HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 10.08 - MILESTONE ISSUE

Welcome fans to a special installment of the HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter.  Well, it appears that looking back on how long this has been going on, I’m proud to say that this issue is a HUGE milestone as it is the 300th posted issue.  Holy Crap…that is a lot of wrestling newsletters over the years.  The first newsletter started back in 2003 before the creation of the HWF and CSWA (we were “borrowing” the names of WWF, WCW and ECW).  Fast forward 11 years and here we are.  Throughout this issue, many wrestlers have pre-recorded comments that will be shared.

The show begins in GM Hulk Hogan’s office.  Hogan calls in Donnie B and MW3.  He shows footage of the ‘other’ Mexicali Flyers and says that, in his opinion, those are the true Flyers and that Donnie B and MW3 only donned the masks to make Malo look foolish (which, actually, was pretty easy to do).  He says, based on the evidence, the titles must be surrendered and will then be provided to the rightful champions.  Donnie B says the footage was doctored and can even pointed out that that the matches weren’t even taped in front of a live audience (the audience look like cardboard cutouts).  Hogan stands his ground and takes the titles.  MW3 says he wants Malo in a match – tonight.  Hogan agrees.  Donnie B says that he and MW3 want a (re)match with the so-called “champs” but want it at Starcade.  Hogan agrees.

Centurion is interviewed.  He says that ‘Centurion’ is no more and that Master Bull is back.  Bull tells Hogan it is time for them to determine what the match will look like that will have the fate of the GM responsibility on the line.  Hogan walks over and says that later tonight, in that very ring, he and Bull will hash it out and figure out what it is they want to do.  Bull agrees and tells Hogan he will see him out there…brother.

Hogan announces that Starcade is SOLD OUT.  He immediately began negotiating for extra days.  This event may become a multi-day show.

Our first match of the night has the newcomers Bram and MVP taking on Jimmy and Jey Uso.  The match ends up going 19 minutes and came to an end after Jimmy hit Bram with a sliding chinlock.  After the match, Bram and MVP attacked the Uso’s until they battled back and chased off the two newcomers.  The Uso’s invite them back to the ring but Bram and MVP leave.

Roman Reigns is interviewed and he says that the Band will get what is coming to them.  He will start by making an example out of Psycho Jack

John Cena has a taped vignette and he congratulates the newsletter for reaching 300 issues.

We head back to the ring for our next match with Roman Reigns taking on Psycho Jack Hercules.  Roman Reigns says that the Band will get what is coming to them and he will start with Psycho Jack.  Reigns controlled the match for the first 13 minutes but then the Band came out and threw Reigns off his game.  This goes on for another 10 ½ minutes but ends after the Axe, pacing impatiently around the ring, attacked Reigns causing the DQ.  The Band jumped in but Reigns cleared house and stood tall.

Malo Leche de Mantequilla walks to an interview area and he is asked about the milestone the newsletter has reached.  “I got nuthin’ to say.  Get out of my way.”  He begins to walk off but then turns around.  “I do got somethin to say.  Donnie B and MW3, you lied, cheated and stole something that wasn’t yours and now the titles are coming back to the rightful heirs.  Stupid punk ass bitches.”  He then walks off.

Prestige Inc. members ‘the Elitist’ Reid Rothchild, King Damian Sandow and Magnus accompanied by the Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel say that they are here on a united front and they want a shot at the A-Team.  They don’t necessarily want a title shot yet but soon…very soon…they will.  They then congratulate the newsletter for reaching such a huge milestone.

The A-Team led by ‘the man’ Austin Aries say that they accept the challenge from Prestige Inc. (probably only because the titles are NOT on the line).  Aries says that this issue is even better with ‘the man’ gracing us with his presence.  Good Grief Charlie Brown.

Prestige Inc.w/ Ravishing Raquel head to the ring first followed by the A-Team.  Prestige Inc., on a united front, are a hell of a force to be reckoned with.  They schooled the champs for 27 straight minutes but couldn’t secure a pin.  At the 28 minute mark, Aries takes out Reid and Cesaro takes out Sandow leaving Magnus with Abyss.  Abyss and Magnus are fighting on the outside and Abyss nails a Blackhole Slam through a table and then rolls back in to beat the 10 count.  The A-team (barely) gets a win but maybe they’ll think twice before accepting the challenge from Prestige.  I’m sure they will all meet up again.

A vignette airs “Where in the world is the Undertaker?”  This video, expected to show weekly, takes us all over the world to places where the Undertaker could be.  This one shows us scenery from a place called “Hell” in the Grand Caymans.  It is pretty cool looking but it is relatively small.  After scanning the area and not finding the Undertaker, the segment ended.

Fusion Valentine makes her way out and says that she wants a shot at the Diva’s title.  She is interrupted by Spider Violet who says she wants a shot at the Women’s Championship.  The two argue until both the Women’s Champion AJ Lee and the Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel both come out.  They agree to a tag match…the champs vs the challengers. If one of the challengers win, whomever she pins, she will get a shot at that title.  The champs were on the same page but unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for the challengers.  Fusion and Spider bickered the entire match starting with who would begin the match and then did blind tags to try and capitalize but never worked out in their favor.  AJ ends up nailing Spider Violet with the Black Widow and gets the pin.  After the match, Spider Violet attacks Fusion Valentine and the ‘suits’ from the back had to come out and break them apart.

Hulk Hogan cuts a quick promo “The Hulkster wants to congratulate the HWF and CSWA on reaching such a milestone of 300 issues, brother.  Here is to the next batch.  Whatcha gonna do when the HWF and CSWA newsletters run wild on you?”

Dirk Devon and the Axe are in the back and they order Rocky Lapetus to get them coffee.  ‘The Pick’ is treating Rocky like a servant.  He doesn’t appreciate that.  Rocky puts something in Dirk’s coffee (we don’t get to see what it is) and then brings P&A their drinks.  Dirk and Axe remind Rocky that they are 1st class individuals and should have nothing short of 1st class airfare out to London.  Rocky is quickly whisked away after Hogan calls for a meeting to discuss the Starcade line up and getting the Visas in order.

Bran-Don-Goh shows up with his X-Division title wearing a new shirt “I won, take that bitches” (instead of ‘I just want to win’).  B congratulates the newsletter on their milestone and says that he did hear Casey’s speech but he says that it is all lip-service.  Casey cares nothing for the fans; only himself.  B says that the two of them will meet for the title at Starcade and just like at Revenge, B will keep HIS title.

Malo Leche de Mantequilla heads to the ring and then calls out the (phony) Mexicali Phlyers (notice he changed their name).  The two come lumbering down to the ring (where did he find these two?) and get in the ring.  Malo calls down GM Hulk Hogan and tells him to bring those Tag Titles with him.  Hogan comes out and then hands the titles to Malo.  Malo complains that the titles aren’t ‘shiny’ enough and berates the GM.  Hogan doesn’t take this too well and tells Malo to shut up before he says something really stupid.  Malo continues and then Hogan says he’s had enough.  Tonight’s main event will be Malo vs MW3 in a RUSSIAN CHAIN MATCH.  Malo flips out but Hogan stands in front of him and begins to pose.  Malo and his flyers leave.

