Arena
lights explode into color as the HCW Voltage theme blasts through the
speakers.
“Electric
Crown” by Iron Voltage
Pyro
erupts across the stage as the crowd roars.
The camera
sweeps across the arena, capturing fans holding signs and cheering wildly.
We cut to
the announce desk.
Sam
Duffy and Rick
Granger sit ready.
Sam
Duffy:
“Hello
wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling
Newsletter! Tonight you are watching HCW
Voltage, and we have an incredible night of action ahead of us!”
Rick
Granger:
“Sam, I’ll
tell you what — if tonight is anything like what we’ve been seeing lately,
somebody’s career might not survive the evening.”
Sam
Duffy:
“We have a
championship match in our main event tonight as The Rich Athlete defends the
Television Championship against Biceps Bannerman.”
Rick
Granger:
“And
Bannerman better be ready, because The Rich Athlete doesn’t just win matches…
he humiliates people.”
Sam
Duffy:
We’ll also
see Aurora Storm take on Selena Blackfang with the winner earning the next
shot at the Heritage Women’s Championship.”
Rick
Granger:
“And
Selena Blackfang has Count Vlad in her corner. That alone should make
Aurora reconsider her life choices.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Plus
tonight, Sorin Savax battles Nightfang, the Albano family will be in
action, and Freedom Fighter Justice looks to bring the fight to Julius
Squeezer!”
Rick
Granger:
“Justice
might want to rethink that plan too.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Ladies
and gentlemen, buckle up… because HCW Voltage starts right now!”
The camera
cuts to the ring as the arena lights dim slightly.
A grinding
guitar riff begins to echo through the arena.
“Pressure
Lock” by Iron Grip
Julius
Squeezer steps onto the stage, rolling his neck and cracking his knuckles
before nodding toward the crowd. Fans respond with a strong cheer as he begins
making his way toward the ring.
Sam
Duffy:
“Julius
Squeezer kicking things off tonight on HCW Voltage. A powerful competitor who’s
built a reputation on strength and relentless pressure.”
Rick
Granger:
“Yeah, and
that strength can make a long night for anybody standing across the ring from
him. You don’t want a guy like that getting his hands on you.”
Squeezer
climbs into the ring and gives a quick nod toward the crowd before stretching
against the ropes as he waits for his opponent.
The arena
suddenly erupts as patriotic drums thunder through the speakers.
“Freedom
March” by Liberty Command
Freedom
Fighter Justice bursts onto the stage to a loud ovation, raising a fist to the
crowd before pointing toward the ring.
He marches
down the ramp with confidence as fans along the barricade reach out to slap
hands.
Sam
Duffy:
“And here
comes Freedom Fighter Justice! These fans love this man’s energy and
determination every time he steps into the ring.”
Rick
Granger:
“I’ll give
him this — the guy comes to fight. And against somebody like Julius Squeezer,
he’s going to have to.”
Justice
climbs onto the apron and raises his fist once more before stepping through the
ropes.
Across the
ring, Squeezer steps forward and offers a firm nod of respect.
Justice
nods back.
The
referee steps between them as the crowd buzzes.
Sam
Duffy:
“This is a
great way to start the night — two competitors the fans respect, and only one
of them is walking out with the victory.”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s
what I like, Sam. No drama, no nonsense. Just two guys ready to see who’s
tougher.”
The
referee signals for the bell.
DING
DING
Both men
step forward and circle each other at center ring as the crowd cheers.
Sam
Duffy:
“And we
are underway here on HCW Voltage!”
The two
competitors circle cautiously as the bell rings, each man testing the other
with quick movements and feints before locking up at center ring.
Freedom
Fighter Justice quickly transitions into control, twisting Squeezer down to the
mat with a smooth stepover toehold and trying to grind the pressure into
the knee.
Sam
Duffy:
“Great technical start from Freedom Fighter Justice as he goes right to the
leg!”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s smart, Sam. You take away the base from a powerhouse like Julius
Squeezer, and suddenly that strength advantage disappears.”
Squeezer
powers out of the hold and explodes forward, catching Justice with a rolling
reverse waistlock slam that shakes the ring and brings the crowd to its
feet.
Justice
tries to rally, but Squeezer keeps the momentum going. Charging off the ropes,
he blasts Justice with a thunderous Steinerline that nearly flips him
inside out.
Sam
Duffy:
“Julius Squeezer just turned the tide with that Steinerline!”
Rick
Granger:
“And that’s the difference-maker right there — raw power.”
Justice
refuses to stay down. Regrouping, he clamps on a tight side headlock,
grinding down Squeezer and slowing the pace while the crowd cheers both men.
Squeezer
breaks free and fires back again with another powerful burst, slamming Justice
down with another rolling reverse waistlock slam.
The crowd
roars as both competitors begin trading control, each man showing resilience
and determination.
Justice
counters another charge and slips out of danger, but Squeezer quickly closes
the distance and wraps his arms around Justice’s torso.
With
crushing force, Julius locks in the Gorilla Squeeze.
Justice
struggles desperately, trying to pry the hold apart as the referee checks.
Sam
Duffy:
“Justice is in serious trouble here!”
Rick
Granger:
“Nobody escapes the Gorilla Squeeze once Julius locks it in!”
Justice
fights for several seconds… but the pressure becomes too much.
He taps
out.
DING
DING
Sam
Duffy:
“Julius Squeezer wins it here in our opening match on HCW Voltage!”
Squeezer
releases the hold immediately and steps back, giving Justice room to recover as
the crowd applauds the effort from both men.
Justice
slowly rises to his feet, catching his breath.
The two
competitors look at one another for a moment.
Then
Julius Squeezer extends his hand.
Justice
nods.
The two
shake hands firmly in the center of the ring as the crowd cheers loudly for the
display of respect.
