HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 11.4

Hello Fans, just bringing you up to date on HWF and CSWA news.  At a press conference, Master Bull made the announcement about Starcade 2013:

“I am proud to announce that the Starcade PPV will be taking place next month in Phoenix, AZ.  But that isn’t all of it.  This year, Starcade will be made into a multi-day event taking place over multiple cities.  I have made the executive decision to make this change.  This is being done so that the PPV card isn’t overflowing with too many matches.    Starcade will be a week-long event over multiple cities.  It will begin in Humble, TX where we will have our first show.  The second event will take place in Colorado Springs, CO and then will finish up in Phoenix.  This is being done to honor the history of our championships (HWF = Humble Wrestling Federation and CSWA = Colorado Springs Wrestling Alliance) as well as our home base.”  One of the members of the press asked Master Bull how the anti-bullying class went Master Bull reached behind him, grabbed a chair and hurled it at the reporter. It missed him by inches.  “Does that answer your question dumbass?”  The reporter turned and hightailed it out of the room. “Any more dumbass questions?”  The room was silent. “Back to business then.  We have tours of California, New York, Florida, Illinois and Texas planned.  The road to Starcade begins now.  That is all for now.”  Master Bull then walked off stage.

There are a couple of matches already announced for the Starcade event.  We know that Donnie B and the Negronomicon will end their feud at Starcade once and for all.  Master Bull is petitioning for the role of the referee in the match but at this time, owner Jeff Meyers is denying the request.

We also know that the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion will be crowned after the HWF and CSWA World Champions meet.

It is safe to say that each and every title will be defended during Starcade week.  It is even possible that some may be defended more than once.

Next week kicks off with the California tour.  Stay tuned for those results.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 11.3

Hi fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  The following results took place at the show held at Madison Square Garden.

Ryback vs Rey Mysterio Jr.  The stipulation here is that Ryback challenged Mysterio for his title shot.  In 12 minutes, Mysterio got the win over the monster.  With this win, Mysterio is traded to the HWF and Ryback is traded to the CSWA.  Upon winning the match, Mysterio got on the mic and issued a challenge to HWF World Champion Brock Lesnar.  Remember that Lesnar was hurt during his cage match with Cena but he refused any medical attention.  The medical examiner wanted Brock to take time off to heal but he adamantly refused.
Lesnar came down and was noticeably in pain.  He got in the ring and went right after Mysterio.

**************************************************************************************

Brock Lesnar is really hurt.  The refs come out and try to help Lesnar to the back but he collapses.  The refs call for a stretcher and they load up the big man and take him to the back.

Next on the card is Big Show and Kane taking on Mike “the Axe” Medley and Brad Maddox for the World tag team titles.   The 15 minute time limit stipulation is still on the line.  The challengers dominated the champs in in just 6 short minutes, Kane hits the Chokeslam from Hell on Medley and makes the cover for the 1-2-3 to win the titles.  Medley and Maddox do get a rematch although the 15 minute time limit no longer applies.  The next  match was even shorter than the first.  After 3 minutes of pummeling, Big Show stands on Medley’s throat and the makes the cover to get the win.  Big Show and Kane are the NEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!
Professor Cobra is up next and he wants to cash in his title shot against X-Division Champion the Miz.  The match goes 16 minutes and after planting a DDT in the middle of the ring, Miz makes the cover and gets the win.
A mini tournament was held with the winner of the match becoming the NEW 6 Man Tag team champions.  The participants are (in order of seed):
·         The Hardy’s with Kevin Steen.  The Hardy’s were supposed to be in this with Shelton Benjamin (and were actually the #1 seed) but with Benjamin losing his job, he was replaced by Kevin Steen.
·         King Mo, Mr. Wrestling 4, Ezekiel Jackson.  The third man was Professor Cobra but since he was traded to HWF, his vacancy was filled by Jackson.
·         A-Team (Antonio Cesaro, Austin Aries, Alberto Del Rio)
·         The Shield
·         Prestige Inc
·         3MB
·         Mike Bennett, Zack Ryder & R-Truth
·         Samoa Joe & the USO’s