Hogan then calls down Master Bull.  Bull comes out and a table was set up in the ring.  The two sit at the table and begin to hash out what they want their match to be.  After all the back and forth conversation, it is decided that Master Bull will represent himself and Hogan’s representative will be Psycho Jack Hercules.  If Jack wins, Hogan retains the GM duties but if Bull wins, he becomes the new GM and Hogan is out.

It is time for our main event with MW3 taking on Malo Leche de Mantequilla.  Malo is accompanied by the Mexicali Pflyers (phonies) and they are wearing the tag team titles.  MW3 comes out to the biggest pop of the night.  This one goes 18 minutes and saw the Pflyers get involved on more than one occasion.  Too bad it didn’t do Malo any good as MW3 took all his frustrations out on Malo.  The end came after MW3 nails the MW2 kneelift and pins Malo in the center of the ring.  After the match, the Pflyers hit the ring and attack MW3 but ‘The Original Big Daddy’ Donnie B runs out and helps to clean house.  Malo and the Pflyers are sent packing.  The show comes to an end with Donnie B and MW3 celebrating in the ring.

Thanks for reading.  Stay tuned as things will begin to heat up in November.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 10.07

Hello fans and welcome back to the next installment of our newsletter.  Today’s episode was taped in front of a live arena audience.

The first match of the night is Tyler Breeze taking on Sami Zayn.  It what was an awesome beginning to the show, these two put on a 28 minute wrestling match.  The fans popped for both men during the high spots.  In the end, Tyler catches Sami with the Implant DDT and makes the cover for the 1-2-3.

A 15 second vignette then airs that says “THEY are coming”.  It then shows pictures for both Bram (from TNA days) and MVP (from WWE days).  I’m curious to see what value they will be bringing to our shows.

We head back to the ring for tag team action with Kenta and Sanada taking on the Colons.  This one was a bit more of an ass kicking with the Colon’s being on the receiving end.  After 19 minutes of fighting, Sanada nails Epico with a moonsault and gets the pin in the middle of the ring.

A taped interview is being aired with a beat up Alexander Rusev speaking his mind about his Hell in the Cell match against Reid Rothchild.  Rusev says they beat the HELL out of each other.  He explains that his ego cost him the match and that Reid just “wanted it more”.

Next up is Ryback defending the North American title against Mark Henry.  Ryback started off like a rocket but then immediately fizzled.  3 minutes in, Henry began to “Hulk Up” and Ryback, seeing the writing on the wall, bailed out of the ring getting counted out.  Henry gets the count out win but doesn’t win the title.

Christian comes out next and is taking on the Cartel leader Rey Rey.  This was another spectacular matchup with Capt. Charisma taking it to Mysterio.  The two have a hard fought 28 minute battle and in the end, Christian nails Rey Rey with the One Man Concerto and makes the cover for the pin.

After the match, Rey says that he is done and is officially retiring. With the implosion of VamChango and the unmasking of the Mexicali Flyers, Rey says it is time to end the 719 Cartel.  Rey says he had a great run for over 25+ years and says he’s sad to go but will always have a place in his heart for the CSWA/HWF and its fans.  Rey is giving a 10 minute standing ovation (even Christian stuck around to congratulate him on his lengthy run).

In the back, there is a knock on Hogan’s office door.  In walks Malo Leche de Mantequilla (without being invited in – the jerk) and says that the Mexicali Flyers, revealed to be Donnie B and MW3, are phonies.  He brings in who he calls “The REAL Mexicali Flyers” (btw, these two look absolutely NOTHING like the ‘other Flyers) and states that these two men, under the management of himself, are the rightful champions.  He gives footage to Hogan and says he expects Hogan to strip the titles from the imposters and give the belts to his team.  Hogan says he will review the footage.

Next up is Prince Devitt taking on Professor Cobra.   Not even 30 seconds into the match, Cobra stands up and walks out.  He never turned around and just kept walking.  A camera man followed him and he still never stopped; never turned around.  He kept going until he reached the outer door and went through – never turning around.  I wonder what’s up with him….

Just before the main event begins, the (new and improved) A-Team consisting of Abyss, Antonio Cesaro and ‘The Man’ Austin Aries were being interviewed.  Aries stated that this was the true incarnation of the A-Team and that they are getting another shot at Wyatt’s Warriors.  Aries promises that if they do not walk out of here as the champions, the A-Team will disband (much to the disbelief of Cesaro and Abyss – I guess they weren’t in on it.)

The A-Team (Abyss, Austin Aries and Antonio Cesaro) make their way to the ring for their match and are followed by the champions Wyatt’s Warriors.  This is an all-or-nothing for the members of Hogan’s CWO.  Hogan comes out and says that since there is so much on the line for this match, it would be a 60 minute no Countout match.  Bray Wyatt then came out and said that if his team didn’t retain, the one person who got pinned or submitted would be tossed out of Wyatt’s Warriors.  This was another solid, hard fought match which saw double and triple teaming from both teams.  During the match, Centurion got injured.  He did come back and hold his own.  One interesting detail to note is that until the end, Centurion was the ONLY person attempting the pin.  Just as we hit the 28 minute mark, Abyss nails a suicide dive on Super Warrior and Cesaro nails a running clothesline on Warrior of Truth taking both of them flying out of the ring.  That left Centurion and ‘the Man’ Austin Aries.  Aries reversed a neckbreaker from Centurion and hit a slingshot corkscrew press.  Aries makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  The A-Team have just become the NEW 6 Man Tag Team Champions.  After the match, Bray Wyatt gets in the ring and slaps Centurion in the face and tells him he is expelled from their ranks.

The show comes to a close as Centurion is shown walking away with his head hanging low.

That is all for now.  Stay tuned for more action.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 10.06 – PPV Fallout

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Today’s issue is mostly filled with news and backstage vignettes.  Our first one comes from former X-Division Champion Casey Jones.

“Bran-Don-Goh, you are scum; you are a lowlife; you are evil but at the PPV, you were the better man.  I was blinded by rage and wanting to see you suffer took precedence over retaining my championship.  I am putting this out there right now…I will be evoking my rematch clause…but not until December’s Starcade PPV.  I will reflect on what I did wrong and will be much better prepared to regain my title…a title I fought long and hard to keep.  I will meet you or whomever is holding that title 2 months from now.  I will regain it…that is my promise to you, the fans.”

A new wrestler who (for now) calls himself “Justin” shows up.  He says he’s traveled the world – Japan, Mexico, Canada and wrestled the best of the best there.  Now he wants to show what he can do here in the US and has come to the HWF and CSWA to do exactly that.  He is expected to debut shortly.

General Manager Hulk Hogan is meeting with someone.  “Brother, I know why you came back but we really don’t have room for your – what should we call it – gimmick.”  “Mr. Hogan, let me prove myself. Let me have a match and I will show the world why ‘Droopy Balls’ McShonnissy is the right man to do whatever needs to be done.”  Hogan mulls it over.  “One Shot, Droopy Balls…that is all you get.  You mess up, you’re done.”  “I’m ready to be the next World Champion.  Stand back as the Droopy one is here” McShonnissy says.