Sam
Duffy:
“That’s what competition is all about. Two great athletes leaving everything in
the ring.”
Rick
Granger:
“I’ll give them credit — that was a fight.”
The two
men raise each other’s hands before exiting opposite sides of the ring as
Voltage moves on to the next segment.
Backstage
Interview Segment
The camera
cuts to the backstage production area. Cables snake across the floor, lighting
rigs hang overhead, and equipment cases are stacked against the walls. A
monitor behind the group displays the HCW Voltage logo.
Standing
in front of the camera is Larry Morton, holding an HCW microphone. To
his right stands the HCW Television Champion, The Rich Athlete, the Television
Championship resting proudly on his shoulder. Beside him stands his
composed and calculating manager, Ruth Heartless, arms folded.
Larry
Morton:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m standing backstage with the HCW Television
Champion, The Rich Athlete, along with his manager Ruth Heartless. The
Television Championship will be on the line in our main event. Champ, tonight
you defend against Biceps Bannerman. What does this match mean for the
future of the Television Championship?”
The
Rich Athlete
slowly adjusts the title on his shoulder, giving the belt a smug glance before
looking at Larry.
The
Rich Athlete:
“What does it mean, Larry?”
He lets
out a small chuckle.
The
Rich Athlete:
“It means the Television Championship continues to represent excellence.”
He pats
the faceplate of the belt.
The
Rich Athlete:
“And excellence… has a name.”
A
confident smirk.
The
Rich Athlete:
“The Rich Athlete.”
Ruth
Heartless nods
approvingly.
The
Rich Athlete:
“Now I understand the people want to believe in this so-called powerhouse,
Biceps Bannerman. Big muscles. Big attitude. Lots of shouting.”
He shrugs
dismissively.
The
Rich Athlete:
“But muscles don’t win championships.”
He taps
his temple.
The
Rich Athlete:
“Strategy does.”
Ruth
Heartless steps
forward slightly.
Ruth
Heartless:
“Let’s be perfectly clear, Larry. The Television Championship is not some
participation trophy for weight-room heroes.”
She
gestures toward the belt.
Ruth
Heartless:
“This championship belongs to a complete competitor.”
She
motions toward The Rich Athlete.
Ruth
Heartless:
“Strength, intelligence, precision… and most importantly… superiority.”
The Rich
Athlete smiles smugly.
The
Rich Athlete:
“Tonight Bannerman gets the opportunity of a lifetime.”
A dramatic
pause.
The
Rich Athlete:
“He gets to lose… to greatness. WOOOOO!”
Larry
Morton:
“Well there you have it. The champion clearly confident heading into tonight’s
main event.”
The Rich
Athlete raises the Television Championship slightly on his shoulder.
The
Rich Athlete:
“Larry… confidence implies doubt.”
He leans
closer to the camera.
The
Rich Athlete:
“And I have none.”
The
champion and Ruth Heartless walk off down the corridor as the camera
cuts back to ringside.
Rick
Granger:
“Well if Bannerman thinks this is going to be some heroic moment tonight, he
better think again. You don’t just walk into the ring with a champion like the
Rich Athlete and flex your way to victory.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Bannerman has the power to do it, Rick. The question is whether he can
actually connect with that power before the champion outmaneuvers him.”
Rick
Granger:
“Sam, Bannerman’s whole game plan seems to be ‘lift heavy things and hope for
the best.’ That might impress the gym crowd, but the Rich Athlete is playing
chess while Bannerman’s still figuring out checkers.”
Sam
Duffy:
“And remember, that Television Championship main event is still to come later
tonight here on HCW Voltage.”
The arena
lights dim as a slick, swaggering rhythm begins to pulse through the speakers.
“Blood
Money Boulevard” by The Velvet Syndicate
From
behind the curtain emerges Tony Albano, dressed sharply and wearing a
smug grin as he slowly walks onto the stage.
Behind him
follows the ever-calculating Pierre Boulay, his expression cold and
composed as he surveys the crowd with disdain.
Boos rain
down immediately.
Albano
brushes imaginary dust off his sleeve and sneers toward the fans before
beginning the walk to the ring.
Sam
Duffy:
“And here comes Tony Albano accompanied by Pierre Boulay, representing the
Albano family.”
Rick
Granger:
“You say that like it’s a bad thing, Sam. The Albano family understands
something most people don’t — winning isn’t about popularity, it’s about
power.”
Albano
reaches ringside and arrogantly steps onto the apron while Boulay circles the
ring, shouting instructions.
Tony
climbs through the ropes and spreads his arms arrogantly toward the crowd,
drawing even louder boos.
Boulay
adjusts his suit cuffs at ringside, clearly pleased with the reaction.
The arena
lights suddenly cut out.
For a
moment the arena sits in darkness.
Then a
surge of electric energy explodes through the speakers.
“Neon
Rebellion” by Skyfall Riot
The crowd
erupts.
A
thunderous roar fills the arena as Clover Fincastle bursts onto the
stage.
Sam
Duffy:
“Listen to this place! Clover Fincastle is here!”
The fans
leap to their feet as Clover throws his arms wide, soaking in the massive
reaction before sprinting down the ramp.
Rick
Granger:
“I’ll give the kid this — the crowd absolutely loves him.”
Clover
slides under the bottom rope and pops up to his feet instantly, springing onto
the turnbuckle as the crowd continues to cheer wildly.
He throws
a hand toward the fans before hopping back down into the ring.
Across the
ring, Tony Albano looks visibly annoyed as Pierre Boulay barks instructions
from ringside.
Sam
Duffy:
“Clover Fincastle brings incredible energy every time he steps into an HCW
ring.”
Rick
Granger:
“Energy is great, Sam… but Boulay and Albano have a plan. And plans usually
beat enthusiasm.”
