J.R. Holland:
Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter.

We are just weeks away from Critical Mass, and tonight—everything begins to take shape. The Convergent qualifiers start here on Shockwave, tensions are rising across every division, and the road to the biggest event of the year is officially underway.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Oh, I love this time of year, J.R. Desperation, opportunity, careers hanging in the balance… this is where people stop pretending and start showing who they really are.”

J.R. Holland:
“And for some, that means earning their moment. For others… it means trying to take it.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Trying? No, no, no. The smart ones don’t try—they take. And if that means bending a few rules along the way… well, maybe the rulebook was the problem to begin with.”

J.R. Holland:
“But before we get to the action, we begin tonight with a moment of recognition—one that spans years of dominance, championships, and psychological warfare inside an HCW ring.”

HCW HALL OF FAME – CLASS OF 2026 ANNOUNCEMENT

The arena lights dim.

A slow, haunting instrumental begins to play—low strings, deliberate and ominous.

On the Omegatron, images begin to fade in:

  • The Wicked Prophet standing over a fallen opponent
  • Championship gold raised high
  • That cold, calculating stare into the camera

J.R. Holland (voiceover):
“Since his debut in 2019, he has stood as one of the most dangerous and calculating competitors in HCW history.”

The visuals shift:

  • World Championship victories
  • Ruthless assaults
  • Moments where opponents are left broken—mentally as much as physically

J.R. Holland:
“A five-time World Champion… a two-time United States Champion… a former HCW King… and a two-time Meyers Memorial Gold Cup winner.”

Final image:

Wicked Prophet stands tall, arms raised, surrounded by chaos in the ring.

J.R. Holland:
“Dominant. Relentless. Unforgettable.”

The screen transitions:

HCW HALL OF FAME – CLASS OF 2026
Inductee: The Wicked Prophet

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“…Now that is a Hall of Famer.”

“You can talk about wins and losses all you want—but this man understood something nobody else did… control. Control of the match… control of his opponents… and most importantly—control of fear.”

J.R. Holland:
“There are few competitors who could dictate the pace, the mindset, and ultimately the outcome of a match quite like The Wicked Prophet.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“He didn’t just beat people, J.R… he unraveled them. And if he had to bend the rules—or snap them in half—to do it? That’s not cheating… that’s being better than everyone else.”

J.R. Holland:
“However one views his methods, the results speak for themselves. A career defined by championships… and moments that left a lasting mark on this company.”

The music fades.

The crowd reacts—mixed, loud, emotional.

J.R. Holland:
“Congratulations to The Wicked Prophet—your newest member of the HCW Hall of Fame.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Love him or hate him… you felt him. And that’s what separates legends from everybody else.”

J.R. Holland:
“And with that, we turn our attention to the future—because tonight, the road to the Convergent Championship begins…”

Camera transitions toward the backstage area for the first interview segment.

Camera cuts to the backstage interview area. The HCW Shockwave logo glows on a monitor behind them. The lighting is sharp, focused—broadcast clean.  Ryan Mercer stands poised, microphone in hand.

Ryan Mercer:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m joined right now by Luciana Albano. And Luciana, just days ago on Live Wire, you came face-to-face with Veronica Flame. Many are wondering—what exactly was going through your mind in that moment?”

Luciana doesn’t answer right away.

She slowly adjusts her gloves… eyes forward… then finally turns slightly toward Ryan.

Luciana Albano:
“What was going through my mind?”

A faint smirk.

Luciana Albano (cont.):
“Clarity.”

She looks directly into the camera now.

Luciana Albano:
“For weeks… people have talked about Veronica Flame like she’s untouchable. Like she’s something special.  Just because she defeated Selena.”

A slight tilt of the head.

Luciana Albano (cont.):
“I looked her in the eye… and I saw exactly what she is.”

A beat.

Luciana Albano:
“A woman holding something that doesn’t belong to her.”

Ryan Mercer:
“So are you saying—”

Luciana subtly raises a hand. Ryan stops.

Luciana Albano:
“I’m not saying anything.”

Another step closer to the camera.

Luciana Albano (cont.):
“I’m telling you.”

Her tone lowers—colder now.

Luciana Albano:
“I’ve already stepped into her world.”

A pause.

Luciana Albano (cont.):
“Now… she’s standing in mine.”

Luciana leans in just slightly.

Luciana Albano:
“And the longer she holds that title…”

A faint smile returns.

Luciana Albano (cont.):
“…the worse this is going to get for her.”

She straightens up, composed again.

Ryan Mercer:
“Luciana Albano making her intentions very clear—”

Luciana turns and walks off without another word.

Ryan watches her go, then looks back to camera.

Ryan Mercer:
“Back to you.”