Hulk Hogan then addresses the A-Team’s loss.  He is approached by Adam Rose who tells Hogan that the others teammates couldn’t get the job done and he felt restricted under ‘the Man’.  Rose says that he is officially quitting the A-Team and forming his own team.  Rose introduces Adrian Neville as his new partner and tonight, they are sending out an open challenge to the Tag Team Champions the Mexicali Flyers for a match for the belts.  The Flyers states that Rose and Neville need to earn a title match so tonights will be a non-title match and if they win, they will be in line for a shot.

Mexicali Flyers vs Adam Rose and Adrian Neville ends up being a 21 minute fight but as time wore on, the Flyers began running out of gas.  Around the 20 minute mark, Malo Leche de Mantequilla returns and threatens to expose the Flyers.  This causes just enough of a distraction allowing Rose to get a pin on Tornado en Fuego.

Malo Leche then proceeds to take a microphone and threatens to reveal the Flyer’s identities.  The Flyers look at each other and collectively punch Malo.  They nod to each other and begin to remove their masks revealing themselves to be…HOLY SHIT…its owner Donnie B and MW3!!!!  If Joey Styles or David Crockett were here, they’d be screaming.  Malo looks up to see the reveal and is pissed his announcement was stolen from him.  Malo slunks to the back but turns and we see a (proverbial) light bulb go off.  I wonder what he is up to.

Reid Rothchild w/Raquel is interviewed.  He said that the Elitist Championship is back home where it belongs.  Rusev was his toughest opponent to date but he battled back and overcame the Bulgarian Bully.  Reid promises the belt will never leave his possession again (my prrreesssscious).  (Editor’s note.  This is a Hobbit reference for those who didn’t get it).

Pick & the Axe vs the Dust Brothers in a tag team match.  Roman Reigns comes out and attacks Pain in the Ass to cause the DQ.  That’s ok with P&A because they were getting their collective asses kicked.

Hulk Hogan announces that Starcade 2014 in December will be the first ever major PPV for the HWF and CSWA to take place outside of the US.   He announces that the event will take place at Wembley Stadium in merry ol’ London, England.  Hogan puts Rocky Lapetus in charge of securing all passports for all performers who will be going.

AJ Lee calls out Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel and speaks to unifying the titles.  Raquel says she is the Diva’s Champion and a former Women’s Champion.  She asks AJ why, with all the female talent in the HWF and CSWA, she would want to combine the belts.  AJ says there is only ONE champion and that is her.  The “other” title is nothing more than a placeholder for the “beauty queen of the week.”   Raquel begins to take offense and talks about all the big names she’s defeated to get where she is today.  AJ ends their conversation with “You haven’t beaten me” and she walks away.

North American Champion Ryback talks about putting down the World’s Strongest Man.  Henry comes out and challenges Ryback for that belt.  Ryback accepts but not tonght.  It will be at the next show.

Senor Vampiro talks about El Chango turning on him.  “El Chango…You scumbag…you cost us the World Tag Team titles; belts we were successful in defending for some time and all because of your ego, you caused us to lose and then say it is my fault.  I’m sorry friend but that is where you are wrong.  You will pay for what you did to me; I promise you that.  Our ‘feud’…is back on.” (Editor’s note: For those who may not know, Senor Vampiro was formerally known as “Superfan” Brian who, as a guest announcer, was attacked by the Evil and dasterly El Chango.  Brian went to Mexico to find someone to train him and returned as Senor Vampiro – you can read the past history in the archive section on the blog http://hwfcswafantasy.blogspot.com)

John Cena vs Brock Lesnar is not over.  Neither man are at tonight’s event as they went to war but nothing was solved.  GM Hogan says that Cena vs Lesnar II will take place in a rematch at Starcade.

Conan Jones vs ECIII is the next match of the night.  In a match that was controlled by Conan, it unfortunately didn’t end in his favor.  Ethan Carter III hits Conan with a low blow and then nails the One Percenter and with his feet on the ropes, gets the 1-2-3.  (21 min) This brings out the Caped Crusader who tries to bring the travesty of justice to the ref but the ref says he can’t do anything about it.  The Caped Crusader confronts ECIII and after a few punches are thrown, he nails Ethan with the WAM!BAM!POW!.  He then reveals a referee shirt and signals for the match to restart.  The match only goes about 2 minutes as ECIII bails out of the ring and walks away.  Conan Jones gets the countout win but I’m sure this one isn’t over.  Conan shakes hands with Caped Crusader and both leave the ring.

The Undertaker has not been seen since Kurt buried him in the casket and the druids took him away.

For the main event, HWF World Champion Bray Wyatt comes out and will be offering a World title shot to anyone who wants it. Out comes Kevin Steen.  Steen offers to make this a brass knuckles battle but that unfortunately didn’t work out for him.  Wyatt gets the pin in an 11 minute ass kicking and pins Steen after hitting him in the chest with a brass knuckles shot.
That is all we have for now.   There is more news to follow so stay tuned.

Editor’s Note:  Just shortly after this show ended, we found out that Starcade is over 75% sold out – damn, that’s 90K+ people that place can hold.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 10.05 – Revenge: Day of Reckoning PPV

Hello Fans and welcome to our PPV:  Revenge: Day of Reckoning.  We are live in front of a sold out audience here in Cincinnati, OH and are broadcasting all over the world via PPV.  We have a fantastic show for you today.  Tons of great talent will be putting it all on the line for your enjoyment.

The show begins with lots of fireworks and “Voodoo Child” blaring out from the loudspeakers and out comes our GM – Hulk Hogan.  Hogan comes out to a mixed reaction but he doesn’t seem to care.  “The Hulkster is in the house, Brother!  Finally, the Revenge PPV is here and the best of the best are on hand to blow the roof off this place, Brother.  My CWO is in attendance as well as the superstars such as John Cena, Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles and others.  Lots of championships are also on the line so without further ado, let’s get this party started…Brother!”

The show begins and our first match of the evening is Dirk ‘the Pick’ Devon and Psycho Jack Hercules taking on the Axe and Roman Reigns.  This one had lots of action with Reigns getting tagged in early and began cleaning house.  Axe gets tagged in and finally gets in the ring with his former partner Dirk Devon.  Axe hits Dirk with a headbutt and he tags out immediately.  Axe beats down on Psycho Jack until Jack nails a low blow and Dirk tags himself back in.  Out comes their manager Rocky Lapetus and Dirk turns around questioning why he is there.  He turns around and eats a power punch from the Axe who rolls Axe up for the 1-2-3.  Axe and Roman Reigns celebrate in the ring until Psycho Jack jumps back in with a chair.  He swings at the Reigns but misses and loses the chair.  Axe picks it up and blasts…Reigns with it.  SWERVE!  Axe attacks Reigns with the chair then helps Dirk back in the ring.  The three celebrate much to the dismay of the crowd.

We now go to our first title match of the night with Women’s Champion AJ Lee taking on Cactus Jackie.  Before the match could begin, out comes the Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel who is out here to scout the match.  Jackie went toe to toe with the women’s champion for 13 full minutes until AJ locked her in a rear naked choke and if not for sheer luck in reaching the ropes, she would have passed out.  She was not the same after that and remained on the defense.  AJ locks her in the Black Widow in the middle of the ring and Jackie, with nowhere to go, taps out.  AJ Lee retains the title in 16 minutes.