Clover
backs into his corner, bouncing lightly on his feet as Albano removes his
jacket and tosses it to Boulay.
The
referee steps forward and signals for the bell.
DING
DING
The bell
rings and Tony Albano wastes no time asserting himself. The veteran
powerhouse catches Clover Fincastle early with a perfectly timed Dropkick,
sending Clover stumbling backward as Pierre Boulay nods approvingly from
ringside.
Sam
Duffy:
“Albano wasting absolutely no time going right after Clover Fincastle.”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s experience, Sam. Albano understands you don’t give a high-energy
athlete like Fincastle room to breathe.”
Clover
quickly answers back, igniting the crowd with a thunderous Double Underhook
Piledriver that shakes the ring. The arena explodes with cheers as
Fincastle begins firing off fast-paced offense, including a sharp Ax Kick
that sends Albano staggering.
Albano
regroups quickly, leaning on his power game. A Slingshot Clothesline
nearly turns Clover inside out, and the momentum swings again as Albano
repeatedly punishes Clover with Suplexes, Bulldogs, and crushing Dropkicks.
At
ringside, Pierre Boulay attempts to tilt the match in Albano’s favor by
grabbing Clover during a moment of chaos, but Clover reacts instantly and
shakes him off before serious damage can be done.
Sam
Duffy:
“Boulay tried to interfere there but Clover wasn’t having it!”
Rick
Granger:
“Smart management, Sam! Boulay is simply making sure Albano maintains the
advantage.”
The match
turns into a gritty back-and-forth battle as the minutes begin to pile up.
Clover
electrifies the crowd with high-impact offense including a Springboard
Moonsault, a brutal Landslide Samoan Driver, and a devastating Death
Valley Driver, while Albano answers with relentless power moves including a
crushing Piledriver, Gorilla Press, and several near-fall
attempts that almost end the contest.
Late in
the match Albano hooks the leg after another punishing Dropkick.
Rick
Granger:
“THIS COULD BE IT!”
But Clover
Fincastle kicks out at two, sending the crowd into another frenzy.
As the
match approaches the time limit, both men are exhausted but still fighting.
Clover fires off a rapid Spinning Wheel Kick, while Albano answers
moments later with a crushing Slingshot Clothesline, neither man able to
gain a decisive advantage.
With both
competitors struggling to stand, the referee signals toward the timekeeper.
DING
DING DING
The arena
buzzes with surprise.
Sam
Duffy:
“The thirty minute time limit has expired! This match has been declared a
draw!”
Both men
remain in the ring catching their breath as the crowd applauds the effort.
Rick
Granger:
“I’ll tell you what, Sam… whether you like him or not, Tony Albano just went
thirty minutes with one of the most explosive athletes in HCW.”
Sam
Duffy:
“And Clover Fincastle proved tonight he can hang with one of the toughest
veterans in the business.”
The crowd
gives both competitors a respectful ovation as the two men stare across the
ring at one another, neither able to claim victory.
Both men
remain in the ring, breathing heavily after thirty exhausting minutes of
combat.
Tony
Albano leans
against the ropes, chest heaving, while Clover Fincastle kneels near the
center of the ring trying to gather himself.
The crowd
applauds loudly for the effort.
Albano
slowly walks toward Clover.
For a
moment it looks like he may attack again.
At
ringside, Pierre Boulay immediately begins shouting.
Pierre
waves his arms, yelling for Albano to leave the ring.
Boulay
clearly wants no part of a show of respect.
Albano
pauses… looking down at Clover.
Clover
slowly rises to his feet.
The two
men stare at each other in the center of the ring.
The crowd
begins to buzz.
Albano
extends his hand.
The arena
pops.
Clover
nods once… and shakes Albano’s hand.
The crowd
erupts into applause.
WHAM!
Tony
suddenly VICIOUSLY clotheslines Clover to the mat.
The arena
explodes with boos.
Sam
Duffy:
“What a match! These two men just went thirty minutes and then Tony does
something despicable!”
Tony
stands over Clover with a smug grin as Pierre Boulay laughs hysterically at
ringside.
Rick
Granger:
“Well I may not agree with everything Tony Albano does, but that’s a veteran
showing the new guy not to trust anyone.”
Boulay
climbs onto the apron applauding Albano’s cheap shot as the crowd rains down
boos.
Albano and
Boulay begin heading up the ramp, both laughing and mocking the fans.
Meanwhile
Clover slowly pulls himself back to his feet in the ring.
The crowd
cheers loudly as he climbs the turnbuckle and raises his arms, showing the fans
he’s still standing.
The scene
cuts to the backstage production area where lighting rigs hang overhead and
equipment cases line the walls. A monitor behind the group displays the HCW
Voltage logo.
Standing
ready with a microphone is Larry Morton.
Beside him
stands Biceps Bannerman, rolling his shoulders and loosening his wrists
as he prepares for the main event later tonight.
Larry
Morton:
“Ladies and gentlemen, earlier tonight we heard from the HCW Television
Champion, The Rich Athlete, and his manager Ruth Heartless. In just
a little while, you challenge for the Television Championship in our main
event. Biceps… what’s going through your mind right now?”
Bannerman
exhales slowly, nodding to himself before answering.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“What’s going through my mind?”
He gives a
determined smile.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“Opportunity.”
He
gestures toward the monitor displaying the HCW logo.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“You see, the Rich Athlete talks about greatness like it’s something he owns.
Like it’s something reserved for him and him alone.”
Bannerman
shakes his head.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“That title isn’t about ego.”
He taps
his chest.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“It’s about heart.”
The crowd
in the arena can faintly be heard cheering through the backstage walls.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“I’ve spent my entire career working for moments like tonight.”
A
confident look crosses his face.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“And the Rich Athlete can laugh all he wants.”
He
clenches his fist.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“But when that bell rings… all the talking stops.”
