The show opens with fireworks blasting above the stage and the crowd in Charlotte roaring. Signs wave through the arena: “DOWN WITH THE DOMINION,” “NPCW VS HCW = WAR,” and “IN VLAD WE DISTRUST.” The HCW Live Wire theme crashes to a close as cameras swing to the commentary desk where Mike “the Voice” Johnson and Johnny “the Hammer” Harris are on their feet, buzzing with energy.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter! We’re live from Charlotte, North Carolina, and folks—strap yourselves in because the entire wrestling world has been turned upside down! The announcement has been made: HCW and NPCW are set to collide at Convergence! It’s official, it’s happening, and I don’t think this business will ever be the same again.”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Mike, this isn’t just a dream match situation, this is war. We’re talking about two federations with decades of blood, sweat, and grudges between them. Now the walls are coming down, and we’re going to find out who really rules the wrestling world. And let me tell you something—if HCW thinks they’re just gonna march into Convergence and outshine NPCW, they’ve got another thing coming.”
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Now hold on, Johnny—HCW has faced giants, conquerors, and the Dark Dominion itself! This roster has proven time and again that they won’t back down. And Convergence is our chance to prove once and for all that HCW is the heart and soul of professional wrestling!”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Oh, give me a break, Mike. NPCW’s got killers in their ranks—monsters that make even Beastfang look like a housecat. They’ve got veterans who’ve been to the mountaintop more times than half this roster’s even laced their boots. You really think HCW’s ragtag heroes can stop that?”
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“I’ll tell you what I think—I think this roster’s got the fight, the guts, and the passion to shock the world! Zack Brown, Ashley Summers, Jax Brenner, Talia Nocturne, the Samoan Bloodline—these are names that command respect everywhere. And when the bell rings at Convergence, HCW will be ready!”
The crowd roars “H-C-W! H-C-W!” in unison. Signs waving, fans stomping the floor.
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“You can chant all you want, but chants don’t win fights. Convergence is going to expose a lot of people in that locker room. And I’ll be the first to say it: if HCW isn’t careful, this could be the night the Dominion looks like the least of our problems.”
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Well fans, questions are swirling, matches are being negotiated, and we know one thing for sure: the road to Convergence starts tonight, right here in Charlotte! But we can’t overlook what’s happening here on Live Wire either—we’ve got a blockbuster lineup. Beastfang defends the Television Championship with his mysterious ‘friend’ Mindy in the front row, Talia Nocturne puts the Heritage Women’s Title on the line against Penny Hall, and so much more.”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And it all kicks off with the debut of Burley Barkley, a big ol’ bruiser stepping into the HCW ring for the first time. But he’s going up against the Bounty Hunter Jake Montrose—a man who doesn’t care about making friends, only collecting scalps.”
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“This is a night where new stars can rise, where champions are tested, and where every wrestler in HCW knows the eyes of NPCW are watching. The road to Convergence begins here—and it starts now!”
Camera cuts to the ring where Tony Calibur is ready with his microphone, and Burley Barkley and Jake Montrose prepare to kick off the action.
The arena lights dim, and a twang of outlaw-style guitar hits the speakers. The screen flashes with images of wanted posters and dusty backroads. Jake “The Bounty Hunter” Montrose steps through the curtain in a black duster coat, a coiled bullrope over one shoulder. He doesn’t slap hands, but he doesn’t sneer either—just keeps a hard stare as he stalks toward the ring, jaw tight and eyes scanning the crowd.
Tony Calibur (in-ring):
“Ladies and gentlemen, this contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Amarillo, Texas, weighing in at 267 pounds… The Bounty Hunter… JAKE MONTROSE!”
Montrose climbs the steps, wipes his boots on the apron, and slowly removes his coat. He gives the crowd a slight smirk as they boo, tossing his rope into the corner like he’s staking his claim.
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“That’s a dangerous man, Mike. He doesn’t care if you’re a rookie or a legend, if there’s a bounty on your head, Jake Montrose is coming to collect. And Burley Barkley better be ready, because Montrose doesn’t give out warm welcomes.”
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“I’ll give you that, Johnny, Montrose is one of the toughest we’ve got—but tonight, Charlotte is about to meet one of HCW’s newest powerhouses.”
Suddenly, upbeat brass-band music kicks in, full of fun swagger. The crowd lights up as Burley Barkley appears on the stage, waving cheerfully with a giant grin. He’s all broad shoulders and overalls, clapping his hands along with the beat. Fans cheer as he points out signs with his name on them and waves like he’s greeting old friends.
Tony Calibur:
“And his opponent… making his HCW debut! From Knoxville, Tennessee, weighing in at 315 pounds… BURLEY BARKLEY!”
Burley slaps hands down the aisle, even stopping to high-five a kid in the front row who’s holding a handmade “Burley’s Gonna Bark!” sign. He steps into the ring, gives the crowd another big wave, and stomps his boots with a playful grin, showing he’s ready to throw down but still carrying that good-natured energy.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Listen to this crowd, Johnny! Charlotte has already taken a shine to Burley Barkley—look at that smile, look at that energy! The man’s built like a mountain, but he’s got the heart of a good ol’ country boy.”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Smile all you want, Mike. But once that bell rings, Jake Montrose is gonna see if this ‘big friendly giant’ act can stand up to a fight. And if Burley can’t, Montrose is gonna leave him lying flat on that canvas.”
