Sam Duffy:
“Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter!”

Rick Granger:
“We are coming to you live from a packed arena tonight, and Sam, this one feels different. There’s a tension in the air you can’t ignore.”

Sam Duffy:
“You’re absolutely right, Rick. The HCW World Championship will be defended tonight as Zack ‘Commando’ Brown puts the gold on the line against Sterling Silverman.”

Rick Granger:
“And while that’s the main event, there are forces moving behind the scenes that may be far more dangerous than anything happening inside that ring.”

Sam Duffy:
“The Dominion still claims control… but new challengers are emerging, and not all of them are playing by the same rules.”

Rick Granger:
“I like it, Sam. Control is only real until somebody takes it.”

Sam Duffy:
“Well said. Let’s get things started.”

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT

Camera cuts backstage to Larry Morton, standing between Chris “Thunderstrike” Thompson and Mike “the Rebel” Matthews—The Dynamic Duo. Both men look confident, slightly smug.

Larry Morton:
“I’m here with The Dynamic Duo, coming off a victory over La Famiglia Marconi last night on Live Wire. Gentlemen, your thoughts?”

Chris “Thunderstrike” Thompson:
“A win’s a win, Larry. I don’t care how it happens—when that bell rings, our hands were raised.”

Mike “the Rebel” Matthews:
“People can talk about countouts all they want, but last I checked, the record books don’t come with footnotes.”

Thompson smirks, nodding.

Chris “Thunderstrike” Thompson:
“And after a win like that, we think it’s time to start talking about what’s next… maybe those World Tag Team Titles.”

Before Larry can respond—

Duke Knight steps into frame, calm but intense. Biceps Bannerman follows, arms crossed, unimpressed.*

Duke Knight:
“Titles?”

A slight pause. Duke shakes his head.

Duke Knight (cont.):
“You didn’t beat the Marconis. You let the New Sicilians interfere leaving you to get that cheap win.”

Mike “the Rebel” Matthews:
“Oh here we go—”

Biceps Bannerman (cutting him off):
“No, no… let’s be real for a second.”

Bannerman steps forward slightly, locking eyes with both men.

Biceps Bannerman:
“You want to talk about title shots? We’ve had ours. You’ve had yours. And guess what—none of us got it done.”

The smugness fades just slightly from the Duo.

Chris “Thunderstrike” Thompson:
“So what are you saying?”

Duke Knight:
“I’m saying you don’t get to skip the line because you survived a countout.”

Beat.

Biceps Bannerman:
“You want to prove you belong? Do it against a team that’s just as hungry… and just as tired of coming up short.”

The tension rises. The two teams step closer—no shoving, just intensity.

Mike “the Rebel” Matthews:
“You want the match?”

Chris “Thunderstrike” Thompson:
“You got it.”

Duke Knight:
“Good.”

Duke gives a slight nod. Bannerman cracks his neck.

Biceps Bannerman:
“Let’s see who actually earns it.”

The teams stare each other down as Larry steps slightly aside, letting the moment breathe.

BACK TO COMMENTARY

Sam Duffy:
“Well that didn’t take long. Two teams with something to prove, and it sounds like we’ve got a match on our hands.”

Rick Granger:
“This is what competition is supposed to look like, Sam. No excuses, no shortcuts—just two teams ready to fight for position.”

Sam Duffy:
“And we’re kicking things off with that match next!”

The arena lights dim slightly before shifting into a steady, focused white glow.

A deep, rhythmic drumbeat begins to echo through the arena.

“Iron Resolve” by Vanguard Ritual plays.

Duke Knight steps out first, composed and locked in, scanning the arena with quiet intensity. He pauses at the top of the ramp, jaw set, eyes forward.

A half-step behind him, Biceps Bannerman emerges—shoulders rolled, arms flexing slightly as he cracks his neck, already amped for the fight.

Sam Duffy:
“Here comes a team that made it very clear moments ago—they’re not interested in talk, they’re interested in proving something.”

Rick Granger:
“And I like that, Sam. No smiles, no posing—just two guys who know exactly where they stand… and they’re not happy about it.”

Duke begins the walk down the ramp—measured, deliberate.

Bannerman follows, feeding off the crowd’s energy but never losing focus.

They reach ringside. Duke steps up onto the apron and enters through the ropes with purpose.

Bannerman climbs the steps, wipes his boots, and steps inside, immediately pacing like a caged animal.

Sam Duffy:
“You can feel the urgency with this team. They’ve been close before—but close doesn’t count.”

Rick Granger:
“And tonight, they’re trying to make sure nobody questions them again.”

Duke takes his corner. Bannerman bounces in place, eyes locked on the entrance.

The lights cut to black for a split second—

Then—

A sharp guitar riff hits as blue and white lights flash across the stage.

“No Brakes, No Mercy” by Street Chrome plays.

The crowd pops as Chris “Thunderstrike” Thompson bursts onto the stage, full of energy, followed closely by Mike “the Rebel” Matthews, who walks out with a confident, almost defiant swagger.

Thompson throws his arms out wide, soaking in the reaction.

Matthews just smirks—cool, unfazed.

