Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter! We are coming to you live from a sold-out Columbia Coliseum in Columbia, South Carolina, and tonight marks the beginning of the road to one of the biggest nights of the summer—Reign of Champions!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"What a week it's been already, Mike. We crowned a brand-new Convergent Champion last Sunday when Jack Lumber defeated Abaddon in NPCW. Tonight, Jack addresses the HCW Universe for the first time since that incredible victory."

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"We'll also witness the long-awaited return of Jax Brenner, the HCW debut of one of the most talked-about tag teams in recent memory—the Brothers Grimmstone—and our main event pits the World Tag Team Champions, the Samoan Bloodline, against one of the premier teams in HCW, Steel Justice, in a non-title showdown."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"And don't forget, Terrible Herse has been awfully quiet lately. That's usually when he's at his most dangerous. When Herse rolls in, somebody's night is about to end."

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"We've also learned that HCW General Manager Max McGillicutty has an announcement regarding the future of Proving Grounds, and we're told it involves a familiar face returning to Heritage Championship Wrestling."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"I've been curious about that one all week. Proving Grounds has already produced some tremendous talent, and if Max has plans to keep it going, that's good news for the future of HCW."

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"All of the HCW Championships will be defended in just a few weeks at Reign of Champions, rivalries continue to intensify, and the road officially begins tonight. Wrestling fans, we're glad you're with us."

Backstage

HCW Headquarters – General Manager's Office

The camera cuts backstage to the office of HCW General Manager Max McGillicutty. Max is seated behind his desk reviewing several folders when there's a knock at the open door.

Max McGillicutty:

"Come on in."

Stepping into the office is a man many longtime HCW fans immediately recognize.

Adam Jameson.

Dressed in a tailored charcoal suit with an HCW lapel pin, Adam carries a leather portfolio under one arm. He smiles as he extends his hand.

Max McGillicutty:

"Welcome home, Adam."

The two shake hands warmly.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"I'll tell you, Johnny, that's a sight longtime HCW fans never expected to see. Adam Jameson had quite a career inside an HCW ring, and now he's back wearing a very different hat."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"He knows this business from the inside out. If you're looking for someone who understands what it takes to make it here, Max picked the right guy."

Max McGillicutty:

"I appreciate you accepting the position."

Adam Jameson:

"I appreciate the opportunity."

Max gestures toward the chair opposite his desk, and Adam sits.

Max McGillicutty:

"Proving Grounds exceeded every expectation we had."

"We found new talent."

"We introduced fresh faces to the HCW audience."

"And more importantly, we proved there's another generation ready to earn their shot."

Adam nods in agreement.

Max McGillicutty:

"So here's the good news."

"Proving Grounds isn't finished."

"It's just getting started."

"I want to send you out on the road."

"I want you visiting independent promotions, training schools... anywhere you think the next HCW star might be."

Adam smiles slightly.

Adam Jameson:

"My job isn't to find wrestlers."

"My job is to find future HCW wrestlers."

Max smiles, having expected that answer.

Max McGillicutty:

"That's exactly why you're here."

"I trust your eye."

"I trust your judgment."

"And when you tell me someone's ready..."

"I'll listen."

Adam stands, picking up his portfolio.

Adam Jameson:

"I've already started making calls."

"There are a lot of talented people out there."

"But only a handful belong here."

Max McGillicutty:

"I'll be looking forward to your reports."

The two shake hands once more.

Adam Jameson:

"I'd better get on the road."

Adam exits the office, leaving Max smiling as he returns to the paperwork on his desk.

The camera fades back toward ringside as tonight's opening contest is set to begin.

The lights dim slightly as a slow, arrogant orchestral theme fills the Columbia Coliseum.

Pierre Boulay steps onto the stage first, impeccably dressed in one of his trademark tailored suits. He surveys the crowd with a smug grin before motioning toward the entrance.

Dirty Dick Albano emerges behind him, wearing a sneer that immediately draws a chorus of boos from the HCW faithful. Dick pauses at the top of the ramp, soaking in the hostility before slowly making his way toward the ring.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"And here comes one of the most despicable men on the HCW roster. Dirty Dick Albano, accompanied as always by Pierre Boulay."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"I'll give Pierre this much—he knows how to find talent. Unfortunately, he also seems to specialize in finding people nobody wants to root for."

Dick walks along the aisle jawing at fans on both sides of the barricade. As one fan leans forward holding out a sign, Dick suddenly raises his fist as if he's about to punch him. The fan recoils while security quickly steps closer. Dick laughs loudly before pointing into the crowd, threatening another group of fans who immediately shower him with even louder boos.

Pierre simply chuckles, adjusting his cuffs as though Dick's behavior is perfectly acceptable.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"That's exactly the kind of behavior we've come to expect from Dirty Dick Albano."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"He enjoys making people uncomfortable. If he can get under your skin before the bell even rings, he thinks he's already won half the battle."

Dick climbs onto the apron, wipes his boots exaggeratedly before entering the ring, then leans against the ropes while Pierre offers a few final words of encouragement from ringside.

The arena suddenly comes alive as an energetic Latin-inspired rock anthem blasts through the speakers.

The boos instantly give way to cheers.

Rafael "Rafa" Sandoval bursts onto the stage, smiling broadly as he raises both arms high above his head. He points toward the crowd before pounding his chest and beginning his walk to the ring.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"And listen to this ovation! Rafa Sandoval has become one of the most popular young stars in HCW."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"He's impossible not to like, Mike. He competes with heart, he respects this business, and every time he steps between those ropes, you know you're getting everything he's got."

Rafa slaps hands with fans lining both sides of the entrance aisle, taking a moment to greet several young fans before jogging the remainder of the way toward the ring.

As he reaches ringside, Rafa points toward Pierre and then locks eyes with Dirty Dick. Dick responds with a dismissive wave, but Rafa simply smiles back, refusing to be baited.

Rafa slides smoothly under the bottom rope, pops to his feet, and climbs the nearest turnbuckle, raising both fists as the Columbia Coliseum responds with another loud ovation.

Dropping back to the canvas, Rafa never takes his eyes off Dirty Dick as the opening contest is moments away.

The opening bell sounds, and Rafa immediately meets Dirty Dick in the center of the ring.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Rafa wasting absolutely no time here!"

Dick swings wildly, but Rafa ducks underneath and fires back with a sharp forearm that rocks his opponent. Dick stumbles backward toward the ropes where Pierre immediately reaches in, grabbing his client's arm to steady him.

As Dick turns back toward the center of the ring, Rafa explodes forward.

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"Here comes Rafa!"