Camera cuts back toward the arena as the show transitions to the opening match.

Camera cuts back to the arena.

J.R. Holland:
“Luciana Albano sending a very clear message to Veronica Flame—and one that could have major implications in the weeks ahead.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Oh, I like it, J.R. No hesitation, no second-guessing—she sees something she wants, and she’s going to take it. That’s how this business works.”

J.R. Holland:
“But right now, we turn our attention to a rivalry that’s been building—and one that Aurora Storm specifically demanded to settle here tonight.”

“Riders of the Tempest” by Skybreaker Union hits

The crowd rises as Aurora Storm steps out onto the stage, focused and intense.

She doesn’t play to the crowd much—eyes locked on the ring as she makes her way down the ramp.

J.R. Holland:
“Aurora Storm made it clear—she wanted this match after what happened last week.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“And that’s what I don’t understand. Why go looking for trouble? Ashley Summers already proved she’s willing to do whatever it takes.”

Aurora steps into the ring, pacing slightly, ready.

The lights shift.

“Diamond in the Dark” by Velvet Vices hits

Ashley “Diamond” Summers appears on the stage—confident, smug—with Ruth Heartless at her side.

Ashley takes her time, smirking toward the ring as Ruth whispers something to her.

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Now this… this is intelligence. Ashley didn’t wait for an opportunity—she created one.”

J.R. Holland:
“She also cost Aurora Storm a championship opportunity—and that’s exactly why this match is happening tonight.”

Ashley and Ruth make their way to the ring, completely unbothered.

Ashley steps onto the apron, wipes her boots deliberately, and enters—never taking her eyes off Aurora.

The referee steps in between them as the tension builds…

A poster of a person in a blue and yellow garment

AI-generated content may be incorrect.

From the opening bell, Ashley “Diamond” Summers came out aggressive, immediately catching Aurora Storm off guard with a sharp Queen’s Boot that sent her reeling into the corner. Aurora recovered quickly, firing back with a burst of offense—Hair Whips, a Lightning Breaker, and the Eye of the Storm—making it clear she came into this match ready for a fight.

J.R. Holland:
“Aurora Storm wanted this match, and right now she’s showing exactly why!”

Ashley slowed things down with a High Angle Crab and a series of targeted attacks, but Aurora continued to answer with power and momentum, repeatedly turning the tide with suplexes and running knees. Each time Ashley looked to take control, Aurora found a way to fight back, keeping the match competitive and the crowd firmly behind her.

The turning point came as Ruth Heartless began to insert herself into the match. A perfectly timed distraction led to an eye rake behind the referee’s back, halting Aurora’s momentum and giving Ashley an opening she quickly capitalized on.

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“That’s what having Ruth Heartless out here is all about—Ashley doesn’t have to do this alone!”

Aurora refused to stay down, battling through the interference and nearly securing victory on two separate occasions—first after a Lightning Breaker, and again after the Eye of the Storm—but Ashley managed to survive both pin attempts by the narrowest of margins.

Frustration began to set in for Aurora as the interference continued to mount. At one point, she turned her attention toward Ruth at ringside, but the distraction cost her valuable momentum, allowing Ashley to regain control with a spear and a series of high-impact strikes.

Ashley pressed the advantage late, hitting a standing moonsault and repeatedly going for the pin, but Aurora kicked out each time, refusing to give in despite the mounting damage.

J.R. Holland:
“Aurora Storm will not stay down—but how much more can she take with Ruth Heartless constantly involved?”

The match reached its climax when Ashley connected with a Diamond Splash and quickly hooked the leg for the cover.

The referee dropped for the count—

One…
Two…

Aurora tried to kick out—

But Ruth Heartless had her foot pinned to the mat.

Out of the referee’s view.

Three.

Ashley rolled off with a smug grin as the bell rang, while Ruth quickly backed away, feigning innocence.

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“That’s not cheating—that’s strategy! Ashley Summers did exactly what she needed to do to win!”

Aurora sat up in disbelief, realizing what had happened as Ashley celebrated up the ramp alongside Ruth, completely unapologetic.

J.R. Holland:
“Aurora Storm had that match won—and it was stolen from her here tonight!”

Ashley raised her arms at the top of the stage, soaking in the reaction, while Aurora remained in the ring, frustrated and furious as this rivalry takes a bitter turn.

J.R. Holland:
“This rivalry is far from over.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Oh, it’s just getting good.”

Camera lingers on Aurora as we transition to the next segment…

Ryan Mercer:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with Leopold Dilg, who is looking to secure his place in the Convergent Championship picture. Dilg, with qualifiers now underway, how important is this opportunity for you?”

Dilg nods, calm but determined.

Leopold Dilg:
“It’s everything.”

