HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2025 #1094 – 4/27 – Fall out show

Hello fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter.  On the show today, we will recap some of the fallout from Critical Mass.

Wandering around the floor at fanfest was Grinch Heyman from NPCW.  Not sure what he was up to but knowing him, it was probably no good,

At Day 3 of the PPV, Owen Zestwell was injured at the hands of his brother Thaddeus.  He is still being evaluated and his condition has yet to be shared.

At Day 4, Goldie Locks was taken out by the Dark Dominion Vixens.  Her contract expired the night after the final episode of Critical Mass and she has chosen not to renew her contract at this time.  Thankfully, the injuries turned out to be superficial.

After Day 4 went off the air, during a post-show recap, Jax went backstage to find Molly tied up (but with the ropes already loosened.)  Jax’s eyes go all wide and he is unsure on what is happening.  Molly tries to explain that two women she didn’t see put a hood on her head and tied her to this chair.

HCW fans were also treated by an appearance from NPCW’s Santa and Mrs Claus and their manager Bernard but also Count Vlad’s guests Scrooge, Cratchit, Krampus and his manager Lilith.  Again, when Count Vlad starts something, you know it can’t be good.

Let’s get over to the action.

[Backstage – in the Dominion’s chamber: stone walls, flickering candelabras, and thick velvet drapes. Count Vlad stands before a shrine-like table bearing Dominion symbols and a single, untouched goblet. Korbi stands beside him, arms crossed, face cold and resolved.]

Count Vlad (smiling, calm):
"Ah… Critical Mass. Such a beautiful night for chaos, no? Some dreams were shattered… and yet… some truths were revealed."

[He walks slowly, deliberately, hands gesturing casually as if speaking to an audience that should already agree with him.]

Count Vlad:
"You see, there are those who pretend to believe in our cause — they say the words, they wear the colors… but when the shadows close in, they vanish. Negropolis…Madman Mason.  But not Korbi, our Viperfang."

[He stops in front of her, his smile fading into something reverent — but still calculating.]

Count Vlad:
"She did not win the title. But she won something far more important. She proved that her loyalty is not conditional. She did not waver. She did not question. She… believed."

[He glances at the camera, amused.]

Count Vlad:
"And belief… is the first step toward greatness."

[He turns back to Korbi.]

Count Vlad:
"Korbi… you are no longer just a loyal soldier in our beautiful war. From this night forward… you are the Chosen Daughter of the Dominion. You are my Enforcer. You will speak with my voice… and strike with my hand.  In the coming weeks, we will show the world what this truly means."

[Korbi steps forward slowly, with quiet intensity.]

Korbi:
"I don’t need pity… or justice… or excuses. I need retribution. And I will deliver it. Not for myself… but for the Dominion."

[She glares into the camera with venom.]

Korbi:
"You think you've seen wrath? You haven’t met me after I've been denied."

[Vlad chuckles, pleased.]

Count Vlad:
"Yes… very good. Let the world take notice. The Dark Dominion… has a new voice. And she’s all in.”

[The lights dim and a spotlight sweeps the entrance ramp. The arena echoes with jeers as Doofus Covfefe strides out in an absurdly patriotic suit—red, white, and blue sequins, and a tie that looks like an American flag. At his side, Waldo “Peter” Winchester clutches a smartphone, thumbs already poised to tweet.]

Crowd:  Booooo!

Doofus Covfefe (raising the mic, overly grandiose):
“Ladies and gentlemen—citizens of HCW—lend me your ears! I come before you not as a mere wrestler, but as the true leader of this ring! A ring that has been desecrated by failures like Steel Justice!”

Waldo ‘Peter’ Winchester (leaning in, smirking):
“That’s right—Skyhawk and the Raven Archer choked harder than a bad Wi-Fi connection. #ConnectionLost #Losers”

Doofus (waving a finger for effect):
“Imagine—two so-called ‘heroes’ who couldn’t close the deal at Critical Mass. I’m calling for a recount on every point they lost—because losing is unfair when you’re as brilliant as Doofus Covfefe!”

