HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 04.05

Hello fans, we start off this issue with a small complaint from “The Original Big Daddy” Donnie B.  As noted in the last issue, Donnie B, if he posted some items to eBay for Master Bull, he would be granted the next title shot.  Well, he did as was asked (and Master Bull made some good money) but Donnie B did not get his title match.  We are sitting at our venue in Chicago IL waiting for today’s show to begin.  Donnie B got here early and had a long meeting with Master Bull.  It was determined that the main event today will be Donnie B getting his World title shot against CSWA World Champion Christian.  Also on today’s program has the Rock defending the HWF World title against Brock Lesnar in a rematch from Wrestlemania.  Also on the card will be additional rematches with AJ Styles taking on Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose vs Mr. Anderson. 

 

In non title matches, Ryback has challenged John Cena for his spot in line for the US title.  The King Damian Sandow takes on Mike “the Axe” Medley for his spot.  Mr Wrestling 4 makes his in-ring debut tonight also.  We also expect to hear from “The Elitist” Reid Rothchild tonight.

 

The first match starts off with The Axe making his way to the ring followed by King Damian Sandow.  Sandow was killing Medley for the majority of the match but after 12 minutes of getting beat down, he began to “Hulk” up and then heaved Sandow from the ring and into the audience.  Sandow got counted out awarding the match to Medley but Reid and Monopoly Jr hit the ring and beat Medley down.  Mike Bennett and BJ Whitmer hit the ring and Reid and MJr took off like scalded dogs.  Master Bull came out and said at the next show, there would be a 6 man battle with Reid, Sandow and MJr taking on Medley, Bennett, and BJ.

 

AJ vs Randy part II came next.  At Wrestlemania, Randy got the cheap win after handcuffing AJ and preventing him from making it back in before the 10 count.  AJ for whatever reason, seemed disinterested in the match.  He didn’t have much of an offense so that allowed Randy to control the match.  Randy hits an RKO but AJ kicks right out.  Randy then began pummeling Styles with rapid punches until AJ stopped moving.  He made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  As Styles tried to get up, Randy punted him in the head and AJ dropped like a rock.  The refs tried to help him up but he refused it and was barely able to make it to the back on his own.

 

AJ was met in the back by Clarkus Kentus.  Clarkus asked why AJ seemed to not care and he just glared at Clarkus and wandered off.

 

Mr.Wrestling 4 was up next making his in ring debut against Jinder Mahal from 3MB.  At the 12 minute mark, Jinder got tossed out of the ring and decided enough was enough and walked out.  All of a sudden, MW3 ran down to the ring and charged at MW4.  Mr. Wrestling 4 side stepped and MW3 went sailing past and right out of the ring.  MW4 and the fans had a great laugh at this.  MW3 yelled obscenities from ringside and made his way to the back.

 

Ryback and Cena were up next.  Cena wanted to shake Ryback’s hand before the match but he refused.  Ryback actually controlled the match with Cena struggling to keep up.  About 15 minutes into the match, both men were brawling on the outside of the ring.  Ryback got thrown back into the ring and Cena followed but Ryback was out again. The ref, for whatever reason, never stopped counting so as soon as Ryback left the ring, he was immediately counted out.  He was super pissed and grabbed a chair and brought it into the ring with him.  He swung at Cena and lost the chair.  Oops.  Cena grabbed it and went to swing it at Ryback who just punched it right out of John’s hands.  Holy Crap.  The two had a brief staredown until (surprisingly) John backed down. 

 

Donnie B came out next for his world title match against Christian.  Donnie B starts off with a flying dropkick on the unsuspecting champ.  He follows it up with an eye rake but Christian stops him with an Unprettier.  Donnie b tries for a neckbreaker but Christian nails the One Man Concerto for a 1 count.  DB came back and stopped the momentum with a well placed DDT.  Christian is back up and hits a diving European uppercut and DB hits a neckbreaker for a 2 count.    Christian tosses DB out of the ring but he is back in and hits the Lights Out Brainbuster for a 2 count.  Christian nails a falling inverted DDT but DB tosses him out of the ring for a 6 count.  Christian is back in and tosses DB out of the ring for a 9 count.  Donnie B tries for a flying dropkick  but Christian gets out of the way.  Donnie B manages a Guerrero stomp but Christian stops him with the Unprettier and a 2 count.  Donnie  B hits a superplex but Christian nails a springboard plancha and follows it up by tossing DB to the outside for a 4 count.  Donnie B and Christian then take it outside of the ring for a brawl and Donnie B, watching the count, makes it back in before the ref hits the 10 count.  Christian did not.  Donnie B wins the match but not the title. 

 

Dean Ambrose and Mr. Anderson were up next.  Anderson started off like a ball of fire and then fizzled out after the 2^nd minute.  Ambrose took over and beat Anderson down like a scalded dog.  After 20 minutes of a beatdown, Ambrose gets the win after pinning Anderson.

 

The main event is a rematch from Wrestlemania with Brock Lesnar taking on the HWF champ Rock.  Master Bull made his way out and said he didn’t want this one ending in a countout or other upset so the match was made into an “I Quit” match with no time limit.  Rock began with a  Rock Bottom and then applied the Figure four while holding the ropes.  Brock did not submit.  Rock then locked in a sharpshooter but again, Brock would not tap.  After some back and forth action, Brock hit a brutalizing backbreaker but the champ wouldn’t quit.  Some more action and then Brock gets Rock in a Grizzly bearhug but again, no tap out.  Rock started to get the upper hand again and was ready to hit a rock bottom in the middle of the ring but Brock, out of nowhere, locks in a triangle choke.  Rock was stuck with no place to go.  He began to fade.  The ref raised him arm once….twice…and on the 3^rd time, it fell.  Rock is out.  Brock Lesnar gets the win and is the NEW HWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 04.04 – the fallout from Wrestlemania

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  In this issue, we recap the fallout from our successful PPV Wrestlemania. Master Bull came out and announced that the following wrestlers were now under Legend status (meaning that they will be used for PPV and feud enhancement but will not be in the title hunt):  Booker T, Hulk Hogan, Cactus Jack, Nigel McGuinnness, Taz, Jerry Lawler, William Regal, the Negronomicon and Tommy Dreamer.  Sting’s contract will be changed to a “part timer” meaning he will be eligible for title shots but will not be fully active.  Joe Jobber, Charlie Haas, and Superstar Billy Pearl were all dismissed.  RVD is in a unique situation as he is not retired but in the “real” world, he doesn’t  have a home (WWE, TNA, or ROH) so he is not allowed to wrestle in either the CSWA or HWF until he signs on somewhere.

 After the announcement, out comes Jimberg.  The Lil’ Bossman looks like he has something he wants to get off his chest so he meets Master Bull in the ring.  “You know, I had a great run.  I’m undefeated and was able to eliminate that jerkoff Joe Jobber once and for all.  Since my job is now done, I want to take this time to..”.  Jimberg was cut off by Master Bull.

