Hello fans and
welcome back to another installment of HCW’s Phoenix Heat. We have a helluva card for you tonight that
will be capped by a main event of the Tag Team Champions Elitism w/ the
Ambassador taking on the team of Adam Jameson and Billy Robbins.

GM Master Bull
comes out to a pop from the crowd. Bull
tells us that GM Max McGillicutty broke the news last show about the Ladies
Battle Royal to determine a new “Queen” of HCW but he didn’t mention that
Phoenix alum King Wilber Townsend will be defending his crown against the
winner of the men’s battle royal. King
Wilber comes out on stage and is booed pretty heavily. Wilber states that he is the one true King
and no one comes anywhere close to him in talent. Wilber calls the fans peasants and the roster
wannabees and says that unfortunately, since the card today is full, the people
don’t get the privilege of seeing him wrestle.
Bull says that Wilber is right about one thing…today’s card is full but
Wilber is actually on the card tonight and in fact, he’s in the first match.
Bull orders King Wilber down to the ring but Wilber says royalty doesn’t go to
the ring first and demands his opponent go first. Bull relents.
The match begins
with Sonic Blade making his way down to the ring and he looks and laughs at
King Wilber as he passes by. Sonic
enters the ring and the crowd pops for him.
The music changes and King Wilber makes his way down to the ring
escorted by backstage hands dressed up as royal guards. Wilber enters the ring and immediately
attacks Sonic. These two have a history
and it looks like the two of them picked up where they left off. After hitting a low blow, Wilber removed the
turnbuckle cover and then bounced Sonic’s head off of it before hitting him
with the Go to Sleep. Wilber makes the
cover and gets the 3 count. King Wilber
gets the win and gloats. Master Bull
comes back out and says that just because Wilber thinks he’s superior (“I am”
screams Wilber), he thinks he’s above the law but Bull says “I am the
Law”. Bull says that Wilber and Sonic
Blade get to continue this in a week when the two will meet in a no-DQ
match. Wilber tries to complain but it
falls on deaf ears. Wilber storms
off. Sonic Blade follows.
“Top Gun” Justin
Winger makes his way down to the ring.
He tells Master Bull and the Phoenix audience that he wants a match
against the Banker. Just then, the
Banker with his manager Ruth Heartless, makes their way part way down the ramp.
“Justin
Winger, you still have a debt to be paid. I’m not sure how much clearer I can
make this for you. Until this debt is paid, life for you in the HCW will be
miserable. Two weeks ago, I shut your smart mouth with my briefcase. Last week
you thought you could go for the United States title, only to have me remind
you that you first need to pay your debts. Now it’s time for me to collect
those debts … in the ring.
Ruth,
while it felt good to stamp ‘DENIED’ on Top Gun’s forehead, it just wasn’t enough.
He needs to feel pain over and over again in the ring. Winger, my briefcase and
your face are becoming good friends! This week, however, is your reckoning.
Your road to any championships ends here and now. You want another shot? You
have to deal with me first! Since you refuse to pay your debts, I am left with
no choice. Justin Winger, it’s time for you to face REPOSSESSION!”
Winger
grabs the mic and tells the Banker to come down to the ring right now to settle
this but after Ruth whispered something in his ear, he shook his head and said
that he would determine the time and place and backed up the ramp never taking
his eyes off of Winger. Winger remained
in the ring as he was up next.
Angry
Jack Lawson come storming down to the ring and looks ready to take his
frustrations out on Winger. It was too
bad for Jack that Winger was actually angrier and took the match to Lawson
beating the tar out of him much to the fans’ delight. Winger kept up the pressure until at the 19
minute mark, he hits Lawson with the steamroller and then hooked the leg for
the 3 count. Winger gets the win but
it’s cut short when the Banker rushes the ring however Justin was expecting it
and used the Banker’s momentum to send him flying over the top rope. The fans popped but then Ruth Heartless got
in the ring with the Banker’s briefcase and tried to hit him with it but Winger
stopped her knocking the briefcase out of her hand. Winger grabs her hand after she tried to slap
him and he looked to the fans to see what they wanted him to do. The fans popped louder but before he could do
anything, the Banker rescued his manager and they left up the ramp cursing at
Winger. Justin ends up leaving to a pop
from the crowd. (19 min for the match /
5 for the extra segment)
Backstage, J C
Dykes and the Unknown Assassin are in their dressing room (although they are
not on today’s show). UA is posing in
front of the mirror until he stops.
Dykes walks over asking what’s wrong and he sees, reflected in the
mirror…an image of…Phat Sol! Dykes and
the Assassin turn around quickly to confront him but he’s not there. Dykes mumbles “This has GOT to stop.”
It’s time to back
to the ring for our next match. First,
Lavender Gooms comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Next, Felicia Cummings comes out with her
twin Betsy and they are booed pretty heavily.