The referee calls both men to the center, and the bell rings to start the debut match.
Match #1: Burley Barkley vs The Bounty Hunter Jake Montrose
The Charlotte crowd comes alive as Jake Montrose storms to the ring first, the bullrope slung over his shoulder and a scowl plastered across his face. He glares at ringside fans before climbing through the ropes, pacing like a predator. The cheers swell when Burley Barkley appears at the curtain, waving with a huge grin, clapping along with the crowd before climbing into the ring to a raucous ovation.
The bell rings and Montrose wastes no time, cracking Burley with a vicious headbutt drop that nearly ends things in the opening minute. He hooks the leg—
Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “Oh, no! Barkley might be finished before he even starts!”
But Burley kicks out at one, rallying the fans.
Montrose keeps the pressure on with a backbreaker and repeated forearms, but Burley answers back with his Avalanche splash, sending the Bounty Hunter tumbling across the canvas. He tries for the pin—
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “This rookie doesn’t know better—Montrose is tougher than that!”
Back and forth they go—Montrose with elbows, Burley with a towering suplex and the Moonshine Smash, each time bringing the crowd to their feet. By the eleventh minute, Barkley launches Montrose high with a back body drop, crashing him to the mat. He covers—
Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “That’s gotta do it!”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “No way, Montrose has more fight than—”
1…2…3!
The bell rings, and the crowd erupts as Burley rises with both arms raised high, beaming ear to ear in victory.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson: “What a debut! Burley Barkley just put HCW on notice!”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris: “Enjoy the moment, Mike. Because a smile and a back body drop won’t get him far against the real killers in this company.”
Winner: Burley Barkley (via pinfall, Back Body Drop)
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Burley Barkley kicks off his HCW career in style, folks! That’s a debut win over one of the toughest men on the roster, the Bounty Hunter himself. What a moment here in Charlotte!”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Yeah, yeah—he’s big, he’s smiling, and tonight he got lucky. But let’s see how this happy-go-lucky hillbilly country boy does when someone brings real fire to the fight. Montrose had him down early, Mike—Burley just got the breaks this time.”
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Well whether you call it luck or power, the people here are solidly behind Burley Barkley, and you can bet this won’t be the last time we see him light up an HCW crowd!”
The camera cuts backstage for a momentary tease of Count Vlad’s office, shadows and candles flickering around the Dominion’s meeting table.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“And speaking of shadows… later tonight, we’ll hear from the Dark Dominion as they plot their path toward Convergence. But right now, tag team action is on deck—let’s head to the ring for the Sons of Anarchy taking on the New Sicilians!”
The arena plunges into a pulsing red-and-black light as the sound of revving motorcycles echoes through the PA. The Sons of Anarchy roll out to a thunderous ovation, leather vests draped over their gear, chains hanging loose as they stomp toward the ring. The crowd rallies behind them, fists pumping as the Sons climb the turnbuckles, barking out to the Charlotte faithful.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“The Sons of Anarchy don’t back down from anybody, Hammer, and tonight they’re going up against one of the dirtiest families in this sport—the New Sicilians!”
The mood shifts instantly when the opening riff of “Blood Oath” by Black Vendetta hits, ushering in the swaggering presence of Pierre Boulay. Dressed in a sharp pinstripe suit, Pierre sneers at the crowd and gestures grandly toward the entrance. Out step Dirty Dick Albano and Vicious Vinnie Albano, the New Sicilians, jeered mercilessly as they strut in unison. Gold chains clatter, hair slicked back, their faces twisted in arrogance. Pierre points toward the ring like a mob boss sending soldiers into battle.
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Now there’s a tag team with class, Mike. The New Sicilians are cutthroat, cunning, and mean as rattlesnakes—everything a tag team should be. And with Pierre Boulay steering the ship, the Sons of Anarchy better have their affairs in order.”
The Sicilians step into the ring slowly, removing their chains and jackets with deliberate menace while Pierre circles at ringside, wagging a finger toward the Sons and jawing with the fans. The Sons of Anarchy stand tall in their corner, ready to throw hands.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“This one’s not going to be pretty, folks—this is going to be a fight.”
Match #2: Sons of Anarchy vs the New Sicilians w/ Pierre Boulay
VS
The crowd in Charlotte is buzzing as the Sons of Anarchy pound their fists together in the ring, daring the Sicilians to bring it. Across from them, Pierre Boulay barks orders like a mob boss, pointing his finger at his nephews and then at the Sons.
The bell rings, and Dirty Dick Albano starts with Drew. He clamps on a smothering chinlock right out of the gate, grinding down hard while sneering at the crowd. He tags in Vicious Vinnie, who storms in with his Starboard Smash that rocks Drew to the mat.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“The Sicilians are trying to squeeze the fight out of Drew before this one really gets started.”
