HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2018 #701 – Phoenix Heat

Hello fans and welcome to another installment of HCW’s Phoenix Heat.

The show begins with Master Bull coming out to booing from the crowd.  He gets into the ring.  The booing gets louder.  He tries to talk over them but is not successful.  “Listen, you all would have done the same thing.  I had to ensure I had a job in order to provide for me and mine.  You can’t fault a guy for looking out for his family can you?”  The booing intensified.  “Listen, I’m out here for one reason and that is for an announcement.  Cushman Armitage and Emmett Millbarge have given me permission to announce that I will be moving to a more “hands on” role when I take over managerial duties for “Big Money” Ned Rhyerson III.”  The venom spewed by the fans was so thick that Master Bull wasn’t able to get a word in edgewise.  This all changed when the music changed and out comes the World Champion ‘the Ragin Cajun’ King Rad Gumbo.  The fans actually popped for what may be the first time ever for Gumbo (at least in recent memory).  Gumbo comes out on crutches and makes his way down to the ring.  He enters and Bull backs off and exits.  Gumbo states that after he went on to a hard fought victory, Rhyerson attacked him.  He doesn’t blame Ned as it’s what he would have done but now he’s gone and put himself on Gumbo’s radar.  Rad asks Bull if Rhyerson will be representing Cushman.  Bull nods yes.  Rad then says “Well, I guess that makes me the face for HCW and the owners.”  The fans pop.  Gumbo finishes with “the Cajun has spoken” and begins to leave.  Out of nowhere, Ned Rhyerson hits the ring and begins to beat Gumbo down.   Still not 100% from the supershow, he wasn’t able to put up much of a fight.  Rhyerson then began smashing Gumbo with his crutches bending and breaking them on Gumbo.  Rhyerson once again picks up the World title and holds it high before dropping it on the prone form of the World Champion.  Rhyerson and Bull leave.

Backstage, Taylor Bella is commenting about how the Ladies title has become a joke with it changing hands yet again.  No one has been able to hold the title consecutively since the beginning of the year when she was champion.  She says all she needs is one chance and the belt will be hers again and then the fans will have a champion they can be proud of.  The Duchess walks in interrupting Taylor.  The Duchess calls Taylor a fraud because she couldn’t hold the title.  Taylor counters with “At least I’ve held the title this year.  What have you done beside trade brands and then lose every match since then?”  The Duchess attacked her and the two brawled briefly before having it broken up by Emmett Millbarge.  Emmett said that the Duchess will put her spot on the line in a match against Taylor tonight.  If the Duchess loses, they will have to seriously contemplate her future.  He walks off and the Duchess looks a little worried.

Pyro goes off and our first match of the night kicks off.  First, making their way out are Texas Wildfire and Sonic Blade.  The fans pop for them as they make their way down to and into the ring.  Next, the Ambassador comes out and introduces Elitism (Reid and Roderick Rothchild).  The fans boo as the three make their way down to the ring.  The match started off right away with the Ambassador hitting a low blow shot on Sonic Blade.  Sonic made the hot tag to Texas Wildfire who began to clean house against Reid.  After dropping Reid with a leaping DDT, Reid rolled to his corner and tagged in Roderick.  Sonic is tagged back in and continues the assault on Roderick.  Texas Wildfire is tagged back in and he just rages like a wild fire over Roderick until the Ambassador hit him with a low blow shot.  TW staggered to the middle of the ring where Roderick caught him and executed an airplane spin.  He went for the pin, hooked the leg and got the 1-2-3.  Elitism gets the win and started to put the boots to TW but Sonic Blade was in pretty fast armed with a steel chair and chased Elitism from the ring.   Sonic helped TW to his feet and after shaking off the cobwebs, they interacted briefly with the fans (much to their delight) before heading to the back.  (10 min)

Scooter J is backstage and he’s been put into a match tonight.  SJ comments that he gets TNT at the end of the month but he’d rather not wait.  He says he wants to kick TNT’s ass but he’ll settle for taking out his frustrations on one of the imbecilic morons from the Muscles Trio.  He calls TNT a coward for hiding out on the Tacoma roster and anytime he wants to step foot in Phoenix, he’ll burn him just like the hot Arizona sun.