Sam Duffy:
“And here comes The Dynamic Duo—riding high after that controversial win over the Marconis!”

Rick Granger:
“Controversial or not, Sam—they got the job done. And I’ll tell you this… they don’t look like a team second-guessing themselves.”

Thompson slaps hands with fans along the ramp, hyped and energized.

Matthews walks a step behind, eyes locked on the ring, occasionally nodding like he’s already visualizing the win.

Sam Duffy:
“They said earlier tonight—a win is a win. And they’re carrying that confidence right into this match.”

Rick Granger:
“Confidence is good… but they’re about to find out if it’s enough.”

The Duo slides into the ring—

Thompson pops up and hits the ropes, hyping the crowd.

Matthews steps through the ropes more slowly, leaning back against them, staring across at Duke and Bannerman with that signature “Stone Cold” edge.

Thompson joins him at center ring—both men now face-to-face with their opponents.

Duke steps forward slightly.

Bannerman cracks his knuckles.

Sam Duffy:
“This one feels like more than just an opening match.”

Rick Granger:
“This is about respect, Sam. And neither team looks ready to give an inch.”

The bell rings and the tension from backstage immediately carries into the ring. Biceps Bannerman wastes no time, stepping into Chris “Thunderstrike” Thompson with a brutal chop to the chest that snaps Thompson backward and sets the tone early.

Sam Duffy:
“That’ll wake you up in a hurry!”

The Dynamic Duo try to answer with quick tags and double-team offense, looking to outpace the heavier team, but Bannerman absorbs the pressure and fires back with raw power—slamming Thompson down and refusing to give up control.

Momentum swings back and forth as both teams trade advantage. Thompson finds openings with sharp strikes and a vertical suplex, while Mike “the Rebel” Matthews adds bursts of offense to keep Bannerman off balance.

Rick Granger:
“They’re trying to speed this up—but Bannerman just keeps dragging it back into a fight.”

A chaotic sequence erupts as all four men spill into the ring—superkicks, slams, and heavy shots flying in every direction. Duke Knight cuts through the chaos with precision, landing a flying forearm that halts the Duo’s momentum just as it starts to build.

The match settles into a grind. The Dynamic Duo begin isolating Bannerman, tagging in and out with purpose, wearing him down with repeated strikes and holds. Thompson locks in control and finally creates an opening—

TAG TO DUKE KNIGHT.

Duke enters with urgency, immediately snapping off a neckbreaker and driving the pace in his team’s favor. Thompson tries to answer back, but the damage begins to show as Duke keeps the pressure on.

Sam Duffy:
“Duke Knight is changing this match in a hurry!”

Late in the match, the Dynamic Duo rally again—superkick, quick tags, and another burst of double-team offense that rocks Duke and brings the crowd to its feet.

But Duke survives.

Both men rise—

Thompson fires a superkick.

Duke answers with a running clothesline.

They stagger—

And in one decisive moment—

FLYING FIVEARM!

Duke crashes into Thompson and hooks the leg.

Sam Duffy:
“Cover!”

1… 2… 3!

RESULT:  Duke Knight & Biceps Bannerman win by pinfall

Duke rolls off, breathing heavily as Bannerman steps in beside him. Across the ring, The Dynamic Duo sit up, frustration visible—Matthews slaps the mat once while Thompson exhales, shaking his head.

Duke steps forward and extends his hand.

A brief pause hangs in the air.

Thompson looks at Matthews… then back at Duke.

He nods.

Handshake.

Bannerman steps forward—Matthews meets him, and the two exchange a firm shake as well.

Rick Granger:
“That’s how you handle it right there. No excuses—just respect.”

The Dynamic Duo exit the ring with their edge still intact, while Duke and Bannerman remain for a moment, acknowledging the win without over-celebration.

Sam Duffy:
“A statement victory to kick things off tonight!”

Camera cuts backstage to Larry Morton, standing in front of an HCW backdrop.

Larry Morton:
“I’m standing by with La Famiglia Marconi—Dominic Marconi and Rolf Marconi—following what many have called a controversial loss last night on Live Wire.”

The camera widens slightly as Dominic Marconi steps into frame, composed but clearly irritated. Rolf Marconi stands just behind him, arms folded, eyes cold.

Larry Morton (cont.):
“Gentlemen, earlier tonight we heard The Dynamic Duo claim that a win is a win. Your response?”

Dominic takes a breath before speaking—measured, controlled.

Dominic Marconi:
“A win is a win… when you earn it.”

He adjusts his cuffs slightly, never breaking eye contact with Larry.

Dominic Marconi (cont.):
“What happened last night was not a victory. It was an escape.”

Rolf steps forward just slightly, his tone lower, more direct.

Rolf Marconi:
“They ran.”

A beat.

Rolf Marconi (cont.):
“And now they want to talk about title opportunities?”

Dominic raises a hand slightly, calming the tone—but not the message.

Dominic Marconi:
“We are not interested in excuses. We are not interested in debates.”

He leans in just enough to sharpen the point.

Dominic Marconi (cont.):
“We are interested in results.”

Larry nods, sensing the shift in tone.

Larry Morton:
“So where does that leave The Dynamic Duo?”

