Hello
fans and welcome back to our newsletter.
Well, the PPV brought us a lot of surprises with the biggest one being
Ravishing Raquel defeating her husband ‘The Elitist’ Reid Rothchild for the
Elitist title. We also some of the
titles change hands with King Wilber Townsend defeating first champion Texas
Wildfire and then getting a cheap win over Drew the Canadian Love Machine.
After
the show went off the air, Drew was backstage looking for King Wilber and he
was attacked by Super Shockmaster. SS
beat Drew down telling him not to “overlook the Super Shockmaster”. Those two will meet tonight. Also meeting tonight is Southern Belle and El
Gato Negro fighting over the held up title from the PPV.
The
show begins with a bloodied and bandaged up Magnum Kone power walking down to
the ring. He says that the monster known
as Covfefe has attacked him again.
Magnum says he’s tired of it and says he’s heading to the ring and wants
Covfefe to face him man to man. Covfefe
no-shows. He knows he’s here so he
leaves to go look for him.
Just
before our first match can begin, the World Champion King Wilber Townsend comes
out and goes to sit at commentary. He says he wants to see Drew in action
against a much bigger opponent. The
Super Shockmaster comes out first and the crowd boos him. Next, Drew the Canadian Love Machine comes
out and gets a huge pop from the crowd.
He is determined so makes a beeline for the ring. SS bails laughing as Drew stews in the
ring. Drew gets on the mic and tells SS
that he is tired of him getting into his business (and others) and says it’s
time for him to leave. SS takes a mic
and tells Drew that if he is so confident, they should make this a loser leaves
town match where the loser MUST leave HCW.
Drew…agrees! SS gets back in the
ring laughing and the bell rings.
Both
men battled hard but a distraction from King Wilber Townsend allowed Super
Shockmaster to hit Drew with an illegal headbutt. This brought out Sonic Blade. Sonic stopped the ref from making the
count. Wilber and Super Shockmaster
looked on in confusion and that allowed Drew to hit SS with a corkscrew
pescado. Drew made the cover (Wilber
tried to interfere but Sonic stopped him) and got the 1-2-3. Drew the Canadian Love Machine gets the win
and now Super Shockmaster has to leave.
SS tried to attack Drew again but the ref stopped him. Drew managed to get a hold of SS’s helmet and
yanked it off of SS’s head. SS covered
his face with his hands and ran from the ring screaming “this isn’t the last
you’ll see of me”. Drew then glared at
King Wilber who made a hasty departure.
Before Sonic left, he reached under the ring and gave him a
sledgehammer. Drew took it and SMASHED
SS’s helmet in hundreds of pieces much to the delight of the fans. Drew stares at Wilber who remained on
stage. Wilber began to chastise Sonic
but Sonic kept walking and Wilber was flabbergasted. He eventually left. Drew celebrated with the fans before departing
also. (7 min for the match; 5 extra for the additional segment)
Hoff n
Spicy are backstage and they question why their match ended on a CO and wasn’t
restarted but the Ladies was.
Regardless, they went toe to toe with the champs and held their own and
now the Curtain can’t stand someone upstaged them. Hoff says that if they want to get even, all
they have to do is put those belts on the line in a no DQ/CO match. DJ calls the champs cowards and says that if
they want something done, they will do it themselves.
A
promo is cut by the Honorable J C Dykes and he says that the ‘man’ graces HCW
with his presence tonight. Dykes tells
HCW that security better be up to snuff or there will be hell to pay.
We
head back to the ring and returning from a brief hiatus is Pete Punsher (no
longer calling himself the PUN-isher).
Pete was able to convince the institution that he was indeed playing a
character and that he wasn’t crazy (although others would tell you differently). His
opponent comes out and it’s the monster known as Covfefe. Pete has a look on his face that screams
“Really?” Covfefe gets in the ring and
immediately goes after Pete. Covfefe
beat down on Pete and was wiping the mat with him. Covfefe nailed a Black Hole Slam and then
hurled Pete out of the ring. Pete wasn’t
able to make it back in and got counted out.
Covfefe gets the win. Just then,
the lights go out and when they come back on a few seconds later, Magnum Kone
is in the ring but Covfefe is gone.
Magnum is pissed he missed him again.