 “Hang on a sec little guy.  I think I know where you are going but as the GM of both the CSWA and HWF, I can’t let that happen.  You see, I run the show; I make the rules; and most importantly, I decide when someone is done.  It is in my power right now to fire you for that abysmal performance at Wrestlemania but I won’t.  I won’t let you quit either.  So as of right now, I’m taking you off TV.   I’ll figure out something for you to do in this next chapter of your career.  You were right about one thing; your job taking out Joe Jobber is done but you are not done as far as I’m concerned.  I will come up with something for you to do that will provide enjoyment for the fans (and fill my pocket book in the process).  Now, with that said, get out of my ring as there are more announcements to be made.”

 

Jimberg, looking defeated and deflated, left the ring.  The next person out is Damian Sandow and he is carrying Jerry Lawler’s crown.  Sandow makes his way to the ring and asks for the mike.  “

 

“Thank you Master GM.  First, I am the awesome Damian Sandow.  I defeated the “fake King” Jerry Lawler.  I am the new King of the CSWA.  From this point forward, all of you maggots will refer to me as King Damian Sandow.  You will bow when I walk by.  You WILL show me the courtesy I deserve as your King and most importantly, there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.  I’ve given you maggots enough of my time.  I am through with you.”  Sandow then left the ring.

 

Master Bull took the mic back and said it was time for some matches.  He called out the first champ – newly crowned owner of the Western States Heritage title Magnus..  Magnus came down and brought a mic of his own.  “Now that I am the rightful owner of this title having dispensed of the imposter John Cena, I’m taking this time to let you all know that I am renaming this title.”  He looked to Master Bull as if for permission and with a nod, Magnus continued. “From this day forth, this title will now be known as the European Title.  I will represent this title as a honored member of the European continent and will do my people proud.”  Master Bull then announced that his opponent would be “The Elitist Reid Rothchild”.  Rothchild was escorted to the ring by his (now) valet Ravishing Raquel and “bodyguard” Mike “the Axe” Medley.   

Magnus controlled the majority of the match even though Reid got a few shots in.  At one point in the match, Reid hit a Rothchild Stunner and motioned for Medley to hold down Magnus’ leg.  He refused.  Reid hit a vicious eye rake on Magnus and as he tried to follow it up with a  Rothchild splash (stinger splash), he missed after Magnus ducked out of the corner.  Reid started hollering at Medley who shrunk away after the verbal abuse.  Magnus comes back and after hitting a devastating kick to the midsection, followed it up by some British stomps and made the cover for the 1-2-3.   As the pin was happening, Reid was motioning for Axe to get involved and break up the pin but he never got in.  After the match, Reid began verbally abusing Medley and even slapped him across the face.  Well, that right there awoke a sleeping giant.  Medley began to “Hulk” up (including the finger point) and Reid saw the writing on the wall and bailed.  Medley, with smoke coming from his ears, screamed at Reid as he and Raquel both backed away wide-eyed.  Medley eventually left the ring to the cheering of the fans.

 

Up next was The Mighty Casey defending his newly won Media title against the “Internet Champ” Zack Ryder.  Before the match began, Master Bull declared that the Media title and Ryder’s “Internet” title would be combined into one.  The match began with Ryder on fire and Casey struggling to keep up.  Ryder hit numerous double axehandle smashes while Casey resulting to trying to remove Zack’s head with a chair.  Casey looked to the audience and was in shock.  There, making his way to the ring was DUDE LOVE jiving his way to the ring.  A distracted Casey falls victim to a senton bomb and then a double axe handle smash.  Ryder makes the cover and gets the win.  Zack Ryder has become the NEW INTERNET MEDIA CHAMPION.  Dude Love then got in the ring and hit an inverted DDT on Casey.  Dude Love left the ring looking for high 5’s from the fans but they just booed him.
 

In the back, Master Bull asked Donnie B to do him a favor.  He needs some items posted on eBay and he does not have a Paypal account.  Donnie B says he will do this if Master Bull will grant him his World title shot against Christian today.  Master Bull says that if the sellable items get posted asap, he can have his shot tonight.  Donnie B got hard to work.

 

King Damian Sandow wanted to get back in the title hunt and was told that since there were 2 vacancies for the European title that he would have to wrestle one person currently on that list and if he defeated him, he would gain a shot at the belt.  The names were drawn at random and the name picked as his opponent is Santino.  The King didn’t waste any time and in only 6 minutes, got the win.  The King is now back in line for a title shot.

A vignette airs and it is our resident masked man MW3.  The room is dark. A single light bulb is swinging.   Under the light is a Steel Chair.

“Welcome to my world.  The shadows. This is where you people put me.  I was a favorite, when I was winning. You cheered me.  Wanted to shake my hand and take my picture. Kids looked up to me. 

I gave you "fans" 110%. Heart....soul....blood.  And for what?  Your adulation?  Your fandom?

But, I get hurt....lose a match.  Strain my back....lose a few more....twist my knee and lose a few more. Take a concussion from some chair shots and lose another. 

And you tuned on me. You fair weather fans. You babbling sycophants. You sheep.  You couldn't support me when I needed you, no you just move on to another stooge and cheered him. All because I lost a few matches while I was injured. 

(Sits on chair)

Now I reject you. All of you. You smelly drooling masses and your snot nosed brats you bring. You fat, lazy soft bodies who couldn't lace my boots much less than hold my jock strap.  I don't need or want you or your fandom.  Your sniveling and groveling, begging for my time.  I don't need ANY of you.

This is the MW3 Revenge Tour.  Destination pain.  Your driver....me. The passengers....any of the slack jawed jack-wagons in the back.....that's right...you o called superstars....you paper champions....day one starts now.  Victim one......follow me.

(Walks to a post where the Negronomicon is there, handcuffed to a chain bolted to the floor.)

My old friend and partner....you failure. You couldn't save your own ass....your job, and now, for your failures as my former tag partner years ago....you will feel my wrath.

(Takes steel chair and hit N upside the head, sending him to the ground.  Beats him savagely with the chair 8 times more)

Sit conscious....good.....  (Throws chair and hits N with the Oriental Spike....repeatedly, about 5 times. N howls in pain and begs for MW3 to stop)

Victim one, punished and defeated. Next.....”

(MW3 walks off camera.  The lights go dim....darkening, leaving N groaning in pain....just before it goes dark.....MW3 attacks again. With the Oriental Spike, driving it in viciously and holding it there for sometime as N screams in agony.  Finally HWF and CSWA security arrive to pull a crazed MW3 off N, who has thankfully passed out from the pain.). 

MW3 then made his way to the ring followed by a furious Master Bull.  “How dare you!  This is my show and I won’t have some loose cannon running around attacking people.  It doesn’t matter too much since I just canned Negronomicon but I’m very temped to give him a new contract just for this.”  MW3 then got into Master Bull’s face and grabbed him by the collar “Loose cannon?  I’m a loose cannon?  I’ll show you exactly what this loose cannon will do to your face.”  All of a sudden, a new masked wrestler hits the ring and delivers the MW2 kneelift to MW3 and he goes flying out of the ring.  He then took off through the crowd.

Master Bull adjusted his collar and asked for a mic.  “You dare lay your hands on me you HACK.  I should fire you right now on the spot.”  The new masked man asked for the mic. 