Larry
Morton:
“The champion called you a weight-room hero earlier tonight. Said strength
alone won’t win you the Television Championship.”
Bannerman
smirks.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“He’s right.”
Larry
looks slightly surprised.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“Strength alone won’t win the title.”
A brief
pause.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“But strength… determination… and a whole lot of fight?”
He nods
confidently.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“That’s a different story.”
Bannerman
looks straight into the camera.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“Rich Athlete… I hope you’re ready.”
He cracks
his neck.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“Because tonight… I’m going to be the MAN who BEAT the Man.”
Bannerman
walks out of frame as the camera cuts back toward the arena
The arena
lights dim slightly.
A low
atmospheric tone rolls through the speakers before building into a dramatic
orchestral theme.
“Celestial
Ascension” by Astral Dominion
Blue and
silver lighting fills the arena as Sorin Savax emerges onto the stage.
Beside him
glides Elyra Moane, her presence almost mystical as she surveys the
crowd.
The fans
respond with a strong cheer.
Sorin
pauses at the top of the ramp, raising one arm confidently before beginning his
walk toward the ring.
Sam
Duffy:
“There he is! Sorin Savax, accompanied by Elyra Moane. This is a man who has
quickly developed a following here in HCW.”
Rick
Granger:
“I’ll give him credit, Sam — the crowd likes him. But tonight he’s stepping
into the ring with a member of the Dark Dominion, and that’s a whole different
level of danger.”
Sorin
enters the ring and climbs the turnbuckle, acknowledging the cheering crowd
before dropping down and stretching in his corner.
The lights
suddenly drop to near darkness.
A deep,
ominous drumbeat echoes through the arena.
“Fangs
in the Dark” by Black Cathedral
Red
lighting washes over the stage.
Through
the haze emerges Nightfang.
Walking
slowly behind him… Count Vlad.
The crowd
immediately erupts into loud boos.
Nightfang
stands motionless for a moment, staring toward the ring as Vlad calmly folds
his hands behind his back.
Sam
Duffy:
“And here comes the Dark Dominion.”
Rick
Granger:
“You say that like it’s a bad thing. Nightfang represents power, Sam.
Discipline. Dominance.”
Nightfang
marches down the ramp with cold intensity while Count Vlad follows with
a composed, almost regal stride.
Nightfang
climbs into the ring, never taking his eyes off Sorin.
At
ringside, Vlad simply smiles.
Sam
Duffy:
“You can cut the tension in this arena with a knife.”
Rick
Granger:
“Sorin Savax wanted a challenge tonight… well he’s about to get one.”
The
referee signals both men to their corners as the crowd builds in anticipation.
Sam
Duffy:
“Here we go!”
The bell
is about to ring.
From the
opening bell, Nightfang storms forward like a man on a mission,
overwhelming Sorin Savax with a savage Transylvanian Piledriver
and then following it with a brutal Vampire Lunge that immediately puts
Sorin on the defensive.
Sam
Duffy:
“Nightfang came into this match with frightening intensity!”
Rick
Granger:
“And that’s what happens when you’ve got Count Vlad in your corner, Sam.
That man demands violence, and Nightfang is delivering it.”
Nightfang
keeps the pressure on with a crushing Skull Crusher and nearly steals
the match early with a punishing Spider Web Leglock, forcing Sorin to
dig deep just to stay alive. At ringside, Count Vlad remains unnervingly
calm, while Elyra Moane urges Sorin to stay focused.
Sorin
finally begins to rally midway through the contest, firing back with an Olympic
Slam, a thunderous Two Hand Chokeslam, and then nearly turning the
entire match around by locking in the Death Writhe Sleeper.
Nightfang
refuses to submit.
Sorin
stays on him, transitioning into the Viscera Clutch multiple times and
wearing Nightfang down with a relentless choke-based attack that has the crowd
roaring behind him.
Sam
Duffy:
“Sorin Savax is clawing his way back into this thing!”
Rick
Granger:
“He better keep clawing, because Nightfang doesn’t look like a man who feels
pain.”
The fight
becomes increasingly desperate as both men trade heavy offense. Nightfang
launches Sorin out of the ring with a vicious Dropkick Out of the Ring,
only for Sorin to answer later with the Crown of Ashes and a near fall
that almost brings the arena to its feet.
At
ringside, Count Vlad begins to exert his influence more openly, psyching
up Nightfang and repeatedly distracting Sorin at key moments. Each time Sorin
tries to build momentum, Vlad finds a way to disrupt it, while Elyra
desperately tries to keep Sorin centered.
The final
stretch turns chaotic and violent. Sorin connects with another Two Hand
Chokeslam, more Spinning Back Kicks, and another close pin attempt,
but Nightfang simply will not stay down.
Then, just
when there were seconds left in this match, Nightfang catches Sorin in one last
burst of brutality.
He
explodes forward with the Vampire Lunge.
Nightfang
hooks the leg.
Sam
Duffy:
“This could do it!”
ONE!
TWO! THREE!
DING
DING DING
Sam
Duffy:
“Nightfang gets the win! But you cannot ignore the role Count Vlad played
throughout this match.”
Rick
Granger:
“Oh, stop complaining, Sam. Great managers change matches, and Count Vlad
is one of the greatest minds in this sport.”
Nightfang
rises slowly and stands over Sorin Savax after the bell, chest heaving,
while Count Vlad lingers at ringside with a cold, approving expression. Elyra
Moane slides into the ring and drops to one knee beside Sorin, trying to
help him gather himself after the exhausting battle.
But
Nightfang does not back away.
He drives
a hard stomp into Sorin’s ribs.
The crowd
immediately turns.
Sam
Duffy:
“Oh come on! The match is over!”
Rick
Granger:
“He won the match, Sam. Maybe he’s just making sure Sorin remembers it.”