Waldo (tapping his phone):
“Just sent out a poll: 100% of the people want a rematch. Too bad they can’t handle real power… or real tweeties!”

Doofus (mockingly):
“So, Kellyn ‘The Raven Archer’ Chrisari and Alex ‘Skyhawk’ Justice—are you hiding backstage, hiding from scrutiny… or just hiding from me?”

[Suddenly, the opening chords of Steel Justice’s theme burst through the speakers. The crowd explodes as Alex ‘Skyhawk’ Justice and Kellyn ‘The Raven Archer’ Chrisari sprint to the ring, slapping hands with fans.]

Kellyn (snatching a mic mid-step):
“Doofus and Waldo—save the political theater! If you two want to back up your bluster, let’s do it right now. How about a tag match—here and now—no gimmicks, no recounts?”

Alex (raising his fist):
“That’s right. You talk a big game—now prove you can play it. Doofus Covfefe… Waldo Winchester… are you brave enough to step into the ring with Steel Justice?”

[The referee slides in, checks both teams. Doofus and Waldo exchange a nervous glance as the crowd’s chant rises: “Let’s go Steel! Let’s go!”]

Doofus (forced grin, mic back to his lips):
“Fine—fine! But don’t come crying to me when your hashtags turn into tears!”

[Bell rings—Steel Justice vs. Doofus Covfefe & Waldo ‘Peter’ Winchester is officially under way.]

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:  We are live, and right out the gate we’ve got pandemonium—Doofus Covfefe and Waldo ‘Peter’ Winchester spewing garbage, only to get drowned out by the roar of the crowd when Steel Justice hit the ramp!

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:  You'd think after Critical Mass, Doofus would be hiding under a desk, but nope—he brought his clown car to the ring, and Kellyn and Alex just slashed the tires.

Kellyn “The Raven Archer” Chrisari started the match off hot, using her speed and aerial precision to keep Waldo completely off balance. She soared with a beautiful Raven’s Flight Body Press that had the fans on their feet and Waldo clutching his ribs.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson: That’s the thing about Kellyn—she’s a precision missile. When she launches, she hits.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:  Yeah, and Waldo looked like he just got hit by a rogue drone strike.

Waldo did manage to catch her with a stomp, giving him just enough time to scramble and tag in Doofus Covfefe. Unfortunately for him, Alex “Skyhawk” Justice also entered—and it went downhill fast for the Doofus-in-Chief.

All four competitors got involved when things broke down completely. Skyhawk hit an incredible Skyhawk Moonsault Through the Table, followed by another devastating Raven’s Flight from Kellyn. Waldo hit a desperate Destroyer, and even Doofus managed to wrench in an armbar—though it looked more like an accidental yoga pose.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:  Doofus finally found a move that worked… too bad it came with a side of humiliation.

After the chaos, Alex “Skyhawk” Justice took control and sealed the deal with a thunderous Celestial Spiral Leg Drop on Waldo. “Honest” Abe counted the 1-2-3 without hesitation, and the arena exploded in approval.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:  Steel Justice bounces back in a big way and silences the 'Dumbass Duo' with authority!

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:  I’d say justice was served—hot, fast, and with a big ol’ boot to the ego.

WINNERS: Steel Justice:   Alex “Skyhawk” Justice pins Waldo Winchester after the Celestial Spiral Leg Drop

Just then:

[The ring is bathed in cold, white light as Jax Brenner, bruised and bloodied from his Hell in a Cell match, barges down to the ring and enters, destroying Doofus and Waldo who were too slow to leave.  He grabs a mic.  His expression is a volatile mix of anger and confusion. He motions toward the entrance ramp, calling out to Molly.]

Jax Brenner (his voice booming, filled with suspicion): "Molly! Get out here! No more running, no more hiding. I need answers, and I need them now! Where do your loyalties lie?!"

[Molly hesitates before stepping into the spotlight, her expression tense but composed. She cautiously approaches the ring, clearly nervous, clutching a mic of her own.]

Molly (pleading, her voice shaking slightly): "Jax, you’ve got to believe me. It wasn’t me in that match! I was jumped backstage—two women, they tied me up! I fought, but… I couldn’t stop them. That wasn’t me out there!"