Roman Reigns is being attended to by medical personnel when someone walks in wearing a Darth Vader costume.  He voice is muted so we don’t know who it is.  He tells Reigns that he will help him against Pain in the Ass.  Reigns accepts.

Our next match is Prestige Inc. members King Damian Sandow and Magnus taking on Tajiri and the returning Wade Barrett.  Prestige is there in force accompanied by Reid Rothchild and the Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel.  Reid and Raquel sat at ringside but did not interfere.  Prestige Inc. owned the match almost entirely but with quick reactive tags between Tajiri and Barrett, Prestige could not get a 1-2-3.  Finally, Magnus hits a spinning leg drop but before he could go for the pin, Tajiri spits green mist in his eyes blinding him.  Before Tajiri could capitalize on it, the bell rings signaling the end of the match.  This one went to a full 30 minute time limit draw.

Next on the card is the A-Team (Adam Rose, ‘The Man’ Austin Aries and Antonio Cesaro) taking on Wyatt’s Warriors (Centurion, Super Warrior and the Warrior of Truth) for the 6 Man Tag Team titles.  Before the match could begin, Hulk Hogan comes out and says that he expects the Warriors to fall to the might of the A-Team.  Centurion gets on the mic and says that if the A-Team cannot beat them for the titles tonight, he wants a shot at getting his GM duties back.  Hogan says that if the A-Team does not pin or make them tap and win the titles, he will agree to a match where the GM duties will be on the line between Centurion and someone of Hogan’s choosing.  The match goes to a 30 minute draw and the Warriors retain.  Hogan now has to come up with a match where the GM duties will be on the line.

In the back, the Band is being interviewed and Axe says he was and always will be a member of the “band”.  As they are leaving, Dirk shoulder bumps Rocky as he walks by.  Apparently, he is not happy with Rocky still being around.

Back to the ring for our next title match.  This one has former partners (although they say there were never on the same page) Tag Team Champions VamChango taking on the Mexicali Flyers.  This will be a no DQ/CO match.  The match went back and forth for the first 13 minutes and after Tornado en Fuego superkicked El Chango off the ring, the tide turned for the Flyers.  A near fall and save by Senor Vampiro kept the match going.  Tornado eats two crazy powerbombs from Senor Vampiro but as he goes to tag out, El Chango isn’t there.  He is confused and turns around into a Michinoku Driver and gets pinned.  The Mexicali Flyers just won the World Tag Team titles.  El Chango stands up (he must have fallen to the floor) and sees that they are no longer the champs.  He crawls back in the ring and starts shoving Senor Vampiro.  Vampiro says he did all the work and El Chango did nothing.   El Chango hits Vampiro with the Diamond Dust and then bolts after the Flyers come to Vampiro’s aid.  Senor Vampiro states it is back on between them and he will send Chango to an early grave.

We are at the half way point in our show and it is time for one of our Blockbuster matches.  This one will have CSWA World Champion Kurt Angle taking on the Undertaker in a rematch for the title.  This had to be the biggest OMG moment ever.  Basically, after the bell rang, Undertaker locks Angle in a Triangle choke in the middle of the ring.  Angle has nowhere to go and as he struggles, it only makes it worse.  In just 45 seconds, Undertaker gets Angle to tap out and he becomes the NEW World Champion once again.  Angle is LIVID.  He is hollering for his immediate rematch but Undertaker leaves with his title and leaves Angle in the ring whining that the buried alive casket match never happened.

Wow, well, to follow that, we have the Shield (Ryback, Ambrose and Rollins) taking on Christian, the Caped Crusader and Mark Henry.  This one went 29 minutes with the Shield owning the first half of the match and then after Henry cleared the ring, his team took control.  Ryback and Henry saw lots of in-ring action.  At the end, Seth Rollins takes down the World’s Strongest Man with a gut punch and hooking the tights, gets the 1-2-3.  The Shield wins this one.

Another title match is ready to take place with US Champion AJ Styles challenging Christopher Daniels in a Concession Stand brawl match.  This one was nothing short of a saloon brawl.  With lots of food flying and brooms being used to choke, in just 12 minutes, AJ nails an armlock facebuster on the concession stand demolishing it.  AJ makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  AJ retains his title.

In the back, Kurt meets up with Hogan and demands a rematch tonight saying their casket match didn’t happen.  He is not leaving without his title.  He storms off before Hogan can get a word in.

We head back to the ring with Bran-Don-Goh who will be challenging his former partner for the X-Division title.  There are a dozen fans at ringside holding Bran-Don-Goh “I just want to win” signs.  He is being Mr. Serious but when he sees those, he cracks a small smile but quickly resumes his demeanor.  Casey’s music hits and the X-Division champ rushes the ring ala Ultimate Warrior (RIP).  As soon as Casey hits the ring, the bell rings.   Before Casey can get his hands on Bran-Don-Goh, Hulk Hogan comes out and reminds us that this is an ECW rules match.  Casey stops for one second and that is all it took for Bran-Don-Goh to 100% control the match. 2 minutes in, B nails Casey with an empty chair and busts him open.  B then owned the remaining 16 minutes going for 6 pins/submission attempts in that time.  Just as Casey was ready to mount a comeback, B blasts Casey again with the empty chair and now Casey is bleeding like a stuck pig.  Bran-Don-Goh mercifully pins Casey to not only end Casey’s impressive championship run but Bran-Don-Goh is now the NEW X-Division Champion.  Casey is helped out of the ring and taken back on a stretcher.  B celebrates with his fans at ringside before departing.

Hulk Hogan comes out again and says that Undertaker and Angle wasn’t a Buried Alive Casket match so he is restarting that match now.   The Kurt Angle who beat Undertaker was back and he and Taker immediately started using props and whatever was at their disposal (a wheel barrow for one).  The two began to battle on the outside of the ring.  Kurt nails a big boot and Undertaker hits a clothesline.  He calls the Last Ride and just as he gets Kurt up, Kurt reverses it and nails an Angle Slam on the coffin.  Kurt picks up Undertaker and puts him in the coffin.  He hollers WOOO and closes the lid.  Kurt Angle has just regained the World Title.  6 Druids come out and stand on either side of the coffin and then in a type of processional, they take the coffin with the Undertaker in it (buried alive).  (9 min)

The next match is our semi main event with John Cena taking on Brock Lesnar in an I Quit match.  This was nothing short of a submission fest with neither man giving an inch.  Both men repeatedly attempted to get the other to tap out but neither would relent.  Finally, the bell rang bring this one to a 30 minute time limit draw.  After the match, both men were exhausted but this is not over; not by a long shot.