A short pause.

Leopold Dilg (cont.):
“I’ve worked for this. Every match, every opportunity—I’ve earned my way here. So if qualifying is what it takes…”

He looks straight into the camera.

Leopold Dilg:
“Then I’ll earn it again.”

A slow clap is heard off-camera.

Sterling Silverman:
“That’s adorable.”

Silverman steps into frame, smirking, shaking his head.

Sterling Silverman:
“You really believe that, don’t you? That this is all about ‘earning it.’”

He looks Dilg up and down.

Sterling Silverman (cont.):
“This isn’t about effort. It’s about value. And quite frankly… you don’t bring any.”

Dilg steps forward, not aggressive—just firm.

Leopold Dilg:
“You don’t get to decide that.”

Sterling Silverman:
“Oh, I don’t?”

A chuckle.

Sterling Silverman (cont.):
“Because from where I’m standing, I’m the one people are paying to see. I’m the one that belongs in that match—not you.”

Leopold Dilg:
“Then prove it.”

That lands.

Silverman’s smirk tightens slightly—but he doesn’t step in.

Sterling Silverman:
“I don’t need to prove anything to you.”

He straightens his cuffs.

Sterling Silverman (cont.):
“But if you manage to survive long enough…”

A slight lean in.

Sterling Silverman:
“…maybe I’ll remind you why you don’t belong.”

Silverman smirks and walks off.

Dilg watches him go—focused, not rattled.

Leopold Dilg (quietly):
“We’ll see.”

Dilg exits frame.

Ryan turns back to camera.

Ryan Mercer:
“Tensions already rising as the Convergent qualifiers begin… Back to you.”

Camera cuts back toward the arena.

.R. Holland:
“Leopold Dilg made it clear—he’s ready to earn his place. But Sterling Silverman… once again questioning whether anyone else even belongs in that conversation.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Because they don’t, J.R. Silverman’s right—this isn’t about effort, it’s about results. And some of these guys? They’re just filling space.”

J.R. Holland:
“Well right now, we’re about to see two competitors who are anything but that, as the Convergent qualifiers officially get underway.”

“Broken Crown” by Iron Anthem hits

The crowd responds as Son of Drew steps out onto the stage.

Focused. Intense. No wasted movement.

He scans the arena briefly, then turns his attention straight to the ring and begins his walk down the ramp.

J.R. Holland:
“Son of Drew has been building momentum, and tonight is the biggest opportunity of his career.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“He’s been impressive, I’ll give him that—but this is a different level. One mistake, and he’s done.”

Son of Drew enters the ring and takes his corner, pacing as he waits.

The lights dim slightly.

“Altitude is Attitude” by Skyfall Riot hits

A surge of energy from the crowd as Caleb Wilde bursts onto the stage.

Confident. Charismatic. Moving with speed and purpose.

He points toward the ring, then takes off down the ramp, feeding off the crowd reaction.

J.R. Holland:
“Caleb Wilde has been turning heads since arriving in HCW—and now he has a chance to take a major step forward.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Yeah, yeah, everyone loves the new guy. Let’s see how much they love him when the pressure actually hits.”

Caleb slides into the ring and pops up to his feet, staring across at Son of Drew.

The two men nod slightly—respect, but no hesitation.

AI-generated content may be incorrect.

From the opening bell, this match was a fast-paced, evenly matched contest between two rising stars, with both Caleb Wilde and Son of Drew trading momentum almost immediately. Wilde relied on crisp execution—back drops, leg lariats, and a picture-perfect Panama Sunrise—while Son of Drew answered with speed and agility, countering with La Casitas, handstand headscissors, and sharp striking combinations .

J.R. Holland:
“These are two competitors who know exactly what’s at stake—and neither one is giving an inch!”

The early minutes saw neither man able to take full control, as every offensive burst was met with an immediate counter. Wilde began to find rhythm with a series of suplex variations and standing dropkicks, but Son of Drew repeatedly cut him off with quick counters and sudden bursts of offense, keeping the match balanced.

As the match wore on, the pace only intensified. Wilde connected with a Carona Kick and multiple high-impact strikes, while Son of Drew fired back with superkicks, slaps, and relentless counters that kept Wilde from building sustained momentum .

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“This is what pressure looks like, J.R.—no room for mistakes, no room to breathe!”

Wilde came closest to turning the tide late, reversing a superkick into a wheelbarrow suplex and following up with another flurry of offense, but Son of Drew refused to stay down, continuing to answer every big moment with one of his own.

The closing stretch saw both men pushing the pace even further, trading near-falls and high-impact maneuvers as the crowd grew louder with each exchange. Wilde looked to regain control with another kick combination, but Son of Drew countered at just the right moment.