 

“For all of you who don’t know who I am, my name is Mr. Wrestling 4 – the one true heir to one of Wrestling’s past greats.  I am here to bring honor back to the name of Mr. Wrestling.  I do this for you, the fans, so that you can truly see what my so called predecessor has become.  He may not know who I am but he and I have a past. 

I am here because back in the day, we were brothers. We were a couple of young bucks making our way in the world working for one of the biggest corporations in the world.  His ego grew (as well as his gut) and soon, he outgrew our team.  He thought himself so superior to the rest of us that when the time came to support his team, he turned his back on us, just like he did with you, the fans.  Master Bull reached out and asked if I’d come in and do something about him.  It looks like I got here in the nick of time.  I pledge, to all of you here and around the world, that I will rid our federations of this menace and have you once again cheer the name of Mr. Wrestling.”  The fans cheered as MW4 shook the hand of Master Bull.  He is now the newest member of our wrestling family.  They left the ring together. (camera pans to the audience where MW3 is waving his fist at the newcomer)

 

“The Elitist” Reid Rothchild and his valet Ravishing Raquel make their way back down to the ring.  Raquel is carrying a bag over her shoulder.  Reid is back in the ring and gets a mic.  “You are all pond scum; corrupted and misguided.  You know, I deserve better.  I am the Elitist.  You should all be worshiping the ground I walk on but instead, you boo and hiss.”  He looks around and continues “You’ll notice that I don’t have that worthless piece of crap Medley following me around like a lost puppy dog anymore.  In fact, in the back, I think I found a new partner; someone who truly is on my level.  I introduce you to my new tag team partner…..”The King Damian Sandow”!  Sandow makes his way to the ring in his robe and crown.  They shake hands as equals.  “One could not ask for a better partner.  With the King at my side, we will be unstoppable.  We will rule the HWF and CSWA.  No one will be able to stop us.  The King has his crown and now I have a true championship that lives up to me.  Raquel, if you will.”  Ravishing Raquel then took the item out of the bag and unveiled the NEW Elitist Championship.  She held it up and showed it to the crowd. (we took a picture and it is below).  She then attached it around his waist and raised the arm of the new Elitist Champion.  Sandow joined in.  I guess we have ourselves a new team.

Master Bull comes out again mockingly applauding Reid’s announcement.  “Ok, so it appears that you want to bring in your own belt since you can’t win one on your own.  Ok, I’ll give you that.  You also want to create a new team with our King Damian Sandow.  Again, Ok.  But I have to tell you that your team is incomplete.  You need one more member to round things down.  Let me introduce you to the newest member of your team…Monopoly Jr!  Out comes the former Jimberg now all decked out in a 3 piece suit.  He makes his way to the ring where he is welcomed by Rothchild and Sandow.  He even got a hug from Ravishing Raquel. The four of them celebrated in the ring and then all left together.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 04.03: Wrestlemania is HERE: Day2

Hello fans and welcome back to Wrestlemania Day 2.  Day 1 proved to be filled with amazing unique matches, the retirement (and firing) of some performers but in my mind, the greatest thing was Master Bull first taking full control of the HWF and ousting The Wayner and then the agreement with GM Meyers to take over (for 6 months) control of the CSWA.  Master Bull was in rare form.  In fact, as soon as the pyro went off to start Day 2, Master Bull graced us with his presence:

“Welcome back to Day 2 of Wrestlemania; the greatest PPV event in all sports entertainment.  Last night, Booker T, Hulk Hogan, Cactus Jack, Nigel McGuinness, Charlie Haas, Taz, Jerry Lawler, William Regal and Joe Jobber are all done.  Some of these performers will be signed to Legends contracts which may or may not include in-ring action.  That will remain to be seen and, of course, will be my call.  You may or may not know that I am now the GM for both HWF and CSWA brands.  I’ve completely taken over the reins from ‘The Wayner’ and have a 6 month opportunity to show what I can do with the CSWA.  I know that fans of both brands will be excited to see what happens next.  All I can say is stay tuned and strap yourselves in as this will be a fun but bumpy ride.  Now, let’s get the action moving.”  Jesse Ventura was not able to return for day 2 due to prior commitments but JBL joined him instead.

With that said, Wrestlemania Day 2 begins with a battle of the monsters with Big Show taking on former tag team partner Kane.  “Slow Count” Sam is the ref on this one.  Kane begins by choking Big Show with his boot but Show hits a chokeslam and goes for the cover but only gets a 1 count.  Kane chokes him with his boot again but Show connects with the big foot to face.  Show hits a second big foot but then Kane tosses him out of the ring.  Kane then rammed him into the ringpost. Both men go for clotheslines at the same time and they both go down.  Show is up first and hits the Cutting Edge but only gets a 2 count.  Show gets tossed out of the ring but is back in at 5.  Show locks in a bearhug and Kane dumps him over the top rope.  Show gets frustrated and walks off.  He is counted out so Kane wins by count out.

Next on the card has Kurt Angle taking on Mark Henry.  Angle’s position for the IC title is on the line here.  If Henry wins, they swap places.  Angle starts off by tossing Henry out of the ring for a 6 count.  Kurt tries for a bearhug but Mark hits the Worlds Strongest Slam but Kurt is right at the ropes and grabs it.  Kurt is up an hits a boot to the face.  Kurt chokes Henry and then gets dumped to the outside of the ring.  Kurt nails a clothesline, tries for a pin but only gets 1.  Henry nails the WSS but does not make the cover.  He follows it up with a running splash but Kurt moves out of the way.  Kurt hits an Olympic leg sweep and tries to dump Henry out of the ring but Mark pulls him with.  Mark is back in at 5 and Kurt at 6.  Henry blatantly chokes Angle and Kurt hits the Angle Slam (no pin). Kurt hits a belly to belly suplex, tries for a pin but Mark kicks out at 2.  Mark hits a body avalanche and follows it up with a running splash.  Kurt hits a belly to belly suplex and a dazed Henry walks right into another Angle Slam.  Kurt makes the cover and gets the win at 20 minutes.

The first title match of the night has Big E Langston taking on Cody Rhodes for the North American title.  Cody begins with a face ripper followed by a big scoop slam and then another face ripper.  Big E goes for a shoulder block but Cody nullifies it.  Big E connects this time with the shoulder block and then is tossed out of the ring for a 7 count.  Cody hits a scoop slam and then goes to the top turnbuckle and lands his version of the bionic elbow.  He makes the cover and the ref counts 1…2…3.  Cody Rhodes wins the match and is the NEW NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION.

Next up is Dolph Ziggler taking on Sting.  Before the match began, Master Bull approached Sting and told him that his career is on the line here.  If Dolphy gets the win including by countout, Sting moves to Legend status.  Sting assured him that it would not happen.  Sting walked away and Master Bull was heard saying “We’ll see about that.”

Sting starts off by locking in a figure four leglock but Dolph makes it to the ropes.  Sting connects with a flying dropkick and Dolph does a handstand headlock and follows it up with a German suplex.  Sting hits another flying dropkick and Ziggler hits the Zig Zag but Sting rolls out of the ring.  Sting is back in Dolph hits a german suplex.  Sting locks in an abdominal stretch and Ziggler hits another Zig Zag for a 1 count.  Ziggler hits his own flying dropkick and Sting catches him in the Scorpion Death lock. Ziggler is screaming but doesn’t quit.  He makes it to the ropes and Sting has to release the hold.  Dolph tries for a jumping elbow smash but Sting nullifies it.  Dolph hits two sets of flying dropkicks and then hits the Zig Zag for the 1-2-3.  Dolph gets the win and Sting is now under Legend contract.