Our next match begins with the lights going dim.  Wilber Townsend comes out carrying his lantern and with his creepy music playing in the background, he makes his way down to the ring.  There’s just something about this guy that sets our nerves on end.  The lights come back up and with the sound of roaring jet engines screaming, out comes ‘Top Gun’ Justin Winger.  The fans pop huge for him as he makes his way down to the ring.  He tries to get the crowd psyched up but Wilber cuts him off wanting to start the match right away.  Winger held the advantage throughout the entire match but the longer it went on, the more of an impact Wilber began to make.  Suddenly, Winger’s advantage, his speed, ceased to be a factor and Wilber turned up the heat.  Winger catches Wilber with an arm drag take down but Wilber drops him with a short arm clothesline.  It seemed that Winger’s head hit the mat kind of hard.  Disoriented, he got up but before he could shake off the cobwebs, Wilber hits him with a lifting sideslam.  He goes for the pin and with a foot on the ropes for leverage, he gets the 1-2-3.  Wilber Townsend gets his arm raised in victory.  Wilber takes a mic and calls out TNT.  “Templeton, you have a match coming up with Scooter J and you have a lot riding on this match including the Townsend name.  I, as well as our kin the Huber Clan, will be at ringside to ensure you do right by the family.  We may not see eye to eye right now but fail us and the buzzards will clean your carcass.  You’d better be ready.”  (17 min for the match and 5 extra for his rant)

After that was over, the Steel Curtain (Buzz and Starbuck Steel) make their way out to a nice pop from the fans.  Once in the ring, Buzz takes a mic and thanks the fans for all of their encouragement.  Starbuck says that Rad Gumbo proved to be the better wrestler and successfully retained.  Buzz takes the mic back and says that they now can concentrate on what they do best and that is tag team action.  Before you know it, they will have gold around their waists.  They are interrupted by the Regulators who came out with their manager Ruth Heartless.  The Regulators mock them for losing what should have been a 2 on one advantage but they couldn’t even pull that off.  Mule comments “You know, if you can’t win when you have the advantage, what in the world makes you think you can win as a team?”  They laugh.  Starbuck takes the mic and says “If you want to see what we’ve got, how about getting your asses in the ring and we’ll show you what a superior team looks like.”  The Regulators tried to back out of it but after Buzz laid some serious insults at Ruth, they rushed the ring and the match began immediately.  For the first 15 minutes of the match, it was all the Steel Curtain.  After that point though (and interference from Ruth), it became all about the Regulators.  We were shocked actually at how much they owned the match.  I guess their teaming with the Banker has been helping them outside of 6 man action.  As the match neared the 30 minute mark, Ruth got involved but ended up getting taken out after Regulator Mammoth accidentally knocked her from the apron.   As we entered the final minute of the match, both Starbuck and Regulator Mule were on the top rope.  Starbuck began chopping the hell out of Mule’s chest.  Mule eye raked Starbuck just as Buzz hit the ring taking Mammoth out with a clothesline.  Mule tried to hit a DDT but Starbuck held onto the ropes until the bell rang bringing this one to a draw finish.  Ruth quickly gathered up the Regulators and they left.  Buzz and Starbuck celebrated with the fans briefly before heading to the back.  (30 min draw)

Backstage, the Muscles Trio (Thorpe, Weasley & McGuire) are playing “Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock” (reference to Big Bang Theory) and Thorpe ended up losing so he “volunteered” to go kick Scooter J’s ass tonight.  McGuire told him they’d be watching from the dressing room via closed circuit television.  Thorpe left and then Weasley commented “Closed Circuit?  What is this…the 80’s?”

Muscles Thorpe comes out first wearing his rainbow colored bull hornes and carrying his box of ‘Booty-O’s’ cereal.  He gets a nice pop from the crowd.  Next, Scooter J comes out and the fans boo him.  He flips them off uncaring of who he might offend.  He doesn’t waste any time and the match begins almost immediately.   Muscles Thorpe started off strong but then Scooter J began to battle back.  Just when he was going for the ’10 punches’, music hit and out comes TNT.  The fans pop huge for him.  As he makes his way down to the ring, he stares at SJ never taking his eyes off him.  Scooter J began yelling at TNT for coming out during his match.  He turned around and Thorpe practically runs him over with the E-Train running body block.  He makes the cover and gets the quick 1-2-3.  (6 min)  Thorpe gets the win and leaves right after the ref raised his arm.  SJ begins kicking the ropes in frustration but bails when TNT enters the ring wielding a steel chair.  TNT asks for a mic.  “Scooter J, you invite me out here but then you bail like a coward when I arrive.  I’m here right here and right now.  You want a piece of me?  I’m not going anywhere.”  SJ shakes his head in defiance and says that it be on his terms.  TNT looks to the crowd.  “Also, to my ‘family’…you say I’d better not let you down?  I don’t acknowledge you and if you even remotely think about getting involved in my match, there will be some serious hell to pay.”  TNT then leaves as the fans pop.

