HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2025 #1119 – 7/19 - HCW Live Wire

Pyro explodes across the entrance stage as the camera sweeps across a raucous crowd, signs waving in the air: “Ashley’s Not Done Yet!”, “Zack Got Robbed”, and “Dark Dominion = Disease.” The HCW Live Wire logo pulses on the arena screens in blue and gold as the hard camera settles on the announce desk.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter! You’re watching Live Wire, and we are still feeling the aftershocks from Meltdown!”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Mike, I haven't seen chaos like this since the Iron Sheik hijacked a golf cart backstage in '99—Meltdown changed the entire landscape of HCW! The Dominion's grip is tightening, but the locker room is boiling with resistance!”

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“And tonight, we’ve got fallout, we’ve got retaliation, and we’ve got statements to be made! We already know the road to Hard Justice in August is gonna be paved with broken bones and bitter grudges, but Live Wire kicks it into high gear!”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Zack Brown? Out for blood. Ashley Summers? Still standing tall. And you know Count Vlad and Max McGillicutty aren't just gonna sit back and watch this house they built start cracking!”

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“And we’ve got massive action lined up tonight—including a TV Title main event that could shake the foundation of the entire title scene.  A mens Battle Royal will see someone new win a contract… with everyone circling each other like sharks.”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Someone’s getting bit tonight, Mike. Question is—will they get back up?”

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Let’s not waste another second—Live Wire starts right now!”

Cue the music sting as the camera cuts to the ring, where Tony Calibur stands ready to announce the opening contest…

The show kicks off with thunderous pyro as the crowd explodes into chants of “We want justice!” and “Down with Vlad!” The camera swings across a packed arena before panning up to the entrance stage—where the unmistakable sound of HCW’s Executive Director’s music hits.

[Cue Theme: “No Sympathy” by Vile Ethics]

Out walks Max McGillicutty, in a tailored black and blood-red blazer with a Dominion crest pin on the lapel, microphone in hand, soaking in the deafening boos from the Columbia crowd.

Max McGillicutty:
“Y’know… I expected this kind of reception. Because every time I try to do what’s best for HCW… every time I protect this company from itself… you people cry foul. You whine, you protest, and you rally behind hopeless causes like Zack Brown, Ashley Summers… and Molly Mason.”

The crowd roars at Molly’s name, some cheering, others anticipating a setup.

Max McGillicutty:
“I’ve been watching you, Molly. You strut around ringside waving your little clipboard, giving your Alaskan circus act pep talks, pretending you’re above it all. But I did some digging. I took a page from some very good friends of mine up north—you may have heard of them. Up in the snow, they don’t tolerate insolence. They correct it.”

The crowd boos louder now as Max’s smug smile grows.

Max McGillicutty:
“Turns out, Miss Mason, your HCW file still has two active licenses. Manager and wrestler. And as long as you have both, you are contractually eligible for in-ring competition… which means I own every minute of your time here.”

Gasps from the crowd. A camera cuts to a stunned fan holding a “Team Molly” sign.

Max McGillicutty:
“So here's how this is gonna go. You wanna keep your job? You’re going to wrestle tonight. And you won’t know who your opponent is until your name’s already been announced. This isn’t a negotiation, sweetheart—this is a mandate. If you refuse? You’re fired. Simple.”

He steps to the edge of the stage and points toward the ring.

Max McGillicutty:
“You think this is unfair? You think I’m cruel? I’m giving you a chance to prove yourself. Just like my associates gave me the opportunity to reshape HCW. And believe me, I intend to see that vision through... no matter how many little folk heroes have to get broken on the way.”

He turns to walk off, but stops briefly, glaring into the camera.

Max McGillicutty:
“You made your choice aligning with the wrong side, Molly. Now you’ll live—or fall—by it.”

Max's music hits again as he exits to the back. The camera lingers on the stunned audience while the commentary team cuts in.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Max McGillicutty just forced Molly Mason into a corner—and tonight, we find out if she fights her way out!”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“I don’t like this one bit, Mike. That was a warning shot. Molly’s about to find herself in a lion’s den... and I have a bad feeling who’s waiting inside.  Our July Men’s Battle Royal starts NOW!”