But Drew isn’t staying down. He counters with a La Casita roll-up, nearly stealing it, and the crowd erupts when he scrambles to tag in Stache. The fresh Son bursts in with a dropkick that staggers Vinnie, only for Pierre to reach in and hook his boot. Honest Abe misses it, and Vinnie regains control with a cheap shot.
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“See that, Mike? That’s the difference—brains on the outside. Boulay knows exactly when to step in!”
The match turns rough. Stache gets tossed outside and barely makes it back in before the count of eight. Drew rallies with a superkick on Dick for a close two-count, but the Sicilians keep grinding them down with tags and brawling tactics. At one point, all four men spill into the action—Drew launching a corkscrew pescado while Stache clotheslines Vinnie nearly out of his boots.
The Albano brothers recover long enough to isolate Stache. Dick plants him with a sidewalk slam on the apron, rolling him in for what looks like the kill. Pierre shouts, “Finish it!”—but Stache fires back with the crowd chanting “S.O.A.! S.O.A.!”
The momentum swings hard. Stache and Drew hit a double combo—Drew with a headscissors takedown, Stache cracking Dick with the Lasso Clothesline that turns him inside out. The cover is tight—
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“This could be it!”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“No way—”
1…2…3!
The bell rings and the arena explodes in cheers. The Sons of Anarchy embrace, climbing the ropes and pumping fists while Pierre throws his jacket against the apron in disgust. The Sicilians stagger up the aisle, shouting threats, but their first outing against the Sons ends in bitter defeat.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“The Sons of Anarchy just fought through every trick in the book and came out victorious!”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Don’t celebrate too much, Mike. The Sicilians don’t forget an insult—and tonight, the Sons of Anarchy just signed themselves up for payback.”
Backstage Segment – The Dark Dominion in Vlad’s Office (Post-Match #2)
The camera cuts backstage. Vlad’s office glows with flickering candlelight, crimson curtains, and heavy stone walls. A long oak table dominates the room. At the head sits Count Vlad, calm and regal, hands folded. Max McGillicutty stands beside him with that ever-present smirk. Around the table sits the Dominion in full force: The Yeti, Feral, Jack “Timberfang” Lumber, Selena “Widow’s Fang” Blackfang, the Nightstalkers, Wilber “Terror Fang” Townsend, The Morningstar, Beastfang, the Fangs of Despair, Talia Nocturne, Azrael, Grizelda, Mina Harker, and Korbi Kong. Their championships gleam across the table like trophies of conquest.
Max McGillicutty (grinning):
“Convergence. Everybody’s talking about it. HCW and NPCW colliding. But let’s be real—it’s not HCW versus NPCW. It’s the Dominion against everyone. HCW already belongs to us. And Convergence? That’s where the rest of the world learns the same lesson.”
Count Vlad (calm, deliberate):
“Convergence is not simply an event. It is a reckoning. The world expects a contest of companies, of brands. But what they will see is something far greater. They will see inevitability. They will see the Dark Dominion.”
Jack “Timberfang” Lumber (tapping his World Title):
“Let NPCW send whoever they want. I’ve chopped down Brown. I buried the Prophet. At Convergence, it doesn’t matter who it is—timber’s gonna fall on ’em.”
Selena “Widow’s Fang” Blackfang (cold, venomous):
“NPCW’s women call themselves Champions. More like Pretenders. At Convergence, I’ll lace their crowns with poison and leave them crawling. This Ladies World Champion will prove the Dark Dominion is unstoppable.”
Bloodfang Viktor Drakov (snarling):
“NPCW’s teams won’t survive the hunt.”
Shadowfang Marcus Black (nodding):
“Their brightest hopes will vanish when night falls. And night always falls.”
Count Vlad (turning his gaze to Wilber):
“And you, Wilber… your road does not end here. You will go north. You will stand beside Krampus. Tomorrow, you will carry the Dominion’s message into NPCW itself.”
Wilber “Terror Fang” Townsend (smiling with eerie delight, voice like a hushed hymn):
“Ohhh, I’ll go, my Count… I’ll go gladly. Krampus and I will spread your gospel in blood and fire. Let NPCW’s children tremble, let their heroes shiver in the snow… because when the bells toll and the shadows stretch… the Terror comes with a smile.”
The Morningstar (Hell’s Fang, low laugh):
“They think they know hardcore. They don’t. At Convergence, I’ll baptize their bravest in fire until they beg for the dark.”
Beastfang (snarling, clutching his belt):
“Van Helsing thinks he’s hunting me? He is wrong. At Convergence, let them send their hunters, their monsters. I’ll crush them all, break their bones, and feed the Dominion with the scraps.”
Dr. Red Fang (exploding suddenly):
“VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYBODY!”
No one flinches—they’re used to it.
Talia Nocturne (smirking):
“And then there’s Mean Jack Mason. He thinks he has a chance with me. A chance?” She laughs softly. “Mason may call himself a champion, but he is not in my league. He is not even in my shadow.”
