Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter!

The cameras sweep across a sold-out arena as thousands of HCW fans are on their feet, signs waving high above their heads while pyrotechnics erupt across the Voltage stage. The crowd roars as the familiar Voltage theme echoes throughout the building before the broadcast settles in at ringside.

Sam Duffy:

"Good evening, everyone, and welcome to HCW Voltage! I'm Sam Duffy alongside Rick Granger, and we're officially one week into the march toward Reign of Champions!"

Rick Granger:

"The pressure is on now, Sam. Every match matters, every victory matters, and every mistake could cost someone the biggest opportunity of their career."

Sam Duffy:

"We've got a tremendous night ahead. Harrison Marks opens the show against the always-unpredictable Cara Loco. Later tonight, Zack Brown steps into the ring with one of HCW's fastest-rising newcomers, Dex Ledger."

Rick Granger:

"I'll tell you right now, Dex Ledger doesn't care that Zack Brown is a former World Champion. The kid thinks he's already the next big thing, and honestly, I love that attitude."

Sam Duffy:

"We'll also see Tumu Vaega of the Samoan Bloodline in singles action against Koa Mauler, while Aurora Storm squares off with Veronica Flame in a match that could have major implications for the World Ladies Championship picture."

Rick Granger:

"Aurora better not spend too much time looking ahead to Luciana Albano. Veronica Flame is more than capable of ruining anybody's plans."

Sam Duffy:

"And in our main event, the eerie and dangerous Null Order continues its march through HCW as Ambrose Chapel and Dorian Vire, accompanied by Lazarus Blackstar, battle the Freedom Fighters."

Rick Granger:

"Lazarus has built exactly what he promised—a united force. Every week they look more dangerous, and I don't think we've seen anywhere close to their ceiling."

Sam Duffy:

"We'll find out what the future holds beginning right now. Let's send it to Tony 'Echo' Calibur for tonight's opening contest!"

Rick Granger:

"Then let's quit talking and ring the bell."

The camera returns to the ring where Tony "Echo" Calibur stands at center ring, microphone in hand.

Tony "Echo" Calibur:

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall!"

"For Whom the Bell Tolls" begins to thunder through the arena speakers.

The crowd immediately erupts into a chorus of boos as Harrison Marks steps onto the Voltage stage. Wearing his trademark smug grin, Marks slowly surveys the audience as though the reaction is beneath him. Dressed in an expensive black robe trimmed with silver, he deliberately takes his time before beginning the walk to the ring, soaking in every ounce of hostility.

Sam Duffy:

"Harrison Marks has all the physical tools in the world, but somewhere along the way he became convinced the world owes him something."

Rick Granger:

"You say that like it's a bad thing. Harrison knows exactly how talented he is. If these people don't appreciate greatness, that's their problem—not his."

Marks reaches ringside, climbs the steel steps, and wipes his boots on the apron before entering between the ropes. He removes his robe, hands it to the ringside attendant without so much as a glance, and confidently paces his corner while waiting for his opponent.

Tony Calibur raises the microphone once more.

Tony "Echo" Calibur:

"And his opponent..."

A lively Latin rock beat fills the arena as colorful lights dance across the Voltage stage.

The mood inside the building changes instantly as Cara Loco bursts through the curtain, throwing both arms into the air to a warm ovation from the fans. A grin stretches across his face as he points toward different sections of the crowd before jogging from one side of the stage to the other, feeding off the audience's energy.

Sam Duffy:

"You never quite know what Cara Loco is going to do next, but one thing is certain—he loves entertaining these fans."

Rick Granger:

"Or maybe he ought to spend less time entertaining them and more time winning matches. Flashy entrances don't get your hand raised."

Cara slaps hands with fans lining the entrance ramp before breaking into a sprint toward the ring. Sliding feet-first under the bottom rope, he pops to his feet in one smooth motion and climbs the nearest turnbuckle, saluting the crowd once more as they cheer loudly.

Dropping back to the canvas, Cara stretches in his corner while Harrison Marks rolls his eyes in disgust from across the ring.

Sam Duffy:

"Two very different personalities, two very different approaches to this business."

Rick Granger:

"Only one thing matters once that bell rings, Sam—and Harrison Marks knows it."

Referee checks both competitors, looks toward the timekeeper, and signals for the opening bell.

Harrison Marks wasted no time trying to impose his methodical style, but Cara Loco answered every opening exchange with his trademark athleticism. Cara stunned Marks early with an inverted DDT before Harrison quickly reminded everyone why he remains one of HCW's most dangerous competitors, leveling Cara with a crushing Bull Hammer that immediately swung the momentum.

Sam Duffy:
"Harrison Marks came ready tonight. He's not giving Cara Loco any room to build momentum."

Rick Granger:
"That's called having a game plan, Sam. Harrison isn't here to entertain these people. He's here to win."

As the match settled in, Harrison repeatedly slowed the pace with punishing backbreakers, European uppercuts, and grinding holds, forcing Cara to fight from underneath. Whenever Cara began stringing together offense with his explosive running crossbodies and double underhook DDTs, Harrison had an answer.

One of those answers came in the form of pure frustration.

Marks hurled Cara completely out of the ring, forcing referee "Honest" Abe to begin his count.

Sam Duffy:
"Harrison is more interested in wearing Cara Loco down than putting on a clinic."

Rick Granger:
"Smart wrestling. If Cara wants to fly around, throw him onto the floor and make him earn his way back."

Cara barely beat the official's eight-count before sliding back into the ring, only for Harrison to remain firmly in control.

Later, Harrison once again countered a charging Cara, tossing him outside a second time. This time the count reached nine before Cara desperately rolled beneath the bottom rope.

Sam Duffy:
"Cara Loco is surviving by the narrowest of margins!"

Rick Granger:
"And that's exactly where Harrison wants him—tired, frustrated, and one mistake away from losing."

Despite absorbing tremendous punishment, Cara refused to stay down.  A perfectly executed Sister Abigail finally rocked Harrison, igniting the Columbia Coliseum crowd as Cara began mounting a comeback. Running basement big boots repeatedly caught Harrison flush, and the momentum slowly began shifting away from the arrogant veteran.  Still, Harrison continued to find answers.  A devastating backbreaker nearly finished the contest midway through the match.

Sam Duffy:
"This could do it!"

Rick Granger:
"Hook the leg!"

One...

Two...

Cara Loco kicked out.

The resilience frustrated Harrison, who continued attacking Cara's lower back while searching for the decisive opening.