Rafa spins through the air and connects flush with a devastating Rolling Elbow that sends Dirty Dick sprawling onto the canvas.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"What a shot! Rafa caught him perfectly!"

Pierre slaps the apron in frustration while shouting instructions to his client.

Dirty Dick slowly pulls himself up using the ropes, glaring at Rafa with anger instead of confidence.

As Rafa advances to continue the attack, Pierre suddenly reaches through the ropes and grabs hold of Rafa's leg.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Come on! Pierre's got him!"

The brief distraction allows Dirty Dick to regain his footing, but Pierre isn't finished. The manager steps onto the apron and blatantly reaches into the ring again, grabbing Rafa from behind.

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"Oh, that's enough! He's not even trying to hide it!"

Referee "Honest" Abe immediately turns toward Pierre.

"Honest" Abe:

"That's it! Ring the bell!"

The official emphatically points toward the entranceway.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Pierre Boulay has gone too far!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"There wasn't even a second thought from Honest Abe. That's an automatic disqualification."

The bell rings repeatedly as Pierre throws his hands into the air, pretending he has no idea what he's done.

Dirty Dick angrily argues with the referee while Pierre joins the protest from ringside.

Meanwhile, Rafa shakes his head in disappointment.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Nobody wanted to see it end like this."

Tony ‘Echo’ Calibur climbs into the ring with a microphone and offers it to Rafa.

Rafa Sandoval:

"No... no... that's not how I wanted this."

The crowd applauds in agreement.

Rafa Sandoval:

"I came here to wrestle."

"I came here to beat Dirty Dick Albano."

"Not because Pierre got himself thrown into the match."

The fans begin chanting.

Crowd:

"LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!"

Rafa Sandoval:

"So if Dirty Dick's got any pride..."

"If Pierre can keep his hands to himself..."

"I say we restart this match!"

The Columbia Coliseum erupts in cheers as Dirty Dick and Pierre stop arguing with the referee and slowly turn their attention back toward Rafa.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Listen to this crowd! They want the match restarted!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"I don't blame them. Rafa had all the momentum before Pierre stuck his nose where it didn't belong."

Dirty Dick smirks from across the ring as Pierre whispers something into his ear. The two exchange a knowing glance while the fans anxiously await their response.

Match Restarted

Pierre reluctantly backs away from the ring after another stern warning from "Honest" Abe, while Dirty Dick smirks at Rafa from across the ring.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"We're getting the match these fans wanted. Let's see if Pierre can finally keep his hands to himself."

The bell sounds, and Dirty Dick wastes no time, catching Rafa with a vicious rising knee that immediately puts the fan favorite on the defensive.

Albano stays aggressive, repeatedly driving his knee into Rafa whenever an opening presents itself.

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"Dirty Dick learned his lesson from the first match. He's not giving Rafa any room to build momentum."

Rafa finally battles back with a thunderous Rolling Elbow before launching himself through the ropes with an incredible suicide dive that sends both men crashing into the ringside area.

The Columbia Coliseum erupts as Rafa rolls Dirty Dick back into the ring and follows with a beautiful running shooting star press.

Just when it appears Rafa has seized control, Pierre discreetly slips a foreign object to his client while the referee's attention is elsewhere.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Not again! Pierre just can't help himself!"

The hidden weapon gives Dirty Dick just enough of an advantage to slow Rafa's comeback, but Rafa refuses to stay down. A poison rana followed by a devastating buckle bomb has the crowd believing the upset is within reach.

Both men stagger to their feet, exhausted from the back-and-forth battle.

Rafa swings with a superkick.

Dirty Dick answers with another crushing rising knee.

Both competitors connect, leaving each man reeling.

Sensing one last opportunity, Dirty Dick traps Rafa in a side headlock and, shielded from the referee's view, gouges him in the eye.

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"That's as dirty as it gets!"

Blinded, Rafa stumbles backward, and Dirty Dick quickly hooks both legs.

"Honest" Abe:

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three!"

DING! DING! DING!

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Dirty Dick Albano steals one here tonight!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"Rafa may have won the first battle, but Dirty Dick won the war—and he needed every shortcut in the book to do it."

Dirty Dick and Pierre Boulay waste no time retreating up the entrance ramp, celebrating as the fans rain down boos. Inside the ring, Rafa sits against the ropes, disappointed but receiving a respectful ovation from the HCW faithful.

Candace Hart catches up with Dirty Dick Albano and Pierre Boulay as they make their way through the backstage area. Dirty Dick is still breathing heavily but has a smug grin plastered across his face.

Candace Hart:

"Dirty Dick, after being disqualified earlier, Rafa Sandoval challenged you to restart the match. After sixteen grueling minutes, you walked away victorious. Your thoughts?"

Dick smirks before Pierre gently places a hand on Candace's microphone.

Pierre Boulay:

"I believe my client has already answered your question."

"He won."

Pierre smiles confidently.

Pierre Boulay:

"The history books will not remember that the match was restarted."

"They will not remember how emotional Rafa Sandoval became."

"They will remember one thing..."

"Dirty Dick Albano defeated Rafa Sandoval."

Dick chuckles.

"Dirty" Dick Albano:

"Rafa wanted another shot."

"He got one."

"And now he's got another loss."

"If he wants a third match..."

"He'd better earn it."

Pierre motions for Dick to continue walking.

Pierre Boulay:

"We've wasted enough time discussing losers."

The pair walk away, leaving Candace looking on as they disappear down the hallway.

The camera returns to ringside where Mike "The Voice" Johnson and Johnny "The Hammer" Harris are seated at the commentary desk.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Welcome back, everyone. Dirty Dick Albano may have escaped with the victory, but I don't think we've heard the last of Rafa Sandoval or Pierre Boulay."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"Rafa proved he could hang with Dirty Dick, Mike. Unfortunately, Pierre found another way to tip the scales. Something tells me this rivalry is just getting started."

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Still plenty of action to come tonight, including Jack Lumber addressing the HCW Universe as the new Convergent Champion, the debut of the Brothers Grimmstone, and our huge non-title main event featuring the Samoan Bloodline and Steel Justice."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"But first, we've got a matchup featuring two competitors looking to build momentum."

Country rock music echoes throughout the Columbia Coliseum as Outback Oscar steps onto the stage wearing his trademark outback hat and duster. A broad smile crosses his face as he tips his hat toward the cheering fans before making his way down the entrance ramp.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"You won't find many competitors more popular with the HCW faithful than Outback Oscar. He's as genuine outside the ring as he is inside it."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"And don't let that easygoing personality fool you. Oscar can wrestle with the best of them, and he'll make you earn every inch."

