keep Buff Austin (aka Mr. Wrestling 5) around.  Hogan agrees and the two shake hands.

In an interview area, AJ Styles is talking about after putting Orton away, he is going after the US title held by Christopher Daniels or whomever is in possession of the title but he is attacked by Randy Orton.  The ‘shirts’ (crew standing around waiting to break up fights) break it up quickly before any damage can be done.

We go back to the ring for our next match Nigerian Wraith vs Sonic Blade.  Sonic comes out first and then the Wraith storms out after him not even waiting for his music to start.  The bell rings just as the Wraith hits the ring.  Their fight goes on for 20 minutes with neither giving an inch.  This match had the fans attention throughout and when someone did a crazy move, the fans would chant “that was awesome”.  Even though the Wraith was the more aggressor and rule breaker, the fans accepted him as an outstanding performer.  Right towards the end, the Wraith went to the top rope and went for a splash but Sonic moved out of the way.  He then dropped repeated elbow drops on the Wraith and finally hooked the leg to get the 1-2-3.  Sonic Blade gets the win.  After the match, he extends his hand to the Wraith but at first, the Wraith didn’t want to accept it but after urging from the fans, he finally did.  Sonic Blade raised the arm of the Nigerian Wraith and they left the ring.

A video is shown recapping the history between ‘The Original Big Daddy’ Donnie B and the Undertaker from 2010.  Undertaker was the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion and Donnie B, not a title holder, was granted a shot at that title (something never done before) and Donnie B somehow came out victorious.  The HWF and CSWA then ceased operations until, in 2011, at a special event put on by another organization, Donnie B agreed to put the title on the line against the Undertaker and again, he was victorious.  Now, in 2015, one of these two will call it quits.  Donnie B vs the Undertaker in a retirement match.  The loser cannot come back in another form/character.  This is it.  That match, in a Hell in a Cell, will be our main event of the night.

As soon as the steel cage walls were put up (the Hell in a Cell is hanging above the ring), the next match was able to begin.  AJ Styles vs Randy Orton is next.  Orton comes out first to the booing of the fans and then AJ Styles follows him out.  Orton is in the cage pacing like a tiger and AJ opts to enter the ring by going over the top.  He sits there until the bell rings and then he LAUNCHES himself down on to Orton and the match is underway.  AJ controlled the entire match until a masked wrestler from the back came out with a chain.  The masked man threw the chain to Orton to bashed AJ with it turning the tide.  A bloody AJ stumbled around the ring until Orton caught him with the RKO.  He got the 3 count and then tried to make for the door but the masked man stood there and wouldn’t let him out.  Orton was confused. AJ recovered enough to catch Orton with the Styles Clash and he got his own 3 count.  Now it is a race to see who gets out of the cage first.  The fans were on the edge of their seat for this one too.  AJ ran and jumped on the cage and began to scale it until the masked man hit the cage wall with a steel chair making him fall back in the ring.  Orton, on the other side of the ring, made it over the top and then dropped to the floor becoming the winner of this match.  (21 minutes).  The masked man got in the ring and hit AJ with the chair.  He removed his mask and it was none other than Kazarian – Christopher Daniels’ tag team partner and sometimes cronie.  He leaves the ring and drops the chair and leaves as the cage is unassembled.

As soon as that was done and AJ was helped out of the ring, the Hell in a Cell was lowered.  Donnie B comes out to a nice pop from the fans.  The lights go dim and a blue light shines on the ramp as the Undertaker makes his way down to the ring with his eerie music and gong sounding in the background.  This is it for one of these two.  Not one fan left during this main event.  Everyone was glued to their seats awaiting the outcome.  These two did not disappoint (the whole flippin’ card was pretty damn good) and slugged it out using the structure to their advantages. At one point, the two made it out of the structure and climbed to the top.   Donnie B slammed Undertaker hard on the top of the cage and UT locked Donnie B in a triangle choke but there was no ref (he had gotten knocked out) up there to see if he tapped.  They both make it back in the ring where Undertaker locks DB in the triangle choke once again but the ref is still out.  DB breaks the hold by hitting Undertaker with a chair.  Donnie B hits the Lights Out Brainbuster.  The ref is starting to recover.  DB pulls the ref over but by the time he makes the cover, Undertaker sits up.  DB’s eyes go all wide.  Undertaker hits a couple of chokeslams but DB catapults him into the cage busting him open.  Both are wearing crimson masks now.  DB calls for the lights out Brainbuster one last time but Taker reverses it and hits the Last Ride.  He makes the cover…1…2…3.  Undertaker has won the match and Donnie B must now retire. (15 min).  After the match, the cage is raised and Undertaker and Donnie B shake hands in a show of mutual respect.  Donnie B leaves to the cheering of the fans while Undertaker remains behind basking in his win.