Later, Cara trapped Harrison in a Mandible Claw, wrenching back with everything he had as the crowd roared in anticipation.

Sam Duffy:
"Cara's got it locked in! Harrison may have nowhere to go!"

Rick Granger:
"Don't you dare tap, Harrison!"

Marks refused to surrender, surviving the submission before once again slowing the pace with another European uppercut and yet another near fall.

As the twenty-minute mark approached, both competitors were visibly exhausted.

Cara connected with another basement big boot that staggered Harrison before the two men traded devastating blows in the center of the ring. Harrison answered a Sister Abigail attempt with a thunderous powerbomb, but the punishment had taken its toll on both wrestlers.

Moments later, Cara found one final opening.

Harrison stumbled into position.

Cara hooked him...

Sister Abigail!

The arena erupted.

Sam Duffy:
"He got all of it!"

Rick Granger:
"No! Kick out!"

One...

Two...

Three!

Tony "Echo" Calibur:
"Here is your winner... Cara Loco!"

Sam Duffy:
"What a tremendous victory for Cara Loco! Harrison Marks threw everything he had at him for over twenty minutes, but Cara refused to quit."

Rick Granger:
"Harrison controlled most of that match. One mistake... one opening... and Cara Loco stole it. Harrison's going to be furious."

Cara Loco climbed the turnbuckles, saluting the cheering fans as Harrison Marks sat against the ropes in disbelief, glaring at the referee before staring a hole through his victorious opponent.

Cara Loco remained atop the turnbuckle for a few more moments, applauding the fans as they rewarded his gutsy performance with a standing ovation.

Across the ring, Harrison Marks pounded the canvas in frustration before rising to one knee. He glared toward referee "Honest" Abe, insisting the count had been too quick, but the official simply pointed toward the timekeeper's area, signaling that the decision stood.

Sam Duffy:
"That's a huge victory for Cara Loco to start the night."

Rick Granger:
"Huge? Harrison Marks dominated long stretches of that match. Cara Loco capitalized on one mistake. That's all it was."

Still arguing with the official, Harrison finally exited the ring, brushing aside a camera operator before storming up the entrance ramp without another look back.

Meanwhile, Cara Loco made one final lap around ringside, exchanging high-fives with the fans before disappearing behind the curtain.

The camera returned to the commentary desk.

Sam Duffy:
"What an incredible opening contest. If the rest of tonight is anything like that, we're in for something special."

Rick Granger:
"I'll say this much—Harrison Marks better put this one behind him quickly. Reign of Champions is getting closer every week, and moral victories don't earn championship opportunities."

Sam Duffy:
"Well, coming up next, we'll hear from a team with championship aspirations of their own. Larry Morton is standing by backstage with Steel Justice."

The broadcast cuts backstage to the HCW interview set.

Standing beneath a large HCW Voltage monitor is Larry Morton, microphone in hand. Beside him stand Alex "Skyhawk" Justice and Kellyn "Raven Archer" Chrisari—collectively known as Steel Justice. Both men receive a warm ovation from the live crowd watching on the arena screens.

Larry Morton:
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guests at this time... Steel Justice."

The crowd cheers once again.

Larry Morton:
"Gentlemen, several weeks ago you earned a guaranteed Heritage Tag Team Championship opportunity. Everyone has been wondering when you intended to cash it in. Have you reached a decision?"

Alex Justice smiles before taking the microphone.

Alex "Skyhawk" Justice:
"We have."

Another cheer rolls through the arena.

Alex "Skyhawk" Justice:
"Kellyn and I have spent the last few weeks watching the Heritage Tag Team division. We've seen champions come and go, contenders step up, and one thing has become crystal clear."

He pauses.

Alex "Skyhawk" Justice:
"The Iron Syndicate may hold those championships..."

"...but they don't own this division."

The fans erupt.

Kellyn nods in agreement before speaking.

Kellyn "Raven Archer" Chrisari:
"We didn't earn this opportunity to let it collect dust."

"We earned it because we believe we're the best tag team in Heritage Championship Wrestling."

Alex grins.

Alex "Skyhawk" Justice:
"So here's the official announcement."

He looks directly into the camera.

Alex "Skyhawk" Justice:
"Iosef Koloff... Krueger Kruschev..."

"...this Wednesday on HCW Shockwave..."

"...Steel Justice is cashing in our guaranteed championship opportunity."

The crowd roars.

Alex "Skyhawk" Justice:
"We're coming for the Heritage Tag Team Championships."

Kellyn steps forward.

Kellyn "Raven Archer" Chrisari:
"And when that match is over, the only thing stronger than steel..."

"...will be the bond between two men who never stopped believing they'd reach the top together."

Larry smiles as the audience continues cheering.

Larry Morton:
"Steel Justice has made it official! Next Wednesday on HCW Shockwave, they'll challenge the Iron Syndicate for the Heritage Tag Team Championship."

The camera fades back toward ringside as the fans buzz over the championship announcement.

The camera returns to the commentary desk as the crowd continues buzzing over Steel Justice's announcement.

Sam Duffy:
"Well, there you have it. It's official. Next Wednesday on Shockwave, the Heritage Tag Team Championships will be on the line as Steel Justice cashes in their guaranteed title opportunity against the Iron Syndicate."

Rick Granger:
"I'll give them credit—they've got guts. But guts don't win championships. The Iron Syndicate has spent months dismantling every team put in front of them. Steel Justice better be prepared for a fight unlike anything they've experienced."

Sam Duffy:
"Alex Justice and Kellyn Chrisari have been waiting for this opportunity, and now the countdown begins. We'll see if they can finally bring those championships home."

Rick Granger:
"Or we'll find out why the Iron Syndicate has been carrying those titles for so long."

The camera shifts to the ring where Tony "Echo" Calibur stands ready.

Tony "Echo" Calibur:
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall!"

An upbeat rock anthem blasts through the arena as Jet Moreno steps onto the Voltage stage to a warm ovation.

Jet points toward the crowd before jogging down the entrance ramp, slapping hands with fans on both sides. His enthusiasm is contagious as he circles ringside, taking a moment to acknowledge a young fan wearing a homemade Jet Moreno T-shirt before sliding into the ring.

Sam Duffy:
"Jet Moreno has become one of the most popular competitors on the Voltage roster. Every opportunity he gets, he leaves everything he has in the ring."

Rick Granger:
"He's popular because he spends half his entrance shaking hands instead of focusing on the match. Nice guy... questionable strategy."

Jet climbs the second turnbuckle and throws both arms into the air as the fans respond with another cheer before dropping into his corner.