Oscar pauses several times along the aisle to shake hands with fans before climbing onto the apron. He removes his hat, raises it high above his head to another ovation, then steps through the ropes and settles into his corner.

The lights in the arena dim as a low electronic pulse begins to echo through the speakers.

A wall of smoke slowly rolls across the entrance stage.

Emerging from the haze is Adrian Cipher.

Dressed in sleek black gear accented with silver, Cipher surveys the arena with a cold, calculating expression. He doesn't acknowledge the fans, instead keeping his eyes locked squarely on the ring.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Adrian Cipher is a man who believes every match is a puzzle waiting to be solved."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"And he thinks he's always the smartest man in the room. That's made him a dangerous opponent, but it's also earned him plenty of enemies."

Cipher walks deliberately to the ring, never taking his eyes off Outback Oscar. Reaching ringside, he slowly climbs the steel steps before stepping through the ropes and backing into his corner.

The two competitors stare across the ring at one another as the referee checks both men, signaling that the second contest of the evening is ready to begin.

The bell sounds and both competitors waste no time feeling each other out.

Adrian Cipher strikes first, catching Oscar with a beautiful bridging dragon suplex, but the veteran Australian pops right back up and plants Cipher with a swinging neckbreaker.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Fast start by both men!"

Cipher immediately shifts gears, twisting Oscar into one of his bizarre hybrid submission holds before releasing it and looking for another opening. Oscar answers with a driving knee drop, refusing to let Cipher dictate the pace.

The match settles into a technical battle as each man searches for an advantage.

Oscar begins to gain momentum with a crushing full nelson face smash, followed moments later by a thunderous Australian leg sweep that sends Cipher crashing to the mat.

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"Outback Oscar is making Adrian Cipher uncomfortable. He's not letting Cipher slow this match down."

Cipher finally creates some separation by trapping Oscar in the Cipher Lock, wrenching back on the Fujiwara armbar before Oscar barely reaches the ropes.

The two continue trading momentum. Oscar answers with a sharp back elbow and another Australian leg sweep, while Cipher repeatedly targets Oscar's arm with a variety of painful submissions.

After a brief stalemate, Cipher catches Oscar off guard with another bridging dragon suplex before transitioning seamlessly into yet another hold, continuing to wear down his opponent.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Everything Adrian Cipher does has a purpose. He's been softening that arm up this entire match."

Oscar refuses to quit, breaking free and connecting with another Australian leg sweep that brings the crowd to its feet.

But as Oscar attempts to capitalize, Cipher quickly snatches him to the mat and reapplies the Cipher Lock, further weakening the damaged arm.

Sensing the end is near, Adrian wastes no time transitioning into the devastating Cremation Lily Double Omoplata & Figure Four Stump Puller.

Oscar struggles desperately, trying to crawl toward the ropes, but the pressure becomes too much.

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"I don't know how anybody escapes that!"

With nowhere to go, Outback Oscar has no choice but to tap out.

DING! DING! DING!

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"An impressive victory for Adrian Cipher! Outback Oscar gave him everything he could handle, but Cipher's relentless submission game proved to be the difference."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"That was like watching a chess match. Adrian Cipher kept thinking two and three moves ahead, and once he had Oscar's arm compromised, the ending felt inevitable."

Adrian Cipher calmly releases the hold before rising to his feet. Without celebrating, he casts one final glance at the recovering Outback Oscar, then quietly exits the ring, leaving the fans to applaud Oscar's resilience despite the hard-fought defeat.

HCW fades to commercial.

Back from Commercial

The broadcast returns to the Columbia Coliseum as the fans applaud.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Welcome back to HCW Live Wire! Still to come tonight, the Brothers Grimmstone make their long-awaited HCW debut, Jack Lumber addresses the HCW Universe as the new Convergent Champion, and our non-title main event features the Samoan Bloodline taking on Steel Justice."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"But it looks like we've got company."

Patriotic military music begins to play as Col. Samuel Flagg marches onto the stage carrying a microphone. Dressed in military fatigues and wearing his trademark campaign hat, Flagg scans the arena suspiciously before making his way toward the ring.

The crowd greets him with a mixed reaction as he climbs through the ropes.

Col. Samuel Flagg:

"At ease!"

The fans continue making noise.

Col. Samuel Flagg:

"I said... AT EASE!"

Flagg shakes his head in disgust.

Col. Samuel Flagg:

"Discipline. That's what's missing around here."

"I've been monitoring this operation."

"And I've come to one conclusion."

"HCW has a serious personnel problem."

He points toward the entrance.

Col. Samuel Flagg:

"I've been overlooked."

"I've been underutilized."

"And I've been denied valuable television time while management parades around every fresh-faced recruit they can find."

"I've served this company honorably, and what do I get?"

"Nothing!"

"That's not just bad management..."

"That's borderline un-American."

The crowd boos loudly.

Col. Samuel Flagg:

"So here's what's going to happen."

"I'm standing in this ring until somebody with enough intestinal fortitude comes out here and gives me the competition I've earned!"

For a moment, the arena falls silent.

Then—

A hard-hitting rock anthem blasts through the speakers.

The Columbia Coliseum erupts.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Wait a minute!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"Listen to this place!"

‘The Alaskan Wildman’ Jax Brenner steps onto the stage to a thunderous ovation. Beside him is Molly Mason, smiling as she applauds the reception Jax is receiving.

Jax pauses for a moment, taking in the cheers before the two make their way toward the ring.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"What a reception! Jax Brenner is back on Live Wire!"

Jax accepts a microphone before entering the ring.

He waits as the fans chant his name.

Crowd:

"JAX! JAX! JAX!"

Jax smiles before turning toward Flagg.

Jax Brenner:

"You know, Colonel..."

"I was listening in the back."

"And I have to admit..."

"You've got one thing right."

"You wanted television time."

The crowd cheers.

Jax Brenner:

"So if you're looking for a match..."

"I'm happy to oblige."

The fans erupt once again as Flagg grins confidently.

Without another word, both men hand their microphones to the timekeeper and back into their respective corners, ready for the next contest.

Bottom of Form

The bell rings, and neither man wastes any time.

Jax charges forward with a crushing forearm bludgeon, but Flagg answers immediately with a short-arm clothesline that levels the returning powerhouse.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Colonel Flagg came to fight tonight!"

The two exchange heavy offense throughout the opening minutes. Jax repeatedly rocks Flagg with thunderous forearms and nearly squeezes the life out of him with the Sasquatch Squeeze, while Flagg answers with stomps, suplexes, and his patented Patriotic Inverted Slam.

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"I'll give Flagg credit. He may complain a lot, but he's hanging right in there."

Momentum begins to swing toward Jax.