[Backstage Segment]

The camera cuts backstage where Owen Zestwell is pacing near the loading bay doors, still breathing heavy from the Men’s Contract Battle Royal earlier in the night. Sweat clings to his brow, and the sting of elimination clearly hasn’t cooled his anger. A few crew members clear out as Max McGillicutty steps into frame, arms folded, expression unreadable.

Max McGillicutty:
“I let you wrestle tonight, Owen. I even gave you a fair slot in that ring. But don’t confuse a booking with permission.”

Owen turns slowly, his eyes still locked in that post-match fury.

Max McGillicutty:
“That was the deal for tonight. One match. One opportunity. And now it’s over. Which means you're done for the night.  Thaddeus and you need a break from each other.”

He steps forward, calm but deliberate.

Max McGillicutty:
“Let me be clear—unless you and your brother are in a match that I approve, you don’t get to linger around the halls, you don’t get to scout from the rafters, and you damn sure don’t get to play hero.”

Owen doesn’t move—his jaw clenched, but he listens.

Max McGillicutty:
“I gave you tonight as a professional courtesy. The next time I catch you sniffing around where you’re not sanctioned to be… I won’t be so lenient.”

Max leans in slightly—low, cold, direct.

Max McGillicutty:
“You want Thaddeus? You’ll get him. But only when I say so. Until then, keep your head down… or you’re off my roster before you even get your revenge.”

Max turns and exits without another word. The camera lingers on Owen, breathing hard, torn between patience and pride. He slams his fist against a production crate—then storms out of frame.

The lights shift to a single spotlight near the entranceway as the HCW crowd buzzes with anticipation. A moment later, the opening chords of “Backwoods Redemption” by Firehook Holler hit the speakers, and the crowd erupts with a wave of support.

Tony Calibur (in-ring):
“Ladies and gentlemen… the following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first… from Homer, Alaska… Molly Mason!”

Molly steps through the curtain slowly, dressed to compete—but clearly hesitant. Her usual calm, managerial demeanor is gone. She looks around, wary, almost like she’s being led to a trap. The crowd chants her name in solidarity as she walks toward the ring, her eyes darting toward the stage as if expecting something to jump out.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Folks, I still can’t believe this is happening. Molly Mason—one of the most respected managers in this industry—is being forced to wrestle tonight under threat of being fired by Max McGillicutty.”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“She’s got guts, Mike, I’ll give her that. But this feels like putting a lamb in the lion’s cage. Whoever Max lined up for this… it’s not going to be fair.”

Molly climbs into the ring, pacing cautiously in her corner. The lights dim slightly, and an eerie hush settles over the arena. Then...

[Cue Theme: “Thorns in Bloom” by Ivory Dirge]

A crimson strobe pulses through the arena as Max McGillicutty walks out onto the stage with a microphone in hand, flanked by two Dominion guards. He smiles like a man who’s already won.

Max McGillicutty:
“Well done, Molly. You showed up. That’s more than I expected. You really are the stubborn type... just like your friend Jax.”

Boos pour in from the crowd as Molly glares up the ramp.

Max McGillicutty:
“Now, since that managerial license also includes a wrestler’s license… it’s only fair I give you a worthy opponent. So allow me to introduce… the reigning, defending, HCW World Ladies Champion... the Queen of the Dark Dominion…”

He smirks.

Max McGillicutty:
Selena 'Widow’s Fang' Blackfang. Oh… and don’t worry—this isn’t a title match. That would be too generous.”

The lights drop to blood red. A slow, haunting violin riff pierces the darkness before “Widow’s Waltz” by The Black Atelier explodes from the sound system. Emerging through the fog with deliberate, predatory grace is Selena Blackfang, the HCW World Ladies Title slung across her waist.  Count Vlad follows silently behind her.

Selena makes her way down, revealing a cold, merciless grin. She doesn’t rush—she glides, savoring every step as Molly’s face drops from wary to deeply concerned.

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Oh, come on! This is sick! Max is sending Selena Blackfang out there? That’s not a match, Mike, that’s a burial in progress!”

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Molly didn’t ask for this… but she’s standing tall anyway. This isn’t about winning—it’s about surviving.”