The arena lights dim.

A slow, confident instrumental begins playing as Ruth Heartless emerges onto the stage dressed in an elegant black business suit. She surveys the arena with complete indifference before glancing back toward the entrance.

A moment later, Evan Stockwell steps through the curtain wearing an expensive custom robe bearing the gold-and-black colors of the Million Dollar Alliance. He smirks at the negative reaction from the crowd before extending an arm toward Ruth, who simply nods as the two begin their deliberate walk to the ring.

Sam Duffy:
"Evan Stockwell has been under the guidance of Ruth Heartless for quite some time now, and together they've become an integral part of the Million Dollar Alliance."

Rick Granger:
"And it's been a profitable partnership. Ruth demands excellence, and Evan has embraced everything the Million Dollar Alliance stands for."

Sam Duffy:
"Ruth Heartless has built a reputation for putting her clients in positions to succeed. Her influence at ringside can never be overlooked."

Rick Granger:
"She doesn't micromanage. She identifies talent, develops it, and expects results. That's why people like Evan Stockwell continue to improve."

Evan slowly ascends the ring steps and steps between the ropes before removing his robe and handing it to Ruth. She calmly folds it over her arm, never taking her eyes off the ring.

Across the ring, Jet Moreno bounces lightly on the balls of his feet, eager for the opening bell as referee "Honest" Abe calls both competitors to the center for final instructions.

With one final check from the official, both men return to their corners, and the referee signals for the opening bell.

Jet Moreno came out of the gate looking to overwhelm Evan Stockwell with speed, but Evan immediately reminded everyone why he's become such a dangerous member of the Million Dollar Alliance.

The opening minutes belonged to Stockwell as he repeatedly cut Jet off with ruthless efficiency. A choke against the ropes left Jet gasping for air before Evan followed with a picture-perfect Dividend Dropkick and his devastating Liquidation Leg Sweep, forcing Jet onto the defensive.

Sam Duffy:
"Evan Stockwell has done an excellent job neutralizing Jet Moreno's speed early."

Rick Granger:
"That's because Evan isn't interested in having a track meet. He's dictating the pace, exactly like Ruth Heartless would expect."

Jet finally created an opening midway through the contest.

A spectacular standing 540 back flip senton caught Evan flush before Jet followed with a lightning-fast step-up enzuigiri that brought the crowd to its feet.

Sam Duffy:
"Now this is where Jet Moreno is at his best!"

Rick Granger:
"And this is where he gets reckless."

Jet hooked the leg.

One...

Evan powered out almost immediately.

Undeterred, Jet continued pressing the action with a superkick and another enzuigiri, refusing to allow Evan time to recover. Every time it looked like the momentum had completely shifted, however, Stockwell answered with another crushing strike or a well-placed slam into the turnbuckles.

Outside the ring, Ruth Heartless watched the action unfold without emotion.

Then, as referee "Honest" Abe momentarily found his attention diverted toward the competitors' positioning, Ruth quietly reached into her jacket.

A quick spray.

Jet staggered backward, clutching at his eyes.

The crowd erupted in boos.

Sam Duffy:
"Oh, come on! Ruth Heartless just sprayed something into Jet Moreno's face!"

Rick Granger:
"I didn't see a thing."

Sam Duffy:
"You weren't looking then!"

By the time Jet managed to clear his vision, Evan was waiting.

He drove Jet throat-first across the ropes before making another cover.

One...

Jet kicked out.

Sam Duffy:
"Jet Moreno is showing tremendous resilience, but that illegal tactic from Ruth Heartless may have changed this entire match."

Rick Granger:
"Illegal according to who? Honest Abe didn't see anything."

Jet struggled back to his feet, still visibly affected as Evan stalked him from behind.

Stockwell exploded forward...

"BULL" PRESS!

Jet crashed hard to the canvas.

Evan immediately hooked both legs.

One...

Two...

Three!

Tony "Echo" Calibur:
"Here is your winner... Evan Stockwell!"

As the bell rang, Ruth Heartless calmly stepped onto the apron, showing no hint of satisfaction as Evan had his hand raised.

Sam Duffy:
"Evan Stockwell gets the victory, but it's impossible to ignore the role Ruth Heartless played. Jet Moreno had built real momentum before that distraction."

Rick Granger:
"The record books won't mention hairspray, Sam. They'll simply say Evan Stockwell won the match—and that's all anyone remembers."

Evan smirked as Ruth handed him his robe. Together, the two members of the Million Dollar Alliance exited the ring without acknowledging the chorus of boos behind them, while Jet Moreno remained seated in the corner, blinking repeatedly as referee Honest Abe checked on him.

The broadcast cuts backstage to the HCW Voltage interview set where Larry Morton stands in front of the Voltage logo, microphone in hand.

Beside him is Zack "The Commando" Brown, already dressed for competition. His expression is calm and focused as the crowd inside the arena erupts into a loud ovation when his image appears on the Omegatron.

Larry Morton:
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time... Zack "The Commando" Brown

The applause continues.

Larry Morton:
"Zack, at Reign of Champions you'll once again meet Dominic Marconi for the HCW World Championship. This time, however, it won't be a traditional match. It'll be contested under Best Two Out of Three Falls rules."

Zack nods.

Zack "The Commando" Brown:

"You know, Larry... a lot of people have asked me what it's going to take to beat Dominic Marconi."

He pauses for a moment.

Zack "The Commando" Brown:

"My answer's always been the same."

"Everything."

The crowd applauds.

Zack "The Commando" Brown:
"Dominic isn't just the World Champion because he's talented."

"He's the World Champion because he refuses to stay down."

"You don't beat a man like Dominic Marconi with one great move."

"You beat him by proving you're the better man... over and over again."

Zack looks directly into the camera.

Zack "The Commando" Brown:
"And that's exactly what Best Two Out of Three Falls is designed to do."

"You can't steal two falls."

"You can't get lucky twice."

"You have to earn them."

The audience cheers.

Zack "The Commando" Brown:
"Dominic..."

"I've got nothing but respect for you."

"You've represented this championship with class, with honor, and with pride."

"But on August 30th..."

"...I'm walking into Reign of Champions with one goal."

"To prove that I belong at the very top of Heritage Championship Wrestling."

"And if I have to beat the best champion this company has..."

"...two times in one night..."

"...then that's exactly what I'm prepared to do."

The crowd erupts into applause.

Larry Morton:
"Strong words from Zack Brown, who has the opportunity of a lifetime coming at Reign of Champions."

