The camera
sweeps across a packed arena as bright orange and silver lights flash across
the stage. The HCW Voltage logo pulses across the giant screen while the
crowd roars with anticipation.
Pyro
erupts along the entrance ramp as the theme music hits.
The camera
cuts to the commentary desk where Sam Duffy and Rick Granger sit
ringside.
Sam
Duffy:
“Hello
wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling
Newsletter! Tonight we are coming to you live for HCW Voltage, and what
a night we have in store!”
Rick
Granger:
“You’re
not kidding, Sam. Championship implications all over this show tonight. We’ve
got contenders being decided, egos clashing, and by the end of the night
someone may walk out with the Convergent Championship.”
Sam
Duffy:
“That’s
right! In our main event, Abraham Van Helsing defends the Convergent
Championship against the arrogant and dangerous Mr. X. Two of the
most calculating competitors in HCW will collide, and the stakes could not be
higher.”
Rick
Granger:
“And if
that wasn’t enough, we’ll also determine the number one contender to the
Hardcore Championship when Bruiser McPugg takes on Rex Rampage.
The winner gets a shot at Jax ‘The Alaskan Wildman’ Brenner on March
14th at Live Wire.”
Sam
Duffy:
“We’ll
also see Steel Justice in tag team action tonight as they face the
New Sicilians in a non-title match, and later we determine the number
one contender for the Television Championship when Biceps Bannerman
battles Otto Ruthless—with the champion, The Rich Athlete,
scouting the match.”
Rick
Granger:
“You want
opportunity in HCW, Sam? Tonight’s the night to grab it.”
Sam
Duffy:
“And we’re
kicking things off with tag team action in the women’s division! Phoenix
Blaze and Luna Shadow take on Chloe Parker and Dixie Caverns!”
Rick
Granger:
“Fast
start to the night. Let’s see who makes the first statement.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Voltage
starts right now!”
The camera
cuts toward the entrance ramp as the arena lights shift and the competitors
prepare to make their entrances.
A
confident, bass-driven beat fills the arena as Chloe Parker steps out
onto the stage, smirking toward the crowd. She pauses at the top of the ramp,
brushing her hair back with exaggerated confidence.
Moments
later, Dixie Caverns joins her, throwing her arms out wide as if soaking
in the reaction from the crowd.
Some fans
cheer, others boo playfully as the two women lean into the role of antagonists
for the evening.
Sam
Duffy:
“And here
come Chloe Parker and Dixie Caverns to start things off tonight on Voltage!”
Rick
Granger:
“You said
it earlier, Sam—both teams may be popular with this crowd, but somebody’s gotta
play the villains tonight. And I think Chloe and Dixie are more than happy to
do it.”
Chloe
gestures mockingly toward the audience while Dixie points toward the ring,
nodding confidently.
The pair
walk down the ramp with swagger before sliding into the ring.
Chloe
climbs the turnbuckle and strikes a confident pose while Dixie stretches
against the ropes, ready for action.
Their
music fades as the lights shift again.
The arena
suddenly erupts with a burst of fiery orange light.
Flames
burst across the screen as Phoenix Blaze charges onto the stage, raising
her arms as the crowd cheers loudly.
A second
spotlight hits the stage as Luna Shadow emerges behind her, calm and
composed, her eyes scanning the ring with quiet focus.
Sam
Duffy:
“Listen to
this reaction! Phoenix Blaze and Luna Shadow have quickly become one of the
most exciting combinations in the women’s division!”
Rick
Granger:
“They’re
an interesting team, Sam. Phoenix brings the explosive offense, and Luna Shadow
brings the strategy.”
Phoenix
points toward the ring while Luna gives a confident nod.
The two
sprint down the ramp and slide into the ring together.
Phoenix
climbs the turnbuckle and throws her arms into the air as the crowd roars,
while Luna calmly removes her entrance jacket and prepares for the match.
Across the
ring, Chloe Parker and Dixie Caverns exchange confident glances as both teams
square up.
The
referee steps between them and signals for the bell.
Phoenix
Blaze and Luna Shadow came out with urgency, while Chloe Parker and Dixie
Caverns leaned into a more aggressive edge from the opening bell. The match
broke down almost immediately into a four-woman scramble, with all four
competitors storming the ring at once and unloading with a burst of offense
that set the tone for the rest of the contest. Chloe and Dixie tried to bully
the pace and steal advantages through quick tags and tandem attacks, but
Phoenix and Luna answered with speed, athleticism, and crisp teamwork of their
own.
Sam
Duffy:
“Fast start here, and nobody’s waiting around tonight!”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s what I like, Sam. No feeling-out process, just get in there and fight.”
As the
match settled, Phoenix Blaze became the engine for her team, repeatedly firing
back with suplexes, strikes, and explosive counters whenever Chloe or Dixie
threatened to take over. Dixie Caverns, however, proved she was more than
willing to trade momentum shot for shot, using her own hard-hitting offense and
well-timed double-team setups with Chloe Parker to keep Luna Shadow isolated
whenever the opening presented itself. Chloe, meanwhile, brought a smug edge to
the match, constantly inserting herself at the right moments to disrupt any
rhythm Phoenix and Luna were building.
Luna
Shadow eventually helped swing the match back with a strong run of offense,
using her power and signature impact moves to halt Dixie’s momentum and create
space for her team. From there, the action turned into a back-and-forth sprint,
with both teams finding near-falls, counters, and timely tags. Phoenix nearly
put Chloe Parker away late after a beautiful Eclipse, but Chloe managed to
survive, and the frustration on both sides only made the pace more frantic down
the stretch.
Sam
Duffy:
“Phoenix Blaze is turning up the heat now, and Chloe Parker is hanging on by a
thread!”
Rick
Granger:
“You give Chloe Parker credit there, Sam. She got rocked, but she didn’t fold.”
In the
final stretch, Chloe Parker and Dixie Caverns tried one last desperate
double-team attack to steal the match, but Phoenix Blaze kept fighting through
it and answered with another burst of offense that had the crowd fully behind
her. Even so, neither side could find the decisive finish before time expired,
and the referee was forced to call the match a draw after a hard-fought, evenly
matched battle that left all four women looking strong.
Sam
Duffy:
“What a fight to open HCW Voltage! These teams threw everything they had at one
another, and still neither side could put the other away!”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s the kind of draw I can live with, Sam. Nobody backed down, nobody got
embarrassed, and all four women just made a statement.”