Selena enters the ring with fluid elegance, slowly circling Molly like a serpent sizing up its prey. The referee checks both women—Molly still unsure, Selena grinning like a spider before the first strike.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“This is it. A non-title match, but the stakes couldn’t be higher. Molly Mason’s career is hanging by a thread—and that thread is about to be tested by the Widow’s Fang herself.”

Match #2:  Selena Blackfang w/Count Vlad vs Molly Mason – non-title match.

From the moment the bell rang, Molly Mason came out swinging—not with hesitation, but defiance. She stunned the champion early with a clean neckbreaker that rattled the crowd just as much as it did Selena Blackfang.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Molly came to fight, Johnny! This isn’t just about survival anymore—this is personal!”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“She’s trying to break through the shadows—maybe make Selena feel something other than smug!”

Selena quickly responded with her devastating Spinning Leghook Fireman’s Carry Slam, asserting control, but Molly countered with a perfectly executed Northern Lights Suplex—a move that popped the crowd and reminded everyone that she knows this business.

The match intensified with each exchange. Selena used her champion’s poise and power to wear Molly down—planting her with powerbombs, snap suplexes, and even locking in a cruel Modified Scorpion Crosslock. At ringside, Count Vlad played puppet master, pulling off distractions and unleashing his infamous Evil Eye, causing Molly to stagger as if under a spell.

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Someone get that vampire warlock away from ringside! The man’s got a cheat code for every match!”

But every time Molly looked down and out, she dug deep—catching Selena off guard with a sudden Tornado DDT, then dropping her with a whiplash-inducing Neckbreaker out of nowhere.

By the fifteenth minute, Molly had Selena locked in a Sleeper, center of the ring, and for the first time… the Queen of the Dark Dominion looked vulnerable.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“She’s fading, Hammer! Selena’s fading! Molly might do the impossible right here!”

Selena broke free with a last gasp, slamming Molly with a Fallaway Slam, but the crowd was now fully behind the Alaskan underdog. Molly fired back with a suplex, then tossed Selena over the ropes, creating separation.

Just as it looked like Molly was going to climb out and bring Selena back in—

The Yeti came out.

A person in a garment in a boxing ring

The crowd erupted in boos as the Yeti stormed the apron. ‘Honest’ Abe immediately turned to stop him—but that was the cue.

Count Vlad slid a steel chair into the ring. Molly caught it, but Selena snatched it away mid-swing—and with no hesitation, blasted Molly square in the ribs!

CLANG!!

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“She didn’t hesitate! She knew what was coming, and she beat them to it!”

Unfortunately, just as Selena turned to throw the chair down—‘Honest’ Abe turned back around.

DING DING DING!

Tony Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match… as a result of a disqualification… Molly Mason!”

The crowd exploded as Molly collapsed to her knees and Selena rolled out of the ring joining Count Vlad and the Yeti, ready to finish what they started.

But before they could strike—

JAX BRENNER’S music hit.

The Alaskan Wildman thundered down the ramp with a steel chair of his own, sending the Dominion scattering.  The Dark Dominion turned and made their way up the ramp with the Yeti grinning menacingly back at Jax.

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“She didn’t win… but she damn sure didn’t lose either, Mike!”

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Molly Mason just took the fight to the Queen, and lived to tell about it! And look at Jax—he’s here, and he’s making sure they know it!”

[Backstage Promo – Ashley Summers]

Ashley stands in front of a white HCW backdrop, clad in her signature leather jacket, her tone calm but focused.

Ashley Summers:
"Korbi wants to dominate. Luciana wants to rise. And me? I just want to fight. I’m not here for backroom games or family favors. I’m here to prove that I don’t need a title around my waist to carry this division on my back. So tonight, bring your Empire... bring your Family. Just don’t expect me to stay down."

[Backstage Promo – Luciana Albano (w/ Pierre Boulay)]

Luciana stands in a silk blazer, arms crossed, with Pierre Boulay beside her, smug as ever.

Pierre Boulay:
“My Luciana is a vision of precision. A masterpiece crafted from Albano blood and Albanese fire. Ashley? A failed champion. Korbi? A brute in borrowed royalty. Tonight, you’ll both kneel—because the Albano family is not here to participate… we’re here to conquer.”

