HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 02.05

Hello fans.  Well, our first PPV of the year Warzone: Battlefield of Pain will be taking place this weekend.  HWF World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar has been calling for Kane to stop hiding and come out and defend the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship.  This did not sit well with CSWA World Champion AJ Styles.  Styles confronted Lesnar and said that he needed to focus on him first as he wants the shot at Kane and will go through Lesnar to get it.  Brock started to laugh which pissed off AJ.  “You want to settle this now?  We can head to the ring right now.”  Brock stopped him.  “Listen little man.  There is a PPV at the end of this week.  Don’t be in such a hurry to get your ass smoked.  You’ll get your turn to become just another victim.”  Brock then walked away.

Hardly Predictable comprising of Bran-Don-Goh (w/ Fusion Valentine), Mike “the Axe” Medley and Casey Jones all made their way to the ring.  Bran-Don-Goh got on the mic first.  “Hardly Predictable comprised of yours truly, the Axe and Mr. Jones are ready to take on Prestige Inc.  Those 6 man titles will be ours before you know it.”  The Axe started scanning the crowd when all of a sudden, he went white as a ghost.  Casey asked if he was ok and he looked back and what he thought he saw was gone.  Axe then took the mic.  “HP is here to dominate the sport.  We’ve proven ourselves to be the #1 team and will prove it this weekend when we defeat Prestige Inc for those belts.”  This then prompted Prestige Inc (w/ the Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel) to come out.  Reid was the first to speak.  “So you who call yourselves (what was it?) Happily Pathetic think you’re going to defeat US for these titles?  My friends, you all are seriously mistaken.”  Magnus then spoke up.  “Prestige Inc is the ULTIMATE power in the universe.  We will prove it when we beat your asses from one end of the ring to the other.”  Magnus then handed the mic to King Damian Sandow.  “Listen you maggots.  We are the greatest thing walking this earth and nothing you can do will change that.”  Alicia Fox runs from backstage and attacks Raquel.  The brawl and take their fight to the back.  The remaining members of Prestige Inc then hit the ring but HP was prepared for them.  Axe nearly decapitates Sandow; Casey Jones wallops Magnus with his hockey stick and Bran-Don-Goh drops Reid with the “Fancy Pants.”  HP picks up the titles and holds them over their heads to the cheering of the fans.  They then drop the titles on their fallen foes and walk out.

Malo Leche de Mantequilla then comes out and calls out Tyson Kidd.  The Kidd comes out and says he will tear Malo a new one for constantly interfering in his business.  Malo nails Kidd with a doom bomb but Kidd nearly takes Malo’s head off with a superkick.  Malo makes his way to the back yelling at Kidd.  Kidd eventually leaves the ring.

In the back, Senor Vampiro is being interviewed.  “The time has come for Senor Vampiro to make his in-ring debut.  I will have the awesome Pai Mei in my corner as I take on that dirty, rotten, scoundrel El Chango.  Chango, once I am through with you, you will be dispensed and driven out of here never to be seen from again.”  All of a sudden, El Chango attacks Vampiro backstage and they fight briefly before security breaks it up.  El Chango exclaims “You will bow down before me Vampiro.  I swear it.  No matter that it takes an eternity, you will bow down before me; both you and then one day, your heirs.”

Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Kane was also backstage.  He was pacing like a caged animal.  As Clarkus Kentus approached him, Kane just glared and Clarkus bolted dropping the mic.  Kane picked it up and then turned and glared at the camera.  “Lesnar, your ass is grass.”  Kane then left.

Master Bull was in his office taking notes and looking at a board with the PPV layout on it.  Here is what he had for the matches for this weekend’s PPV:

What’s good for business?
HWF World Champion Brock Lesnar vs CSWA World Champion AJ Styles
Malo Leche vs Tyson Kidd (possible specialty match)
Senior Vampiro vs El Chango (possible specialty match)
6 Man tag Team Championship:  Prestige Inc vs Hardly Predictable
Undisputed champion Kane vs AJ Styles (CSWA champion) or HWF Champion Brock Lesnar (want to see Kane vs Lesnar again.  If Lesnar, needs to be confined to a cage)
X-Division Champion Professor Cobra vs Epico Colon
Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel vs Alicia Fox (do I ban Prestige Inc or at least Reid from ringside?)
All title matches need to be 60 min/Best of 3 falls.

