HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 - 01.1

Hello fans and welcome to our first newsletter of the New Year.  As a quick recap, here the champions with their respective titles:

HWF
·         World Champion – Kane
·         Intercontinental Champion – Randy Orton
·         European Champion – Kazarian
·         X-Division Champion – Professor Cobra

CSWA
·         World Champion – AJ Styles
·         US Champion – Sheamus
·         North American Champion – Curtis Axel
·         Internet Media Champion – CM Punk

Universal titles (defended in both federations):
·         Undisputed Heavyweight Champion – Kane
·         World Tag team Champions – A-Team (any combo of Antonio Cesaro, Austin Aries, Alberto Del Rio)
·         6 Man tag team champions – Prestige Inc
·         Women’s Champion – Gail Kim

“The Elitist” Reid Rothchild has his Elitist Title back and Ravishing Raquel anointed herself as the Diva’s Champ.  After that transpired, Master Bull has expressly forbidden any other wrestlers creating their own belts.  Only those authorized by the CSWA and HWF will be allowed.  Due to this new rule, Reid and Raquel were both told that if they wanted to keep these titles, they would have to be defended.  If they are unwilling to defend them, their “toys” will have to stay at home.

News for 2014:
·         60 minute time limit, best of 3 falls for all champions.  This does away with the automatic rematch.
·         There will be a new draft in the coming week.  Only those holding “real” titles will be exempt.
·         Anyone carrying around what can be construed as a title will be required to defend it.

Former announcer Bodacious Brian met up with Master Bull to talk about his road to the ring.  Master Bull told him to go and find someone to train him.  He would cover the necessary training costs to do so.  At the end of December, Brian started to travel all around North America looking for someone to train him.  He was getting a later start at this (wrestling) but was determined to make it happen (Hell, if Batista can do it…).  After a solid 2 weeks of searching with no luck, he ended up in a bar in Mexico.  He had come to the end of his ropes unable to find a trainer.  He mentions to the barkeep, while nursing a drink, that his quest had become futile.  The barkeep turned and said “Your answer is over there, senor vampire” (this must have been because Brian looked sickly white in the dimly lit room).  Brian looks over his shoulder to see a man sitting in the corner.  Even though this is Mexico, I’d say the man looked like Pai Mei (yes, the martial artist from the Kill Bill movies.  We will just call him that from now on.)  He motioned for Brian to come over.  “So, you want to be a professional wrestler?” Pai Mei asked.  Brian replied “Yes, more than anything.  I have come to train to seek revenge against the scumbag known as El Chango.” Pai Mei looks at him and says “It will be a hard, long journey.  Your tuition has been covered.  We should get started.”  Brian stands up confidently and says “I’m not afraid.”  Pai Mei turns to him and says (yep, you guessed it) “You will be.”  (Hey, did you say that in Yoda’s voice?)

Master Bull announces a new talent being brought in from Mexico; a guy by the name of Malo Leche de Mantequilla (which means bad buttermilk).  He will be part of the upcoming draft.  Brian, when he returns, will also be added to a roster.

We also found out that the beloved Mexicali Flyers – Tornado en Fuego and El Dragon Insano have won the NJWW (New Japan worldwide wrestling) Tag team titles.  Good for them.

Our next issue will cover the draft.  Stay tuned.  More to come.