In the back, Donnie B gets a standing ovation from all the wrestlers and is met by the Desperados (El Chango and the Stache) and then part owner Jeff Meyers who shakes DB’s hand.  He is then greeted by GM Hulk Hogan and Master Bull who congratulate DB on a fantastic career.  Undertaker finally makes it to the back and he and Donnie B shake hands.

With that, the show comes to an end.  Stay tuned for Day 2 coming tomorrow.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 06.04 – the Bash is almost here

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  We have HOT news that will blow your socks off.  The HWF and CSWA have decided that they want to give back to the fans.  Instead of a one day event, all attendees will get a SECOND day of shows at NO ADDITIONAL COST!!!  The Great American Bash, now a two day event taking place this coming Saturday and Sunday, is sold out live but you can still order it on PPV.  Get your orders in now.

Our show begins with Kurt Angle walking in and goes up to GM Hulk Hogan. He tells Hogan that he wants the Caped Crusader in a match TODAY.  Hogan says he’s been thinking about it and said that one match between the two is not best for business but what is…is a best of 7 match, brother.  Angle appeared to be on board and said he’d be ready when it’s time for his match.

Today’s card almost seems like a mini PPV with all the championship matches taking place tonight.  In action are Prestige Inc. defending the 6 man titles; Ravishing Raquel defending her Women’s title and Daniel Bryan vs Big E in a rematch for the North American title.

Prestige Inc. (Reid Rothchild, Magnus and King Damian Sandow) arrive at the arena with the Women’s Champion Ravishing Raquel.  Raquel heads off to her own dressing room after giving her husband Reid a quick kiss.

The show begins with Prince Devitt taking on A-Team member Antonio Cesaro. Their match goes 16 minutes and Devitt stays right in there with Cesaro.  Antonio gets in a lucky shot and hits Devitt with a cradle facebuster to secure the win in 16 min.

In the back, Diva Charlotte confronts Cactus Jackie.  The two have words and begin to fight but Master Bull walks over and tells them to save it for the PPV or they will BOTH be off the show.  He walks off and the two women separate.

We head back to the ring for our next match which is a Falls Count Anywhere match between Ken Anderson and Sheamus.    This was nothing short of annihilation.  Sheamus beat the holy hell out of Anderson for 7 solid minutes and puts him away with the White Noise.  Sheamus makes like he’s going to continue to beat on Anderson but he ends up just walking away.

In the back, we have another face off.  This time it’s between the Miz and the Fiend.  This time GM Hulk Hogan gets in between the two and also makes them separate or they will both be fined and suspended.  Miz lashes out with a kick before separating.

We head back to the ring for our next match.  The team of Kevin Owens, Curtis Axel and Jack Swagger come out first. There are fans at ringside holding a sign directed to Axel “You lost to your father’s move”.  Pretty harsh.  Next out comes the 6 man tag team champions Prestige Inc.  This one goes 18 minutes and saw the champs control the majority of the match.  Axel, whose head was not in the match, gets caught in a powerslam from Magnus and gets pinned.  Prestige Inc. retain their titles.

Master Bull comes out and says that after the Great American Bash, he will be separating the Women’s division into 2.  One half of the women will fight for the Women’s title and the other half will fight for the Diva’s title.  Those women “drafted” to their respective divisions will only fight for those titles.