Luciana Albano (coldly):
“Try to survive. That’s all either of you can do.”

[Backstage Promo – Empress Korbi Kong]

The camera zooms in on a shadow-drenched corridor. Empress Korbi Kong, shrouded in black and silver robes, stands unmoving, her eyes locked on the lens.

Empress Korbi Kong:
“The Dominion does not negotiate. We do not warn. We eradicate. Ashley Summers had her chance. Luciana Albano clings to family like armor. But armor cracks… and bones break.”

She lowers her head slightly, voice dropping to a whisper.

Empress Korbi Kong:
“Tonight, they will both kneel beneath the Empress.”

The camera returns to the arena as the lights dim to a cool blue. A pulsing drumbeat rolls through the sound system before the familiar guitar riff of "Queen’s Reign" by Violet Halo echoes through the crowd.

Tony Calibur (ring announcer):
“The following contest is a Triple Threat Match scheduled for one fall!”

The crowd roars as Ashley Summers steps through the curtain, arms raised, spotlight shining behind her silhouette. Her expression is focused, no wasted motion as she makes her way down the ramp.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“She was the face of the women’s division not long ago—and some say she still is. Ashley Summers refuses to stay down, and tonight’s triple threat is the proving ground she’s been waiting for.”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“She may not have the belt anymore, but she’s still swinging like a champion.”

Ashley rolls into the ring and climbs the turnbuckle, soaking in the cheers before hopping down and pacing the corner, loosening up her shoulders.

The cheers give way to a wave of jeers as a spotlight bathes the entrance ramp in gold. The screen flashes a gleaming family crest as “Prima Regina” by Gold Dagger Waltz fills the arena.

Luciana Albano emerges in an elegant, high-collared robe. Her eyes scan the crowd with aristocratic disdain. There’s no Pierre Boulay at her side tonight—only purpose in her stride.

Tony Calibur:
“Introducing next… representing the Albano Mafia, err, I mean clan… Luciana Albano!”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“She may be young, but don’t let that fool you—Luciana is ruthless. She was bred for this spotlight, and she’s here to outshine both of these women by any means necessary.”

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“She’s dangerous in the ring and colder than a glacier on the mic. Ashley better watch her back.”

Luciana enters the ring, casually flicking her ring jacket off her shoulders before retreating to her corner, unfazed.

Then—total blackout.

A single low-tone gong rumbles through the arena, followed by a suffocating bass growl. The lights flash red and silver in a slow, pulsing rhythm as "Blood Reign Ascendant" by The Silent Sermon kicks in with a haunting wail of distorted choirs and tribal drums.

The audience turns toward the entrance with dread and anticipation. Emerging through smoke, wearing a high-necked battle cloak adorned with Dominion sigils, is Empress Korbi Kong. Her arms stretch out slowly as if blessing her battlefield before descending down the ramp in total silence.

Tony Calibur:
“And finally… representing the Dark Dominion… she is the Empress of Ruin... Korbi Kong!”

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“This is what the Dominion sends when they want to end someone. Korbi Kong is more than a competitor—she’s a reckoning.”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Summers has heart. Luciana has pedigree. But Korbi? Korbi’s got dominion. And she’s about to remind them who rules this division now.”

Korbi climbs onto the apron slowly, deliberately. She removes her cloak without breaking eye contact with either woman in the ring, then steps between the ropes with unshakable presence. No music. No movement. Just that oppressive stillness before destruction.

The referee checks all three women—Ashley bouncing on her heels, Luciana rolling her wrists, Korbi completely still.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Three of the most dangerous women in HCW… and only one can walk out of this match with momentum toward the next title opportunity. Buckle in.”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Let the blood games begin.”

Match #3:  Empress Korbi Kong vs Luciana Albano vs Ashley ‘Diamond’ Summers in a triple threat match.

From the opening bell, the tension was electric. Three of HCW’s most dominant women shared the ring, but no one moved like they were ready to wait. Luciana Albano landed the first blow, catching Korbi Kong with a stiff Sole Food that only seemed to irritate the Empress. Moments later, an unlikely alliance formed—Ashley Summers and Korbi Kong, working in tandem to punish Luciana with a High Angle Crab and a brutal Diving Forearm to the Back.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“This is already a chess match of pain. Luciana may have pedigree, but she’s caught in a gauntlet right now!”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen Korbi work with anyone—but tonight, she’s making exceptions to hurt everyone!”