 The Hardy’s are up next against Negronomicon and Superstar Billy Pearl.  This match was a joke.  I’m not sure how they won the tag team titles in the first place but the Hardys, in only 4 minutes, defeated the champs to become the new World tag team champions.  Master Bull came out and immediately fired Negronomicon and Superstar Billy Pearl for “poor representation of champions”. 

Up next is the Miz taking on Daniel Bryan for the X-Division title.  Daniel starts off with a roaring elbow and Miz hits a basement dropkick.  Bryan with a  double underhook suplex is met by kicks and stomps by Miz.  Miz then hits a swinging neckbreaker.  They traded blows like this for the next 20 minutes until a well placed dropkick is followed by the Skull Crushing Finale and a 1-2-3.  Miz gets the win at the 24 minute mark and is the NEW X-DIVISION CHAMPION!

MW3 was up next challenging Mike “the Axe” Medley for his Western States title shot.  To recap, MW3 has not been having a good luck in the ring.  He’s been on a losing streak and was bound and determined to break that.  This was the shortest match of the night.  Medley starts off with a headlock and MW3 hits the MW2 kneelift.  He goes for a  pin but Medley kicks out at 1.  MW3 starts pie facing Medley screaming “come on loser, do something!”  Well, Medley did.  He hoisted MW3 up and launched him into the frickin crowd.  And not just row 1; we’re talking row 4.  Holy CRAP!  Fans started cheering for him while MW3 tried to make it back to the ring.  He failed.  Medley gets the win via countout.  MW3 storms off to the back.

The grudge match we’ve been waiting for was next with “The Original Big Daddy” Donnie B taking on “the Elitist” Reid Rothchild in a falls count anywhere street fight.  Donnie B comes out first dressed for a fight.  Reid comes out second all dressed up wearing an extravagant robe (ala Ric Flair).  He heads over first to give Ravishing Raquel a peck on the cheek.  He climbs in the ring but seems distracted by Raquel’s beauty.  Donnie B takes full advantage and throws Reid headfirst into the metal guardrail drawing blood.   Donnie B follows it up with the Guerrero stomp but Reid locks in the Figure Four Reidlock.  Donnie B then hits Reid with a steel chair twice.  He goes for a pin but Reid kicks out at 1.  Donnie B hits the Guerrero stomp and followed it up with a flying dropkick.  Reid tossed DB from the ring but there is no countout here.  DB hits a flying dropkick and follows it up with a pin attempt but Reid kicks out.  Donnie B then smacks Reid with a frying pan obtained from the audience.  More blood is flowing.  Reid somehow manages to lock in the Reidlock but can’t hold onto it.  Donnie B hits him with the frying pan again and tries for a pin but Reid kicks out.  Donnie B eye rakes him and then tries for a rollup but again Reid kicks out.  Donnie B hits they flying dropkick again and then sets Reid up for the Neckbreaker.  He makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Donnie B is the winner of the match.   Reid is left in the ring in a pool of his own blood.  Ravishing Raquel jumps the rail and goes to his aid.  Raquel helps Reid to the back.

US Champion Austin Aries is up next defending against Bobby Roode.  Roode started off strong but then quickly fizzled.  In a quick 8 minute match, Aries gets the win with a slingshot corkscrew press.  Aries retains.

Ryback vs HHH was up next.  This pairing didn’t make much sense other than 2 people needing to be on the card.  Ryback held his own but eventually the King of Kings just opened his own can of whoop ass and took down the behemoth with a Pedigree.  HHH gets the win.

Alberto Del Rio was up next against Sheamus.  Neither man had a clear advantage even though the tide went ADR’s way but he just could not get the win.  Sheamus powered out of each pin attempt with ease.  ADR got very frustrated and at that point (it was late in the match), Sheamus stopped trying for a win and just had fun with Alberto.  Finally, the 30 minute bell rang signaling the end of the match.  Alberto yelled at the ref and as soon as he turned around, Sheamus hit him with the Brogue Kick.  ADR was out.  He put a finger on him and made his own 3 count.  The fans cheered as Sheamus left through the crowd.  The ref ended up helping ADR to the back.

 The Shield represented by Reigns and Rollins were taking on the Dudleys in a TLC (tables, ladders and chairs) match.  Master Bull came out and said that the winner of this match would get the next match against the Hardy’s for the tag team titles.  It was also turned into a no time limit match.  The match went 35 minutes and saw both teams take the lead and then lose it.  Both sets of teams were taken down by ladders, went through tables and tasted the steel of chairs.  The end came after Bubba hit a 3D on Seth Rollins and the legal man Devon nailed Roman with a chair actually breaking the chair.  Devon made the cover and got the win.

Matt Morgan vs Ezekiel Jackson is up next.  Morgan beat the snot out of Jackson but kept pulling E up everytime he went for a pin. At the 16 minute mark, somehow Jackson got Morgan up in a Torture rack backbreaker and Morgan submitted.  Ezekiel Jackson gets a win.

Kevin Steen was up next taking on “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal.  Lethal begins by hitting a flying elbow smash on Steen.   Steen is then tossed from the ring but he’s back in pretty quick.  He is met by a diving double axe handle smash and a snap suplex.  Steen hits a back suplex, a “no hands” enzuigiri and a moonsault.  Lethal manages a springboard dropkick.  Steen punches Jay in the face but Jay hits the Lethal combination for a pin but only a 2 count.  Steen is up and bounces into a hip toss.  Kevin locks in a chinlock but it is reversed by Lethal and turns it into a springboard dropkick but Steen swats him away and hits a moonsault.  Jay is back up and hits a springboard dropkick.  Steen hits a somersault legdrop but Lethal tosses him from the ring.  Back in, Steen hits a superkick but Jay hits the diving double axe handle smash.  Kevin hits a Canadian face stomp and a chinlock but Jay hits the Macho Man flying elbow smash.  He makes the cover but NO, Kevin kicks out at 2.  Steen punches Jay in the face again but a hip toss takes him down.  Jay is back up and hits the Flying elbow again and with a little tug on the tights, gets the 1-2-3.

The night is starting to wind down with our 3^rd to last match.  Abyss comes out to fight Tommy Dreamer.  Dreamer is another person being told he needs to win or that is it.  16 minutes and a huge boot to the face later, Tommy Dreamer is done.  He and Abyss embraced at the end of the match.  Tommy celebrated with fans at ringside before heading back.

Our next to final event is the HWF Invitational battle Royal.  This was opened up to those HWF wrestlers with the best win/loss percentages who do not currently hold a title.  The eight wrestlers invited are Super Warrior, Big E Langston, Kurt Angle, Dolph Ziggler, Kane, Damian Sandow, Bubba Dudley and Devon Dudley. In order of elimination: Super Warrior by Devon, Dolph by Kane, Big E by Bubba, Kurt Angle by Damian Sandow, Kane by Devon, Bubba by Damian and finally Sandow by Devon Dudley.  Devon wins the match and will be granted a title shot at any title he wants.  Devon surprises everyone when he says that he wants a Tag Team title shot right now with his partner Bubba against the Hardy’s.