Nightfang
grabs Sorin by the head and drags him upright, only to hammer him back down
with a vicious forearm to the back of the neck. Elyra steps in, shouting at
Nightfang to back off, but Count Vlad moves around the outside of the
ring like a man enjoying every second of the chaos.
Then—
A new
figure storms onto the stage with his all too familiar cue: “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYBODY!”
Dr. Red
Fang.
The crowd
erupts in a mix of shock and hostility as he marches down the ramp with
purpose, eyes locked on the ring. He slides inside without hesitation, and
Nightfang immediately meets him in the center.
The two
men look down at Sorin.
Then the
assault begins.
Nightfang
holds Sorin in place while Dr. Red Fang hammers him with clubbing shots
to the body and head. Sorin tries to fight back, but he is still spent from the
match. Elyra throws herself between them for a moment, but Nightfang forces her
aside just enough for Dr. Red Fang to keep the beating going.
Sam
Duffy:
“This is disgusting! Sorin Savax just went thirty minutes and now he’s being
picked apart by two jackals!”
Rick
Granger:
“Well, I’ll admit this is getting a little excessive… but effective.”
Dr. Red
Fang pulls Sorin up and drives him down again while Nightfang paces like a
predator, feeding off the destruction. Count Vlad watches from ringside
with complete satisfaction, almost as if this was expected.
Then the
lights in the arena shift.
A reaction
swells through the crowd.
Vael
Thorne charges
onto the stage.
The place
comes alive.
Sam
Duffy:
“Here comes Vael Thorne!”
Vael
sprints to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope. Nightfang turns first
and gets blasted with a running strike that sends him staggering backward. Dr.
Red Fang steps in next, but Vael unloads on him with a furious barrage, forcing
both attackers to retreat toward the ropes.
Sorin,
hurting but defiant, pulls himself up and joins the fight.
Together, Vael
Thorne and Sorin Savax surge forward.
Nightfang
and Dr. Red Fang bail from the ring, regrouping on the floor beside Count
Vlad, who does not look rattled — only annoyed that the fun has been
interrupted.
Rick
Granger:
“Now that is a problem, Sam. Vael Thorne just changed the numbers.”
Sam
Duffy:
“And thank goodness he did!”
Inside the
ring, Elyra Moane helps steady Sorin while Vael stands between them and
the retreating Dominion forces. Nightfang snarls from the floor. Dr. Red Fang
glares back from beside him. Count Vlad slowly raises his chin, eyes locked on
the ring.
The camera
catches the final image:
Vael
Thorne, Sorin
Savax, and Elyra Moane standing tall together in the ring while Nightfang,
Dr. Red Fang, and Count Vlad back away up the ramp.
Sam
Duffy:
“The message has been sent loud and clear — Sorin Savax is not standing alone!”
Rick
Granger:
“No, but I don’t think this issue is anywhere close to over.”
The camera
cuts backstage to Larry Morton, standing in the interview area with an
HCW microphone in hand. Beside him stands Aurora Storm, focused and
composed, dressed for competition with an intense look in her eyes.
Larry
Morton:
“Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time… Aurora Storm.”
Aurora
gives a small nod, her attention already fixed somewhere beyond the camera.
Larry
Morton:
“Aurora, in just a short while, you’ll be stepping into a high-stakes
contender’s match in the Heritage Women’s division. The opportunity in front of
you is enormous, but so is the danger — especially when your opponent is Selena
Blackfang. What’s going through your mind right now?”
Aurora
takes a breath before answering, steady and direct.
Aurora
Storm:
“What’s going through my mind, Larry, is simple. Opportunity doesn’t come
around every night in HCW. You can spend your whole career waiting for the
right moment… or you can take it when it finally shows up.”
She looks
directly into the camera.
Aurora
Storm:
“And I didn’t come here to wait.”
Aurora’s
tone sharpens.
Aurora
Storm:
“I know exactly what’s on the other side of that curtain. Selena Blackfang
is dangerous. She’s ruthless, she’s vicious, and she doesn’t need much space to
turn a match into a fight.”
Aurora
nods once.
Aurora
Storm:
“That’s not a secret. Everybody knows it.”
She steps
a little closer to the camera.
Aurora
Storm:
“But what people need to understand about me is this — I’m not walking into
that ring scared of her. I’m walking into that ring ready for her.”
Larry
Morton:
“You sound very certain.”
Aurora
Storm:
“I am certain.”
A beat.
Aurora
Storm:
“Because this isn’t just about beating one opponent. This is about moving
forward. This is about proving I belong in that title picture. This is about
showing everybody in this division that when the pressure goes up, I don’t
fold.”
Aurora
points to herself.
Aurora
Storm:
“I rise.”
Larry
Morton:
“But Selena Blackfang has made a career out of dragging people into deep water
and keeping them there. If she does that tonight, what happens then?”
Aurora
gives a faint, confident smile.
Aurora
Storm:
“Then she finds out storms don’t drown, Larry.”
The crowd
in the arena can be heard reacting from off-camera.
Aurora
Storm:
“She can bring the fight. She can bring the chaos. She can try to make this
ugly.”
Aurora’s
expression hardens.
Aurora
Storm:
“But if Selena wants a war for that contender’s spot… then she’s getting one.”
Larry
Morton:
“Strong words from Aurora Storm, who looks ready for one of the biggest
matches of her HCW career.”
Aurora
keeps her eyes on the camera for one more moment, then steps out of frame as
the segment comes to a close.
Larry
Morton:
“Back to ringside.”
The camera
returns to ringside where Sam Duffy and Rick Granger are standing
by.
Sam
Duffy:
“Strong words from Aurora Storm, and you can feel how much this
opportunity means to her.”