The partnerships were fleeting. Korbi turned quickly, whipping Luciana into the turnbuckle before Ashley caught her with a Tilt-A-Whirl Gutbuster that buckled the Empress for the first time in weeks.

Luciana remained vicious, landing repeated Full Nelson Slams on both opponents, while Ashley weathered every storm with counterstrikes like Diamond Cutters and the always-dangerous Queen’s Boot. Each woman scored near-falls, each broken up at the last second—usually by the third.

By the 15-minute mark, all three had taken turns on top. Selena Blackfang’s title may not have been on the line, but the implications were clear—this was the next echelon of the division fighting for dominance.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“These women are putting on a masterclass in chaos—combos, reversals, technical precision. And nobody’s backing down!”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“I feel like I’m watching a prize fight with no corner men. Just raw instinct and fury.”

A major turning point came at minute 16, when Korbi Kong soared through the air with a Mile High Flying Elbow Drop on Ashley, nearly stealing it. But Ashley kicked out at two, and the crowd came unglued.

Later, Luciana nearly sealed the match with a Riptide Pumphandle Bomb on Korbi, but Ashley slid in with a last-second save that might’ve been match-saving—or pride-saving.

As the clock neared the final stretch, the match dissolved into violent improvisation. Ashley and Korbi temporarily double-teamed Luciana with a Spear/Forearm Uppercut combo, only for Luciana to rise back with another Belly-to-Back Pendulum Facebuster.

25 minutes in, the crowd was on its feet. Korbi attempted multiple power moves, while Ashley unleashed a Diamond Splash only for Korbi to counter with a Running Clothesline that nearly took her head off.

29 minutes and counting. Everyone in the ring again—no alliances this time. Triple collision—Rear Chin Lock, Vertical Suplex, High Angle Crab—everyone locked in, everyone desperate. No finish.

In the final minute, Ashley locked Luciana into another High Angle Crab while Luciana still found enough leverage to hit Ashley with a last Electric Chair Facebuster.

DING DING DING.

Tony Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen… after 30 minutes of competition, this match has been declared a time-limit draw!”

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Nobody gave an inch! Thirty minutes and it ends in a draw! You can’t say any of these women lost… but none of them won.”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“They’re not done, Mike! They’re not done!”

Indeed, as referee ‘Honest’ Abe tried to separate them, it all broke down. Ashley lunged at Luciana, Luciana slapped Korbi, and Korbi shoulder-checked both of them like battering rams. The fight spilled over the ropes, then up the ramp, as all three women kept swinging, clawing, shoving—a chaotic storm of unresolved fury.

Security rushed in, but none could contain it.

The camera followed the three women as they brawled past the stage curtain, with officials trying to separate them in the chaos backstage. No resolution. No handshake. Just unfinished war.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“This story’s far from over. And I don’t envy the matchmaker who has to deal with this fallout.”

[Backstage – HCW Live Wire | Moments Before the TV Title Match]

The camera fades in backstage, where Candace Hart stands by in front of the HCW interview set. Her red hair is neatly styled, her microphone in hand. Flanking her are two ominous figures: the silent and hulking Beastfang, breathing heavily through a wolfish snarl… and at his side, wearing a long velvet coat embroidered in fanged insignia, is Count Vlad.

Candace Hart:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with Count Vlad and Beastfang, who’s moments away from defending the Television Championship against Son of Drew. Count Vlad—your champion has been virtually unstoppable since your debut. But tonight, he faces a challenger with nothing to lose.”

Vlad lets out a low, amused breath. He steps forward, gazing into the lens like he’s speaking to every soul in the building at once.

Count Vlad:
“Ah, yes... the Son of Drew. A name echoing from lineage… but lineage does not keep the wolves at bay.”

He slowly turns to Beastfang, who is pacing like a caged predator.

Count Vlad:
“My Beast... he is not built for mercy. He does not fight to entertain. He does not care for glory, or belts, or praise. He hungers, Candace. He devours.”