Our main event is one we’ve been waiting for now for some time.  The Elitist Champion Alexander Rusev will be taking on the previous holder of the title Reid Rothchild.  Reid was accompanied to the ring by Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel as the Hell in a Cell was lowered to the ground.  Reid gets in to the cell and then the champion comes out.  Reid must win here or he will never be able to go after this title again.  This one was just as good as the last match and both men stood toe to toe with each other.  Right about the 25 minute mark, Rusev hits a huge bodyblock and that looks to be about all for Reid as he was struggling to get to his feet.   Rusev, sensing the match is almost over turned his back for one split second.  Reid popped up and irish whipped Rusev into the cage wall and Rusev was hurt.  Reid then nails a Rothchild Stunner and then collapses on his opponent.  The ref makes a count 1…2….3.  Reid has just regained his title and defeated the Bulgarian Alexander Rusev in 25 grueling minutes.  As the cage is raised, Raquel runs to Reid and plants a big ol’ kiss on him.  She raises his arm in victory as the show comes to a close.

Thanks for reading.  Stay tuned to see what the fallout is regarding tonight’s matches.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 10.04

Hello fans and welcome back.  This will be our final newsletter before this weekend’s PPV  - Revenge: Day of Reckoning.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out to welcome everyone and then informs us that all matches today will be tag team matches with the Main Event having Champs VamChango taking on Shield members Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.  All matches will have a maximum of a 30 minute time limit.  He doesn’t waste any time and the show begins right away,.

The first match of the night is the Dust Brothers (Goldust and Stardust) taking on Epico and Primo Colon.  The Dust brothers controlled the match from the beginning showing us that they really are ready for a title shot.  The end came after Goldust nailed a falling headbutt to the groin of Primo and pinned him.  (17 min)

Match #2 has the 719 Cartel members the Mexicali Flyers taking on Roderick Strong and Kevin Steen.  In what was basically an ass-whupping, the Flyers dominated their challengers and the Flyers scored the win after El Dragon Insano hit Kevin Steen with a slingshot Suplex. (18 min)

Match #3 has Beer Money (James Storm and Bobby Roode) taking on the Axe and Roman Reigns.  The two teams were pretty close for the entire match but at the 13 minute mark, Dirk ‘the Pick’ Devon and Psycho Jack Hercules comes out for the distraction.  James Storm drops Reign’s neck over the top rope and he falls to the ground.  Bobby Roode hits Axe with a beer bottle busting him open.  Roode beats on the Axe for 2 more minutes before finally pinning him with clubbing forearms.  (15 min).  After the match, Jack and Dirk attack and stomp on Axe before an enraged Roman Reigns hits the ring and their attackers bail.  Dirk and Jack are laughing all the way to the back.

We cut to the back for an interview with the Tag Team Champions VamChango (Senor Vampiro and El Chango).    The champs are confident that they will walk out of this battle with their titles intact.  Just as they are finishing up, in walk the Mexicali Flyers.  The Flyers state that even though they are on the same team, the Flyers want a shot at the titles.  El Chango gets in El Dragon Insano’s face and says “we were never on the same side.  We do what we want, when we want.  If you want a shot at our belts, prepare for disappointment as you won’t win.  No one can beat us.”  Senor Vampiro stood there nodding his head in agreement.  Tornado en Fuego spoke up “Underestimate us…fine…that will make it all that much better when we beat you.”  Senor Vampiro spoke up “Never gonna happen.”  The 4 stood there staring at each other as the camera faded out.

We go back to the ring for our 4th match and this one has A-Team members ‘The Man’ Austin Aries and Antonio Cesaro taking on Wyatt’s Warriors members Super Warrior and Centurion.  Adam Rose and the Warrior of Truth accompanied their respective teams to the ring.  All 6 of these men will be meeting at the PPV for the 6 man titles.  This had to be the worst ass-kicking of the night (a score of 219 to 86) with the champions being handed the worst beating of their entire lives.  The A-team basically toyed with them for the whole match but it wasn’t until the 21 minute mark when the HWF and Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt came out.  He provided his team the intestinal fortitude to battle back from the brink of destruction.  Somehow Super Warrior hurled Austin Aries out of the ring where he landed/was caught by his teammates and they all went down like bowling pins.  Aries ends up getting counted out and the Warriors get a win (crazy lucky).  (21 ½  min).

We are back in the interview area where the Shield w/ Ryback are talking about changing the face of the wrestling world and that all starts with them winning the titles tonight.  Ryback says he’ll be in his partner’s corner but Hulk Hogan walks in and forbids Ryback from going to the ring.  This will really be a “best team wins” match.

Match #5 has the team of Tajiri, Wade Barrett and Alexander Rusev taking on Prestige Inc. (King Damian Sandow, Magnus and Reid Rothchild).  After everyone got in the ring, Rusev began flaunting the Elitist title in Reid’s face aggravating him as much as he could.  This was another very close match with Reid getting some 1:1 time with his PPV opponent.  As the match progressed, Prestige Inc. became more and more confident in their abilities to defeat their opponents.  Magnus manages to take out Wade Barrett, Reid and Rusev battle to the back and King Damian Sandow nails Tajiri with a double-arm neckbreaker and he scores the pin for his team.   (23 min)

Match #6 is our main event for the evening with the Tag Team Champions VamChango taking on the Shield for these very titles.  This was pathetically the quickest match of the night with the Champions retaining their titles via Countout in only 3 minutes after Dean Ambrose was not able to answer the 10 count.

The champs began to gloat about their superior win when the Mexicali Flyers came out and asked for their title shot.  El Chango tried to back out but GM Hulk Hogan came out and made the match.  This one went a little longer than the last match and both teams were pretty well matched up.  At the 15 minute mark, Senor Vampiro gets tossed out of the ring and decides with El Chango to walk away.  The match ends in countout and the win but not the titles goes to the Mexicali Flyers.  VamChango return to the ring and attack the Flyers with steel chairs.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and stops them before doing any more damage.  Hogan says that the Flyers and VamChango will meet one final time at the Revenge PPV and the titles will be on the line.  “Whatcha gonna do, Brothers, when the Flyers run wild on you?”  The show then comes to a close.

The PPV will be up next so stay tuned.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 10.03

Hello fans.  Like I said, I have to catch up on my lack of posting as we want to keep you, the fans, well informed into the goings-on within the CSWA and HWF as we head to our October PPV Revenge: Day of Reckoning.

The show begins with GM Hulk Hogan making his way to the ring.  He takes a microphone.  “Welcome Cleveland…the home of the Christmas Story House.  If you haven’t been there, you need to go see it, brother.  Just like stepping back in time.  And if you so choose, you can go across the street to the gift shop and take home a leg lamp, a Red Ryder BB gun or if you’re feeling adventurous, the Pink Nightmare.  Enough shilling for the man.  Fans for around the globe, tonight, I present to you the lineup of next week’s PPV - Revenge: Day of Reckoning.”

He paused to let the crowd die down before continuing.  “We will have a lineup that puts the best of who we have in your face to let you experience a show like no other.  Matches taking place will be:

AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels for the US title in a Concession Stand Brawl match
AJ Lee vs Cactus Jackie for the Women’s title in a ladder match
John Cena vs Brock Lesnar in an I Quit match
The Shield (Ryback, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins) vs Christian, the Caped Crusader and Mark Henry
Casey Jones vs Bran-Don-Goh for the X-Division title in an ECW rules match
Reid Rothchild vs Alexander Rusev for the Elitist Title in a Hell in a Cell
Dirk Devon & Psycho Jack vs Axe and Roman Reigns
Tajiri & a mystery partner vs Magnus and King Damian Sandow from Prestige Inc.
The CWO’s own A-Team (Adam Rose, Austin Aries & Antonio Cesaro) w/Abyss vs Wyatt’s Warriors for the 6 Man tag team titles.
Kurt Angle vs Undertaker in a rematch for the CSWA World title.