The camera
returns to ringside where Sam Duffy and Rick Granger sit at the
commentary desk, the crowd still buzzing after the opening match.
Sam
Duffy:
“An incredible opening contest here on HCW Voltage! Phoenix Blaze and Luna
Shadow battling Chloe Parker and Dixie Caverns to a hard-fought draw. Nobody
could gain the upper hand, and the clock simply ran out.”
Rick
Granger:
“And that’s the worst kind of draw, Sam. Both teams think they should’ve won,
and now they’re walking away frustrated.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Well folks, our main event later tonight will see the Convergent Championship
on the line when Abraham Van Helsing defends against the arrogant and dangerous
Mr. X.”
Rick leans
forward slightly.
Rick
Granger:
“And I’m sure Mr. X already thinks he’s got that match won.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Well let’s hear from the challenger himself. Standing by backstage is Larry
Morton.”
Backstage
Interview – Mr. X
The scene
cuts to the backstage interview area.
Larry
Morton stands
beside Mr. X, who already looks irritated to be there. Mr. X leans
against a production crate, arms crossed with a smug expression.
Larry
Morton:
“Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is Mr. X. Tonight you
challenge Abraham Van Helsing for the Convergent Championship in our main
event.”
Mr. X lets
out a short, sarcastic laugh.
Mr. X:
“Yeah. I’m aware.”
Larry
maintains his professional composure.
Larry
Morton:
“Van Helsing has built quite a reputation since arriving in HCW. Many believe
he may be the toughest opponent you've faced here.”
Mr. X
scoffs.
Mr. X:
“Many people also believe reality TV is real.”
He shrugs.
Mr. X:
“Look… Van Helsing’s good. I’ll give him that.”
A smug
grin spreads across his face.
“But
everyone in this company keeps acting like he’s some kind of unstoppable
monster.”
Mr. X
shakes his head dismissively.
“He’s
not.”
Larry
Morton:
“So you’re not intimidated by him at all?”
Mr. X
laughs again.
Mr. X:
“Intimidated?”
He leans
closer to the camera.
“I’ve
spent my entire career beating guys who thought they were the next big thing.”
He
straightens up.
“Tonight’s
just another name on the list.”
Mr. X
starts to walk away, then stops and looks back.
Mr. X:
“Oh… and Larry?”
Larry
turns slightly. Mr. X smirks.
“You might
want to stick around for the end of the match.”
A beat.
“That’s
when I take his belt.”
Mr. X
walks off, completely confident.
Larry
Morton watches him leave, then turns back toward the camera.
The
broadcast cuts back toward the arena.
The camera
returns to the arena as the crowd settles back into their seats.
Sam
Duffy:
“Ladies and gentlemen, still to come tonight our main event for the Convergent
Championship when Abraham Van Helsing defends against the very confident Mr.
X.”
Rick
Granger:
“And after hearing Mr. X earlier, Sam, confidence might be the nicest word I
can use for that guy.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Well up next we’ve got tag team action as the Heritage Tag Team Champions
Steel Justice step into a non-title match against the dangerous duo of Dirty
Dick Albano and Vicious Vinnie Albano… The New Sicilians.”
The lights
dim slightly.
A sharp,
sinister trumpet riff echoes through the arena.
“Family
Business” by Il Ducato Nero
Boos
immediately begin raining down from the crowd.
Pierre
Boulay appears first at the top of the stage, dressed impeccably in a dark
tailored suit, slowly adjusting his cuffs with smug confidence.
Moments
later Dirty Dick Albano and Vicious Vinnie Albano step out behind
him, both wearing black track jackets with red trim and the Albano family crest
across the back.
They pause
at the top of the ramp as Pierre gestures grandly toward the ring like a proud
promoter presenting his prized fighters.
Rick
Granger:
“There they are, Sam. The Albano family muscle.”
Sam
Duffy:
“And you can bet Pierre Boulay has something planned tonight. That man never
accompanies his team to ringside without a reason.”
The trio
make their way down the ramp slowly, soaking in the boos from the crowd. Vinnie
mockingly blows kisses toward the audience while Dirty Dick cracks his
knuckles.
Pierre
walks ahead of them, pointing toward the ring as if issuing instructions to
generals before battle.
The New
Sicilians climb into the ring, pacing confidently while Pierre takes his
position outside, calmly observing.
The arena
lights suddenly flash bright silver.
A powerful
guitar riff erupts through the building.
“Wings
of Justice” by Iron Talon
The crowd
erupts.
Alex
“Skyhawk” Justice
bursts onto the stage first, throwing both arms up as sparks shoot from the
stage edges.
Seconds
later Kellyn “The Raven Archer” Chrisari walks out beside him, focused
and intense.
Sam
Duffy:
“And here come the Heritage Tag Team Champions! Steel Justice!”
Rick
Granger:
“I’ll say this, Sam — if the Albano boys were hoping to intimidate somebody
tonight, they picked the wrong team.”
The two
pause at the stage, pointing toward the ring where The New Sicilians glare back
at them.
Then they
sprint down the ramp together.
Justice
slides under the ropes while Chrisari steps through deliberately, both men
immediately squaring up with their opponents as the crowd roars.
Sam
Duffy:
“Remember folks, this is a non-title match, but you better believe a win here
for The New Sicilians could put them right in line for a championship
opportunity!”
Rick
Granger:
“And knowing Pierre Boulay, Sam, that’s exactly what he’s thinking.”
Inside the
ring, the referee begins directing the teams to their corners as the tension
builds.
The bell
is about to ring.
Referee: “Fast
Count” Frank
The bell
rings and Kellyn “The Raven Archer” Chrisari starts the match for Steel
Justice against ‘Dirty’ Dick Albano, while Alex “Skyhawk” Justice
and Vicious Vinnie Albano wait on the apron.
Albano
wastes no time establishing control, mauling Chrisari with heavy mounted
punches and driving him back into the corner with raw power.
Sam
Duffy:
“Dirty Dick Albano wasting absolutely no time here!”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s the Albano style, Sam. Hit first, hit hard, and let Pierre Boulay
handle the rest.”
Chrisari
fights his way back, using his speed to escape the corner before exploding with
Raven’s Retribution, a brutal strike combination that rocks Albano and
brings the crowd to life.
