Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. After the pyro goes off starting our show, the Snake Pit (Leiton, Tobias and Niven Snake) come out to booing from the fans. The trio do a fist bump on the stage and then head to the ring. The Pit gloat about how they can “do it all” and this brings out GM Max McGillicutty. Max questions their ability to “do it all” and Leiton tells him that if need be, they can wrestle all night as they are not just 60 minute men but 120 minute. Tobias says he can go 180 minutes if the situation is right. Max shakes his head. “So, you think you can; how about this then. Leiton, you are in a singles match tonight. Tobias and Niven, you are in a tag team match.” They smile at one another. “Oh, the tag match is for the World Tag Team titles.” They smile and seem ecstatic. BUT…you, collectively as the Pit, are in a 6 Man Tag Team match also. And THAT match is for the 6 Man Tag Team titles. There is a catch though…Leiton, you must win your singles match otherwise the 6 Man tag team match becomes a handicap match. Good luck everyone. Leiton, stick around…your match is first. The fans pop as the Snake Pit sneer at the GM and then converse in the ring. The music hits and out comes Master Bull. The fans pop as the former GM makes his way down to the ring. The ref orders Niven and Tobias to the back and refuses to start the match until they leave. Finally they do and the bell rings kicking off our show. Master Bull took Leiton to the limit even though the former GM wasn’t faring so well. It also didn’t help when, while Leiton was distracting the ref, Dash Woodbrick came down and smashed a chair into Bull’s leg. Bull had a very hard time finishing the match but at 19 minutes, an exhausted Leiton Snake hit Bull with an Enzuiguri and covered him for the 3 count. Leiton gets the win and will join his teammates in their quest for the 6 Man titles later tonight. (19 min)
Backstage, the 6
Man Tag Team Champs led by Wilber Townsend, tell the Pit that their troubles
are only beginning and it’s not looking good for them to win anything
tonight. Wilber ends the segment
cackling.
We are ready for
our next match. First, the British
Crippler makes her way out to booing from the crowd. She gets into the ring and waits for her
opponent. The music changes, the stages
fills with fog and out like a bullet comes Violet Valkyrie. She rushes down to the ring sliding under the
bottom rope only to be met by boots from the Crippler. The match begins in the Cripplers’ favor
however it doesn’t last long and Violet begins to dismantle her opponent. It takes 29 minutes but Violet finally ends
it with a jumping knee smash. She makes
the cover getting the 3 count. As she is
celebrating in the ring, the 3 “bears” come out. Violet grabs a chair and is ready. Bear #1 removes its head and its…a
nobody. Same with Bear #2 and 3. We have no idea who they are. Violet seems confused also until she is cold
cocked from behind by Goldie Locks who took her out with a vicious forearm
smash to the back of Violet’s head.
Goldie stands over her smirking and eventually leaves with the
“bears”. (29 min for the match; 5 for
the aftermath)
Tobias and Niven
Snake are joined by Leiton. Leiton says
that he will have time to rest and will be ready for the 6 Man titles in the
main event. Tobias promises that the
current champions’ title reign ends tonight.
We are back in the
ring. First, Billy Robbins comes out to
a nice pop from the crowd. Next, Dash
Woodbrick comes out and the fans boo the crap out of him. He smirks and struts down to the ring without
a care. He gets into the ring and goes
right after Billy. Dash had the match in
hand until Master Bull came out. That
threw Dash totally off his game. At the
15 minute mark, Billy caught Dash with a flying body press. Dash got his foot on the bottom rope after
the one count but Master Bull knocked it off and ended up making the 3 count
awarding the win to Billy Robbins. Dash
was pissed and tried to complain to the ref.
Bull got into the ring and he and Dash brawled until security came out
to break them up. (15 min for the match;
5 for the aftermath)
A camera man makes
his way to the Masked Banana’s fan club. Lots of different fans are dressed in
all kinds of fruit – grapes, bananas, apples, etc. Rumor has it that MB himself is in disguise
here but we have no idea what he looks like so there is no way we’d know if we
saw him. Someone makes the comment that
MB needs to stand up to a bully like Maxine.
Everyone in the club yells in agreement but we see someone sneaking off
in the back. MB maybe?
Betsy Cummings and
her twin Felicia come out to booing from the crowd. They make their way down and begin insulting
the Ladies division. They paid extra
attention to former Ladies Champion Korbi Kong.