Count Vlad (smiling faintly, measured):
“Talia, my dark daughter… you are the Nighttime Heiress. The crown of night rests with you, and with you alone. Anyone thinking otherwise is… mistaken.”
Azrael (low, foreboding):
“At Convergence, I see ruin. Not victory for HCW. Not victory for NPCW. Only ruin. And from ruin, the Dominion rises.”
Grizelda (hissing, whisper-like):
“And when the smoke clears, the last sound they hear will be our laughter in the ashes.”
Mina Harker (steady, voice carrying hunger):
“I once tried to resist the dark. That was weakness. At Convergence, I’ll show NPCW’s women the truth—that the Dominion always wins.”
Korbi Kong (slamming her fist):
“Let NPCW send their beasts, their giants, their champions. I’ll break them all and hand their remains to the Dominion.”
At this, a voice rumbles low from the corner.
Max McGillicutty (smirking, gesturing):
“And what about you, Yeti? What’s it like to be heading back to your old stomping grounds?”
The Yeti (gravelly, deliberate):
“Cold winds. Old ghosts. I remember them all. NPCW forged me in frost and fury… but when I return, it will not be as their beast. It will be as Vlad’s monster. And the snow will run red with Dominion.”
Max McGillicutty (slapping the table):
“That’s the message! HCW, NPCW—it doesn’t matter. At Convergence, the Dominion doesn’t just win. We consume.”
Count Vlad (rising slowly, eyes burning with calm certainty):
“This is not about two banners. It is about history. When Convergence ends, they will not remember HCW. They will not remember NPCW. They will remember only one empire. One inevitable truth. That the Dark Dominion is forever.”
He spreads his arms, as though addressing a congregation.
Count Vlad (quiet finality):
“In Vlad… we trust.”
The camera pans across the Dominion—champions, monsters, predators, all nodding in unison—before fading back to the arena.
The feed cuts back to the arena, where the crowd is buzzing after the ominous words from Count Vlad and his legion.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson (measured, uneasy):
“I don’t know about you, Johnny, but that was downright chilling. The Dark Dominion isn’t just talking about Convergence—they’re promising total domination.”
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris (half-smirking):
“Chilling? Mike, that’s an understatement. That was an army sitting around that table. Titles everywhere you looked. Vlad’s right—this isn’t HCW versus NPCW anymore. It’s Vlad’s empire against the world.”
Mike "the Voice" Johnson:
“And did you hear the Yeti? He’s heading back to NPCW, and it sounds like he’s going to bring a storm with him.”
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:
“I’ll say this—if you’re on the other side of that battlefield, you better pack more than a winter coat.”
The commentary team takes a moment, letting the gravity of the moment sink in before turning their attention back to the ring.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson (shifting tone):
“But right now, folks, it’s time to move on with Live Wire action. Up next, Nico Burnett steps into the ring with Adam Jameson!”
Tony Calibur (ring announcer):
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall!”
The crowd perks up as the arena lights pulse with blue and white. “Born to Run Wild” by High Voltage Saints blasts through the PA, and the fans cheer loudly.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson (excited):
“Here he comes, one of HCW’s most respected young stars—Adam Jameson!”
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris (dryly):
“Respected, sure. But let’s be honest, Mike, respect doesn’t win you matches. Nico Burnett doesn’t give a damn how many handshakes Adam’s had backstage.”
Adam bursts through the curtain, smiling and slapping hands with the fans along the aisle. He points toward the ring, full of energy, then slides in under the bottom rope, popping up with his fists raised to another cheer from the Charlotte crowd.
Tony Calibur:
“Introducing first, from Columbus, Ohio, weighing in at 228 pounds—Adam Jameson!”
Adam takes to the turnbuckle, pumping up the fans, before hopping down and loosening up.
The lights dim, shifting to red and gold as “Hot Stuff Forever” by The Glam Inferno hits. Boos rain down immediately. Nico Burnett swaggers onto the stage in a sequined robe, smug grin across his face. Right behind him, clutching a tennis racket and barking orders, is his manager Julian Furnace, grinning ear-to-ear as if he’s already won the match.
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris (grinning):
“Now that’s an entrance, Mike! Look at the confidence, look at the style. Nico Burnett doesn’t even need to wrestle—he’s got Julian Furnace to do half the thinking for him.”
Mike "the Voice" Johnson (firmly):
“Julian Furnace is a loudmouth, and Nico Burnett’s arrogance knows no bounds. But when that bell rings, it comes down to what you can do inside the ropes.”
Nico takes his time walking down the aisle, mocking the fans as Julian shouts insults into the crowd. Nico pauses to flex, drawing heavy jeers, then steps through the ropes like he owns the ring.
Tony Calibur:
“And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Julian Furnace, from Palm Beach, Florida, weighing in at 236 pounds—representing Hot Stuff Inc…Nico ‘the Inferno’ Burnett!”
Nico shrugs off his robe, handing it to Julian, and mouths off to Adam Jameson while pacing the ring. Julian points the racket at Adam, jawing at him as the referee, Honest Abe, steps between them to hold the line before the bell.