Rick
Granger:
“She talks a good game, Sam, but talking about storms and rising up is a lot
easier than surviving Selena Blackfang. Selena doesn’t just beat people
— she breaks their rhythm, their confidence, and sometimes their will.”
Sam
Duffy:
“That may be true, but Aurora doesn’t look intimidated in the slightest. She
knows what’s at stake, and she sounds ready for the fight of her life.”
Rick
Granger:
“Well, she better be. Because if she hesitates for even one second against
Selena Blackfang, this contender’s match could be over in a hurry.”
Sam
Duffy:
“It is time for our next contest, and this one has major implications in the
Heritage Women’s division.”
The arena
lights begin to dim as anticipation builds for the next high-stakes showdown.
The lights
in the arena shift to a cool electric blue as energy begins to build throughout
the crowd.
A sharp
burst of light flashes across the stage.
Then the
music hits.
“Thunder
Queen” by Neon Tempest
The crowd
responds immediately with a strong pop as Aurora Storm steps out onto
the stage, focused and ready. She pauses for a moment at the top of the ramp,
taking in the reaction, then throws one arm into the air as blue-white lighting
pulses around the arena.
Sam
Duffy:
“Listen to this crowd! They are firmly behind Aurora Storm tonight!”
Rick
Granger:
“They like the entrance, Sam. Let’s see if they like what happens when the bell
rings.”
Aurora
starts down the ramp with purpose, eyes locked on the ring. There is no wasted
motion tonight. No playing to the moment for long. She knows what this match
means.
At
ringside, Aurora circles the ring, climbs onto the apron, and steps through the
ropes. She moves to her corner, pacing lightly, keeping her focus forward as
the crowd continues to cheer her on.
The lights
suddenly fall darker.
A low,
ominous tone rolls through the building.
Then—
“Venom
in Velvet” by Black Cathedral
Boos pour
down as Selena Blackfang emerges onto the stage, cold and composed, with
Count Vlad stepping out beside her. Vlad carries himself with complete
assurance, almost amused by the hostility from the crowd, while Selena remains
locked in on the ring with a dangerous, predatory calm.
Sam
Duffy:
“And here comes Selena Blackfang… with Count Vlad right at her side.”
Rick
Granger:
“Exactly where he belongs. A woman this dangerous deserves to walk in with
power behind her.”
Selena
slowly makes her way down the ramp, never taking her eyes off Aurora Storm.
Count Vlad lingers just half a step behind, his expression unreadable,
as if he already knows how this ends.
Aurora
stands in her corner, staring back without flinching.
Selena
reaches ringside and ascends the steps with deliberate confidence. She steps
through the ropes and moves to the center of the ring, never blinking as she
and Aurora lock eyes.
Sam
Duffy:
“This one feels explosive already.”
Rick
Granger:
“It should. One woman wants opportunity. The other one wants domination.”
'Honest'
Abe steps
forward and signals both competitors to their corners.
The
tension inside the ring is immediate.
Aurora
Storm.
Selena Blackfang.
A shot at the Heritage Women’s Championship on the line.
The bell
rings and both women come out swinging, wasting no time in establishing just
how much this opportunity means. Aurora Storm lands first with a sharp Hair
Whip, igniting the crowd early, but Selena Blackfang quickly answers
with a nasty Snap Suplex that reminds everyone exactly how dangerous she
can be.
Sam
Duffy:
“This is a huge opportunity for both women, and neither one is wasting any
time!”
Rick
Granger:
“And this is why I said Aurora better be ready, Sam. Selena Blackfang doesn’t
care about momentum, emotion, or the crowd. She cares about damage.”
Aurora
settles in and begins finding her rhythm, driving Selena down with a Powerslam
and then a smooth Delayed Vertical Suplex, showing both power and
composure against one of the division’s most intimidating threats. Selena,
however, keeps dragging the match back into rough waters with heavy slams,
including repeated Fallaway Slams and a punishing Powerbomb that
nearly shifts control in her favor for good.
At
ringside, Count Vlad watches every second with cold intensity,
occasionally lending his presence to Selena’s side of the match, but Aurora
refuses to be thrown off. When Selena tries to press the advantage again,
Aurora counters beautifully, reversing another Fallaway Slam into a
crushing Lightning Breaker that brings the crowd to its feet.
The match
becomes a hard-hitting back-and-forth battle from there. Selena grinds forward
with a Cloverleaf, a Snap Suplex, and more punishing throws,
while Aurora keeps answering with explosive offense of her own, including an Air
Raid Crash Over Knee Neckbreaker and a huge 450 Splash that nearly
ends it.
Sam
Duffy:
“Aurora Storm is throwing everything she has at Selena Blackfang!”
Rick
Granger:
“She may have to, because Selena is still standing — and that’s the scary
part.”
Selena
kicks out of Aurora’s pin attempt, but the challenger never lets frustration
creep in. Instead, Aurora stays aggressive, stays focused, and keeps the
pressure on. In the final moments, she catches Selena clean and plants her with
the Alley Oop Facebuster.
ONE!
TWO! THREE!
DING
DING DING
Sam
Duffy:
“She got her! Aurora Storm has done it!”
Rick
Granger:
“I’ll give her this — that was a big win. A very big win.”
Aurora
Storm rises in the ring, breathing hard but triumphant, as the crowd erupts
around her. 'Honest' Abe raises her hand in victory.
Aurora
Storm is now the new #1 contender to the Heritage Women’s Championship.
Selena
Blackfang rolls near the ropes as the referee checks on her, while at ringside Count
Vlad stands motionless.
Not angry.
Not surprised.
Simply watching.
Aurora
raises her arms to the crowd as they cheer loudly. The referee gestures toward
her, emphasizing what this victory means.
A future
championship opportunity secured.
Aurora
steps through the ropes and begins walking up the ramp. Halfway up, she stops
and glances back toward the ring.