Dominic allows a faint, almost dismissive smile.

Dominic Marconi:
“It leaves them exactly where they belong…”

Beat.

Dominic Marconi (cont.):
“In our way.”

Rolf steps fully alongside Dominic now.

Rolf Marconi:
“And next time—”

He pauses.

Rolf Marconi (cont.):
“They don’t get to leave.”

A tense silence lingers for a moment.

Larry Morton:
“Strong words from La Famiglia Marconi.”

Dominic straightens his jacket.

Dominic Marconi:
“No, Mr. Morton…”

He glances directly into the camera.

Dominic Marconi (cont.):
“A promise.”

Dominic turns and walks off. Rolf lingers for half a second longer, staring into the camera… then follows.

Larry watches them go, slightly unsettled.

BACK TO COMMENTARY

Sam Duffy:
“I don’t think there’s any question how they feel about that result.”

Rick Granger:
“And I’ll tell you this, Sam—those aren’t the kind of men you want looking at you like that.”

Sam Duffy:
“La Famiglia Marconi sending a very clear message here tonight.”

The lights dim into a soft amber glow as a steady, atmospheric rhythm begins to play.

“Dust & Daylight” by Hollow Valley Run plays.

Dixie Caverns steps out onto the stage, calm and composed, taking in the crowd reaction. It’s respectful—supportive—but not overwhelming.

Sam Duffy:
“Dixie Caverns has quietly built momentum over the past several weeks, and tonight is a big opportunity for her.”

Rick Granger:
“She’s tough, Sam. No question about that. But tonight… she’s stepping in with one of the most popular—and dangerous—competitors in HCW.”

Dixie makes her way down the ramp with purpose, giving a quick nod to fans along the way. She steps into the ring, focused, loosening up in the corner as she prepares.

The lights cut out.

A low rumble builds—

Then— “KORBI KONG SMASH!”

A surge of energy explodes through the arena as bright gold and white lights burst across the stage.

“Crown the Storm” by Titan Vibe Syndicate blares from the loudspeakes.

The crowd erupts.

Korbi Kong steps out with confidence, feeding off the reaction—smiling, energized, completely in control of the moment.

Sam Duffy:
“Listen to this crowd! Korbi Kong has become one of the most beloved stars in HCW!”

Rick Granger:
“And she knows it. That confidence? That presence? That’s what makes her so dangerous.”

Korbi makes her way down the ramp, interacting with fans, slapping hands, then turning her focus toward the ring.

She steps onto the apron, pauses, then enters—eyes locked on Dixie.

The energy shifts from celebration to competition.

Sam Duffy:
“This crowd is firmly behind Korbi Kong—but Dixie Caverns is not someone you overlook.”

Rick Granger:
“She better not. Because if she does, this could turn into a long night real quick.”

The bell rings and Korbi comes out fast, immediately taking control with a flying dropkick that sends Dixie backward. She follows it up by locking in an arm triangle, forcing Dixie to struggle early.

Sam Duffy:
“Korbi Kong wasting no time here!”

Korbi keeps the pressure on with a running clothesline and stiff forearm uppercuts, dictating the pace and forcing Dixie onto the defensive.

Dixie finally finds an opening with a well-timed elbow drop, slowing Korbi down just enough to regain her footing.

Rick Granger:
“That’s what she needed—just something to stop the momentum.”

Korbi answers quickly, launching into a mile-high flying elbow drop that brings the crowd back to life. The control swings again as she continues to press the advantage.

Dixie refuses to fade. She battles back with leg sweeps, elbow drops, and a spinning heel kick that connects clean, shifting momentum and bringing the crowd into the exchange.

Sam Duffy:
“Dixie Caverns not backing down one bit!”

The match turns into a steady back-and-forth, with both women trading control—Dixie landing a facebuster and “The Candy Dish,” while Korbi responds with power moves and submission attempts to wear her down.

Late in the match, both competitors are feeling the effects. Dixie presses forward with another flurry—leg sweep, spinning heel kick—trying to put Korbi away.

But Korbi absorbs it.

Regroups.

And fires back.

A diving forearm connects.

Dixie stumbles.

Korbi steps in—

SCOOP POWERSLAM!

She hooks the leg.

Sam Duffy:
“Cover!”

1… 2… 3!

RESULT:  Korbi Kong wins by pinfall

POST-MATCH – IN-RING PROMO

Korbi rises to her feet as the crowd cheers. She takes a moment, catching her breath, then motions for a microphone.

Dixie rolls to the side, recovering, as Korbi stands center ring.

Korbi Kong:
“Dixie… you brought it tonight.”

She nods respectfully toward Dixie.

Korbi Kong (cont.):
“But I didn’t come out here just to win matches.”

The tone shifts slightly—more focused.

Korbi Kong:
“I came out here to make something very clear.”

Crowd quiets, listening.

Korbi Kong (cont.):
“I’ve been watching… waiting… and now?”

She points toward the camera.

Korbi Kong:
“I’m done waiting.”

Crowd reacts.

Korbi Kong (cont.):
“The Heritage Women’s Championship—”

Beat.