Match #3: Nico Burnett w/ Julian Furnace vs Adam Jameson
The momentum shifted back and forth—Nico used his ring smarts to counter Jameson’s aerial game, landing a nasty hot shot across the ropes, while Adam rallied with a series of gut busters and even nailed his signature Adam Bomb for a near fall.
Mike "the Voice" Johnson (excited):
“Adam Jameson had him there! If not for that kickout, this one was over!”
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris (smirking):
“Mike, Nico Burnett doesn’t get paid by the hour. He survives, he adapts, and with Julian Furnace in his corner, he’s never really out of it.”
Every time Adam seemed to have things under control—locking in a reverse STF or catching Nico with his quick counters—Burnett found an opening. Julian Furnace shouted distractions from ringside, keeping Adam’s focus divided.
The finish came in brutal fashion. Nico raked Adam’s eyes, then sent him crashing hard to the floor with a hurl out of the ring. Adam staggered, trying to beat the referee’s count, but Julian Furnace danced and jeered in his face, wasting precious seconds. Adam shoved Julian out of the way and rolled in at nine, but Julian, (on the floor), jabbed his tennis racket into Adam’s gut keeping him from entering back into the ring.
Tony Calibur (ring announcer):
“Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match, by count out—Nico ‘the Inferno’ Burnett!”
Mike "the Voice" Johnson (disappointed):
“Come on, Johnny! That wasn’t a win, that was a getaway. Nico didn’t beat Adam Jameson in the ring, he stole one on the outside.”
Johnny "the Hammer" Harris (grinning):
“And what did I tell you? Style, smarts, and survival. Nico Burnett leaves Charlotte with his hand raised, and that’s all that matters.”
Nico posed arrogantly in the ring as Julian waved his racket high, while Adam, clutching his ribs, glared back from the floor. The boos from the Charlotte crowd followed Nico and Julian all the way up the aisle.

🎥 End Commercial Break
The screen fades back to the Charlotte crowd, signs waving and chants breaking out, as Mike “the Voice” Johnson brings us back to the action.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Fans, you’re watching HCW Live Wire, and we are live from Charlotte, North Carolina! Nico Burnett may have stolen one, but up next we’ve got women’s action as Dixie Caverns takes on Grizelda of the Dark Dominion!”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Oh yeah, Mike. You talk about spooky season coming early? Grizelda brings it year-round. Dixie better have her head on straight, or it’s gonna roll.”
The arena lights dim as the eerie chimes of “Coven’s Call” by The Hollow Sisters echo through the speakers. A sickly green mist fills the stage as Grizelda, flanked by Count Vlad, slinks her way down the aisle. She cackles at the jeering Charlotte crowd, dragging her crooked fingers across the ropes before sliding into the ring. Vlad follows with regal calm, hands clasped behind his back, his gaze piercing.
Tony Calibur raises the mic.
Tony Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen, accompanied by Count Vlad, representing the Dark Dominion… this is Grizelda!”
Grizelda snatches the mic with a jagged smile, pacing the ring like a spider stalking prey.
Grizelda (hissing, then breaking into a cackle):
“One by one, the lights of HCW flicker out. And one of the brightest? Snuffed out by my hand.” (she snickers) “Oh, they called her one of HCW’s best. But now? She sits in silence, forced into retirement… because of me.”
The crowd boos furiously.
Grizelda (leaning into the camera, whispering):
“No one here dares face me. No one in HCW has the courage to step into my coven. I stand alone… untouchable… unchallengeable—”
Suddenly, “Country Roads of Fire” by The Highway Saints blares over the PA, and the Charlotte crowd roars as Dixie Caverns storms onto the stage, microphone in hand.
Dixie Caverns (fire in her voice):
“Now hold it right there, witch. You didn’t force my friend out — you ran her off like the coward you are! And if no one else is gonna step up, then I’ll do it. I’m not here to play your games, Grizelda. I’m here to avenge what you did!”
The crowd explodes in cheers as Dixie marches down to ringside.
Vlad raises his hand, smiling faintly as the boos rain down.
Count Vlad (smooth, deliberate):
“Ah, Miss Caverns… the brave little country star who wants to sing in the dark. Very well. If you desire to be broken like your ‘friend,’ then step inside. But know this — the Dominion always collects its due.” Vlad steps to the ropes, handing off his cane.
Count Vlad (to the announce table):
“And now, gentlemen, allow me the pleasure of joining you at commentary. Tonight, you will learn what true dominance looks like.”
Vlad exits the ring, walking with regal arrogance to the commentary table, where Mike “the Voice” Johnson and Johnny “the Hammer” Harris shuffle nervously to make room.
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris (dryly):
“Well, Mike… looks like we’ve got royalty sitting in.”
Mike “the Voice” Johnson (wary):
“Fans, Count Vlad himself will be with us as Grizelda faces Dixie Caverns, right after this!”
The camera lingers on Dixie pointing at Grizelda from the ropes as Vlad settles in at the announce table, smirking.