Son of Drew connected with The Lover Bomb.

He hooked the leg.

One…
Two…
Three.

WINNER: Son of Drew

Son of Drew rolled off, breathing heavily but focused as his music hit, knowing he had just secured a major victory in the Convergent qualifier.

J.R. Holland:
“A huge win for Son of Drew—he earns his place moving forward in the Convergent Championship picture!”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“And that’s what happens when you capitalize, J.R—one opening, one moment, and it’s over!”

Wilde remained on the mat for a moment, clearly disappointed but having pushed Son of Drew to the limit in a hard-fought battle.

And then—

Before the moment can fully settle—

Mr. X slides into the ring.

No music.

No warning.

He immediately assaults Caleb Wilde, stomping him down and driving him back into the mat as the crowd erupts.

J.R. Holland:
“What the—Mr. X! What is he doing?!”

Mr. X continues the attack, targeting Wilde with ruthless precision, not allowing him any chance to recover.

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Message sent, J.R. Loud and clear!”

Officials begin to rush down as Mr. X stands over Wilde for a moment—then exits just as suddenly as he arrived, leaving Caleb laid out in the ring.

J.R. Holland:
“This had nothing to do with the match—this was deliberate!”

Camera lingers on Wilde being checked on as Shockwave moves forward…

Camera cuts backstage to a set dressed in bold colors and sharp lighting. A large screen behind the desk reads:

Truth Wayne:
“Ladies and gentlemen… welcome to The Truth Hurts—the only place in HCW where people don’t hide behind excuses… they get exposed by them.”

A smirk.

Truth Wayne (cont.):
“And tonight, my guest is undefeated… outspoken… and apparently very, very tired of being overlooked.”

He gestures toward the side.

Truth Wayne:
“Please welcome—Jett Sterling.”

Jett Sterling steps into frame, confident, composed, and already shaking his head as he takes a seat.

Truth Wayne:
“Five wins. Zero losses. And somehow… not the center of attention. That’s got to bother you.”

Jett Sterling:
“Bother me?”

A short laugh.

Jett Sterling (cont.):
“No—it confuses me.”

He leans forward slightly.

Jett Sterling:
“I look around this place, and I see people fighting for opportunities… begging for chances… trying to prove they belong.”

A dismissive wave.

Jett Sterling:
“I’ve already proven it.”

Truth Wayne:
“So what you’re saying is… you shouldn’t be in a qualifier match.”

Jett Sterling:
“I’m saying I shouldn’t be anywhere near a qualifier.”

A confident nod.

Jett Sterling (cont.):
“I should already be in the main event at Critical Mass.”

Truth raises his eyebrows, clearly enjoying this.

Truth Wayne:
“Now that is what I like to hear. No hesitation, no doubt—just results.”

Jett smirks.

Jett Sterling:
“Exactly.”

A brief pause.

Then—

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus (off-screen):
“Oh, here we go…”

The camera shifts slightly as someone steps into frame.

Owen “Orange Fury” Zestwell.

Focused. Intense. No smile.

Owen “Orange Fury” Zestwell:
“You done?”

Jett leans back in his chair, unimpressed.

Jett Sterling:
“I was just getting started.”

Owen “Orange Fury” Zestwell:
“Good. Because now you can say it to me.”

The tension spikes instantly.

Truth Wayne leans back, grinning, letting it unfold.

Jett Sterling:
“You want me to say it?”

A shrug.

Jett Sterling (cont.):
“You’re standing in a spot you barely deserve… holding something that should already be mine.”

Owen “Orange Fury” Zestwell:
“You haven’t earned anything yet.”

A step closer.

Owen “Orange Fury” Zestwell (cont.):
“You’ve got wins. That’s it.”

Jett stands now.

Jett Sterling:
“That’s all it takes.”

Owen “Orange Fury” Zestwell:
“No.”

A beat.

Owen “Orange Fury” Zestwell:
“That’s all it takes to get my attention.”

The two stand face-to-face.

Owen “Orange Fury” Zestwell:
“You want this?”

He gestures toward the title.

Owen “Orange Fury” Zestwell (cont.):
“Then stop talking… and come take it.”

Jett smirks.

But he doesn’t step forward.

Jett Sterling:
“I will.”

A slight lean in.

Jett Sterling:
“Just not tonight.”

Jett backs off, still smiling.

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus (off-screen):
“Smart. Very smart.”

Jett exits frame.

Owen watches him go, not taking his eyes off him.

Truth Wayne:
“Well… I’d say that went exactly how I expected.”

Owen doesn’t respond—just turns and walks off.

Truth Wayne (to camera):
“Like I always say…”

A grin.

