Sam
Duffy:
Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW
Wrestling Newsletter! We are coming to you live tonight for HCW Voltage, and
folks, we are just 11 days away from Critical Mass!
Rick
Granger:
Days away, Sam… and you can feel it. This isn’t speculation anymore — this is
where things start getting locked in. Careers, contracts, and in some cases…
people’s futures in HCW.
Sam
Duffy:
We’ve got major developments expected tonight — including the official
announcement of a match that has been building for weeks now between Aurora
Storm and Ashley Summers.
Rick
Granger:
Oh, I’m looking forward to that one. Ashley didn’t “cost” Aurora anything — she
took what should’ve been hers to begin with. That’s not controversy… that’s
instinct.
Sam
Duffy:
We’ll also see the final spot decided in the Convergent Championship Fatal
4-Way match, as Clover Fincastle goes one-on-one with Hell’s Fang – The
Morningstar.
Rick
Granger:
And if you think that’s just another match, you haven’t been paying attention.
That’s Dominion territory, Sam. You step in there with The Morningstar… you
don’t walk out the same.
Sam
Duffy:
Plus, the tag team division continues to heat up tonight as Ovaltine Jackson
and Ghee Buttersnaps battle Burley and O.P. Cunningham for a shot at the World
Tag Team Titles.
Rick
Granger:
And waiting on the other side? The Samoan Bloodline. Not a team I’d be in a
hurry to meet, but somebody’s got to do it.
Sam
Duffy:
We’ll also hear from The Rich Athlete and his manager Ruth Heartless as
questions continue to surround the Television Championship heading into
Critical Mass.
Rick
Granger:
Questions? No, no — there’s only one question, Sam… and that’s whether anyone
in this company actually has the authority to make Rich Athlete do anything.
Sam
Duffy:
And in our main event tonight — a non-title collision as Steel Justice takes on
The Nightstalkers, with Count Vlad lurking in their corner.
Rick
Granger:
Now that… that’s a main event. That’s power versus power. And with Vlad
involved, you know this isn’t ending clean.
Sam
Duffy:
Folks, it’s all ahead of us tonight — tensions rising, rivalries intensifying,
and Critical Mass looming closer with every passing moment!
Rick
Granger:
Strap in, Sam… because tonight, things start getting serious.
Sam
Duffy:
Let’s get right to it!
Aurora
Storm’s music hits.
The crowd
reacts immediately as Aurora Storm steps onto the stage, her expression intense
and focused. There’s no celebration, no playing to the crowd—she’s all business
tonight.
Rick
Granger:
“Well here we go… I don’t think she’s out here to talk about the weather.”
Aurora
makes her way to the ring with purpose, not breaking stride, eyes locked
forward. She slides into the ring and immediately calls for a microphone,
pacing as the crowd continues to buzz.
Sam
Duffy:
“Aurora Storm has been waiting for this moment, Rick. Weeks of frustration,
weeks of tension—and it all comes to a head tonight.”
Aurora
raises the mic, ready to speak—
Ashley
Summers’ music hits.
The crowd
reaction shifts instantly as Ashley Summers appears at the top of the stage,
wearing a confident smirk as she looks down toward the ring.
Rick
Granger:
“And there’s the woman who changed everything.”
Ashley
doesn’t rush. She takes her time, soaking in the moment, clearly enjoying the
reaction as Aurora stands in the ring, visibly irritated.
Sam
Duffy:
“You can see it on Aurora’s face—she wanted answers, and she’s about to get
them.”
Ashley
slowly makes her way down the ramp, never taking her eyes off Aurora. She steps
into the ring, microphone already in hand, and the two stand face-to-face as
the tension immediately fills the arena.
Rick
Granger:
“Oh yeah… this is about to get interesting.”
The crowd
noise swells as both women stare each other down—
Standing
just off to the side is Tony Calibur, holding a clipboard with the
official contract attached, maintaining a professional posture as the tension
builds.
Sam
Duffy:
“And you can see it right there—this isn’t just a confrontation. This is
official.”
Rick
Granger:
“Contract in hand, Sam. No excuses, no backing out—exactly how it should be
done.”
Aurora
steps forward, raising her microphone first, not waiting a second longer.
Aurora
Storm:
“Ashley… for weeks now, you’ve inserted yourself into my business… into my
opportunities… into my moment.”
The crowd
reacts as Aurora points directly at her.
Aurora
Storm:
“You didn’t take anything that belonged to you… you stole something that I
earned.”
Ashley
smirks, unfazed, slowly lifting her mic.
Ashley
Summers:
“No… I didn’t steal anything.”
(beat)
Ashley
Summers:
“I took what should’ve been mine in the first place.”
A mixed
reaction from the crowd.
Rick
Granger:
“Tell me where she’s wrong, Sam.”
Aurora
steps closer, clearly losing patience.
Aurora
Storm:
“You didn’t earn your way into that match—you forced your way in because you
couldn’t stand being left out!”
Ashley
lets out a small laugh, shaking her head.
Ashley
Summers:
“I don’t wait for opportunities, Aurora… I create them.”
She steps
in, now nearly nose-to-nose.
Ashley
Summers:
“And if that bothers you… maybe you’re just not built for this level.”
The crowd
reacts loudly as Aurora clenches her jaw, taking a step forward—
Tony
Calibur subtly steps between them, holding the contract up slightly, trying to
keep things from boiling over.
Sam
Duffy:
“Things are getting heated in a hurry here—”
Aurora
takes a breath, regaining just enough control to shift focus.
Aurora
Storm:
“You want to prove you belong in my ring?”
(beat)
Aurora
Storm:
“Then sign the contract.”
The crowd
pops as Aurora turns and gestures toward Tony Calibur.
Ashley
doesn’t move right away. She looks out at the crowd, then back at Aurora… and
smiles.
Rick
Granger:
“She already knows how this ends.”
Ashley
takes the clipboard from Tony Calibur and looks over the contract for a
moment—almost mockingly—before signing it with confidence.
She hands
it back… but doesn’t step away.
Aurora
immediately takes the clipboard, not even glancing at it before signing her
name with force.