Fusion Valentine approached Master Bull and asked to speak with him.  She mentioned that her match with Gail Kim for the Women’s Championship was not a best of 3 falls match.  Master Bull admits he forgot about the rule until recently and apologized for it.  She asked if she could get a rematch against Kim.  Master Bull said that the show following the PPV will have a woman’s #1 contender match.  She would be in line but had not decided on her opponent just yet.  She said she would welcome any challenge and thanked him before heading out.  She did stop and notice that the printer Master Bull had in his corner was a Lexmark that kept hiccupping .  She turned back around and said that he should have gone with HP (not Hardly Predictable) as it is more reliable.  She then left.

That is all for now.  If anything else surfaces between now and the PPV, you will read it here first.  Stay Tuned.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014–02.04

Hello fans and welcome to our 3rd house show of the week taking place in Springfield, IL.

This show begins with Master Bull making his way out.  “Welcome one and all to the HWF and CSWA LIVE in Springfield, IL.”  He left the fans cheering die down before continuing.  “Well, the last two days have been extremely eventful.  We have a couple of matches already set up for the Warzone: Battlefield of Pain PPV but first, an update on Undisputed Champion Kane.  He suffered pretty bad at the hands of Brock Lesnar.  Kane will be kept off all shows until the PPV.    So far, we have these matches already set:

Malo Leche de Mantequilla taking on Tyson Kidd
Senior Vampiro will finally get his hands on El Chango
Prestige Inc will be defending the 6 man tag team titles against Hardly Predictable
Ravishing Raquel will be defending her Diva’s title against Alicia Fox

“After tonight’s show, we will have more matches decided and announced next week before the PPV.  With that, Enjoy the Show.”

Show 3 begins with Epico Colon taking on X-Division champion Professor Cobra in a non-title match.  As soon as the bell rang, Epico tosses Cobra from the ring.  He then handcuffs him to the ringside barrier and rolls back in just as the 10 count is reached.  Colon wins the match via Countout and will get a title shot at the PPV.

Next up is Big E Langson vs Eric Young.  After a dominating 16 minutes, Langston makes the merciful pin after hitting Young with a Freight Train Body Smash.

The match that followed is Mike Bennett vs Kofi Kingston.  Bennett gets a rare win after his girlfriend Maria distracted Kofi and with feet on the ropes, Bennett pinned him.

Next on the card is Miz taking on Great Khali.  In 8 minutes, after Khali was down, Miz delivered a bunch of kicks to his fallen foe and pinned him.

The first title match of the night has European Champion Kazarian taking on Wade “Bad News” Barrett.  BNB came out before the match and told Kazarian that he had bad news from him and it was that Barrett was walking out with the title.  In a very close 9 minute match, Kaz gets the win after hitting the Wave of the Future.  As he leaves the ring, he turns to Barrett and says “Bad news is that I just kicked your ass.”

In the back, Daniel Bryan is approached by Batista.  Dave tells Bryan that the two of them have a match tonight and may the better man win.  Bryan shakes his hand and says “You’re right.  The better man will.”  Bryan then walks away.

Up next is Jeff Hardy vs Jay Lethal.  In 14 minutes, Black Machismo nails the Enigma with a diving double axe handle smash.  Lethal may have been pulling a bit of tights but we really couldn’t tell.

In the first of two main events, CSWA World Champion AJ Styles took on the New Internet Media Champion Christian.  The match was even for almost the full 17 minutes it went on.  Every move the champ made, the challenger countered and vice a versa.  At the 17 minute mark, Christian gets tossed out of the ring.  AJ hits a pele kick knocking Christian into the ringside barrier.  AJ makes it back into the ring as the ref counts to 10.  AJ gets the win and retains his title via countout.  After the match, Christian has a stare down with Styles and ends up shaking his hand.

In our second main event, Daniel Bryan takes on the returning Batista.   For the first 12 minutes of the match, Bryan stayed even with Batista.  Batista then botches a powerslam and Daniel went on the defense for the remaining 5 minutes.  Batista hits a running clothesline and makes the cover getting the 1-2-3.  Batista gets the win.

That’s all for now.  We should have the rest of the PPV card finalized next week.  Stay tuned.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 –02.03

Hello fans, well, let’s jump right into the events of the show taking place in Oklahoma City, OK.

Show 2

The show begins with North American Champion Curtis Axel taking on Zack Ryder.  In 20 minutes, Axel gets the win after locking in a rear chinlock and just as Ryder was passing out, Axel pinned him.