Master Bull comes out and says that he is all for the Dudley’s getting the title shot but they are already the #1 contenders.  He asks Devon to reconsider if he truly wants to use this for the tag title opportunity.  He says yes.  “Ok, then but it won’t be tonight.  You guys already had a huge battle with the Shield and now participated in the battle royal.  Keep the shot and use it when it is to your advantage.”  The Dudley’s agreed they’d wait.

Our final match of the night has the Rock taking on RVD for the Undisputed Championship.  Unbeknownst to anyone, RVD’s contract at TNA ran out.  Rob has not signed on anywhere yet.   Because of this, he is a man without a real home.  To wrestle in the HWF and CSWA, they must be in good standing with WWE, TNA or ROH.  If Rob loses, he will not be able to compete in the HWF/CSWA until he signs on with one of the other brands.

Rock begins by hitting a DDT but RVD nullifies it.  Rob then tosses Rock out of the ring but there is no countout in this match.  RVD hits a split leg moonsault but Rock lays the smackdown.  Rock tries to lay the smackdownagain but RVD reverses it and hits a VanDaminator and tries for a pin but Rock kicks out.  Rob hits another split leg moonsault and Rock hits 2 Belly to Belly suplexes.  Rock lays the smackdown but gets hit by the Van Daminator and only 1 count.    RVD goes for another Van Daminator but Rock reverses it and hits the Rock Bottom.  1….2…..3 and we have a NEW UNDISPUTED HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION.  OMG.  Rock celebrates in the ring while RVD leaves.  Rob will come back to the HWF if and when he signs on with WWE/TNA/ROH.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 04.02: Wrestlemania is HERE: Day1

Larry Morton: “Hello fans and welcome to our permier event called Wrestlemania.  I am Larry Morton and am joined by my partner in crime Clarkus Kentus.  We will be bringing you all the action as it transpires.” 

Clarkus Kentus: “Thanks Larry, Clarkus here and the place is just electric with excitement.  Look, there goes Jim Ross and Jesse Ventura down to do commenting for the online broadcast.  Also coming down is the fan known as Ravishing Raquel.  She is being escorted to her seat by two other legends – Rowdy Roddy Piper and Jimmy Superfly Snuka.  After getting Raquel settled in, Piper and Snuka had a little shoving match where Piper pulled out a plastic coconut and threw it at Snuka.  They laughed over it, embraced and then went to the back.” 
Larry Morton: “It’s great to see Legends still eligible to contribute to the sport.  Those two have given us lots of great matches in the past.  We have great performers on the roster today and we are sure many of them will be future Hall of Famers.”

Master Bull has also gone on record stating that he reserves the right to cancel, restart or change the match at any time during the event.

We immediately cut to the back where we see Mr. Meyers and Master Bull having a conversation.  We look around and do not see Wayne Tuttle anywhere.  All of a sudden, a cameraman catches someone trying to come in the back way through security.  The cameraman rushes over in time to see Wayne Tuttle trying to get in. “You have to let me in.  I am the General Manager of the HWF.”  “I’m sorry sir” said the guard, “but you’re not on the list.  I have a list of exceptions, see here…Jeff Meyers is CSWA GM and it says Master Bull for HWF GM.  You are not on the list so we can’t let you in.”  They Wayner took off in a huff (or maybe it was a minute and a huff)(sorry Marx brothers) and was forced to buy a ticket to the event from a scalper. 

Eventually he made his way backstage after one wrestler (Joe Jobber) vouched that he was the GM.  He approached Master Bull and asked what the heck was going on.  “Listen, you were never here.  I’m running the show.  In fact, all this paperwork you see here that YOU signed, gives me all managerial rights to everything that is related to the HWF.  So, since I am in charge, I’ll ask you to politely leave and go enjoy the show.”  Wayne looked to Jeff who just shrugged and then left. 

Jeff told Master Bull that he liked the way that was all handled and they finalized the paperwork that would give Master Bull GM ownership for 6 months of CSWA.  They shook on it and said that the show needs to get underway so it was time to get things started.

Pyro then goes off and the show has now officially begun.  As a reminder, there will be a few wrestlers who will have their careers on the line.  If they do not win, those all at risk include Booker T, Hulk Hogan, Cactus Jack, Nigel McGuinness, Taz, William Regal, Negronomicon and Superstar Billy Pearl.

Our first match of the night is led off by Booker T taking on Samoa Joe.  Joe starts with a running clothesline but Booker hits the Spinarooni. Book follows it up with a spinning smash but Joe locks in the rear naked choke for a submission attempt but Booker gets out.  Joe hits another running clothesline and Booker comes back with a dropkick.  Joe went for a running knee smash but Booker moved out of the way.  Both traded the same moves over and over without one getting the lead over the other.  The tide turned when Joe nailed Booker T with a running knee smash.  He went for the pin but Booker kicked out at 2.  Both men then collided and fell out of the ring.  Booker made it back in at 2 but it took a bit longer for Samoa Joe to get back in.  Booker went to the top and launched for a flying headbutt but Joe rolled out of the way.  Joe connected with a second running knee smash and Booker was out.  Joe made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Samoa Joe gets the win and Booker T is now finished with active competition.  Both men shook hands as Booker got an ovation from the crowd as he left.

The second match was Hernandez taking on Jack Swagger.  This one was much shorter than the last as it went 9 minutes.  Jack Swagger had the lead for the majority of the match until he decided to showboat.  Hernandez then connected with a choke overhead suplex and a quick rollup for the win.  Swagger was not happy as Hernandez continued to taunt him as he headed towards the back.

 

Our first World title match was up with CM Punk taking on Christian for the CSWA World title.  This was an interesting match as Christian controlled the tempo but CM Punk didn’t fight back like we thought he would.  Christian started right off with a spinning backbreaker and a pin attempt but Punk kicked right out.  Christian then hit a falling DDT but got caught by the Punk-handle piledriver.  Punk then got in his face and just stared at him.  Punk tossed Christian to the outside but as soon as he was back in the ring, he hit a one man concerto for a 2 count.  Punk hits another Punk-handle piledriver and then tosses Christian out of the ring for a  6 count.  Punk hits an inverted frankensteiner but gets tossed out of the ring for his effort.  Punk goes for an inverted facelock neckbreaker but Christian reverses it and nails a dropkick for a 2 count.   Christian hits a flapjack but then gets tossed out of the ring (again).  Punk immediately locks in the Anaconda Vice but the champ won’t submit.  Christian goes for a  springboard plancha but Punk catches him and dumps him to the outside of the ring.  Christian looks to be hurt as he’s slow in getting up.  The ref hits 10 and declares Punk the winner of the match but does not award him the title. 