Vlad is
still there.
Still
watching.
The two
lock eyes briefly.
No words.
Just a silent moment of recognition.
Aurora
turns and continues up the ramp.
Back in
the ring, Count Vlad slowly steps through the ropes and retrieves a
microphone. The arena grows quieter.
Count
Vlad:
“So much hope.”
A faint
smile spreads across his face.
Count
Vlad:
“So much fire.”
He tilts
his head slightly as he watches Aurora disappear backstage.
Count
Vlad:
“And yet… every flame eventually learns the same lesson.”
A pause.
Count
Vlad:
“The night… always wins.”
Vlad
lowers the microphone.
The
Dominion music begins to play as he exits the ring slowly.
Sam
Duffy:
“I don’t like the sound of that at all.”
Rick
Granger:
“Don’t like it? I think it sounds like prophecy, Sam.”
The camera
cuts backstage to Max McGillicutty’s office.
Max is
standing behind his desk, reviewing paperwork, when there is a firm knock at
the door.
Before Max
can fully respond, the door opens and Jack Lumber steps inside.
The crowd
pops immediately.
Jack
doesn’t look angry.
He doesn’t look emotional.
He looks
focused.
Max slowly
sets the papers down and studies him carefully.
Max
McGillicutty:
“Well now… this should be interesting.”
Jack steps
forward, not wasting time.
Jack
Lumber:
“I’m not here to argue.”
A beat.
Jack
Lumber:
“I’m here to make something official.”
Max folds
his hands, intrigued.
Max
McGillicutty:
“Go on.”
Jack
reaches into his jacket and pulls out the contract.
He sets it
down on the desk.
Max’s eyes
drop to it.
Then back
up to Jack.
Jack
Lumber:
“That contract says I can cash in for any title currently defended in HCW.”
Max nods
slowly.
Max
McGillicutty:
“That is correct.”
Jack
Lumber:
“Good.”
Jack leans
slightly forward.
Jack
Lumber:
“Then I don’t want the Men’s World Championship.”
That line
hangs in the air for a second.
Max’s
eyebrows rise.
Max
McGillicutty:
“No?”
Jack
shakes his head once.
Jack
Lumber:
“No. Not now.”
Another
beat.
Jack
Lumber:
“I want the Convergent Championship.”
That
lands.
Max
straightens up a little, now fully invested.
Max
McGillicutty:
“The Convergent Championship.”
Jack never
breaks eye contact.
Jack
Lumber:
“At Critical Mass.”
A slow
smile starts to form on Max’s face — not mocking, but impressed.
Max
McGillicutty:
“Well.”
He steps
out from behind the desk.
Max
McGillicutty:
“I’ll admit, Jack… that’s not what I expected.”
Jack’s
voice stays steady.
Jack
Lumber:
“You’ve got a lot of people chasing power around here. A lot of people
protecting territory. A lot of people talking about what matters most.”
He taps
the contract on the desk.
Jack
Lumber:
“I’m done talking.”
Jack
Lumber:
“I want the fight that means something.”
Max
circles slightly, clearly thinking this through.
Max
McGillicutty:
“You understand what you’re asking for.”
Jack
Lumber:
“I do.”
Max
McGillicutty:
“And you understand once this is official, there’s no changing your mind.”
Jack
Lumber:
“I’m not changing my mind.”
Max looks
down at the contract again, then back at Jack.
Max
McGillicutty:
“Jack Lumber versus the Convergent Champion…whoever it may be… at Critical
Mass.”
He gives a
slow nod.
Max
McGillicutty:
“That is very, very interesting.”
Jack takes
a half step back.
Jack
Lumber:
“Make it happen.”
Jack turns
and heads for the door.
Before he
exits, Max speaks again.
Max
McGillicutty:
“You know, Jack… this changes a lot.”
Jack stops
at the door but doesn’t turn around.
Jack
Lumber:
“That’s the idea.”
Jack
exits.
Max
remains in the office, staring at the contract on his desk with a thoughtful
expression.
Max
McGillicutty:
“Oh, this just got complicated.”
The camera
lingers on Max for a moment longer before fading back toward ringside.
Sam
Duffy:
“Did we just hear that right? Jack Lumber wants the Convergent Championship at
Critical Mass?”
Rick
Granger:
“And now Max McGillicutty has a bomb in his lap, Sam. That contract just
changed the entire conversation.”
Sam
Duffy:
“What a
massive development as we head toward our main event!”
The camera
returns to ringside as the anticipation inside the arena begins to rise.
Sam
Duffy:
“We are back, and after that huge announcement involving Jack Lumber and
Max McGillicutty, it is time for our main event.”
Rick
Granger:
“And what a main event it is. Gold on the line, pride on the line, and a
challenger who has been waiting for a moment exactly like this.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Biceps Bannerman has earned this opportunity, and tonight he gets his shot at
the Television Championship.”
Rick
Granger:
“Earned it, sure. But now he has to survive The Rich Athlete. That’s a
very different problem.”
The lights
in the building shift.
A low
rumble moves through the crowd before giving way to a strong babyface reaction.
Then the
music hits.
“Built
to Endure” by Iron Anthem
The crowd
pops as Biceps Bannerman steps onto the stage, fired up and focused for
the biggest match of the night. He pauses at the top of the ramp, looks out at
the fans, and slaps his chest once before throwing his arms wide.
Sam
Duffy:
“Listen to this reaction! The people know how much this means to Biceps
Bannerman!”
Rick
Granger:
“They love muscle, they love effort, they love a guy who looks like he was
sculpted out of concrete. I get it.”
Bannerman
starts down the ramp with determined purpose, not taking his eyes off the ring.
There is no showboating tonight beyond the energy of the moment. This is
business.