The Machines (B and P Machine) say that things haven’t exactly been going the way they’d hoped but tonight, they get the title shot at the tag belts and if the Desperados continue to underestimate them, they will be in for a rude awakening.

Our next match is for placement in the Ladies Top 10.  Taylor has issued a challenge to the Duchess for her spot.  If successful, she will move up in the rankings.  If not, she’ll stay put.  Music hits and Taylor makes her way down to the ring first.  The fans are not very appreciate of her.   Next, the Duchess comes out and the fans boo her.  She yells at a few of them on her way down to the ring.  The two had some jawjacking going on to start their match but as soon as it was underway, they fought tooth and nail.  They hit plenty of high spots with Taylor staying in control for the first 12 minutes but after the Duchess introduced Taylor to the steel steps, things began going her ladyship’s way.  The Duchess went for a few pin attempts but Taylor had the presence of mind to continue to kick out.  At the 19 minute mark, the Duchess eye raked (more like eye gouged) Taylor and went for a pin only for Taylor to once again kick out.  The Duchess was really frustrated at this part and began slamming her hands on the mat.  She got up and followed Taylor to the corner.  While the ref wasn’t looking, the Duchess hit Taylor with a sucker punch and then used the corner turnbuckle to put her feet on for leverage and was able to secure the 3 count before the time limit expired.  The Duchess finally gets a win here in Phoenix and she acts like she’d just run a marathon and won some huge medal.  She leaves the ring laughing at Taylor.  Taylor gets up and rubs her jaw and then she too leaves.  (19:30 min)

The Desperados are backstage and they comment on the fact that the Machines somehow are getting tonight’s title shot.  El Chango says that they’ve beaten them in a non-title match so the fact that this title shot is happening is all about backstage politics.  Leon comments that if they beat them once, they will beat them again and tells El Chango not to worry.  They’ve got each other’s backs and they will emerge victorious.

It’s time for our Main Event.  Tonight, the Tag Team titles are on the line.  First, the Machines (B & P) make their way out to a nice reaction from the crowd.  Next, the champs the Desperados come out and the fans pop huge for them.  They high five with some of the fans and make their way into the ring.  The each climb a set of turnbuckles getting the crowd psyched up for this match.  The match began and for 26 minutes, they kept the fans entertained and on the edges of their seats.  The Machines basically went toe to toe with the champs and would not let up.  Once it seemed like the Machines weren’t going to slow down, El Chango finally took them seriously.  He and Leon double teamed Machine B hitting a shooting star press from El Chango and Leon grounded him with a side headlock.   Machine B powered out and dropped El Chango with a DDT.   Machine B then hits Leon with a jackknife powerbomb.   El Chango comes back hitting Machine B with a spear.   Machine B went for a piledriver but El Chango powered out of it and jumped to the turnbuckle and hit a shooting star press.  With only seconds left, El Chango made the cover and got the 3 count just before the time limit expired.  The Desperados retain their belts in this hard fought victory.  After they had time to celebrate, they shook hands with the Machines in a mutual sign of respect.  The show then came to an end with the Desperados getting pops from the crowd.

Be sure to tune back in as things are really heating up.

The show begins outside in the garage area.  A limo pulls up and then Emmett Millbarge, Cushman Armitage and Master Bull exit.  The fans boo them loudly.  Cushman claps Bull on the back and says that he has a great future planned for his “Master GM”.  The two walk in the door and Emmett then glares around questioningly before following them in.  I wonder who or what he was looking for.