The shrug off the disdain and make their way to the ring. The ref immediately sends Betsy away but she
produces a ticket to sit at ringside and she hops the railing and takes her
seat. The ref starts the match. Lavender took the match to Felicia and even
after a brief switcheroo with Betsy taking her sister’s place (and the
ass-beating that went with it) she quickly got out and let her sister fight her
own battle. Felicia struggled to keep up
with Lavender and as the clock started to wind down, Felicia got out of the
ring. The ref began to count as the
seconds ticked away. When the ref got to
9, the bell ended up ringing bringing this one to a time limit draw. Felicia and Betsy took off and didn’t look
back. Lavender followed shortly
thereafter. (20 min draw)
J C Dykes is
backstage carrying a bag. He runs into
Master Bull who asks “What do you have there?”
Dykes stutters “Um, nothing. None
of your bees wax.” Dykes takes off and
Bull shakes his head.
We head to the
ring for our next match. The very
annoying screech “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE” blares and out comes HCW’s
resident vampire Dr. Red Fang and his jerk of a manager Ant Graham. The fans boo them and Fang snarls and growls
at them in return. Eventually they make
it to the ring. Next, “Born in the USA”
begins to play (he better have gotten permission to do that) and out comes Dude
USA Mick Rude. Rude gets a pop as he
heads down to the ring. It doesn’t take
long for Fang to attack Rude and get this one off to a rough start. This was total annihilation. Fang (with Graham’s help) dismantled Rude and
any chance off any offensive going (he got 5 moves in…that is it). After 18 minutes of pure hell for Rude,
Graham had Fang finish him off with a Transylvania piledriver and 3 seconds
later, this one is mercifully over. Rude
gets kicked out of the ring and Fang and Graham celebrate much to the fan’s
dismay. Eventually (and thankfully) they
finally leave. (18 min)
The Unknown
Assassin and his manager J C Dykes make their way out and surprisingly it is
without security. Dykes gets on the mic
and says that management isn’t stopping Phat Sol from interfering with their
business so they took matters into their own hands. Dykes hollers that he knows Phat is out there
and should show himself. The spotlight
shines to the rafters and Phat is up there with his crow makeup on his
face. He points a menacing finger in the
direction of UA and Dykes and then uses the rope up there to begin to lower
himself from the rafters. It turns out
that the rope is actually combined with bungie cord and just as he was almost
to the ground, he shot right back up to the rafters like a rocket. He then bounces up and down and Dykes and UA
are in the ring laughing hysterically.
After mocking Phat some more, they leave and wave at him. The fans throw junk at them but they don’t
let that damper their fun. Phat ends up
making it to the rafters (eventually) and the spotlight that was tracking him
goes off and the rafters become dark.
Our next match is
ready to go with one member of the Snake Pit taking on 1/3rd of the
6 Man Tag Team Champions. Tobias Snake
comes out first to booing from the crowd.
Next, Biceps Bannerman comes out and the fans pop huge for him. He smiles as he makes his way to the
ring. Tobias tries to attack him from
behind but Biceps just shrugs him off.
Biceps just let Tobias try to beat him down but kept nullifying his
moves. Finally, after almost 12 minutes
of this, Biceps hits a huge powerslam and then locks in the Biceps Crunch and
Tobias quickly taps out. Biceps
Bannerman gets the win via submission.
The remaining members of the Snake Pit come out and start to surround
the ring like they are going to simultaneously attack but the Steel Curtain
(Buzz and Starbuck Steel) hit the ring and stand with their partner. After the standoff, the Snake Pit end up
leaving without further incident. The 6
Man Champs stand tall to huge pops from the crowd and eventually leave.
Backstage, the
World Tag Team Champions Elitism (Reid and Roderick Rothchild) and their
manager the Ambassador say they are ready to defend their titles. The Ambassador tries to praise the talent of
Adam Jameson and Billy Robbins but Roderick cuts him off saying “It doesn’t
matter how good they think they are, they are not the champs. We are.”
Reid adds in “Elitism is the ultimate power in HCW and tonight, we prove
it…Again.” The segment ends.
It’s time for our
Main Event. First, Adam Jameson and
Billy Robbins come out to a decent pop from the crowd. Next, the Ambassador comes out and is
followed by the World Tag Team Champions Elitism – “the Elitist” Reid Rothchild
and “Rowdy” Roderick Rothchild. The
champs get into the ring and hold their titles high. The fans give them a welcome reception. The bells rings and this one is off to the
races. Billy and AJ looked great in the
match and really took the fight to the champs.
The Ambassador got involved a few times but the challengers did a good
job nullifying him. As they 25 minute approached, Billy and AJ entered the ring
for double teaming action on Reid. Reid
was able to hit a Stinger Splash on AJ but Billy hit Reid with a Slingshot
smash and then AJ tossed Reid out of the ring.
The Ambassador rushed over and started to give Reid advice. However, he waited a bit too long and Reid
ended up getting counted out. Billy and
AJ get the win but they don’t win the titles on a countout. The Ambassador points to his head making it
seem like the champs were purposely counted out. Billy and AJ leave and just as the champs
entered the ring with the Ambassador, they are immediately attacked by Ant
Graham and 2 of his ghouls – Dr. Red Fang and Wolfman Keg. The Ghouls beat down on the exhausted champs
and Ant took out the Ambassador. Fang
hit Reid with a Vampire Lunge and Wolfman Keg locked Roderick in the Torture
Rack. He finally relented and the Ghouls
stood tall over the champs. Ant handed
his team the titles and they held them high as the show comes to an end.