He looks under the ring but then suddenly goes limp. He gets dragged under the ring and then a few
seconds later, Covfefe makes his way out from under the ring. He laughs as he makes his way to the
back. Some shirts come out and pull a
bloody Magnum Kone out. You almost can’t
see his face through the crimson mask he is wearing. I’m sure this isn’t over by a long shot. (12 ½ min for the match; 5 additional for the
segment).
Larry
Morton is backstage with former champion Texas Wildfire. TW says that normally he would wait but after
losing his belt the way he did, he is not a patient man. He tells Wilber that at the next show, he is
enacting his rematch clause for the World Title.
We
head to the ring for our next match. Missy
Chick makes her way out first to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Next, Figgy Newton comes out and introduces
his charge Taylor Bella. He provides
some words of wisdom and they head down to the ring. The match begins with Taylor going right on
the offensive. Taylor heeded the advice
of Figgy each time he gave it which made him a happy camper. She took her time with the match outwrestling
Missy at each turn. Finally, in the
final moments of the match, Figgy told her to finish it and she executed a
hurricanrana and made the cover to get the 3 count. Taylor Bella wins the match at 19
minutes. She and Figgy celebrated in the
ring briefly before departing.
Back
in the GM office, Max McGillicutty is meeting with his forensic investigator
Gardinia Blue. She tells Max she did a
little digging and was able to find some details on this J C Dykes fella. She tells Max that he is a veteran manager
from the UK. He has managed 10 World Champions and 25 World Tag-Team Champions.
He hails from the hills of Tennessee and he has a southern accent. He seems to
carry a whistle, loaded canteen (not sure what it’s loaded with), and unseen
fireballs. He can be a very lively talker during the matches. He is a HEAT Missile and HCW really needs to
keep an eye on him to keep him in check.
A limo
pulls up outside and stops in front of a bunch of security personnel. The Honorable J C Dykes exits first and then
is followed out by his charge the Unknown Assassin. Dykes directs security to lead them to the
ring (ala Goldberg). While they are making
their way to the ring, his opponent ‘The Gold Standard’ Bruce Biltmore comes
out and heads down to the ring. He
barely makes it in when pyro goes off and security line the ramp all the way
down to the ring. The Honorable J C
Dykes comes out first and then waits for the Unknown Assassin to join him and
then they head down to the ring. The
Unknown Assassin removes his robe and then motions for Bruce to back off while
he does some stretches. The fans are not
sure yet what to make of this guy but he sure is pompous. Finally, he’s ready to begin. He did not take it easy on Bruce. In fact, he took much delight in punishing
Bruce as his first opponent upon entering HCW.
Dykes interfered by slamming Bruce’s leg against the steel post. Bruce would eventually battle back and try to
retaliate against Dykes but the Unknown Assassin would just mow him down. UA kept up the intensity and finally, after
blasting Bruce with English Forearm Strikes (maybe the elbow slipped in
there?), he made the cover and Bruce laid their counting the lights for 3
seconds. The Unknown Assassin is
victorious in his HCW debut (score 148 to 62).
The Honorable J C Dykes gets on the mic and tells all the champions in
HCW to beware of the Unknown Assassin as he will mow his way through to the
World Champion and it doesn’t matter if it’s King Wilber, Drew the CLM, Texas
Wildfire….the Unknown Assassin will beat them all and be the next World
Champion.
Backstage,
Larry Morton is with Southern Belle. He
asks Belle if she’s ready. She replies
saying she should be the champion and this is all a formality. Tonight, she takes what is rightfully hers.
Also
backstage, Clarkus Kentus is with El Gato Negro. El Gato tells Clarkus that Belle is a flash
in the pan and she should be the champion but if the GM wants to change the
rules, she’ll show them all why she won the belt in the first place and why she’ll
get it back again.
It’s
time for the main event. Southern Belle
makes her way out first to a mixed reaction from the crowd. She yells at one of the fans that it doesn’t
matter what he thinks, she’s walking out the champ. Next, El Gato makes her way out next to a
huge pop from the crowd. The ref holds
up the Ladies title and says that this will be a no DQ/no CO match with a 60
min time limit. One fall takes it all. Through the first 7 minutes, both ladies were
neck and neck. After Belle nailed a
flying bodypress and a close 2 count, she took the match to El Gato. We join the match now at the 15 minute mark.