 

Next in the lineup is Chris Jericho taking on Antonio Cesaro.  Even though this match didn’t have much on the line, Master Bull decided that Jericho’s world title shot should be on the line.  This was a short 6 minute match that only saw Cesaro get in one offensive move.  After getting beat from pillar to post, Cesaro, after getting dumped to the outside, decided he’d had enough and walked out.  Jericho gets the win via countout and retains his spot.

 

The HWF title is on the line next with the Rock taking on Brock Lesnar.  Master Bull came out and said that he did not want another champion winning via countout (at least here, at Wrestlemania) so he added the stipulation that this would be a no-countout match.   This 9 minute battle saw the People’s Champ stand up to the monster. 

Rock started off with a  DDT that didn’t seem to faze Lesnar.  Brock came back with a  huge powerslam.  Rock hit another DDT and then the Rock Bottom.  He then went for a spinebuster but Lesnar just threw him off.  Rock hits a DDT and Lesnar hits the F-5 but didn’t go for a pin.  Rock looks to be hurt.  Lesnar picks him up but Rock was faking and hits a Belly to belly suplex.  Lesnar hits a Press Slam and goes for the pin but Rock kicks out at 1. A  huge power clothesline from the challenger is met with a spinebuster from Rock.  Rock then Laid the Smack down and went for a pin.  The ref counted 1…2…3.  Rock gets the win and retains the HWF World title.  Lesnar goes on a tear and dumps the Rock on the outside of the ring.  Rock tried to get back in but the officials held him back.  I doubt this is the last we’ll see from these two.

 

Out next was James Storm defending the IC title against Hulk Hogan.  Master Bull came out and said that this would be Hogan’s only shot….and he had to get it done in 10 minutes.  He also stated that he wanted a special guest ref for this match and said he’d pull a name out of a bag.  It was none other than Jimberg.  Jimberg came down and the bell rang. Hogan owned Storm.  That is all we can really say.  Hogan was beating on the Cowboy from pillar to post and even tossed him out of the ring.  Storm wanted to take off but Hogan chased him down and brought him back in just before the 10 count.  Using that as a distraction, Storm hits the Death Sentence on Hogan and with his feet on the ropes, got the 1-2-3 (maybe a tad fast)  just before the bell rang to signal the end of the match.  James Storm gets the win and retains the IC title.  Hogan is done with active competition.  Storm took off while Hulk shook some fans’ hands and then at the top of the ramp, did his signature poses and left.

 

In the back, the Mighty Casey was getting ready for his match.  He had “Barby” safe at his side.  It was intended for this match to take place within the confines of a barb wire cage but it got scrapped at the last minute and was turned into a Lights Out match.   Casey went to the ropes and Jack caught him with a bodyslam onto (not through) a table.  Casey nails an Avalanche drop and Cactus hits him with another bodyslam onto the table.  Casey hits a second Avalanche drop and then sets Cactus up on a table.  He goes to the top rope and hits a flying elbow smash.  Both men go through the table.  HOLY SH*T! chants were deafening.  Casey crawled over to make the cover and the ref counted 1….2…..3.  The Mighty Casey wins the match in just 4 minutes and is now the NEW MEDIA CHAMPION.  Jack then attacked Casey repeatedly hitting him with Barby until the blood was flowing.  Cactus should now be done and on Legend status. 

 

In the back, Casey was pleading with GM Master Bull to keep Cactus Jack on the roster but his reply was “Sorry, but the rules are the rules and even if I didn’t make them, I don’t really care to do anything about it.”  I guess that is that.

 

Ringside was getting cleaned up and then we saw more tables, some ladders and chairs brought down.  This could only mean that the Super Warrior/Nigel McGuinness match was up next.  Nigel starts off with a Tower of London cutter and a shoulder breaker before SW hits a Super Powerslam.  SW hits a one arm chokeslam and Nigel turns around and cold cocks the ref.  For the next 5 minutes, both men traded blow sometimes countering and reversing their opponents moves.  Nigel goes for a standing suplex but SW reverses it and locks in a cobra clutch.  Nigel is tapping but there is no ref.   Finally, he gets out.  Nigel battles back and does a moonsault through a table.  SW is picked back up but manages to knock Nigel out of the ring.  As he tries to get back in. SW knocks him out again.  Nigel then hits a Guvnor’s Crumpet Pedigree and goes for a pin but SW kicks out at 2.  Warrior tosses Nigel out again twice to give himself some recovery time.  Nigel hits a Tower of London cutter but only gets a 1 count.  Nigel then charged at SW in the corner but SW got out of the way and Nigel crashed into the turnbuckles.  SW nails a super powerbomb for a near 3 count.  SW then tosses Nigel to the outside and follows him.  He then delivers a nasty headsmash into the announce table.  He drops Nigel to the floor and makes the cover.  The ref hurries over and counts 1…2…3.  Super Warrior is the winner of this bout in 30 minutes.  Nigel is now out of a job.  The fans chant “Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, hey, hey, hey, good bye” and Nigel flips off the crowd and leaves.

 

Master Bull then came out and said that this next match would see one person lose their job.  Christopher Daniels and Kaz are teaming up to take on Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas.  Daniels starts off by being tossed out of the ring by Benjamin.  All of a sudden, Haas jumps in the ring and tosses Shelton from the ring.  He then hits a piledriver on Benjamin on the floor.  Shelton can’t make it back in before the 10 count so the Worlds Greatest Tag Team loses.  Master Bull comes out and says that Haas is a coward for attacking his partner in this way. He says he gives him an option…he can fight Shelton right here, right now or he can take a hike.  Benjamin gets back into the ring with anger flowing off of him.  Hass hightails it out of there and says he’s done.  Charlie Haas is out.
 

Next on our card is the Phenominal AJ Styles taking on the Viper Randy Orton.  During this match, Randy looked less like a Viper and more like a weasel.  AJ dominated the challenger until Randy got sneaky and after lulling AJ out of the ring, he ended up handcuffing him to the post.  AJ could not get loose so the ref makes it to 10 and counts AJ out.   AJ somehow manages to break the handcuff link and then chases Randy from the ring.

 

Our next match has John Cena defending the Western States Heritage title against Magnus.  Magnus starts off with the British Stomps and Cena hits the 5 knuckle shuffle.  He goes for a pin but Magnus kicks out.  Cena hits a knuckle jam and Magnus hits John with a sharp blow to the back. John doubles over and Magnus locks him in a sharpshooter.  John, in excruciating agony, taps.  OMG!  Magnus has just won the Western States Title. 

 

Next up was the team of Brodus Clay and Eric Young taking on Tensai and Taz.   This was an odd match as Taz kept tagging himself in.  He would refuse to tag out unless Tensai got lucky.  Each time Taz was in the ring beating down on their opponents (which was quite a bit), for some reason, he refused to go for the pin.  It was almost like he wanted to continue to torture his opponents.  Finally, the bell rang at 30 minutes and Tensai got into Taz’s face.  Taz pushed back and then EY, Brodus and Tensai teamed up to take out Taz.  Taz got dumped from the ring just as Master Bull came out and said that Taz was done. 

