Donnie B was in the ring talking about his accolades and touched on a subject that was near and dear to everyone’s heart. “I have done something that I never expected to happen. I became the HWF World Heavyweight Champion. I didn’t do it by hook or crook as the Negronomicon did. I went out and beat the best in the world – Christian. I never expected to retain the title but as fate ran its course, I went a whole month without losing the title. I joked around that I now had as long of a title reign as Rugged Ronnie Garvin. I went on to beat Christian at Wrestlemania and retain my title. Now, I had one more win than Garvin. I also went up against probably the greatest wrestler to hold the CSWA World title – Booker T. I defeated him too (at least that’s what the record books show). Of course, I did not win against Samoa Joe but then again, he is the Undisputed Champion. Next, I took on probably one of the best up and comers in the business – AJ Styles. I walked away from that one too with the title in tact. Now, I have 2 wins…2 more that Ronnie. Now, it’s about being serious. How can someone like Ronnie Garvin claim to be this great champion (he did beat Ric Flair though) but then, 30 days later, after a nice vacation, he lost that belt back to Flair. He didn’t even have one successful defense. How can he claim this? I, a lowly wrestler, have 2 defenses and he had none. So, with all this in mind, I want to call out Ronnie. I know you’re in the back visiting so I’m asking you to come down now.”
After about 30 seconds, Ronnie Garvin made his way down to ringside. He looked about the same as he did in the 80’s…flat top haircut and looks like his neck disappeared. Donnie B gave him a second mic. “Ronnie, you heard me talking about you for the past few weeks, first joking and then becoming serious. I want to know how you think you can call yourself a real champion when you never had a successful title defense.” Ronnie started up “First of all, I beat one of the greatest wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots – Ric Flair. After I delivered the ass-beating to him, he was just no match for the ‘Hands of Stone’ and he lost. Yes, I was sent on ‘vacation’ as you call it but I was training and working out so when I came back, I’d hand Flair another beatdown.” Donnie B interrupted “But we see how all that went for you. You immediately lost the title. You said you were the best and you failed in that claim.” “I beat Flair! You beat two guys that together have less experience than the Nature Boy did.” “Ronnie,” DB continued “I’m not discounting the fact that you were a world champion. I’m discounting the fact that even as you claimed it, you were NOT a defending World Champion.” “I BEAT FLAIR” Garvin threw out there, yet again. “I tell you what. I want to challenge you to a match. But the only thing I want to come from this is that if you LOSE – notice I said IF and not WHEN – I’m not saying I can even beat you – I want you to acknowledge that you were a world champion but not a defending champion. That’s all. We can do this at the PPV if you’d like.” Garvin replied “I don’t owe you anything. I don’t owe anyone anything. So no, I won’t wrestle you at your PPV. What I will do is, I believe you have a show coming up in North Carolina, my home town. You want a fight, it will be there, in front of all my fans. But you will have to do something in order for this to happen.” Donnie B added “First of all, I’m not going to dress up like your alter-ego ‘Miss Atlanta Lively’. I’m not going that route. All I want is a simple statement.” “Fine. If I defeat you, you will never say another derogatory thing about me – EVER. Hell, you even have to become a fan of mine and ACKNOWLEDGE it in front of the World – say at your PPV. I’ll do what you ask if you do what I ask. What do you say?” “I agree. But know this, you will have to have a warm up match – against a man who, to a point, worships you. You will have to fight the Negronomicon. But there is a catch, Negronomicon, you can’t just lay down. You must put up a fight. In fact, to make it worth your while, I will let you out of the remainder of your agreement IF you win by pinfall or submission. No more payback, no more forced jobs. Second, just to make sure this all stays fair, 2 more of your (Garvin) fans will be required to be at ringside – MW3 and the Super Warrior. Guys, guess what? No backstabbing here. No siding with your ‘hero’. If either one of you cause disruption in the match, you lose your careers. Simple as that.”
About a week later, the Negronomicon had his match with Ronnie Garvin. Here we thought that the Negronomicon was going to do another job but we were so wrong. As soon as the bell rang, N tossed Garvin out of the ring. He didn’t even pay attention as he was yelling at the fans. Garvin went and got himself counted out. By the time N knew what was going on, it was too late. He won the match but since it was not by pin or submission, he’s still locked into the terms of his contract. His hopes bashed, he left the ring with a mixture of anger and disappointment.
Garvin then called down Donnie B for their match. Donnie B got to the ring and then called out MW3 and the Super Warrior just to keep things ‘fair’.
The bell rang and Donnie B’s match with Rugged Ronnie Garvin began. Donnie B started off by tossing Garvin out of the ring but RG was back in at 6. DB followed it up with a Guerrero stomp. DB then hits Garvin with a chair but Garvin turns around and delivers the Hands of Stone. DB rolled out of the ring but was back in with time to spare. DB connects with a flying dropkick and RG hits a forearm to the chest. Donnie B connects with a DDT and goes for the cover but Garvin kicks out at 2. DB hits another DDT but Garvin locks in a nasty headlock. An eyerake from DB is met with another headlock. Garvin then hits a backdrop. DB with a dropkick and Garvin with the headlock. DB hits a dropkick and goes for the pin but Garvin kicks out at 1. DB hits the Guerrero stomp (he is mimicking the Garvin stomp now) and goes for a pin but only gets a 2 count. DB hits another dropkick, goes for the pin but Garvin reaches the ropes at 1. Garvin hits a hip toss, DB hits a neckbreaker, goes for the pin but only a 2 count. Garvin battles back with an Eagle Split. DB hits a eye rake, Garvin locks in a Boston Crab but DB makes it to the ropes. Garvin hits another back drop to add more pain to DB’s back. Garvin picks up Donnie B and goes for the Hands of Stone but Donnie B ducks it, nails a DDT right in the middle of the ring and the ref counts 1….2……3. Donnie B is the winner of the match. MW3 and Super Warrior remained at ringside but were never needed. Donnie B got a mic and told Garvin what he needed to do. Garvin took the mic. “As per the agreement I made with Donnie B, since I lost, I get to acknowledge that I was a World Champion BUT not a defending one. There, are you happy?” Donnie B went up to him and tried to shake his hand but Garvin lashed out with a Hands of Stone shot that put the HWF World Champion to bed. MW3 and the Super Warrior looked on in amazement but didn’t do anything. Garvin looked at them and gave them a smile and a wave. I think this made the year of both MW3 and the Super Warrior.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 4.4
Hello fans. As we build up for the “Over the Edge” PPV, we had some matches take place to see if anyone would be moving up or down in the rankings.
First, over in the CSWA (note, these events took place over different days):
The first match was MW3 challenging John Cena for his spot for the US title. MW3 put up a good fight and took the champ 19 minutes in a good ol-fashioned brawl, but in the end was no match for the 5 knuckle shuffle and the 3 count. John Cena retains his spot.
Next, John Morrison challenged Mr. Kennedy for his shot at the TV title. This one was really short. Morrison held his own until, at the 3 minute mark, got tossed out of the ring. Kennedy followed him out and ran his head into a ringpost. Kennedy rolled back in and beat the 10 count and retained his spot. I would not be surprised to see Morrison want some revenge.
Matt Hardy was next to challenge the Super Warrior for his spot in line for the US title. This was another short match that saw the Super Warrior retain his spot after Matt Hardy got counted out (after Jeff Hardy caused a distraction).
The Kraken challenged Jeff Hardy for his title spot. Jeff Hardy retained his spot after connecting with a swanton bomb and getting the 1-2-3.
HHH challenges Shelton Benjamin for his tv title spot. This was probably the most lopsided match. Benjamin didn’t want to fight but was told by William Regal that he must accept the challenge. Benjamin then asked that if the sledgehammer came into play in this match that HHH would be disqualified and not get the spot. Regal agreed. HHH didn’t care for this stipulation so he purposefully pulled the sledgehammer out early. He went to hit Shelton with it but Shelton reversed it and hit a shoulder to the gut. HHH then hit Shelton with the sledgehammer after Shelton hit a T-Bone Suplex. The ref didn’t see it but Shelton kicked out. HHH hit a kneedrop and spit water in Shelton’s face. HHH then tossed Shelton out of the ring and hit him with the sledgehammer again. HHH rolled back in and Shelton got counted out. As soon as the bell rang, Regal appeared on the screen and told HHH that if he used the sledgehammer, he would be DQ’d. Regal told the ref to announce Shelton as the winner of the match via DQ. Shelton retains his spot. HHH was pissed.
RVD challenges Jeff Jarrett for his world title shot. This was another long match that saw Jarrett own the challenger. At the 19 minute mark, somehow RVD hit a Van Daminator and basically fell on Jarrett. The ref made the count and RVD got the win and the title shot.
Chris Jericho challenges MVP for his US title spot. MVP was on fire and took it to Jericho. At the 5 minute mark though, Randy Orton appeared at the top of the ramp. Confused, Jericho missed a spot and MVP took advantage hitting a Ballin’ Elbow smash and got the win. He retains his spot.
MW3 challenges Mike Knox for his shot for the TV title. Knox retains his spot after landing a nasty elbow drop on the sternum of MW3.
MW3 then issued a challenge to the Cruiserweight Champion Mr. Kennedy for his spot at the TV title. In 24 minutes, MW3 gets the win with a dragonscrew. MW3 takes over Kennedy’s spot. Immediately, HHH came out and challenged MW3. HHH gets the win in 19 minutes.
Kane challenges Ted Dibiasi for his world title spot. In a short match, Kane moves up the rankings after hitting a clothesline from the top rope.
Over in the HWF (again, these matches took place over different days):
Samoa Joe challenges Undertaker for his world title shot. This was a rematch that saw Undertaker demand that if he retains his spot against Joe that he gets a rematch for the IC title. Joe agreed. The Undertaker owned Joe and got a merciful win after hitting the Last Ride. Undertaker gets a shot somewhere down the line at the IC title.
CM Punk challenges Ric Flair for his NA title shot. Punk owned Flair. Ric had no idea what he’d gotten himself into. The end came when Super Warrior came down and distracted Flair. Flair was irate that someone would interfere in his match. This gave Punk time to lock in the Anaconda Vice and got Flair to tap out. CM Punk gets Flair’s title shot. After the match, Super Warrior got in the ring and nailed Flair with 2 Super Powerbombs.
Batista challenges Devon Dudley for his NA title shot. This was by far the shortest match that saw, in 2 minutes, Devon get counted out giving the title shot to the Animal.
Carlito challenges Santino for his IC title spot. Carlito was whipping Santino’s ass but Santino got lucky when Carlito didn’t make it back in the ring before a 10 count. Santino retains his spot.
Fit Finley challenges Stevie Richards for his x-division title spot. If Richards loses, he is gone. This one went the full 30 minutes. Richards had gotten knocked out by the shillelagh. The ref counted to 10 just as the bell rang so there was some confusion as to if the match was a draw or if Finley got the win. Regal came out and said they would have a second match and since Richards had so much riding on this, it was turned into a steel cage match.
Richards really tried but was just no match for Finley. Finley locked in the celtic cross at the 2 minute mark and Stevie tapped. He did, however manage to stop Finley from leaving the ring. He took 8 minutes to try to pin the crazy Finley but not even the Stevie kick helped. At the 10 minute mark, Finley made it out of the ring and got the win AND ended the career of Stevie Richards. Everyone moves up and there are 2 vacancies for the X-division title now.
AJ challenges Cody Rhodes for his NA title spot. This was the shortest match of the night. Cody got counted out just after 30 seconds. AJ takes over his spot. CM Punk comes out and challenges AJ for his spot. AJ defeats Punk with a spin kick at the 15 minute mark.
Kurt Angle challenges the Big Show for his World title spot. Kurt moves up after Big Show got counted out.
Bubba challenges Chris Masters for his IC spot. Masters’ retains his spot after a beautiful belly to back suplex in the middle of the ring.
Jeff Hardy & the Kraken challenge Matt Hardy and John Morrison for their spot. Morrison gets the pin over the Kraken in 28 minutes. They retain their spot.
Randy Orton challenges Sting for the IC title shot. If Randy loses or is co/dq, he will not be eligible to try for a title again until May. Randy loses via countout in 11 ½ minutes. He then grabs a mic and demands to be traded to the CSWA. William Regal ponders it and then states that after the PPV, Orton may have a new home…but he must first defeat someone (TBD) in order to get his wish. That match will happen at the ppv.
The final match was the Undertaker vs. Donnie B in a non-title match up. In 3 short minutes, Donnie B taps out to the triangle choke.
Regal came out and made another match for the PPV: Donnie B vs the Undertaker for the World Title. Undertaker was going to be taking on Ric Flair with Flair’s career in the balance but due to their ongoing feud, Flair will be going up against the Super Warrior.
The PPV should be up next so stay tuned.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 4.3
Hello fans. In this issue, we will recap the house shows from the CSWA event in Humble and the HWF show in Tempe.
The card looked like this:
Mr. Kennedy vs. The Super Warrior for the Cruiserweight title. If SW loses, he no longer gets a shot at that belt while Kennedy holds it OR a shot at any title that Kennedy is in line for.
John Cena will defend the TV title against MW3.
Edge will defend his US title against Chris Jericho
Rey Mysterio will defend the World title against RVD.
In the first match, Kennedy came out first and taunted the Warrior. Kennedy went on about how he was going to put the Super Warrior out for good. The music hit and out came the Super Warrior. It’s funny that we have not seen him look this serious in a very long time. He got in the ring and went nose to nose with Kennedy. The ring announcer introduced both men and said that in order for Kennedy to win the stipulation, he needed to either pin or make the Super Warrior tap out. Kennedy asked “then why not just make this a no dq-count out”? SW nodded and then bell rang.
Kennedy started off with a Russian leg sweep. He then tossed SW out of the ring for a 7 count. SW got back in and hit a power punch. Kennedy hits a side slam and SW hits a Super Powerslam. Kennedy rolls out of the ring but eventually gets back in. Kennedy takes advantage of a distracted SW when Ric Flair made an appearance at the top of the stage and hit another leg sweep. SW locks in a cobra clutch but Kennedy hits the mic check for a 2 count. Kennedy hits a side slam and SW tosses him out of the ring. Flair comes down and gives Kennedy some advice. SW starts to have words with Flair and Kennedy hits the Green Bay Plunge for a 2 count. Kennedy hits a second GBP but SW kicks out at 2. SW hits a Full nelson slam but Kennedy tosses him out of the ring. Ken distracts the ref and Flair hits a low blow. SW rolls back in but surprises Kennedy with a super flapjack. SW goes to toss Kennedy out of the ring but Mr. K reverses it and hits a mic check. Flair gets up on the ring which prevents the pin attempt from being counted. Kennedy throws up his hands wondering what Flair was doing. Flair begins to apologize profusely. A cobra clutch from SW is met with another GBP and a 2 count. SW hits another Super flapjack. KK hits a side slam backbreaker but SW hits a Super Powerbomb for a 2 count. KK hits the legsweep again but SW hits a Super Powerslam but only gets a 2 count. Kennedy tries for an inverted superplex but SW nullifies it. Flair jumps up and throws some powder in the eyes of the SW. Blinded, he runs right into another Green Bay Plunge from Kennedy who makes the cover and gets the 1…2….3. Kennedy is declared the winner and he leaves with his title.
Flair then jumps in and tries to attack the SW but Warrior is really pissed now. Flair tries to hit some chops but SW shrugs it off. SW nails a super powerslam on Flair who then rolls out of the ring. Flair then challenges SW for a match at the PPV and states that if he cannot put SW out, he will retire. SW accepts.
The next match had John Cena defend the TV title against MW3. Hogan has been hounding MW3 ever since the match was made for the “Over the Edge” PPV. MW3 came out first followed by the champ. Cena starts off with a knuckle jam. Before MW3 gets in his first offensive move, Hogan comes down to ringside. Cena then hits 2 more knuckle jams. A side suplex from Cena is met by an insuguri from MW3. Cena hits another knuckle jam but only makes a 1 count after thinking Hogan was going to interfere. Yet another knuckle jam from Cena and MW3 is NOT looking good. Cena goes to stomp MW3 in the gut but it is reverse and MW3 stops to offer friendship but kicks John in the groin. A knuckle jam from the champ is met with a dragonscrew from the challenger. Cena stops to rap with the crowd and MW3 nails a swinging neckbreaker. A knuckle jam and a pin attempt is thwarted by Hogan trying to get involved but is being stopped by the ref. Cena hits a side suplex and follows it up with a five knuckle shuffle. He covers MW3 but MW3 kicks out at 2. John tries to rap with the crowd again but gets hit by an insuguri. John then hits the F-U and goes for the cover but MW3 kicks out at 2. Cena is shocked and even moreso when he tastes the leather from a superkick. Both men are down. Cena tries to rap again but gets tossed out of the ring but is back in at 4. After some more thwarted pin attempts, John nails the F-U in the middle of the ring, makes the cover and gets the 1…..2……3. John Cena retains the TV title.
After the match, Hogan sneaks up on MW3 and hits a clothesline from behind. He then nails a leg drop on the fallen hero and stands over him in victory before being directed out of the ring.
Edge was up next defending the US title against Chris Jericho. Edge begins the match with a headlock. Jericho applies the Walls of Jericho but Edge reverses it and slaps on another headlock. Edge hits a yank hair flip but Chris goes to the ropes and connects with a lionsault. He makes the cover but Edge kicks out at 2. Chris nails some chops to the chest but gets clotheslined out of the ring. He is back in at 3. Edge with a bodyslam and Chris with a forearm smash. Chris locks in the Walls of Jericho but Edge powers out and hits a DDT. Both men are down. Edge is up first and nails some dropkicks. Chris hits a lionsault and goes for the pin. The ref counts 1…2…kickout. Chris is astonished. Edge is then tossed out of the ring but is back in at 4. Chris absorbs some rapid dropkicks from the champ. Edge with more dropkicks and Chris with chops. Edge hits a bodyslam and then is tossed out of the ring. He is back in at 7. Chris hits more chops to the chest and Edge hits a DDT out of nowhere but makes a quick cover only to have Chris kick out at 2. Edge is tossed out again and is back in at 4. Chris hits chops to the chest and is clotheslined out of the ring. He’s back in at 8. Chris hits another lionsault off the ropes but Edge is up and nails a DDT. Both men are down again. Edge nails a huge bodyslam and then with his feet on the ropes, gets the 1.2.3. Edge retains the US title and leaves quickly as Chris whines in the ring.
The final match of the CSWA card is the World Champ Rey Mysterio defending the title against newcomer RVD. Rob was no match for the high flying Mysterio. Rey kept the challenger baffled by all the high flying spots. Rey hit the 6-1-9 and followed it up with a hurricanrana. RVD must have had too much to smoke as he couldn’t mount much of an offense. Rey hit another 6-1-9 at the 11 minute mark and was declared the winner and STILL the World champion.
Jericho cried enough to William Regal so Regal said he could get another title shot but it would be the last in line for it.
The HWF card looked like this.
Donnie B vs. AJ Styles with both of their championships on the line. The winner gets both belts (if pin or sub only).
The Undertaker defends the IC title against Samoa Joe
Kurt Angle defends the North American title against Batista
CM Punk and Sting defend the Tag Team titles against the Dudleys.
Over to the HWF news, it was announced that there was a special guest host for the night – two in fact. They were none other than the Great Kabuki and the Great Muta. They announced that a special wrestler was coming out of retirement and wanted a match with that “dirty-ol’ dog” Negronomicon. That would be Superstar Billy Graham.
The first match was Graham taking on the Negronomicon. Superstar asked for this match early on since he needed to get to bed early as he needed his beauty rest. Superstar begins with an extended thumb chokehold. N just takes it. SBG hits a kick to the midsection but N hits a arm whip of doom. SBG hits a forearm smash that all but knocked N out (he flopped around a bit like Eddie Gilbert used to do back in the day). Graham is tossed out of the ring but is back in and hits a bodyslam and goes for the pin but N kicks out at 2. N gets catapulted across the ring but comes back to hit a hurricanrana. Superstar hits a karate chop to the chest and goes for a pin but N kicks out. Superstar gets tossed out of the ring again but is back in right away and nails the bodyslam. He goes for the cover but N kicks out again. SBG goes to catapult N across the ring but it is reversed and N hits a thrust kick. I think he broke SBG’s hip. No, wait, he’s ok. SBG goes for a forearm smash but N gets out of the way. SBG hits an elbow smash to windpipe but N hits a snap suplex and goes for the cover but only gets a 2 count. SBG hits another bodyslam, goes for the pin but doesn’t get it. SBG hits a snapmare and goes for a pin but N kicks out at 1. SBG hits the extended thumb chokehold and goes for a pin but still can’t put the “dirty ol’ dog” down. SBG hits a karate chop to the chest, goes for the pin but it is thwarted. SBG then catapults N across the ring and he actually lands throat across the ropes. He falls back and SBG makes the cover for the 1..2…3. SBG wins the match. N leaves the ring cursing that he will get his revenge…soon.
Tag team champs Punk and Sting are out next to defend their tag team titles against the Dudleys. This match ended up going 21 minutes with the challengers beating the tar out of the champs. At the 21 minute mark, with Sting incapacitated, Punk got nailed by the 3D but rolled out of the ring. Punk ended up getting counted out so Punk and Sting retain the tag titles. Bubba and Devon were not happy and swore they’d get another shot.
Regal then came out to announce that due to his constant interference, Ric Flair will be moved over to the CSWA and would only move back to the HWF once his feud with the Super Warrior was done or Flair was forced into retirement.
Kurt Angle was up next defending the North American title against Batista. This match went 18 minutes with both men hitting their specialty moves early on but neither getting the pin. Batista started to battle back in the end but frustration crept up on him after he hit two back to back Enforcer Spinebusters but he couldn’t keep Angle down. Out of nowhere, Angle hits the Angle Slam and with a pull of the tights, gets the 1-2-3. Angle retains the belt. Batista was not happy and stared down at Angle as he left the ring with his title.
The Undertaker was up next and called out the fat, overweight blob (and Undisputed Heavyweight Champion) Samoa Joe. Joe came out and looked pretty lean. He motioned that he was taking Undertaker’s title tonight. This was the shortest match of the night so far. Joe started off like a freight train and ran down the champ. He hit a throat choke and a muscle buster but Taker kicked out. Joe got tossed out of the ring but as soon as he got back in, he tossed the Undertaker out. Joe locks in the rear naked choke and turns it into a pin attempt but Taker kicks out. Joe then hits a running clothesline that almost took the Undertaker’s head off. He covered Taker, put his feet on the ropes and as the ref counted 1…….2……..3, Joe was declared the winner of the match and the NEW Intercontinental Champion. Joe left the ring with both of his belts and said he’d be coming after the world title next.
The final match of the night is Donnie B defending the World title and AJ Styles defending the X-division title with the winner taking both. This was now officially the shortest match of the night at 4 minutes. Donnie B got in one offensive move. AJ beat the holy hell out of him. AJ went for the Styles Clash which Donnie B reversed and tried to hit a DDT but it was nullified. AJ then hit a Styles Clash, went for the pin but DB kicked out. Donnie B hits Styles with a chair but then gets tossed out of the ring. He is back in at 6. Donnie B then tosses AJ out of the ring and brawls briefly with AJ. AJ then makes the mistake of tossing Donnie B back in first (just as the ref counted to 10) and AJ ends up getting counted out. Donnie B retains the World title but does not win the X-division title since it was not via pin or submission.