Tony
Calibur takes the contract back, stepping away as the two women remain
face-to-face.
Sam
Duffy:
“It’s official!”
Aurora
lowers her mic slightly—
Aurora
Storm:
“At Critical Mass… there’s nowhere left to run.”
Ashley
tilts her head slightly, smirking.
Ashley
Summers:
“Run?”
(beat)
Ashley
Summers:
“I’ll be standing right where I’ve always been… ahead of you.”
That’s
enough.
Aurora
steps forward—
Ashley
meets her—
The two
collide in a sudden shove—
Officials
rush the ring immediately, separating them before it turns into a full fight.
Rick
Granger:
“And here we go!”
Aurora
tries to break through as Ashley shouts back at her, both being held apart as
the crowd roars.
Sam
Duffy:
“This is exactly what Critical Mass is going to look like!”
The camera
lingers on both women being held apart, still jawing at each other—
#1
Contender Match – World Tag Team Titles
The camera
cuts from the chaotic opening segment to a wide shot of the ring as officials
clear out the last remnants of the Aurora/Ashley confrontation. The crowd is
still buzzing as the energy transitions smoothly into the first match of the
night.
Sam
Duffy:
“Well, if that’s how we’re starting the night, I don’t know how it gets any
bigger from here—but we’re about to find out.”
Rick
Granger:
“Oh, it gets bigger, Sam. Because now we’re talking about the World Tag Team
Titles… and who’s next in line.”
The crowd
responds warmly as Burley Barkley steps out onto the stage, nodding with
a focused expression, followed closely by O.P. Cunningham of Mayberry, NC,
who gives a quick wave before locking in.
Sam
Duffy:
“And here comes a team that has been building momentum quietly but
effectively—Burley Barkley and O.P. Cunningham.”
Rick
Granger:
“Don’t let the smiles fool you. Cunningham especially—there’s a toughness there
that people underestimate.”
Burley
leads the way down the ramp with purpose while O.P. acknowledges a few fans,
then quickly refocuses. The two step into the ring, exchanging a quick nod as
they prepare for the opportunity in front of them.
The energy
shifts instantly as the crowd pops louder. Ovaltine Jackson bursts onto
the stage with charisma, while Ghee Buttersnaps follows with his
signature confidence, both clearly feeding off the crowd.
Sam
Duffy:
“And listen to this reaction! Ovaltine Jackson and Ghee Buttersnaps have become
one of the most exciting teams in HCW today!”
Rick
Granger:
“They’ve got energy, I’ll give them that—but energy doesn’t win you a match
like this. Discipline does.”
Ovaltine
slaps hands with fans along the ramp while Ghee points toward the ring, hyping
up the moment. The two slide into the ring with confidence, Ovaltine bouncing
on the ropes while Ghee paces, ready to go.
The
referee steps between both teams as they take their respective corners, the
crowd building in anticipation.
Sam
Duffy:
“Number one contendership on the line—this is a huge opportunity for both of
these teams!”
Rick
Granger:
“And somewhere in the back, the Samoan Bloodline is watching this very
closely.”
The teams
stare each other down across the ring—
The bell
rings.
The bell
rings and both teams come out aggressive, knowing exactly what’s at stake. Ghee
Buttersnaps and Burley Barkley start things off with a fast exchange, each man
landing early offense before quickly tagging out to keep the pace high.
Ovaltine
Jackson enters and immediately shifts momentum, teaming with Ghee to string
together quick double-team offense, including a sharp sit-out slam and
follow-up strikes that force Burley to cover up.
Sam
Duffy:
“Great teamwork early from Ovaltine and Ghee—this is exactly what you need in a
match like this!”
Rick
Granger:
“Or it’s just a lot of flash, Sam. Let’s see if they can keep it up.”
Burley
fights back with power, dropping Ovaltine with a towering suplex that shakes
the ring before bringing in O.P. Cunningham.
From
there, the match settles into a competitive rhythm. Ovaltine regains control
with a spinebuster and a near fall, but Cunningham answers with heavy offense
of his own, including a running splash and stiff clotheslines that slow the
pace.
Rick
Granger:
“That’s where Cunningham is dangerous. He doesn’t need speed—he just needs one
opening.”
Ghee tags
back in and the tempo rises again. He and Ovaltine work quick tags and
double-team sequences, keeping Cunningham isolated for stretches, but Burley
repeatedly breaks things up and keeps his team alive.
Midway
through, Burley and Cunningham flip the script with their own double-team
sequence, using strength and positioning to wear Ghee down and take control of
the match.
Sam
Duffy:
“Now it’s Burley and Cunningham working together—this has turned into a true
tag team battle!”
The match
becomes a back-and-forth war, with both teams trading control. Ovaltine hits a
powerslam for a close two-count, Ghee nearly steals it with a quick pin
attempt, and Burley answers with another crushing suplex that keeps things
even.
Late in
the match, chaos starts to build. Ghee absorbs punishment but refuses to stay
down, while Ovaltine dives in to break up a near fall that could have ended it.
Sam
Duffy:
“How close was that?! This match could end at any moment!”
The final
sequence sees Ovaltine and Ghee regain control with a sharp double-team
combination, wearing Burley down just enough to create an opening.
Ghee locks
in a tight side chinlock, wrenching it in with everything he has—
Burley
fights… reaches… tries to power out—
But he’s
fading.
Ghee turns
it into a pin—
And the
ref counts 1…2…3..
🏁 RESULT
Ghee
Buttersnaps wins via pinfall (Side Chinlock wear down)
Ovaltine Jackson & Ghee Buttersnaps are the #1 Contenders to the World
Tag Team Titles
Rick
Granger:
“I don’t believe it—he got pinned from a chinlock! That has to be a new low! HA HA!”
Sam
Duffy:
“Regardless…what a win! What a statement from Ovaltine Jackson and Ghee
Buttersnaps!”
Ovaltine
helps Ghee to his feet as the crowd cheers loudly. The two celebrate in the
ring, clearly knowing what this moment means.
