Colorado Springs Show
Hello fans and welcome to our Colorado Springs show. We are here LIVE in front of a sold-out
crowd. The place is exploding from the
rafters and the noise is deafening. The
show begins with Bodacious Brian and Marvelous Marc making their way to their
station. They stop by Superfan Derek and
shake hands with him.
Brian: Hello everyone.
We hope you had a Wonderful Christmas.
Marc: Thanks for joining us today. We have a fantastic show planned and know
that it will exceed everyone’s expectations.
Brian: I’m getting word through the headset that there is a
backstage segment that needs to be shown.
The Omegatron comes on and it shows a scene from Humble
where X-Division Champion Tyson Kidd is going off on how lousy the competition
is in the HWF. Master Bull walks up to
him and says “Really, you think the competition is that bad here?” Tyson comments “Dude, I could walk up and
beat any of your so-called champions.
Hell, I could walk all over that guy over there.” He points to Professor Cobra. Master Bull replies “If you think you can
defeat anyone then guess what, you just signed up to wrestle again. You will defend your title against Professor
Cobra in Colorado Springs.” “Sure,
whatever” Tyson remarked. “I can defeat
anyone. Once I beat him though, I want a
shot at the World Champion.” “I tell you
what” Master Bull interjected “I will offer the World title shot to whomever
wins the match. If Cobra wins, he receives
the World title shot.” “Don’t you worry,
he won’t” Kidd said just before walking off.
Marc: So it looks like we have ourselves another match added
to today’s card.
Brian: You got that
right buddy. Tyson Kidd defending his
title again and this time, it’s against the Professor.
Marc: Professor Cobra has an opportunity to shine and he
really needs to pull out all the stops.
Also, as a reminder, the rule is still in place that if a champion loses
his or her belt, there is no rematch.
Brian: Word, my friend,
Word!
The pyro goes off as the Colorado Springs show kicks
off. For our first match, Professor
Cobra comes out makes his way to the ring.
He is then followed by the X-Division Champion Tyson Kidd. The match goes a full 20 minutes and neither
man got much in the way of a lead. They
stayed pretty even throughout the match.
It wasn’t until the end that Cobra took the lead. He nails a cobra clutch bulldog right on the
turnbuckle. Kidd bounces off and Cobra
then hits a double knee cobra facebuster.
He rolls up the champion and the ref counts 1…2….3. Professor Cobra has just won the HWF
X-Division Title. Balloons and streamers
fall from the rafters. He celebrates in
the ring as the ring crew come out and clean up the mat.
Marc: Well, the Professor
did it. He defeated Tyson Kidd to become
the new X-Division Champion.
Brian: And that also
earns him a World title match. The
question that remains is who he will fight.
Will it be Mark Henry or the Undertaker?
Marc: We will know
for sure later on. But for now, he can
rejoice in the fact that he won a title.
Brian: I’m hearing
that Master Bull has an announcement to make.
Master Bull comes on the Omegatron. “Congratulations are in order for our new
X-Division Champion Professor Cobra. For
winning your match, you will gain a shot at the World Heavyweight
Champion. With great power comes great
responsibility so this match against the world champion will be for BOTH belts
with the winner taking both. It is
possible that you could have it all but you could also end up with
nothing. This match will take place
after the PPV. Now, back to the action.”
Marc: DAMN, what a
huge announcement. Professor Cobra won’t
have any time to rest on his laurels as he needs to be at 100% when he finally
gets the big break.
Brian. Couldn’t
happen to a nicer guy.
The second match of the night starts off with CM Punk
heading to the ring. He is then followed
by Internet Media Champion Bobby Roode. As
Punk is getting checked out, Roode removes one of the turnbuckles. As soon as the bell rings, Punk charges Roode
and Bobby bounces Punk’s face off the exposed turnbuckle. Punk collapses and Roode swaggers over to
make the lazy cover. The ref counts
1..2…NO, Punk kicks out. He’s bleeding
and he’s pissed. He beats Roode pillar
to post for the next 5 minutes and finally finishes him off with the Shining
Wizard. CM Punk is the NEW Internet
Media Champion.
Marc: CM Punk! CM
Punk! CM Punk
Brian: You know, Punk was the better man here but
without a rematch, how do we know he’ll be the better champ? Roode screwed himself in this match but I
really think there’s more to Bobby Roode than we’ve seen.
Marc: Hey, what matters is who’s hand is raised at the end
of the match. It’s all about the win,
baby.
Brian: Yeah, you do have a point.