In the first match, Kennedy came out first and taunted the Warrior. Kennedy went on about how he was going to put the Super Warrior out for good. The music hit and out came the Super Warrior. It’s funny that we have not seen him look this serious in a very long time. He got in the ring and went nose to nose with Kennedy. The ring announcer introduced both men and said that in order for Kennedy to win the stipulation, he needed to either pin or make the Super Warrior tap out. Kennedy asked “then why not just make this a no dq-count out”? SW nodded and then bell rang.
Kennedy started off with a Russian leg sweep. He then tossed SW out of the ring for a 7 count. SW got back in and hit a power punch. Kennedy hits a side slam and SW hits a Super Powerslam. Kennedy rolls out of the ring but eventually gets back in. Kennedy takes advantage of a distracted SW when Ric Flair made an appearance at the top of the stage and hit another leg sweep. SW locks in a cobra clutch but Kennedy hits the mic check for a 2 count. Kennedy hits a side slam and SW tosses him out of the ring. Flair comes down and gives Kennedy some advice. SW starts to have words with Flair and Kennedy hits the Green Bay Plunge for a 2 count. Kennedy hits a second GBP but SW kicks out at 2. SW hits a Full nelson slam but Kennedy tosses him out of the ring. Ken distracts the ref and Flair hits a low blow. SW rolls back in but surprises Kennedy with a super flapjack. SW goes to toss Kennedy out of the ring but Mr. K reverses it and hits a mic check. Flair gets up on the ring which prevents the pin attempt from being counted. Kennedy throws up his hands wondering what Flair was doing. Flair begins to apologize profusely. A cobra clutch from SW is met with another GBP and a 2 count. SW hits another Super flapjack. KK hits a side slam backbreaker but SW hits a Super Powerbomb for a 2 count. KK hits the legsweep again but SW hits a Super Powerslam but only gets a 2 count. Kennedy tries for an inverted superplex but SW nullifies it. Flair jumps up and throws some powder in the eyes of the SW. Blinded, he runs right into another Green Bay Plunge from Kennedy who makes the cover and gets the 1…2….3. Kennedy is declared the winner and he leaves with his title.
Flair then jumps in and tries to attack the SW but Warrior is really pissed now. Flair tries to hit some chops but SW shrugs it off. SW nails a super powerslam on Flair who then rolls out of the ring. Flair then challenges SW for a match at the PPV and states that if he cannot put SW out, he will retire. SW accepts.
The next match had John Cena defend the TV title against MW3. Hogan has been hounding MW3 ever since the match was made for the “Over the Edge” PPV. MW3 came out first followed by the champ. Cena starts off with a knuckle jam. Before MW3 gets in his first offensive move, Hogan comes down to ringside. Cena then hits 2 more knuckle jams. A side suplex from Cena is met by an insuguri from MW3. Cena hits another knuckle jam but only makes a 1 count after thinking Hogan was going to interfere. Yet another knuckle jam from Cena and MW3 is NOT looking good. Cena goes to stomp MW3 in the gut but it is reverse and MW3 stops to offer friendship but kicks John in the groin. A knuckle jam from the champ is met with a dragonscrew from the challenger. Cena stops to rap with the crowd and MW3 nails a swinging neckbreaker. A knuckle jam and a pin attempt is thwarted by Hogan trying to get involved but is being stopped by the ref. Cena hits a side suplex and follows it up with a five knuckle shuffle. He covers MW3 but MW3 kicks out at 2. John tries to rap with the crowd again but gets hit by an insuguri. John then hits the F-U and goes for the cover but MW3 kicks out at 2. Cena is shocked and even moreso when he tastes the leather from a superkick. Both men are down. Cena tries to rap again but gets tossed out of the ring but is back in at 4. After some more thwarted pin attempts, John nails the F-U in the middle of the ring, makes the cover and gets the 1…..2……3. John Cena retains the TV title.
After the match, Hogan sneaks up on MW3 and hits a clothesline from behind. He then nails a leg drop on the fallen hero and stands over him in victory before being directed out of the ring.
Edge was up next defending the US title against Chris Jericho. Edge begins the match with a headlock. Jericho applies the Walls of Jericho but Edge reverses it and slaps on another headlock. Edge hits a yank hair flip but Chris goes to the ropes and connects with a lionsault. He makes the cover but Edge kicks out at 2. Chris nails some chops to the chest but gets clotheslined out of the ring. He is back in at 3. Edge with a bodyslam and Chris with a forearm smash. Chris locks in the Walls of Jericho but Edge powers out and hits a DDT. Both men are down. Edge is up first and nails some dropkicks. Chris hits a lionsault and goes for the pin. The ref counts 1…2…kickout. Chris is astonished. Edge is then tossed out of the ring but is back in at 4. Chris absorbs some rapid dropkicks from the champ. Edge with more dropkicks and Chris with chops. Edge hits a bodyslam and then is tossed out of the ring. He is back in at 7. Chris hits more chops to the chest and Edge hits a DDT out of nowhere but makes a quick cover only to have Chris kick out at 2. Edge is tossed out again and is back in at 4. Chris hits chops to the chest and is clotheslined out of the ring. He’s back in at 8. Chris hits another lionsault off the ropes but Edge is up and nails a DDT. Both men are down again. Edge nails a huge bodyslam and then with his feet on the ropes, gets the 1.2.3. Edge retains the US title and leaves quickly as Chris whines in the ring.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 4.2
Hello fans. Welcome back to the wrestling newsletter. We have more information to report so let’s get down to business.
MW3 and the Super Warrior were successful in defeating the team of Hogan and Flair. They had agreed to remain partners only when going after the World tag team titles. SW was now the #1 contender for the Cruiserweight title. MW3 then issued a challenge to the #1 contender for the TV title – Hulk “TNA” Hogan. Hogan must still have been trashed from Wrestlemania as MW3 threw Hogan out of the ring at 30 seconds and it appeared Hogan threw out his hip or something. MW3 then ran Hogan into the ringpost and rolled back in. The ref counted to 10 and gave the match and the title shot to MW3.
Edge and Jeff Jarrett then had a match to see who will fill the #10 slot for the World title. In 13 minutes and after hitting Edge with a guitar over his head, Jeff gets the win. After the match, Edge hit Jarrett with a spear and left him lying in the ring.
We were just informed that a CSWA house show was going to take place in Humble, TX next week. This is the card that is being advertised:
Mr. Kennedy vs. The Super Warrior for the Cruiserweight title. If SW loses, he no longer gets a shot at that belt while Kennedy holds it OR a shot at any title that Kennedy is in line for.