"Zack, before you can challenge Dominic Marconi for the HCW World Championship at Reign of Champions, you've got a very talented opponent standing across the ring from you tonight in Dex Ledger. How do you approach a match like this when everyone knows what's waiting for you in just a few weeks?"

Zack nods thoughtfully before answering.

Zack "The Commando" Brown:
"That's a fair question, Larry."

"Dex Ledger has all the talent in the world. He's athletic, he's confident... maybe a little too confident."

A few cheers from the crowd.

Zack "The Commando" Brown:
"But here's the thing..."

"If I start looking past opponents, I don't deserve to be standing across the ring from Dominic Marconi."

"You earn a World Championship opportunity by taking care of business every single time you step into that ring."

"So tonight..."

"...my focus is Dex Ledger."

Zack pauses.

Zack "The Commando" Brown:
"That doesn't mean I'm not thinking about Reign of Champions."

"Of course I am."

"Dominic Marconi is the measuring stick in HCW. Every competitor wants the chance to test themselves against him."

"But if I don't beat Dex Ledger tonight..."

"...I haven't earned the right to keep talking about August 30th."

Larry nods.

Larry Morton:
"So you're saying your full attention is on tonight's match."

Zack "The Commando" Brown:
"Absolutely."

"But once this match is over..."

"...my attention turns right back to Dominic Marconi and the HCW World Championship."

Zack heads off camera and makes his way towards the curtain.

Larry Morton:
"A man driven for the need to succeed. Zack Brown vs Dominic Marconi…as long as he gets by Dex Ledger tonight.  Back to you at ringside. "

The camera returns to the commentary desk as Sam Duffy and Rick Granger prepare fans for the evening's featured singles contest.

Sam Duffy:
"Still to come tonight, we've got a tremendous main event featuring Null Order Expansion taking on the Freedom Fighters. But up next, a matchup that could have major implications as we inch closer to Reign of Champions."

Rick Granger:
"Dex Ledger has been making waves since arriving in HCW. Every time he steps into the ring, he looks more comfortable, more confident, and frankly, more dangerous."

Sam Duffy:
"That confidence is about to be put to the test against one of HCW's toughest competitors. Zack 'The Commando' Brown has his sights set on Dominic Marconi and the HCW World Championship at Reign of Champions, but he knows he can't afford to overlook Dex Ledger tonight."

Rick Granger:
"If Zack spends even one second thinking about Dominic Marconi instead of the man standing across the ring from him, he's going to have a very long night."

A polished, corporate-themed entrance theme fills the arena as Dex Ledger confidently strides onto the Voltage stage. Dressed in immaculate ring gear with subtle business-inspired styling, Ledger surveys the crowd with a smug grin, soaking in the chorus of boos as though it were applause.

He adjusts the cuffs on his entrance jacket before pointing toward himself with a self-assured smirk.

Sam Duffy:
"Dex Ledger carries himself like he's already at the top of the mountain."

Rick Granger:
"Confidence isn't a flaw, Sam. The kid believes he's the future of this company, and every victory backs up that claim."

Ledger walks deliberately down the aisle, ignoring the fans reaching toward him before climbing onto the apron. He wipes his boots on the edge of the ring canvas, steps through the ropes, and climbs the second turnbuckle, spreading his arms as if addressing a boardroom that already belongs to him.

His music fades.

The arena suddenly erupts as a military-style drum cadence echoes through the Coliseum.

Moments later, "The Commando" Zack Brown bursts through the curtain to one of the loudest ovations of the night.

Zack pauses on the stage, scanning the arena before pointing toward the ring with unmistakable determination.

Sam Duffy:
"Listen to this crowd! They know exactly what's at stake for Zack Brown."

Rick Granger:
"They love him now, but this isn't about popularity. If Zack wants to challenge Dominic Marconi, he needs to prove he can handle rising stars like Dex Ledger first."

Zack confidently marches down the entrance ramp, exchanging a few high-fives with fans along the barricade before circling the ring.

He climbs onto the apron, steps through the ropes, and heads straight to his corner without taking his eyes off Dex Ledger.

Across the ring, Ledger simply smiles, amused by the reception his opponent has received.

The referee calls both competitors to the center of the ring for final instructions before sending them back to their respective corners.

With both men ready, the official looks toward the timekeeper and signals for the opening bell.

A poster of two men

AI-generated content may be incorrect.

The opening bell had barely sounded before Dex Ledger stunned the crowd.

As Zack Brown stepped forward, Ledger caught him completely off guard, planting him with Total Market Domination, his devastating lifting DDT.

Sam Duffy:
"What a start by Dex Ledger!"

Rick Granger:
"I told you not to underestimate this guy."

Dex immediately stayed on the attack, refusing to allow Zack time to recover. Although Brown managed to fight off an attempted pendulum backbreaker, Ledger continued dictating the pace, frustrating the World Championship challenger.

The action soon spilled to the outside after Dex launched Zack over the top rope.

Referee "Honest" Abe immediately began the count.

One... Two... Three...

Zack finally rolled back into the ring at the count of seven.

Sam Duffy:
"That was close. Zack Brown cannot afford to let Dex control where this match is fought."

Rick Granger:
"Dex has done his homework. Keep Zack off balance, and suddenly the favorite starts making mistakes."

Back inside the ring, Zack finally found his footing.

A hard football tackle nearly cut Dex in half before "The Commando" followed with a thunderous powerbomb that brought the Columbia Coliseum crowd roaring to life.

Momentum had shifted.

Suddenly, the camera cuts toward the entrance stage.

Standing alone at the top of the ramp is Ruth Heartless.

Her expression is unreadable as she quietly watches the action unfold, making no attempt to come to ringside.

Sam Duffy:
"That's Ruth Heartless. We saw her earlier tonight helping Evan Stockwell steal a victory over Jet Moreno."

Rick Granger:
"She's one of the sharpest minds in this business, Sam. Maybe she's just scouting the competition."

Sam Duffy:
"Or maybe she's got something else in mind."

Then Zack connected with the Paratrooper Plunge, leaving Ledger reeling.

Sam Duffy:
"Now Zack Brown is rolling!"

Before Zack could capitalize, Ledger instinctively rolled out of the ring to escape further punishment.

"The Commando" wasn't about to let him recover and immediately gave chase.

The two exchanged heavy right hands on the arena floor before Dex suddenly retreated toward the ringside area.

At that same moment, Ruth Heartless calmly made her way down the entrance ramp.