 

Next up was Damian Sandow challenging Jerry Lawler for his title shot.  Lawler’s in-ring career was also riding on this match.  Both men held their own for about the first 6 minutes of the match until Lawler took control with an abdominal stretch.  Sandow wouldn’t quit.  Lawler continued the barrage until Sandow came back with a spinning elbow drop.  He went for the pin but Jerry kicked out easily.  Lawler kicks Damian in the gut and then locks in the abdominal stretch. Again, Sandow didn’t quit.  Sandow came back with a swinging neckbreaker and that put an end to Lawler’s domination.  Damian hits knees to the midsection and followed it up with a Russian leg sweep.  He went for the pin but Jerry kicked out at 1. Damian hits a knee drop and goes for the pin but Jerry kicks out at 1.  Jerry tries for an armbar but it is reversed and turned into a swinging neckbreaker.  Damian goes for the pin but Jerry kicks out at 2.  Damian does the exact same thing, tries for the pin but Jerry kicks out. Damian then hits a spinning leg smash and followed it up with a Full nelson face smash and the finisher double arm neckbreaker.  He makes the cover and gets the 3.  Damian is the winner of the match.  Jerry walks over to shake his hand but gets kicked in the gut for his gesture.  Damian takes the King’s crown, puts it on his head and walks away.    

 

R-Truth and Santino were up next going against Wade Barrett and William Regal.  Barrett refused to tag out for the entire match.  Truth and Santino worked over Barrett while Regal looked on.  In the end, Santino got the win over Barrett with a Leg-Feed Enzuigiri.  After the match, Barrett confronted Regal for not coming in for the save and got pummeled.   Barrett took Regal out of the ring and threw him into the ring post.   He then laid Regal’s arm on the steel steps and with the swing of a chair, dislocated Regal’s arm.  Barrett left with his arms raised while Regal was helped to the back.  After getting checked out by the doctors, it was determined he had a nasty concussion from kissing the ringpost and with his dislocated arm, his in-ring career was over.  Master Bull came over and said that Regal was done.

 

Our third to last match of the night has Mr. Ken Anderson taking on Dean Ambrose.  This one saw the third member of the Shield taking on Misssssttteeeeerrrrrrrr…it didn’t finish due to Ambrose attacking him before the bell.  The two of them brawled down to the ring and proceeded to have a duel.  Both men took the lead throughout the match but no one really got a solid lead over the other.  This led to lots of false finishes (4 pin attempts by Ambrose compared to 2 by Anderson).  This ended up going to the time limit and it still took 2 minutes for officials to finally separate the two.  I’d expect a rematch to be in their future.

 

In the first of two main events tonight, CSWA World Champion Christian took on HWF Champion the Rock for the right to go on to meet RVD for the Undisputed title tomorrow night.  Master Bull made this a no time limit/no DQ match; there must be a true winner.  Christian began with a European uppercut and Rock tossed him out of the ring.  Christian hits an inverted facelock backbreaker and Rock hits a spinebuster.  Christian hits a falling inverted DDT and Rock pops up and hits a DDT of his own.  Christian with an inverted backbreaker then Rock breaks out the Smackdown and lays it on Christian. Rock hits a Belly to Belly suplex and Christian connects with a tornado DDT.  Rock is up and nails his own DDT.  Christian hits a springboard plancha and when he tries for a second one, he hops right into a spinebuster.  Christian goes for the Unprettier but Rock escapes.  Christian hits a dropkick but Rock connects with the Rock Bottom.  He goes for the pin but only gets a 2 count.  Christian goes for another springboard plancha but Rock gets out of the way.  Christian goes for another inverted DDT but Rocky neutralizes it.  Christian hits a European uppercut but Rock gets him in the Sharpshooter.  Christian does not submit as he is able to make it to the ropes.  Christian does the uppercut again and Rock locks in the Sharpshooter again.  Christian again makes it to the ropes.  Christian hits the Unprettier but is only able to get a 1 count.  Christian hits another Unprettier and follows it up with a springboard plancha.  Rock goes to lay the smackdown but Christian nullifies it..  Rock hits a spinebuster but Christian manages to hit the one man concerto.  He makes the cover but Rock kicks out at 2.  Rock lays the smackdown on Christian twice and followed it up with a  spinebuster but Christian hits the Unprettier for a one count.   Christian hits a springboard plancha and tries for a pin but Rock kicks out at 2.  Christian is frustrated right now and he goes and kicks the ropes.  He turns around and Rock hits a Rock Bottom.  He makes the cover and the 1..2…3 follows.  Rock is the winner and will go on tomorrow to meet RVD for the Undisputed title.  What a match!

 

Our final match of the night has a slight delay as the ring crew set up a scaffold around the ring.   As we get ready for our final match, Jimberg is in the back looking more focused than ever.  This last time, Joe Jobber insulted Jimberg’s hygiene.  The Lil’ Bossman has finally had enough.  This would be settled once and for all.  He would see to it.  Out comes the ref but it’s someone new.  It is “Slow Count” Sam.  Oh great.  I hope this doesn’t really affect the outcome.  Joe is out first followed by Jimberg.  Action is in the ring as Jobber hits a back bodydrop on Jimberg.  He then follows it up with a forearm smash.  Jimberg freaks out and chases Jobber up the scaffold.  While up there, Joe kicks him in the gut but Jimberg nails a sky high suplex on the scaffold.  Jimberg then hits the Jimhammer on Joe.  Jimberg hits a second Jimhammer and goes for a pin but Slow count sam (who is down below) is having a hard time seeing up there so he only counts to 1. They make their way down.  Joe tries for a back bodydrop but Jimberg nullifies it.  Jimberg hits a huge powerslam and goes for a pin but Joe kicks out at 2.  Both men go back up and Jimberg trips Joe.  Jimberg then dangles Joe from the scaffold only holding his feet but Joe doesn’t give up.  He makes it to the side supports and crawls back down.  Jimberg then locks in the most devastating headlock ever.  Joe submits.  But the match is not over.  Now, we must go back up the scaffold.  Both men climb back.  Jimberg then slams Joe’s head into the scaffold.  He rubs Joe’s face across the platform blinding Joe.  Jimberg then grabs ahold of Joe and launches him off the scaffold.  Joe’s costume actually grew wings out from under his arms.  He glided to the bottom and landed, for the most part, unscathed.  He laughed at Jimberg as he tried to leave.  All of a sudden, out comes Donnie B, MW3, SW, Mighty Casey and Master Bull.  They prevented Joe from leaving.  They all charged the ring (except for Master Bull) and tore the “wings” out from his costume.  They then chased him back up the scaffold into the waiting arms of Jimberg.  Jimberg then hit a piledriver on Joe.  He pushed him over the edge and Joe tumbled to the ring.  He landed awkwardly.  The gang then covered him in tar and feathers and Jimberg, who had made is way down, kicked Joe out of the ring.  The gang congratulated Jimberg on his win.  I think we may have finally seen the last of Joe Jobber.

Hello fans and welcome back to our first April newsletter.  In this issue we will recap the events that took place at the Fanfest that led up to Wrestlemania.  The fanfest was a 3 day show with panels, meet and greets and the like.  Day 1 of the event had appearances from Legends such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ricky “the Dragon” Steamboat, Terry Funk, and the Ultimate Warrior. 