Beastfang lets out a low, growling breath and mutters one word, gravelly and guttural:

Beastfang:
“FEED.”

Candace recoils slightly at the primal intensity.

Count Vlad:
“This title, this gold—it merely marks the kill. And tonight, Son of Drew will not make it past the first scream. There is no hope. There is no escape. Only the FANG…”

He leans in closer to the mic, lowering his voice.

Count Vlad:
“…and the FEAST.”

Vlad spreads his arms wide as Beastfang steps forward, towering behind Candace, casting a monstrous silhouette over the HCW logo.

Candace Hart:
“Back to you at ringside…”

The camera cuts to the ring as the lights dim slightly. The crowd buzzes in anticipation for the main event. The HCW Television Championship graphic flashes across the screen as Tony Calibur stands center ring.

Tony Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen… it is now time for your main event of the evening! The following contest is scheduled for one fall… and it is for the HCW Television Championship!”

Cheers erupt as the arena lights flash white and green. The sound of crashing drums and hard guitar hits as “Legacy Burning” by Graves of Iron kicks in. Smoke fills the stage as Son of Drew emerges, arms wide, a bandana over his face and taped fists held high.

Tony Calibur:
“Introducing first, the challenger… from San Bernardino, California… weighing in at 212 pounds… he is the Relentless Flame... Son of Drew!”

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“This kid has made his name on guts, tenacity, and heart. He’s battled uphill his entire HCW career… and tonight, he stands at the base of the mountain they call Beastfang.”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“He’s got fire, Mike, no doubt. But I’ve seen people with fire get extinguished the second the Dominion walks through that curtain.”

Son of Drew circles the ring, slapping hands with fans before hopping onto the apron and entering the ring. He throws his hands up one more time, ready for war.

*The lights instantly cut to black.

GONG.

A deep crimson spotlight beams down on the entranceway as a guttural growl bellows through the sound system. The opening riff of “The Maw of Night” by Plague Ascension kicks in with violent percussion. Through the mist and flame steps Beastfang, the HCW Television Championship strapped across his waist. At his side, arms open like a conductor of chaos, is Count Vlad.

Tony Calibur:
“And his opponent… accompanied by Count Vlad… representing the Dark Dominion… weighing in at 280 pounds… he is the reigning and defending HCW Television ChampionBEASTFANG!”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Look at him, Mike. He’s not walking to the ring—he’s stalking it. That man doesn’t defend a title… he mauls anything that tries to take it.”

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Beastfang has left a trail of wreckage since claiming the TV Title. And tonight may be Son of Drew’s biggest—and most dangerous—moment in HCW.”

Beastfang marches down the ramp, breathing heavily, teeth bared beneath his fanged mouthguard. Count Vlad follows with a grin carved from nightmares.

Once in the ring, Beastfang removes the belt and hands it to ‘Honest’ Abe, who raises it high for the crowd. Son of Drew never breaks eye contact, his chest heaving, fists clenched.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“This is it. Guts meets brutality. Fire meets fangs. TV Title on the line.”

The bell rang with a clash of styles. The fast, fearless Son of Drew versus the snarling force of nature that is Beastfang. The challenger struck first, leaping into action with a beautiful Corkscrew Pescado, but Beastfang shrugged it off and hurled Son of Drew across the floor with a vicious Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplex.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“This is what Son of Drew signed up for. The TV Title is on the line, but so is his career longevity!”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Beastfang throws you like he’s bored of you. And I guarantee you—he’s not bored yet.”

Back in the ring, Son of Drew used his quickness and agility to break through the fog of pain, landing a slick Handstand Headscissors that finally rocked the beast—but interference from Count Vlad gave Beastfang all the opening he needed. A Deadlift German Suplex followed by the brutal F-5000 nearly ended it then and there, and 'Slow-Count' Sam took his time checking the shoulders.

Still, Son of Drew wouldn’t quit.

Each time he was planted with another Bam Bam’s Triple Gutwrench Suplex, he rose again. Every time Beastfang covered, Son of Drew kicked out. The crowd was fully behind the challenger now, willing him to survive the storm.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“He’s taken four pins and kicked out of all of them! This kid’s heart might just be bigger than Beastfang’s bite!”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Yeah, but heart doesn’t fix a broken spine. You can’t will yourself off the stretcher, Mike!”