Match #4: Grizelda w/Count Vlad vs Dixie Caverns
Dixie Caverns barely gets a chance to take her jacket off before Grizelda is all over her, wrenching her legs back into a vicious Boston Crab. The crowd roars, rallying behind Dixie, but Grizelda sits back deep, eyes wild, cackling as Dixie claws for the ropes. Within moments, Dixie has no choice—she taps out.
Tony Calibur (ring announcer):
“Here is your winner… by submission… GRIZELDA!”
Grizelda refuses to release immediately, laughing as the referee pleads with her, finally letting go and throwing her arms wide as if she just conquered the world.
Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Oh, come on! Dixie Caverns barely had a chance to even breathe in this one! Grizelda wasted no time and just tore into her!”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Well, Mike, you can’t say she lied! Grizelda said nobody in HCW had the guts to face her, and Dixie tried. Key word — tried.”
Count Vlad (leaning in, smug):
“You see? This is inevitability. Grizelda does not wrestle matches… she ends careers. She promised to break another spirit tonight, and in less than a minute, she kept her word.”
Mike “the Voice” Johnson (angered):
“Don’t act like this was noble! Dixie came out here to defend a friend and Grizelda pounced on her before she even found her footing!”
Count Vlad (chuckling darkly):
“Ah, Mister Johnson, the ring does not wait for footing. It devours hesitation. Dixie Caverns brought sentiment… Grizelda brought domination. This is the difference between dreams and destiny.”
Johnny “the Hammer” Harris (half-grinning):
“I’ll give you this, Vlad — you don’t exaggerate. Grizelda’s scary. She just made an example out of Dixie Caverns.”
Count Vlad (smooth, final):
“And she will make many more. One by one, the roster learns what you already know… in Vlad, we trust.”
Backstage Interview – Candace Hart with Talia Nocturne
The camera cuts backstage. The scene is bathed in deep violet lighting, smoke curling upward behind velvet curtains. The Heritage Women’s Championship rests proudly over Talia Nocturne’s shoulder. Standing next to her with a microphone is Candace Hart.
Candace Hart (professional, composed):
“Talia, later tonight you defend the Heritage Women’s Championship against Penny Hall. How do you feel heading into this main event?”
Talia Nocturne (a slow, predatory smile):
“Candace, how do I feel? I feel inevitability. Penny Hall is loud, reckless, desperate to prove she belongs in the same breath as me. But she doesn’t. Tonight is not her moment of triumph — it’s her reckoning. Because when she steps into that ring with me, she’ll find out the truth… there is no light when night falls.”
Candace Hart (pressing):
“Penny has said she’s tired of the Dominion’s influence, that tonight she’s walking out with your championship, no matter what.”
Talia Nocturne (tilts her head, amused):
“Ah, yes — brave words from someone standing in the sun. But when the bell rings, and it’s only her and I, she will learn. Dominion or not, the crown of night rests with me. Penny doesn’t take this title because she cannot take me.”
Talia lifts the belt slowly, letting it gleam under the purple light as she stares directly into the camera.
Talia Nocturne (soft, cutting):
“Penny Hall will not rise tonight. She will fall… and she will fall in my shadow.”
The camera lingers on her cold smile before fading back to the arena where Count Vlad remains at commentary.
Back to the Arena – Commentary
The camera fades from Talia’s cold smile backstage back into the arena. The crowd is buzzing, a mix of cheers and boos, as the announce desk comes into focus. Mike 'the Voice' Johnson, Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris, and Count Vlad are seated at ringside.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson (energetic):
“Strong words from the Heritage Women’s Champion, Talia Nocturne. She looks more confident than ever heading into tonight’s main event against Penny Hall!”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris (grinning slyly):
“Confident? She’s oozing dominance, Mike. Penny Hall’s walking into a storm tonight, and I don’t think she’s walking out with anything but a broken spirit.”
Count Vlad (leaning in, smooth and deliberate):
“Gentlemen… what you saw just now is not confidence — it is destiny. Talia Nocturne is the Nighttime Heiress. That title, that crown of darkness, belongs to her and her alone. And tonight, Penny Hall learns the difference between hope… and inevitability.”
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson (raising an eyebrow):
“Well, Count, you’ve made it clear where you stand. Are you planning to remain with us for the rest of the evening?”
Count Vlad (smiles faintly, steepling his fingers):
“But of course. The night is reaching its peak. I will stay right here, at your side, for the final two matches of the night. After all, it would be… irresponsible of me to miss the unraveling of fate itself.”
The camera lingers on Vlad’s sly grin as the crowd stirs, the tension in the air thickening. The scene shifts toward the ring as the next match prepares to begin.
The arena lights cut harshly to white as the opening riff of “Ashes of the Broken” by Iron Chapel blares. Bishop Ripley strides onto the stage, fists clenched, his face locked in a snarl. He points at the ring, then at his own waist, barking at the crowd that the TV Title will be his. Ripley storms down the ramp, jawing with fans, before sliding into the ring and pacing with predatory intensity.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson (firm):
“Bishop Ripley has never been one to shy away from a fight, but tonight he’s stepping into the ring with a monster who thrives on destruction.”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris (smirking):
“Yeah, and Ripley’s mouth might’ve written a check he can’t cash. Beastfang isn’t just a champion — he’s a war machine.”