There was a panel that had both Super Warrior and Ultimate Warrior on it.  This was the only panel that there was a charge for as UW felt that what he had to say was worth money to people so if they wanted to hear it from him, they’d have to pay (I think Master Bull set that up). 

Day 2 of the event had the HWF superstars and people were packed in like sardines.  It was a tremendous success.  Every superstar (even Master Bull and the Super Warrior) stuck around until all fans got their autographs.  There was a young man who came to the show and met up with Master Bull.  The two of them had a pretty long conversation.  We’re not sure who this guy is (yet), but I’m sure we will find out soon.

Day 3 and the CSWA superstars were another story – specifically (yep, you guessed it) The Elitist Reid Rothchild.  This guy is such a jerk.  He was charging $200 for an autograph (double that what the Ultimate Warrior was charging) and he said that his signature is worth gold and if people didn’t want to pay it, they didn’t deserve it.  In fact, the only person we saw at his table was our PPV name contest winner known as Ravishing Raquel.  She stayed at his table and the two of them made googily eyes at each other.

Donnie B and Jeff Meyers were on a panel discussing the history of the HWF and CSWA (this one was sold out) and they told some great stories.  Meyers even recapped the history between MW3 and the Undertaker.  It got a lot of good laughs.  Donnie B told the fans about some behind the scenes gossip about the Negronomicon that got people “oohing and ahhhing”.    (Donnie B also told a story about when he (in “real” life) went to Houston for a wrestling show and while there, went to a book signing being done by HHH.  When it was his turn, he mentioned to Hunter that he came in to town for the event and for the signing.  HHH then stood up and shook his hand thanking him for coming in.  Not such a bad cat after all.)

All in all, the show was a huge success.  With the exception of Reid Rothchild, everyone had fun and enjoyed themselves (we’re sure Reid had some fun too).

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 03.09 – We’re almost there:

Welcome back to our world of professional wrestling.  Wrestlemania is just around the corner and we know it will be a blast.  Just to give you an update, the Wrestlemania (weekend) newsletter will be in 3 parts.  The first will cover the fan fest; the second will cover the details of Day 1 and the third will cover the final day of the PPV.  We are happy to say that Wrestlemania, being held in sunny San Diego, CA, is completely sold out.  The influx of revenue we got from the fan fest pre-sell tickets (also sold out) helps to ensure that this years’ Wrestlemania will (hopefully) be the best ever.  We are also proud to announce that Jim Ross and Jesse Ventura have agreed to lead the announce team for the online broadcast. 
 

We have also decided that, after careful deliberation, to go with the name “Apocalypse” as the PPV name that will replace Wrestlemania starting next year.  Congratulations go to “Ravishing Raquel” for the winning submission.  She will have a ringside seat at Wrestlemania as well as an all access pass to the Fan Fest.  To some degree, we still like Negronomicon’s suggestion about giving the finger to “the man” but we surely do not want to risk any (more) lawsuits.

 

Wrapping up things in the back were Master Bull and theWayner (making another rare appearance).  They were discussing the HWF portion of the card.  Wayner seems to think they they will have the show stealer and look forward to keeping the Undisputed title under the HWF banner.  RVD may be the current Undisputed champion but he has be lax in just getting in the ring.  Just for the heck of it, they decided that Rob needed to get in the ring and dust off some ring rust.  They didn’t want to chance him getting hurt but didn’t want to give him a walk in the woods so they chose Dolph Ziggler as his opponent.  Dolph’s championship caliber matches have gone the time limit so they made this one a no time limit fight.  They want to see if Dolph is ready for the “big time”.

Dolph did not seem ready for this fight as RVD owned him for 12 minutes.  In the end, Rob gets the win after hitting a 5 star frog splash.  After the match, Dolph got on the mic and told Master Bull that he was not mentally prepared and pleaded for another shot to show what he can do.  Master Bull thought it over and allowed for a second match to take place.  This time, Dolph was ready and RVD was not.  In less than 30 seconds, Dolph locked in a sleeperhold and put the undisputed champ to sleep.  Dolph got the submission win.  On his way to the back, the two of them shook hands as Master Bull congratulated him on his win.  Dolph said to watch for him in the World title scene because now, he is ready.

 

The fanfest and Wrestlemania will be next week so be sure to come back for what is shaping up to be a great event.  Stay tuned.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 03.08

Hello fans.  Welcome back.  Well, we have received other names for the name of the PPV that will replace Wrestlemania (there is still time to submit your suggestions) but the frontrunners are Apocalypse and (unfortunately) what Negronomicon said (give the finger to the “man” and just keep the name).  As much as we’d love to do what he thinks, we just have an issue admitting he may actually be right. 

 

Wrestlemania is just around the corner and we are stoked.  In fact, Master Bull was having a secret meeting (closed door and soundproofed – we checked) and after he emerged, he was seen shaking hands with someone – maybe a new prospect?  I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

 

Things are heating back up between Jimberg and Joe Jobber.  This time, Joe took to the internet and just blasted the lil’ bossman.  If there wasn’t a scaffold match coming up, it very well could have been grounds for a slander/defamation suit.  I’m sure Jimberg has had enough of the King of the Jobbers and looks forward to really putting him in his place (or the hospital will work too).

 

The Donnie B/Reid Rothchild feud has continued but this time, Donnie B invited the trouble on his own.   DB purposely parked in Reid’s spot and even waited for him.  Reid saw DB waiting and kept driving.  Donnie B followed him to where he parked and started brawling with RR.  Reid got back in his car and began to take off.  Donnie B was pounding on the car so Reid flipped a U and then hit Donnie B with his car.  DB went down, hurt but not seriously.  Reid then drove to his spot and used his car to push Donnie B’s out of his spot.  He parked and then proceeded to push the car (I guess he’s pretty strong) right into a ditch. 

 

Inside the building, Reid began gloating about what he did.  He then claimed he was going to challenge Cena right here and now for the Western States Title.  Master Bull came over and said that DB was tearing up the place looking for him so for the sake of his own skin, Reid was being sent home.  Reid left without further incident.

 

We had a couple of 6 man battles take place.  One of the matches featured 3MB and the other was the Shield.  In the first battle, 3MB took on BJ Whitmer, Crimson and Jay Lethal.  In a 29 minute fight, 3MB emerged victorious after McIntyre took out Crimson and the others just couldn’t make the save.

 

The next one had the Shield taking on Chris Jericho, Dolph Ziggler and Ken Anderson.  The team led by Jericho could not get on the same page.  Each man wanted to be the team lead and tried to hog the glory for themselves.  Their stupidity was their undoing as the Shield made quick work and Anderson got pinned. Neither Jericho or Dolph wanted to come in for the save. 

 

After the match, Jericho was attacked by Antonio Cesaro and they brawled to the back.  Dolph took off on his own.  The Shield (Reigns and Rollins) got out of the ring to let Ambrose continue the beatdown on Anderson.  Mr. Meyers made an appearance and said that since neither Anderson or Ambrose were scheduled to wrestle at WM, they would be added to the card.

 

CM Punk came out and cut a promo on Christian saying how he was going to beat the champ; defeat the CSWA champ and then go on to take the Undisputed title from RVD.  Christian came out and they had some words and a bit of brawling but separated before things got too heated.
