Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“What a night we’ve got lined up! The temperature in HCW has been rising for weeks, Mike, and tonight feels like the night it boils over!”

The camera sweeps the arena as pyro explodes across the stage and the crowd roars. Signs fill the air. The energy is electric.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“The Dark Dominion continues to cast a long shadow over this company, Count Vlad has promised answers, and we understand he intends to address the entire locker room tonight!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And that’s not all! The Television Championship is on the line in our main event as The Rich Athlete defends against Harrison Marks! Plus the Albano family is in action, Luciana is demanding gold, and the women’s division may be on the brink of total chaos!”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“We’ll also hear from Scarlett Howl and Ruby Howl tonight as challengers line up on both fronts. Warzone is approaching fast, and every title in HCW suddenly has a target painted on it.”

The camera cuts to the entrance stage as the crowd buzz builds.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And I’ve got a feeling we’re not leaving here quietly. Something is shifting in HCW… you can feel it in the air.”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Buckle up, wrestling fans. This is HCW Live Wire!”

Music swells. Camera pushes toward the stage.

The arena lights suddenly cut to black.

A low, droning tone hums through the building — not music, not static, something in between. The crowd noise dies into an uneasy murmur. A crimson glow bleeds across the stage like a spreading wound, and smoke begins to crawl along the floor.

The screen ignites:

THE DARK DOMINION

The word doesn’t flash.

It breathes.

A slow pulse.

Then Count Vlad steps onto the stage.

He does not raise his arms.
He does not acknowledge the crowd.

He simply walks.

Each step deliberate. Each movement measured. The Dominion emblem burns behind him as he enters the ring. A black microphone is placed in his hand by an unseen attendant who exits immediately.

The arena is quiet now.

Not respectful.

Uneasy.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“…You can feel the air change when he walks out here.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“That’s not bravado, Mike. That’s control.”

Vlad stands center ring, eyes scanning the arena slowly, like a monarch inspecting a battlefield. When he speaks, his voice is calm — almost gentle.

Count Vlad:
“There are forces… that mistake noise for power.”

He lets the words settle.

Count Vlad:
“Flashes in the sky. Whispers in the dark. Symbols painted like warnings from frightened children.”

A faint smirk.

Count Vlad:
“They believe they are haunting us.”

He looks up toward the camera.

Count Vlad:
“They believe… we are afraid.”

A beat.

His expression hardens.

Count Vlad:
“We are not haunted.”

He raises the microphone slightly.

Count Vlad:
“We are the house.”

The crowd reacts — a low wave of tension more than cheers or boos.

Count Vlad:
“Ashen Vicar… Cara Loco…”

He says their names like a summons, not a callout.

Count Vlad:
“You have knocked on the door of the Dominion. You have scratched at the walls. You have begged for attention like stray animals in a storm.”

He spreads his arms slowly.

Count Vlad:
“So come inside.”

The arena falls silent again.

Count Vlad:
“Meet the Dominion.”

Not a shout.

A decree.

Count Vlad:
“Stand before us… not as shadows… but as men.”

He lowers the microphone.

Count Vlad:
“And let us see… what burns.”

Vlad drops the mic.

It echoes loudly in the stillness.

The lights cut to black again.

The Dominion emblem pulses once.

Twice.

Gone.

No music.

No interruption.

Just the sound of a crowd exhaling all at once.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“…That wasn’t a challenge.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“That was a warning.”

The lights snap back to normal.

And the show moves on.

The house lights brighten and the crowd buzz grows as the ring announcer steps forward.

Tony Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a tag team match scheduled for one fall!”

The arena lights explode into red, white, and blue strobes as pounding drums hit the speakers. The crowd immediately pops.

The screen flashes:

THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS

Flash and Justice burst onto the stage together, saluting the crowd as fireworks erupt behind them. They slap hands with fans down the ramp, feeding off the energy.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“And listen to this crowd! The Freedom Fighters always bring the arena to its feet!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“They fight like men who believe every match is a mission, Mike — and tonight they’ve got the Albano family in their sights!”

Flash slides into the ring while Justice climbs the ropes and salutes again. The crowd roars in approval as they bounce in their corner, focused and fired up.

Their music cuts.

A sharp, arrogant brass riff hits the speakers and the reaction flips instantly to boos.

Pierre Boulay steps onto the stage first, sneering at the audience. Behind him, Tony and Salvatore Albano emerge in matching gear, walking slowly, deliberately, soaking in the hatred.

Tony Calibur:
“And their opponents, accompanied by their manager Pierre Boulay… Tony and Salvatore Albano!”

Pierre gestures theatrically toward the ring as if presenting royalty. Tony smirks. Sal cracks his neck. They take their time walking down the ramp, jawing with fans, never breaking eye contact with the Freedom Fighters.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“The Albano family always carries themselves like they own this place.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Well confidence isn’t illegal, Mike! And look at Pierre — that man knows exactly how to tilt the odds!”

Pierre whispers final instructions as the Albanos step onto the apron. The Fighters stare them down from across the ring. The tension is immediate.

The referee steps between both teams.

The bell is about to ring…

The opening tag bout turns into a grind immediately as Salvatore Albano hurls Freedom Fighter Flash through the ropes and forces him to beat a long count just to stay alive. The Albano brothers isolate Flash early with sharp tags and corner traps, keeping Justice stranded while Pierre Boulay stalks the apron barking instructions.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“The Albanos are cutting this ring in half perfectly — Flash is fighting uphill every second he stays trapped in that corner!”