[Jax paces the ring like a caged animal, his paranoia evident as he glares at her.]

Jax (growling, his voice bitter): "And I’m just supposed to take your word for it? After everything Yeti’s pulled, after everything I’ve seen? Molly, how can I believe you?"

[Molly’s frustration mounts, tears welling in her eyes as she steps closer to him.]

Molly (desperately): "Jax, I’ve never lied to you! I’ve been loyal to you since day one! You have to trust me—Yeti is playing us! Please, Jax, you know me!"

[Before Jax can respond, the arena lights dim and the ominous crackling of static fills the air. The big screen flickers on, revealing Yeti sitting in a dimly lit room, his ever-present sinister grin stretching across his face. He leans forward, chuckling darkly.]

Yeti (mocking, his voice dripping with malice): "Oh, what a heartwarming scene. Molly, you’re even more devious than I gave you credit for. Tell him the truth, Molly. He deserves to know!"

[Molly, now on the verge of tears, turns to the screen, shouting back.]

Molly (angrily): "What are you talking about, Yeti?! You’re lying! Jax, don’t listen to him!"

[Jax clenches his fists, his confusion and anger growing as Yeti bursts into roaring laughter.]

Yeti: "You two are so easy. So predictable. Did you really think I’d leave it at gifts and whispers? No, Jax. It was time to raise the stakes."

[The camera pans slightly, and a red-haired woman steps into view, standing beside Yeti. She looks strikingly similar to Molly, her expression devilishly smug. Without hesitation, Yeti wraps an arm around her and lays a passionate kiss on her lips before turning back to the camera with an unsettling grin.]

Yeti (pointing at Jax, his voice icy): "Brenner, it was so easy to sow the seeds of distrust between you two. You should ask yourself why that is. Look deep into yourself—if you truly cared about Molly, it wouldn’t have been this easy to break you. But as I said before, Brenner… everything you care for, I will destroy."

[The woman by Yeti’s side smirks at the camera, holding onto his arm as they both erupt into cold, mocking laughter. The screen goes black, leaving the sound of their laughter echoing throughout the arena.]

[In the ring, Jax and Molly are left stunned, their world unraveling before their eyes. Jax’s grip tightens on the mic as he looks at Molly with doubt in his eyes, while Molly shakes her head, pleading silently.]

Jax and Molly leave the ring together; perplexed at what just transpired.

We are ready for the next match.  First, Muscles Thorpe comes out accompanied by his Muscles brothers Weasley and McGuire.  They act all goofy and give away boxes of Booty O’s cereal to the fans.  Thorpe makes his way to the ring on his own, ready to go.  The music changes and we hear “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYBODY” blaring out from the loudspeakers and out comes one half of the Heritage Tag Team Champions Dr. Red Fang and the ever-diabolical Count Vlad and Vlad’s brother Beastfang.  They are booed as they head to the ring but we don’t have long to wait for the action to begin.

Match #2:  Dr. Red Fang w/Count Vlad and Beastfang vs Muscles Thorpe

The bell rings, and Dr. Red Fang, accompanied by Vlad’s ominous brother Beastfang, steps into the ring with an intimidating presence. Muscles Thorpe, focused and powerful, squares off against him, looking determined to take on the monstrous opponent.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: “Here we go, Johnny! Muscles Thorpe has the strength advantage, but Dr. Red Fang brings an unsettling aura to this match.”

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: “Thorpe's gonna need more than size to beat Dr. Red Fang, Mike. This guy is relentless.”

Thorpe wastes no time, charging at Dr. Red Fang with a series of quick punches to the midsection. The hits land, but Dr. Red Fang barely flinches, his cold demeanor unwavering. He counters with a shoulder smash that knocks Thorpe back, showcasing his own raw power.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: “And just like that, Dr. Red Fang is turning the tide! Thorpe might’ve underestimated the ferocity of his opponent.”

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: “Dr. Red Fang’s a machine, Mike. He can take everything Thorpe throws at him and just keep coming back.”