Albano
stumbles backward, clearly shaken, but the momentum swing doesn’t last long. Both men charge forward at the same time.
Chrisari
leaps into the air with Raven’s Flight Body Press—but Albano sidesteps
at the last moment and grabs him on the way down, violently slamming
Chrisari head-first into the ring post busting him open.
Chrisari
crashes to the floor outside the ring, clutching his head as the referee begins
the count.
Sam
Duffy:
“Good grief! Chrisari just got driven head-first into the steel!”
Rick
Granger:
“That post doesn’t move, Sam. And he’s busted open. That’s bad news.”
Chrisari
tries to pull himself up along the apron as the referee counts.
1…
2…
3…
Meanwhile,
behind the referee’s back, Pierre Boulay calmly approaches the fallen
Chrisari.
With cold
precision, Pierre produces a pair of handcuffs from inside his coat.
4…
5…
Chrisari
reaches for the apron—
—and
Pierre suddenly snaps the cuff around Chrisari’s wrist and locks it to the
ring post.
The crowd
erupts in boos as Chrisari struggles furiously but cannot break free.
6…
7…
Sam
Duffy:
“Wait a minute! Pierre Boulay just handcuffed Chrisari to the post!”
Rick
Granger:
“Strategic genius, Sam!”
Sam
Duffy:
“That’s not strategy—that’s sabotage!”
Inside the
ring, Albano stands calmly, pretending not to notice as the count continues.
8…
9…
10!
The
referee calls for the bell.
Result
‘Dirty’
Dick Albano defeats Kellyn “The Raven Archer” Chrisari by Count-Out
The New
Sicilians celebrate inside the ring as Pierre unlocks the cuff and casually
tosses it aside like nothing happened.
Security
rush over and unsecure him just as Alex “Skyhawk” Justice rushes around
the ring to check on his partner.
Sam
Duffy:
“This is a disgrace! Steel Justice just got robbed here tonight!”
Rick
Granger:
“You call it robbery, I call it smart management. Pierre Boulay outthought
everyone in this building.”
Inside the
ring, the New Sicilians raise their arms while Pierre Boulay applauds his own
handiwork.
Steel
Justice watches from ringside—furious—as the New Sicilians celebrate their
stolen victory.
Post-Match
Commentary
The camera
returns to the commentary desk as Steel Justice helps Kellyn “The
Raven Archer” Chrisari to his feet at ringside while The New Sicilians
and Pierre Boulay smugly retreat up the ramp.
Sam
Duffy:
“I cannot believe what we just witnessed. Pierre Boulay literally handcuffed
Kellyn Chrisari to the ring post!”
Rick
Granger:
“Sam, that’s called being prepared. Pierre Boulay came here with a plan, and it
worked perfectly.”
Sam
Duffy:
“That was blatant cheating, Rick! Steel Justice just got robbed in the middle
of this ring.”
Rick
Granger:
“You say robbed, I say strategic victory. Either way, the Albano family just
pinned a big target on themselves.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Well folks, we’re moving right along because coming up next we’ve got a huge
opportunity on the line.”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s right. The winner of this next match becomes the number one
contender to the Hardcore Championship, currently held by the Alaskan
Wildman himself—Jax Brenner.”
Sam
Duffy:
“And whoever wins tonight will challenge Jax Brenner next week on Live Wire!”
Rick
Granger:
“And if you ask me, Sam, this one might get ugly.”
The arena
lights dim slightly as the next competitor prepares to make his way to the
ring.
A deep
industrial drumbeat begins pounding through the arena.
“Iron
Tyrant” by Steel Dominion
Red lights
pulse across the stage as Rex Rampage slowly steps out onto the ramp.
The crowd
greets him with heavy boos.
Rampage
stands at the top of the stage for a moment, cracking his neck and rolling his
shoulders like a man preparing for a street fight rather than a wrestling
match.
Sam
Duffy:
“And here comes a man who absolutely thrives in chaos—Rex Rampage.”
Rick
Granger:
“If you’re talking about a Hardcore Title opportunity, Sam, this guy might be
the most dangerous man in the locker room.”
Rampage
storms down the ramp with a cold glare, ignoring the fans entirely.
He climbs
onto the apron and steps through the ropes, pacing the ring like a caged animal
while waiting for his opponent.
Suddenly
the arena erupts with loud cheers.
“Break
the Chains” by Iron Outlaw
A burst of
white and blue lights hits the stage as Bruiser McPugg storms out to a
huge reaction from the crowd.
Bruiser
pauses at the top of the ramp, cracking his knuckles and staring directly at
Rex Rampage in the ring.
Sam
Duffy:
“Listen to this crowd! They love Bruiser McPugg!”
Rick
Granger:
“He’s got the power, he’s got the toughness, and tonight he’s got a shot at the
Hardcore Championship.”
Bruiser
pounds his fist into his palm and charges down the ramp with purpose.
Inside the
ring, Rex Rampage smirks as the two men lock eyes from across the canvas.
Neither
man backs down.
Sam
Duffy:
“This one could be an absolute war.”
Rick
Granger:
“And the winner gets Jax Brenner next week!”
The
referee steps between them as the crowd buzzes with anticipation.
The bell
is about to ring.
The bell
rings and the two heavy hitters waste absolutely no time trading blows.
Bruiser
McPugg opens
aggressively, driving Rex Rampage down with a crushing Shoulder
Breaker that rattles the big man early.
Sam
Duffy:
“Bruiser McPugg coming out swinging here tonight!”
Rick
Granger:
“You better hit Rex Rampage hard and fast, Sam, because once he gets rolling
it’s like trying to stop a freight train.”
Rampage
quickly answers back by throwing Bruiser violently over the top rope,
sending him crashing to the outside floor.
The match
turns ugly from that moment on.
Back
inside the ring, the two men begin trading brutal power moves — piledrivers,
neckbreakers, knee lifts, and crushing clotheslines — each man trying to
overpower the other.
Bruiser
lands a massive Power Bomb that nearly ends the match, but Rampage
somehow survives.
Moments
later Rampage starts fighting dirty.
He drives
a vicious kick straight into Bruiser’s groin, drawing loud boos from the
crowd.
Sam
Duffy:
“Oh come on! That was a blatant low blow!”
Rick
Granger:
“Hey, this is for a Hardcore Title opportunity. You do what you have to do!”