Next is Ravishing Raquel defending the Women’s title against Paige.  Before the match could begin, Diva’s Champion Southern Belle came out to scout the match.  Raquel was not expecting this and Paige immediately locked Raquel in the PTO (Paige Tap Out) and Raquel TAPPED OUT!  HOLY CRAP.  Paige just defeated Raquel for the title but fortunately for Raquel, this is a best of 3 falls match.  Unfortunately, it didn’t help. Paige kept control over the match and after Belle “accidentally tried to” trip Raquel, Paige connected with a fallaway slam and got the 1-2-3.  Paige is now the NEW Women’s Champion.  Belle laughs and skips to the back.  A seething Raquel takes off after her while Paige celebrates in the ring.

In the back, newcomer Leon Teremoto is being interviewed and he has this to say.  “Ladies and Gentleman, You might know me as the quiet one with a Heavyweight belt already. Tonight my thunderous roar will be so ear piercing with the screams of victory my war cry will be heard from the tallest of mountains. You will never see me coming, for I am as quiet as the night – ha ha (a sinister type of laugh). I will sneak in and steal your strength and soul because I'm the darkest part of your nightmares and when you realize that your nightmares have become REALITY – (pause), and I win (pause) I'll take you down in the match of matches tonight & remain Victorious!!!”

He is interrupted by MVP.  MVP asks why this noob is getting any air time and Leon takes offense and challenges him to a match.  MVP chuckles and says “Sure, why not.   See you in the ring, noob.”  MVP walks off.

We head back to the ring for our 10 man battle royal with the winner getting a money in the bank title match.  Participants include Magnum Kone, Adam Rose, Bram, Lucas Johnston, Nigerian Wraith, Robbie E., Zack Ryder, Sonic Blade, Bo Dallas, and David Otunga.  Bram ends up getting the win after eliminating Sonic Blade and laughs and gloats about defeating all these chumps.  He says that since he is so awesome, he will give one person a shot to take the briefcase from him.  He points to…Magnum Kone.  In just 11 minutes, Magnum Kone – the King of Cones - hits a legsweep and pins Bram.  Magnum Kone is now in possession of a contract (which unlike #CJ, he signs it immediately) and says that he will be cashing this in really soon.

The matchup between MVP and Leon Teremoto is next.  MVP basically schooled the youngster but when he had the chance to go for a pin, he would pull Leon up by the hair.  After the 4th time of doing this and getting reprimanded by the ref, MVP turns to showboat to the fans.  This gives Leon the surge of adrenaline he needed and with a swift kick to the gut followed by a powerbomb, Leon gets the 1-2-3 over MVP.  Just as the ref was raising Leon’s hand, MVP attacks him and hits him with the playmaker.  He makes his own cover, counts (quickly) to 3 and says he’s the winner.  He threatens the ref with bodily harm if he doesn’t raise MVP hand.  The ref reluctantly does so and MVP leaves with his arms raised.  The ref helps Leon up and says “don’t worry…you’re the real winner of that match”. 23 min

GM Hulk Hogan announces that tonight’s main event will be Kurt Angle vs the Caped Crusader in their best of 7 match.

Our final title match of the evening is a rematch: Daniel Bryan vs Big E Langston for the NA title. The match goes 20 minutes and the champ Daniel Bryan gets the win after taking Big E down with a European uppercut.  After the match, a returning Alexander Rusev runs down and attacks…Big E.  He stomps and kicks on E and then locks him in the Accolade.  Rusev is back and looks hungry.

In the back, Ravishing Raquel confronts Southern Belle about her interference. Taylor Belle walks over and tries to separate the two.  Belle laughs as Raquel and Taylor almost come to blows.  GM Master Bull walks over and says that since there is an extra day of matches, Belle gets to defend her Diva’s title in a 3 way match against Taylor Bella and Ravishing Raquel.  Belle began to freak out while Taylor and Raquel continued bickering.

It is now time for the main event.  First out comes Kurt Angle.  His opponent, the Caped Crusader, repels down from the rafters.  Kurt immediately attacks him as the bell rings.  This is a short match as it only went 4 minutes.  Crusader was holding his own until Kurt threw him out of the ring. He then threw him into the steel steps where the Crusader crashed hard.  Kurt rolled back in to stop the count but the ref hit 10 and called the match over.  Kurt gets the first fall via CO.  He is not happy about it.  He tries to go after the Crusader again but security comes out and stands in his way.