I will admit that you two were great in your day but now you just hold the new generation down and prevent them from reaching their true potential. The Super Warrior and MW3 will stand for this no longer! The twilight of your careers approaches as does the dawn of a new age of professional wrestling! As for you Mr. Kennedy, I mentioned the last time I addressed you that I accepted this 4th and final challenge. There will be no excuses. I do not plan to leave without the gold so you had best bring your “A” game.”

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 4.1– Post-Wrestlemania fallout and other news
Hello fans. We start of this letter with the sad news that former wrestler Chris Kanyon has passed away. While details are still unknown at this time, we’d like to extend our condolences to his friends and family.
The show following Wrestlemania was jam packed with a sold out crowd. The card started off with The Bruiser, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, Mohammed Hassan and Bobby Lashley all in the ring. Hassan thanked the crowd for allowing him to return but he felt he didn’t have the passion some of the other greats had and made the decision to retire. He thanked Kennedy for allowing his last match to be a “last-ditch effort” to win a belt but it just wasn’t meant to be. He then handed the mic to the Bruiser and left the ring. The Bruiser stated that not winning the battle royal seemed meant to be and that he enjoyed his run even though a lot of it was spent on the bench. He thanked the fans for supporting him and handed the mic to Mick Foley as he left the ring. Foley started off by saying that his match with the Undertaker wasn’t really for his career. Foley told management he was in some serious need for time off and was basically told that he had to be off for at least a month and could return at any time. He told the fans this was not the last time they’d see him in the ring. “You’ll know when I’m done”. He signed off with the “bang bang” and handed the mic to Bobby Lashley. Bobby started off by saying his wrestling career was the greatest thing that has ever happened to him professionally. He went on to say that he may be saying goodbye to wrestling but was saying hello to MMA. That’s right. Bobby will be making the move to mixed martial arts and said that he would make a huge impact once he gets himself established. “Watch for me. I don’t think a heavyweight title is out of my reach.” He got a huge ovation from the fans and then handed the mic to Shawn.
“You know, I’ve been in this business for a very long time. You may remember me starting out as some skinny, snot-nosed kid up in Minnesota. I started to learn the business (the hard way in some cases) and as I got better, my future opened up for me. At that time, I was teaming with my good friend Marty Janetty. Marty and I won tag team championships and then moved to the biggest game in town – The WWE (was the WWF back then). We held our own with some of the big dogs in the sport and persevered. When it came time for me to move on, Marty and I split and my singles career took off. I was at the top of my game throughout my tenure in the WWE but then when the HWF and CSWA came into play, this is where I feel I really skyrocketed. I’ve had some great feuds over the past years. I know I’m going to miss some of you but please, don’t be offended. I would like to personally thank MW3, the Undertaker, HHH, Randy Orton, The Rock, Ric Flair, Kurt Angle, Edge, Hulk Hogan, JBL, Chris Daniels, Batista, and even the Negronomicon. I’ve won multiple championships both in singles as well as tag team. I’ve had some feuds that were real doozies. In fact, my home-slice HHH and I have had so many ‘I Quit’ and ‘Loser leave town’ matches I’ve lost count. I’ve wrestled backstabbers (Evolution) to a mask vs. valet match with MW3. I do also seem to recall a few years ago taking on the Negronomicon on a few occasions. Come to think of it, if I had just finished him off back then, we wouldn’t have had the crap we had to go through last year. Live and learn.
As I prepare to leave now, I take with me, my legacy…my history….and I leave you with some fantastic memories. I was offered a similar situation as Mick Foley but I felt that it really is time for me to take a well deserved break. I look forward to watching all of the guys in the back perform to their hearts’ content. I will you all the luck in the world.
Finally, I’d like to thank Donnie B. Without him, the HWF would never have been created and we all would never have had a place to showcase our talents. Thank you.”
At this point, Randy Orton’s music hits. Orton swaggers down to the ring and takes a mic of his own. “Really Shawn? Really? Tell me, are you gonna pull the same crap that you did in your WWE days? Fake an injury, take time off? How about ‘Losing your smile’…I really liked that one. Oh, and we can’t forget all those ‘guys in the back’ that you refused to put over? What about them? I’m here to tell you good riddance. We don’t need you here. You’re the past…I’m the future. Since you are no longer welcome here, I’d suggest you head home now, tuck your tail between your legs and get the hell out of my ring.”