Thorpe responds with a few more quick strikes, landing a punch to Dr. Red Fang’s chest that sends the enforcer stumbling. But before Thorpe can press the advantage, Dr. Red Fang catches him with a brutal Spider Web Leglock, locking in the submission. Beastfang watches from the outside, adding to the eerie tension in the air.

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: “Thorpe’s in trouble here, Mike. This submission could take him out of the match if he’s not careful.”

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: “Dr. Red Fang is an expert at wearing down his opponents, and Thorpe’s gotta find a way to escape this hold before it’s too late.”

Thorpe struggles but manages to break free, fighting back with a series of Side Belly-to-Belly Suplexes. The crowd cheers as he gains some momentum, but Dr. Red Fang quickly counters with a powerful Transylvanian Piledriver, rattling Thorpe. He follows it up with a devastating Vampire Lunge, sending Thorpe crashing to the mat.

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: “Oof! That Vampire Lunge was vicious, Mike. I don’t know how much more Thorpe can take.”

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: “Thorpe’s showing incredible heart here, but Dr. Red Fang’s assault is relentless. The Dark Dominion’s enforcer is in control now.”

As the match continues, Thorpe digs deep, pushing through the pain with a flurry of strikes, but Dr. Red Fang remains calm and methodical, landing crushing blows and submissions that wear down his opponent. The tension mounts, as Vlad’s sinister presence lingers at ringside, occasionally distracting the referee to help sway the match in favor of his enforcer.

Count Vlad (laughing from ringside): “It’s only a matter of time, gentlemen. The victory is already ours.”

Dr. Red Fang finishes the match with a final Transylvanian Piledriver, securing the pin on Muscles Thorpe. The referee counts to three, and Dr. Red Fang emerges victorious, standing tall in the ring as his brother Beastfang joins him in celebration.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: “And that’s it! Dr. Red Fang takes the win, and it’s another devastating victory for the Dark Dominion.”

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: “What a performance! Thorpe gave it everything, but Dr. Red Fang was just too much. The Dark Dominion is a force to be reckoned with.”

Vlad steps into the ring, raising Dr. Red Fang’s hand in victory. The sinister figure of the Dark Dominion continues to cast a shadow over HCW as the crowd reacts to their dominant presence.

The Dark Dominion head to the back and Thorpe eventually makes his way behind the curtain.

Match #3:  Ghee Buttersnaps vs Vinnie Albano w/ Pierre Boulay

Music hits and out comes Vinnie Albano and his manager Pierre Boulay.  Pierre and Vinnie jaw jack with the fans and Vinnie almost takes one fan out who was holding a “You lost to the Marconi’s” sign.  Fortunately, he avoided a lawsuit and only took the sign tearing it to pieces and throwing it into the crowd.

"Typical Vinnie Albano," said Mike "the Voice" Johnson from commentary. "Picking on fans before the match even starts."

"He’s in a foul mood tonight, Mike," Johnny "the Hammer" Harris added. "And that usually spells trouble for whoever’s across from him."

Pierre Boulay cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted at the crowd, "Cry me a river, you stupid Americans!" His accent made the taunt even more obnoxious, drawing a fresh wave of boos.

Moments later, the energy shifted. Ghee Buttersnaps’ music hit, and the arena came alive with cheers. Ghee bounded down the aisle, slapping hands and flashing that goofy, infectious grin — until Vinnie blindsided him near the ring steps!

"Come on, now!" barked Mike "the Voice" Johnson. "Vinnie couldn’t wait for the bell!"

Vinnie rammed Ghee into the steel steps with a sickening thud, then rolled him into the ring and demanded the official start the match. The referee reluctantly called for the bell.  Vinnie controlled the early moments, brutal and methodical. After a crushing body slam, he hurled Ghee out of the ring like yesterday’s garbage. The referee began the count.

"Buttersnaps better get back in there — fast," warned Johnny "the Hammer" Harris.

Ghee barely beat the count at nine, staggering back to his feet. Vinnie immediately pounced, whipping Ghee into the ropes and leveling him with a hard clothesline.

"It’s all Albano right now," said Mike "the Voice" Johnson. "He’s just mauling Buttersnaps."