Without saying a word, she reached into the pocket of her blazer and discreetly tossed a small object toward Dex.

Dex caught it in one motion.

A pair of steel handcuffs.

Sam Duffy:
"What did she just throw him?"

Rick Granger:
"I don't know... but whatever it is, Dex seems awfully happy to have it."

Rick Granger:
"What is he doing?"

Dex produced a pair of steel handcuffs.

Before Zack could react, Ledger swung one cuff around Zack's wrist and snapped the other around the steel ring post.

The crowd erupted in outrage.

Sam Duffy:
"No! You've got to be kidding me!"

Rick Granger:
"That's... actually brilliant."

Referee Honest Abe remained inside the ring, continuing his mandatory count as he demanded both competitors return.

One... Two... Three... Four...

Zack desperately struggled with the cuffs, trying to free himself as Dex calmly walked around to the opposite side of the ring, feigning innocence.

Five... Six... Seven... Eight... Nine...

Finally, Zack managed to yank himself free, leaving one cuff dangling from the ring post.

He sprinted toward the ring...

Ten!

The bell rang.

Tony "Echo" Calibur:
"Your winner... by count-out... Dex Ledger!"

The arena exploded with boos.

Sam Duffy:
"That is one of the most underhanded victories I have ever seen! Dex Ledger knew exactly what he was doing!"

Rick Granger:
"The rulebook doesn't say you have to like how you win, Sam."

Sam Duffy:
"It also doesn't say you can handcuff your opponent to the ring post!"

Rick Granger:
"Well... Honest Abe never saw it."

As the bell rang, Ruth Heartless simply turned and walked back up the entrance ramp without acknowledging Dex or the official.

Only after she disappeared behind the curtain did Dex begin backing up the aisle, wearing a smug grin and raising both arms in victory as the fans showered him with boos.

Dex simply smiled from the stage before disappearing through the curtain, having scored the biggest—and most controversial—victory of his HCW career.

Inside the ring, Zack Brown was furious. He retrieved the loose handcuff from ringside and held it up for referee Honest Abe to see, but the official could only shake his head.  Zack hurled the handcuff to the ground and stormed to the back.

Sam Duffy:
"I don't know what Ruth Heartless gains by involving herself in this match, but her presence absolutely changed the outcome."

Rick Granger:
"That's why she's one of the best strategists in HCW. She saw an opportunity... and Dex Ledger took full advantage of it."

Sam Duffy:
"Dex Ledger may have stolen this one tonight... but something tells me Zack Brown isn't going to forget it anytime soon."

Backstage

The camera cuts backstage moments later.

Dex Ledger is walking down the hallway with a cocky grin plastered across his face, still riding the high of the biggest victory of his HCW career.

As he rounds a corner, he finds "The Commando" Zack Brown waiting for him.

The crowd erupts.

Neither man says a word at first.

Dex chuckles.

"I know exactly what I did."

"I beat you."

The boos grow louder.

Zack Brown:
"You handcuffed me to a ring post."

Dex Ledger:
"And?"

"You still lost."

Dex slowly begins circling Zack.

Dex Ledger:
"Tell me something..."

"If I can beat a former World Champion..."

"...what exactly makes you so special?"

"What makes you deserve the World Championship match at Reign of Champions?"

He smirks.

Dex Ledger:
"Maybe Max McGillicutty gave the title shot to the wrong guy."

The crowd reacts loudly.

Zack's jaw tightens.

Zack Brown:
"You didn't beat me."

"You stole one."

Dex laughs.

Dex Ledger:
"The record books don't say that."

"They'll say..."

"'Dex Ledger defeated Zack Brown.'"

He leans in.

Dex Ledger:
"Maybe I should be the one facing Dominic Marconi."

That finally pushes Zack over the edge.

Zack grabs Dex by the front of his shirt and slams him against the nearby wall.

Officials and backstage personnel immediately rush into the frame.

Zack Brown:
"You want to prove it again?"

"You've got one more chance."

"But next time..."

"...there won't be anywhere to run."

Several officials pull Zack backward as Dex straightens his jacket, still wearing that infuriating smile.

Dex Ledger:
"There he is."

"I knew the hero would crack eventually."

Dex adjusts his collar.

Dex Ledger:
"I'll be seeing you, Commando."

Dex casually walks away while Zack has to be restrained by officials, still trying to get at him.

The camera lingers on Zack's furious expression before fading back to commercial.

Back to Voltage

The Columbia Coliseum crowd continued buzzing after the shocking confrontation between Zack Brown and Dex Ledger.

Sam Duffy:
"Rick, I don't think we've seen Zack Brown that angry in a very long time. Dex Ledger may have stolen a victory last week, but tonight he may have stolen something else... a little bit of Zack Brown's composure."

Rick Granger:
"I don't blame him one bit. Zack got embarrassed, and Dex made sure everyone knew about it. But if I'm Zack, I'd focus on Dominic Marconi. Reign of Champions is right around the corner."

Sam Duffy:
"Easier said than done, Rick. That issue between those two is far from settled."

The camera shifted back toward the entrance stage as Tony "Echo" Calibur stood in the center of the ring.

Tony "Echo" Calibur:
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall!"

The familiar sounds of Samoan drums echoed throughout the arena as Tumu Vaega, one-half of the reigning HCW World Tag Team Champions, stepped onto the Voltage stage. The powerhouse carried himself with quiet confidence as he made his way toward the ring, acknowledging the fans before climbing through the ropes.

Moments later, the atmosphere changed.

A heavier, more intimidating beat thundered through the arena as Koa Mauler emerged onto the stage. The imposing competitor stared directly at Tumu from the top of the ramp before beginning the long walk to the ring, never taking his eyes off his opponent.

With both men ready, referee Honest Abe called for the opening bell.

Before the opening bell, the crowd knew they were in for a collision of two Samoan powerhouses.

Koa Mauler wasted little time asserting himself, driving Tumu "The Island Beast" Vaega to the canvas with a crushing Vertical Suplex Toss. Tumu answered immediately, exploding back to his feet and planting Koa with the Island Quake, bringing the Columbia Coliseum crowd to its feet.

Sam Duffy:
"This is exactly what we expected! Two absolute powerhouses refusing to give an inch!"

Rick Granger:
"There's no feeling-out process here, Sam. They're trying to knock each other unconscious."

Koa gradually began dictating the pace. The massive competitor connected with the devastating Eye of the Storm before following with an impressive handspring moonsault that caught Tumu completely off guard. A stiff superkick moments later rocked the World Tag Team Champion and forced him onto the defensive.