A towering suplex plants Flagg in the center of the ring before Molly Mason points out an opening, allowing Jax to stay on the attack.

The Alaskan Wildman pounds away with more forearms before drilling Flagg with the devastating Bigfoot Bomb.

The crowd senses the end.

Moments later, Molly encourages Jax from ringside, and he hooks the leg.

"Honest" Abe:

"One!"

"Two!"

Flagg barely kicks out.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"I don't know how he escaped that one!"

Jax keeps pouring on the offense, but Flagg survives with a reversal and a timely stomp before both men spill the action to the outside.

Jax sends Flagg over the top rope, but the Colonel dives back into the ring just before the ten-count.

The match continues, and both competitors are visibly exhausted.

Finally, Jax launches Flagg over the top rope a second time.

"Honest" Abe:

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three!"

As the referee counts, Flagg slowly rises to his feet outside the ring.

He looks toward the ring...

Then toward the crowd.

The Colonel throws both hands into the air in complete disgust.

Col. Samuel Flagg:

"This operation is compromised!"

"I refuse to participate in this circus!"

The fans erupt with laughter and boos as Flagg turns his back on the ring and begins marching toward the entrance ramp.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Where's he going?"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"I think the Colonel just declared this mission a failure!"

"Honest" Abe:

"Seven!"

"Eight!"

"Nine!"

"Ten!"

DING! DING! DING!

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"That's it! Col. Samuel Flagg has been counted out!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"I've seen wrestlers lose their temper before, but I've never seen one simply abandon the mission."

Jax Brenner has his hand raised in victory as Molly Mason applauds proudly from ringside.

Meanwhile, Flagg never looks back, continuing to grumble to himself as he disappears behind the curtain, convinced someone else—not him—was responsible for the outcome.

Jax Brenner's hand is raised as Molly Mason applauds proudly beside him. The crowd continues cheering the victorious return of "The Alaskan Wildman."

Without warning...

The arena lights dim.

A slow, ominous funeral bell echoes through the Columbia Coliseum.

The cheers quickly turn into uneasy murmurs.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Oh no..."

Through a cloud of smoke, Terrible Herse slowly steps onto the stage, his cold stare fixed entirely on Jax Brenner.

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"When Herse rolls in, somebody's night is about to end."

Herse doesn't rush.

He simply walks to the edge of the stage and stops.

Jax motions for him to come to the ring as Molly tries to keep him focused.

Instead, Herse slowly raises his Hardcore Championship high into the air.

The message is unmistakable.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Jax Brenner earned another victory tonight, but Terrible Herse is reminding him exactly what's waiting at Reign of Champions."

Herse slowly lowers the championship before dragging his thumb across his throat.

He smirks.

Then turns and disappears behind the curtain without saying a single word.

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"That wasn't a celebration. That was a warning."

Jax never takes his eyes off the entranceway as Molly stands beside him. The challenge has been accepted, and the road to Reign of Champions has become even more personal.

Terrible Herse disappears behind the curtain, leaving an eerie silence hanging over the Columbia Coliseum.

Inside the ring, Jax Brenner keeps his eyes locked on the entranceway for another moment before Molly Mason gently places a hand on his shoulder.

Jax nods.

The two exchange a determined glance, then Jax raises a fist to the cheering crowd.

The fans respond with a loud ovation as Jax and Molly make their way back up the entrance ramp, never taking their eyes off the direction Terrible Herse disappeared.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Terrible Herse may have delivered a warning tonight, but Jax Brenner didn't back down for a second."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"Neither one of those men is looking to blink first. Reign of Champions can't get here soon enough."

The camera follows Jax and Molly through the curtain before cutting back to ringside.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Fans, still to come tonight, the Brothers Grimmstone make their HCW debut, and later, the Samoan Bloodline takes on Steel Justice in our non-title main event."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"But right now, it's time to hear from the man who made history just six nights ago."

The lights inside the Columbia Coliseum dim as anticipation begins to build.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Jack Lumber walked into Voltage with the biggest opportunity of his career, and he walked out as the new HCW Convergent Champion."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"Tonight, for the first time since winning that championship, Jack Lumber addresses the HCW Universe."

The fans erupt as Jack Lumber's entrance music begins to play.

Tony "Echo" Calibur:

"Ladies and gentlemen... please welcome... the new Convergent Champion... JACK LUMBER!"

The Columbia Coliseum erupts as Jack Lumber steps onto the stage with the Convergent Championship draped proudly over his shoulder. He pauses at the top of the ramp, soaking in the ovation before making his way toward the ring, exchanging high-fives with fans along the aisle.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"What a moment for Jack Lumber! Just six nights ago he marched into NPCW and defeated Abaddon to become the new Convergent Champion."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"You won't find a harder-working man in this business, Mike. Jack Lumber earned every bit of this celebration."

Jack climbs into the ring and raises the Convergent Championship high above his head as the crowd roars its approval. He circles the ring before standing in the center, waiting for the cheers to settle.

"You know... I've spent a lot of years swinging an axe in this business."

"I've won championships."

"I've lost championships."

"I've been knocked down more times than I care to count."

"But every single time..."

"I got back up."

The fans applaud loudly.

Jack Lumber:

"Last Sunday..."

"I stood across the ring from Abaddon..."

"...and I walked out your Convergent Champion."

Jack pats the championship resting on his shoulder.

Jack Lumber:

"This championship doesn't belong to just me."

"It belongs to every person who's ever believed redemption was possible."

"It belongs to every fan who's stood beside me through every victory... and every setback."

"And as long as I'm standing..."

"I'll defend this championship with everything I've got."

Suddenly...

The arena lights begin to flicker.

A deep, distorted growl rolls through the Columbia Coliseum.

The Omegatron bursts into static.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"What in the world..."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"I don't like this one bit."

For only a fraction of a second...

The symbol of the Dark Dominion flashes across the Omegatron.

Then...

Darkness.

The Omegatron

A frozen wilderness appears beneath a black night sky.

Snow falls heavily through towering trees.

Several enormous logs lie scattered across the ground. Each one has been violently split apart—not cleanly cut, but broken through the middle by raw force.

A low, heavy breathing echoes through the arena.

The image slowly moves toward a dark figure standing among the trees.

Yeti.

A person in a furry garment

AI-generated content may be incorrect.

His massive body is partially concealed by the storm. Frost clings to his fur and shoulders. His breath rises in thick clouds as he stares directly into the camera.

For several long seconds... Yeti says nothing.

Then...

Yeti:

"Jack Lumber."

"The conquering hero."

"The honorable champion."

"The mighty woodsman who finally chopped down the demon Abaddon."