The next match on the card is for the 6 man World Tag team
belts. The champs, Samoa Joe and the
Uso’s take on the Shield. The last time
these two teams met, Shield lost by CO in 2 min. This time, there is no countouts. A 60 minute time limit would be the only
thing that could prevent Shield from walking out with the titles. The match goes an outstanding 48 minutes and
no amount of preparation would have helped the Shield here. Joe and the Uso’s controlled the match from
the very beginning. After crushing
Rollins and Reigns, Ambrose eats a big boot to face from Joe. The champions retain.
Prestige Inc then make their way out to the ramp. Reid has a mic. “That was a very impressive win against an
unimpressive team. Had Prestige Inc been
in this match, guaranteed we would walk out with those belts.” Joe gets on the mic “You want another loss
from us, is that what you want? We’ve
beaten you already. Beating you again
does nothing for us.” King Damian chimes
in “We are Prestige Inc and we have already been World Tag team champions. This is no stretch for us to beat uncommoners
such as yourselves. You can save
yourselves the embarrassment and just hand those titles to us now.” Jey takes the mic “What part of ‘we’ve beaten
you already’ are you not getting?”
Magnus’s turn: “We are the top team in this sport. You seem to be afraid of us. I can understand your reluctance to get in the
ring again with us.” Jimmy jumps in “If
you are that hell-bent on us beating you again, then maybe it’s time to put the
future of Prestige Inc. on the line. If
you really want a match and WHEN you lose, Prestige Inc. disbands. What do you think of that?” Reid and Damian talk it over and the King
takes the mic “DONE. One more time,
Prestige Inc. vs Joe and the Uso’s for the 6 man titles. If we lose, we disband. WHEN we WIN, none of you can go after the 6
man belts again.” Joe agrees to speak
for his team “We accept. Oh, and by the
way, to avoid your precious wifie from getting involved, we’ll be in the
confines of a steel cage. See you next
week LOSERS.”
We cut to confusion in the back where we see somebody on the
ground out cold. We make our way over
and see that it is….Donnie B. The
witnesses all state that Negronomicon could not wait and nailed a Doom Bomb on
Donnie B on the unforgiving concrete.
Master Bull makes his way over and he’s pissed. “Negronomicon, you sunofabitch, if you cost
me my main event…” Donnie B starts to
wake up. He assures Master Bull the
match will go on as planned but now wants it in a specialized environment. He asks Master Bull to poll the fans and see
what type of match they want. Master
Bull then asks the fans here and at home to text in their vote. The choices are:

Barbwire Cage
Double Hell Deathmatch
Scaffold
I Quit Match
The results will be announced before the Donnie
B/Negronomicon match in Phoenix.
Brian: Damn the
Negronomicon! Damn him straight to Hell.
Marc: Simmer down,
simmer down. The Original Big Daddy will
bounce back. Just you wait and see.
Brian: Ok, time for the next match.
Next on the lineup is Intercontinental Champion Tensai
defending his title against Randy Orton.
The crowd kept chanting “Randall” and that pissed off the challenger as
he kept flipping off the fans which only made them chant louder. Orton decimated the champ. The fans taunting only further fueled Orton’s
fire. In 12 minutes, after choking
Tensai in the corner, he takes him out with an RKO. After getting the pin, Orton punted Tensai in
the head. Orton took his Intercontinental title and left.
Next on the card is the new European Champion Kazarian
taking on former multi-time champion King Damian Sandow. Sandow is accompanied by the man who lost the
belt to Kaz, Magnus. In 19 minutes, Kaz
beats the King with a huracanrana. After
the match, Magnus attacked Kaz and planted him with a DDT in the middle of the ring. Magnus said he wants one more shot and will
take Kaz apart piece by piece until he gets his shot.
Brian: 2 back to back
matches with Orton winning a title and Kazarian retaining his.
Marc: All the
backstage action and the extra match has eaten into our time budget. That explains why we’re moving at a quicker
pace.
Brian: It looks like
the next match is ready to take place.
The second to last match today has Bran-Don-Goh taking on
Dolph Ziggler. These two put on a solid
4 star match. There was lots of high
flying and quick action in the ring it was hard sometimes to follow it
all. The match went to a 23 minute
battle and only ended after Ziggler hits Bran-Don-Goh with a flying dropkick
from nowhere. He made the cover and got
the pin. They actually shook hands after
the match. Dolph walks out with a win.
The main event of the evening will be CSWA World Champion
Mark Henry taking on the deadman – the Undertaker.