Stay Tuned.  The Bash is this weekend. It is not too late to order the PPV.  See you this weekend.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 06.03 – the Bash is a week away

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  The lead up to the Bash continues here.

Our first match of the night is Buff Austin vs David Otunga.  To say that Otunga was KILLING Buff would be an understatement. 5 ½ minutes into the match, MW3 comes out and attacks Buff resulting in a DQ.  They brawl briefly before the suits from the back come out and break up the fight.  GM Hulk Hogan then comes out and says both men are in different federations but he talked to Master Bull and the match will indeed happen.  MW3 seems pleased until Buff attacks him and drops MW3 on his head.  Buff Austin says he wants a stipulation for their match.  He wants MW3 gone forever.  He asks Hogan to add that whoever loses must retire.  Hogan isn’t keen on having 2 retirement matches at one PPV but Buff keeps poking and prodding until Hogan gives in and makes the match.  Austin picks up MW3 and blasts him with the 5 point palm explosion and says MW3 will be a shell of his former self and will be gone for good all thanks to the “Main Event” Buff Austin.

Here is the PPV line up as it exists right now.  The card is subject to change but we think this is the final line up.

Charlotte vs Cactus Jackie
Hardcore champion #CJ vs the Big Show for the title
Buff ‘Main Event’ Austin vs MW3 – loser must retire
Dean Ambrose vs Christopher Daniels in a No DQ match for the US title
The Miz vs. the Fiend
The Ascension vs the Desperados for the titles
AJ Styles vs Randy Orton in a Steel Cage
Donnie B vs the Undertaker – the loser must retire for good
Bray Wyatt vs Sting for the HWF world title

We head back to the ring for our second match.  It is supposed to be Sheamus vs Ken Anderson but the two actually come out brawling and never enter the ring.  This one ends in no contest.  The ref basically gave up and let the two beat each other up until the suits came back out (again) to break them up.

In the back, The Desperados are interviewed.  They talk about different topics such as being spokesmen for their respective brands and then talk about their PPV opponents the Ascension.  El Chango makes the comment that they feel they are the team who will finally beat the champs.  All of a sudden, they are attacked by the Ascension who beat them down.  Viktor looks at the camera and says “Ohhhh, what a rush.  Hey Crap-a-rados, this is what will happen at the PPV.  You will not beat us.  You can’t beat us.”  Konnor chimes in with “Bitches”.  The two of them walk off.

The Shield (Seth Rollins and Ryback) make their way to the ring and introduce Samoa Joe as the newest member of the Shield.  Ryback then nails Seth Rollins with a spear.  He calls him the weak link. Ambrose comes out and questions what the hell is happening.  Ryback says that Ambrose only cares about singles matches and is not a team player so he is out too.  If he wants to get in the ring right now, Ryback will hurt him and he won’t make the PPV.  Dean Ambrose helps Seth up and the two leave.  Ryback says that along with Joe and him, they will be the dominant force the Shield is meant to be once this man joins them.  Randy Orton makes his way out.  Wow!  Orton is joining forces?  Hang on, SWERVE…Out comes the World’s Strongest man Mark Henry. Henry attacks and drops Orton with a World’s Strongest Slam on the stage.  Mark then makes his way to the ring and stands with his new teammates in the ring while Orton tries to recover and crawl to the back.

In the back, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are trying to figure out where it all went south.  Kevin Owens walks over and says they look to be in a bad spot.  Ambrose tries to convince him to join up with them and put aside any bad blood so they can rid the CSWA of these posers.  Owens says his beef with Joe is back on and says he will consider it.

We head back to the ring for a title match with North American Champion Daniel Bryan defending the NA title against Big E Langston.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says this is a best of 3 falls match.  The first fall goes to Big E who pins Daniel after hitting him with an over the shoulder backbreaker in 28 min.  The second fall goes to Bryan who gets Big E trapped in the Yes Lock and gets him to tap out in 5 min.  This match went almost the full distance.  Both men were even on points throughout the final fall with no one getting the upper hand.  This one goes 25 ½ minutes and only ended after Daniel got counted out.  Since the belt does not change hands on a count out, Bryan retains the title but Big E will probably get another shot sometime soon.
A vignette airs on the Omegatron and it’s the Jackass you love to hate…#CJ.