Suddenly—
The camera
cuts to the stage.
The
Samoan Bloodline
step out.
No music.
No rush.
Just
presence.
They stand
at the top of the ramp, staring down at the new challengers.
Inside the
ring, Ovaltine and Ghee stop celebrating and turn to face them.
No words.
Just a
silent understanding.
Sam
Duffy:
“And there they are… the World Tag Team Champions.”
Rick
Granger:
“Enjoy the moment, boys… because that’s what’s waiting for you at Critical
Mass.”
The camera
lingers on the staredown—
Champions
on the stage… challengers in the ring…
Collision
coming at Critical Mass.
The camera
cuts backstage to a well-lit interview area as The Rich Athlete stands
front and center, already mid-conversation with Ruth Heartless at his
side. Rich is dressed to impress, Television Championship draped over his
shoulder, completely at ease.
The
Rich Athlete:
“Let’s be honest… what you’re looking at right now is the most valuable asset
in this entire company.”
He adjusts
the title slightly, smirking.
The
Rich Athlete:
“And yet, week after week, people keep asking the same tired question—‘When are
you going to defend it?’”
He
chuckles, shaking his head.
The
Rich Athlete:
“I don’t answer to desperate challengers. I don’t answer to locker room noise…
and I certainly don’t answer to people who haven’t earned the right to share
the ring with me.”
Ruth steps
forward slightly, composed and calculated.
Ruth
Heartless:
“And more importantly… The Rich Athlete operates within the boundaries of what
is required of him—not what is demanded of him.”
That line
hangs for a moment—very intentional.
Before
anything else can be said—
Max
McGillicutty steps into frame.
The tone
immediately shifts.
Sam
Duffy:
“Well, speak of the devil…”
Max
doesn’t look amused. He steps in calmly, hands at his sides, eyes locked on
Rich.
Max
McGillicutty:
“You’re still talking about requirements.”
(beat)
Max
McGillicutty:
“You’re still trying to find ways around doing your job.”
Rich tilts
his head slightly, amused more than offended.
The
Rich Athlete:
“My job… is being the best thing this company has going. I’d say I’ve been
doing that just fine.”
Ruth folds
her hands in front of her.
Ruth
Heartless:
“If there is a concern, Max… we’re more than willing to review the language and
expectations surrounding the championship.”
Another
subtle hint.
Max nods
once… almost like he expected that.
Max
McGillicutty:
“Oh, I’m sure you’ve reviewed it.”
(beat)
He steps a
little closer.
Max
McGillicutty:
“You can stall… you can posture… you can hide behind whatever language you
think protects you…”
Rich’s
smirk fades just slightly.
Max
McGillicutty:
“But this ends soon.”
Silence.
No
yelling. No overreaction.
Just
certainty.
Rich
slowly smiles again, regaining his confidence.
The
Rich Athlete:
“I’ll look forward to seeing how you plan to make that happen.”
Ruth gives
Max a polite, almost knowing nod.
Ruth
Heartless:
“We always do appreciate your… attention to detail.”
Max
doesn’t respond.
He simply
watches as the two of them turn and walk off, clearly believing they’re still
in control.
The camera
lingers on Max for a moment—
calm…
thinking… already a step ahead.
Rick
Granger:
“I don’t like that look, Sam.”
Sam
Duffy:
“I think Rich Athlete and Ruth Heartless may be playing a dangerous game here…”
The camera
returns to the arena as the lights dim slightly, the energy shifting from
anticipation to something more focused and serious.
Sam
Duffy:
“We are about to determine the final entrant into the Convergent Championship
Fatal 4-Way at Critical Mass… and this is a massive opportunity for both of
these competitors.”
Rick
Granger:
“Opportunity, sure… but let’s not pretend this is an even playing field. One of
these men walks in alone… the other walks in with him.”
The crowd
responds positively as Clover Fincastle steps out onto the stage,
focused but energized, taking a quick look around before locking in on the
ring.
Sam
Duffy:
“And here comes Clover Fincastle—this is a man who has fought his way into this
opportunity, and tonight could be the biggest moment of his career.”
Rick
Granger:
“And it might also be the most painful, Sam. Because standing across from him
is something very different.”
Clover
heads down the ramp with purpose, slapping a few hands but never losing focus.
He slides into the ring and immediately begins loosening up, eyes locked toward
the stage, ready for what’s coming.
The arena
lights dim further.
A low,
ominous tone fills the air.
Then—
Hell’s
Fang – The Morningstar’s music hits.
The
reaction shifts instantly.
Count
Vlad emerges
first.
Slow.
Deliberate.
Eyes
scanning the arena like he already owns it.
Behind
him… Hell’s Fang – The Morningstar steps out.
Still.
Silent. Dangerous.
Rick
Granger:
“Yeah… that changes things.”
Sam
Duffy:
“And with Count Vlad at ringside, you have to wonder what kind of influence we
may see in this match.”
Vlad
begins the walk down the ramp, hands calmly folded behind his back, while
Morningstar follows just a step behind—never taking his eyes off Clover in the
ring.
The
contrast is clear:
- Clover: focused, ready,
determined
- Morningstar: cold, calculated,
inevitable
They reach
the ring.
Vlad stops
at ringside.
Morningstar
steps onto the apron… pauses…
Then
enters the ring slowly.
He stands
across from Clover.
No
expression.
No
movement.
Just
presence.
The
referee checks both competitors as the crowd builds.
Sam
Duffy:
“One spot left… and it comes down to this.”
Rick
Granger:
“Clover wanted the opportunity… now he’s got it. Let’s see if he survives it.”
The two
men lock eyes across the ring—
Convergent
Championship Qualifier
The bell
rings and Clover Fincastle wastes no time, taking the fight directly to Hell’s
Fang – The Morningstar with a burst of early offense that catches the Dominion
powerhouse off guard. An inverted exploder sends Morningstar down hard, and
Clover follows it up immediately with a crisp German suplex, keeping the
pressure on and forcing Morningstar to absorb far more punishment than expected
in the opening moments.