At
ringside, he circles the ring, climbs onto the apron, and steps through the
ropes. He throws one arm in the air again, drawing another big reaction before
backing into his corner and loosening up.
Then—
The lights
dim to a golden glow.
A flashy
spotlight sweeps across the stage.
And
suddenly—
“Diamonds
in the Distance” by The Platinum Circuit
A wave of
boos pours down as The Rich Athlete emerges onto the stage in all his
arrogant glory, Television Championship around his waist, with Ruth
Heartless at his side.
He takes
two slow steps out, throws his head back, and at the top of his lungs...
The
Rich Athlete:
“WOOOOOOOO!”
The boos
grow even louder.
Rick
Granger:
“Now that is how a champion enters a building.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Oh brother.”
The Rich
Athlete struts across the stage, showing off the title, then points to himself
with both hands as Ruth smirks beside him. He spins once, flashes a grin toward
the hard camera, and gives another sharp—
The
Rich Athlete:
“WOOO!”
Sam
Duffy:
“He may be insufferable, but there is no denying his confidence.”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s not confidence, Sam. That is championship class. That is style. That is
presence. That is a man who knows he’s better than you and wants you to know it
too.”
Rich
Athlete begins the walk to the ring like he owns the building, pausing every
few steps to adjust the title, shout at fans, and bask in the noise raining
down on him.
The
Rich Athlete:
“WOOO! Look at that! Look at greatness!”
Ruth
Heartless applauds him like she’s escorting royalty.
At
ringside, Rich Athlete climbs the steps, wipes his boots dramatically on the
apron, and steps into the ring with exaggerated swagger. He removes the title,
holds it high in one hand, then turns toward Bannerman with a smug grin.
The
Rich Athlete:
“You wanna be the man, big boy? WOOOO!”
Bannerman
just stares back, stone-faced.
Sam
Duffy:
“Biceps Bannerman looks ready to fight right now.”
Rick
Granger:
“And The Rich Athlete looks ready to embarrass him.”
Rich
Athlete hands the title to Ruth Heartless, then peels off his robe with
a flourish and spins in place, arms out wide, soaking in the heat.
The
Rich Athlete:
“Television Champion! Stylin’, profilin’, limousine ridin’, jet flyin’— WOOOO!”
Sam
Duffy:
“He has not stopped talking since he came through the curtain.”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s because greatness speaks, Sam.”
'Honest'
Abe steps in
and calls both men toward the center.
Bannerman
steps forward with intensity.
The Rich
Athlete smirks, says one more quiet—
The
Rich Athlete:
“Woo.”
—and backs
into his corner.
The
Television Championship is raised high.
Main event
time.
Once the
match began, The Rich Athlete immediately went after Bannerman’s leg,
chopping him down with shin breakers and keeping the pace exactly where he
wanted it.
Rick
Granger:
“Now that is championship wrestling, Sam! Pick a body part, stay on it, and
make the big man carry damage the whole way.”
Bannerman
refused to be bullied, though, and answered back with raw force. A spinebuster
shook the ring, and later he clamped on the Biceps Crunch, forcing the champion
into a rare moment of visible panic. Bannerman kept landing heavy shots
whenever he could create space, and every time it looked like The Rich
Athlete might start pulling away, the challenger slammed the door shut with
brute power.
The
champion kept jawing, posturing, and sneering through the punishment, slipping
back into control with kneedrops, suplexes, and that smug, methodical pacing
that made every second feel like an insult.
Sam
Duffy:
“Biceps Bannerman is giving the champion everything he can handle here!”
Rick
Granger:
“And the champion is still standing, Sam! That’s why he’s the titleholder!”
The match
turned uglier late. Bannerman had momentum, and that was when Ruth Heartless
began sticking her hands into the fight. A blast of hairspray and repeated
distractions halted the challenger at the worst possible time, buying The
Rich Athlete the opening he needed. Bannerman battled through it and even
came roaring back with a huge Full Nelson Lift & Slam for a near fall that
had the crowd believing.
But that
opening had cost him.
The
challenger was still fighting uphill when the champion struck again, driving
him down with the Seven-Figure Suplex and finally keeping him down for the
three-count.
Sam
Duffy:
“No! Biceps Bannerman had fought his way back into this, and once again Ruth
Heartless tipped the scales!”
Rick
Granger:
“Oh stop crying about it, Sam! Winners use every advantage available, and The
Rich Athlete is still your HCW Television Champion!”
After the
bell, The Rich Athlete rolled off Bannerman with a self-satisfied grin
and immediately demanded his title be handed to him. Ruth Heartless slid into
the ring beside him, applauding like she had just watched a masterpiece. The
champion snatched the belt, held it high over his head, and shouted another
triumphant “Wooooo!” toward the crowd.
Bannerman
sat up slowly in the corner, frustrated but defiant, clearly knowing he had
been beaten by more than just the man in front of him.
Sam
Duffy:
“Biceps Bannerman has nothing to be ashamed of tonight. He brought the fight,
but the numbers game caught up with him.”
Rick
Granger:
“The record books don’t say ‘almost,’ Sam. They say The Rich Athlete
retained.”
The camera
followed the champion and Ruth as they backed up the ramp, The Rich Athlete
still shouting, still bragging, still clutching the Television Title like a
king protecting his crown.
Back in
the ring, Bannerman got to his feet to a respectful ovation from the Voltage
audience, disappointed but not broken.
Sam
Duffy:
“For Rick Granger, I’m Sam Duffy thanking you for joining us
tonight.”
Rick
Granger:
“And what a night it was! Championships, controversy, and one very rich main
event!”
Sam
Duffy:
“We’ll see you next time right here on HCW Voltage!”
The final
shot is of The Rich Athlete at the top of the stage, raising the HCW
Television Championship overhead while Ruth Heartless stands just behind him
smiling coldly, as the show fades to black.