Tumu refused to stay down.

A thunderous Spinning Solo Uranage shifted the momentum back toward "The Island Beast," and moments later he countered another superkick attempt into a crushing Super Samoan Splash.

Sam Duffy:
"What a counter! Tumu may have him!"

Rick Granger:
"Not enough! Koa's still in this!"

Honest Abe counted...

One...

Koa powered his shoulder off the mat.

The battle continued with both men trading heavy offense. Tumu repeatedly rocked Koa with Island Quakes, flying headbutts, and powerful strikes, while Koa answered with side slams, lift-and-drop variations, and devastating knife-edge chops that echoed throughout the arena.

Late in the contest, Tumu looked poised to finish things after yet another devastating Island Quake, but Koa somehow escaped another two-count.

Sam Duffy:
"I don't know what it's going to take to keep Koa Mauler down!"

Rick Granger:
"The man's a machine!"

Tumu continued pressing the advantage with a basement roundhouse kick, but the punishment had taken its toll.

As both men staggered back to their feet, Koa caught Tumu rushing forward.

One explosive Vertical Suplex Toss planted "The Island Beast" squarely in the center of the ring.

Honest Abe dropped into position.

One...

Two...

Three!

Tony "Echo" Calibur:
"Here is your winner... KOA MAULER!"

Koa slowly rose to his feet, breathing heavily before having his arm raised by Honest Abe.

Sam Duffy:
"What a huge victory for Koa Mauler! He just pinned one-half of the HCW World Tag Team Champions!"

Rick Granger:
"And don't forget, Sam—he already owns a victory over Raku. Tonight he adds Tumu Vaega to that list."

Koa wasn't finished.

As Honest Abe checked on Tumu, Koa suddenly drove a vicious stomp into the back of the fallen champion before dragging him to his feet and flooring him with another Eye of the Storm.

The crowd erupted with boos.

Koa stood over Tumu, spreading his arms wide.

Koa Mauler:
"First I beat Raku..."

He pointed down at Tumu.

Koa Mauler:
"...and now I've beaten you."

He pounded his chest.

Koa Mauler:
"I've conquered the Samoan Bloodline!"

Koa raised both arms triumphantly—

—but the celebration was cut short as Raku "Samoan Stomper" Vaega stormed down the aisle to a huge ovation.

Raku slid into the ring, and Koa immediately backed away, choosing discretion over another fight. The two Samoan heavyweights locked eyes as Koa slowly retreated up the entrance ramp, smiling confidently after his victory.

Inside the ring, Raku helped his brother back to his feet while Koa continued shouting from the stage.

Sam Duffy:
"Koa Mauler may have won the battle tonight, but this issue with the Samoan Bloodline is far from over."

Rick Granger:
"I think Koa just painted the biggest target imaginable on his back."

Larry Morton:
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time... Aurora Storm."

The crowd applauds as Aurora steps into frame, smiling warmly.

Larry Morton:
"Aurora, at Reign of Champions you'll challenge Luciana Albano for the HCW World Ladies Championship. This is the biggest opportunity of your career. How are you preparing?"

Aurora Storm:
"By staying focused."

"I've worked my entire career for an opportunity like this. Every match, every setback, every lesson has led me here."

"I'm not overlooking anyone, and I'm definitely not underestimating Luciana Albano."

Aurora nods confidently.

Aurora Storm:
"Luciana is a tremendous champion. She's smart, she's talented, and with Pierre in her corner, she's always dangerous."

"But championships aren't held forever."

"They're earned... and they're taken."

The crowd cheers.

Aurora Storm:
"At Reign of Champions, I'm going to step into that ring and give everything I have."

"If that's enough to become the next HCW World Ladies Champion..."

She smiles.

"...then it'll be the greatest night of my career."

"If it isn't..."

"I'll shake Luciana's hand, keep working, and earn another opportunity."

"But make no mistake..."

Aurora looks directly into the camera.

Aurora Storm:
"I'm coming to Reign of Champions to win."

Larry smiles.

Larry Morton:
"Aurora Storm, thank you for your time, and good luck at Reign of Champions."

Aurora thanks Larry before walking out of frame as the camera returns to ringside.

The arena lights dimmed as arrogant, orchestral music echoed throughout the Columbia Coliseum.

Veronica "The Heat" Flame stepped onto the Voltage stage with a smug grin, soaking in the chorus of boos from the HCW faithful. Dressed in her signature ring attire, Veronica exuded confidence, convinced that another victory would move her one step closer to championship contention.

A few steps behind her walked Julian Furnace impeccably dressed as always. The veteran manager casually applauded his client while exchanging smug looks with the fans lining the entranceway, making no effort to hide his disdain for the HCW Universe.

Sam Duffy:
"Veronica Flame has all the talent in the world, but having Julian Furnace in her corner always gives her an extra advantage."

Rick Granger:
"That's called smart business, Sam. Pierre doesn't leave anything to chance, and Veronica keeps proving she belongs among the elite of the women's division."

Veronica climbed through the ropes and confidently posed atop the second turnbuckle as Julian remained at ringside, offering a satisfied nod.

Moments later, the mood inside the Columbia Coliseum changed completely.

An energetic ovation filled the arena as Aurora Storm emerged onto the stage, smiling and waving to the fans. She slapped hands with members of the HCW Universe on her way down the aisle, feeding off their support before turning her attention toward the ring.

Sam Duffy:
"Listen to this crowd! Aurora Storm has earned every bit of this support."

Rick Granger:
"She'd better keep her emotions in check. The fans can't help her once that bell rings."

Aurora climbed into the ring and locked eyes with Veronica from across the canvas. Neither woman blinked as referee "Honest" Abe checked both competitors and called for the opening bell.

A poster of a person in sports clothing

Aurora Storm came out aggressively, determined to send a message before Reign of Champions. She immediately overwhelmed Veronica "The Heat" Flame with a series of impressive maneuvers, including an Alley Oop Facebuster, a stinging Hair Whip, and a punishing surfboard submission that had Veronica scrambling for the ropes.

Sam Duffy:
"Aurora is wrestling with tremendous confidence tonight! She knows a win over Veronica would build enormous momentum heading into her World Ladies Championship opportunity."

Rick Granger:
"Momentum is nice, Sam, but Veronica has Julian Furnace out there. One mistake is all it takes."

That mistake came moments later.

Aurora charged for her devastating Lightning Breaker, but as Honest Abe's attention shifted, Julian Furnace reached into the ring and raked Aurora across the eyes. The cheap shot gave Veronica enough time to recover and briefly swing the momentum in her favor.