At
ringside, Count Vlad watches with quiet intensity, offering subtle direction as
Morningstar begins to steady himself. The shift is immediate once Morningstar
regains his footing, cutting Clover off with a brutal half nelson choke before
driving him into the mat with a crushing Death Valley Driver that swings the
momentum just as quickly as Clover had gained it.
Sam
Duffy:
“And just like that, Morningstar has turned this around!”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s what makes him dangerous—he doesn’t need time, he just needs one
opening.”
As
Morningstar begins to take control, the crowd suddenly comes alive, drawing
attention to the stage where Zack Brown has appeared. There’s no music, no
announcement—just the World Champion standing there, locked in on his upcoming
challenger. Morningstar notices, his focus shifting for just a brief moment as
their eyes meet across the arena.
Sam
Duffy:
“What is Zack Brown doing out here?!”
Rick
Granger:
“He’s trying to play games, Sam—and this isn’t his fight!”
That
moment is all it takes. Clover reacts instantly, dragging Morningstar down and
locking in the Shining Triangle Choke before he can fully recover. The hold is
applied tightly, cutting off any chance of escape as Morningstar tries to power
his way out, but the sudden shift in momentum proves too much.
Sam
Duffy:
“He’s got it locked in! Clover’s got it!”
Morningstar
struggles, but there’s nowhere to go. The referee steps in and calls for the
bell as Clover secures the submission victory, stunning the crowd.
Sam
Duffy:
“He tapped! Clover Fincastle has done it!”
Clover
releases the hold and rolls back, taking a moment to realize what he’s just
accomplished before getting to his feet as the crowd reacts loudly.
Rick
Granger:
“I don’t like this at all—Zack Brown had no business being out here!”
Clover
celebrates his hard-fought victory, but the camera lingers on Morningstar as he
slowly rises, his attention immediately shifting back toward the stage. Zack
Brown hasn’t moved, still standing there, staring down at the ring with the
same cold focus he arrived with.
Sam
Duffy:
“That wasn’t about helping Clover—that was about sending a message.”
Rick
Granger:
“Oh, it was a message… and I guarantee you Morningstar won’t forget it.”
At
ringside, Count Vlad remains composed, watching the exchange with interest as
the tension between champion and challenger quietly intensifies ahead of
Critical Mass.
The camera
cuts back to the arena where a table has already been set up in the center of
the ring, two chairs on opposite sides and a clipboard resting neatly on top.
The crowd buzzes, knowing something important is about to unfold.
Max
McGillicutty’s music hits.
The
General Manager walks out with purpose, no theatrics, and makes his way to the
ring as the tone immediately shifts.
Sam
Duffy:
“This is going to be big, Rick. You don’t bring the table out unless something
serious is about to happen.”
Rick
Granger:
“Oh, this is serious, Sam. This is where things stop being talk… and start
becoming permanent.”
Max steps
into the ring, taking a microphone as he looks out at the crowd before glancing
down at the contract on the table.
Max
McGillicutty:
“At Critical Mass… this ends.”
That line
hangs for a moment before he continues.
Max
McGillicutty:
“No more interference. No more cheap shots. No more running.”
(beat)
Max
McGillicutty:
“Because at Critical Mass, it will be La Famiglia Marconi… versus the Albano
Family…”
(another
beat)
Max
McGillicutty:
“…and the losing side…”
He looks
up.
Max
McGillicutty:
“…leaves town.”
The crowd
erupts.
Sam
Duffy:
“Loser Leaves Town! That’s it—this rivalry will finally come to an end!”
Rick
Granger:
“Or somebody’s career in HCW comes to an end, Sam. That’s what this really
means.”
The
Albano Family’s music hits.
Out comes Pierre
Boulay, flanked by Dirty Dick Albano and Vicious Vinnie Albano,
all with smug confidence as they make their way to the ring.
Pierre is
already holding a pair of glasses, adjusting them as they step inside.
Rick
Granger:
“Now this… this is a group that understands leverage.”
The
Albanos take their side of the table, but Pierre doesn’t sit. Instead, he
calmly picks up the clipboard and begins scanning the contract.
Slowly.
Deliberately.
The crowd
immediately starts to boo.
Sam
Duffy:
“Oh come on…”
Pierre
raises a finger slightly, asking for patience as he continues reading line by
line.
He adjusts
his glasses.
Flips the
page.
Reads
again.
The boos
grow louder.
Rick
Granger:
“Let the man do his job, Sam. Details matter.”
Pierre
finally lowers the clipboard just slightly.
Pierre
Boulay:
“As always, we appreciate… clarity.”
He glances
at Max.
Pierre
Boulay:
“…and we will ensure every clause is… properly understood.”
He
continues reading.
La
Famiglia Marconi’s music hits.
The crowd
erupts as Dominic Marconi and Rolf Marconi step onto the stage.
No posing.
No delay.
Just
intensity.
Sam
Duffy:
“And here they come—La Famiglia Marconi!”
Dominic
leads the way down the ramp, eyes locked on the ring, while Rolf stays just a
step behind him, equally focused.
Inside the
ring, Pierre finally looks up as the Marconis enter.
The
tension is immediate.
Dominic
doesn’t sit. He steps right up to the table, staring across at the Albanos.
Dominic
Marconi:
“You done reading… or you looking for another excuse?”
The crowd
reacts as Pierre slowly smiles.
Pierre
Boulay:
“Patience… is not your strength, Dominic.”
Dominic
leans in.
Dominic
Marconi:
“No… but finishing things is.”
Rolf
places a hand lightly on Dominic’s shoulder, keeping him grounded—for now.
Pierre
finally sets the clipboard down.
Pierre
Boulay:
“We accept.”
He
gestures to Dick Albano, who signs first, followed by Vinnie, both doing so
with arrogant confidence.
Pierre
takes the clipboard… and presents it across the table.
Dominic
doesn’t hesitate.
He grabs
it, signs immediately, then hands it to Rolf, who does the same without a
second thought.
Sam
Duffy:
“It’s official! Loser Leaves Town at Critical Mass!”
The moment
the contract is signed, the tension explodes.