“ARE YOU KIDDING ME......are you effing serious, what kinda crap are master bull shhhhzz, and punk hogan pulling, #CJ not making an impact, an appearance, or his presence felt, NOT giving all the fan boys, hillbillies, red necks, and 40 year old virgins what they came to see...your last show was crap...pure and utter crap !!!!!!! Good thing that show was in Tex-ASS.....cuzz it was CRAP!!!! I find it insulting that the HARDCORE CHAMPION, the #PC isn't the main focus of each and every one of your little events....#CJ out”....(drops the mic)

Master Bull comes out and says that tonight, HWF World Champion Bray Wyatt will have a contract signing with Sting in the ring.  Once the contract is signed, their match is official.

We go back to the ring for a 6 Women Tag team match.  The Bella’s (Nikki, Brea and Taylor) take on the Beautiful People (Velvet Sky, Diva’s Champion Southern Belle, & Madison Rayne).  Noticeably absent is the other member of the Beautiful People Angelina Love.   This time around, Belle did not underestimate Taylor and took her to school.  The Beautiful People had the upper hand for most of the match.  Madison nails Nikki with the Rayne drop and as she goes for the pin, Brie Bella (the twin) sneaks in and pushes Nikki from the ring and as the fresh competitor, rolls Madison up for the 1-2-3.  The Bella’s have a win against the Beautiful People.  Taylor and Brie help Nikki from the ring and celebrate up the ramp.  As they are making their way to the back, Taylor motions to Belle that she will be taking her title.  (16 min)

The A-Team (Antonio Cesaro, Adrian Neville and the CSWA World Champ ‘The Man’ Austin Aries) arrive.  GM Hulk Hogan meets them and tells Aries he is defending the title tonight.  Aries says Ok and leaves to go get ready.

In another part of the parking lot, #CJ is driving in his car (the vignette must have been taped) with rapper Mike Jones and they see Big Show heading in.  #CJ attempts to hit Big Show with his car trying to take him out before the Bash.  He barely misses.  Show gets pissed and smashes the hood of the car.  #CJ and Mike Jones bail as Show flips the car.

Our next match is Angelina Love vs Natalya.  Natalya controlled the majority of the match and in 8 minutes, using a rear naked choke, used that to pin Love for the 1-2-3.  After the match, the remaining Beautiful People ran down and tried to attack Natalya but the Bella Clan ran down and quickly evened the odds.  Taylor got in one good shot on Belle before she took off.

Master Bull is talking to Hogan and says that he expects the contract signing to be a very combustible situation and wants to get extra security in place to avoid any uncontrolled reactions.

The main event of the evening is CSWA World Champion ‘The Man’ Austin Aries defending the CSWA World title against Curtis Axel.  As Axel makes his way out, he says he is dedicating this match to his father the late Curt Hennig.  He says tonight, he makes his father proud by becoming a World Champion.  He makes his way to the ring. Aries comes out with a mic of his own and tells Axel “It’s great to want things but unfortunately, you’ll fail.”  Aries hits the ring and the match begins.  For 6 minutes, Axel went toe to toe with the champ but after that, Aries just took off.  At the 14 minute mark, Aries connects with the 450 splash and it seems it took something out of him.  Nah, he was faking it.  He picks up Axel and hits a Fisherman’s Suplex (Curt Hennig’s specialty move) and uses that to pin Axel for the 1-2-3.  Aries used Axel’s father’s own move to put him away.  How sad.  Axel leaves the ring disappointed while Aries remained behind soaking up the booing and hissing from the crowd before leaving himself.

Master Bull then comes out with about 20 security guards.  They line the ramp all the way to the ring, surround the ring and then one seats in each corner of the ring.  A table is set up and Master Bull then calls out The Scorpion Warrior Sting.  Sting sits on one side of the table.  Bull then calls out Bray Wyatt. Bray makes his way down and is followed by a bunch of children all wearing goat masks.  They are chanting “He’s got the whole world in his hands”.  Bray gets to the ring and has the children stop singing.  Bray doesn’t say a word and signs the contract.  Sting yanks it away and also signs.  Bray goes to leave but stops.  He turns and has a mic in hand.