Rampage
continues targeting Bruiser’s midsection before locking in a suffocating Sleeperhold,
trying to wear him down.
Bruiser
refuses to quit.
He powers
out and lands another crushing Shoulder Breaker, followed by a
thunderous Power Bomb that sends the crowd into a frenzy.
But Rex
Rampage refuses to stay down.
The fight
spills outside again as Rampage throws Bruiser hard into the floor before
dragging him back into the ring.
Rampage
begins unloading with heavy strikes, including a brutal shot with his taped
fist, before attempting a pin.
1…
2…
Bruiser
kicks out.
Sam
Duffy:
“McPugg will not stay down!”
Rampage
snarls, dragging Bruiser back to his feet.
Bruiser
fires back with heavy chops and punches, but Rampage suddenly explodes forward—
—and
nearly takes his head off with a devastating Running Clothesline.
Rampage
drops down for the cover.
1…
2…
3!
The bell
rings.
Result
Rex
Rampage defeats Bruiser “Cauliflower” McPugg by pinfall with a Running
Clothesline
Rex slowly
rises to his feet, breathing heavily after the war he just endured.
The crowd
showers him with boos as the referee raises his arm.
Rampage
grabs a microphone from ringside.
He paces
the ring slowly, glaring toward the entrance ramp.
Rex
Rampage:
“Jax Brenner!”
The crowd
erupts as Rampage points toward the stage.
“Next week
on Live Wire… that Hardcore Championship becomes mine!”
The crowd
roars as Rampage continues shouting toward the back.
“Get out
here right now, Brenner! Come face me if you’re not a coward!”
Rampage
stands in the center of the ring, waiting.
The arena
buzzes as everyone looks toward the entrance ramp… waiting to see if the
Hardcore Champion will answer the challenge.
Then—
The arena
explodes.
“Alaskan
Fury” by Northern Riot
The crowd
roars as Jax Brenner storms out onto the stage.
No posing.
No
theatrics.
Just a hard,
determined power walk straight down the ramp.
Sam
Duffy:
“Oh boy! Here comes the Hardcore Champion!”
Rick
Granger:
“And Rex Rampage may have just gotten exactly what he asked for!”
Jax never
takes his eyes off Rampage as he marches to the ring.
Rampage
smirks and beckons him forward.
Jax climbs
the steel steps, steps through the ropes—
—and walks
directly to the center of the ring.
The two
men stand nose to nose.
Jax is
slightly taller, staring down at Rampage as the crowd buzzes with anticipation.
Neither
man says a word.
Neither
man moves.
The
tension is electric.
Suddenly—
HCW
security rushes down the ramp.
Half a
dozen officials slide into the ring, immediately stepping between the two men
before anything can happen.
Sam
Duffy:
“Security getting in there immediately!”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s a smart move because these two are about two seconds away from tearing
each other apart!”
Rampage
shouts over the shoulders of security.
Rex
Rampage:
“Next week, Brenner! Your title is mine!”
Jax simply
stares back coldly, unblinking.
The two
men continue glaring at each other as security struggles to keep them
separated.
Sam
Duffy:
“Ladies and gentlemen, the challenge has been issued!”
Rick
Granger:
“Jax Brenner versus Rex Rampage… for the Hardcore Championship next week on
Live Wire!”
The camera
captures the intense stare down one more time as the crowd roars.
The
confrontation ends with security holding both men apart as the show moves
forward.
Backstage
Interview – Abraham Van Helsing
Backstage
area.
The camera
cuts to Larry Morton standing beside the Convergent Champion, Abraham
Van Helsing. The championship is firmly around his waist.
.
Van
Helsing stands tall and composed, hands folded calmly in front of him.
Larry
Morton:
“Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is the Convergent Champion…
Abraham Van Helsing.”
Larry
turns slightly toward the champion.
Larry
Morton (cont.):
“Tonight you defend your championship against Mr. X in our main event. We just
heard from your challenger moments ago, and he made it very clear he believes
you’re simply another obstacle in his path.”
Van
Helsing nods slowly.
Abraham
Van Helsing:
“I heard.”
A brief
pause.
He does
not sound angry.
He sounds
certain.
Abraham
Van Helsing (cont.):
“Mr. X is talented.”
“He is
dangerous.”
“And like
many men who rely on arrogance… he is very confident.”
Larry
studies his expression.
Larry
Morton:
“Do you think he’s underestimating you?”
Van
Helsing looks directly into the camera.
Abraham
Van Helsing:
“I think he misunderstands something.”
A beat.
“This
championship does not belong to the loudest voice.”
He rests a
hand lightly on the title.
“It
belongs to the man who survives the fight.”
Another
calm pause.
Abraham
Van Helsing (quietly):
“And tonight… we fight.”
Larry nods
slightly.
Van
Helsing walks away down the hallway, calm and focused, the championship still
over his shoulder as the camera lingers for a moment before cutting away.
Back at
commentary:
Sam
Duffy:
“Well fans, we’re ready to move on to our next match here on HCW Voltage!”
Rick
Granger:
“And I’ve been looking forward to this one, Sam. Biceps Bannerman and Otto
Ruthless are about to throw down.”
Suddenly,
music interrupts.
“Diamonds
in the Spotlight” – Platinum Legacy
The crowd
immediately erupts in loud boos.
Sam
Duffy:
“Oh come on… not now.”
Rick
Granger:
“Well speak of the devil! Business just picked up!”
Out steps the
HCW Television Champion — The Rich Athlete.
Wearing an
extravagant gold-trimmed robe, the champion slowly steps onto the stage, arms
extended as if basking in a spotlight only he can see. He confidently struts
down the ramp, stopping halfway to point to himself and shout something toward
the crowd.
Rick
Granger:
“That right there is the finest athlete in HCW today!”
Sam
Duffy:
“Rick, he’s not even scheduled for this match!”
The Rich
Athlete arrogantly circles the ring before casually walking over to the
commentary desk. He removes his sunglasses and robe with theatrical flair
before sitting down.
The
Rich Athlete:
“Gentlemen… relax. The champion has arrived to elevate this broadcast.”
Sam
Duffy:
“We didn’t exactly invite you.”
The
Rich Athlete:
“You’re welcome.”
Rick
laughs while Sam shakes his head.
“Iron
Patriot” – Liberty Riot
The crowd
rises as Biceps Bannerman steps out onto the stage.