The match settled into a back-and-forth battle, with both competitors trading impactful offense.

Veronica connected with a spinning kick, a diving crossbody, and a powerful running kneeling mat slam, while Aurora answered with delayed vertical suplexes, Alley Oop Facebusters, and another crushing Hair Whip.

Aurora nearly secured the victory with the Lightning Breaker, but Veronica cleverly reversed the pin into one of her own, leading to a frantic series of pin reversals that had the Columbia Coliseum crowd roaring.

Sam Duffy:
"What a sequence! Neither woman is willing to give an inch!"

Rick Granger:
"That's veteran instinct right there from Veronica."

Julian attempted to tip the scales once again later in the contest, this time striking Aurora with an old-fashioned cell phone while Honest Abe's view was obstructed. Veronica capitalized with a series of power moves, including a devastating powerbomb, bridging German suplexes, and repeated spinning toe holds that nearly stole the match.

But Aurora refused to stay down.

The challenger rallied with a pair of Alley Oop Facebusters before planting Veronica with The Eye of the Storm, earning a dramatic two-count.

The crowd rose to its feet as Aurora signaled for one final strike.

Veronica staggered toward the center of the ring...

LIGHTNING BREAKER!

The running knee connected flush.

Honest Abe dropped into position.

One...

Two...

Three!

Tony "Echo" Calibur:
"Here is your winner... AURORA STORM!"

The Columbia Coliseum erupted as Aurora had her hand raised in victory.

Sam Duffy:
"What a tremendous win! Aurora Storm just overcame not only Veronica Flame, but Julian Furnace as well!"

Rick Granger:
"I'll admit it—even with the interference, Aurora found a way."

As Honest Abe continued speaking with Aurora, Veronica suddenly snapped.

She jumped Aurora from behind, driving forearms into the back of the victorious challenger before stomping away at her near the ropes.

The crowd erupted in boos.

Julian Furnace applauded from ringside, shouting instructions as Veronica continued the assault.

But Aurora wasn't down for long.

She exploded back to her feet, blocked Veronica's next strike, and answered with a series of rights before grabbing Veronica by the arm and sending her sailing over the top rope to the arena floor.

The crowd roared its approval.

Julian quickly checked on Veronica as several HCW security officials rushed down the aisle. With Veronica still shouting insults toward the ring and trying to charge back inside, security stepped between the rivals and escorted both Veronica and Julian toward the backstage area.

Aurora stood in the center of the ring, never taking her eyes off her opponent as the fans cheered loudly.

Sam Duffy:
"Aurora Storm isn't backing down from anybody!"

Rick Granger:
"She may have won this battle, but if I'm Luciana Albano, I'm watching very closely. Aurora looks ready for the biggest match of her career."

Backstage

The camera cuts backstage to the private dressing room of HCW World Ladies Champion Luciana Albano.

The championship belt rests proudly over Luciana's shoulder as she stands with Pierre Boulay, both having just watched Aurora Storm's victory on a television monitor mounted on the wall.

Luciana and Pierre watch the monitor as Aurora celebrates with the fans.

Pierre slowly smirks.

Pierre Boulay:
"They adore her."

Luciana rolls her eyes.

Luciana Albano:
"Of course they do."

"They always fall in love with the next 'feel-good story.'"

Aurora continues celebrating on the monitor.

Luciana Albano:
"They cheer because they think she's different."

"They think she's destined."

Luciana scoffs.

Luciana Albano:
"They're wrong."

She taps the faceplate of the World Ladies Championship.

Luciana Albano:
"She's just the next woman standing in line."

Pierre smiles.

Pierre Boulay:
"And every woman who has stood in that line has learned the same lesson."

Luciana removes the championship from her shoulder and holds it in front of her.

Luciana Albano:
"I didn't become the HCW World Ladies Champion by believing fairy tales."

"I became champion because I'm better."

"Better than every challenger who's come before..."

She stares directly into the camera.

"...and better than Aurora Storm."

Pierre nods approvingly.

Pierre Boulay:
"At Reign of Champions, the dream ends."

Luciana smirks.

Luciana Albano:
"Enjoy this moment, Aurora."

"Because it's the closest you'll ever come to this championship."

Luciana drapes the title back over her shoulder and walks away as Pierre follows, both wearing satisfied smiles.

Sam Duffy:
"What a victory for Aurora Storm! She heads into Reign of Champions with plenty of momentum, but you have to wonder what Luciana Albano is thinking after watching that performance."

Rick Granger:
"I'll tell you exactly what she's thinking—Aurora's a threat. Whether Luciana admits it or not, she knows she's got her hands full."

Sam Duffy:
"Fans, it's time for our main event!"

The crowd erupted in anticipation as Tony "Echo" Calibur stood in the center of the ring.

The patriotic theme of the Freedom Fighters filled the Columbia Coliseum.

The fans immediately rose to their feet as Flash burst through the curtain, pointing toward the crowd before raising a fist high into the air. Moments later, Justice emerged behind him, nodding confidently as the two partners made their way to the ring together, slapping hands with fans along the aisle.

Sam Duffy:
"The Freedom Fighters have been one of the most resilient tag teams in HCW. They never back down from a challenge."

Rick Granger:
"They're going to need every ounce of that resilience tonight."

Flash and Justice climbed into the ring and acknowledged the fans one final time before turning their attention toward the entrance.

The arena lights abruptly faded.

An eerie silence settled over the Columbia Coliseum.

One by one...

The lights slowly returned.

A cold, haunting melody echoed through the arena as The Null Order Expansion appeared on the stage.

Ambrose Chapel stood motionless on one side.

Dorian Vire stood equally still on the other.

Between them...

Lazarus Blackstar.

His expression never changed.

He slowly surveyed the arena, almost studying the crowd rather than acknowledging it. The chorus of boos only seemed to reinforce his quiet confidence.

Without a word, Lazarus took a single step forward.

Ambrose and Dorian immediately followed.

The three men walked toward the ring in perfect unison, neither rushing nor reacting to the hostile atmosphere surrounding them.

Sam Duffy:
"Ever since Lazarus Blackstar formed the Null Order, this group has looked more dangerous every single week."

Rick Granger:
"They don't just win matches anymore, Sam. They recruit. They manipulate. They grow stronger."

Lazarus stopped at ringside.

Without looking away from the ring, he slowly extended one hand toward it.

Ambrose and Dorian ascended the ring steps simultaneously and entered through opposite sides of the ropes before taking their respective corners.

