Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. On today’s card, Chloe Parker challenges Dixie Caverns for her spot in the top 10 lineup. Jack Lumber goes one on one with the mysterious Mr. X. The Wicked Prophet takes on 1/3rd of the Six Man Tag Champs Alejandro Guerrero. Dennis Marshall challenges Saturn Frost for his spot in the US title line up. In our main event, the World Tag Team Champions – the New Sicilians – take on the powerful Smashers. Let’s get to the action.
After the pyro goes
off, we are interrupted by the TV Champion Evan Stockwell and his manager Ruth
Heartless. Evan has a mic in hand. Evan says he takes offense to the comments
Duke made about his manager. He agrees
that the two will meet again in the future and he will make him pay for those
comments. The duo are booed as they exit
the stage. Now, I think we are ready for
our show to begin.
Match #1: Chloe
Parker challenges Dixie Caverns for her spot in the Ladies Top 10
Chloe comes out
first and is booed. She doesn’t seem to
care and heads to the ring. She does
some light stretches and wait for her opponent.
Dixie Caverns comes out nest and she gets a decent pop from the crowd. She heads right to the ring and motions she
is ready to go.

Dixie gets the win
and retains her spot. As she is
celebrating, the Ladies Champion Luciana Albano comes out and mockingly claps
for her. She has a mic and she tells
Dixie to live it up as when they meet, she will be singing “The night, I broke
ol’ Dixie down”. The fans boo her. She smirks and then heads to the back.
Match #2:
Dennis Marshall challenges Saturn Frost for his spot.
Dennis makes his
way out first to a solid pop from the crowd.
He makes his way to the ring shaking hands with the fans before rolling
in under the bottom rope. He raises his
arms high and the fans respond positively.
Wildman Saturn Frost comes out next and he is booed heavily. He flips the fans off and makes his way into
the ring. Right before the match could
begin, the US Champion Wilber Townsend comes out and smirks at Dennis as he
goes to sit at commentary. Wilber being
at commentary did throw Dennis off his game which only benefitted Saturn. We join the match at the 7 minute mark.

sneaks up behind Dennis and VICIOUSLY hurls him into the steel steps before
dumping him into the crowd. He then took
off.
Dennis
Marshall is on the outside. The ref
begins the count.

Saturn Frost wins with a THROW OUT OF RING - Count Out over Dennis Marshall!!!
Dennis got robbed
of his opportunity to move up. He makes
it to his feet and the fans give him a nice pop. He makes his way backstage.
Match #3: Jack
Lumber vs Mr. X
The unpredictable
Mr. X comes out first. He is booed
heavily as he makes his way to the ring.
He gets in the ring and stand defiantly and crosses his arms in an X. “TIMMMMBERRRR” echoes from the speakers and
Jack Lumber makes his way out. Jack gets
the loudest pop of the night as he makes his way to the Lumber Lounge and then
to the ring. He stands tall letting the
fans do their thing and then motions he is ready to go.
The match was
extremely closer than anybody may have predicted. Mr. X and Jack took turns controlling the
pace of the match. The fans were
negative when Mr. X was in control and they popped huge when Jack was. At the 20 minute mark, Jack hit Mr. X with a
spear but Mr. X locked in a Sugar Cane Sleeper to prevent the pin attempt. Mr. X then dropped Jack with a turnaround
sidekick and then a barefoot kick but then Jack hit the Axe out of
nowhere. He quickly made the cover and
got the 1-2-3. Jack Lumber gets the win
and the fans pop huge for him. Mr. X
contemplates attacking Jack but he backs off and then heads to the back. Jack celebrated with the fans and made his
own way to the back.
Match #4: Wicked
Prophet vs Alejandro Guerrero
Alejandro Guerrero
comes out first to a nice pop from the crowd.
He sees lots of fans wearing masks and gives them a salute. He rushes down to the ring and slides in
under the bottom rope. He climbs the 2nd
turnbuckle and then holds his arms high.
His music is then abruptly cut off and out comes the Wicked
Prophet. Prophet is booed heavily as he
makes his way out and down to the ring.
He doesn’t need to showboat for the fans and he attacks Lee from behind
to start the match.

win and the fans pop huge for him.
Prophet is bewildered at what just happened. He slaps his hands on the mat in frustration
and then leaves without further incident…much to everyone’s surprise. Lee stayed a few moments later and then also
left.
We cut backstage
where Mr. X has attacked Jack Lumber.
The two are fighting but Mr. X is devious and keeps kicking Jack below
the belt. Security rushes over and
breaks it up. Jack tells Mr. X he wants
him back in the ring and X agrees.
Match #5: The
Main Event: World Tag Team Title Match: The New Sicilians w/Pierre Boulay vs the
Smashers
The Smashers make
their way out first and are booed heavily.
When the Champions the New Sicilians came out, the booing was even
louder. The fans do not like either team
and hope they beat the holy hell out of each other. Dick and Vinnie wore their titles around
their waists while their manager Pierre Boulay carried the portrait of Cpt. Lou
as inspiration. The champs held their
titles high and even turned to hold them in the faces of their challengers in a
mocking gesture. They handed the titles
to the ref and then all 4 men started to slug it out. The ref figured he was not going to get
control until the match began so he had the bell rung to start things off. The Smashers used their power and size and
completely dominated the challengers.
They managed to keep Pierre’s interference to a bare minimum. We jump ahead to the 17th minute
of the match.

The New Sicilians
are victorious but the fans are not happy with the ending as they wanted to see
both teams beat the crap out of each other.
The Smashers left first and eventually the New Sicilians and Pierre
followed.
Just as the show
was wrapping up, GM Max McGillicutty comes out and thanks the fans here and at
home for attending. As he is finishing
his thanks, he is interrupted by none other than the Rich Athlete. The Rich Athlete comes out strutting and
showboating as only he can. He says that
these shows are nothing without him (the fans booing intensifies) and after
telling a few people to “Shut their fat traps”, he continues by saying that
while he concentrates on taking whatever gold he wants in HCW, he needs someone
to manage his affairs. He says he will
look internal but also external to find the best person who will complement
him. “The pleasure, as always, is all
yours” he says before he makes his way backstage. Max rolls his eyes, thanks the fans once
again and then the show comes to an end.