Donnie B came to the ring, shook Shawn’s hand and signaled for the bell. The bell rang and Donnie B picked up Orton, connected with a Brainbuster and covered Randy for the 1-2-3. Donnie B left the ring and went to the back with Shawn. Orton eventually recovered and stomped his way towards the back.
We were then introduced to the Host wrestler for the evening, the HWF IC Champion, the Undertaker. Undertaker came out to address the crowd and told them that he felt that the Negronomicon was finished in this sport. He beat him from pillar to post and then left him lying in a heap in the middle of the ring. Tonight though, Negronomicon was going to have to compete again. This time, the host was not going to be the one who challenged the Negronomicon but one who made up the match. “Tonight, Negronomicon goes one on one with none other than Bruno Sammartino. And guess what, that match is happening now.”
Bruno made his way to the ring. Negronomicon came to the ramp but didn’t head down. He complained about having been through hell and back and there was no way he was wrestling tonight. The show following Wrestlemania was jam packed with a sold out crowd. The card started off with The Bruiser, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, Mohammed Hassan and Bobby Lashley all in the ring. Hassan thanked the crowd for allowing him to return but he felt he didn’t have the passion some of the other greats had and made the decision to retire. He thanked Kennedy for allowing his last match to be a “last-ditch effort” to win a belt but it just wasn’t meant to be. He then handed the mic to the Bruiser and left the ring. The Bruiser stated that not winning the battle royal seemed meant to be and that he enjoyed his run even though a lot of it was spent on the bench. He thanked the fans for supporting him and handed the mic to Mick Foley as he left the ring. Foley started off by saying that his match with the Undertaker wasn’t really for his career. Foley told management he was in some serious need for time off and was basically told that he had to be off for at least a month and could return at any time. He told the fans this was not the last time they’d see him in the ring. “You’ll know when I’m done”. He signed off with the “bang bang” and handed the mic to Bobby Lashley. Bobby started off by saying his wrestling career was the greatest thing that has ever happened to him professionally. He went on to say that he may be saying goodbye to wrestling but was saying hello to MMA. That’s right. Bobby will be making the move to mixed martial arts and said that he would make a huge impact once he gets himself established. “Watch for me. I don’t think a heavyweight title is out of my reach.” He got a huge ovation from the fans and then handed the mic to Shawn.
“You know, I’ve been in this business for a very long time. You may remember me starting out as some skinny, snot-nosed kid up in Minnesota. I started to learn the business (the hard way in some cases) and as I got better, my future opened up for me. At that time, I was teaming with my good friend Marty Janetty. Marty and I won tag team championships and then moved to the biggest game in town – The WWE (was the WWF back then). We held our own with some of the big dogs in the sport and persevered. When it came time for me to move on, Marty and I split and my singles career took off. I was at the top of my game throughout my tenure in the WWE but then when the HWF and CSWA came into play, this is where I feel I really skyrocketed. I’ve had some great feuds over the past years. I know I’m going to miss some of you but please, don’t be offended. I would like to personally thank MW3, the Undertaker, HHH, Randy Orton, The Rock, Ric Flair, Kurt Angle, Edge, Hulk Hogan, JBL, Chris Daniels, Batista, and even the Negronomicon. I’ve won multiple championships both in singles as well as tag team. I’ve had some feuds that were real doozies. In fact, my home-slice HHH and I have had so many ‘I Quit’ and ‘Loser leave town’ matches I’ve lost count. I’ve wrestled backstabbers (Evolution) to a mask vs. valet match with MW3. I do also seem to recall a few years ago taking on the Negronomicon on a few occasions. Come to think of it, if I had just finished him off back then, we wouldn’t have had the crap we had to go through last year. Live and learn.
As I prepare to leave now, I take with me, my legacy…my history….and I leave you with some fantastic memories. I was offered a similar situation as Mick Foley but I felt that it really is time for me to take a well deserved break. I look forward to watching all of the guys in the back perform to their hearts’ content. I will you all the luck in the world.

I’m here to tell you good riddance. We don’t need you here. You’re the past…I’m the future. Since you are no longer welcome here, I’d suggest you head home now, tuck your tail between your legs and get the hell out of my ring.”

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 3.4 – Wrestlemania is here!!!
Hello fans and welcome to the biggest PPV of the year – Wrestlemania – Live from Atlanta, GA. We have an action packed card in front of a sold out audience tonight so let’s get right down to business.
The first match of the night is our battle royal. The participants for this all include Ted Dibiasi, Mark Henry, Rhyno, Mike Knox, Goldust, Elijah Burke, Chavo Guerrero, JTG, Shad, Santino, Chris Masters, Cody Rhodes, Stevie Richards, (return of) The Bruiser, and Randy Orton. The winner of the match gets a title shot at whomever they want within their federation. At the last minute, we had some additions: HWF World Champion Donnie B, MW3, the Super Warrior and the Kraken.
Donnie B eliminates the Kraken. Randy Orton eliminates the Super Warrior. The Bruiser eliminates MW3. Donnie B eliminates Ted Dibiasi. Shad eliminates JTG. Stevie Richards eliminates Rhyno. Cody Rhodes eliminates his brother Goldust. Mark Henry eliminates Randy Orton. Santino eliminates Chavo. The Bruiser eliminates Mike Knox. Elijah Burke eliminates Chris Masters. Donnie B eliminates Shad after JTG came back out and distracted his partner. Stevie Richards eliminates Cody after Goldust distracted his brother. Santino got the upset after a reversal and elimination of Mark Henry. The Bruiser eliminated Elijah Burke. Donnie B eliminated Stevie Richards. Santino eliminated the Bruiser. The final two participants are Donnie B and Santino Marella. Donnie B eliminates Santino. Donnie B will get a future title shot at any HWF title he so chooses to be used in the next year. The Bruiser did not win so he also must retire.
The next match is Bobby Lashley taking on Edge. If Bobby loses, he must retire. Bobby kept the pace manageable but Edge was just too much for the champ. At the 7 minute mark, Edge hits a one man concerto on the champ and Bobby is not moving. Edge lands a flying elbow from the top rope and makes the cover for the 1-2-3. Edge is the NEW US CHAMPION. Bobby must retire. Bobby was helped to the back and got a standing ovation from the crowd.
Next up is Donnie B taking on Christian for the HWF World Heavyweight title. In a very quick match, Donnie B pins Christian after delivering a neckbreaker. Donnie B goes on to meet the CSWA champion.
Next is Booker T taking on Mr. Kennedy for the CSWA World Title. Booker owned the challenger and having the Super Warrior appear at ringside didn’t help Kennedy at all. Booker only went for 2 pin attempts the entire match – the first minute and the final minute. After a grueling 30 minute battle, the match is declared a draw. Booker will go on to meet Donnie B for a shot at Samoa Joe’s Undisputed Heavyweight title. After the match, Booker got on the mic and promised that he would defeat Donnie B and Samoa Joe tonight. If he does not, he will retire from the sport.
Following this lengthy battle was Batista vs. the Big Show. Batista was confident enough that he stated that if he loses, he will give his world title shot to the Big Show. The match went 11 minutes and the promise of a World title shot obviously gave Show the boost he needed. Show gets the win after delivering a thunderous chokeslam.
Next is Rey Mysterio taking on HHH. On the line is HHH’s spot. In 7 ½ minutes, HHH retains his spot after Mysterio got counted out.
Next is Fit Finley taking on Abyss with Finley’s world title shot on the line. This was the shortest match of the night. As soon as the bell rang, Finley tossed Abyss to the outside of the ring and knocked him out with the shillelagh. Abyss gets counted out at the 30 second mark.
Next up is the Intercontinental match with Mick Foley taking on the Undertaker. In 8 minutes, Undertaker gets the win after a chokeslam. Mick Foley is now unemployed.
Our first tag team match is up with CM Punk and Sting taking on the Dudleys. In 4 minutes, Devon gets counted out and Punk and Sting get the win but not the tag team titles. This brings out William Regal and he demands the match start over and this time will be a no dq/co match. The match now goes 21 minutes with probably the biggest threat the Dudleys have seen to date. CM Punk ends up hitting the Shining Wizard on Devon as Sting hits a Stinger Splash on Bubba. Punk makes the cover and with no partner to save him, gets the 1-2-3. CM Punk and Sting are the NEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS. The Dudleys will be entitled to a rematch…just not tonight.
John Cena was up next taking on the Kraken for the TV title. In 15 minutes, John Cena retains the belt after delivering an F-U in the middle of the ring.
Mr. Kennedy was up next defending the Cruiserweight title against Mohammed Hassan. In 3 quick minutes, Kennedy gets the win after connecting with the Mic Check. Hassan must now retire.
Next is our second tag match of the night with Hulk “TNA” Hogan and Ric “TNA” Flair taking on the team of MW3 and the Super Warrior. MW3 hits the MW2 kneelift right off the bat on Hogan and gets a 1 count. SW is tagged in and immediately is double teamed. The double teaming continues for 2 minutes but SW powers back with a power punch and knocks Flair out. Flair rolls to the outside and is unconscious. Hogan never even noticed. SW hits a cobra clutch on Hogan and he is almost out on his feet. MW3 is tagged back in and hits the MW2 kneelift again. He makes the cover and at the 6 minute mark, gets the 1-2-3. MW3 and SW are victorious. They both have a brief staredown in the ring but end up shaking hands and going their separate ways.
MVP vs. Shelton Benjamin is next with MVP’s US title shot on the line. In 16 minutes, MVP gets the win with the Drive-By.
Kane vs. Jeff Jarrett was next. Jarrett’s world title shot is on the line here. In 18 minutes, Kane gets the win and takes over Jarrett’s spot in the world title run.
Next is Donnie B taking on Booker T for the shot at Samoa Joe. In six minutes, Donnie B is victorious after Booker T gets counted out. Booker then gets on the mic and tells the wrestling world that he is done. He is immediately vacating the World title. He then walks out.
Immediately following, Jeff Meyers and William Regal come down and announce that there will be a battle royal with the World title contenders to crown a new champion. In this will be HHH, The Kraken, Ted Dibiasi, Mark Henry, Shawn Michaels, Kane, John Cena and Rey Mysterio. Rey eliminated HHH. Mark Henry eliminated Shawn Michaels. The Kraken eliminated John Cena (in payback for his not winning the TV title). Kane eliminates Ted Dibiasi. Rey Mysterio takes out Mark Henry with a big headscissors. Kane eliminates the Kraken. This leaves Mysterio vs. Kane with the winner becoming the new CSWA World Champion. In 22 minutes, after connecting with a 6-1-9, Rey Mysterio is the NEW CSWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION.
The next tag team match is John Morrison and Matt Hardy taking on Carlito and the Great Khali. In 25 minutes, the team of Morrison and Hardy get the win after Khali is counted out and Carlito was unable to make the save.
Next on the card is Kurt Angle taking on Samoa Joe for the North American title. In 8 minutes, Kurt gets the Undisputed Champion in the ankle lock and gets him to tap out. Kurt is now the NEW NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION.
Next is AJ Styles vs. Jay Lethal for the X-division title. In 16 minutes, AJ retains the belt after a clean pin in the middle of the ring.
Our 3rd to last match has Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels in a loser must retire. It was announced just a few minutes ago that Jericho would also have to put his career on the line here too. The winner gets to keep their job and the other goes home for good. In 15 minutes in what was probably one of the best matches, Jericho got Michaels trapped in the Walls of Jericho right in the middle of the ring. Shawn had nowhere to go so he had no choice but to tap out. Shawn is now out of a job. All of his title shots now go to Chris.
Next we have Donnie B taking on Samoa Joe for the Undisputed Championship. Joe’s ankle still appeared to be bothering him but not enough to keep Donnie B at bay. This one goes 12 minutes and Joe gets the pin after locking in a modified camel clutch. Joe retains the Undisputed Championship.
The final match of the night is Undertaker vs. Negronomicon in a Hell in a Cell. In what was a total shocker, Undertaker locks in the Triangle choke and in the first few seconds of the match, Negronomicon taps out. N got up to leave and Undertaker stopped him. Taker gave him the thumb across the neck sign and N started to panic. He tried to get out of the cage but the refs wouldn’t open the door. For the next 28 minutes, Undertaker beat the holy hell out of Negronomicon. Taker hit a B-52 kneedrop, multiple tombstone piledrivers and Last Rides. N had a bit of offense in there but not too much. The enc came when Undertaker hit a Tombstone piledriver followed by the Last Ride and a powerslam THROUGH the cage wall. Undertaker then went for the pin and got the 3 count. He then walked out of the ring and was declared the winner of the match.