Pyro goes off kicking off our show.  ‘Red Hot’ Lucas Johnston comes out first and the fans pop huge for him.   He gets into the ring and begins to psyche up the crowd but then we hear “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE!” and out comes Dr. Red Fang and his nefarious manager Ant Graham.  Graham is like the smell from week old seafood…it just won’t go away.  The two made their way down to the ring and the fans booed the crap out of them.  Dr. Red Fang threatened to hit a few of the fans but Graham pulled him to the ring.  Fang immediately attacked Lucas beating him down for 5 minutes until Lucas began his comeback.  Lucas went for a superplex from the top rope but Graham used his cane and hit Lucas in the knee with it.  Lucas fell back into the ring.  Fang jumped down and locked in the spider web lock and after numerous attempts to reach the ropes, Lucas ended up passing out from the pain.  The ref raised and watched Lucas’ hand hit the mat three times.  The ref then awarded the match to Dr. Red Fang via submission at 7 minutes into their match.  Fang and Graham left to booing from the fans.  Lucas was eventually revived but he held his knee and appeared to be in excruciating pain.  He was helped to the back by a couple of ring attendents.

Backstage, HCW’s ‘real’ owners show up and confront Cushman and Emmett (and Bull).  Mr. B says that Cushman came “this close” to taking it all but he and Mr. M got it figured out and the takeover attempt is over.  Mr. M tells Bull that he will deal with him soon enough.  Tacoma GM Max McGillicutty joins them.  Cushman, desperate to hold on to what he has, offers the owners a solution that can be solved by a match.  He says he will pick one person to represent him and Emmett and the owners can pick one person to represent them and the winner of the match gets HCW.  Cushman tells them that if they don’t accept this, he will take the denial of his buyout to the appeals court and tie up HCW and all its assets so they cannot run shows anymore.  Mr. B and Mr. M confer with Max and it’s agreed.  The match takes place as the main event of the PPV at the end of the month.

Our next match is ready to go.  Lady Hermann makes her way out first and she is booed all the way to the ring.  Next, the music changes to an upbeat tune and out comes the newcomer Hayley Hailstone.  She gets a pretty impressive pop from the crowd and she shakes hands with the fans as she makes her way around ringside.  She even hugs a few of the kids at ringside.   She looks up to the ring and sees Lady Hermann pacing in the ring.  Hayley is wearing a shirt that reads on one side “Size Matters Not” and on the other, Behold the power of the Hailstone”.  She removes her shirt and hands it to one of the kids.  She slides into the ring and is ready for her match.

The fans pop as Hayley gets the win in her debut match.  She high-fives with the fans and makes her way to the back.

GM Max McGillicutty is backstage with the Smashers and their manager MJ.  MJ demands to know who their opponents are for tonight’s match.  Max tells them that they’ve fought them in the past but it has been awhile.  MJ asks if the original Desperados are getting back together because this current version sucks.  Just then, World Tag Team Champions El Chango and Leon Teremoto walk in.  Leon says “So this current version sucks huh?  When was the last time YOU got a pin or submission win against this sucky team?  Let me tell you.  NEVER.”  MJ says they got a countout win but El Chango chastises him.  “Do you understand what pin or submission mean?  Anyone can swing a foreign object and cause someone to get counted out but if you look at the standings, the last time we met, WE walked away victorious, not you.  If you really thing you’re the ‘shit’ around here and want another shot at us, put your careers on the line and we can see who the better team is and who truly sucks.”  El Chango and Leon walk off.  MJ and the Smashers storm off.

Our next match of the night is ready to kick off.  The Smashers and their manager MJ make their way out first to booing from the fans.   The music changes and…holy crap…no way!...out comes the Mexicali Flyers – Tornado en Fuego and El Dragon Insano.  They get a HUGE pop from the crowd and they take their time interacting with the fans before getting down to ringside.  The Smashers attack them before the bell and roll them into the ring.  The ref regains order sending Tornado and Smasher #1 to the outside but Smasher #1 is in right away for double teaming on El Dragon.   MJ got involved early and gave the advantage to his team.  At the 7 minute mark, the World Tag Team Champions the Desperados came out and went to go sit at commentary.  The Smashers and MJ both taunted them for their (safety) vantage points.  In the 9th minute of the match, all 4 men were in the ring.  Smasher #1 hits El Dragon with a knee lift, Tornado hits Smasher #1 with an Insuguri, Smasher #2 hits Tornado with a powerbomb and then El Dragon hits Smasher #2 with a dropkick that sent him out of the ring.  The Desperados rushed over and they hit Smasher #2 with a double powerbomb.  They then took off through the crowd much to the fan’s delight.  The ref, oblivious to what just went down, began the count and as soon as he reached 10, it was apparent that even with MJ trying to help, Smasher #2 was not getting back in the ring, so he got counted out.  The Mexicali Flyers get the countout win in their return match and the fans pop huge.  They leave and MJ has a fit in the ring.  Eventually, they gather up their fallen comrade and make their way to the back.