This of course brought Korbi out and she challenged Betsy to a match
right now. Betsy accepted. There was soo much cheating in this match it
was unbelievable. Betsy and Felicia did
the ol’ switcheroo at least 6 times which kept Korbi on defensive. Betsy/Felicia kept the match going but it
wasn’t until about 25 minutes in that the ref finally caught on and sent
Felicia, pouting, to the back. Now that the odds were evened up, Korbi took the
fight to Betsy and 4 minutes later at the 29 minute mark, Korbi locked Betsy up
with an Arm Triangle lock. Betsy
squirmed but it was no use and seconds later, she tapped out. Korbi Kong gets the win and begins to
celebrate until Felicia comes out and attacks a weary Korbi. Violet Valkyrie and Hayley Hailstorm rush out
chasing the twins from the ring. They
stuck around just long enough to ensure there were no more attacks coming and
then left. Korbi celebrated with the
fans before leaving.
“Hey Margarita”
begins to play and out comes the Masked Banana to a pretty loud pop from the crowd. He makes his way to the ring and asks for a
mic.
“I’m not sure why
Mean Maxine has it in for me but it’s ok…I’ll persevere. In fact, I would like Maxine to come out and
join me in the ring.” Maxine comes out
and looks perturbed but does make her way to the ring. She tries to take his mic but he doesn’t let
go.
“First, I’m not
sure what I did to you to make you so mean but listening to the great peeps
that are my fans, they think I should push back. See, what you did to me putting me up against
Mason was just downright cruel. I want
to know why you, Sassy Maxine Danny DeVito are such a sour puss. With a little help from my friends, we
uncovered some pictures of you from your younger days. Take a gander.”
The Omegatron then
shows 3 different images and we see Maxine get more and more heated with each
one.
The fans think it’s
a riot and start taunting Maxine by calling her Danny DeVito. He says “Hang one, I got one more and this
one will really bowl you over.”
An enraged Maxine
takes a swing at MB but he bails out of the ring. He rushes over to his fans in the Banana Boat
and they all get a good laugh at Maxine’s expense. She demands a mic but before she can
retaliate, the mic is shut off and we go to commercial.
Once we return
from commercial, Maxine is gone and we are ready for our first co-Main
event. Niven and Tobias Snake come out
first to booing from the fans. They do a
fist bump on the stage and then make their way to the ring. They don’t have to wait long for the Tag Team
champions Davis ‘the Hoff’ Hoffmeister and Drew the Canadian Love Machine to
come out to a huge pop from the crowd. They make it down to the ring. The match begins almost immediately.

Snake Pit.

"the Hoff" Hoffmeister wins via DISQUALIFICATION FROM OUTSIDE
INTERFERENCE!!!
Davis and Drew
retain the titles via DQ. They battle
the Freedom Fighters all the way to the back.
Scooter J comes
out and stands on the stage. He says
that he is officially announcing that he is cashing in his MITB contract for a
shot at Jack Lumber’s World title. He tells
Jack he’ll see him there. Scooter J then
leaves.
Leiton Snake comes
out and joins his brothers in the ring.
The lights dim and out comes the 6 Man Tag Team Champions – Wilber Townsend,
Otto Ruthless and Talon McFrost. The
champs are booed as they head to the ring.
The fans are torn on who they want to cheer for as they don’t seem to
care for either team. Wilber meets
Leiton in the center of the ring and holds his title in Leiton’s face before shoving
him to his corner. Wilber then
laughs. The champs get ready for the
match to begin. For the first 8 minutes,
the Snake Pit were the more aggressive but after that, the champs took control
of the match. Both teams went for pin
attempts but none could close the deal.
At the 20 minute mark, the Pit pulled Talon McFrost out of the ring and
triple powerbombed him through the announce table effectively taking him out of
the match. The champs managed to hold on
for the last 10 minutes of the match. In
the final minute, Niven and Leiton were double teaming Otto. Niven struck first hitting a back suplex side
slam. Otto managed to dump him over the
top rope to the floor before Leiton struck with a diving somersault neckbreaker. The bell rang bringing this one to a draw
finish before anyone could make any other pin attempts. The champs retain via time limit draw. The show comes to an end with Wilber and Otto
celebrating in the ring. Eventually
Talon rejoined his team.
