Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. Tonight, the Ambassador’s full crew will be in action. Tommy ‘the Morningstar’ Sullivan will take on Duke Knight. Azrael gets his shot at the Jax Brenner’s Hardcore title. Dr. Red Fang is joined by the newest addition to the roster (and this is the “person” who showed up a couple of weeks back. We have since learned that it’s name is Nightfang and he/it will be teaming with Dr. Red Fang and they will be known as “The Fangs of Despair”. Negropolis also sees action taking on HCW’s resident color of Orange fan – Owen Zestwell. We will also see Korbi Kong and Goldie Locks teaming up to take on the Cummings twins – Betsy and Felicia. Let’s get right to the action.
Introduce
Nightfang
Nightfang is a mysterious and
enigmatic figure. Born in the shadows, Nightfang's origins are shrouded in
secrecy, adding an aura of mystique to his persona. With a penchant for
darkness and an arsenal of acrobatic moves, he strikes fear into the hearts of
his opponents. Nightfang's wrestling style is as unpredictable as his
backstory, blending high-flying maneuvers with swift strikes, keeping his
adversaries constantly guessing. His presence in the ring is commanding, with
an air of danger surrounding him like a cloak. Nightfang is often seen wearing
attire predominantly in black, symbolizing his connection to the shadows.
Accentuating this darkness, hints of deep purple are incorporated into his
costume, adding to his mysterious allure. Whether he's scaling the turnbuckles
or striking from the shadows, Nightfang is a force to be reckoned with in the
world of HCW.
Match #1: The Fangs of Despair w/the Ambassador vs the
Muscles Duo.
The Duo come out
first and do their goofy shtick but then are attacked by Dr. Red Fang and
Nightfang. The fangy duo drag the
Muscles to the ring and roll them in.
The Ambassador directs his team to their corner and the bell rings
starting this one off.

Match #2: Negropolis
vs Owen Zestwell
Owen ‘Orange Fury’
Zestsell makes his way out to a nice pop from the crowd. He sees a group of fans all wearing his
signature orange and goes over to interact with them. He finally gets into the ring and paces as he
waits for his opponent. The music
changes and out comes Negropolis who gets more heat than the Fangs did in the
last match. This guy is just not liked
at all and the fans are vocal about it.
He reciprocates and mouths off to the fans as he makes his way to the
ring. He goes over to the group of fans
wearing orange and begins to berate them.
Owen was not going to have that so he jumps out of the ring and begins
peppering Negroplis with lefts and rights until Negroplis rolled into the ring
to get away from him.

Match #3: Tommy
Sullivan vs Duke Knight
Duke Knight comes
out first and gets a solid pop from the crowd.
A chant starts “You were robbed” (referring to Evan Stockwell’s
underhanded tatics in taking the TV title from him). He acknowledges the fans and takes a mic and
says “I agree with you. Evan, if you
think this is done between us, you are sadly mistaken. I will come back after that title and when we
meet again, I’ll be better prepared for your weasel of a manager Ruth
Heartless. The music changes and out
comes ‘The Morningstar’ accompanied by his manager the Ambassador. Tommy is all no-nonsense for this match and
gets right into the ring and gets the match underway.

In a shocking
short match, Duke gets the quick win over Tommy Sullivan. Sullivan is pissed and attacks Duke after the
match. He hits Duke with a Death Valley
Driver and follows it up with the Shinning Wizard and the Necromancer’s Delight
Half Nelson choke hold. He refuses to
let go even after half a dozen refs hit the ring and try to pull him off. Finally, Tommy releases him and Duke appears
to be spitting up blood. The refs call
for medics to get out there. Tommy leans
in and tells Duke “That is what happens when you’re not focused on the task at
hand”. Tommy then leaves with his
manager to massive booing from the crowd.
Medics help Duke to the back.
Match #4: Korbi
Kong & Goldie Locks vs The Cummings Twins
Betsy and Felicia
come out first to massive booing from the fans.
The mock the fans and make their way to the ring. They climb the turnbuckles and continue to
mock the fans until the music changed and out comes Korbi Kong and Goldie
Locks. The booing turns into the loudest
pop of the night as the fan favorites make their way out. They keep an eye on the underhanded twins and
make their way around the ring high fiving with the fans. They get into the ring and the match begins
almost immediately. The match was a lot
closer than anyone could have expected with the Twins pulling their shenanigans
throughout the match. We join the action
at the 13 minute mark.

title match: Jax Brenner vs Azrael
Azrael comes out
first with his manager the Ambassador and the fans boo them. They mostly ignore them and make their way to
the ring. The music changed fairly
quickly and the Hardcore Champion ‘The Alaskan Wildman’ Jax Brenner and his
manager Molly Mason make their way out.
The fans give the big man a solid pop.
He makes his way to the ring but is stopped by the ref. The ref gets on the mic and says that both
the Ambassador and Molly are banned from ringside for this match. Jax is not happy about this but agrees. The ref calls for the match to begin.