We go backstage with ‘The Singapore Sensation’ Matt Preacher and his team of Nix Anderson, Hardcore Hensen and Vanilla Zombie.  Preacher says that it’s unfortunate that Vanilla got left off this show but he promises that at the PPV, she will tear Violet Valkyrie to shreds and just like that, she’ll be gone.  Tonight, Anderson and Hensen get those dumbassess Davis Hoffmeister and Magnum Kone again in the ring.  Preacher is so confident in his team’s ability to win tonight that he tells Davis that if somehow they lose, HE will leave HCW but if Hoff and Kone lose, then they have to break up as a team.  If they are man enough, they’ll accept.  Everyone laughs except for Vanilla Zombie who just keeps staring at the camera.

We cut to a different area backstage and Davis and Magnum are cutting their own promo but they catch the tail end of Preacher’s threat.  “What do you think Magnum?  I know we wanted to do one more run at the tag belts but this could be our way of getting Preacher out of here for good.”  Magnum tilts his head in deep thought and then says “yes, we agree to the terms.  You lose, you’re out of here.  We lose – by PIN OR SUBMISSION ONLY – then we break up.  I think we want the tag titles more than you so I think we know who’s going to win.”  The two men shake hands and get ready to head to the ring.

Preacher’s Posse consisting of Hardcore Hensen and Nix Anderson make their way out first to the ring and they are booed all the way down.  Preacher points to his head that he has something in mind that will bring a win to his team.  Next, Davis ‘the Hoff’ Hoffmeister and ‘the King of Cones’ Magnum Kone make their way out huge pops from the crowd.  All four men start off in the ring brawling and Preacher got in a cheap shot early that gave the slight advantage to his team.  However, that advantage didn’t help them as any time they went for a pin or submission, Davis or Magnum would make the save.  Every time.  This frustrated Preacher and he decided to play dirty.   After the ref took a bump, Preacher slid a chair into the ring.  Hensen went to use it but Magnum kicked him in the gut and it fell to the mat.  Kone picked it up and the fans popped!  He hit Hensen across the back with a sickening thud and Hensen no-sold it.  Magnum hit him a second time and again, a no-sell.  Magnum kicked him in the gut and then hit the Popsicle (piledriver) right on top of the chair.  That did it.  Magnum made the cover but no one was there to make the count.  Davis rushed over and tried to revive the ref.  The ref crawled back over and counted 1……..2………and Hensen kicked out.  Hardcore tagged out to Nix just as Magnum tagged Davis in and the crowd got lit up as the two traded blows.  Both men then noticed that we were in the final minute of the match and things got serious.

After 30 minutes, the match is declared a draw.

The match comes to an end but this ones doesn’t seem to be over between the two teams but for now, the exhaustion levels settling in, they were content to call it a night.

Backstage, Ladies Champion El Gato Negro was complaining about having to defend her title in a fatal four way.  She sees Emmett Millbarge and asks to try and get out of the match but he said it was already set.  She then asked that if she were to retain, would this count as defending the title 3 times and Millbarge, distracted, said “yeah, sure” and walked off.  El Gato was beaming.

We cut to another area backstage and the Steel Curtain are there being interviewed.  Starbuck says they’ve put aside their differences and tonight isn’t about which of them becomes the champion as it is about getting the belt off the Cajun lummox Rad Gumbo.  Buzz says they are more united than ever and tonight is about change.  When asked if they happened to see the return of the Mexicali Flyers tonight, they said yes and that it was good to have a solid tag team back on the roster.

Our next match is for the Ladies Title.  First, Ruby Rose comes out to a nice pop from the crowd.  She is followed out by Madame Jade who also gets a nice pop.  Third is Ravishing Raquel and she is booed as she makes her way out.  Finally, the Ladies Champion El Gato Negro comes out and the fans really go sour on her.  She looks at them with sad eyes and then laughs mocking them once they started to show some compassion.  She gets in the ring and in the faces of the other 3 ladies, she holds her title high.  The ref takes the title and reminds us that in this 60 minute match, whoever is pinned is out of HCW.  As soon as the match began, Madame Jade was taken out of the ring and ended up getting put through a table taking her out of most of the match.  That brought it down to a triple threat but then Ruby Rose got injured and she too got sidelined making this a rematch between the former champion and the current one.   Madame Jade joined the fray about 8 minutes in and Ruby joined back in a few minutes later.   We join the match after everyone made it back in.