Korbi Kong:
“I’m coming for it.”

The crowd erupts.

Sam Duffy:
“There it is! Korbi Kong has made her intentions crystal clear!”

Rick Granger:
“And if I’m the champion, I’m paying very close attention right now.”

Korbi raises a hand, pointing forward with confidence as her music hits again.

She drops the mic and leaves the ring heading to the back.  She slaps hands with the fans and then disappears behind the curtain.

The arena lights burst into bright, colorful energy as an upbeat, funky rhythm hits.

“Flex Appeal” by The Bulk Movement plays.

The crowd pops as Muscles McGuire, Muscles Weasley, and Muscles Thorpe bounce onto the stage, clapping, hyping each other up with exaggerated energy.

Sam Duffy:
“Here come the Muscles Trio, and you can always count on them to bring the energy!”

Rick Granger:
“Yeah, yeah, they’re entertaining, Sam—but tonight might not be the night for jokes.”

The Trio play to the crowd—flexing, pointing, getting fans involved—before marching down the ramp together in rhythm.

They slide into the ring, continuing the antics briefly, then settle into their corner, still smiling—but ready.

The lights cut instantly to black.

The music doesn’t hit right away.

Instead—

A low, hollow tone begins to echo through the arena.

Then—

A faint white glowing fist appears at the top of the stage.

A white hand with fire in a circle

AI-generated content may be incorrect.

“White Flame Litany” by The Veiled Choir plays.

The crowd quiets.

Elyra Moane emerges first—slow, deliberate, her presence calm but commanding.

Behind her—

The Mirror Saints step forward in unison.

And then—

Ashen Vicar appears.

Still.

Silent.

Head slightly bowed.

Sam Duffy (lowered tone):
“There is something… very different about this group.”

Rick Granger:
“I don’t like this, Sam. Not one bit.”

Vicar slowly raises his head.

Eyes forward.

Unblinking.

The group begins their descent down the ramp—no wasted movement, no acknowledgment of the crowd.

Just purpose.

They reach the ring. Elyra remains at ringside.

The Mirror Saints enter first, taking their positions.

Vicar steps onto the apron… pauses… then enters through the ropes with deliberate precision.

The energy in the arena has completely shifted.

Sam Duffy:
“This feels less like a match… and more like something else entirely.”

Rick Granger:
“Yeah… and I don’t think the Muscles Trio realize what they’re standing across from.”

The Muscles Trio try to keep their usual energy, clapping and hyping each other up as the bell rings—but it quickly fades as the Mirror Saints step forward in perfect unison.

Ashen Vicar remains still in the corner… watching.

The match is about to begin.

The bell rings and all six men immediately collide in the center of the ring, with both teams unloading offense in a chaotic opening exchange. The Muscles Trio bring their usual high energy, but Ashen Vicar and the Mirror Saints respond with tight, coordinated strikes that quickly turn the momentum.

Ashen Vicar takes control early, dropping Muscles McGuire with a devastating Pale Revelation, while Sorin Savax and Vael Thorne follow up with heavy impact offense to keep McGuire grounded.

Sam Duffy:
“This is a fast start, and it’s not in favor of the Muscles Trio!”

The Muscles Trio fire back with quick combinations—McGuire lands a jumping double leg, Thorpe follows with a turnbuckle thrust, and Weasley adds outside interference to briefly even things out.

The momentum doesn’t last.

The Mirror Saints regroup and immediately isolate McGuire again, cutting off any chance of a sustained comeback. Vicar re-enters and delivers the White Flame Purge, followed by a coordinated sequence from Savax and Thorne that overwhelms McGuire.

Rick Granger:
“They’re not giving him any room to breathe, Sam. This is completely one-sided right now.”

McGuire manages to create small openings with a hurricanrana and a corner whip, but every attempt to build momentum is quickly shut down by Vicar’s side, who continue to dictate the pace with precision offense.

Another all-in sequence breaks out as all six competitors briefly engage again, but the result is the same—Vicar and the Saints regain control and wear McGuire down further.

Vicar steps back in and lands Fall of the Faithless, driving McGuire hard into the mat.

He makes the cover.

Sam Duffy:
“This could be it!”

1… 2… 3!

RESULT:  Ashen Vicar & The Mirror Saints win by pinfall

Ashen Vicar rises to his feet as the Mirror Saints stand behind him. Elyra Moane watches from ringside, expression unchanged.

A microphone is handed to Vicar.

Ashen Vicar:
“There are those who mistake noise for strength.”

He looks out across the arena.

Ashen Vicar (cont.):
“They believe volume is power.”

A brief pause.

Ashen Vicar:
“They are wrong.”

The Mirror Saints step slightly closer behind him.

Ashen Vicar:
“Power is clarity.”

Ashen Vicar (cont.):
“And clarity demands purification.”

He lowers his voice slightly.

Ashen Vicar:
“There are two paths before this company.”

A short pause.

Ashen Vicar (cont.):
“One built on illusion… and one forged in the White Flame.”

He lowers the microphone.

Ashen Vicar:
“There will not be room for both.”

Sam Duffy:
“That didn’t feel like a normal challenge.”