Pierre Boulay crept up to the apron and tried to slip a foreign object to Vinnie, but Ghee caught them both! Ghee spun it into an armbar, wrenching Vinnie’s shoulder back viciously!

"Look at this! Pierre’s plan just blew up in their faces!" shouted Johnny "the Hammer" Harris.

The crowd roared as Ghee found his second wind. He connected with a flying cross-body, flattening Vinnie for a near fall. Pierre was beside himself on the outside, screaming at the referee, "COUNT FASTER, YOU MORON!"

Vinnie, desperate, thumbed Ghee in the eye when the ref wasn’t looking and hit a running splash for a two-count. He followed it with a suplex and another two.

"Buttersnaps just will not stay down!" Mike "the Voice" Johnson exclaimed. "Every time Vinnie thinks he’s got him — Ghee kicks out!"

Vinnie grew increasingly frustrated. He tossed Ghee outside again, hoping for a count-out win. But, to the crowd’s delight, Ghee pulled himself up and slid back in at nine once more.

Pierre banged on the apron, losing his mind. "We were robbed! ROBBED!" he shouted.

Inside the ring, Vinnie stalked Ghee — but made the mistake of taunting the fans. Ghee rolled him up for a flash pin attempt — two-count! Vinnie swung wildly; Ghee ducked, hit a belly-to-back suplex, and pointed to the crowd.

"Here we go! This could be the opening Ghee’s been waiting for!" yelled Johnny "the Hammer" Harris.

Ghee hit his "Ghee Hee Hee" rolling senton — once, twice — stunning Vinnie. When Vinnie wobbled to his feet, Ghee launched off the second rope with a flying splash, crashing down on Vinnie and hooking both legs.

1... 2... 3!

The place erupted!

"Ghee Buttersnaps pulls it off!" roared Mike "the Voice" Johnson. "Against all odds — and against Pierre’s dirty tricks — he gets the win!"

Pierre slammed his hands against the apron in frustration, shouting at Vinnie in rapid-fire French. Vinnie sat up, seething, staring a hole through Ghee, who celebrated on the turnbuckle, arms raised high as the fans chanted his name.

"I don’t think we’ve seen the last of this one, Mike," warned Johnny "the Hammer" Harris. "Vicious Vinnie Albano is not the kind of man who takes a loss lightly."

But the celebration didn’t last.

Vinnie suddenly lunged at Ghee from behind, clubbing him down with forearm shots to the back of the head.

"Oh, come on! The match is over!" barked Mike "the Voice" Johnson. "What a sore loser!"

"This is Albano at his worst!" added Johnny "the Hammer" Harris.

The fans booed heavily as Vinnie stomped away at Ghee, kicking him out of the ring. Just as it seemed Ghee was about to get completely destroyed, his tag team partner Ovaltine Jackson sprinted down the ramp to a massive pop!

"Here comes Ovaltine Jackson!" yelled Mike "the Voice" Johnson. "Ghee’s backup is here!"

But before Ovaltine could even reach the ring, "Dirty" Dick Albano came out from the crowd and blindsided him with a wicked clothesline!

"It’s a setup! It’s a setup!" cried Johnny "the Hammer" Harris.

With Ghee and Ovaltine both down, the Albano brothers ruthlessly went to work. Vinnie tossed Ghee back into the ring while Dick manhandled Ovaltine at ringside, ramming him into the barricade.

Inside the ring, Vinnie and Dick double-teamed Ghee with clubbing blows and a brutal double suplex that left him sprawled out and motionless. Meanwhile, Ovaltine tried to crawl back in, only to be stomped down by Dick.

Pierre Boulay climbed into the ring, beaming with pride. He stood between his two men, raising their arms triumphantly over the battered bodies of Ghee Buttersnaps and Ovaltine Jackson.

"The Albanos and Pierre Boulay standing tall," said Mike "the Voice" Johnson bitterly. "This is disgusting."

Pierre leaned over a fallen Ghee and sneered, "You are nothing compared to real athletes!"

Then, in unison, the Albano brothers snorted in derision, laughed, and walked off, leaving the wreckage of their ambush behind them.