Following this was 2 members of Hardly Predictable Mike “the Axe” Medley and Casey Jones taking on 2 members of Prestige, Inc., King Damian Sandow and Magnus.  In dominating fashion, Medley and Casey took it to Prestige and after 24 minutes, Casey gives Magnus a nasty eye gouge and then rolls him up for the pin.  After the match, Reid Rothchild came down followed by Bran-don-Goh so neither team got a jump on the other.  HP motioned that they would be the next 6 Man tag team champions.

Out next was Big Show taking on Rey Mysterio Jr.  Both men stayed toe to toe for a solid 16 minutes but after a dropkick to the knee of Show brought the big man down, Rey nails the 6-1-9 and gets the pin.

Back to Tag Team action, the Tag Team Champions the A-Team (consisting of Alberto Del Rio and Austin Aries) defended their titles against the Uso’s.  Antonio Cesaro accompanied his teammates to the ring.  After an 18 minute back and forth battle, Del Rio catches Jey in a rolling cross armbreaker.  Exhausted, Jey didn’t pay attention to the count and ended up getting pinned.  The A-team has another successful title defense.

In the back, HWF World Heavyweight Champion Kane storms into Master Bull’s office.  He demands Brock Lesnar’s head on a platter.  Master Bull tells him to calm down and that his match with Brock will be tonight’s main event.  Kane replies “Hell is coming to Oklahoma” and lifts and quickly drops his arms and flames shoot up from the sides of Master Bull’s desk.  He looks a little petrified as the flames die down.

Up next is Ezekiel Jackson (now wanting to be called ‘Big Zeek’) came out to take on Hernandez.  After a short 8 minute match, Big Zeek gets the win after taking Hernandez down with a massive clothesline.

In our second to last match, Mark Henry took on Bully Ray.  In 17 minutes, Henry catches Bully Ray in a bearhug and the big bully has no choice but to tap out.

In the main event, Kane came out for his match against Brock Lesnar.  Master Bull then came out and said that he didn’t want this ending “lame” so he made the match a Steel Cage match.  Lesnar didn’t look too happy about it but went right after Kane when the bell rang.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 02.02

Hello fans and welcome back.  As we build up towards our February PPV Warzone: Battlefield of Pain, there were multiple house shows taking place all over the US.

Show 1

The show, recorded in front of a live audience in Omaha, NE, started off with Hardly Predictable vs the Shield for the #1 contenders spot.  In just 33 minutes, the Shield gets the win with Reigns getting the pin with an armbar on Casey Jones.  With this win, Hardly Predictable loses their PPV match and the Shield are now in line for the 6 man tag team titles.  While in the ring, the Shield are gloating about their win when Bran-Don-Goh gets into Dean Ambrose’s face and dares them to try this again.  The Shield say they are up to beating down these chumps one more time.  Master Bull comes out to the ring and says that these two will meet one more time but the Shield has to put their newly acquired title match on the line.  Ambrose stepped up and said “No Problem”.  This did not sit well with Reigns who said they needed to talk about these things before jumping the gun.  Ambrose said “I’ve got this – with or without you.”  Ambrose then walked away leaving his tag team partners in the ring.

The next match on the card is El Chango vs ???.  The match never began.  As soon as El Chango got in the ring, out came Senior Vampiro.  Vampiro ran to the ring which caused El Chango to bolt through the crowd.  Senior Vampiro motions for El Chango to return to the ring but he refuses.  Vampiro celebrates with the fans before leaving.

The third match on this card had James Storm/ Bobby Roode vs Kevin Steen/Roderick Strong.  In 18 minutes, the team of Storm/Roode get the win after Bobby Roode pinned Kevin Steen with a back suplex.

Coming out next was Goldust vs King Mo Lawal.  In 23 minutes of domination by the King, Goldust nails the Shattered Dreams and rolls up Mo for the 1-2-3.

US champion Sheamus came out to defend his title against Ryback.  In 22 minutes, Sheamus hits the Brogue kick ending all aspirations of Ryback winning the title.  Sheamus walks out with his title intact.

IM Champ CM Punk vs Tyson Kidd was next on the card.  Before the match could begin, Malo Leche de Mantequilla comes out and jaw-jacks with Kidd.  2 minutes later, Tyson submits to the Anaconda Vice.

After the match, Tyson Kidd challenges Malo Leche de Mantequilla to a match at the PPV.  Malo appears to accept.