El Gato Negro SUBMITS!!!

Ravishing Raquel (f) wins with a RAVISHING CHICKENWING over El Gato Negro (f)!!!

Ravishing Raquel once again becomes the Ladies Champion and El Gato Negro is officially OUT of HCW.  The fans chant “NA, na, na, na…na, na, na, na, hey, hey, hey…goodbye.”  Raquel takes her belt and holds it high.  She then turns around to see Madame Jade and Ruby Rose standing in her way but then the lights go out and when they come back on two seconds later, Vanilla Zombie is standing in the ring with a chair and has laid out both Ruby Rose and Madame Jade.  Raquel had bailed out of the ring holding on to her title tightly.  She backed up the ring and Vanilla motioned for her to return.  She then turned around and the fans popped when Violet Valkyrie showed up and she and Vanilla began trading blows.  Violet hit a 3 consecutive haymakers and Vanilla decided she’d had enough and bailed out of the ring.  Violet went to check on Ruby and Jade and as soon as she thought they were ok, she took off after Vanilla Zombie who began running to the back with a Valkyrie hot on her tail.

We are backstage with the World Champion ‘the Ragin Cajun’ King Rad Gumbo.  Gumbo first corrects us and says that he’s the undisputed world champion after defeating Buzz Steel.  Now, tonight, he gets both Steel brothers and he’ll show why he is the top dog in this yard.  When asked about the comments made earlier from ‘Big Money’ Ned Rhyerson III, Rad responded with “Who?  Lemme tell ya something mon ami, dis guy tinks he’s big money but he’s not.  He’s counterfit.  Dis guy is nuthin but a band wagon jumper.  I’ve said it before, if ya want ta find me, you know where I am.”  Rad walks off.

It’s time for our Triple Threat Main Event for the World title.  First, Starbuck Steel comes out and the fans pop huge for him.  Next, Buzz Steel comes out and the fans give him an equal reception.  The brothers meet up in the middle of the ring and shake hands.  Just as they are working on getting the crowd psyched up, music changes and out comes King Rad Gumbo accompanied by Queen Alexandria.  The royal couple make their way down to the ring to booing from the fans but Rad doesn’t care.  He gets in the ring and takes his robe off and hands it to his Queen.  He then hands the title to the ref and then starts pulling on the top rope to stretch his muscles.  The ref rings the bell and this one is underway.  For the majority of the match, it was Rad Gumbo vs Starbuck Steel as Buzz got injured early on by Rad introducing him the hard way into the steel post.  Buzz would make a comeback and get some near pin falls.  We now join the match at the 24 min mark.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2018 #699 – Phoenix Heat

(Editor’s note:  It was referenced in the last episode that Unknown Assassin had lost the TV title when he had his showdown with Nix Anderson.  What happened was that UA did lose the title during a non-televised show but after Dykes showed the footage of what truly happened, the decision was reversed so UA is still the official champion.)

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Well, at the last show, we got a pretty substantial reveal in that GM Master Bull has turned his back on HCW, the fans and the owners and sided with billionaire Cushman Armitage and his lackey Emmett Millbarge.  It’s taken a few days to sink in and I think we’re still stunned by Bull’s lack of dedication.  The show begins with “Money, money, monaaaaaaaaaay” playing and out comes Cushman, Millbarge and the turncoat Master Bull.  Bull has a mic and tells the fans “Listen, a guy has a family to feed and a business to run so I had to do what was best for me and mine.  Many of you won’t care about my decision but I had no choice.  Max McGillicutty tried to stand up to them and where is he now?  Unemployment line.  Emmett and Cushman have put their faith in me and together, the sky’s the limit.”  The fans just kept booing him with some holding “Why Bull Why?” signs and little kids were crying. Emmett takes the mic and tells the fans to shut up.  This only got them more riled up.  “What is done is done and you’re bitching about it won’t solve anything.  Bull has smartly joined team Cushman and we will rule HCW.”  Cushman takes the mic and says that the next best thing – ‘Big Money’ Ned Rhyerson III will be on the show tonight and he will have a message of his own for one person in particular.  The booing just got so intense that Bull, Emmett and Cushman threw their arms up and left the stage.  I presume this means our show can finally get started.