Yeti slowly looks toward one of the shattered logs.

Yeti:

"Listen to them cheer for you."

"Listen to them tell you that the battle is over."

"That you defeated the Dark Dominion."

"That you finally proved you are no longer the creature you used to be."

Yeti lowers his head and releases a quiet, rumbling laugh.

Yeti:

"But I remember that creature."

"I remember the smell of blood on his hands."

"I remember the championships he helped bring to the Dominion."

"I remember the men he betrayed."

"The people he abandoned."

"And the monster who stood proudly beside Count Vlad."

Yeti slowly raises his head and looks directly into the camera.

Yeti:

"Before there was THIS Jack Lumber…"

"There was Timberfang."

The Columbia Coliseum immediately erupts with boos.

Jack's expression hardens as he watches the Omegatron.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Jack only became Timberfang to help take down the Dark Dominion and now Yeti’s dredging it back up.”

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"Yeti isn't attacking Jack's championship... he's attacking Jack's past."

Yeti:

"You changed your name."

"You changed your clothes."

"You learned to smile for these people."

"You wrapped yourself in honor and convinced everyone that Timberfang was dead."

"But the forest remembers every wound carved into its trees."

"The snow remembers every footprint left behind."

"And monsters…"

Yeti slowly steps closer to the camera.

Yeti:

"Monsters always recognize their own."

Yeti bends down and picks up a thick section of timber.

Yeti:

"You defeated Abaddon."

"You regained the Convergent Championship."

"But you did not defeat your past."

"You carried it out of the ring with you."

Yeti snaps the timber across his knee before tossing the broken pieces into the snow.

Yeti:

"That championship does not prove you have changed."

"It only gives you something else to hide behind."

"A golden shield protecting Jack Lumber from the truth about Timberfang."

Yeti moves even closer until his face dominates the screen.

Yeti:

"I am not coming for forgiveness."

"I am not coming for justice."

"And I am not coming because Count Vlad ordered me to collect some ancient debt."

"I am coming because every time these people cheer your name…"

"I hear a coward trying to bury the beast he used to be."

Yeti bares his teeth.

Yeti:

"So hold that championship tightly, Jack."

"Defend it."

"Bleed for it."

"Convince yourself that it makes you a better man."

"I want you to believe your redemption is complete."

"Because when I finally step into that ring with you…"

"I will tear away the flannel."

"I will break the axe."

"I will rip the hero apart with my bare hands."

"And when there is nothing left for you to hide behind—"

The wind briefly overwhelms the audio.

Yeti:

"The whole world will see what I already know."

"Jack Lumber never defeated Timberfang."

"He only taught Timberfang how to lie."

Yeti slams both fists into a nearby tree.

The massive trunk cracks violently before crashing into the snow behind him.

Yeti stares directly into the camera.

Yeti:

"The Alpha Beast is coming, Jack."

"And this time…"

"The forest will not hear your axe."

"It will hear you fall."

Yeti unleashes a deafening roar.

The Omegatron fills with static.

The Dark Dominion symbol flashes one final time.

Then the screen goes completely black.

The arena lights slowly return.

Jack remains standing motionless in the center of the ring, staring at the darkened Omegatron.

The celebration inside the Columbia Coliseum has completely disappeared.

Jack slowly removes the Convergent Championship from his shoulder and grips it tightly at his side.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"I don't think Yeti came here looking for a championship."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"No... he came looking for Timberfang."

The fans begin chanting in support of Jack.

Crowd:

"JACK! JACK! JACK!"

Jack slowly raises the microphone.

Jack Lumber:

"You want Timberfang?"

"Come find out why I buried him."

“In fact, I’ll make it very easy on you.  I’ll come THERE.”

Jack drops the microphone onto the canvas.

The arena explodes as he raises the Convergent Championship high overhead.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Jack Lumber just threw the challenge right back at Yeti!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"And if Yeti wants a fight... I don't think Jack Lumber is backing down."

The camera remains fixed on Jack's determined expression.

He is no longer celebrating.

He is preparing for war.

Following Jack Lumber's address to the HCW Universe, the camera returns to ringside as the fans continue buzzing about the new Convergent Champion.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"What a statement from Jack Lumber. He's proven he belongs among HCW's elite, and judging by that message from Yeti, his journey as Convergent Champion is only just beginning."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"Jack wanted this challenge, Mike. Well, now he's got it. But tonight rolls on, and we've still got plenty of action before our huge main event."

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Our next contest features one-half of the number one contenders to the Iron Maidens Tag Team Championship. The Stillwell Angel has been on an incredible run alongside Joy Monroe, and with Reign of Champions approaching, every victory matters."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"But standing across the ring is Trinity Bowman. She'd love nothing more than to knock the Angel off course and make a statement of her own."

A sharp, driving rock theme fills the arena as Trinity Bowman steps through the curtain.

A smug grin spreads across her face as she surveys the crowd, unimpressed by the chorus of boos raining down from every corner of the Columbia Coliseum.

She casually brushes a strand of hair from her face before making her way to the ring, completely ignoring the fans reaching over the barricade.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Trinity Bowman has never been concerned with making friends. Her focus has always been winning by any means necessary."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"And if she can spoil the momentum of one of the top contenders tonight, that'll do wonders for her standing."

Trinity confidently climbs into the ring and stretches in her corner while keeping a watchful eye on the entrance.

The arena lights brighten as uplifting rock music fills the Columbia Coliseum.

The crowd immediately rises to its feet.

The Stillwell Angel steps onto the stage with a warm smile, acknowledging the fans with a wave before making her way toward the ring.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Listen to this ovation! The HCW Universe has really embraced the Stillwell Angel."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"She and Joy Monroe have earned an opportunity at the Iron Maidens Tag Team Championship at Reign of Champions, but tonight is about staying sharp."

Angel slaps hands with fans all the way down the aisle before climbing onto the apron. She offers one final wave to the crowd, steps through the ropes, and locks eyes with Trinity Bowman from across the ring.

With both competitors ready, "Honest" Abe checks each corner before signaling for the opening bell.

The opening bell sounds, and The Stillwell Angel immediately takes control, wrapping Trinity Bowman in a tight Black Widow Octopus Hold before following it with a sharp spin kick that staggers the heel.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"The Stillwell Angel came out with a game plan, and she's executing it beautifully."

Trinity finally creates an opening by countering a front dropkick, but the momentum is short-lived.

Angel catches her flush with a devastating Shining Wizard, sending Trinity crashing to the canvas.

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"That'll rearrange your thoughts in a hurry."

The match begins to even out as Trinity answers with a standing dropkick, a bridging suplex, and a pair of crafty small-package roll-up attempts that nearly steal the contest.