The arena plunges into darkness. The crowd rumbles uneasily. A guttural howl echoes through the sound system, followed by the pounding tribal drums and heavy riffs of “Howls of Dominion” by Blood Crypt Choir. Blood-red lights sweep across the arena as Beastfang steps onto the stage, the Television Championship gleaming around his waist. He slams his fists against his chest, roaring as flames burst from the stage sides.
As Beastfang stomps toward the ring, the camera pans ringside — where Mindy is seated in the front row, holding up a handmade sign that reads “BEASTFANG RULES.” She beams proudly, cheering louder than anyone around her, drawing boos and jeers from the fans nearby.
Count Vlad (smoothly, with pride):
“Do you see, gentlemen? Even from the crowd, devotion follows my Beastfang. He is adored. He is feared. He is… inevitable.”
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson (firm):
“Adored? She’s about the only one cheering for him. Listen to this crowd — they don’t respect Beastfang, they fear him.”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris (chuckling):
“Respect, fear — it’s all the same when the guy in the ring is gonna eat you alive.”
Beastfang steps over the top rope with ease, unbuckling the championship and lifting it high, eyes wild as he stares down Ripley. Ringside, Mindy claps and shouts, clutching her sign like a trophy as Honest Abe presents the belt to the crowd before handing it off.
Match #5: TV Title Match: Beastfang w/Count Vlad vs Bishop Ripley
The bell rings and both men come out swinging like wild animals. Ripley immediately hits a Tiger Suplex that shakes the ring.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson (excited):
“Ripley just dropped the big man with a Tiger Suplex! That could turn this around—”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris (cutting in):
“Yeah, but he’s on the wrong side of the ropes, Mike! He’s not gonna make it back in!”
Beastfang gets up effortlessly and launches Ripley overhead with a massive belly-to-belly suplex on the floor, sending the challenger crashing hard to the outside. The crowd gasps at the impact, and Ripley writhes in pain, clutching his back.
At ringside, Mindy leaps to her feet, pounding the barricade and shouting encouragement to Beastfang. The fans jeer her loudly, but she only grins, waving her “BEASTFANG RULES” sign proudly.
The count reaches nine, Ripley stumbles, trying to roll back in — but collapses against the apron. Ten!
The bell rings and the ref signals for it: Beastfang retains by count-out!
Count Vlad (smooth, savoring every word):
“Ha! Do you see? Even when the brave fools land their best blows, the Beast remains standing. Ripley lies in the rubble… and my Beastfang still holds gold.”
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson (frustrated):
“Ripley didn’t lose this match, he just couldn’t beat the clock! Beastfang survives, but he knows he was in trouble.”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris (snickering):
“Trouble? Trouble is lying on the floor while the monster walks away still champion. That’s not trouble, that’s dominance.”
Beastfang hoists his championship high, pounding his chest and roaring as Mindy cheers wildly from her seat, basking in the champion’s victory. He makes his way to the back to booing from the crowd. Count Vlad remains at commentary.
Backstage – The Morton Report Promo
The camera cuts to Larry Morton, standing in front of a simple HCW backdrop, microphone in hand, his trademark sharp suit gleaming under the lights.
Larry Morton (with energy):
“Wrestling fans, tomorrow on The Morton Report we go deep into the road to Convergence! I’ll be breaking down the shocking implications of Count Vlad’s power plays, plus exclusive analysis of Zack ‘Commando’ Brown’s chase for redemption. And you won’t want to miss my sit-down interview with none other than Owen Zestwell—what does the future hold for the Zestwell family? All that and more, this week on The Morton Report! Stay tuned.”
The promo graphic flashes across the screen with the Morton Report logo before cutting back to the arena.
Tony Calibur (ring announcer):
“Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your main event of the evening! This contest is scheduled for one fall… and it is for the Heritage Women’s Championship!”
The arena lights glow in silver and blue as a confident strut fills the ramp. The crowd gives off a loud mix of cheers and boos as Penny Hall steps through the curtain, smirking ear-to-ear. She throws her arms wide, as if to say look at me, and mouths to the camera, “Tonight’s my night.”
She takes her time walking down the ramp, wagging her finger at a few fans and blowing a mocking kiss toward the hard cam. At ringside, Penny hops onto the apron, swings her leg through the ropes, and strikes a pose on the turnbuckle, pointing at the title belt graphic on the screen above.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Say what you want about Penny Hall, but she’s got the guts to step up in the spotlight. She’s not intimidated by Talia, and you can see it in every move she makes.”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris (grinning):
“Not intimidated? She’s thriving on this, Mike. Penny Hall believes she’s already the Heritage Women’s Champion. All she needs now is the referee to make it official.”
The arena goes dark. A hush falls. Suddenly, haunting strings begin as “Crimson Hymn” by The Thorns of Orpheus cuts through the silence. A deep crimson glow washes over the stage as Talia Nocturne emerges, the Heritage Women’s Championship strapped firmly around her waist.