Late in the match, Son of Drew strung together his best offense: a Lover Bomb, a Corkscrew Pescado, and finally a diving Body Slam into standing moonsault that drove the champion to the mat. He covered!

ONE! … TWO!

Beastfang powered out at the last second.

The final minutes turned primal. Beastfang headbutted his way out of another comeback, but Son of Drew reversed the strike and hit one last desperate Corkscrew Pescado that brought the entire crowd to its feet. He tried to go up top—but Count Vlad once again slithered in front of the apron.

Son of Drew jumps to the top turnbuckle and kicked Vlad off the apron!

But the distraction cost him.

Beastfang roared to life—dragged Son of Drew off the top rope to the floor—and launched him spine-first into the steel steps outside the ring with a sickening Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplex on the floor.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Oh my god! Son of Drew just got folded on the steps! That wasn’t about the match—that was about sending a message!”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“And the message is: stay out of the Dominion’s hunting grounds!”

As 'Slow-Count' Sam began to check the outside, Count Vlad motioned to his monster—and with no hesitation, Beastfang tossed Son of Drew back into the ring.

He didn’t pin him.

He mounted him, hammering down fists until referee Sam finally waved it off—not a count-out… but a referee stoppage due to unresponsiveness.

Tony Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen… the referee has stopped this contest. Your winner… and STILL HCW Television Champion… BEASTFANG!”

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Son of Drew gave everything he had. But Beastfang? He’s not just a champion. He’s a force of destruction.”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“You don't beat Beastfang… you survive him. And tonight, Son of Drew barely managed that.”

Count Vlad stepped into the ring, lifting Beastfang’s arm high, the TV Title glistening on his shoulder as Son of Drew lay motionless in the corner, clutching his ribs.

The crowd is buzzing with a mix of stunned silence and furious boos as Count Vlad and Beastfang stand tall in the center of the ring. The HCW Television Championship is draped over Beastfang’s shoulder like a war trophy. At his feet lies Son of Drew, broken but not beaten, slowly stirring as officials begin to check on him.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“This wasn’t just a defense… this was domination. Beastfang didn’t just win—he devoured Son of Drew.”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“And if I know Count Vlad, he’s not satisfied. No... this was just another page in the Dominion’s playbook.”

Count Vlad motions for a mic, and a crew member hesitantly hands him one before scurrying away. The crowd rains boos down, but Vlad lifts his hand and the arena goes eerily quiet.

Count Vlad (calm, ominous):
“HCW… this is what happens when hope is allowed to fester. You raise your sons… and we send back corpses.”

Vlad kneels beside Son of Drew and strokes his hair mockingly.

Count Vlad:
“Another rebel silenced. Another lamb offered to the altar of the FANG. Your heroes fall. One by one. Brick by brick.”

He rises again, raising Beastfang’s arm once more.

Count Vlad:
“You call this tyranny. I call it balance.”

Suddenly, the screen on the stage flickers. Static. Then darkness. Then…

A white flame bursts onto the screen—followed by a blurred silhouette. It’s unclear. But then, a voice:

???:
“…you missed one.”

The flame extinguishes, and the screen cuts out.

The crowd erupts.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“What was that?! Was that… a signal? A message? Who—who’s coming for Beastfang?!  Are they coming for the Dark Dominion?!”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Whoever it is… they’d better be ready for war. Because the Dominion doesn’t take challenges lightly—they eliminate them.”

Count Vlad’s smile falters ever so slightly. Beastfang turns toward the screen, chest rising and falling with heavier breaths than usual. The predator has been warned…

The camera pans back over the chaos-strewn ring as paramedics tend to Son of Drew, Beastfang snarling over his shoulder, and Vlad watching the stage with calculating eyes.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson:
“Whatever’s coming… it’s coming soon. But for now, we’re out of time. For Johnny Harris, I’m Mike Johnson, and this has been HCW Live Wire.”

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris:
“Stay tuned.”

Fade to black. HCW logo pulses across the screen as the broadcast ends.