Still, Angel refuses to lose control.

A swinging neckbreaker, another front dropkick, and a punishing bodyscissors sleeper hold continue wearing Trinity down as the HCW fans rally behind the number one contender.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"This is exactly why she and Joy Monroe have earned an opportunity at the Iron Maidens Tag Team Championship."

As the match reaches its final stages, both competitors exchange reversals in a frantic series of counters.

Angel scores with a front dropkick and quickly hooks the leg.

Trinity reverses.

Angel reverses back.

Another pin attempt.

Only a one-count.

The crowd roars as both women scramble back to their feet.

Trinity attempts another bridging suplex, but Angel slips free and narrowly avoids disaster.

Moments later, Angel sees her opening.

She springs to the middle rope and launches herself into a perfectly executed Sliced Bread #2 Shiranui, driving Trinity face-first into the mat.

"Honest" Abe:

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three!"

DING! DING! DING!

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"She got her! Another impressive victory for The Stillwell Angel!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"If the Iron Maidens weren't paying attention before, they certainly are now. The Stillwell Angel has all the momentum in the world heading toward Reign of Champions."

As her hand is raised in victory, The Stillwell Angel acknowledges the cheering fans with a smile before pointing toward the championship belts around her waist, making it clear that she and Joy Monroe have one goal in mind.

The road to Reign of Champions continues to shine brightly for the challengers.

The camera cuts backstage where Candace Hart stands with microphone in hand. Beside her are the debuting Brothers GrimmstoneAlaric Grimmstone, holding an aged leather-bound tome against his chest, and Elias Grimmstone, a heavy chain wrapped loosely around one shoulder. Both men are calm, composed, and expressionless.

Candace Hart:

"Fans, please welcome the newest team to arrive in Heritage Championship Wrestling... the Brothers Grimmstone."

"In just a few moments, you'll make your HCW debut. What should the HCW Universe expect from Elias and Alaric Grimmstone?"

Alaric slowly opens the blackened book, glancing down at its empty pages before looking back into the camera.

Alaric Grimmstone:

"Every wrestler believes they are the author of their own story."

"They dream of writing glorious victories..."

"Of heroic triumphs..."

"Of championships that will be remembered forever."

He slowly closes the book.

Alaric Grimmstone:

"They're mistaken."

"The story was never theirs to write."

Candace shifts her attention toward Elias, who remains perfectly still.

Candace Hart:

"Elias?"

Elias lowers his eyes toward the chain resting on his shoulder.

After a long pause, he finally speaks.

Elias Grimmstone:

"Every tale..."

"...needs an ending."

Silence.

Alaric smiles ever so slightly.

Alaric Grimmstone:

"Tonight, Doofus and Waldo become our opening chapter."

"They are not villains."

"They are not heroes."

"They are simply the first names entered into our chronicle."

He runs a hand across the cover of the book.

Alaric Grimmstone:

"Some stories end with applause."

"Ours end with silence."

"And when this chapter is complete..."

"...the next names will already be waiting to be written."

Without another word, Alaric tucks the book beneath his arm.

Elias turns first, the iron chain scraping lightly across the concrete floor as the brothers walk toward the entrance curtain.

Candace watches them leave before turning back to the camera.

Candace Hart:

"The Brothers Grimmstone make their HCW debut... next."

The camera fades back to ringside as anticipation builds for the arrival of HCW's newest tag team.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"It's time for the HCW debut of one of the most anticipated tag teams to arrive in recent memory... but first, they'll have to get through two men who are certainly no strangers to this audience."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"And judging by the reaction we're about to hear, I'd say 'no strangers' is putting it mildly."

A loud, obnoxious theme blasts through the speakers.

The moment Doofus Covfefe appears on the stage, the Columbia Coliseum erupts into deafening boos.

Wearing his trademark smug grin, Doofus points toward himself and nods as if the crowd is showering him with praise rather than ridicule.

Beside him, Waldo Winchester follows with his usual uncertain expression, looking more confused than confident.

Doofus stops halfway down the ramp and motions for the crowd to quiet down.

They only boo louder.

He nods approvingly.

Doofus:

"Thank you! Thank you very much!"

"I've been told—and a lot of people are saying it, the smartest people, by the way—that this is the biggest ovation in HCW history."

The boos intensify.

Doofus:

"They've never seen anything like it."

"Frankly, these people love Doofus and Waldo. They really do."

"They come up to me with tears in their eyes—and they're big, strong people—and they say, 'Sir... sir... please keep wrestling.'"

Waldo enthusiastically nods along despite the crowd's overwhelming hostility.

Doofus:

"Our opponents? Total disasters."

"Very low energy."

"They're bringing books to a wrestling match."

"What kind of team reads?"

The crowd chants:

Crowd:

"YOU SUCK!"

"YOU SUCK!"

Doofus cups a hand behind his ear.

Doofus:

"I agree! They do!"

He gives the audience a thumbs-up before proudly marching the rest of the way to the ring.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"I honestly don't know if Doofus hears the crowd or just hears what he wants to hear."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"I'm convinced he lives in a completely different reality."

Doofus climbs through the ropes and continues waving to the fans while Waldo awkwardly follows him into the ring.

Only after both men are inside does the ring announcer step forward.

Tony "Echo" Calibur:

"Ladies and gentlemen, this tag team contest is scheduled for one fall!"

"Already in the ring... at a combined weight of 482 pounds..."

"DOOFUS... AND... WALDO!"

The announcement is met with another thunderous chorus of boos as Doofus raises both arms triumphantly, convinced he has just received the reception of a lifetime.

The arena suddenly goes dark.

A single church bell tolls.

Then another.

Soft whispers begin echoing throughout the Columbia Coliseum as crimson light flickers across the stage.

The heavy opening notes of a symphonic metal anthem fill the arena, blending haunting violins with thunderous guitar riffs.

The boos directed at Doofus and Waldo fade into curious anticipation.

From the darkness emerges Alaric Grimmstone.

Dressed in black and crimson ring gear adorned with medieval leatherwork and etched runes, he walks slowly onto the stage, an ancient blackened tome open in his hands. His eyes scan its pages as though reading a story only he can see.

Several steps behind him...

Elias Grimmstone appears.

Towering over his brother, Elias drags a massive iron chain behind him. Each scrape across the steel stage echoes through the arena like a warning bell. His expression never changes as he fixes his gaze on the ring.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"An unforgettable entrance for the Brothers Grimmstone. Everything about these two is calculated to send a message."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"They're not trying to intimidate people, Mike. They expect people to already be afraid."