Rick Granger:
“No… that felt like something much bigger.”

Larry Morton interviews Count Vlad

Camera cuts backstage to Larry Morton, standing in a dimly lit corridor. The atmosphere is noticeably colder than earlier segments.

Standing beside him—

Count Vlad.

Composed. Hands folded behind his back. Expression unreadable.

Larry Morton:
“I’m here with Count Vlad. Moments ago, Ashen Vicar issued what many would interpret as a warning—perhaps even a challenge—to the Dark Dominion.”

Vlad does not react immediately.

A slow breath.

A faint smile.

Larry Morton (cont.):
“Your response?”

Vlad turns his head slightly toward Larry, then slowly back toward the camera.

Count Vlad:
“Response?”

A soft chuckle escapes him.

Count Vlad (cont.):
“Mr. Morton… men like Ashen Vicar have existed for centuries.”

He takes a small step forward.

Count Vlad:
“They arrive cloaked in conviction… convinced that they have discovered something new.”

A slight tilt of the head.

Count Vlad:
“They speak of purity.”

A pause.

Count Vlad (cont.):
“They speak of truth.”

His expression tightens—just slightly.

Count Vlad:
“And then…”

Beat.

Count Vlad (cont.):
“They disappear.”

Larry shifts slightly, sensing the tone.

Larry Morton:
“So you don’t view this as a threat?”

Vlad turns fully now, locking eyes with Larry.

Count Vlad:
“A threat… implies uncertainty.”

A faint smile returns.

Count Vlad (cont.):
“I do not deal in uncertainty.”

He steps closer—just enough to command the frame.

Count Vlad:
“Control is not something that is challenged…”

A brief pause.

Count Vlad (cont.):
“It is something that is possessed.”

Silence hangs for a moment.

Larry Morton:
“And the Dark Dominion still believes it possesses that control?”

Vlad’s eyes narrow slightly—amused more than offended.

Count Vlad:
“Belief… is for those who require reassurance.”

A beat.

Count Vlad (cont.):
“I require nothing.”

He straightens his jacket.

Count Vlad:
“The board remains exactly as I have arranged it.”

Vlad glances past the camera—already finished with the conversation.

Count Vlad (final):
“And when the time comes…”

A slight smirk.

Count Vlad:
“I will decide who is allowed to remain on it.”

Vlad turns and walks out of frame without another word.

Larry watches him go, then turns back to the camera.

Larry Morton:
“Count Vlad… confident as ever.”

BACK TO COMMENTARY

Sam Duffy:
“Well, if there was any doubt about how Vlad sees this situation—that just answered it.”

Rick Granger:
“He doesn’t think this is a fight, Sam. He thinks it’s already decided.”

Sam Duffy:
“But after what we just saw… I’m not so sure everyone agrees.”

The arena lights shift as energetic music hits.

“Shine Through” by Neon Hearts plays and the crowd reacts as Sparkle heads to the ring—but her usual energy is replaced with clear frustration.

She grabs a microphone immediately.

Sam Duffy:
“You can tell—Sparkle is not happy about what happened earlier.”

Sparkle paces once, then stops center ring.

Sparkle:
“Three minutes.”

The crowd murmurs.

Sparkle (cont.):
“That’s all it took.”

She shakes her head.

Sparkle:
“Not because the Tinsel Twins weren’t ready… not because they weren’t good enough…”

She points toward the entrance.

Sparkle (firm):
“But because the Iron Maidens don’t fight fair.”

Crowd reacts.

Sparkle (cont.):
“You call that a title defense?”

Beat.

Sparkle:
“I call it a setup.”

Rick Granger:
“She’s not holding anything back here.”

Sparkle steps forward, voice sharper now.

Sparkle:
“If you’re champions… then act like it.”

She raises the mic slightly.

Sparkle (loud):
“Selena. Talia. Get out here.”

The lights dim.

A darker tone fills the arena.

“Venom Crown” by Black Veil Requiem plays and the crowd reacts as Selena Blackfang steps onto the stage, one half of the Iron Maidens Tag Team Champions. The title rests over her shoulder.

Talia does not accompany her.

Sam Duffy:
“Interesting… Selena coming out alone.”

Rick Granger:
“She doesn’t look like she needs backup.”

Selena walks to the ring slowly, composed, completely unfazed.

She steps through the ropes and stands across from Sparkle.

A faint smirk.

Selena Blackfang:
“You seem upset.”

Sparkle doesn’t hesitate.

Sparkle:
“Upset? No.”

She steps closer.

Sparkle (cont.):
“I’m tired of watching you hide behind cheap wins and calling it dominance.”

Crowd reacts.

Selena tilts her head slightly, amused.

Selena Blackfang:
“Hide?”

A soft laugh.

Selena (cont.):
“We won.”

Beat.

Selena:
“And we’re still champions.”

Sparkle:
“Then prove it.”

She points at the mat.

Sparkle (firm):
“Right now.”

The crowd pops.

Sam Duffy:
“Oh, she wants it tonight!”

Selena pauses.

Looks around the arena.

Then back at Sparkle.

Selena Blackfang:
“You don’t get to demand anything from me.”