After pyro goes off, our first match of the night kicks off.  First, Texas Wildfire comes out to a huge pop from the crowd.  He high-fives the fans as he makes his way down to the ring.  Once in and has gotten the crowd psyched up, the music changes and out comes the Ambassador followed by ‘the Elitist’ Reid Rothchild.  The fans boo them as they make their way down to the ring.  Reid flips off a few of the fans who were jawjacking with him.  He removed his jacket and the bell rang.  The Ambassador was exiting out of the ring (a little too slow for the ref’s liking) and yelled at him to get moving.  The Ambassador turned and (not realizing the bell actually rung) shoved the ref.  The ref immediately disqualified Reid for outside interference.  Texas Wildfire gets the DQ win without even breaking a sweat.  Master Bull comes out and the fans boo.  He says that the match won’t end like this and orders the match to be restarted.   Reid then attacks TW and throws him hard into the steel post.  TW was on the defensive but after Reid hit the ReidBottom, he made the cover, hooked the leg (and tights) and put his feet on the ropes for leverage and got the 1-2-3.  Reid gets the win in an unsavory way but he doesn’t care.  He and the Ambassador celebrate before leaving.  TW is helped up and taken to the back.  (5 min)

Back in Emmett’s office, Cushman and Emmett collectively announce that officially, every title must be defended TWICE in every month.  That now means the champions are going to have to work that much harder if they want to keep their belts.

Our next match is ready to go.  First, Fifth Column member Baron von Blood comes out and he is booed pretty heavily.  Next, Sonic Blade comes out and he gets a nice pop from the crowd.   Baron immediately attacks him putting him at an early disadvantage.  Baron used lots of illegal tactics to keep his momentum going.  Just when it seemed like Sonic was getting some momentum of his own going, Baron locked in the Gas Chamber Sleeper hold and just when Sonic was on the verge of unconsciousness, Baron turned it into a cradle and got the pin.  Baron von Blood gets the win.  He then started to put the boots to Sonic but Sonic, with the crowd backing him up, battled back and hit Baron with the Alhambra Attack (tackle) that send Von Blood flying out of the ring.  Baron backed up the ramp cursing at Sonic.  Sonic celebrated with the fans at ringside for a few moments before heading to the back.  (8 min)

We cut up to the Omegatron where a vignette is run showing different kinds of hail storms from little pieces of ice to golf ball size.  At the end, it reads “Never underestimate the damage something so small can do.”  - Coming Soon:  Hayley Hailstone.

We go back to the ring for our third match of the night.  Travis ‘Dark Storm’ Ryzing makes his way out to a mixed reaction from the crowd.  Next, ‘Big Money’ Ned Rhyerson III comes out and the fans boo the crap out of him.  He gets into the ring and calls for a mic.  He says that after he wipes the mat with this chump (point to Ryzing), he is calling out that goof of a world champion Bad Gumbo (he claims the gumbo got left out overnight and has spoiled).  The match begins and Ryzing put up a good fight and the match was pretty even throughout.  Both men tried to get a leg up over the other but both would battle back bringing things back to an even keel.  Before we knew it, we were almost at the 20 minute mark.  Rhyerson hit the Billion Dollar Dream but only got a one count.  Big Money slaps on a headlock but then gets caught by a powerslam.  Travis then locked in a power full nelson but right before it looked like Ned was going to tap out, the bell rang bringing this one to a draw finish.  The match ends with neither man getting the win.  Rhyseron was the first to leave as I think he totally underestimated his opponent and was done for the night.  (20 min draw)

Taylor Bella comes out to comment about how often the Ladies title has changed hands ever since she lost it.  She says that she will eventually get another shot and after that, the belt will stay put.  She says that since she’s out here, she might as well wrestle so she demands an opponent be sent out.  That brings out Missy Chick who comes out to mixed reaction from the crowd.  Taylor attacks her before she gets to the ring and tosses her in.  The bell then rings and this one is off.  Taylor got the early advantage but the longer the match went on, the more Missy began to take over.  10 minutes in and Missy was owning Taylor.   Taylor threw Missy into the corner and went to charge but Missy moves and Taylor went sailing between the turnbuckles and hit her shoulder against the steel post.  She tried to shake off the numbness but Missy kept the pressure on.  Missy kept inflicting damage to Taylor’s arm and when she thought the time was right, she locked in a scissored armbar.  Trapped in the center of the ring, Taylor had no choice but to tap out.  Missy gets the win via submission.  Taylor cradled her arm and rolled out of the ring and made her way to the back.  Missy followed moments later.  (14 min)