"You can bet this isn’t over, folks," said Johnny "the Hammer" Harris grimly as the camera showed medics checking on Ghee and Ovaltine. "Not by a long shot."

[Scene: Backstage, a shadowy corridor lined with thick, red velvet curtains. The faint sound of distant cheers hums through the arena. Under a flickering light, Count Vlad stands with his arms crossed, the embodiment of patience mixed with ruthless calculation. Talia Nocturne — dark, fierce, and with a feverish gleam in her eyes — approaches, her boots clicking with deliberate speed.]

Talia Nocturne: (leaning in close, voice low but insistent)
"Count Vlad... you promised me. Black Mass... he belongs with us — with me! I feel it in my blood. You can make it happen. You have to!"

[Vlad smiles thinly, amused but clearly irritated beneath the surface. He steps closer, speaking in that low, charismatic growl — like Dario Cueto commanding his empire.]

Count Vlad:
"Talia... my beautiful creature of the night..."

(he places a cold hand lightly on her shoulder)

"I understand your passion. Your hunger. But tonight..."

(he leans closer, voice dropping into a whisper that feels like a blade against the skin)

"You must focus. Your destiny is not to chase infatuations... it is to seize power. To take what others cling to in fear — and make it yours."

[Talia clenches her fists, her lips curling into a frustrated but smirking snarl.]

Count Vlad:
"Win your match. Become the #1 contender. Then, when you wear the Heritage Women's Championship..."

(his eyes flash with menace)

"The whole world — including Black Mass — will have no choice but to kneel at your feet."

[Talia exhales sharply, the fire in her veins momentarily tempered by Vlad’s cold dominance. She gives a dark nod, brushing past him toward the curtain, her focus sharpened into a blade.]

Match #4:  Talia Nocturne w/ Count Vlad vs Lavender Gooms – the winner gets the next shot at the Heritage Women’s title.

Lavender Gooms makes her way out first to a decent pop from the crowd.  She gets into the ring and motions for her opponent to come out.  She doesn’t wait long.

Talia Nocturne and Count Vlad come out to a chorus of booing from the fans. Talia skipped her way to the ring while Count Vlad walked with grace and purpose.

The bell rang under the watchful eye of referee "Honest" Abe as Talia Nocturne, accompanied by the ever-sinister Count Vlad, circled with Lavender Gooms. The stakes were sky-high: a shot at the Heritage Women's Championship awaited the victor.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson called it right away. "Johnny, you can feel the tension. Talia’s representing the Dark Dominion, but Lavender’s been scratching and clawing for this opportunity!"

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris nodded, leaning into his mic. "Yeah, but Talia’s got the advantage in that Count Vlad is lurking at ringside. You just know he’s gonna stick his nose where it doesn’t belong."

Right out of the gate, Talia seized momentum, yanking Lavender down across her knee with a vicious Pendulum Backbreaker that had the fans wincing. Lavender tried to respond quickly, catching Talia with a PRESS AND SLAM that rattled the canvas, but Nocturne was like a shadow — she slipped right back in control, drilling Lavender with an Inverted DDT.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson exclaimed, "Talia is chaining her offense together — Lavender needs to slow this down!"

Lavender showed her resilience, springing back with a RUNNING LEG DROP that caught Talia by surprise. But every time Gooms found an opening, Talia answered — including a crisp Slingblade that nearly took Lavender’s head off.

The story took a sinister turn moments later. As Lavender stumbled to her feet, Count Vlad, grinning ear to ear, produced what Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris called "some kind of medieval stake," and jabbed Lavender in the side with the Transylvania Spike!

"Come on, ref!" Mike 'the Voice' Johnson shouted. "That’s a blatant shot! Count Vlad just drove that spike into Lavender’s ribs and 'Honest' Abe didn’t catch it!"

Talia pounced with a cover, but Lavender — fighting from instinct — kicked out after one. The fans roared, urging her on.  Lavender fought back, scoring with a HURRICANRANA that sent Talia sprawling, then followed up with a Sliding Kick to the outside. The tide seemed to be turning… until Count Vlad struck again, shoving the referee to create a distraction just long enough for Talia to recover.