She steps closer—voice lower, colder.

Selena (cont.):
“You earn it… or you suffer for it.”

A brief pause.

Then—

A small smile.

Selena Blackfang:
“But since you’re so eager…”

She raises the mic slightly.

Selena (cont.):
“You’ll have your match.”

Crowd reacts.

Sparkle nods immediately.

Selena Blackfang (final):
“Just not tonight.”

The crowd groans.

Rick Granger:
“There it is.”

Selena Blackfang:
“Next week.”

A beat.

Selena (cold):
“On Voltage.”

Sparkle doesn’t back down.

Sparkle:
“Good.”

The two stand face-to-face.

No contact.

No cheap shot.

Just tension.

BACK TO COMMENTARY

Sam Duffy:
“Sparkle is getting her opportunity—but she’s going to have to wait one more week!”

Rick Granger:
“And if she thinks tonight was bad… just wait until next week.”

Selena slowly backs toward the ropes, never taking her eyes off Sparkle as her music hits.

Sparkle remains in the ring, focused, ready.

The arena lights dim into a warm amber glow as a slow, gritty guitar riff plays.

“Dead Man’s Ledger” by Iron Hollow plays as the crowd gives a strong, supportive reaction as The Bounty Hunter Jake Montrose steps onto the stage.

He pauses.

Scans the arena.

Not for show—out of instinct.

Sam Duffy:
“Jake Montrose is a man who doesn’t say much—but when he steps into that ring, he lets his actions speak for him.”

Rick Granger:
“And that’s exactly why this crowd respects him. No nonsense, no shortcuts—just business.”

Montrose makes his way down the ramp with calm purpose, acknowledging a few fans with a nod, but never breaking focus.

He reaches ringside, removes his hat, and steps into the ring with quiet confidence.

He places the hat in the corner, rolls his shoulders, and locks his eyes toward the entrance.

The lights abruptly flicker—then blast into harsh red and white flashes.

A distorted siren wails.

“Red, White & Conspiracy” by Liberty Recoil hits and the crowd immediately turns, booing as Col. Samuel Flagg storms onto the stage.

He stops mid-step.

Squints into the crowd.

Points aggressively.

Col. Samuel Flagg:
“You think I don’t see you?!”

He pivots suddenly—pointing in the opposite direction.

Col. Samuel Flagg (cont.):
“You’re all in on it!”

Sam Duffy:
“Flagg already convinced this entire arena is part of some kind of operation.”

Rick Granger:
“He doesn’t trust anybody, Sam—and that includes the referee, the crowd, probably his own shadow!”

Flagg marches down the ramp in uneven bursts—stopping to glare at fans, muttering to himself, then snapping forward again.

He slides into the ring, immediately pointing at Montrose.

Col. Samuel Flagg:
“I know what you are!”

Montrose doesn’t react—just watches him calmly.

Flagg climbs the turnbuckle, shouting out again.

Col. Samuel Flagg:
“This facility is compromised!”

The crowd boos louder.

Sam Duffy:
“Jake Montrose is going to have to stay focused—because Flagg is already trying to turn this into something completely different.”

Rick Granger:
“Yeah, but Montrose isn’t the kind of guy who gets rattled. He’s going to let Flagg burn himself out.”

Flagg continues pacing and pointing as the referee calls for the bell.

Montrose stands ready—calm, focused.

The match is underway.

The bell rings and Jake Montrose immediately takes control, dragging Flagg outside and slamming him onto the concrete to set a hard early tone. Flagg scrambles back into the ring, already looking rattled and scanning the crowd as if something isn’t right.

Sam Duffy:
“Montrose wasting no time—he wants this on his terms right away!”

Flagg answers quickly once back inside, snapping into a backbreaker and trying to ground Montrose, even attempting to wear him down with sustained pressure.

The match settles into an uneven rhythm—Montrose keeps things steady and methodical, while Flagg swings between bursts of offense and erratic aggression, stomping, striking, and constantly looking over his shoulder.

Rick Granger:
“He’s fighting Montrose—and whatever he thinks is happening in his head at the same time!”

Montrose regains control in spurts, landing forearms, driving Flagg into the turnbuckle, and keeping him from fully dictating the pace. But every time Montrose builds momentum, Flagg cuts him off with something unorthodox—headbutts, stomps, and sudden counters.

Flagg begins to string together offense—short-arm clotheslines, repeated stomps, and quick pin attempts—forcing Montrose to fight from underneath.

Sam Duffy:
“Montrose has had to kick out more than once here—Flagg is staying on him!”

Late in the match, both men exchange control again. Montrose fires back with a headbutt drop and begins to regain momentum, while Flagg answers with a dropkick and another quick cover.

Montrose kicks out once.

But Flagg doesn’t hesitate.

Another opening—

Another dropkick connects clean.

Flagg hooks the leg…and the tights!

1… 2… 3!

RESULT:  Col. Samuel Flagg wins by pinfall

Flagg pops up immediately, looking around wildly before pointing into the crowd again.

Col. Samuel Flagg:
“I TOLD YOU! I TOLD ALL OF YOU!”

The crowd boos as he paces in circles, completely convinced of something only he understands.