“The card is full and tickets are almost sold out.  Get your tickets now because when we invade Cincinnati next week, the CSWA and HWF will be taking over the city and WHATCHA GONNA DO…when the CSWA and the HWF take over and RUN WILD ON YOU?”  Hogan leaves and the show begins.

The first match is Sheamus getting his title shot at Jay Lethal.  Lethal says that the Hardcore title must be defended in a specialty match and that would be a Brawl Games match (no DQ).  Sheamus was truly in rare form as it took 8 minutes to totally dominate the champion.  Sheamus gets the win with an Irish backbreaker but Lethal gets up before the 10 count so the match continues but Jay must score a pin or submission in the next 10 minutes or Sheamus will be declared the winner.  Jay pulled out all the stops, hitting the Lethal Injection 3 times but it wasn’t enough to keep the Irishman down.  As the clock neared that 10 minute mark, Sheamus nails another Irish backbreaker but Lethal nails the Lethal Injection.  He makes the cover but the bell sounds at the 1 count bringing this match to a close.  Since Jay did not score a pin or sub in that final 10 minutes, Sheamus is declared the winner and NEW Hardcore Champion.  Sheamus’ victory is short lived as Curtis Axel runs down and attacks Sheamus demanding a title shot here and now.  This one will be a coleminers glove match.  Axel immediately grabs the glove and swings but Sheamus reverses it, takes the glove and hits him with a low blow.  Axel goes on the defense for the rest of the (albeit, short) match.  Sheamus hits an Irish backbreaker and smashes him with a miner’s helmet drawing blood.  Just as Axel is getting up, Sheamus low blows him again with the miners glove.  Sheamus hits a white noise piledriver and then locks in an Irish clover leaf trying to get Curtis to tap out but he doesn’t.  Sheamus calls for Axel to get up and then blasts him with the coal shovel practically knocking him out.  He makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Sheamus is victorious in his first title defense.

Ravishing Raquel comes out and states that she is not on the PPV card but she is here and ready and willing to defend her title against anyone.  Out comes Cactus Jackie who says she’ll take Raquel up on her offer and after tonight, SHE’LL be the one to meet AJ Lee for the Wormen’s title and she’ll do it as the Diva’s Champion.  Raquel says that the only thing Jackie will have after tonight is another loss in her match column.  The two battle like bats out of hell and for 11 minutes, Jackie went toe to toe with the champ.  Raquel catches Jackie with a moonsault and then follows it up with a full nelson slam and makes the cover for the 1-2-3.  (13 min). Jackie takes a mic and says that title matches are supposed to be best of 3 falls and wants her additional chance to win the title.  The second fall goes to Jackie who gets the quick win via countout in just 3 minutes.  Jackie began the 3rd fall by tossing Raquel to the floor in hopes to get another countout win but Raquel kept battling back.  The third fall goes to 9 minutes and after Jackie stomped a mudhole in Raquel’s face, Raquel pulls Jackie down and locks in the Ravishing Chickenwing.  Jackie screamed in pain and tried to reach for the ropes but to no avail.  Jackie ends up tapping out to the chickenwing.  Raquel gets the win and retains her title.  Jackie leaves the ring with her head hanging low.

Professor Cobra (someone we haven’t heard from in a while) comes out and says that he stands alone.  He has no allegiance to anyone and then we hear “boo hoo hoo”.  Out walks the Miz.  “Awww, has the cobra lost his bite?  Has the cobra been put out?  Not yet I see but it is time for the Miz to get himself back into title contention and I will do that by putting you to pasture old man.”  These two had a very solid match with Miz, the veteran, attempting to control the pace but this Cobra has not lost his bite.  The two battled all over the ring for an astounding 15 minutes.  Cobra nails a Japanese armdrag but Miz pops up and hits the Mizard of Oz and with his feet on the bottom rope, gets the 1-2-3.  Miz gets up and begins to gloat about his greatness until Cobra pops up and nails Miz with the Flying Mamba.  Miz is pissed off that Cobra ruined his celebration but Cobra remained in the ring and celebrated with the fans.

Christopher Daniels comes out and calls out AJ Styles but instead out comes AJ Lee.  She skips down to the ring much to the confusion of Daniels.  She waves to the fans in the audience and then skips to the back holding her Women’s Title held high.   During the distraction, the OTHER AJ com sneaks in from the crowd and attacks Daniels.  AJ dropped Daniels with a Pele kick.  AJ stands over him yelling that he is the number one contender and HE is deserving of the title shot.  AJ begins to slap the face of his one time friend but Daniels gets up and nails a double knee gutbuster.  The wind is knocked out of AJ and Daniels hits him with the Angel’s Wings.  Daniels goes to pick up the US title and instead drops it right on AJ’s face.  Daniels says that when he is the champion, he will hold it for the world to see.  He then walks off and AJ leaves shortly thereafter.

Prestige Inc. members King Damian Sandow and Magnus make their way to the ring.  Sandow talks about the upcoming match between Reid and Rusev.  Magnus adds that Reid is more focused than ever before and Rusev will be in world of hurt.  Damian says that they too have a match at the PPV.  They are interrupted by Tajiri.  He doesn’t speak English so he has cue cards.  The first one reads “I am ready for our match.”  Sandow chimes in “But who is your partner?”  Tajiri holds up another sign “Turn around”. Magnus and Sandow turn around to see Bad New Wade Barrett standing behind them in the ring.  Barrett hits the Bull Hammer on both and stands tall in the ring much to the dismay of the fans in attendance.

The CSWA World Champ Kurt Angle comes out and calls out the Undertaker.  He says he’s tired of the games but that last one with the APA masquerading as Druids was pretty cool.  Undertaker makes his way down to the ring and tells Angle that he had better polish up that belt because Undertaker is ready to bring it back home.   Angle tells Undertaker to stop dreaming because that will not be happening.  Undertaker tells Kurt he took his belt illegally and that he will be standing victorious.  Angle turns and suckerpunches Taker but UT battles back and shoves him into the corner choking him.  Angle wiggles out of it and nails an Angle Slam.  He picks up Undertaker and hits 2 belly to belly suplexes.  He then jumps out of the ring and pulls a box from under the ring.  It looks like a makeshift casket.  Kurt gets back in the ring and Undertaker sits up.  Angle freaks out and bails.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says that Undertaker vs Kurt Angle will be a Buried Alive (in a casket) match for the CSWA World title.  The show ends with Hogan’s “Real American” music playing and him posing for the crowd.

That’s all for now.  Stay tuned as the PPV is just around the corner.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 10.02

Hello fans and welcome back to our second newsletter of the month.  This reporter just got too busy with life that I’ve been unable to keep up on the goings-on in the HWF and CSWA but I’ll do my best to do a recap.