Shawn had nowhere to go so he had no choice but to tap out. Shawn is now out of a job. All of his title shots now go to Chris.
Next we have Donnie B taking on Samoa Joe for the Undisputed Championship. Joe’s ankle still appeared to be bothering him but not enough to keep Donnie B at bay. This one goes 12 minutes and Joe gets the pin after locking in a modified camel clutch. Joe retains the Undisputed Championship.
The final match of the night is Undertaker vs. Negronomicon in a Hell in a Cell. In what was a total shocker, Undertaker locks in the Triangle choke and in the first few seconds of the match, Negronomicon taps out. N got up to leave and Undertaker stopped him. Taker gave him the thumb across the neck sign and N started to panic. He tried to get out of the cage but the refs wouldn’t open the door. For the next 28 minutes, Undertaker beat the holy hell out of Negronomicon. Taker hit a B-52 kneedrop, multiple tombstone piledrivers and Last Rides. N had a bit of offense in there but not too much. The enc came when Undertaker hit a Tombstone piledriver followed by the Last Ride and a powerslam THROUGH the cage wall. Undertaker then went for the pin and got the 3 count. He then walked out of the ring and was declared the winner of the match.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 3.3 – Pre-Wrestlemania notes
As expected, the Texas Holdem tournament was a huge success. 144 people from all over the globe participated in the tournament. The former winner Christian was eliminated by the same person who beat him for the World Title – Donnie B.
Texas Holdem Tourney came down to the final four – Rick Martel, The Rock, Lex Luger and Road Warrior Animal. Martel eliminated the Rock after Rock tried to bluff while Martel had quad aces. Luger dispatched Animal with ease. Animal had seemed frustrated early on (on tilt) and never recovered. The end came when Martel, who had tried to bluff with A 10 against Lugers Pocket K’s. The river came and while Luger had trip Kings, Martel ended up with a straight. Rick Martel won the 2nd Texas Holdem Tournament. Martel was pleased. Christian came down and handed over the title. Martel will hold it until the next tournament.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 3.2 – March updates leading up to Wrestlemania
Hello fans. We have a lot to cover so I’ll get started.
Over in the HWF, Edge issues a challenge to John Cena for his #1 contender spot for the US title. In what was a really good performance, Edge gets the win after a well placed DDT in the middle of the ring. Edge is now the #1 contender for the US title and will meet Bobby Lashley at Wrestlemania.
Mr. Kennedy challenged Lashley for his spot for the World title and won after hitting the mic check. Kennedy didn’t want to wrestle multiple times at the PPV so he allowed The Kraken to take his spot. The Kraken will meet John Cena at Wrestlemania for the TV title.
Christian challenged the Undertaker for his #1 spot for the World Title and won the match after Undertaker got counted out. Samoa Joe came down and distracted Undertaker so he did not make it back in before the 10 count. Christian will be going to take on the man who took the World title from him – Donnie B.
Mick Foley challenged Samoa Joe for his spot at the IC title and won. Mick Foley will go on to meet Undertaker at Wrestlemania for the Intercontinental title.
Jay Lethal defeated Donnie B via count out for his spot for the X-division title. Jay Lethal is now the #1 contender and will go to Wrestlemania to meet AJ Styles.

William Regal declares that certain people, drawn at random, will have to put their careers on the line at Wrestlemania. If someone loses, he must retire. Names that were drawn include Booker T, Bobby Lashley, Mohammed Hassan, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley, The Bruiser, and the Super Warrior.
It was announced that Rob Van Dam will be signing a contract with either the HWF or CSWA. Based on who is forced into retirement, a new draft may happen and RVD will then be part of the draft

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 3.1
Hello fans. First off, I really have to apologize for the lack of information for this entire month. We ended up moving our headquarters from Colorado to Arizona but things didn't work out as well as we had hoped.
It turns out that the office space needed was much smaller than anticipated and we are still in search of a new place. Right now, we are occupying a small apartment like office and we just don't have room to get our stuff set up.
We have lots of information to pass along (a few surprise announcements will be thrown in) and I hope to start getting that sent in to you.
Without giving too much away, Wrestlemania has taken place and the results will be posted soon. One note though, the Texas Holdem Tournament was a huge success and I think you'll be surprised at who won.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 2.10
Hello fans. This will be the final newsletter from February. We wanted to just send out a very interesting update.
The team of Haas and AJ Styles got their tag team title shot. An interesting note before the match began was that Haas was heard in the back talking about how he would defeat the Dudley’s and if he couldn’t, he’d retire. In a match that barely went 3 minutes, the Dudley’s retained the belts when Charlie Haas got counted out. Charlie actually got put through a table and was unable to make it back in the ring. With this realization, Charlie Haas is no longer employed by the HWF. With his departure, that made two vacancies in the HWF top 10 for the IC and X-division titles. All members of the top 10’s will move up to fill those particular vacancies and the empty slots will be left at the end and will be fulfilled later on down the line.
Also of note the Texas Holdem Tourney that will be held the night before Wrestlemania has garnered such interest now that the tournament has been increased in size to hold 144 particpants (58 active wresters and 86 invited guests). Amazing.
Stay tuned as we continue our countdown to Wrestlemania.

Hello fans. We have some great news to pass along so let’s get right on it.
The top 10’s are now all set up except for the tag team titles. A tournament will be held to fill the final 2 vacant spots in the top 6 for the tag team titles.
A video arrived at our office and it was from none other than MW3. MW3, in an accompanying note, stated that he wants this vignette run. After checking it out to make sure it wasn’t something horrible (like when HE came back (referring to Superstar Billy Pearl a few years ago)), we ran the video. Enjoy.
The shot is of MW3 sitting on a chair in the dark, a ceiling lamp swinging overhead....showing him and then putting him in the shadows.

It seems that the powers that be have deemed that MW3 should suffer. That somehow, while others ruined federations with their legions of flunkies, and you turd-bags know who you are, are getting rewarded, some of us are getting the Shaft. No, not like Richard Roundtree, I'm not talkin' 'bout THAT Shaft.
So I've been put into matches lately...and lets say nothing has gone my way. I'm not gonna bitch about the matches I really lost....those few I did, but the matches where I had some turd on his back, and the ref can't seem to remember how to count to 3. Or when some jack-hole has me on my back, and suddenly the rules of physics bend and 3 seconds comes faster than it should.
Now, I get the ultimate slap in the face. Now I am wrestling the has-beens of the business. These old, broken down penniless bastards who can't seem to let go of the business and do us all a favor and walk their asses off into the sunset and die....no, they come back like a damn crack addict and beg for a shot...and what happens, they put these geezers in with me, and lo and behold some how they get their tights on over their Depends, take an obscene and possibly illegal amount of Geritol and somehow manage to pin MW3, The Masked Sensation.
Got to say...I'm baffled. I called in Scooby-Doo and the Gang in their little green van to solve this one, and they ain't got shit. And if THAT wasn't enough, some douche-bag lawyer in a suit says in my contract is a clause....that I got to wrestle tag team. So now, I got the bookers, the refs and now a bunch of low rent ambulance chasers trying to screw me. I figure how bad can it get, right? I might get a good partner?
Hurricane? Hurri-NO. That guy got up and walked out today. So much for that. Jeff Hardy? Jeff WHO-dy....nope. MVP? MV-uh-un. Golddust? Not so much.... Carilto? Carli-NO. I even asked for the Gold Standard, Shelton Benjamin....I was told, “NO Standard”.
But someone was gracious, and even had the gall to tell me to be grateful that I was going to get someone who would help turn my fortunes around.

Now before I could tell them exactly what they could do with that, the low rent suits waived my contract in my face....and to add insult to injury...not only is the SW going to be the Masked Sensation's partner....but we'll be wrestling in the GDWF...yep, the good old Geritol-Depends Wrestling Fed. And it gets even better. Oh yeah...seems that you people out there in TV land liked last weeks match so much, that I have to team up with my idiot partner AGAIN, and wrestle Geriatric Hulk Hogan and the "Nature Moobs" Ric Flair.....AGAIN. In fact, to fulfill my contract and get through this, the Stupid Warrior and I have to wrestle AND beat every one of the tag teams in not only the GDWF, but the HWF and CSWA.
Hogan...Flair....eat your damn fiber....take your heart pills....and pray to God, because until I find a way out of my contract and stop getting screwed by the refs around here, I am going to be beating the hell out you and every other old bastard who can lace their boots and put on tights over their overweight bodies.
And Warrior...I swear to god, you can be a part of the solution that get's me out of here, or you can be a part of the problem...in which case, I am going to do to you what i did to our friend here....."
Camera pans over to the left and there we see, tied to a chair, with a bloody steel chair on the ground next to him is "The Living Legend" Larry Zybysko. Zybysko is in bad shape and is out cold.
"Take a look Warrior....if you screw me, this is going to be you. Hogan...Flair...you're next "brother"....WHOOOOOOOO!!!
In a response to what MW3 posted, the Super Warrior had this to add:
“You know MW3, I don’t relish being teamed up with you either. The fact that I, a being who is greater than anyone around, has to be tied down to such a mortal as yourself. With my superior intelligence, I can see how this could work out for us. We may not like each other but we have a common ground. I, too, would like to see Hogan and Flair get buried and disappear for good. As the saying goes, the old must make way for the new and we are “the new”. I am above the petty comments you have made but I will promise you that if YOU do not hold up your end of the bargain, your END will come sooner than you can even comprehend. Hogan and Flair: you are the past. We are the future. We will introduce you to pastures unknown and put you out for grazing.
I have accepted one last shot at Mr. Kennedy. Kennedy, there will be no excuses. You will have no where to go. You will need to bring your “A” game as I do not plan on leaving without the gold. If fate intervenes and doesn’t allow for it to happen, then so be it. This warrior has been down in the ashes of a world gone blind and will rise to once again become a superior force to reckon with. So Sayeth the Warrior.”
This was pretty exciting to watch but two people in the back who were watching it didn’t feel the same way. Yes, I’m referring to Hulk “TNA” Hogan and Ric “TNA” Flair. Surprisingly, Hogan and Flair shared the same platform but Hogan, the egomaniac, decided he got to talk first:
“Well you know Super Warrior brother, I have beaten your namesake. The Ultimate Warrior was an ultimate joke. He thought he could carry the world on his shoulders and it was obvious he failed. Like him, brother, you will fail and I will be sure that humiliation follows. And whatcha gonna do when the largest arms in the world and the power of Hulkamania tear you in two….?”
Ric then got on the mic: “Wooo. You know MW3, you talk a good game. You think you can run in the same race as us. That is a laugh. The Nature Boy is the greatest wrestler on the planet. My partner, Hulk Hogan, is the greatest entertainer in the business. Together we will take out any threat and will reign supreme as the tag team champions of the world. My geriatric little finger could whip your ass from Syracuse to San Diego without even breaking a sweat. We have nothing to fear from you two losers and we will be the ones who will be standing victorious. WOOOOOO!”
There are currently two spots left for the tag team titles. A tag team tournament would be held with all members of the roster. There are some teams who are currently getting shots at the titles. If they end up as one of the final two, they will get an additional shot. If the champs win it, then the spot will be left vacant.

In the finals, the Kraken and Jeff Hardy defeat the team of John Morrison and Matt Hardy. Since they made it this far, Morrison and Matt Hardy will get the 6th spot for the tag team titles.
In a sign of good faith, the teams of Carlito/Khali and Lethal & Rhodes will also be given opportunities. This expands the tag team title hunt to 8 teams. A match was held between these participants to see who would be ranked #7 and #8. Carlito and Khali won the match by countout so they will be ranked higher.

In a response to what MW3 posted, the Super Warrior had this to add:
“You know MW3
I have accepted one last shot at Mr. Kennedy. Kennedy, there will be no excuses. You will have no where to go. You will need to bring your “A” game as I do not plan on leaving without the gold. If fate intervenes and doesn’t allow for it to happen, then so be it. This warrior has been down in the ashes of a world gone blind and will rise to once again become a superior force to reckon with. So Sayeth the Warrior.”
This was pretty exciting to watch but two people in the back who were watching it didn’t feel the same way. Yes, I’m referring to Hulk “TNA” Hogan and Ric “TNA” Flair. Surprisingly, Hogan and Flair shared the same platform but Hogan, the egomaniac, decided he got to talk first:
“Well you know Super Warrior brother, I have beaten your namesake. The Ultimate Warrior was an ultimate joke. He thought he could carry the world on his shoulders and it was obvious he failed. Like him, brother, you will fail and I will be sure that humiliation follows. And whatcha gonna do when the largest arms in the world and the power of Hulkamania tear you in two….?”
Ric then got on the mic: “Wooo. You know MW3, you talk a good game. You think you can run in the same race as us. That is a laugh. The Nature Boy is the greatest wrestler on the planet. My partner, Hulk Hogan, is the greatest entertainer in the business. Together we will take out any threat and will reign supreme as the tag team champions of the world. My geriatric little finger could whip your ass from Syracuse to San Diego without even breaking a sweat. We have nothing to fear from you two losers and we will be the ones who will be standing victorious. WOOOOOO!”
There are currently two spots left for the tag team titles. A tag team tournament would be held with all members of the roster. There are some teams who are currently getting shots at the titles. If they end up as one of the final two, they will get an additional shot. If the champs win it, then the spot will be left vacant.