Dominic
shoves the table forward—
Dick fires
back—
Vinnie
jumps in—
Rolf pulls
Dominic back—
and
suddenly—
ALL FOUR
MEN COLLIDE.
Rick
Granger:
“And there it is!”
Dominic
and Dick trade heavy shots in the center of the ring while Rolf and Vinnie
spill into the corner, the tension finally boiling over into a full fight.
Pierre
quickly backs away, shouting instructions as the Albanos begin to take control.
Dick
drives Dominic back toward the table with a hard right hand, stunning him just
long enough for Vinnie to recover and join in. The two close in—
and
together—
they hoist
Dominic up—
AND DRIVE
HIM THROUGH THE TABLE!
The wood
explodes on impact as the crowd erupts.
Sam
Duffy:
“Dominic Marconi just got driven through the table!”
Rolf
charges in immediately, trying to even the odds, but he’s met head-on by both
Albanos. Dick catches him with a shot to the midsection, Vinnie hooks him—
and they
lift him up as well—
AND SLAM
ROLF THROUGH THE REMAINING TABLE DEBRIS!
Sam
Duffy:
“Not again! Rolf just got planted through what was left of that table!”
Rick
Granger:
“Now that’s how you make a statement!”
Chaos
erupts as Dominic tries to pull himself up through the wreckage, refusing to
stay down, while Rolf rolls to the side, clutching his back.
Security
floods the ring as officials swarm in, trying to separate everyone before
things get even worse.
Pierre
stands off to the side now, composed once again, a satisfied look crossing his
face as he watches the damage unfold.
Dick is
shouting across the ring, pointing down at the fallen Marconis, while Vinnie
paces, fired up, daring them to get back up.
Rick
Granger:
“This is exactly what Critical Mass is going to look like!”
Security
forces the Albanos back toward the ropes as additional officials help Dominic
and Rolf, who are still trying to fight through the pain just to get at them.
The crowd
roars as both sides are pulled apart and forced toward opposite sides of the
ring and eventually up the ramp.
The damage
is done.
The
message is clear.
The camera
lingers on the broken table in the ring… splintered wood scattered across the
mat… a violent preview of what’s to come.
Sam
Duffy:
“There is no going back now.”
The camera
returns to the ring as officials quickly clear away the last pieces of broken
table, the aftermath of the previous segment still fresh in the minds of
everyone in the arena.
Sam
Duffy:
“I don’t think anyone in this building is going to forget what we just saw any
time soon.”
Rick
Granger:
“They shouldn’t, Sam. That’s what happens when things get personal—and tonight,
that’s exactly what we’re dealing with.”
The
reaction immediately shifts as Mr. X steps out onto the stage, calm,
composed, and completely unfazed by the chaos that just unfolded. He pauses
briefly, scanning the ring before making his way down with a deliberate,
methodical pace.
Sam
Duffy:
“And now here comes Mr. X, a man who always seems to thrive in situations like
this.”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s because he stays focused, Sam. No distractions, no emotions—just
results.”
Mr. X
enters the ring and removes his jacket, taking his time as he prepares, eyes
locked toward the entrance, waiting for his opponent.
The crowd
responds strongly as Lou Albano III bursts onto the stage with energy,
clearly fired up. There’s a sense of urgency in his movement, fueled by
everything that just happened to his family.
Sam
Duffy:
“And listen to this reaction! Lou Albano III has to be running on pure emotion
right now after what we just witnessed!”
Rick
Granger:
“Emotion can be dangerous, Sam—especially against someone like Mr. X.”
Lou
doesn’t waste time. He heads straight down the ramp, jaw set, eyes focused on
the ring. As he slides in, he immediately pops up and locks eyes with Mr. X,
the intensity clear.
The
referee steps between them briefly as both men take their corners, but neither
looks away.
Sam
Duffy:
“Lou Albano III looking to make a statement here tonight!”
Rick
Granger:
“And Mr. X looking to take advantage of every bit of that emotion.”
The
tension hangs in the air—
The bell
rings.
The match
begins at a fast pace with both men coming out aggressive, Lou Albano III using
his strength early to drive Mr. X back with a backbreaker and heavy forearms,
looking to take control off momentum from everything that just unfolded with
his family.
Mr. X
answers quickly, staying composed and methodical as he begins targeting Lou
with sharp strikes and kicks, including a series of precise barefoot shots that
slow Lou down and shift the tempo in his favor.
Sam
Duffy:
“Lou Albano III came in fired up, but Mr. X is doing a great job taking that
emotion and turning it against him!”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s the difference, Sam. Mr. X isn’t fighting angry—he’s fighting smart.”
Lou
continues to push forward, mixing in ground offense and submissions, even
locking in an abdominal stretch that has Mr. X in trouble for a moment, but Mr.
X refuses to give in and quickly creates separation before reestablishing
control with more calculated strikes.
As the
match wears on, the back-and-forth battle starts to favor Mr. X, who
consistently finds openings to land clean offense while Lou begins to show the
effects of both the match and the earlier chaos in the night.
The crowd
suddenly reacts as a familiar presence appears on the stage—
Caleb
Wilde.
He doesn’t
say a word.
He doesn’t
move toward the ring.
He simply
stands there, watching.
Mr. X
notices.
Just for a
moment, his attention shifts toward the stage.
Sam
Duffy:
“Caleb Wilde is out here now!”
Rick
Granger:
“Stay focused! This is not the time for distractions!”
Lou tries
to capitalize, pressing forward with another burst of offense, but Mr. X
recovers quickly, shaking off the moment and catching Lou as he steps in.
A sharp
strike.
A clean
opening.
And then—
Mr. X
unloads with a decisive Martial Arts combination, dropping Lou to the mat.
Sam
Duffy:
“That could do it!”
Mr. X
hooks the leg—
1…
2…
3.
RESULT
Mr. X
defeats Lou Albano III via pinfall
Rick
Granger:
“That’s what I’m talking about! You give Mr. X an opening, and he takes it!”
Sam
Duffy:
“Lou gave it everything he had, but Mr. X capitalized when it mattered most!”