The
powerful fan favorite flexes both arms, drawing a loud reaction from the
Voltage crowd before marching confidently down the ramp. Bannerman slaps a few
hands along the barricade before climbing into the ring and raising both arms
again.
Sam
Duffy:
“Biceps Bannerman has been gaining serious momentum lately.”
Rick
Granger:
“He’s strong, sure… but he’s not championship material like the man sitting
next to us.”
The
Rich Athlete:
“Exactly, Rick. Finally someone here understands greatness.”
Bannerman
stretches in the corner, focused.
The lights
dim slightly.
“Merciless
Path” – Iron Tyranny
The boos
grow louder as Otto Ruthless emerges from the curtain.
Ruthless
walks with cold precision, ignoring the hostile crowd as he slowly makes his
way toward the ring.
Sam
Duffy:
“Otto Ruthless has made a reputation for himself as one of the most dangerous
competitors on this roster.”
Rick
Granger:
“He does what it takes to win, Sam. That’s something you and Bannerman could
learn from.”
The
Rich Athlete:
“Please. Both of these men should be thanking me for watching this match.”
Ruthless
climbs into the ring and locks eyes with Bannerman across the canvas as the
referee steps between them.
The
tension builds as the crowd buzzes.
Sam
Duffy:
“All right fans, this one is about to get underway!”
The bell
rings and both powerhouses immediately step into the center of the ring,
neither man showing any hesitation.
Otto
Ruthless strikes first with a short clothesline, but Bannerman fires
right back, muscling Ruthless off his feet with a powerful Full Nelson Lift
& Slam that rattles the ring.
Sam
Duffy:
“Bannerman showing that raw power early!”
Rick
Granger:
“Yeah but Otto Ruthless isn’t exactly built out of glass, Sam.”
At the
commentary desk, The Rich Athlete rolls his eyes.
The
Rich Athlete:
“Please… this is what you call competition? I’ve had tougher workouts tying my
robe.”
Back in
the ring Bannerman presses the advantage, hoisting Ruthless overhead with a press
and slam that draws a loud reaction from the Voltage crowd.
Ruthless
answers with his trademark brutality, raking the eyes and catching Bannerman
with Ruthless Aggression, turning momentum in his favor. Moments later
he plants Bannerman with a vertical suplex, followed by a string of
punishing driving elbow drops.
Rick
Granger:
“Now THAT is how you dismantle a man!”
The
Rich Athlete:
“Still sloppy. No precision. No style. No championship instincts.”
The two
continue trading heavy shots. Bannerman powers out of a hold and traps Ruthless
in the Biceps Crunch bearhug, squeezing the life out of him before
slamming him again with another Full Nelson Lift & Slam.
The crowd
roars as Bannerman refuses to slow down.
Ruthless
fights back with another vertical suplex, nearly stealing the match, but
Bannerman absorbs the punishment and answers with crushing strikes and another
attempt at a pin that Ruthless barely escapes.
Sam
Duffy:
“These two are giving it everything they’ve got!”
The
Rich Athlete:
“Everything they’ve got? That’s adorable.”
Late in
the match Bannerman rallies once more, hammering Ruthless with heavy blows
before doubling him over.
Rick
Granger:
“Ruthless might be in trouble here!”
Bannerman
drives a brutal kick to the gut, dropping Otto to his knees before
collapsing over him for the cover.
1…
2…
3!
Sam
Duffy:
“He got him!”
Rick
Granger:
“Bannerman just stole that one!”
Winner:
Biceps Bannerman
As
Bannerman rises and has his arm raised by the referee, the crowd cheers loudly.
At
commentary, The Rich Athlete immediately yanks off his headset.
The
Rich Athlete:
“This is embarrassing.”
He stands
up, straightens his robe, and grabs his HCW Television Championship from
the desk.
The
Rich Athlete:
“I refuse to sit here and pretend that this is worthy of my time.”
With a
dismissive wave of his hand, the champion storms away from commentary and walks
up the aisle, clearly disgusted.
Sam
Duffy:
“Well it looks like the Television Champion has seen enough.”
Rick
Granger:
“Typical. The champ doesn’t stick around when things don’t revolve around him.”
Inside the
ring, Biceps Bannerman celebrates with the crowd as Otto Ruthless rolls
out of the ring in frustration.
Sam
Duffy:
“Biceps Bannerman picks up a big victory here tonight on HCW Voltage!”
Commentary
Transition to the Main Event
(Camera
returns to the commentary desk.)
Sam
Duffy:
“Ladies
and gentlemen, we had the unfortunate pleasure of the TV Champion the Rich
Athlete and right before that, you just heard from the Convergent Champion
Abraham Van Helsing. Calm, focused… and ready for what may be his toughest
challenge yet.”
Rick
Granger:
“I’ll tell
you something, Sam. Van Helsing talks about discipline and survival, and that’s
all very impressive — but Mr. X doesn’t care about speeches.”
Rick leans
slightly toward the camera.
Rick
Granger (cont.):
“That man
walks into every fight believing he’s the smartest guy in the room. And more
often than not… he’s right.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Well
tonight we’re about to find out. Because in just a few moments, Abraham Van
Helsing will defend the Convergent Championship against Mr. X in our main
event.”
Rick folds
his arms confidently.
Rick
Granger:
“You
wanted a main event, Sam? This is one.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Championship
stakes, two of the most dangerous competitors in HCW, and it happens next!”
(Camera
cuts to a wide shot of the arena as the crowd buzz builds.)
Sam
Duffy:
“Hang on,
we are being told we have something that needs to be aired.”
(Cut to the
Omegatron)

Plans of the False Light
Private
Study – The Monastery of the Circle
The camera
fades in slowly.
Snow
lashes against the black stone walls of a towering monastery carved into the
cliffs of the Western Carpathian Mountains. Wind howls through narrow
stone passages, the sound echoing like distant whispers.
Inside the
monastery, however… there is silence.
Warm
candlelight flickers across ancient stone.
The
Grand Manipulator’s Study
A vast
circular chamber.
Shelves of
forbidden texts spiral upward toward a domed ceiling painted with celestial
maps long erased from modern astronomy. Candles burn steadily in iron sconces.
At the
center of the room stands an enormous obsidian desk.