Alaric reaches ringside first and slowly closes the book before placing it on the ring apron.

Elias ascends the steel steps, the chain now draped over one shoulder, never once taking his eyes off Doofus and Waldo.

The brothers enter the ring together.

Alaric retrieves the book and tucks it beneath his arm, wearing the faintest hint of a smirk.

Elias takes his place behind him, arms crossed, looming like a silent executioner.

The crowd, still eager to see Doofus and Waldo get what they deserve, offers a surprising smattering of applause for the newcomers.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"I didn't expect this reaction."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"It's less about cheering the Grimmstones and more about who they're standing across from."

Tony "Echo" Calibur steps to the center of the ring.

Tony "Echo" Calibur:

"And their opponents..."

"Making their HCW debut..."

"At a combined weight of 511 pounds..."

"THE BROTHERS GRIMMSTONE... ELIAS... AND... ALARIC... GRIMMSTONE!"

Alaric slowly raises the ancient tome high into the air.

Elias tightens his grip on the iron chain.

The brothers exchange a silent nod before turning their full attention to Doofus and Waldo as "Honest" Abe calls both teams to their respective corners and prepares to signal for the opening bell.

The bell rings, and the Brothers Grimmstone waste no time demonstrating why they have generated so much intrigue.

Alaric Grimmstone starts the match, immediately taking the fight to Doofus with a sharp bicycle knee strike attempt before driving him backward with a crushing Kamigoye. Doofus quickly retreats to his corner, eagerly tagging in Waldo.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"That might be the smartest decision Doofus has ever made."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"Low bar, Mike."

Alaric calmly tags in Elias, and the atmosphere immediately changes.

The towering Grimmstone nearly folds Doofus in half with a devastating Gonzo Bomb, then silently motions for his brother to return to the ring.

From there, the Grimmstones begin telling their story.

Not with words...

But with punishment.

They isolate Waldo, cutting the ring in half with flawless teamwork. Alaric plants him with a brainbuster before Elias follows with a crushing spinning Samoan drop.

The crowd begins applauding the precision of the newcomers while Doofus frantically shouts contradictory instructions from the apron.

Doofus Covfefe:

"You're doing great! Terrible! Both! Do everything!"

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"I don't think Waldo has any idea what his partner wants."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"I don't think Doofus knows either."

The Grimmstones continue their relentless assault.

A pumphandle over-the-knee neckbreaker.

A massive boot from Elias.

Another Kamigoye.

Then an All Seeing Eye Cradle Shock that leaves Waldo barely able to stand.

Every time Waldo seems ready to crawl toward his corner, another Grimmstone cuts him off.

The brothers never rush.

Never panic.

They simply dismantle him chapter by chapter.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Look at the composure. They're not just trying to win—they're methodically breaking Waldo down."

Waldo finally finds a brief opening with a top-rope axehandle and later manages to lock Elias in a Scorpion Deathlock, but neither moment lasts.

The Grimmstones answer with another barrage of devastating tandem offense, including a discus clothesline, Yokosuka Cutter, suicide dive, and another perfectly placed Kamigoye.

Doofus finally manages to get involved, squashing Elias with a ridiculous stinkface while Waldo throws mounted punches, drawing loud boos from the Columbia Coliseum.

The cheap offense only delays the inevitable.

Elias rises.

His expression unchanged.

He drives Waldo into the canvas with a thunderous spinning Samoan drop before stopping a desperate Worm Chop Drop attempt in its tracks.

With frightening athleticism for a man his size, Elias springs to the ropes and launches into a picture-perfect Springboard Moonsault.

The impact shakes the ring.

He hooks the leg.

"Honest" Abe:

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three!"

DING! DING! DING!

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"What an impressive debut! The Brothers Grimmstone have arrived in HCW!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"They called it the opening chapter... and I'd say that story had a pretty unhappy ending for Doofus and Waldo."

As the referee raises the hands of Elias and Alaric Grimmstone, Alaric retrieves the black tome from ringside and slowly opens it once more.

Without a smile, he mimes writing a single line across an empty page before quietly closing the book.

The brothers exchange a silent nod.

Their first chapter has been written.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"What a debut for the Brothers Grimmstone. They promised to write the opening chapter of their story tonight... and they delivered in emphatic fashion."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"They're unlike any tag team we've got in HCW. Calm. Calculated. And just plain unsettling. If I'm the rest of the tag division, I'm paying attention."

The Brothers Grimmstone slowly exit the ring together, Alaric carrying his black tome while Elias follows with the iron chain draped over his shoulder. They never acknowledge the crowd as they disappear behind the curtain.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Still to come tonight, our non-title main event sees the HCW World Tag Team Champions, the Samoan Bloodline, square off against Steel Justice."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"And right now, Candace Hart is standing by with the champions."

Backstage

Candace Hart:

"Thank you, Mike. Raku... Tumu... in just a few moments you'll head to the ring for tonight's non-title main event against Steel Justice."

"But after what we witnessed earlier tonight, I have to ask about the Brothers Grimmstone. They made an impressive debut, and with the tag team division as competitive as it's ever been, does a team like that catch your attention?"

Raku lets out a slight grin.

Samoan Stomper Raku:

"In this business, every team wants these."

He pats the World Tag Team Championship on his shoulder.

Samoan Stomper Raku:

"So yes... we notice everyone."

Tumu nods in agreement.

Tumu Vaega:

"But noticing somebody... and fearing somebody..."

"...those are two different things."

Raku turns his attention back to Candace.

Samoan Stomper Raku:

"Tonight isn't about the Grimmstones."

"It's about Steel Justice."

"They've earned our respect."

"They're tough."

"They're proud."

"And they always bring a fight."

Tumu steps forward.

Tumu Vaega:

"That's exactly what we want."

"Because if you're coming after the Bloodline..."

"You better bring everything you've got."

Raku adjusts the championship on his shoulder.

Samoan Stomper Raku:

"We'll worry about tomorrow..."

"...after we handle tonight."

The teammates nod to one another before walking toward the entrance area.

Candace Hart:

"The Samoan Bloodline is focused on the task at hand. Their non-title match against Steel Justice is next."

The camera returns to ringside as Mike "The Voice" Johnson and Johnny "The Hammer" Harris look toward the entrance stage.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Welcome back, everyone. The Brothers Grimmstone certainly made an unforgettable first impression here tonight."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"They're going to be a problem for every team in this division. But right now, all eyes are on our main event."

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"This is a non-title contest, but don't let that fool you. Steel Justice has been one of the most successful tag teams in HCW, while the Samoan Bloodline continues to prove why they're the World Tag Team Champions."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"If Steel Justice can knock off the champions tonight, it'll send a message to the entire tag division."