Mr. X
rolls off and rises to his feet, glancing briefly back toward the stage where
Caleb Wilde still stands, the two locking eyes for just a moment before Mr. X
exits the ring without another word.
But the
moment doesn’t end there.
As Lou
begins to pull himself up—
No
music.
Just
movement.
Tony
and Sal Albano hit the ring from behind.
They jump
Lou immediately, stomping him down before he can react, continuing the assault
as the crowd erupts in boos.
Sam
Duffy:
“Come on! This is completely uncalled for!”
Rick
Granger:
“He knew what he was getting into, Sam!”
Tony and
Sal drag Lou up and continue the attack, driving him back into the corner,
overwhelming him with numbers.
And then—
Tony
Ricca’s music hits.
The crowd
pops as Tony Ricca sprints down the ramp.
He slides
into the ring—
and
immediately goes after both men, firing off shots and forcing Tony and Sal to
back off.
The
Albanos retreat toward the ropes, regrouping as Ricca stands his ground beside
Lou, helping him back to his feet.
Sam
Duffy:
“Tony Ricca making the save just in time!”
Rick
Granger:
“Oh, this is far from over.”
Tony and
Sal glare from the outside, shouting back into the ring as Ricca and Lou stand
side by side, the message now clear.
Two
battles have just been set in motion.
The camera
returns to the ring as the lights dim slightly, the energy in the arena
shifting into something more focused. There’s a brief pause—just enough to let
the anticipation build.
Then—
Korbi Kong’s music hits.
The crowd explodes
as Korbi Kong steps onto the stage, composed and deliberate, carrying herself
with quiet authority. She doesn’t play to the crowd—she simply walks forward
like she already knows what comes next.
Sam
Duffy:
“And now here comes Korbi Kong… and you have to believe this is about the
Heritage Women’s Championship.”
Rick
Granger:
“Grizelda’s been running through this division, Sam… but this might be the
first real threat to that dominance.”
Korbi
makes her way down the ramp, never breaking focus, and steps into the ring. A
microphone is handed to her as the crowd settles.
She
doesn’t speak right away.
She lets
the moment sit.
Then—
Korbi
Kong:
“For weeks… I’ve listened.”
A pause as
she looks out across the arena.
Korbi
Kong:
“I’ve listened to the noise… the speculation… the questions.”
(beat)
Korbi
Kong:
“When… is Korbi Kong going to make her move?”
A slight
tilt of the head.
Korbi
Kong:
“You don’t ask when I move.”
Another
pause.
Korbi
Kong:
“I decide when everything changes.”
The crowd
reacts.
Rick
Granger:
“That’s confidence, Sam. That’s real confidence.”
Korbi
takes a step forward, her voice still calm, controlled.
Korbi
Kong:
“And I’ve decided.”
(beat)
Korbi
Kong:
“At Critical Mass… I challenge for the Heritage Women’s Championship. Now, you may already know this but hey…why
not let the WORLD know, right!”
The crowd
pops.
Sam
Duffy:
“She’s made it official!”
Korbi
doesn’t react to the noise. She continues.
Korbi
Kong:
“Grizelda…”
She lets
the name linger.
Korbi
Kong:
“You’ve ruled this division. You’ve made it yours…both as the Dominion’s
Empress and the Heritage Women’s Champion.”
(beat)
Korbi
Kong:
“But you’ve never had to prove it against me.”
A step
closer to the camera.
Korbi
Kong:
“And at Critical Mass… you will.”
The
tension builds as she lowers the mic slightly.
Korbi
Kong:
“You don’t lose that championship because of timing…”
(beat)
Korbi
Kong:
“You lose it… because I take it.”
She drops
the mic.
No
celebration.
No
theatrics.
Just a
calm, unwavering stare.
Rick
Granger:
“That didn’t sound like a challenge… that sounded like a warning.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Grizelda has dominated everyone put in front of her—but Korbi Kong may be the
one competitor who isn’t intimidated.”
Korbi
turns and exits the ring just as deliberately as she entered, leaving the
weight of her words hanging over the arena.
The camera
returns to the arena as the ring is reset, the energy still lingering from the
previous chaos but settling into anticipation for the next contest.
Sam
Duffy:
“We’ve got a big tag team match coming up next in the women’s division, and
after everything we’ve seen tonight, this one could go in any direction.”
Rick
Granger:
“And don’t forget, Sam—there’s already tension surrounding this match before it
even starts.”
Lavender
Gooms & Leslie Grimes’ music hits.
The crowd
responds positively as Lavender Gooms steps onto the stage, focused and
ready, with Leslie Grimes right behind her, equally locked in.
Sam
Duffy:
“And here come Lavender Gooms and Leslie Grimes—two competitors who have been
looking to make a statement in this division.”
Rick
Granger:
“They’ve got an opportunity tonight, but they’re stepping in with a team that
knows how to control the spotlight.”
Lavender
leads the way down the ramp, high-energy but focused, while Leslie stays
composed, scanning the ring. The two slide in and take their corner, exchanging
a quick nod as they prepare for the challenge ahead.
The All
American Sweethearts’ music hits.
The tone
shifts immediately as Ainsley America and Leepurty Belle burst
onto the stage in full spectacle—pyro flashes, dramatic flair, and exaggerated
confidence as they soak in the reaction.
Sam
Duffy:
“And here come The All American Sweethearts—never short on confidence, and
never short on making an entrance.”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s what stars do, Sam. They make sure everyone’s paying attention.”
Ainsley
salutes dramatically while Leepurty twirls with theatrical flair, both clearly
enjoying the moment before making their way down the ramp.
They take
their time getting to the ring, playing to the crowd, before finally stepping
inside and striking one last pose.
Across the
ring, Lavender and Leslie stand ready, unimpressed.
The
referee steps in as both teams take their corners, the contrast between the two
sides clear—flash and attitude versus focus and determination.
Sam
Duffy:
“This should be a great one—two very different teams, two very different
approaches!”
Rick
Granger:
“And only one question matters—who walks out with the momentum?”