Truth Wayne:
“The truth doesn’t hurt… unless it’s yours.”

Camera fades out as the segment ends and transitions back toward the arena.

J.R. Holland:
“Tensions just escalated in a major way between Owen Zestwell and Jett Sterling—and you can feel that one building toward something big.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Jett said everything that needed to be said. Undefeated, confident, and smart enough not to rush into a fight he doesn’t need yet.”

J.R. Holland:
“But right now, we turn back to in-ring action—and one of the hottest competitors in HCW today.”

“Strike the Sky” by Voltage Reign hits

The crowd responds as Lightning Ethan Hayes bursts onto the stage, full of energy and confidence.

He throws his arms out wide, soaking in the reaction before pointing toward the ring and making his way down the ramp with purpose.

J.R. Holland:
“Eight wins, one loss—Lightning Ethan Hayes has been on an incredible run.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“And that’s exactly why the pressure’s on. When you’re this hot, everyone’s waiting for you to slip.”

Ethan slides into the ring and pops up quickly, pacing with intensity as he prepares for action.

The lights dim slightly.

“March of the Imperium” by Iron Crown Syndicate hits

Caesar King steps out onto the stage, composed and arrogant, surveying the arena with a look of complete superiority.

He takes his time, adjusting his wrist tape, eyes locked on Ethan in the ring.

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Now this is someone who understands presence. Caesar King doesn’t rush—he controls the moment.”

J.R. Holland:
“He’ll need more than presence tonight—he’s stepping into the ring with one of the fastest-rising stars in HCW.”

Caesar slowly makes his way down the ramp, never taking his eyes off Ethan.

He steps into the ring deliberately, standing tall as the two men square up.

The referee steps in as the tension builds and the bell is about to ring…

A poster of two men fighting

AI-generated content may be incorrect.

From the opening bell, this was a fast, high-impact contest between two competitors looking to prove themselves, with Caesar King immediately asserting control through precision strikes and targeted offense. Ethan Hayes answered with speed and explosiveness, countering with a sitout gourdbuster and quick transitions that kept him right in the fight .

J.R. Holland:
“Lightning Ethan Hayes continues to impress—but Caesar King is not giving him any room to breathe here!”

Caesar began to dictate the pace, landing a Dreamcast jumping corkscrew roundhouse and locking in a high angle Fujiwara armbar, trying to ground Ethan early. Hayes refused to submit, battling through the hold and firing back with a Twist of Fate and a series of dropkicks that shifted the momentum back in his favor .

As the match continued, the two traded control with rapid counters and high-impact offense. Caesar leaned into power and precision—brainbusters, slingblades, and gutbusters—while Hayes relied on speed and timing, reversing key moments and keeping himself alive in the contest.

Midway through the match, the camera briefly cut to ringside—Harrison Marks, watching intently, arms crossed, eyes locked on Caesar King.

AI-generated content may be incorrect.

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Take a look at that—Harrison Marks scouting the competition. Smart move if you ask me.”

J.R. Holland:
“Harrison Marks clearly keeping a close eye on this one—and you have to wonder what he’s thinking as Caesar King continues to control this match.”

Back in the ring, the pace intensified. A flurry of reversals led to a rapid exchange of pin attempts, with both men nearly stealing the victory before kicking out at the last possible moment .

Ethan surged again, connecting with another Alley Oop Facebuster and a series of quick strikes, but Caesar responded with relentless offense, repeatedly driving him into the mat with heavy impact moves and wearing him down.

J.R. Holland:
“Ethan Hayes is hanging on—but the damage is starting to add up!”

Caesar took full control in the closing moments, repeatedly dropping Hayes with the Prince’s Throne Fireman’s Carry Gutbuster. Ethan kicked out once, but the sustained punishment began to take its toll .

With Hayes slowed and vulnerable, Caesar lifted him once more—

Prince’s Throne.

He hooked the leg.

One…
Two…
Three.

WINNER: Caesar King

Caesar King rose to his feet, composed and confident as his music hit, having secured a decisive victory over one of HCW’s hottest competitors.

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“That’s how you make a statement! Caesar King just shut down one of the hottest runs in HCW!”

J.R. Holland:
“A huge win for Caesar King—but Lightning Ethan Hayes pushed him every step of the way in a hard-fought match.”

Caesar glanced briefly toward ringside—locking eyes with Harrison Marks for just a moment—before turning and exiting the ring without another word.

Harrison didn’t react… just watched.

Camera lingers on Ethan recovering in the ring as Shockwave moves forward…

The arena lights dim—this time more noticeably.

A cold white flicker pulses across the Omegatron.

Then—

A symbol appears.

A white hand with fire in a circle

AI-generated content may be incorrect.

The audio distorts… then stabilizes.