In the finals, the Kraken and Jeff Hardy defeat the team of John Morrison and Matt Hardy. Since they made it this far, Morrison and Matt Hardy will get the 6th spot for the tag team titles.
In a sign of good faith, the teams of Carlito/Khali and Lethal & Rhodes will also be given opportunities. This expands the tag team title hunt to 8 teams. A match was held between these participants to see who would be ranked #7 and #8. Carlito and Khali won the match by countout so they will be ranked higher.

Hello fans. There was one piece of information we forgot to discuss in the last issue. Edge had gone in search for Mr. Meyers. He found him talking to the Hurricane. Hurricane had his bags packed and was thanking Mr. Meyers for the opportunity to wrestle. “You know Shane, you are always welcome back if you change your mind”. The Hurricane thanked him and in a homage to Snagglepuss, he “exited, stage left.” Edge approached Mr. Meyers and told him about what happened to Mr. Regal and asked if there was an opportunity for him to get another shot at Lashley. “Mr. Meyers, I know I can beat him. I did it once before. I really want this shot. What can I do to earn it?” “Well Edge, you certainly showed everyone what you can do. But, you did lose the belt right back to him. So, you ask what you can do. Well, the drawing for the Top 10 will be taking place and Donnie B and I will be running it in William’s absence. I tell you what though. I want you go out and wrestle Bobby in a non-title match. If you win, I will guarantee you a title shot at him. I won’t be able to guarantee when but it will be a shot. What do you say?” “Thanks Mr. Meyers. I won’t let you down.” Edge then headed off to the ring for his match against Lashley.
In a 25 minute battle that was a recap of their PPV match, Edge gets a win over the champ after delivering a Spear. He made the cover in the middle of the ring and got the 1-2-3. Edge is now in contention for the US title.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 2.7 – PPV fallout
Well fans, we are back having survived another PPV. With the end of this one, we start on the road to Wrestlemania which will be taking place next month in Atlanta, GA. In hindsight, I guess that location would have been a better one for having Michael Hayes as a guest host wrestler but oh well. Once again, the Negronomicon got his butt handed to him and the fans just love it. We also saw 2x HWF World Champ Christian lose the belt to the Original Big Daddy Donnie B. The fact that Donnie B won that match AND won against Booker T (granted it was by countout but a win is a win) was just plain explosive. Mr. Kennedy continues his winning streak as the CSWA Cruiserweight Champion. We saw US Champion Bobby Lashley lose and regain the title in the same night after losing to and then defeating Edge. Booker T is still the CSWA World Champion and John Cena retained the TV title after defeating Ted Dibiasi Jr. Ted was on a roll and is looking to get back into the run of things. IC Champion the Undertaker also had a rough night after losing the belt to Randy Orton but then turning around and defeating him to regain the title. Samoa Joe is still the Undisputed Champion as well as the North American champion defeating Donnie B for the Undisputed title and Mick Foley for the NA title. AJ Styles also retained the X-Division title. The Dudley’s also retained the Tag Team belts after defeating Cryme Tyme.
After not getting any air-time, the Hurricane has asked to be let out of his contract. We wish him the best in all that he decides to pursue. With the departure of the Hurricane, that allowed for one spot in the texas holdem tournament to be filled. None other than Tommy “Wildfire” Rich stepped up and took that spot.
In the back, Donnie B was hanging out in the VIP room and he was approached by Edge. “Hey Mr. B. How’s it going?” Donnie B replied “Good Edge. What can I do for you?” “Well” Edge continued, “you know that at the PPV, I defeated Bobby Lashley to become the US Champion. I’m wondering if you could use your influence and get me another match.” “Well, I don’t have any control at all in the CSWA and William Regal is the GM so you may want to speak with him directly.” “Thanks Mr. B. I will go talk with Mr. Regal. I appreciate it and congrats again on your win.” Edge leaves and Donnie B kicks back and relaxes with his title.
William Regal comes in and sits down with Donnie B. DB tells William about the conversation he just had with Edge. “You know, my good man, I still don’t think I’m getting the respect that I should be as GM.” “Oh, I don’t know about that,” Donnie B said. “I think Edge just wanted me to pull some strings but I think he really knows better.” One topic they talked about is that Donnie B is number one contender for X-Division title. He is told by William Regal that if he accepts the shot and loses, he must give AJ a shot at the World Title. Donnie B asks if he can give the shot away to someone of his choosing. Regal says he will think on it.
At this point, Randy Orton walked in. “I see how it is. The two of you are just conspiring against me…holding me back. Well, I’m here to tell you this Mr. GM; Mr HWF owner. I’m not taking it anymore. I am tired of getting screwed over by the two of you. Yeah, DB, I know you are pulling Regal’s strings here so don’t play dumb.” Regal interrupted “Listen here you toe-jam maggot, I am in charge – not Mr. B. I make the matches, I pull the strings of puppets such as yourself. You will listen to me or you will pay the penalty.” At this point, Orton sucker punches Regal and threw him into one of the office walls and Regal went INTO it. He then attacked Donnie B but the HWF owner was ready for him and had a chair handy. “Ok Orton. You’ve done it now. Until Regal is back up and running, you are hereby SUSPENDED without pay AND this little outburst just cost you ANY hope you ever had of getting ANY title shot from here on out. Stop and think before you act. Your next action will determine if you will even have a job. Now get out. Don’t call us…we’ll call you.” Orton stomped out of the room.
Edge then walked in and asked what about Lashley. DB told him to find Mr. Meyers as he is in the building tonight. He’ll give you an answer.
Both MW3 and the Super Warrior have been on losing streaks as of late. They both are needing to find some inspiration to get themselves back on track. At the same time, Hogan and Flair have been complaining about not getting any air time. Before the attack, Regal made a match between the 4 men.
The tag team match between MW3 and the Super Warrior and the team of Hogan and Flair ended up going to a 30 minute draw. Both Hogan and Flair got pins but their opponents managed to continue making the save. Hogan and Flair dominated the bout but just couldn’t get the job done. Hogan and Flair are still demanding a tag team title shot so we’ll see what Regal thinks when he comes back.
In other news, the Negronomicon has expressed is unhappiness with his current contract (what a shocker!). Too bad Donnie B nor William Regal will give him the time of day. Good for them.
In our first piece of news regarding a match at Wrestlemania is that we have our first match confirmed for the show: The Undertaker vs. Negronomicon in a Hell in the Cell. Undertaker has stated that he has a grudge to settle with his former boss. He also acknowledged that if he is still holding a title when Wrestlemania comes around, he will defend the title on the same show. Also, the second Texas Holdem Tournament will be taking place the night before. We will have a great turnout.
Rey Mysterio is the #1 contender for the CSWA World title. Bobby Lashley, the US Champion, challenges Mysterio for that shot. Mysterio says he will accept provided Lashley puts the US title on the line. Bobby accepts and states that if he cannot beat Mysterio, he will retire from the sport. In 7 minutes, Bobby dominates Rey and pins him after a vicious boot to the gut.
As noted earlier, Super Warrior has been on a bit of a losing streak and he cut this promo for us: “Misterrrrrrr Kennedyyyy!!! Every superhero has his kryptonite and it seems you have found mine. The horrific sounds coming from that enormous orifice in your face is enough to weaken even the strongest of heroes but make no mistake you big-mouthed buffoon, I will find a way to eventually win the day in the end like every good hero does!”
After hearing this, Mr. Kennedy did indeed have a reply for the Super Warrior: “Warrior? HA. Super? HA HA. You really are Super though…a Super Joke. How many times did I beat you? 3 times in the span of a couple of months. You’re not even a blip on my radar. But I suppose you still want to take on the Master, don’t you? So how about this? I will give you ONE last match – I’ll even make it no DQ. You win, you become the champ. I of course, would get my rematch so I’m not worried about that. If you lose though, you will never challenge for any title that I currently hold OR am in contention for. What do you say? Are you up to the challenge or will you go slink back down to the rock you’ve been hiding under? I await your reply with anticipation….well, actually no. It’s up to you Super Joke.”
We are waiting on a reply from the Super Warrior at this time.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 2.6 – Night of Champions PPV
Hello fans. Welcome to our second PPV of the year – Night of Champions. We are honored to begin our show with the introduction of two legends from this sport – Michael PS Hayes and Kevin Von Erich. Both men come out to “Badstreet USA” blaring over the speakers. Kevin was doing a little jig walking down to the ring with Hayes. Kevin got on the mic first and thanked the fans for supporting him and his family throughout their careers. Kevin recaps about his brothers’ accomplishments and lays white roses in the ring – one for each member of his family that has passed away. Michael takes over and says that the fans here can’t compare to those from his day. The fans now only want to see “Oh Sh!t” moments and couldn’t appreciate what they did in the past – working 60 minute matches and coming back the next day for more. He then says that the fans of today are actually really smart and at least no one (in recent memory) has tried to really hurt him for beating up the beloved Von Erichs in the ring. Kevin and Michael reminisce for a couple of more minutes and then Michael says that he has an announcement to make. For one night only, Kevin and Michael will come out of retirement to face the no-good rat-skunk Negronomicon in the ring. Both men are actually looking forward to it. They thank the fans and then Kevin stops and says he gets to announce the first match of the evening. It will be HWF World Champion Christian taking on The Original Big Daddy Donnie B.
Donnie B comes to the ring first followed by Christian. Christian shows Donnie B the title and then hands it to the ref. The bell rings. Christian starts off with an inverted DDT but Donnie B hits a superplex. Christian hits a dropkick and then gets tossed out of the ring. He is back in at 7. Christian goes for the one man concerto but Donnie B gets out of the way. Donnie B is tossed out of the ring but hops back in at 2. He then hits another superplex on the champ and goes for a pin. Christian kicks out at 2. Christian hits a flapjack but Donnie B hits another superplex. Christian hits another DDT and Donnie B hits a flying dropkick. Donnie B connects with another superplex and makes the cover. The ref counts 1….2…..3. Donnie B has just defeated Christian to become the NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. Unbelievable. Christian is no longer the longest reigning champion so he does not get an immediate rematch.
Our second match on the card is MW3 taking on MVP. MVP starts off strong hitting a facebreaker knee smash. MW3 comes back with an insuguri. MW3 hits a swinging neckbreaker and MVP hits a snap scoop powerslam. MW3 then hits the MW3 driver but MVP rolls out of the ring to prevent a pin attempt. After messing around outside the ring, he eventually makes it back in. He locks in a three quarter facelock ending MW3 offensive run. MVP follows it up with a snap overhead belly to belly suplex. MW3 hits a MW2 kneelift out of nowhere and goes for the pin. MVP kicks out at 2. MW3 hits a reverse neckbreaker but MVP hits a snap scoop powerslam. MVP hits a big running boot. MVP then hits the drive by and goes for a pin but MW3 kicks out at 2. MVP hits the drive by again for another 2 count. An MW3 superkick is met by a playmaker from MVP. MVP tries to toss MW3 out of the ring but that is nullified. MW3 goes to offer friendship but kicks MVP in the groin. MVP answers with a dragon screw. MVP locks in the three quarter facelock and turns it into a pin. With his feet on the ropes, MVP gets the 1-2-3. MVP is the winner of this match.
The third match is brother vs. brother with Matt Hardy taking on his brother Jeff. This did not go long at all. In 5 minutes, Matt beat Jeff after hitting him with a flying clothesline.
The Undisputed Champion and current North American Champion Samoa Joe came out to defend the title against Mick Foley. Mick controlled the majority of the match until at the 11 minute mark, Joe tossed Mick to the outside. He followed him out and hit a muscle buster right on the steel steps. Joe rolled back in and waited for the 10 count. Mick was not able to make it back in the ring and ended up getting counted out. Joe retains the NA title.
Up next is the Super Warrior taking on Mr. Kennedy for the Cruiserweight title. As the bell rang, Kennedy jumped out of the ring and started to walk away. He was in the process of getting counted out but William Regal came out and told the ref to stop counting. Obviously Mr. Kennedy didn’t get the memo. This match is a no countout / DQ match. He needed to get back in the ring so this bout could continue. Kennedy hit the mic check right off the bat and SW never came back from it. Kennedy controlled the match and SW did very little but take the abuse and kick out of pin attempts. In 20 minutes, Kennedy gets the win after hitting an inverted superplex. Kennedy retains the Cruiserweight title.
Our first tag team match of the night is up and it is DX taking on CM Punk and Sting. HHH and CM Punk started off this match. HHH tagged out early and Michaels stayed in for the majority of the match. This match went 18 minutes and Shawn fell victim to the Shining Wizard. CM Punk and Sting are the winners of this match. It is very possible they may be getting a title match soon.
Our second tag match is the Dudley’s defending the World Tag Team titles against Cryme Tyme. In 18 minutes, the Dudley’s are victorious and retain the titles after Bubba hit a nasty bodyslam on JTG.
Next up was Fit Finley taking on the Big Show. In 8 ½ minutes, Big Show tosses Finley out of the ring and Finley is unable to make it back into the ring. Big Show gets the win via countout.
Out next comes our guest host wrestlers Michael Hayes and Kevin Von Erich. They called down the Negronomicon for the next match. Negronomicon came out and said that there was no way he was going to wrestle in a handicap match. “I’ll tell you old fogies something…one of you can get your ass kicked here tonight. I don’t care which. Flip a coin.” So they did and the winning flip goes to Michael PS Hayes. Hayes starts off with his funky strut and N bitch slaps him. Hayes locks in a grinding headlock which N reverses and hits a flying elbow. Michael then hits a boot to the gut of N. A big bodyslam from Hayes and N is screaming in pain (ala old school Eddie Gilbert). N tosses Hayes out of the ring but Kevin helps him back in and Hayes hits the Hot’lanta suplex and goes for a pin but N kicks out at 2. N hits a flying elbow. Hayes hits a freefall legdrop and goes for a pin but N kicks out. Hayes hits a bodyslam and N kicks him in the gut. Hayes goes to the ropes and doesn’t do anything so N hits him with a flying elbow. Another bodyslam from Hayes and N hits a dragon suplex. N goes for the gutbusta suplex off the ropes but Hayes nullifies it. Hayes hits another freefall legdrop but just gets a 2 count. Hayes lands a fist drop and goes for a pin but N kicks out. N hits a snap suplex and goes for a pin but the slow count ref only gives him 2. N hits the black doom and goes for the pin but Kevin Von Erich pulls the ref out. What the heck? Kevin gets in the ring and rocks N with some discuss punches and then locks in the CLAW. N is screaming in pain and trying to tap out but there is no ref. Kevin gets out of the ring and helps the ref back in apologizing for what he did. Hayes hits a Grits Smash and goes for a cover. With some pulling of the tights and his feet on the ropes, he gets the 1-2-3. Michael Hayes (with an assist from Kevin Von Erich) gets the win. Hayes starts going on about how he did it all alone and this ticks off Kevin. Kevin then discuss punches Hayes and puts the Claw on him. Hayes is screaming in the ring and taps out. The ref, clueless as to what is going on, rings the bell again and raises Kevin’s hand in victory. Hayes and Von Erich leave separately.
Next up is Batista taking on Kurt Angle. This match goes 12 minutes and in the end, the power of Batista is just too much for the former Olympic hero and Kurt fails to kick out after a devastating Batista Bomb.
CSWA World Champion Booker T is out next taking on Chris Jericho. In 18 minutes of serious ass kicking, Booker T gets the win and will go on to meet HWF World Champion Donnie B to see who will meet Samoa Joe at the end of the night.
AJ Styles is up next defending his newly won X-Division title against the Kraken. Styles starts off with a armlock facebuster but Kraken hits a piledriver. AJ then tosses the Kraken to the outside but he is back in at 8. Styles hits a flying dropkick. Styles hits a spin kick and Kraken tosses him to the outside. AJ is back in at 7. AJ hits a gutbuster and then goes for a pin but Kraken kicks out. The Kraken then tosses AJ into the corner. He follows him in and tries to kick AJ in the groin but AJ reverses it and hits a spin kick. He goes for a pin but only gets a 2 count. AJ hits another gut buster but Kraken tosses him to the outside. He is back in by 8. AJ tosses the Kraken out but he is back in at 7 and locks in a figure four leglock. AJ doesn’t tap. AJ hits another gut buster and goes for a pin and a 2 count. AJ hits a spin kick and goes for a pin and gets a 2 count. The Kraken locks in a headlock but AJ hits the Styles’ Clash but the Kraken is close to the ropes so there is only a 1 count. They go back and forth and eventually AJ hits a Style’s Clash and gets the 1-2-3. AJ retains the X-division title.
CSWA TV Champ John Cena is out to defend the title against the former title holder Ted Dibiasi Jr. This one goes 11 minutes and after leaving a boot imprint on the face of Ted, Cena makes the cover and gets the win. Cena retains the TV title.
Next is the battle of the World Champions. HWF Champ Donnie B is taking on CSWA Booker T. In the shortest match of the night, Booker hits a spinning smash but Donnie B tosses Booker out of the ring. DB handcuffs Booker to the ringside post. Booker is freaking out. Donnie B ends up with the win via countout and will go on to meet Samoa Joe for the Undisputed Championship.
CSWA US Champion Bobby Lashley is up next against Edge. This one goes 18 minutes and in the third biggest shocker of the night, Edge defeats Bobby Lashley to win the US title. Lashley, the longest reigning champion, demands a rematch. Edge tries to refuse but William Regal comes out and makes the match. In 4 minutes, Edge ends up getting counted out and Lashley wins via CO but doesn’t win the title. Lashley was a tad upset here and demanded Regal come out to clear it up. Regal came out and agreed with Lashley that Edge took a shortcut and it would not fly. He said that Lashley and Edge will meet again but this time in a steel cage. In a brutal and bloody 18 minute battle, Lashley pins Edge with a football tackle into the cage wall. Bobby then climbs out of the ring and is declared the winner of the match and once again, the US Champion.
Our second to last match is the Undertaker taking on Randy Orton for the Intercontinental title. Regal came out before the match began and said that he didn’t want what happened earlier to happen in this match so this match and the final one of the night would all be steel cage matches. In 16 minutes, Randy puts the Undertaker down with an RKO that followed a catapult into the cage wall. Randy then made for the door and made it out becoming the new HWF Intercontinental Champion.
The Undertaker then demanded his rematch immediately. As soon as the bell rang, a masked person ran down to the ring and threw in a chain to the Undertaker. Taker then choked the holy hell out of Orton. He then chained Orton to the cage wall. Undertaker then nailed a big boot. He then climbed over the cage wall and a trapped Orton had nowhere to go. Undertaker regains the IC title in 3 minutes with the escape out of the cage.
The final match of the night is for the Undisputed Championship held by Samoa Joe taking on The Original Big Daddy Donnie B. Joe immediately goes to the top of the cage and hits a flying double elbow to the groin. Donnie B is not moving. Joe makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3. He then walks out of the cage and is declared the winner of the match and still the Undisputed Champion at the 1 minute mark.