AJ Styles starts off the show and says that he got injured at the hands of Daniels and that caused him to lose by countout.  He should be the rightful #1 contender as he is still the US Champion.  Christopher Daniels comes out and tells AJ that once he wins the World title, AJ will be first in line for the shot.  Both men shake hands but don’t let go.  A test of strength is going on as well as a staring contest.  After about 30 seconds, both men let go and then leave the ring.

Our first match of the evening is Christian vs Sheamus with the winner getting a Hardcore title shot at Jay Lethal.  Christian has his Peeps on one side and Sheamus has fans on the other.  The fans have as much fun taunting each other as the two competitors do in the ring.  Christian nails the Unprettier for a quick 2 count.  Sheamus bounces up and nails a front powerslam.  Curtis Axel then makes his way out and Christian is distracted.  Sheamus nails a Brogue kick and pins Christian at the 3 minute mark.  Sheamus goes on later tonight for a match against Jay Lethal.

The Women’s World Champion AJ Lee then makes her way out and begins to address the Cactus Jackie situation.  Jackie runs in from the crowd for a second time but this time, AJ is expecting it.  As soon as Jackie hits the ring, AJ grabs her and tosses her right out on her butt.  Jackie is steaming.  She says she wants a title shot at AJ and the champ agrees.  These two will have a match at the PPV.

GM Hulk Hogan comes out with his meat shield in tow but they are carrying a table.  They set it up in the ring and Hogan calls down Reid Rothchild.   Reid comes out with the Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel.  Hogan has him sit at one side of the table.  He then calls out Alexander Rusev.  Rusev comes out and is directed to sit at the other side of the table.  The two competitors are staring at each other with looks that could kill.  Hogan presents them with their match contract and Reid signs first.  Rusev then snatches it from him and signs.  Hogan says “Alright, it is official” and leaves the ring.  Reid jumps over the table but Rusev catches him and slams him on top of the table.  Rusev is choking Reid and Raquel nails the Bulgarian with a chair.  Rusev turns to go after Raquel but Reid pops up and charges him.  Rusev, sensing the ploy turns and grabs Reid in mid-air and then running powerlams him right through the table.  Raquel rushes to Reid’s side and Rusev just stares at them.  All parties eventually leave with no more interaction.

Dirk Devon comes out and calls out any competitor from either brand to take him on.  Out comes Conan Jones and he heads right to the ring.  Dirk was in control for the entire match but for some reason, Psycho Jack Hercules came out.  He added to the match as a distraction which gave Dirk the win in 7 minutes after hitting a Bass Body Avalanche.  Dirk questions Jack why he’s there and Jack says it was at the behest of their manager Rocky Lapetus.  Dirk storms out of the ring and heads to the back.

HWF and Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt comes out and talks about his match against one of his own Warriors.  He states that Super Warrior knew what he was getting into and that they are still on the same page.  New music hits and out comes Brock Lesnar.  Lesnar gets in the ring and tells Wyatt to shove off.  Brock then goes on a tirade talking about how he was going to destroy the image and body of John Cena and rid us once and for all of such nonsense.  This of course brings Cena out who rushes the ring and attacks Brock.  Bray is standing in the corner watching it all unfold and starts to laugh uncontrollably.  Cena nails Brock with the AA but then Bray runs over and hits John with Sister Abigail.  Brock and Cena are down and Bray is standing tall.  Hogan comes out and says that tonight, we will have a match we’ve never seen before.  HWF Champion Bray Wyatt will take on John Cena and Brock Lesnar in a 3 way battle for the title.   Wyatt is not happy and quickly leaves the ring.  Cena and Brock also eventually leave.

We cut to the back where Reid is being treated by medical personnel.  Reid looks at the camera and in as few words as we’ve ever heard him utter, Reid just says “Rusev, you’re finished.”

We cut back to Hogan in his office and in barges the HWF World and Undisputed Champion Bray Wyatt.  Wyatt questions what Hogan thinks he’s doing putting not just one but two powder kegs in the ring that will explode and destroy everything in their path.  Hogan says that Bray holds two very prestigious titles and if he can do that, he can take on two of the very best the HWF has to offer.  Bray storms out.

We head back to the ring where Bray Wyatt is already in the ring waiting on his opponents.  First out comes John Cena who charges the ring and goes right after Bray.  He is immediately followed by Brock who bolts to the ring and attacks Cena.  Bray hops out of the ring to let these two battle it out.  In what turned out to be 30 solid minutes of Brock and John beating the Holy Hell out of each other, Bray just stayed outside the ring and even climbed the ring barrier to sit alongside the fans to watch this play out.  A few times John and Brock almost had near falls but Bray felt he knew when the match would end.  As we got close to that 30 minute mark, Bray shook the hands of the fans he was sitting with and climbed back over the barrier to once again get involved in his match.  By this time, Cena and Brock were pretty exhausted.  Brya nails both Cena and Brock with Sister Abigail and both roll out of the ring. Bray then sits in the middle of the ring and starts to sing “I’ve got the whole world in my hands” while the ref counts Cena and Brock down and out.  Bray Wyatt gets the win via countout decision.  Bray stands up and leaves with his titles.

Following this wonderful piece of action is our main event with CSWA World Champion Kurt Angle taking on Christopher Daniels in a best of 3 falls; 60 minute time limit match.  The first fall is all action packed with the champion totally dominating the challenger.  The first fall goes 14 minutes and ends when Kurt nailed an Angle Slam.  Before the second fall could begin, US Champion AJ Styles makes his way to the ring and sits at ringside. This next fall has a better showing from the challenger but the champ is just too much for him and in only 6 minutes, nails another Angle Slam for the win.  Daniels is a little slow getting up.  AJ hops in the ring and gets in Kurt’s face.  The two start to brawl until AJ stops, turns and nails a superkick to Christopher Daniels.  Daniels drops and then Kurt nails AJ with an Angle Slam.   The lights go out once again and the eerie blue light fills the arena.  The Undertaker is standing at the top of the ramp.  He starts to make his way to the ring.  Kurt lowers his shoulder strap and then motions for Taker to get in the ring.  2 Druids (hey, remember them from Taker’s Lord of the Darkness days?) and grab a hold of Kurt.  Undertaker then climbs in the ring as Kurt struggles against the Druids.  Undertaker motions for them to let him go and Kurt immediately turns and goes to hit one of the Druids but is met with a pretty nasty clothesline.    The other Druid hits a Dominator type move on Kurt.  They lower their hoods to reveal…WHAT…IT’S THE APA: Acolyte Protection Agency.  Undertaker nails Kurt with the Last Ride and he and JBL stare at Ron Simmons.  Ron looks around and after a pop from the crowd, yells “DAMN!”  Simmons and JBL leave as Undertaker stands in the ring to end the show.