Spread
across its surface:
•
Architectural diagrams of arena layouts
• HCW broadcast schedules
• Dossiers labeled DARK DOMINION
• A photograph of Count Vlad Dragomir mid-promo, eyes burning with
arrogant certainty
Standing
over it all…
Ardan
Vantrell.
Robes of
black and gray fall in perfect lines from his shoulders. His fingers rest
lightly on Vlad’s photograph as if measuring its weight.
Behind
him, the heavy wooden doors open.
Boots echo
across the chamber.
Lord
Gunther enters.
Boots echo
once… twice… then silence.
Gunther
stops several paces behind him.
Gunther
(gravelly, restrained):
“You sent for me.”
Ardan does
not turn.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“Yes.”
A pause.
The wind
rattles faintly against the monastery windows.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“Tell me, Lord Gunther… when a student mistakes defiance for transcendence…
what is the proper correction?”
Gunther’s
jaw tightens.
Gunther:
“Discipline.”
A faint
smile crosses Ardan’s face.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“Precisely.”
He turns
slowly.
Candlelight
reflects in his pale eyes — not warmth… but calculation.
Gunther
approaches the desk, glancing down at the wrestling schedules with visible
disdain.
Gunther:
“This… spectacle.”
He
gestures dismissively toward the documents.
Gunther
(cont.):
“Part ownership of NPCW. Infiltration of HCW. Arena lights. Microphones.
Merchandising.”
A beat.
Gunther:
“It is beneath the Circle of the False Light.”
The words
hang in the chamber.
Ardan’s
expression does not change.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“Is it.”
Not a
question.
Gunther
folds his arms.
Gunther:
“We are architects of governments. Breakers of bloodlines. We bend kings.”
He steps
closer.
Gunther
(lower):
“And now we chase television ratings?”
A long
pause.
Gunther:
“Forgive my bluntness… but this smells less like strategy… and more like
something personal.”
The room
seems colder.
Gunther
meets his gaze.
Gunther:
“Is this about the insult?”
A pause.
Gunther
(cont.):
“Or is it about Mistress Tynell?”
The name
hangs in the air.
Ardan
exhales softly — almost amused.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“You overestimate my fragility.”
He begins
walking slowly around the desk.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“Vlad calling himself ‘the Grandest Manipulator’ was not an insult.”
He stops.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“It was a declaration of war.”
A beat.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“And as for Tynell…”
He waves a
hand dismissively.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“Affection is a weakness I observe in others. Not myself.”
Gunther
watches him carefully.
He is not
fully convinced.
Ardan
walks toward the tall window overlooking the cliffs.
Snow whips
violently against the glass.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“Professional wrestling is not sport.”
He turns
slowly back toward Gunther.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“It is ritualized conflict broadcast to millions.”
“Heroes.”
“Villains.”
“Betrayal.”
“Redemption.”
His eyes
narrow slightly.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“It is mass psychological conditioning disguised as entertainment.”
A faint
smile forms.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“The Circle has whispered in shadows for centuries.”
A pause.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“Why whisper… when the world now tunes in willingly?”
Gunther
exhales slowly.
Gunther:
“So this is conquest.”
Ardan
shakes his head.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“No.”
A quiet
correction.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“This is amplification.”
He
gestures toward Vlad’s photograph.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“But first… Vlad must fall.”
Ardan
returns to the desk.
He studies
the HCW reports.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“The tide turns against him.”
He taps a
parchment.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“His alliances strain. His temper shortens. His dominion fractures.”
His voice
lowers.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“When arrogance believes itself untouchable… it exposes its throat.”
Gunther
studies him carefully.
Gunther:
“And you believe the moment is now?”
Ardan
Vantrell:
“I believe hesitation is how empires survive.”
A beat.
His tone
becomes steel.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“I will not allow him time to recover.”
Ardan
shifts the conversation.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“How progresses the academy?”
Gunther
straightens slightly.
Gunther:
“Slowly.”
A hint of
irritation.
Gunther
(cont.):
“Wrestlers are not soldiers. They lack discipline. They crave applause.”
He folds
his arms.
Gunther:
“But we are correcting that.”
Ardan
nods.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“Good.”
A thin
smile.
Ardan
Vantrell:
“Build it properly.”
“Doctrine
first.”
“Performance
second.”
Gunther:
“It will not be rushed.”
Ardan
Vantrell:
“It must not be.”
A quiet
pause settles over the chamber.
The
Warning
Gunther
turns toward the door.
Before
leaving, he speaks again.
Gunther:
“Be certain, Grand Manipulator… that you are striking for the Circle.”
A beat.
Gunther:
“Not for yourself.”
Ardan does
not answer immediately.
He studies
Vlad’s photograph once more.
Then
quietly—
Ardan
Vantrell:
“There is no distinction.”
Gunther
watches him a moment longer…
Then
exits.
The doors
close with a heavy echo.
Corridor
– Moments Later
The
monastery hallway is dim.
Torches
flicker low along ancient stone walls.
Standing
near a stone archway is Lucien Vantrell.
He has
been waiting.
Gunther
approaches.
They
exchange a knowing look.
Gunther:
“He is committed.”
Lucien
Vantrell:
“Yes.”
A pause.
Gunther:
“Too committed.”
Lucien’s
gaze drifts toward the closed study doors.
Lucien
Vantrell:
“He sees the board clearly.”
Another
pause.
Lucien
Vantrell (lower):
“But he stares only at one piece.”
Gunther
studies him.
Gunther:
“You believe this is obsession?”
Lucien
considers carefully.
Lucien
Vantrell:
“I believe he is so focused on wrestling… he is missing everything else moving
around him.”
The wind
rattles faintly through the monastery.
Gunther
exhales slowly.
Gunther:
“You should speak to him.”
Lucien’s
expression remains calm.
Lucien
Vantrell:
“He would not hear it.”
A long
silence.
Snow
rattles against distant windows.
Gunther:
“Then we watch.”
Lucien
nods once.
Lucien
Vantrell:
“We watch.”
The two
men stand beneath the torchlight…
silent
sentinels of a vast design.
And behind
the closed doors of the study—
Ardan
Vantrell begins moving his pieces toward war.
Fade to
black.
Back to
Ringside
The
broadcast cuts from the cold stone halls of the monastery back to the roaring
arena.
The crowd
noise floods the speakers as the camera settles on the commentary desk.
Sam
Duffy:
“Well that was… unsettling.”