Donnie B comes to the ring first followed by Christian. Christian shows Donnie B the title and then hands it to the ref. The bell rings. Christian starts off with an inverted DDT but Donnie B hits a superplex. Christian hits a dropkick and then gets tossed out of the ring. He is back in at 7. Christian goes for the one man concerto but Donnie B gets out of the way. Donnie B is tossed out of the ring but hops back in at 2. He then hits another superplex on the champ and goes for a pin. Christian kicks out at 2. Christian hits a flapjack but Donnie B hits another superplex. Christian hits another DDT and Donnie B hits a flying dropkick. Donnie B connects with another superplex and makes the cover. The ref counts 1….2…..3. Donnie B has just defeated Christian to become the NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. Unbelievable. Christian is no longer the longest reigning champion so he does not get an immediate rematch.
Our second match on the card is MW3 taking on MVP. MVP starts off strong hitting a facebreaker knee smash. MW3 comes back with an insuguri. MW3 hits a swinging neckbreaker and MVP hits a snap scoop powerslam. MW3 then hits the MW3 driver but MVP rolls out of the ring to prevent a pin attempt. After messing around outside the ring, he eventually makes it back in. He locks in a three quarter facelock ending MW3 offensive run. MVP follows it up with a snap overhead belly to belly suplex. MW3 hits a MW2 kneelift out of nowhere and goes for the pin. MVP kicks out at 2. MW3 hits a reverse neckbreaker but MVP hits a snap scoop powerslam. MVP hits a big running boot. MVP then hits the drive by and goes for a pin but MW3 kicks out at 2. MVP hits the drive by again for another 2 count. An MW3 superkick is met by a playmaker from MVP. MVP tries to toss MW3 out of the ring but that is nullified. MW3 goes to offer friendship but kicks MVP in the groin. MVP answers with a dragon screw. MVP locks in the three quarter facelock and turns it into a pin. With his feet on the ropes, MVP gets the 1-2-3. MVP is the winner of this match.
The third match is brother vs. brother with Matt Hardy taking on his brother Jeff. This did not go long at all. In 5 minutes, Matt beat Jeff after hitting him with a flying clothesline.
The Undisputed Champion and current North American Champion Samoa Joe came out to defend the title against Mick Foley. Mick controlled the majority of the match until at the 11 minute mark, Joe tossed Mick to the outside. He followed him out and hit a muscle buster right on the steel steps. Joe rolled back in and waited for the 10 count. Mick was not able to make it back in the ring and ended up getting counted out. Joe retains the NA title.
Up next is the Super Warrior taking on Mr. Kennedy for the Cruiserweight title. As the bell rang, Kennedy jumped out of the ring and started to walk away. He was in the process of getting counted out but William Regal came out and told the ref to stop counting. Obviously Mr. Kennedy didn’t get the memo. This match is a no countout / DQ match. He needed to get back in the ring so this bout could continue. Kennedy hit the mic check right off the bat and SW never came back from it. Kennedy controlled the match and SW did very little but take the abuse and kick out of pin attempts. In 20 minutes, Kennedy gets the win after hitting an inverted superplex. Kennedy retains the Cruiserweight title.
Our first tag team match of the night is up and it is DX taking on CM Punk and Sting. HHH and CM Punk started off this match. HHH tagged out early and Michaels stayed in for the majority of the match. This match went 18 minutes and Shawn fell victim to the Shining Wizard. CM Punk and Sting are the winners of this match. It is very possible they may be getting a title match soon.
Our second tag match is the Dudley’s defending the World Tag Team titles against Cryme Tyme. In 18 minutes, the Dudley’s are victorious and retain the titles after Bubba hit a nasty bodyslam on JTG.
Next up was Fit Finley taking on the Big Show. In 8 ½ minutes, Big Show tosses Finley out of the ring and Finley is unable to make it back into the ring. Big Show gets the win via countout.
Out next comes our guest host wrestlers Michael Hayes and Kevin Von Erich. They called down the Negronomicon for the next match. Negronomicon came out and said that there was no way he was going to wrestle in a handicap match. “I’ll tell you old fogies something…one of you can get your ass kicked here tonight. I don’t care which. Flip a coin.” So they did and the winning flip goes to Michael PS Hayes. Hayes starts off with his funky strut and N bitch slaps him. Hayes locks in a grinding headlock which N reverses and hits a flying elbow. Michael then hits a boot to the gut of N. A big bodyslam from Hayes and N is screaming in pain (ala old school Eddie Gilbert). N tosses Hayes out of the ring but Kevin helps him back in and Hayes hits the Hot’lanta suplex and goes for a pin but N kicks out at 2. N hits a flying elbow. Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 2.5
Hello fans. We have more updates to pass along so let’s get started.
HWF News:
In his first title defense, the Kraken took on Bubba Ray Dudley with the North American title on the line. The champ showed some great resilience here in keeping up with a guy twice his size. In 8 ½ minutes, the Kraken retains the belt with a count out win over Bubba.
Next up is Santino defending his X-division title against Stevie Richards. In 12 minutes, Santino gets the win over Stevie after Richards was unable to make it back in the ring before being counted out.
Santino stayed in the ring and called back down the Kraken demanding his North American title shot. In 14 minutes, the Kraken is successful in defending his championship after pinning Santino with a piledriver.
Next up is the Undertaker taking on “The Original Big Daddy” Donnie B for the Intercontinental title. The Undertaker retained the title but not without outside interference from Randy Orton. At the 7 minute mark, Randy came down and knocked Donnie B out with a steel chair shot to the head. Undertaker then followed it up with the Last Ride.
Randy Orton says he deserves a shot at the Undertaker but he is not in the top 10. Orton says that he then will challenge The Great Khali for his shot. Khali comes down and the match begins. In 16 minutes, Randy, with some trunk pulling, gets the pin over the oversized opponent. Randy is now in line for a title shot.
Christian then came out and said he was treating the fans here to a match for the title. He said that his opponent is none other than the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe. It didn’t take long – 2 minutes actually – for the Undisputed Champion to get himself counted out.
CSWA news:
Mr. Kennedy was first to start off the CSWA show. He was defending the title against MW3. In 13 minutes, Kennedy gets the win by countout after MW3 was unable to beat the 10 count.
Ted Dibiasi was up next defending the TV title against John Morrison. In 6 minutes and with the help of his dad’s loaded glove, Ted gets the win and retains the TV title.
The US title is on the line next with the undefeated Bobby Lashley taking on Rey Mysterio. The match went 18 minutes and in what seems to be a running theme, Bobby wins the match via countout.
Booker T had regained the World title and now had to take on DX’s Shawn Michaels. Shawn controlled the match and set the pace. Booker just couldn’t keep up so he did what he had to in order to protect his title – he got himself counted out. Michaels gets a win and is told he will get a future title shot.
Day 2 results:
It was announced at this show that the next PPV, Night of Champions in Oakland, CA would be held live on February 14th.
In the HWF, Kurt Angle challenged Carlito for his shot at the world title. In 4 minutes, Kurt gets Carlito to tap out to an ankle lock. Kurt was in the ring celebrating when out came AJ Styles. AJ had a mic. He thanked Kurt for giving him the world title shot. Angle yelled back that he is done and will no longer give title shots to AJ. Styles reminded him that until mid march, any title shot Angle gets immediately goes to AJ. That is the contract Kurt signed. Now, AJ says that he will put this match on the line as well as all future title shots (that he would win from Angle) and would let Angle out of his contract if they wanted to have one more match. But here is the stickler: If Angle loses, he tacks on another month of payback. Angle jumped at the chance to get out of this. Regal came out and said that with all this riding on a match, it needs to be a good one. Up next is Angle vs. Styles in a dog collar match.
In 19 minutes, after beating each other senseless with the dog collar chain, Kurt Angle weasels out of his contract after he nailed an Angle Slam on the chain. Kurt is now in line for a title shot and no longer owes AJ any more matches.
AJ wanted some consolation so he called out Santino for his X-division title shot. In 18 minutes, AJ locks in a reverse STF and turns it into a pin to become the NEW X-Division champion.
The Kraken came out next to defend the North American title against the Undisputed Champion Samoa Joe. In 19 minutes, the Kraken was not able to keep up with the sheer bulk of Joe and dropped the NA title to him. Samoa Joe is now the New North American Champion.
Randy Orton came out next and called down the Undertaker. Undertaker, never one to just go with the flow, pinned Randy in 13 minutes after a devastating tombstone piledriver.
Christian vs. Kurt Angle was the last match of the HWF card. It only took 4 minutes (and outside distractions from AJ Styles) to allow Christian to get the win over Kurt and retain the World title.
CSWA news
Over in the CSWA, the Kraken, sore from losing the HWF NA title, he challenged the Super Warrior to a match for his spot at the Cruiserweight title. In 14 minutes, the Kraken gets the win via countout over the Super Warrior. He now assumes the next title shot. He immediately calls down Mr. Kennedy and demands his title shot. Mr. Kennedy gets the win and retains his title in 13 minutes.
Bobby Lashley came out to defend the US title against the Kraken. In 2 minutes, the Kraken gets counted out. Bobby is going to the ppv still undefeated.
In a PPV qualifying match, MW3 took on Edge. The winner of the match gets a shot at US Champion Bobby Lashley. Edge beats MW3 with a one-man concerto. Edge will get a shot at Lashley at the PPV.
Next up is TV champ Ted Dibiasi taking on John Cena. In 14 minutes, Cena gets the win with a side suplex and becomes the NEW CSWA TV champ. Ted demands a rematch but John tells him he needs to wait till the PPV and then to try and take it back if he can.
At the PPV, Mr. Kennedy will be defending the Cruiserweight championship against the Super Warrior.
Booker T was up next defending the World title against Matt Hardy. In 17 minutes, Booker T is successful in retaining the world title after delivering a diving headbutt.
In a qualifying match, Chris Jericho defeats Rey Mysterio in 2 minutes via Countout to retain his title shot and goes to meet Booker T at the PPV.
In an HWF PPV qualifying match, Big Show took on Randy Orton. In 12 minutes, Randy gets the win with an RKO and will go on to meet the Undertaker at the PPV for the IC title.
In another qualifying match, the Kraken challenged Mick Foley to see who would be going to the PPV to meet Samoa Joe for the North American title. With a swift kick to the groin, Mick gets the win and receives the title shot at the ppv.
Still sore from the previous loses, the Kraken challenges Donnie B for his title shot at the X-Division title. At the 30 minute mark, after being beaten from pillar to post, the Kraken manages to sneak out a win via countout over Donnie B. The Kraken is now going to the PPV.