A voice emerges.

Calm. Controlled. Unyielding.

Ashen Vicar (voiceover):
“Count Vlad…”

A pause.

The crowd reacts immediately.

Ashen Vicar (cont.):
“You stand beneath stolen light…”

The symbol pulses.

Ashen Vicar:
“You speak of dominion… of blood… of legacy…”

A flicker—

A throne.

Dark. Empty.

Ashen Vicar (cont.):
“But we have seen the truth behind your crown.”

The screen glitches.

A flash—

White flame.

Ashen Vicar:
“You are not chosen.”

A longer pause.

Ashen Vicar (cont.):
“You are… tolerated.”

The tone drops—sharper now.

Ashen Vicar:
“You challenged us.”

A beat.

Ashen Vicar (cont.):
“We answer.”

Quick flashes:

  • Hooded figures standing in perfect stillness
  • A long corridor lit only by white fire
  • A hand tightening into a fist

Ashen Vicar:
“The false throne will burn.”

The symbol fractures.

Light bleeds through the cracks—

Ashen Vicar (final):
“And when it does…”

A pause.

Ashen Vicar:
“You will kneel… not as ruler…”

The flame flares—

Ashen Vicar:
“…but as offering.”

The screen cuts to black.

Silence.

Lights return.

The crowd buzzes—loud, uneasy.

J.R. Holland:
“That was not subtle—that was a direct message to Count Vlad.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“And not a friendly one. Ashen Vicar and the Mirror Saints have one goal…the ending of Count Vlad and the Dark Dominion.”

J.R. Holland:
“Ashen Vicar has answered the challenge… and now all eyes turn to the Dark Dominion.”

Camera fades back to the arena floor as Shockwave continues…

Camera returns to the arena, the uneasy energy from the previous segment still lingering.

J.R. Holland:
“A direct message sent to Count Vlad—and one that raises more questions than answers.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Questions? No, J.R—those were threats. And if I’m Vlad, I’m not taking them lightly.”

J.R. Holland:
“But right now, we turn our attention back to the ring—and the Heritage Women’s Champion in action.”

“Witch’s Dominion” by Black Veil Coven hits

The arena darkens as Grizelda emerges onto the stage, championship draped over her shoulder.

She moves slowly, deliberately—eyes locked on the ring, expression cold and unreadable.  Count Vlad appears from behind the curtain.  He follows her to the ring; mind contemplating the promo that just transpired.

J.R. Holland:
“Grizelda has been one of the most dangerous competitors in the women’s division—but tonight, she looks to make another statement.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“And she needs to. There are challengers lining up, and if she slips even once, that title is gone.  Count Vlad looks distracted…like he’s working through the promo that just aired. ”

Grizelda enters the ring, raising the championship briefly before handing it off and taking her corner.

“Second Chances” by Silver Lining Riot hits

Penny Hall steps out to a solid reaction from the crowd, nodding as she takes in the moment.

She claps her hands, focused and determined, before making her way down the ramp.

J.R. Holland:
“Penny Hall with a great opportunity here tonight—taking on the champion in a non-title matchup.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Opportunity, sure—but let’s not pretend she’s walking into anything easy. That’s Grizelda in there.”

Penny slides into the ring and rises to her feet, staring across at Grizelda.

Grizelda doesn’t react—just watches.

The referee checks both competitors as the tension builds…

From the opening bell, Grizelda asserted control with ruthless precision, immediately targeting Penny Hall with a series of hair-pull snap mares and grinding offense that established her dominance early .

J.R. Holland:
“Grizelda wasting no time—this is a statement match for the champion!”

Penny fought back with bursts of energy, countering a blatant chokehold into a diving shoulder block and later following up with power moves that briefly shifted the momentum in her favor. But every time she began to build something, Grizelda cut her off with calculated brutality, dragging the match back into her pace .

Grizelda continued to wear Penny down with repeated snap mares, stiff strikes, and methodical offense, forcing Penny to fight from underneath. Penny showed resilience, landing a sunset flip and a scoop powerslam to stay alive, but she was consistently forced to defend against the champion’s relentless attacks.

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“This is what separates a champion from everyone else—Grizelda controls the match, not the other way around!”

Midway through the match, the camera cut to the stage—

Korbi Kong.

Standing tall.

Watching.

Arms at her sides, eyes locked on the ring.

The crowd erupted.

J.R. Holland:
“Korbi Kong is here—and she’s watching the Heritage Women’s Champion very closely!”

Back in the ring, Grizelda nearly ended it with the Enchanted Ending, but Penny kicked out, drawing a strong reaction from the crowd .

Penny continued to fight, even catching Grizelda in a small package for a near fall, but the damage was beginning to take its toll as Grizelda tightened her grip on the match.