She walks slowly, deliberately, her cloak dragging across the floor as red fire pyro erupts from the stage corners. The crowd rains down heavy boos, but Talia only tilts her head, smirking, her eyes locked on Penny Hall in the ring.
At ringside, she pauses, unfastens her championship, and holds it high with a kind of quiet arrogance. The title glints in the crimson light as she ascends the steps, glides into the ring, and stands face-to-face with Penny without breaking eye contact.
Count Vlad (from commentary, measured, almost reverent):
“Behold the Nighttime Heiress. The Heritage Women’s Champion. Penny Hall stands in the ring tonight, but she does not stand in the same world as Talia. For Talia is not chasing history—she is history.”
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“I’ve gotta say, Vlad, she looks the part of a champion—but Penny Hall’s been waiting for this shot, and tonight, she’s going to fight like her life depends on it!”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Mike, let me stop you there—this isn’t about fighting like your life depends on it. This is about being good enough to take down Talia Nocturne. And I don’t think Penny Hall is.”
The referee, Honest Abe, takes the championship from Talia, raises it high for the audience, and then hands it to the timekeeper. The crowd swells in anticipation as the bell prepares to ring.
Match #6: The Main Event for the Heritage Women’s Championship: Talia Nocturne w/Count Vlad vs Penny Hall
The Charlotte crowd was electric as Penny Hall came in swinging, landing a scoop slam and a crisp flying dropkick that sent the champion scrambling. She followed up with her Penny For Your Thoughts forearm smash, stunning Talia and earning a close two-count that had the fans roaring.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson (fired up):
“Penny Hall nearly shocked the world right there! The champion didn’t see that coming!”
Talia rolled out of danger and regrouped with her trademark icy calm. When Penny tried to stay on the offensive with another forearm strike, Talia countered, spiking her down with an Inverted DDT. From there, the pace slowed as Talia methodically targeted Penny’s back with pendulum backbreakers and short, cutting slams.
Still, Penny wasn’t going away quietly. She rallied with a sunset flip that almost scored an upset pin, then sent the champ tumbling with a dropkick through the ropes. The crowd counted along as Talia barely made it back to the ring at the count of five.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris (half-grinning):
“Don’t count Penny out yet—she’s tougher than people give her credit for!”
But when Penny tried to build momentum, Count Vlad made his presence felt. While Honest Abe’s back was turned, Vlad slipped in a sudden Transylvania Spike, rocking Penny and leaving her vulnerable. Talia swooped in with a Slingblade and hooked the leg, but Penny kicked out defiantly at two.
The crowd exploded in support, chanting Penny’s name. She landed another Penny For Your Thoughts, nearly toppling Talia again. But the Nighttime Heiress weathered the storm. She delivered a devastating Nurse’s Prescription Powerbomb, then a Red Wedding Fireman’s Carry Facebuster that drove Penny face-first into the mat.
Count Vlad (smiling coldly at commentary):
“There it is. The red crown claims another pretender. Inevitability cannot be denied.”
Talia covered. 1…2… Penny kicked out! The building shook, fans leaping to their feet. The defiance only seemed to anger the champion. With precision, Talia landed another pendulum backbreaker before hitting a final, emphatic Red Wedding Facebuster.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson (shouting):
“That’s it! That’s got to be it!”
1…2…3! The bell rang.
Talia Nocturne stood tall, clutching her Heritage Women’s Championship high as Penny lay broken on the canvas. The Dominion had survived another challenge, but Penny’s heart and resilience drew respect from the Charlotte crowd, who gave her a standing ovation as she was helped from the ring.
Suddenly, the lights flickered. The titantron glowed white, and a chilling voice echoed:
Ashen Vicar (voice-over, solemn, scripture-like):
“The night thinks itself eternal… but even the deepest dark burns before the White Flame. Vlad… your empire rots from within. And when the reckoning comes, it will not be on your terms… but on mine.”
The camera cut to the stage, where Ashen Vicar appeared, standing tall in his ritualistic robes, hands folded like in prayer. The arena bathed in an eerie white glow as he locked eyes with Vlad at the commentary desk.
The crowd exploded, half in awe, half in shock.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson (urgent):
“Wait a minute—that’s him! That’s the Ashen Vicar! He’s here in Charlotte!”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris (uneasy):
“You can feel the air change, Mike—this is something different. This is… chilling.”
Count Vlad (measured, but visibly rattled):
“Ah… so the ghost chooses to step into my world. Very well. Let him come. He will find that the Dark Dominion fears nothing.”
Ashen Vicar raised his hand, and a streak of white flame surged briefly on the tron behind him. Without another word, he turned and walked back through the curtain, leaving the crowd buzzing.
The final shot of the night lingered on Vlad at commentary, his smirk thin and uncertain, as Talia clutched her title tightly in the ring.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson (closing):
“Ladies and gentlemen, the Dark Dominion celebrates again tonight… but the White Flame has arrived, and Vlad has been warned. What does this mean for Convergence—and beyond? We’ll see you next week!”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Stay tuned, folks. Things just got dangerous.”