"Sting, they’ve been lying to you, man. There ain't no such thing as a hero. Not anymore. But you, you, and you, and you (points to the fans), you have become addicted to the illusion of what a hero is. You have become addicted to the illusion of what a hero does for you. You think you need someone to pat you on the back. You think you need someone to tuck you in bed at night, kiss you on the cheek, and tell you that everything is all right. But everything... everything... everything... EVERYTHING IS NOT ALL RIGHT! What if I was to tell you that the man who made you STEVE (Steve Bordon – Sting’s real identity) is a liar? What if I was to tell you that your own true self…Steve…turned his back on you? I would never turn my back on you. And maybe, maybe the answers you seek have been slapping you right in the face. Or maybe, just maybe, I, Bray Wyatt, the Eater of Worlds, have been the answer all along.  Soon Sting…very soon."

Sting gets up and shoves the table out of his way. The security guards swarm the ring and the 4 in the ring get in between the two.  The show comes to an end when Bray starts laughing uncontrollably and the children start singing again.

That is all for now.  There is one final show before the PPV so stay tuned.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 06.02

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  When we last left off, the Undertaker had challenged Donnie B to one final match with the loser retiring once and for all.  Donnie B accepted and that match will also take place at the Great American Bash – live from El Paso, TX.

Backstage, Shield members Dean Ambrose, Ryback and Seth Rollins arrive and Rollins still seems to be bickering about the fact that his team left him alone take on Prestige Inc.  Ambrose says he has business to take care of and goes off on his own.  Ryback and Rollins run into GM Hulk Hogan and they say that Kevin Owens intruded in their space and they want him in a handicap match tonight.  Hogan mulls it over and decides it could be best for business so he makes the match.  “However, brother,” Hogan follows up with, “If Owens can find himself a partner, then it will be a tag team match.”  Seth Rollins says no one likes Owens so it should be no issue.  They walk off.

Our first match of the night is Christopher Daniels defending the CSWA US title against Alberto El Patron.  Patron was in control for most of the match but Daniels kept kicking out of pin attempts and making it to the ropes to break up submission attempts.  As the match was nearing the time limit, Alberto tried to execute a move from the top rope and missed and he crashed hard in the ring.  Daniels then hits a double jump moonsault and lands on Patron.  He makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  An exhausted Daniels is then attacked by Dean Ambrose who beats him down even more and lays him out with the Dirty Deeds.  Ambrose takes the title and walks off with it. (26 min)

In the back, Hulk Hogan makes Dean Ambrose hand the title over as he is not the champion.  Ambrose says that at the Bash, that belt will become his.  He gives it up begrudgingly.

We head back to the ring for our next match which is a Women’s match with Paige taking on Natalya Neidhart.  This one went a full 30 minutes and ended in a time limit draw.  After the match, Beautiful People member Angelina Love came out and attacked Natalya for no apparent reason.  Natalya said she wanted Love at the next show. (30 min)

In the interview area, Ascension member Konnor says that he is getting a World title shot against HWF World Champion Bray Wyatt.  He says that Wyatt is out there but he knows nothing about psychological warfare (WHAT?  That’s all Bray does…) and with Viktor and MJ at his side, he will become the next World Champion.

We head back to the ring for our next match which is Bobby Lashley taking on Jeff Hardy.  This was a pretty close match but ended after Hardy, who went sailing into the audience after being thrown out of the ring, got counted out.  (10 ½ min)

Brock Lesnar arrives and he is informed by Master Bull that he is late and that his match is next.  Brock keeps walking and heads directly to the ring.

Next up is Brock Lesnar defending the HWF Intercontinental title against Tyler Breeze.  Breeze finally got himself back in contention after losing this title to Brock months ago.  This match took no time at all as it only took 3 minutes for the Beast Incarnate to hit the F-5 and pin Tyler in the middle of the ring.  Brock takes his title and leaves. (3 min)

Goldust is in the back and says he’s finally getting his due with a title match against X-Division Champion Roman Reigns.  He will make the best of it.