In order of elimination:
·         The Hardy’s and Kevin Steen by Samoa Joe and the USO’s
·         Shield by Prestige Inc
·         King Mo, MW4 and Ezekiel Jackson by Mike Bennett, Zack Ryder and R-Truth
·         The A-Team by 3MB.  There was dissension within the A-team and Del Rio, after tagging himself in, got caught up in a small package by Drew McIntyre and got pinned.
·         Prestige Inc by Samoa Joe and the Uso’s
·         Bennett, Ryder and R-Truth by 3MB

The finals came down to 3MB vs Samoa Joe and the Uso’s.  In a 26 minute, hard fought battle, Jimmy Uso hits Drew McIntyre with a corner butt splash and makes the cover getting the 1-2-3.  The winners of the match and NEW 6-Man Tag team champions: Samoa Joe and the Uso’s!!!

Our second to last match is Bran-Don-Goh taking on newly crowned North American Champion El Chango for the title.  The match goes 25 minutes and is a hard fought battle but the new champion was not willing to lay down just yet.  He kept the challenger at bay and used the knowledge and expertise of Handsome G to come out ahead.  El Chango gets the win after hitting a flying spinning heel kick.

The main event of the evening has, newly acquired to the CSWA, John Cena taking on former CSWA World Champion Christian.  Cena won the title but since he was not a member of the CSWA at that time, he was stripped of the belt as well as the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship.  This match is best of 3 falls.  John Cena takes the first fall in 14 minutes after hitting a knuckle jam.  The next match only 13 minutes.  Christian went for a springboard plancha but he missed and crashed hard to the mat.  Cena picked him up and hit a devastating side suplex.  He rolled Christian up and after the ref counted 1…2….3, we have ourselves an official World Champion and his name is John Cena.

Master Bull was noticeably absent from the venue.  He was at the Anti-Bullying class he was forced to go to by Donnie B and Jeff Meyers.

That’s all for now.  Stay tuned for more.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 11.2 – OMG Hot NEWS

Hello fans, well, we got a doozy here for you that will put all of wrestling on its ear.  After doing some digging by the former CSWA Champion Christian, it was determined that John Cena was still listed as an HWF wrestler and was never moved to the CSWA for his match.  The transfer paperwork was on Master Bull’s desk but it was never approved.  So that basically means the match between Christian and John Cena is null and void.  However, the belt is NOT being given back to Christian.  There will be a best of 3 falls match between Christian and Cena (once his transfer to the CSWA is finalized) and the winner of those matches will be declared the new CSWA World Champion.

Now, the Undisputed title will NOT be at stake here.  It will be left vacant until Starcade and when the two world champions meet, the winner will walk out with the Undisputed title also.

This was the second time Master Bull made this kind of error.  Both Donnie B and Jeff Meyers were consulted on this one since the World Title and Undisputed Championship were at stake.  Donnie B was not happy that this happened but Jeff Meyers thought that another Christian vs John Cean match would be good for business.  Eventually, he convinced Donnie B of this.  Donnie B said that the next show would be taking place in Madison Square Garden and that Master Bull better make sure that this never happens again.  Master Bull then presented John Cena’s contract and the three of them made the move official.  John Cena is now part of the CSWA.  They did not want the CSWA to be top heavy so it was agreed that Randy Orton would be moving to the HWF.

More on this as it develops.  Stay Tuned.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 11.1

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter depicting the goings-on within the worlds of the HWF and CSWA.  We are hot off the heels of the Revenge PPV.  Some beefs got settled while others still continue but with new twists.

We start off with Casey Jones.  He was taken out by the team of Mick Foley, Abdullah the Butcher and the former SHIT (Saskatchewan Hardcore International title) champion Lance Storm.  Storm was Casey’s mentor for this match and Storm couldn’t let his new protégé defeat someone with the hardcore history that Mick Foley has so he turned on him.  Casey has since recovered and had this to say:

“Storm, I expected better of you.  I should have realized that someone who held such a SHITty title would in turn be a SHITty person.  I have spoken to Master Bull and he is granting me a match of my choice against you.  Also, Foley and Abdullah, I am not through with you either.  I will make Storm pay and then Abdullah, your mine and finally, Foley, we’ll settle this once and for all.”

As of this writing, Foley, Storm and Butcher could not be reached for comment.  I’m sure they will have a retort.

Brock Lesnar was injured in his cage match against John Cena.  The doctors are extremely reluctant to let Lesnar back in the ring but Brock claims he is a monster and he will not be sidelined under any circumstances.