But here is the stickler: If Angle loses, he tacks on another month of payback. Angle jumped at the chance to get out of this. Regal came out and said that with all this riding on a match, it needs to be a good one. Up next is Angle vs. Styles in a dog collar match.
In 19 minutes, after beating each other senseless with the dog collar chain, Kurt Angle weasels out of his contract after he nailed an Angle Slam on the chain. Kurt is now in line for a title shot and no longer owes AJ any more matches.
AJ wanted some consolation so he called out Santino for his X-division title shot. In 18 minutes, AJ locks in a reverse STF and turns it into a pin to become the NEW X-Division champion.
The Kraken came out next to defend the North American title against the Undisputed Champion Samoa Joe. In 19 minutes, the Kraken was not able to keep up with the sheer bulk of Joe and dropped the NA title to him. Samoa Joe is now the New North American Champion.
Randy Orton came out next and called down the Undertaker. Undertaker, never one to just go with the flow, pinned Randy in 13 minutes after a devastating tombstone piledriver.
Christian vs. Kurt Angle was the last match of the HWF card. It only took 4 minutes (and outside distractions from AJ Styles) to allow Christian to get the win over Kurt and retain the World title.
CSWA news
Over in the CSWA, the Kraken, sore from losing the HWF NA title, he challenged the Super Warrior to a match for his spot at the Cruiserweight title. In 14 minutes, the Kraken gets the win via countout over the Super Warrior. He now assumes the next title shot. He immediately calls down Mr. Kennedy and demands his title shot. Mr. Kennedy gets the win and retains his title in 13 minutes.
Bobby Lashley came out to defend the US title against the Kraken. In 2 minutes, the Kraken gets counted out. Bobby is going to the ppv still undefeated.
In a PPV qualifying match, MW3 took on Edge. The winner of the match gets a shot at US Champion Bobby Lashley. Edge beats MW3 with a one-man concerto. Edge will get a shot at Lashley at the PPV.
Next up is TV champ Ted Dibiasi taking on John Cena. In 14 minutes, Cena gets the win with a side suplex and becomes the NEW CSWA TV champ. Ted demands a rematch but John tells him he needs to wait till the PPV and then to try and take it back if he can.
At the PPV, Mr. Kennedy will be defending the Cruiserweight championship against the Super Warrior.
Booker T was up next defending the World title against Matt Hardy. In 17 minutes, Booker T is successful in retaining the world title after delivering a diving headbutt.
In a qualifying match, Chris Jericho defeats Rey Mysterio in 2 minutes via Countout to retain his title shot and goes to meet Booker T at the PPV.
In an HWF PPV qualifying match, Big Show took on Randy Orton. In 12 minutes, Randy gets the win with an RKO and will go on to meet the Undertaker at the PPV for the IC title.
In another qualifying match, the Kraken challenged Mick Foley to see who would be going to the PPV to meet Samoa Joe for the North American title. With a swift kick to the groin, Mick gets the win and receives the title shot at the ppv.
Still sore from the previous loses, the Kraken challenges Donnie B for his title shot at the X-Division title. At the 30 minute mark, after being beaten from pillar to post, the Kraken manages to sneak out a win via countout over Donnie B. The Kraken is now going to the PPV.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 2.4
Hello, we are back with more HWF news. Randy Orton came out and challenged AJ Styles for his world title spot. AJ accepted. In 23 minutes, AJ retained his spot by defeating Randy Orton with a Styles Clash.
Donnie B was up next for his North American title shot against Mick Foley. Foley begins with a kick to the groin but DB hits a flying dropkick. DB hits another dropkick but then is tossed out of the ring. He makes it back in by 4. Foley hits DB with a chair but DB tosses Mick outside the ring. Mick is back in at 4. Another groin kick from Foley is met with a DDT from DB. It’s Donnie B’s turn to hit Mick with a chair but is then tossed out of the ring. He easily makes it back in. Foley then gets in some offense until Donnie B hits a Lights Out Brainbuster. DB makes the cover and somehow gets the 1-2-3. Donnie B is the NEW NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION!!!! Let the celebration begin!!!!
Next up is the Undertaker taking on Christopher Daniels. In 7 minutes, Undertaker gets the win when Chris Daniels is counted out of the ring.
AJ Styles is up next finally getting his shot at the World Title. In 15 minutes, AJ gets the win but it is by countout. Randy Orton ended up coming down and hitting an RKO on the champ. After the bell rang, Orton hit the ring and RKO’d Styles. He grabbed the title and held it over his head. He said that the next time you see him after a match, it will be him posing with the World title he’d won.
In the back, Christian attacked Randy and brawled throughout the corridors until they made it out to the ring. Regal came out and told them to cease immediately. Randy was going to have to wrestle now if he wanted his title shot. Randy attacked Christian before he could stand and the bell rang.
Christian started off with a One Man concerto and Randy hit a flying dropkick. Orton is then tossed out of the ring but gets back in at 4. Christian tosses him outside again but he sneaks back in behind Christian and hits an RKO. Randy makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3. Randy Orton has just regained the World Heavyweight title. Of course, Christian is the longest reigning champion and immediately demands his rematch. Before Orton could decline, Regal came out and made it official – this time in a steel cage.
The rematch went 14 minutes and both men got bloodied early on. Both men hit their signature moves but just couldn’t get the pin. At the 14 minute mark, Christian hit the Unprettier and got the pin but then had to escape the cage. Christian went over the top but then got tied up as he tried to go over. Orton went to the door and as he got the door opened, Donnie B comes out of nowhere and slams the door in his face. Randy goes flying back into the cage. Christian frees himself and drops to the floor. Christian has regained the World title. Orton is livid.
Donnie B remains down at the ring as his opponent comes down. It is none other than The Kraken. Kraken locks in a sleeperhold early but DB makes it to the ropes. Donnie B hits a DDT and the Kraken goes down. Kraken hits a kick to the groin but DB hits the Lights Out Brainbuster. Kraken kicks out at 2. Donnie B hits Kraken with a chair but Kraken locks in the Kraken Crush but DB makes it to the ropes. Both men battle back and forth with no one really getting an advantage. The Kraken then tosses DB out of the ring and while the ref is admonishing him, Orton jumps in from the crowd and clips DB’s leg. He then hits it with a chair. He tosses DB back in the ring. The Kraken locks in a figure four leglock and in the midst of howling in pain, he taps out. The Kraken has just won the North American Championship.
We also then have the World tag team titles on the line with the Dudleys defending the belts against Chris Jericho and Edge. This bout went 28 minutes with the challengers really taking it to the champs. Both teams went for numerous pin attempts but their partners always made the save. In the final minutes of the match, Edge is double teamed for 3 minutes straight but somehow he made the tag. Edge then fell off the ring unable to stand. The Dudley’s then executed the “Whassaaaapppp?” headbutt and pinned Chris to retain the tag team titles.