We go back to the ring for more action.  Ken Anderson vs Dolph Ziggler is next.  Ziggler had the upper hand for most of the match but things changed after Sheamus came out.  Ziggler got tossed out of the ring and while the ref was counting, Sheamus hits the ring and nails Anderson with the Brogue Kick.  He then leaves.  Ziggler miraculously pops up, slides in the ring and locks Anderson in a sleeper hold.  Since Anderson was already out cold, it didn’t take much for the ref to raise and drop Ken’s arm 3 times and then award the match to Dolph via submission.  Dolph didn’t seem to care that he got the tainted win. (10 min)

The Desperados are here but are not scheduled for action.  They walk up to an unmarked dressing room door.  El Chango knocks.  “Come” echoes from the other side.  Chango and Stache look at each other and then enter the room and close the door behind them.  Wonder what that’s about.

Next up we have Roman Reigns vs Goldust for the X-Division title.   This really wasn’t much of a match as Goldust was off his game from the start.  Sitting at ringside was his brother Cody who is still in the character of Stardust.  Goldie couldn’t get his act together and that allowed Reigns to get the pin in 11 minutes.  After the match, Stardust got in the ring with a mic.  He leaned over Goldust and said “It’s dark in here.  There is no return.  They all FLOAT down here Goldust…they all FLOAT…down here” (reference for those who didn’t catch it was from the TV show based on Stephen King’s novel  ‘IT’).

Backstage, more drama as the Miz attacks the Fiend and the two have to be separated by refs and “shirts” (a name for the stooges who only seem to be around to break up a fight).

We go back to the ring for our handicap match with Ryback & Seth Rollins taking on Kevin Owens.  Owens said he didn’t need a partner.  Just as the match was supposed to begin, Samoa Joe comes out and tells Kevin that he heard and saw him step up to the Shield and now understands that Kevin is all he proclaims to be and Joe says that if Kevin will allow it, he will be Kevin’s tag team partner for this match.  Kevin reluctantly shakes Joe’s hand and we have ourselves a tag team match.  During the match, Ryback hurled Kevin into Samoa Joe and that knocked Joe down from the ring.  Joe was pissed.  He tried a few times to get tagged in but Ryback and Rollins kept Owens in the ring.  Finally, Kevin makes the hot tag and Joe hits him with a muscle buster.  The fans boo.  Ryback throws Owens to the ropes and nails a spinebuster.  He makes the cover and gets the win.  (19 min).

GM Master Bull says that the full lineup of the show will be finalized at the next show but promises that everyone will be thoroughly entertained with what is in store.

It is time for our main event.  First, the challenger comes out.  Konnor is accompanied to the ring by his Ascension teammates Viktor and manager MJ.  Konnor is motioning that he will be taking on another title tonight.  Next, the HWF and Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt comes out but stops short.  Bray says that he may not have invented the game of psychological warfare but he sure has refined it.  He introduces…The Desperados.  The fans seem confused as to why there are there.  Bray says that “No, I haven’t brought these two young men to my side…yet but how much…how much Konnor…can you concentrate on our match when your PPV opponents are starring daggers right through  you?”   Bray laughs and all 3 men head to the ring.  This one will have ECW extreme rules stipulations.  In just under a minute, Konnor hits the Fall of Man on Bray on a steel chair and he gets the first fall.  12 minutes later, Bray hits Konnor with Sister Abigail and takes the second fall.  Almost immediately, the Desperados set up a table on the outside of the ring.  They then start to battle with Viktor.  Konnor and Bray fight on the outside of the ring.  Bray hits Konnor with a lifting side slam through the table.  He then rolls Konnor back in the ring and gets the 1-2-3.  Bray Wyatt has retained his title.  As the Desperados and the Ascension brawl towards the back, the lights go dim and a crow screeches.  The lights come up and Sting is in the ring with Bray.  He turns around and is shocked to see Sting there.  Sting peppers him with lefts and rights and then drops him with the Scorpion death drop (reverse DDT).  Sting stands in the ring as Bray tries to recover on the outside.

Stay tuned as the Bash is only a week away.