Montrose rolls to the side, frustrated but composed, shaking his head as he pushes himself back up.

Rick Granger:
“I don’t even know if Flagg knows how he won—but he’ll take it!”

Flagg climbs the turnbuckle, shouting and pointing as if he’s just exposed a conspiracy, while Montrose exits the ring, regrouping after a hard-fought loss.

Sam Duffy:
“An unusual victory for Col. Samuel Flagg—but a victory nonetheless here tonight on Voltage.”

Camera cuts backstage to Larry Morton, standing in front of an HCW backdrop.

Beside him—

Zack “Commando” Brown, the HCW World Champion, title over his shoulder.

Focused. Composed. Ready.

Larry Morton:
“I’m standing by with the HCW World Champion, Zack ‘Commando’ Brown. Zack, in just a few moments, you defend your title against Sterling Silverman in tonight’s main event.”

Zack nods once, calm and locked in.

Larry Morton (cont.):
“You’ve been in high-pressure situations before—but tonight feels different. What’s your mindset going into this match?”

Zack Brown:
“My mindset’s always the same.”

He adjusts the title slightly on his shoulder.

Zack Brown (cont.):
“I show up. I do the job. I walk out with this.”

He taps the championship.

Larry Morton:
“Sterling Silverman has been building momentum, and many believe this could be his moment. How do you approach a challenger like that?”

Zack Brown:
“You don’t overlook him.”

Simple. Direct.

Zack Brown (cont.):
“Sterling’s earned his shot. That means I treat him like a threat.”

A small pause.

Zack Brown:
“But earning a shot… and finishing the job?”

He shakes his head slightly.

Zack Brown (cont.):
“Those are two different things.”

Larry nods, then shifts slightly.

Larry Morton:
“Earlier tonight, we’ve seen tension building across HCW—Dominion asserting control, new challengers emerging… does any of that factor into your focus tonight?”

Zack pauses for the first time.

Not shaken.

But thinking.

Zack Brown:
“I’ve been around long enough to know when things are shifting.”

A subtle change in tone—still calm, but heavier.

Zack Brown (cont.):
“You can feel it.”

Beat.

Zack Brown:
“But that’s not my problem tonight.”

He looks directly into the camera now.

Zack Brown:
“My problem is standing across that ring from Sterling Silverman.”

A small pause.

Zack Brown (cont.):
“And making sure this stays right where it belongs.”

He taps the title again.

Larry Morton:
“Zack Brown—ready for the main event.”

Zack gives a final nod and walks off, focused and composed.

Larry turns back toward the camera.

Larry Morton:
“The champion looks ready—but as we’ve seen tonight, nothing in HCW is ever guaranteed.”

BACK TO COMMENTARY

Sam Duffy:
“A focused champion heading into what could be one of the biggest matches of Sterling Silverman’s career.”

Rick Granger:
“And if Sterling wants that title, he’s going to have to take it from a man who doesn’t make mistakes.”

Sam Duffy:
“It’s time for our main event!”

The arena lights dim into a sleek, polished silver glow as a sharp, refined instrumental hits.

“Platinum Standard” by Crown & Capital plays and the crowd immediately boos as Sterling Silverman steps onto the stage, dressed to impress, carrying himself with absolute confidence.

He pauses at the top of the ramp… adjusts his cuffs… and smirks.

Sam Duffy:
“And here comes the challenger—Sterling Silverman—who believes tonight is the night he finally reaches the top of HCW.”

Rick Granger:
“He doesn’t believe it, Sam—he expects it. That’s the difference.”

Sterling slowly makes his way down the ramp, soaking in the negative reaction like it’s applause.

He stops halfway, straightens his posture, and gestures toward himself with a smug grin.

At ringside, he takes his time walking the steps, wiping his boots carefully before entering the ring.

He calls for a microphone—but instead is handed center stage as Tony Calibur steps forward.

Tony Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen… the following contest is scheduled for one fall… and it is for the HCW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!

The crowd erupts.

Tony Calibur (cont.):
“Introducing first… the challenger…”

Boos grow louder.

Tony Calibur:
“From the world of wealth, power, and privilege…”

Sterling raises his arms slightly, soaking it in.

Tony Calibur (cont.):
“Weighing in at 225 pounds…”

Beat.

Tony Calibur (loud):
“STERLING… SILVERMAN!”

Sterling gives a slow, arrogant nod, brushing imaginary dust off his shoulder as the boos continue.

The lights cut—

Then explode into red, white, and blue as a powerful, driving beat hits.

“No Retreat” by Iron Valor hits and the crowd erupts.

Zack “Commando” Brown steps onto the stage, the HCW World Championship over his shoulder, focused and locked in.

No posing.

No theatrics.

Just purpose.

Sam Duffy:
“And here comes the champion! Zack ‘Commando’ Brown has built his reign on discipline, toughness, and consistency!”

Rick Granger:
“And tonight, Sam, he’s facing a challenger who thinks he’s already better than him.”

Zack walks straight down the ramp, eyes locked on the ring—and on Sterling.

He doesn’t acknowledge the crowd much—just a few nods as he stays mentally locked in.