Energetic rock music fills the Columbia Coliseum as Steel Justice makes their way onto the stage.

Alex "Skyhawk" Justice leads the way, slapping hands with fans along the aisle while Kellyn "Raven Archer" Chrisari follows close behind, pointing toward the cheering crowd.

The ovation grows louder as the fan-favorite duo heads toward the ring.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"You won't find two competitors who embody perseverance quite like Steel Justice. They've fought their way through every challenge that's been put in front of them."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"And tonight they get another one. Beating the World Tag Team Champions—even in a non-title match—is about as big a statement as you can make."

Alex and Kellyn climb into the ring together and salute the crowd from opposite turnbuckles before settling into their corner.

The lights dim slightly as the rhythmic pulse of island drums echoes throughout the arena.

A roar erupts from the Columbia Coliseum.

The HCW World Tag Team Champions, Samoan Stomper Raku and Tumu "The Island Beast" Vaega, emerge onto the stage with the championship belts proudly draped over their shoulders.

The champions raise the titles high before beginning the walk to the ring, acknowledging the fans with respectful nods along the way.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"These two have represented the World Tag Team Championship with pride since the day they won the gold."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"They're champions for a reason. They respect every opponent... but once that bell rings, they'll hit you like a freight train."

Raku and Tumu circle the ring before climbing onto the apron simultaneously. They step through the ropes, remove their championships, and hand them to the referee before turning toward Steel Justice.

Both teams meet in the center of the ring for one final stare-down as the crowd applauds the mutual respect between them.

Tony "Echo" Calibur steps forward.

Tony "Echo" Calibur:

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is tonight's main event, and it is scheduled for one fall!"

He gestures toward the challengers' corner.

"Introducing first... at a combined weight of 454 pounds..."

"ALEX 'SKYHAWK' JUSTICE... KELLYN 'RAVEN ARCHER' CHRISARI... STEEL JUSTICE!"

The crowd cheers loudly.

Tony then turns toward the opposite corner.

"And their opponents..."

"At a combined weight of 632 pounds..."

"They are the HCW World Tag Team Champions..."

"SAMOAN STOMPER RAKU... TUMU 'THE ISLAND BEAST' VAEGA... THE SAMOAN BLOODLINE!"

Another loud ovation fills the arena as both teams receive one final round of applause.

Referee "Honest" Abe accepts the championship belts from ringside, checks with both corners, and signals for the bell as the highly anticipated non-title main event is set to begin.

The bell sounds, and the Samoan Bloodline immediately demonstrates why they sit atop the HCW tag team division.

Before Alex Justice can establish any offense, the champions cut the ring in half. Raku drives Alex face-first into the ring post before Tumu follows with the devastating Island Quake, drawing an early gasp from the crowd.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"The champions wasted absolutely no time taking control!"

Alex refuses to stay down.

As Tumu launches him overhead with a belly-to-belly suplex, Alex answers with a breathtaking Skyhawk Soar Moonsault, bringing the Columbia Coliseum to its feet.

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"That's why Steel Justice is always dangerous. They can change the momentum in a heartbeat."

The pace accelerates as both teams showcase exactly why they're among HCW's elite. Raku blasts Alex with a crushing Coco-Butt and a spinebreaker. Alex responds with a Winged Uppercut, a Heavenly Hammer DDT, and an Enchanted Dropkick. Neither team is willing to surrender an inch. Alex even dives through the ropes with a spectacular Justice Dive, sending Raku crashing to the floor before the champion barely beats "Honest" Abe's count back into the ring.

The Bloodline regroups.

Tumu enters.

And the complexion of the match changes.

Using crisp tags and seamless teamwork, the champions isolate Alex in their corner, punishing him with a barrage of superkicks, choke attacks, and another crushing Island Quake.

Still, Alex refuses to quit.

Even after absorbing a thunderous Samoan Spike and repeated double-team attacks, he somehow counters a pin attempt into one of his own before making the desperate tag to Kellyn Chrisari.

The fresh Raven Archer flies into the ring with renewed energy, but Tumu catches him with a crushing flying headbutt drop that nearly ends the contest.

Kellyn survives.

Alex returns.

The challengers mount one final comeback.

Alex connects with a Celestial Spiral Leg Drop, an Ariel Sweep, and another Heavenly Hammer DDT as the crowd rallies behind Steel Justice.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"Steel Justice just will not go away!"

Raku finally tags back into the match.  The Samoan Stomper rocks Alex with brutal pectoral chops before locking in a crushing bearhug. Though Alex refuses to submit, the damage forces another tag to Kellyn.

Kellyn tries to rally one last time, avoiding Raku's Samoan Death Stomp. But the veteran champion remains relentless.

A series of thunderous pectoral chops leaves Kellyn staggered in the center of the ring.

Raku hooks the leg.

"Honest" Abe:

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three!"

DING! DING! DING!

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"The Samoan Bloodline remains as dominant as ever! What a main event!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"Give Steel Justice all the credit in the world—they pushed the champions every step of the way. But Raku and Tumu showed exactly why they're carrying the World Tag Team Championship."

Raku helps Kellyn back to his feet before offering a respectful nod.

Alex joins his partner as both teams exchange brief acknowledgments of one another's effort.

The Samoan Bloodline retrieve their championship belts and raise them high above their heads to a strong ovation from the HCW faithful.

The Samoan Bloodline stand on opposite turnbuckles, each raising an HCW World Tag Team Championship high above their heads as the Columbia Coliseum applauds both teams after an outstanding main event.

Steel Justice regroups on the outside. Alex "Skyhawk" Justice nods toward the champions before he and Kellyn "Raven Archer" Chrisari head up the entrance ramp to a warm ovation from the fans.

Inside the ring, Raku and Tumu exchange a proud embrace before once again raising their championship belts.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"What a way to close another edition of Live Wire. Steel Justice threw everything they had at the World Tag Team Champions tonight, but once again, the Samoan Bloodline proved why they're at the top of the mountain."

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"And don't think Steel Justice has anything to hang their heads about. They pushed the champs to the limit. But the Bloodline always seems to find that extra gear when it matters most."

The camera captures fans cheering around the arena before settling on the champions standing tall in the center of the ring with their titles held high.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:

"For Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris, I'm Mike 'The Voice' Johnson saying thank you for joining us for another exciting night of Heritage Championship Wrestling!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:

"We'll see you tomorrow night on HCW Voltage. Good night, everybody!"

The broadcast fades out on one final shot of the Samoan Bloodline celebrating beneath the bright lights of the Columbia Coliseum as the HCW Live Wire logo appears on the screen.