Master Bull comes out and calls Punk back to the ring.  He says that Punk had it way too easy and the fans want to see a “better” match.  He then brings out Christian.  Punk is complaining but eventually gets in the ring.  For 14 minutes, the champ held his challenger at bay.  All of a sudden, out of nowhere, Christian nails the Unprettier and makes the cover.  He gets the 1-2-3.  Christian has just won the Internet Media title.  Punk is all kinds of pissed off.  He takes a mic “You apparently don’t want me around so I am out of here”.  Punk drops the mic and walks out much to the confusion of the fans and Christian.

The Women’s Champion Gail Kim came out for her match against Fusion Valentine.  The match goes on for 8 minutes with Gail getting the pin aftger hitting a Toronto Slam.

The main event was the Shield defending their newly acquired “spot” against Hardly Predictable with the winner a lock for a title match at the PPV.  There was definitely some dissention amongst the ranks.  Dean Ambrose came out first followed by Rollins and Reigns.  Ambrose jumps in the ring first to start off against Medley.  For the first minute, all 6 men were brawling in the ring until the ref restored some order.  Ambrose hits a headbutt and Medley hits a shoulder tackle.  Reigns wants to tag in but Ambrose refuses.  Medley winds up and nails a power punch and Ambrose goes down.  Medley looks at Reigns and Rollins who hop off the apron.  Medley makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Hardly Predictable are going to the PPV to take on Prestige Inc for the 6 man titles.

That is all for now.  Stay tuned for the next show.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 02.01

Hello fans and welcome back to our first February posting.  In this issue, we will recap the house show that took place in Boise, ID.

Jerking the curtain is Malo Leche de Mantequilla taking on Tyson Kidd.  In 15 minutes, Tyson Kidd takes out Malo Leche with headlock kneelifts.  After the match, Malo Leche blasts Kidd with a steel chair knocking him out.

Next up is Kevin Steen taking on Joseph Park.  In 13 minutes, Kevin Steen gets a win after hitting Park with a No Hands Enzuigiri.

The next match was the shortest of the night with Professor Cobra getting a countout win over Rob Terry in 2 minutes.  Terry thought the Professor was beneath him and he walked out of the match.

Bran-Don-Goh comes out and says he wants to fight someone in the ring.  Out comes Robbie E.  In 12 minutes, Bran-Don-Goh gets the win after locking in a stepover toehold facelock and Robbie E taps out.

In tag team action, Cody Rhodes and Goldust took on 2 members of the Shield – Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.  It was interesting to note that Roman Reigns did not accompany his partners down to the ring.  In only 8 minutes, Rhodes and Goldust get the win after Goldust planted Rollins with a DDT and got the 1-2-3.

Our next match is another tag team match with the Prime Time Players taking on Big E. Langston and Ezekiel Jackson.  Not sure what was going on but it seemed that Darren Young was hurt.  Titus O’Neil ended up wrestling the entire match although Darren jumped in for the occasional save.  In 19 minutes, Big E and Ezekiel get the win after Ezekiel puts Titus down with a double elbow smash.

The Omegatron starts to flash and then it reads “The Mexicali Flyers are coming home.  Stay Tuned”

Next, Ravishing Raquel took on Alicia Fox in a non-title match.  In a 24 minute fight, Alicia Fox nails Raquel with a scissors kick and a quick hook of the tights and feet on the ropes, she pinned the Diva’s champion.  After the match, Raquel drops Alicia with a Rothchild Stunner.  Alicia Fox is the number one contender for the Diva’s title.

In the back, Master Bull was addressing some of the 3 man tag teams.  Present were the A-Team, Bran-Don-Goh/the Axe/Casey Jones, Prestige Inc and 3MB.  He said that the matches were all pretty short so far so he wanted a mini tournament.

Just before the 30 minute bell could ring, the A-Team defeated Prestige Inc.

The next match has 3MB defeating the team of The Axe, Casey Jones and Bran-Don-Goh.

In the finals, the A-team defeats 3MB to win the mini tournament.

In the main event, the remaining member of the Shield Roman Reigns takes on Dolph Ziggler.  The match only goes for 4 minutes and ends after Reigns clotheslines Ziggler out of the ring.  He lands awkwardly on the floor and gets counted out.

February marks our first PPV of the year Warzone: Battlefield of Pain.  As we get closer to the date, the matches should be shaping up.

Before the cameras stop rolling, we see a beatdown going on in the back.  Apparently Brock Lesnar has attacked World and Undisputed Champion Kane.  Lesnar is hollering for his title shot.  I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens.  Stay Tuned.