The teams
lock eyes across the ring—
Bell
about to ring
The match
begins with Lavender Gooms setting the tone early, using her quickness to
frustrate Ainsley America and immediately put the Sweethearts on the defensive.
A fast hurricanrana and follow-up control keep Lavender one step ahead in the
opening moments, forcing Ainsley to regroup.
The All
American Sweethearts respond the way they always do—by turning things into a
spectacle. Ainsley and Leepurty Belle cut the ring in half and begin working
together, landing flashy double-team combinations that shift momentum and draw
a mix of boos and reactions from the crowd as they show off while staying in
control.
Sam
Duffy:
“They may be over-the-top, but there’s no denying how effective they are as a
team!”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s called confidence, Sam—and they’ve earned it.”
Lavender
refuses to stay down, battling back with submissions and quick counters,
including repeated attempts to lock in the Lavender Lock that force Ainsley to
fight for survival and eventually make the tag to Leepurty Belle.
From
there, the match becomes a true back-and-forth contest. Leslie Grimes gets
involved with bursts of offense, helping keep the pressure on, while AAS
continue to rely on quick tags and coordinated attacks to maintain control
whenever they find an opening.
As the
match passes the midway point, fatigue begins to set in. The pace remains high,
but both teams are now fighting through exhaustion, trading momentum rather
than sustaining it. Near falls start to come into play, including a close call
after a superkick from Leepurty Belle that nearly ends it, only for Lavender to
kick out at the last moment.
Sam
Duffy:
“How close was that?! This match could end at any second!”
Rick
Granger:
“And somehow they keep going—this is what you call pushing your limits!”
Lavender
rallies again late, locking in the Lavender Lock on Leepurty Belle and nearly
forcing a submission, but Belle refuses to tap, surviving just long enough to
keep her team alive as the clock continues to wind down.
The final
moments see both teams empty the tank. Fresh tags are made, and Ainsley and
Leslie collide in the center of the ring, trading strikes as the crowd counts
down the final seconds.
The bell
rings.
Time has
expired.
RESULT
30-Minute
Time Limit Draw
Sam
Duffy:
“They’ve run out of time! This one ends in a draw!”
Rick
Granger:
“Not a loss, Sam—and not a win either. That’s the worst kind of result.”
Both teams
remain in the ring, exhausted, catching their breath with no celebration—just
the understanding that neither side finished the job.
And then—
The
Dominion Vixens’ music hits.
The
reaction shifts instantly.
Selena
Blackfang and Talia Nocturne
storm the ring, targeting The All American Sweethearts without hesitation.
Sam
Duffy:
“Here come the Vixens!”
Ainsley
and Leepurty see them coming—
and
immediately roll out of the ring.
They
retreat up the ramp, laughing and waving mockingly, clearly having no interest
in engaging on the Vixens’ terms.
Rick
Granger:
“Smart. Very smart. Why fight when you don’t have to?”
Inside the
ring, the Vixens seethe, pacing and glaring up the ramp, clearly frustrated
that their opportunity for payback slipped away.
Ainsley
and Leepurty continue backing up the aisle, taunting and smirking as they
escape, leaving the Vixens fuming in the ring.
Sam
Duffy:
“They wanted revenge—but they’re not going to get it that easily!”
Rick
Granger:
“Oh, they’ll get it, Sam. It’s just a matter of when.”
The camera
lingers on the Vixens in the ring… furious… waiting…
as The All
American Sweethearts disappear to the back, having survived—but not
settled—anything.
The camera
cuts backstage to the interview area where Larry Morton stands ready
with a microphone.
The
atmosphere is noticeably different—quieter, more controlled.
Standing
beside him are The Nightstalkers, both men silent and imposing.
Behind
them…
Count
Vlad.
Hands
calmly folded, expression unreadable.
Larry
Morton:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m joined at this time by The Nightstalkers, along with
Count Vlad. Gentlemen, in just moments, you’ll head to the ring for our main
event against Steel Justice—”
Larry
turns slightly toward Vlad.
Larry
Morton:
“—and after everything we’ve seen tonight, the question is simple… what should
we expect?”
Vlad
doesn’t answer immediately.
He studies
Larry for a moment.
Then
slowly steps forward.
Count
Vlad:
“What you should expect…”
A slight
pause.
Count
Vlad:
“…is inevitability.”
The
Nightstalkers remain motionless behind him.
Count
Vlad:
“Steel Justice has spent weeks convincing themselves that they stand as
equals…”
(beat)
Count
Vlad:
“That they belong in the same space… the same ring… the same conversation…”
A faint,
almost amused expression crosses his face.
Count
Vlad:
“They do not.”
Larry
Morton:
“You don’t believe they’re a threat?”
Vlad tilts
his head slightly.
Count
Vlad:
“Oh… they are a threat.”
(beat)
Count
Vlad:
“Every man who steps into that ring is a threat… until he is proven otherwise.”
He takes a
step closer.
Count
Vlad:
“And tonight… they will be proven otherwise.”
The
Nightstalkers step forward slightly, just enough to reinforce the point—silent,
focused, ready.
Count
Vlad:
“They are not walking into a contest…”
(beat)
Count
Vlad:
“They are walking into a lesson.”
Larry
glances briefly at the Nightstalkers, then back to Vlad.
Larry
Morton:
“And what kind of lesson is that?”
Vlad’s
expression hardens just slightly.
Count
Vlad:
“The kind you do not recover from.”
Silence
hangs for a moment.
No
shouting.
No
theatrics.
Just
certainty.
Vlad steps
back, the Nightstalkers turning with him as the three begin to walk off,
leaving Larry standing alone.
Sam
Duffy (voiceover):
“There is a confidence there that you can’t ignore…”
Rick
Granger (voiceover):
“That’s not confidence, Sam—that’s reality.”
The camera
lingers for a moment—
then fades
out.
The camera
returns to the arena as the energy builds once again, the crowd buzzing after
the ominous words from Count Vlad moments ago.
Sam
Duffy:
“And now, it’s time for our main event!”
Rick
Granger:
“And after what we just heard… I wouldn’t want to be Steel Justice right now.”