Then—

A distraction.

Count Vlad appeared at ringside.

Just enough to shift the moment.

J.R. Holland:
“Oh come on—the ref needs to keep an eye on Count Vlad!”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“He’s making sure his champion stays exactly where she belongs!”

The distraction allowed Grizelda to regain full control, locking Penny into a brutal sequence of attacks as the challenger struggled to recover.

Korbi remained on the stage.

Watching.

Unmoving.

Unimpressed.

Grizelda, sensing the moment, drove Penny down once more with a final hair-pull snap mare and quickly hooked the leg.

WINNER: Grizelda

Grizelda rose slowly, breathing steady, her expression cold as she was handed the championship.

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Dominant. That’s what a champion looks like.”

J.R. Holland:
“Grizelda gets the win—but once again, there were outside influences involved.”

Grizelda turned—

And looked up the ramp.

Korbi Kong stood there.

Unflinching.

The two locked eyes.

Champion and challenger.

Neither moving.

Neither backing down.

J.R. Holland:
“That is a collision waiting to happen.”

Grizelda slowly raised the championship.

Korbi didn’t react.

Just stared.

Camera lingers on the staredown as Shockwave continues…

Camera remains in the arena as the tension from the previous moment lingers.

J.R. Holland:
“Grizelda stands tall—but the presence of Korbi Kong sends a clear message. That situation is far from settled.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“And yet, the champion is still standing with the gold. That’s all that matters, J.R.”

Korbi heads to the back and Grizelda and Count Vlad follow shortly after.

J.R. Holland:
“But right now… it’s time for our main event.”

“Wings of Justice” by Sky Sentinel hits

The crowd rises as Steel Justice—Alex “Skyhawk” Justice and Kellyn “The Raven Archer” Chrisari—step onto the stage.

Focused. United.

They exchange a quick nod before heading down the ramp together, eyes locked on the ring.

J.R. Holland:
“The Heritage Tag Team Champions—Steel Justice—have set the standard for tag team excellence in HCW.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Standard or not, they’re stepping into the ring with a team that doesn’t follow rules—and that’s where things get dangerous.”

Steel Justice enter the ring, raising their arms briefly to the crowd before settling into their corner, ready.

The arena lights dim.

A darker tone fills the building.

“Echoes of Ruin” by Hollow Dominion hits

The mood shifts immediately as The Fangs of Despair emerge—cold, calculated, and methodical.

They pause at the top of the stage—

And behind them…

Count Vlad.

Silent. Watching.

J.R. Holland:
“The Fangs of Despair, accompanied by Count Vlad—and you have to believe there’s more at stake here than just a win.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“When Count Vlad is involved, there’s always more at stake.”

The Fangs make their way to the ring, never breaking their focus.

Vlad follows slowly, stopping just short of the ring, observing everything.

Inside the ring, Steel Justice stand ready.

Across from them—

The Fangs.

The referee checks both teams as the tension builds…

The bell is about to ring.

From the opening bell, this was a fast-paced and physical tag team contest, with Steel Justice and the Fangs of Despair trading control through quick tags and high-impact offense. Alex “Skyhawk” Justice and Kellyn “The Raven Archer” Chrisari worked seamlessly as a unit, using speed and double-team precision to keep the Fangs on the defensive early .

J.R. Holland:
“Steel Justice showing exactly why they are the standard-bearers in the tag division!”

The Fangs answered with aggression and opportunism, using quick tags of their own to isolate their opponents. Dr. Red Fang and Nightfang cut off momentum with sharp strikes and well-timed counters, keeping the match competitive and chaotic.

At ringside, Count Vlad observed everything—calm, calculating, and always watching for the moment to shift the balance.

Steel Justice began to take control as the match progressed, stringing together fluid combinations and double-team offense that overwhelmed Dr. Red Fang. A series of high-impact maneuvers—including a hurricanrana and Raven’s Flight—kept the Fangs on the back foot .

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“This is what happens when a team works together like a machine—Steel Justice is picking them apart!”

The pace intensified as both teams pushed forward, but it became clear that Steel Justice was gaining the upper hand. Justice and Chrisari continued to isolate Dr. Red Fang, cutting the ring in half and preventing a clean tag.

Then—

Chaos spilled to the outside.

Dr. Red Fang was sent crashing out of the ring as Steel Justice maintained control inside.

The referee began the count.

One…

Dr. Red Fang started to stir—

But then—

Count Vlad raised his hand.

A subtle gesture.

A command.

The Fangs froze.

They looked toward him.

And then…

They stepped back.

No attempt to re-enter.

No urgency.

Just obedience.