Bran-Don-Goh cut a promo after his match with the Super Warrior.  “Warrior, I have defeated you in true SUPER fashion.  In fact, I could say that I am now SUPERerior to you in every way.  You no longer have any meaning for me so I will take this time to throw out a challenge.  El Chango, you defeated Daniel Bryan for a very coveted title – the North American Championship.  I want a shot at that title and at our next show, I will take that title from you.”

New North American Champion El Chango (w/Handsome G) heard the call out and had this to say:  “Bran-Don-Goh, you seem to me to be a worthy challenger so I will accept your challenge for my title.  Put your name on the dotted line and I’ll see you in the ring.”

Owners “The Original Big Daddy” Donnie B and Jeff “the Hawk” Meyers had a meeting with Master Bull.  They made it clear that at this time, they were not taking their properties back.  Donnie B said “The show is still yours but Jeff and I think you have been bullying certain wrestlers around.  You are the GM but you have vendettas against wrestlers which should not be happening.  I’m a perfect example of that which is why I stepped away from the management role.”  Jeff then chimed in “We think you are doing a good job and the numbers don’t lie.  Attendance at the shows have been off the charts.  Sometimes you take things a little too far like overbooking the shows just so you can send people home…no.  And this thing with “the Axe”, a simple reprimand should have sufficed but you put yourself in a tag team match as a ref and you didn’t call it down the middle.  This bullying of the wrestlers has to stop.  We want you to attend a “say no to bullying” class.  This is a requirement if you want to remain as GM.”  Master Bull finally got a chance to speak.  “I appreciate what you are saying and will attend.  Just understand that when these people think they can cross that line, I’ll be there making sure they don’t.”  Donnie B chimed back in “And that is why we want you to remain as GM.  I, though, have an ulterior motive.  I am training for a one time return to the squared circle.  StarCade, in December, I will be back in the ring to have it out for the last time against the Negronomicon.  Our war has just gone on for too damn long.  I am ready once and for all to put this one to rest.”

So, we have our first match scheduled for StarCade.  Donnie B is returning to the ring to have it out once and for all against the Negronomicon.

The returning Rey Mysterio came back in Championship fashion wrestling a title match of choice against Tornado en Fuego. Tornado and his partner El Dragon Insano lost a loser leaves town match.  They are on their way to wrestle over in Japan.  Mysterio was set to announce which title he wanted when Ryback came out.  Ryback said that he should be getting title matches, not someone who’s been on the shelf for the last 6 months.  Ryback challenged Mysterio for his title shot and Mysterio, not one to back down, accepted.  He did state though that if he defeats Ryback, Ryback will move to the CSWA and Mysterio will move to the HWF.

Prestige Inc was in the back discussing the PPV.  Sandow said that he was happy that Magnus got the win and if he could not be the champion, at least it would be kept in the family.  Magnus said that he’d do whatever it takes to make sure it never leaves the family.  Ravishing Raquel also received high praise for beating who everyone thought was the best Women’s wrestler out there Natalya Neidhart.  Raquel just said “keep them coming and I’ll keep sending them home empty handed.”  Reid was so impressed that he gave her a kiss on the cheek (awwwwwww).

We still don’t have any idea who the man in black is.  He seems to have something against Mr. Wrestling 4 as he keeps interfering in his matches.  Mr. Wrestling 4, after the PPV, had some harsh words for this mystery man.  “Man in Black…I don’t know who you are but know that you are a coward.  You are definitely no kind of man, that’s for sure.  If you were, you’d face me one on one in the ring and remove that stupid mask.  Or are you afraid?  Afraid I’ll tear you a new one?  There will be a time and a place and I’ll finally reveal your identity to the world.  It’s only a matter of time ‘friend’”.

Announcer Marvelous Marc met up with former World and Undisputed Champion Christian.  When asked about what happened at the PPV, Christian turned to the camera and said “I was on top of the world.  I was turning back the best of the best…until John Cena came along.  Cena is a great competitor and proved that by beating me not once but twice.  I guess you could say I lost my “smile”.  I need to get my head on straight and I promise you that you will see me in the World title picture again.  Cena, I look forward to our next meeting.”

That is all we have for now.  Stay tuned.