Steel
Justice’s music hits.
The crowd
erupts as Alex “Skyhawk” Justice and Kellyn “the Raven Archer”
Chrisari step onto the stage, fired up and ready, feeding off the energy of
the audience. They wear their titles
around their waists even though this is a non-title match.
Sam
Duffy:
“And listen to this crowd! Steel Justice has become one of the most respected
teams in HCW today!”
Rick
Granger:
“Respect doesn’t win matches, Sam. Especially not against the Nightstalkers.”
Alex
points toward the ring, hyping the crowd, while Kellyn stays focused, eyes
locked forward. The two make their way down the ramp with purpose, slapping
hands before sliding into the ring and taking their corner.
They don’t
pose long.
They’re
ready.
The
Nightstalkers’ music hits.
The lights
dim.
The
atmosphere shifts.
Count
Vlad steps out
first.
Slow.
Deliberate.
Behind
him…
Bloodfang
Viktor Drakov
and Shadowfang Marcus Black emerge, silent and imposing.
Sam
Duffy:
“And just like that… everything changes.”
Rick
Granger:
“Your future Heritage Tag Team Champions have arrived.”
The
Nightstalkers walk down the ramp with no wasted motion, Vlad just ahead of
them, guiding the pace.
No
interaction with the crowd.
No
reaction.
Only
focus.
They reach
the ring, Vlad stopping at ringside as the champions step inside.
Across the
ring—
Steel
Justice stands ready.
Tony
Calibur steps to the center of the ring.
Tony
Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen… this is your MAIN EVENT of the evening!”
The crowd
cheers.
Tony
Calibur:
“This contest is scheduled for one fall!”
He turns
toward the corner.
Tony
Calibur:
“Introducing first… the Heritage Tag Team champions… the team of Alex ‘Skyhawk’
Justice and Kellyn ‘the Raven Archer’ Chrisari… STEEL JUSTICE!”
Crowd
pops.
Tony
turns.
Tony
Calibur:
“And their opponents… accompanied by Count Vlad… they are Bloodfang Viktor
Drakov… Shadowfang Marcus Black…”
(beat)
Tony
Calibur:
“THE NIGHTSTALKERS!”
The
tension fills the ring as both teams stare each other down.
Sam
Duffy:
“This is going to be a fight!”
Rick
Granger:
“No… this is going to be a lesson.”
The
referee checks both teams—
Bell
about to ring
The main
event begins with Steel Justice coming out fast, using their speed and
precision to keep Shadowfang Marcus Black off balance in the early moments.
Kellyn Chrisari and Alex Justice work quick tags, chaining together crisp
double-team offense that forces the Nightstalkers to weather an early storm.
Sam
Duffy:
“Steel Justice wasting no time—they know they have to stay on the attack!”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s fine early, Sam—but let’s see if they can keep that pace up.”
Shadowfang
eventually finds an opening, using his strength to slow things down and begin
shifting control. A punishing sequence sends Kellyn to the outside and back in
worse for wear, allowing the Nightstalkers to settle into their methodical
style.
Once
Viktor Drakov is tagged in, the tone of the match changes completely. The
Nightstalkers begin isolating Kellyn, working him over with heavy strikes and
well-timed double-team offense, cutting the ring in half and preventing Steel
Justice from building any sustained momentum.
Rick
Granger:
“This is where they’re at their best—slow it down, break you down, and then
finish it.”
Kellyn
fights through the punishment, managing to create just enough space to tag Alex
back in. Alex bursts in with energy, landing quick offense and trying to turn
the tide, but the Nightstalkers remain composed, absorbing the push and
responding with calculated counters.
The match
continues to swing back and forth, but the longer it goes, the more it favors
the Nightstalkers. Their ability to isolate and control begins to wear Steel
Justice down, limiting their opportunities to string together offense.
Late in
the match, Shadowfang regains control, cutting off another rally attempt and
driving Kellyn back to the mat with a snap suplex.
Sam
Duffy:
“That could do it!”
Shadowfang
hooks the leg—
1…
2…
3.
RESULT
The
Nightstalkers defeat Steel Justice via pinfall
Rick
Granger:
“That’s what I’m talking about! That’s how you handle business!”
Sam
Duffy:
“A huge win for the Nightstalkers here tonight!”
Shadowfang
rises slowly as Drakov joins him, both men standing tall in the ring while
Steel Justice regroup nearby, frustrated but not backing down.
At
ringside, Count Vlad steps forward, a faint, satisfied expression
crossing his face as he looks on.
Sam
Duffy:
“You have to believe that sends a message heading into Critical Mass!”
Rick
Granger:
“It doesn’t send a message, Sam—it delivers one.”
Steel
Justice pull themselves up, staring across the ring at the Nightstalkers,
refusing to show weakness despite the loss.
No attack.
No chaos.
Just a
tense standoff.
The camera
captures both teams—Steel Justice in one corner, the Nightstalkers standing
tall in the other—as the tension fills the arena.
Sam
Duffy:
“What a night it has been here on HCW Voltage!”
Rick
Granger:
“And if tonight proved anything, it’s that Critical Mass is going to be
something else entirely.”
The shot
widens to include Count Vlad at ringside, looking up at the ring as his team
stands victorious.
Sam
Duffy:
“We’ve seen contracts signed, challenges issued, and statements made across the
board—everything is coming to a head!”
Rick
Granger:
“And after a win like this, the Nightstalkers may have just put the entire tag
team division on notice.”
Inside the
ring, Steel Justice stand their ground, staring across at the Nightstalkers,
the crowd buzzing as neither team backs away.
Sam
Duffy:
“Steel Justice may have taken a loss tonight—but you can be sure this is far
from over!”
Rick
Granger:
“Oh, it’s just getting started.”
The camera
lingers on the staredown one last time—
Dominion
confidence…
Steel
Justice defiance…
Sam
Duffy:
“For Rick Granger, I’m Sam Duffy—thank you for joining us tonight for HCW
Voltage!”
Rick
Granger:
“One more Voltage show and then we’ll see you at Critical Mass.”