Lazarus remained outside the ring.

Hands clasped behind his back.

Watching.

Waiting.

Tony "Echo" Calibur stepped forward.

Tony "Echo" Calibur:
"The following contest is our main event and is scheduled for one fall!"

The crowd cheered.

Tony "Echo" Calibur:
"Introducing first... the team of Flash and Justice... THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS!"

Another ovation greeted the fan favorites.

Tony "Echo" Calibur:
"And their opponents... accompanied to the ring by Lazarus Blackstar... at a combined weight of 498 pounds... Ambrose Chapel and Dorian Vire... THE NULL ORDER EXPANSION!"

The four competitors moved to their corners as referee "Honest" Abe completed his final instructions and prepared to call for the opening bell.

A poster of two men

AI-generated content may be incorrect.

The bell rang, and the Null Order Expansion immediately demonstrated why they have become one of the most feared teams in Heritage Championship Wrestling. Ambrose Chapel and Dorian Vire wasted no time isolating Flash, using frequent tags and perfectly timed double-team attacks to keep the veteran from reaching his corner.

Dorian crushed Flash with the devastating Hard Desync, while Ambrose followed with a thunderous big boot before locking in the Owari Death Clutch Dragon Sleeper.

Sam Duffy:
"They're cutting the ring in half! Flash can't get any breathing room!"

Rick Granger:
"This is exactly what Lazarus Blackstar has taught them. Discipline. Precision. No wasted movement."

Flash finally created an opening with a lightning-fast running headscissors before making the tag to Justice. The fresh Freedom Fighter stormed into the ring, but Ambrose quickly halted the momentum with the devastating Broken Vow Butterfly DDT, earning the first near fall of the contest.

The Freedom Fighters answered with teamwork of their own.

Flash and Justice connected with a Tiger Driver and a Ram Head to Buckle combination, followed moments later by a spectacular Standing Shooting Star Press that nearly turned the tide.

Sam Duffy:
"Now that's the Freedom Fighters we've come to know!"

Rick Granger:
"They're exciting... but excitement doesn't always beat efficiency."

Ambrose weathered the storm and gradually regained control, repeatedly flooring Flash with crushing big boots while Dorian contributed devastating German suplexes, explosive power moves, and his suffocating Silence Kata Gatame submission whenever he entered the ring.

Flash refused to quit.

He continued battling back with high-risk offense, even scoring a dramatic near fall after dropping Ambrose with an over-the-shoulder neckbreaker.

The Columbia Coliseum came alive.

Sam Duffy:
"I thought he had him!"

Rick Granger:
"So did Flash."

As the match entered its final stretch, both teams traded increasingly desperate double-team maneuvers. Justice repeatedly fought to keep his partner alive, while Ambrose and Dorian answered with ruthless efficiency, wearing Flash down minute after minute.

Then...

Something changed.

Lazarus Blackstar slowly stepped closer to the apron.

He never raised his voice.

He simply looked toward Flash.

His lips moved just enough for Flash to hear.

No one else.

Flash's expression changed.

For the briefest moment, his focus disappeared.

Sam Duffy:
"What... what did Lazarus just say?"

Rick Granger:
"I don't know... but Flash heard it."

That single moment of hesitation proved costly.

Ambrose immediately capitalized, driving Flash into the canvas with the devastating Broken Vow.

One...

Two...

Justice exploded into the ring and broke up the pin just before the three-count, bringing the crowd to its feet.

The save only delayed the inevitable.

Flash staggered back to his feet, exhausted from nearly twenty-six minutes of punishment.

Ambrose caught him one final time.

AntiCross Octopus Hold.

Flash struggled...

Reached...

Tried desperately to escape...

But the damage had accumulated.

Honest Abe dropped into position.

One...

Two...

Three!

The bell rang.

Tony "Echo" Calibur:
"Here are your winners... THE NULL ORDER EXPANSION!"

Ambrose Chapel immediately released the hold as Dorian Vire stepped into the ring. Outside, Lazarus Blackstar simply closed his eyes for a brief moment before opening them again, a faint, almost imperceptible smile crossing his face as his disciples stood victorious.

The three members of the Null Order gathered in the ring.

Ambrose Chapel and Dorian Vire stood shoulder to shoulder as Lazarus Blackstar slowly stepped between them.

The boos from the Columbia Coliseum rained down.

Lazarus looked out over the audience without reacting.

His expression remained calm.

Almost peaceful.

A microphone was placed into his hand.

For several long moments...

He said nothing.

The silence became almost uncomfortable.

Finally...

Lazarus Blackstar:
"Every week..."

"...more voices fall silent."

He slowly looked from Ambrose...

...to Dorian.

Lazarus Blackstar:
"They resisted."

"They questioned."

"They fought."

"And now..."

A faint smile crossed his face.

"...they understand."

He turned toward the hard camera.

Lazarus Blackstar:
"The Samoan Bloodline."

Another pause.

Lazarus Blackstar:
"You call yourselves champions."

"You protect your family."

"You protect your legacy."

He slowly shook his head.

Lazarus Blackstar:
"You cannot protect..."

"...what has already begun to disappear."

Lazarus lowered the microphone.

Without another word, he turned and exited the ring.

Ambrose and Dorian followed in silence as the three disappeared up the entrance ramp together.

Sam Duffy:
"I don't know exactly what Lazarus means... but every time that man speaks, it's unsettling."

Rick Granger:
"He doesn't have to yell, Sam. His followers do the talking inside the ring, and tonight they just defeated a very accomplished tag team."

Sam Duffy:
"What a night we've had here on Voltage! Cara Loco knocked off Harrison Marks... Evan Stockwell picked up another victory with help from Ruth Heartless... Dex Ledger stole another one from Zack Brown, pushing that rivalry to another level... Koa Mauler defeated Tumu Vaega before provoking the Samoan Bloodline... Aurora Storm built tremendous momentum with a hard-fought victory over Veronica Flame... and in our main event, the Null Order Expansion proved once again why they're one of the most dangerous teams in Heritage Championship Wrestling."

Rick Granger:
"And if I'm the Samoan Bloodline, I'm taking Lazarus Blackstar very seriously."

Sam Duffy:
"For Rick Granger, I'm Sam Duffy saying thank you for joining us. We'll see you next time for another exciting edition of HCW Voltage! Good night, everyone!"

The final image showed the Null Order standing together at the top of the entrance stage.

Lazarus Blackstar never looked back.

The screen slowly faded to black.