Stay tuned as I have more to report on.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 10.01

Hello fans and welcome back to our first newsletter for the month of October.  The show begins with Hogan sitting in his dressing room watching the “pizza” video and says that he will speak to both Rusev and Reid and if this or any unauthorized contact between them happens again, they will be suspended indefinitely.  He then turns and sees a camera.  He then goes right into GM mode.  “The Hulkster wants to welcome the fans of the HWF and CSWA to our show today.  Today, we will have a tournament to determine who gets the next shot at Jay Lethal’s Hardcore title.  Participating in that will be Curtis Axel, Daniel Bryan, Conan Jones (who gets the biggest pop), Kevin Steen, Big E, Christian, Sheamus and the Axe.  The names will be drawn at random  and those matches will happen here tonight, in Buffalo, NY.   Also, Bran-Don-Goh is on hand to talk about his turn on former partner and X-Division Champion Casey Jones.  In our main event for the evening, AJ Styles takes on Christopher Daniels to see who will challenge World Champion Kurt Angle next but with a twist.  The US title held by Styles will be on the line here too.  If AJ loses, Daniels will get the world title shot as well as become the new US Champion.  That match is sure to knock your socks off, brother.  With that, let’s get this show on the road.  WHATCHA GONNA DO…WHEN GM HULK HOGAN…RUNS WILD ON YOU???”

We head to the ring for our first match.  Curtis Axel is taking on Captain Charisma Christian.  Christian is wearing a “Peeps Rule” shirt.  Curtis was owning the leader of the Peeps and at the 8 minute mark, gets thrown to the outside by Christian.  Christian follows him out and nails an Unprerttier dropping Axel to the mat.  Christian rolls back in and beats the 10 count.  Christian wins by CO and moves on in the tourney.

Before the next match could begin, Bran-Don-Goh makes his way to the ring and the fans are booing him.  He starts to flip them off which only incites them more.  He makes it to the ring and takes a mic.  “Shut up!  I’m trying to talk here.”  The fans just get more and more rowdy.  “I’m here to explain why I did to Casey.  Shut up!”  The fans don’t let B get in much.  “I asked for ‘the Mighty Casey’ to give me a title shot and you know what, he refused.  That’s right.  My own EX-partner is scared of me.  That is why he won’t give me a title shot.  Hey, all I want to do in win and you can’t do that when someone is hogging all the limelight.”  The crowd then pops huge as Casey Jones runs down to the ring with his hockey stick.  Bran-Don-Goh’s eyes go all wide and he bolts out of the ring before Casey, who was swinging the hockey stick, could take his head off.  Casey picks up the mic that B dropped.  “You are a coward.  Get in this ring and fight me NOW.”  Bran-Don-Goh starts to walk off.  Casey continued “You want a title shot at this belt?  Fine.  You got it.  And you know what, it will be at Revenge and I will get my revenge for your cowardly attack and I will still be standing here as the champ.”  Casey holds his title high taunting Bran-Don-Goh with it who begins to get angry as his upper lip begins to curl.  He then walks away and Casey leaves a minute later.

We are ready for the next match which as Daniel Bryan taking on Kevin Steen.  The match goes for 26 minutes and Bryan is easily controlling the match.  Steen gets in some decent shots but Daniel proves to be too much.  Bryan nails a missile dropkick out of nowhere and makes the cover for the 1-2-3.  Daniel Bryan moves on.

We are taking a break from in-ring action when the Women’s Champion AJ Lee comes down to the ring skipping and bopping.  She gets in the ring and starts to call out the Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel when Cactus Jackie hits the ring and attacks the champ.  She kicks and beats AJ down and then locks in the desert stretch.  AJ is tapping out but there is no one to break it up.  Finally, Jackie lets her go and then kicks AJ one last time.  “Don’t you turn your back on me, BITCH.  I’m not through with you.”  Jackie picks up the Women’s title and holds it high but she is booed.  She flips off the fans and then drops the title on AJ before leaving.

We go back to the ring for more action with Conan Jones making his way out followed by his opponent The Axe.  The match stays pretty even for the first 6 minutes then Conan breaks out the big guns and totally owns the Axe.  Axe hit “The Axe” but wasn’t able to capitalize on it. Conan jumps over the top rope and does a neck snap on the top ring rope but then bounces back in, nails a fireman’s carry and then covers him for the win.  Conan Jones moves forward in the tournament.  (18 min)

We are ready for our final match of the 1st round with Big E taking on the Great White Hope (he is as white as white can be) Sheamus.  Both men held their own until towards the end of the match.  Sheamus hits a Brogue kick but Big E won’t go down.  He then locks in the Irish Clover Leaf and surprisingly, Big E taps out.  Sheamus gets the win in 16 minutes and moves on.

Christian vs Daniel Bryan is up next.  Christian was dominating Bryan for what turned out to be a short match.  After whomping on Bryan, Christian tosses him to the outside of the ring. Bryan, exhausted from this beat down and his prior match, does not make it back in before the 10 count.  Captain Charisma gets his second win of the night via Countout.

We move to tag team action with CWO members Dirk “the Pick” Devon and Psycho Jack Hercules challenging Robbie E and Rob Terry for their tag team title shot.  The Pick and the Psycho one are accompanied to the ring by Rocky Lapetus.  Dirk begins by yelling at Rocky for no apparent reason.  It took 3 minutes for team CWO to get on the same page but when they did, they totally overwhelmed their opponents.  In just under 9 minutes, Psycho Jack nails Rob Terry with an assassin kick.  Team CWO is now in line for a tag team title shot.  They gloat in the ring but that is short lived as the Axe and his partner Roman Reigns rush the ring and Pick and Jack leave.  Axe throws out a challenge for the Revenge PPV and before Pick could weasel his way out, Psycho Jack accepts.  Dirk then starts yelling at Jack as well as Rocky Lapetus (HOW could YOU let THIS happen?)

Conan Jones and Sheamus head to the ring for their match.  This one was about as even as you can get.  Neither could get any advantage over the other until Conan, who went for a flying dropkick, missed when Sheamus held the ropes and Sheamus locked in the Irish Clover Leaf.  It took almost a full minute but Conan finally tapped out.  Sheamus will go on to meet Christian at the next show for a shot at the Hardcore title.

We are ready for the main event as Christopher Daniels makes his way to the ring first.  He is then followed by the US Champion AJ Styles.  New music hits and the CSWA World Champion Kurt Angle makes his way out and sits at ringside.  Angle shakes the hands of both men before taking a seat with the ringside announcers.  This one was another very close, very on-the-edge-of-your-seat match.  Lots of high spots brought oohs and ahhs from the crowd.  AJ nailed a spin kick and just as he thought he would be able to go for a pin, Daniels hoisted him up and dumped him hard out of the ring.  Daniels collapsed in the ring while the ref started counting.  AJ tried to get up but his leg kept giving out.  Daniels kept sliding out of the ring and nailing AJ’s leg with a dropkick.  Finally, AJ was not able to make it back in the ring and got counted out.  The title does not change hands on a countout but Daniels gets the win and will get a shot at Kurt Angle.  Angle climbs in the ring and goes to congratulate Daniels but he nails an Angle Slam.  Kurt lowers his shoulder strap and yells “WOOO” but the lights go out and that eerie blue spotlight shines on Kurt in the ring.  He starts to panic but nothing happens.  The show ends with Kurt standing in the ring freaking out.

That is all for now.  Stay tuned as we finalize the PPV.