Still, Lavender wouldn’t stay down. She caught Talia with a PUMPHANDLE SIDE SLAM that rattled the mat, drawing a "THIS IS AWESOME" chant from pockets of the crowd.

Yet every time Lavender tried to press, Count Vlad’s sinister presence loomed — antagonizing, jeering, and distracting her just enough to shift the tide back toward Talia.

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris shook his head. "Mike, you said it earlier — it's not just fighting Talia, it's fighting the whole Dark Dominion."

In the closing moments, Talia hoisted Lavender up once more — Pendulum Backbreaker! — and this time, Lavender didn’t have enough left to kick out.

"One! Two! Three!" "Honest" Abe’s hand hit the mat and the bell rang.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson shouted, "Talia Nocturne has stolen this one — thanks in no small part to Count Vlad!"

Talia rose, a wicked smile curling across her lips, while Count Vlad applauded as if they had just completed a symphony. The Dark Dominion's anthem blared as Talia stood tall over Lavender’s fallen body.

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris closed it perfectly: "Talia’s got her ticket punched for a Heritage Women's Championship match, Mike."

After the match, Vlad and Talia made their way backstage.   Lavender eventually made her way to the back also.

We cut to commercial break but in the meantime, lighting up the Omegatron, Vlad and Talia joined with the Dark Dominion (except the Nightstalkers who were preparing for their match) in Vlad’s office.  We see Venus N.V. sneaking around and she hops into a forklift and drives it and parks right in front of Vlad’s office door.  Everyone inside is blocked which will allow the main event to go on without interference (except maybe from her.)

The Nightstalkers, Bloodfang and Shadowfang come out first minus their manager.  They look around for just a moment and then head to the ring (they are unaware of what transpired backstage).  They get into the ring and start inciting the fans.

That changed when Black Mass and Venus N.V. came out to a surprisingly loud pop.  The duo make it to the ring and enter.  Black Mass stands tall looking eye to eye with the Nightstalkers until…

the lights suddenly went out. The crowd roared in anticipation — and when the lights snapped back on, Rest in Pieces were standing in the ring, united with Kurse the Death Dealer.

Mike "the Voice" Johnson:  "I still get chills every time he does that. He just... appears!"

Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:  "And where’s Count Vlad? You gotta wonder what would be happening if he wasn’t locked behind that forklift thanks to Venus!"

With Vlad absent, the Night Stalkers had no backup — and Black Mass wasted no time pouncing on Shadowfang. A crushing Smash to the Face followed by a Bludgeon left Shadowfang reeling early. Black Mass attempted a pin, but Shadowfang barely kicked out, showing his trademark toughness.

Seizing the moment, Black Mass and Kurse executed ruthless double teams: the Masster Baiter, the Choke in the Corner, and later the devastating Mass Destruction and Death Certificate Power Bomb combination. Shadowfang, despite a gutsy Abyss Slam and Flying Headbutt Drop, was injured and overwhelmed, forcing a desperate tag to Bloodfang Viktor Drakov.

Bloodfang stormed in swinging, delivering a Shoulder Pinch and a ferocious Bloodhound Bite, but Rest in Pieces were relentless. Another sequence of double-team attacks — Critical Mass and Death Knell — softened Bloodfang up, setting the table for the end.

Black Mass delivered a savage DDT, hooked the leg deep, and scored the 1-2-3 before Bloodfang could escape.

Winners: Black Mass (pinfall over Bloodfang Viktor Drakov after a DDT)

As Venus raised Black Mass' and Kurse’s arms, the lights suddenly cut out again. When they flickered back on — Rest in Pieces were gone. No trace. No celebration. Just a silent, eerie message left in the ring.

Johnny "the Hammer" Harris:  "Like phantoms in the night... they take what they want, then vanish. And with Count Vlad trapped backstage, there was no one to stop them!"

Mike "the Voice" Johnson:  "Tonight, Rest in Pieces didn't just win — they made a statement. And you have to believe Count Vlad is gonna have something to say about this once he gets free!"

With that, tonight’s show comes to a close.  Be sure to come back next week as we mark the 9th anniversary of HCW’s creation.  Stay tuned.