At ringside, he steps up onto the apron, pauses briefly, then enters the ring and hands the title to the referee.

Tony Calibur:
“And his opponent…”

Huge crowd reaction.

Tony Calibur (cont.):
“From Fort Bragg…”

Zack stands steady, eyes forward.

Tony Calibur:
“Weighing in at 240 pounds…”

Beat.

Tony Calibur (loud):
“He is the reigning… defending… HCW WORLD CHAMPION…”

Crowd rises

Tony Calibur:
“ZACK… ‘COMMANDO’… BROWN!”

The crowd erupts as Zack raises the title briefly—then hands it back off, immediately locking his focus back onto Sterling.

The referee holds the championship up in the center of the ring.

Both men stare each other down.

Sam Duffy:
“It all comes down to this!”

Rick Granger:
“One title… one winner… and no excuses!”

The referee calls for the bell.

The bell rings and Sterling Silverman comes out aggressive, immediately taking control with a Silicon Slam that catches the champion off guard.

Sam Duffy:
“Sterling wasting no time—he knows how big this opportunity is!”

Zack answers quickly, firing back with a Lawman Lariat and keeping the match competitive early, but Sterling continues to match him step-for-step, landing a Stock Market Crash piledriver that shifts momentum firmly in his favor.

The two trade control through the opening stretch—Zack using power with the Bossman Slam and Paratrooper Plunge, while Sterling answers with sharp, calculated offense to keep the champion from pulling away.

Rick Granger:
“This is exactly what Sterling wanted—a fight on his terms!”

As the match progresses, Zack begins to take over, landing repeated lariats and driving Sterling back with authority. The champion builds momentum, looking to close in on a decisive finish.

Sam Duffy:
“The champion is starting to take control here!”

But Sterling creates separation—catching Zack and sending him hard through the ropes to the outside.

Zack hits the floor.

Then—

The lights flicker.

Subtle.

Deliberate.

And from ringside—

Hell’s Fang… The Morningstar… emerges.

No mystery.

No hesitation.

Rick Granger:
“That’s the Morningstar! That’s Hell’s Fang!”

Before Zack can react—

The Morningstar drives into him, slamming him violently into the barricade.

The crowd erupts.

Sterling watches from the ring—but keeps the ref distracted while the attack is going on.

Morningstar continues:

  • Driving Zack into the ring post
  • A crushing strike that drops him to the floor

Cold. Efficient. Intentional.

The Morningstar disappears back into the crowd as the referee turns around, unaware, and begins the count.

1… 2… 3…

Zack starts to rise—

5… 6… 7…

Zack tries to pull himself up—

He can’t.

8… 9… 10!

RESULT:  Sterling Silverman wins by count-out

The bell rings.

Sterling throws his arms up immediately.

Celebrating.

Calling for the title.

Sam Duffy:
“Sterling Silverman wins the match!”

Sterling drops to a knee, pointing to himself, shouting toward the referee.

He demands the championship.

But the referee doesn’t hand it over.

Rick Granger:
“Wait a second…”

Sterling stands—confused.

Sam Duffy:
“The title doesn’t change hands on a count-out!”

The realization hits.

Hard.

Sterling’s expression shifts from triumph… to anger.

Sterling Silverman:
“No! That’s mine—I won!”

He argues with the referee, growing more frustrated by the second.

Meanwhile—

Morningstar stands in the sea of fans.

Zack is down.

And now—

The camera shifts to the stage.

Count Vlad stands at the top of the ramp.

Watching.

Calm.

Unbothered.

Rick Granger:
“And now look at this… Vlad didn’t need to say a word.”

Sterling finally notices.

The celebration is gone.

Now there’s hesitation.

Because this moment—

Was never about him.

Sam Duffy (lower tone):
“The Dark Dominion just made its presence felt in the main event.”

Rick Granger:
“And if that’s their message… it just shook the entire landscape of HCW.”

Camera lingers on Vlad on stage… then the Morningstar in the crowd… and then the fallen champion.

Camera returns to commentary as officials begin checking on Zack “Commando” Brown at ringside.

Sam Duffy:
“Zack Brown retains the HCW World Championship—but not the way anyone expected.”

Rick Granger:
“No, and I don’t think anyone’s talking about the result anymore, Sam. The Dark Dominion just sent a message in the biggest moment of the night.”

Sam Duffy:
“Sterling Silverman won this match… but he walks away without the title.”

Rick Granger:
“And now he’s got to be asking himself—was it worth it?”

Camera cuts to Sterling, still arguing, clearly shaken that the title isn’t his.

Cut back to Zack, slowly being helped up by officials.

Sam Duffy (lower tone):
“But the bigger question now… what does this mean for the champion?”

Rick Granger:
“If Hell’s Fang is coming for him… it’s not about wins and losses anymore.”

Camera shifts one final time—

Count Vlad on the stage.

A faint smirk.

Then—

Morningstar at ringside.

Standing still.

Watching.

Sam Duffy:
“For Rick Granger, I’m Sam Duffy… and we’ll see you next time on HCW Voltage.”

Rick Granger:
“If Zack Brown is still standing.”

Fade to black.