Rick
Granger:
“Sam, I’ve seen a lot of power brokers in my day, but those men weren’t talking
about wrestling like it’s a sport. They were talking about it like it’s a
battlefield.”
Sam
Duffy:
“And if what we just heard is true, Count Vlad Dragomir may have far more
enemies circling than he realizes.”
Rick leans
forward, pointing toward the ring.
Rick
Granger:
“But right now, none of that matters to the two men about to step into that
ring.”
Sam
Duffy:
“That’s right. Our main event tonight — the Convergent Championship is on the
line.”
Rick
Granger:
“And whether the fans like it or not, Mr. X believes tonight is the night he
finally takes that title.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Well he’ll have to go through Abraham Van Helsing to do it.”
The lights
in the arena begin to dim.
Sam
Duffy:
“And here we go.”
Match
#5 – Main Event for the Convergent Championship
The arena
lighting shifts into a darker tone as the crowd buzz grows louder.
A harsh
electronic beat blasts through the arena speakers.
Erase
the Name” – Iron Dominion
A chorus
of boos rains down from the crowd.
From the
entrance tunnel emerges Mr. X, dressed in black and silver gear, moving
with cold confidence.
He stops
at the top of the ramp and slowly spreads his arms, soaking in the hostility.
Rick
Granger:
“You hear that reaction? That’s the sound of people who know greatness when
they see it but refuse to accept it.”
Sam
Duffy:
“I think that’s the sound of people who would love to see Mr. X get knocked
flat tonight.”
Mr. X
slowly walks down the ramp, ignoring the fans reaching toward him.
He slides
into the ring and stands in the center, staring directly toward the entrance
ramp.
The lights
suddenly cut to black.
A deep
orchestral theme begins to rise.
“Hunter
of the Night” – Black Cathedral
A single
white spotlight appears at the top of the ramp.
Standing
within it…
The
Convergent Champion — Abraham Van Helsing.
The
championship rests proudly around his waist.
The crowd
erupts.
Van
Helsing removes his coat slowly before beginning his march down the ramp,
focused and composed.
Sam
Duffy:
“Listen to this crowd!”
Rick
Granger:
“I’ll admit it, Sam — Van Helsing carries himself like a champion.”
Van
Helsing steps onto the ring apron, pauses briefly, then steps through the
ropes.
The two
men immediately lock eyes in the center of the ring.
The
tension is palpable.
The camera
turns toward the center of the ring where the in-ring announcer stands.
Tony
Calibur:
“Ladies
and gentlemen… the following contest is scheduled for one fall… and it is for
the CONVERGENT CHAMPIONSHIP!”
The crowd
cheers loudly.
Tony
gestures toward Mr. X.
Tony
Calibur:
“Introducing first… the challenger…”
“He stands
six feet three inches tall and weighs in at 245 pounds…”
“Hailing
from parts unknown…”
A wave of
boos fills the arena.
Tony
Calibur:
“MR. X!”
Mr. X
raises his arms with a smug grin.
Tony then
turns toward the champion.
Tony
Calibur:
“And his opponent…”
The crowd
begins cheering loudly.
Tony
Calibur:
“He stands six feet four inches tall and weighs 252 pounds…”
“Hailing
from…where ever he wants…”
“He is the
reigning… defending… CONVERGENT CHAMPION!”
Tony
raises his voice.
Tony
Calibur:
“ABRAHAM… VAN… HELSING!”
The crowd
erupts.
Van
Helsing unfastens the championship belt and raises it high over his head as the
fans cheer.
Across the
ring, Mr. X slowly cracks his neck.
Sam
Duffy:
“Main event time.”
Rick
Granger:
“And we’re about to find out if the hunter keeps his crown… or if Mr. X finally
takes it.”
The
referee steps between them as the tension builds.
The bell
is about to ring.
The bell
rings and the main event is underway.
Van
Helsing wastes no time asserting himself, immediately catching Mr. X
with a powerful powerslam that rattles the ring and sends the crowd
roaring.
Sam
Duffy:
“Van Helsing came ready tonight!”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s what a champion looks like when the pressure is on.”
Mr. X
quickly responds in the next exchange, answering a second powerslam with a hard
bodyslam of his own, reminding the champion that he is not intimidated.
The match
turns physical early. Both men trade heavy offense — a crushing chokeslam
from Van Helsing answered by another bodyslam from Mr. X as the
challenger refuses to stay down.
Moments
later the challenger lands his biggest shot of the night.
Mr. X
catches Van Helsing with a devastating Polynesian Piledriver, sending
the crowd into stunned silence as the challenger nearly seizes control.
Rick
Granger:
“There it is! That’s the opening Mr. X has been waiting for!”
But Van
Helsing refuses to fade.
The
champion fires back with brutal precision — a stiff roundhouse right
that snaps Mr. X’s head back, followed by a thunderous Silver Bullet Spear
that nearly cuts the challenger in half.
Sam
Duffy:
“GOOD LORD! Van Helsing just drove straight through him!”
The
champion presses the attack, hammering Mr. X with the vicious Stake to the
Heart punch before lifting him high and delivering another punishing chokeslam.
Van
Helsing hooks the leg…
Sam
Duffy:
“This could be it!”
But Mr. X
somehow reverses the attempt and nearly steals the victory with a quick counter
pin of his own.
Van
Helsing kicks out immediately.
Both men
rise slowly.
The
tension in the arena reaches a boiling point.
Then
suddenly—
Van
Helsing grabs Mr. X and spikes him into the mat with the devastating BACK TO
THE GRAVE!
The crowd
explodes.
Van
Helsing pulls Mr. X back up immediately.
BACK TO
THE GRAVE — AGAIN!
The
challenger’s body goes limp on impact.
But Van
Helsing is not finished.
The
champion lifts him one final time…
BACK TO
THE GRAVE — A THIRD TIME!
The arena
erupts.
Sam
Duffy:
“Three of them! THREE BACK TO THE GRAVES!”
Rick
Granger:
“That man is sending a message to the entire world!”
Van
Helsing folds Mr. X’s arms across his chest and covers him.
The
referee drops.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE!
Winner
and STILL Convergent Champion
ABRAHAM
VAN HELSING
The bell
rings as the crowd erupts in approval.
Van
Helsing slowly rises to his feet while the referee raises his arm.
Sam
Duffy:
“An absolutely dominant finish!”