Backstage, Emmett meets with the 6 man tag team champions Regulation and informs them about the recent change of events.  He tells the Banker that since champions are now required to defend their titles twice a month, he is giving them the option to defend them tonight against the Muscles Trio or tonight can be a non-title match but they will have to defend them again in a week.  Ruth stepped up and said that her team was not expecting to defend the titles so tonight can be the non-title match and they will be ready in a week to defend them.  Emmett says “Good to hear” and walks off.  Regulation heads to the ring for their match.

As our next match begins, the Muscles Trio come out and they are wearing their rainbow colored bull horns and carrying boxes of Booty-O’s cereal.  They act all goofy as they head down to the ring.  Muscles McGuire even takes a handful of cereal and Weasley, impersonating Seymour from ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ exclaims “Feed Me” and McGuire shoves the cereal into his mouth.  The fans get a little laugh.  Their skit is cut short when Regulation, led by Ruth Heartless, make their way out.  Regulation goes right on the offensive and totally owned the match.  Ruth stayed clear of the ring as the Banker and the Regulators knew what they were doing.   Once the time hit the 20 minute mark, Ruth motioned for them to wrap things up.  Weasley went for a dropkick but Mammoth reversed it and hit a hip toss. He then tagged the Banker in.  McGuire is also tagged in.  The Banker hits a Credit Check Chop but McGuire drops him with a midnight hour diving DDT.  He goes for the pin but the Banker kicks out immediately.  The Banker hits a deposit diving DDT but he is a bit more aware of his surroundings and after rolling McGuire up, he put a foot on the ropes for leverage and got the 1-2-3.  Regulation gets the win and goes in with a positive tick in the win column.  The Muscles Trio left first and Regulation, after showboating, left soon afterwards.  (23 min)

The ring is cleared up and music hits and out comes the Steel Curtain – Buzz and Starbuck Steel.  They make their way to the ring where a table has been set up for their contract signing.  Next, Emmett Millbarge comes out and heads to the ring.  Finally, ‘the Ragin Cajun’ King Rad Gumbo and Queen Alexandria make their way out and they are booed quite loudly.  Emmett reminds everyone that if neither Buzz nor Starbuck get the pin or submission, then they are no longer eligible for a future title shot as long as Gumbo is the champion.  Buzz and Starbuck sign it immediately.  Gumbo hems and haws and takes his sweet time (he picked up the contract and began walking around the ring ‘reading’ it).  Once he was satisfied there was no quirky shenanigans going on, he signed it.  Buzz and Starbuck both got in his face and Gumbo reminded them that only one of them could win.  Would one brother do the job for the other?  Starbuck and Buzz then looked questioningly at each other and began to have a heated conversation of their own.  Gumbo looked on and laughed.  Eventually the Steel Curtain and Emmett left but right before Rad was leaving, he took the mic.  “Rhyerson, mon-ami, if you want to pick a fight with dis Cajun, you know where to find me.”  Gumbo and Queen Alexandria then left also.

It’s time now for our main event.  First, Machine B comes out to a nice pop from the crowd.  He doesn’t get much in the way of fan face time as music changes and out comes the TV champion the Unknown Assassin and his manager J C Dykes.  Dykes takes a mic and says Nix just can’t seem to get the job done and he’s even been surpassed by a masked goofball in Machine B.   UA takes the mic and tells Nix once he learns to count (to three), then maybe he’ll be given a shot at the title.  For the first few minutes, Machine B held his own and Dykes started questioning if they’d underestimated their opponent but then the Unknown Assassin turned up the heat and began to own the match.  The match did go longer than Dykes had expected but once UA slapped on a nerve pinch and Machine B was sufficiently weakened, UA went for the pin and got the three count.  The Unknown Assassin gets the win and continues his winning streak. He and Dykes then began showboating in the ring just as the show was coming to an end.  However, before the final credits could roll, Nix Anderson hits the ring and attacks UA.  The two brawl all over the ring, outside the ring, up the ramp and on the stage.  A bunch of refs came out from the back and did their best to break them up. The show ended with both men struggling against the barriers of men holding them back trying to get at each other.

Stay tuned as our Super Show is up next.