J.R. Holland:
“What—what are they doing?! They need to get back in the ring!”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“They’re listening to Count Vlad!”

Four…
Five…
Six…

Steel Justice stands in the ring, confused at first… then frustrated.

Seven…
Eight…

J.R. Holland:
“This match is about to end—and the Fangs aren’t even trying to get back in!”

Nine…
Ten.

The bell rings.

RESULT: Steel Justice win by countout

Steel Justice look at each other, clearly unhappy with how this ended.

No celebration.

No satisfaction.

Just frustration.

J.R. Holland:
“That’s not how they wanted to win this match—not even close!”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“That’s control, J.R. Count Vlad just decided when this match was over—and that’s exactly what happened.”

At ringside, Count Vlad lowers his hand, expression unchanged.

The Fangs regroup beside him.

Mission accomplished.

Steel Justice exchange words in the ring, shaking their heads, before eventually exiting—still clearly bothered by the outcome.

Camera lingers briefly on Count Vlad and the Fang before exiting behind the curtain.

Camera cuts back to the arena.

“Midnight Pulse” by Neon Veil hits

Talia Nocturne steps out onto the stage, confident and composed, the arena lighting shifting slightly to match her presence.

She walks to the ring with purpose, eyes scanning the crowd before stepping inside.

J.R. Holland:
“Talia Nocturne has been building momentum, and tonight—she’s clearly got something on her mind.”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“And that usually means someone else is about to have a problem.”

Talia takes a microphone, pacing slowly.

Talia Nocturne:
“I’m done waiting.”

A pause.

Talia Nocturne (cont.):
“I’m done watching opportunities pass by… I’m done watching people get chances they didn’t earn…”

Her tone sharpens.

Talia Nocturne:
“And I’m especially done watching people pretend they belong in my spotlight.”

Twinkle steps out—but instead of rushing, she walks with purpose, already shaking her head.

J.R. Holland:
“Twinkle clearly taking exception to that.”

Twinkle enters the ring, microphone raised.

Twinkle:
“Your spotlight?”

A laugh.

Twinkle (cont.):
“You couldn’t hold a spotlight if someone handed it to you.”

The two stand face-to-face.

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Oh yeah… this is about to explode.”

Talia Nocturne:
“You’re still here because nobody’s bothered to remove you.”

A step closer.

Talia Nocturne (cont.):
“Maybe I should fix that.”

The tension spikes—

J.R. Holland:
“Hold on—what is—”

From the crowd—

The All American Sweethearts vault the barricade.

No music.

No warning.

They slide into the ring—

And immediately attack Talia from behind.

J.R. Holland:
“From the crowd! The All American Sweethearts just blindsided Talia Nocturne!”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Now that’s how you make an entrance!”

Twinkle backs off instantly—hands up, stepping toward the ropes.

She exits quickly, not getting involved.

J.R. Holland:
“Twinkle wants no part of this—and she’s getting out of the way!”

In the ring, the Sweethearts overwhelm Talia with a brutal two-on-one assault—stomps, strikes, and a coordinated double-team that drives her into the mat.

J.R. Holland:
“This is a mugging! Talia Nocturne never saw it coming!”

They lift Talia—

Double-team strike.

Down she goes again.

The crowd roars—

“Witch’s Dominion” hits

Grizelda, the Heritage Women’s Champion runs out.

“Widow’s Rise” by Nightshade Ritual hits

Selena “Widow’s Fang” Blackfang is right behind her.

J.R. Holland:
“Here come the other half of the Iron Maidens Tag Team Champions!”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Now things just got complicated!”

The Sweethearts see them—

And immediately bail out of the ring.

They retreat up the ramp, laughing, pointing back toward the ring.

Grizelda and Selena slide in, checking on Talia as the Sweethearts backpedal up the aisle.

J.R. Holland:
“The Sweethearts wanted to make a statement—but they didn’t want to stick around for the consequences!”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“Hey, they made their point—and they’re walking out in one piece. That’s a win.”

In the ring, Selena kneels beside Talia while Grizelda stands, staring up the ramp—focused, cold, and clearly taking this personally.

J.R. Holland:
“This just became something much bigger—the Iron Maidens may have just found their next challengers!”

Camera lingers on the ring—Talia recovering, Selena helping her up, and Grizelda staring down the retreating Sweethearts…

J.R. Holland:
“For Clarkus ‘C.K.’ Kentus, I’m J.R. Holland—what a night it has been here on Shockwave!”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“And it’s only getting more dangerous—especially if teams start jumping each other from the crowd!”

J.R. Holland:
“The road to Critical Mass continues—and tensions are boiling over across every division!”

Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus:
“And I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

J.R. Holland:
“We’ll see you next time right here on HCW Shockwave!”

Fade to black.