Rick
Granger:
“Three Back to the Graves… that’s not just a win, Sam. That’s a statement.”
Van
Helsing retrieves the Convergent Championship and raises it high above
his head while the crowd roars.
Mr. X
remains motionless in the ring behind him as the champion stands tall. He leaves the ring holding the title high as
the fans pop huge for him. He then
disappears behind the curtain.
Closing
Moments
The camera
returns to the ring where Abraham Van Helsing stands tall, the Convergent
Championship raised high above his head. The crowd roars as the champion
takes one final look around the arena before stepping through the ropes.
The camera
cuts back to commentary.
Sam
Duffy:
“What a main event we just witnessed here tonight!”
Rick
Granger:
“Three Back to the Grave piledrivers, Sam. Mr. X wanted the champion, and he
got every bit of him.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Van Helsing proves once again why he holds that Convergent Championship.”
Rick nods.
Rick
Granger:
“And with that kind of performance, you have to wonder who could possibly—”
Suddenly—
The arena
lights dim.
The camera
cuts to the ring.
Standing
in the center of the ring…
Count
Vlad.
The crowd
immediately begins to boo.
Vlad
raises the microphone slowly.
He does
not rush.
He never
rushes.
Count
Vlad:
“For centuries… men have searched for truth.”
A slow
glance around the arena.
Count
Vlad:
“They searched in temples.”
“They
searched in books.”
“They
searched in kings.”
A
dismissive shake of his head.
Count
Vlad:
“And every one of them failed.”
The crowd
boos loudly.
Vlad
raises a single finger.
Count
Vlad (cont.):
“Because truth does not hide in shadows.”
“It stands
above them.”
A slight
smile forms.
Count
Vlad:
“And I am the only man in this world strong enough to stand there.”
He spreads
his arms slightly.
Count
Vlad:
“I was chosen.”
A pause.
“I was
elevated.”
Another
pause.
“I was
meant to rule.”
The crowd
reacts loudly.
Then—
The arena
lights flicker.
The
Disturbance
Not
darkness.
Not a
blackout.
Just an
unnatural pulse.
White
light flashes across the arena.
The video
screen suddenly fills with a symbol.
The
Flaming White Fist.
A low
choral tone echoes through the arena.
No music.
Just a
haunting resonance.
The crowd
murmurs in confusion.
Vlad
slowly lowers the microphone.
His
expression shifts to irritation.
The stage
begins filling with a cold white light.
Through
it…
Ashen
Vicar emerges.
No
theatrics.
No
gestures.
Only
purpose.
He walks
slowly down the ramp.
Each step
deliberate.
Vlad
watches him with annoyance rather than fear.
Ashen
reaches the ring.
He steps
through the ropes.
The two
men stand face to face.
The arena
grows quiet.
Ashen
speaks calmly.
Almost
like scripture.
Ashen
Vicar:
“You were given light.”
A pause.
“You were
given knowledge.”
Another
pause.
“You were
given power.”
Ashen
steps closer.
“You were
given the path.”
The crowd
leans forward.
Ashen
tilts his head slightly.
Ashen
Vicar:
“And you mistook all of it… for a crown.”
The crowd
begins reacting loudly.
Vlad
smirks.
He looks
down at Ashen with pure arrogance.
Count
Vlad:
“You kneel to the Circle.”
A
dismissive wave.
Count
Vlad:
“I surpassed them.”
Ashen
slowly shakes his head.
Ashen
Vicar:
“You did not surpass them.”
A beat.
Ashen
Vicar:
“You betrayed them.”
The crowd
erupts.
Ashen
steps even closer.
His voice
lowers.
Ashen
Vicar (quietly):
“You were not meant to rule.”
A pause.
Ashen
Vicar:
“You were meant to serve.”
That line
hits Vlad like a blade.
Vlad’s
expression changes instantly.
The
arrogance cracks.
He steps
forward aggressively.
Count
Vlad:
“I serve no one.”
Ashen
looks at Vlad one final time.
Then turns
slowly toward the hard camera.
Ashen
Vicar:
“The False Light does not create kings.”
A pause.
Ashen
Vicar:
“It reveals impostors.”
The crowd
reacts loudly.
Ashen
delivers the final line.
Ashen
Vicar:
“Judgment has begun.”
Suddenly—
The arena
lights cut out.
The Flaming
White Fist flashes across the screen once more.
When the
lights return—
Ashen
Vicar is gone.
Count Vlad’s
eyes narrow and then he leaves the ring without another word.
(The
camera returns to the commentary desk. The crowd is still buzzing.)
Sam
Duffy:
“I… I’m
not sure what we just witnessed.”
Sam shakes
his head slightly, still processing.
Sam
Duffy (cont.):
“Ashen
Vicar just walked into this arena and stood face to face with Count Vlad… and
instead of pledging loyalty or challenging for power… he accused Vlad of
betrayal.”
Rick leans
back, clearly intrigued.
Rick
Granger:
“And not
just betrayal, Sam. Did you hear what he called him?”
Rick taps
the desk.
Rick
Granger (cont.):
“A
heretic.”
Sam nods.
Sam
Duffy:
“That word
carries a lot of weight. Especially considering everything we’ve learned about
the Circle of the False Light tonight.”
Rick folds
his arms.
Rick
Granger:
“I’ll tell
you what I saw.”
A beat.
“I saw
someone who wasn’t afraid of Count Vlad.”
Sam
gestures toward the ring.
Sam
Duffy:
“And that
alone is rare in HCW.”
Rick
smirks slightly.
Rick
Granger:
“But
here’s the real problem…”
He leans
closer to the camera.
Rick
Granger (cont.):
“If this
Ashen Vicar guy isn’t working for Vlad… and he’s not working for the Circle…”
A pause.
“Then who
exactly is he working for?”
Sam
answers quietly.
Sam
Duffy:
“That
might be the most dangerous question of all.”
(Camera
pans across the arena as the crowd continues reacting.)
Sam
Duffy:
“For Rick
Granger, I’m Sam Duffy. Thank you for joining us tonight for HCW Voltage.”
Rick
Granger:
“And if
tonight proved anything, Sam… it’s that the battle for control of this company
is far from over.”
Sam
Duffy:
“We’ll see
you next time right here on HCW!”
(The
broadcast fades out as the camera shows the ring one final time.)