The momentum swings when Flash finally slips free and brings Justice in for a burst of double-team offense — neckbreaker drops, sleeper holds, and high-impact tandem strikes that shake the ring and ignite the crowd. The Fighters’ speed overwhelms Salvatore for stretches, but the Albanos respond with brutal, old-school teamwork of their own, slowing the pace and punishing Flash with corner splashes and piledrivers that nearly end it.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“You don’t survive this long in this business by playing nice — the Albanos are dissecting him!”

Pierre Boulay sneaks a cheap shot at a key moment, rattling Flash just enough for the Albanos to regain control. Even so, Flash refuses to stay down, firing back with a stunning Destino and a Tiger Driver that nearly flips the match entirely. The arena rises as the Fighters look ready to steal it, but the Albanos answer with one final coordinated assault, flattening Flash and cutting off Justice before he can intervene.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Flash won’t quit — but how much more can one man take?!”

Tony Albano storms in off the final exchange, catches Flash mid-recovery, and plants him with a crushing Bulldog. The referee drops, the crowd counts along—

One… Two… Three!

The bell rings.

Tony Albano rolls off Flash with a snarl as Salvatore joins him in celebration, Pierre applauding smugly from ringside. Justice slides in too late, kneeling beside his partner while the Albanos retreat up the ramp, satisfied with a hard-fought, ruthless victory that sets the tone for the night.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“That was survival, plain and simple. The Freedom Fighters threw everything they had at the Albanos, but the numbers and the interference caught up with them.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“You call it interference, I call it strategy! Pierre Boulay earned his paycheck tonight. The Albanos didn’t steal anything — they outlasted them!”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Outlasted, maybe… but you have to wonder how long the Fighters will let that kind of thing slide. This rivalry is far from over.”

The camera cuts away from the ring…

Backstage — Max McGillicutty’s Office

The door bursts open without a knock.

AI-generated content may be incorrect.

Luciana Albano storms in first, eyes blazing. Pierre Boulay follows close behind, already talking before the door even swings shut.

Pierre Boulay:
“This is unacceptable! Absolutely unacceptable!”

Max McGillicutty looks up from his desk, calm but unimpressed.

Max McGillicutty:
“I’m guessing you’re not here to congratulate me on a great opener.”

Luciana steps forward, planting both hands on the desk.

Luciana Albano:
“I am done waiting.”

Her voice is low, controlled, but boiling.

Luciana Albano:
“I watch challengers come and go. I watch titles defended. I watch opportunities handed out. And I am standing still. That ends tonight.”

Pierre gestures wildly.

Pierre Boulay:
“The Albano name carries this company on its back! We demand gold — not promises, not maybes — gold!”

Max leans back in his chair, studying them for a moment.

Max McGillicutty:
“You want an opportunity? Fine. You earn it in the ring.”

Luciana doesn’t blink.

Luciana Albano:
“Name her.”

Max nods.

Max McGillicutty:
“Starla Nova. Tonight. You win, you move up.  Whether or not that is to the front of the line remains to be seen.”

A slow smile spreads across Luciana’s face.

Luciana Albano:
“I won’t sit on the sidelines anymore.”

Pierre claps once, sharply.

Pierre Boulay:
“You just made the smartest decision of your career.”

Luciana turns and strides out without another word. Pierre follows, throwing Max a smug look over his shoulder before slamming the door shut.

Max exhales, shaking his head.

The camera lingers a beat…

Then fades back toward the arena.

The camera returns to ringside as the crowd buzzes, still reacting to the confrontation in Max’s office.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Well there you have it — Luciana just forced her way into the spotlight. Tonight isn’t just another match for her, it’s a statement.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And I don’t think Max had much of a choice! When someone comes in that fired up, you either give them a fight or they burn the place down trying to get one!”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Starla Nova has her hands full later tonight. But right now, we shift gears to a huge non-title matchup…”

The ring announcer steps forward.

Tony Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall!”

The lights dim to a warm amber tone as smooth orchestral rock swells through the arena. Leopold Dilg steps onto the stage, composed and confident, offering a respectful nod to the crowd. The audience responds with a warm ovation as he makes his way down the ramp, focused and measured.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Leopold Dilg has been building momentum quietly but steadily. Every time he steps in the ring, he proves he belongs with the best.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“He’s got poise, Mike. That’s a dangerous quality — especially against a champion.”

Dilg enters the ring and removes his jacket, eyes locked on the entrance.

The arena suddenly explodes with cheers as hard-driving guitar hits the speakers.

Zack Brown steps through the curtain with the HCW World Championship over his shoulder. He raises it high, and the crowd roars even louder. He slaps hands with fans on the way down, energized but respectful, every bit the fighting champion.

Tony Calibur:
“And his opponent…he is the HCW World Champion… Zack ‘Commando’ Brown!”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Non-title match or not, when the World Champion steps in the ring, it’s a measuring stick for everyone watching.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And Dilg knows a win here changes everything. You beat the champion, even in a non-title fight, you put your name in bold letters.”

Zack climbs the turnbuckle and raises the belt one more time before handing it to the referee. He and Dilg meet center ring, exchanging a respectful nod.

The crowd hums with anticipation.

The bell is about to ring…

Zack Brown and Leopold Dilg lock up immediately, and the tone is set in seconds — this isn’t a friendly exhibition, it’s a proving ground. Brown muscles Dilg backward with a crushing football tackle that rattles the ring, but Dilg pops right back up and answers with a sharp knee drop that draws an early roar from the crowd.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Leopold Dilg is not intimidated in the slightest!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“He’s scrappy for a reason, Mike — he likes this kind of fight!”

The match turns into a grinding contest of power and grit. Brown repeatedly hoists Dilg into thunderous powerbombs, trying to end it early, but Dilg refuses to stay down. He counters with slick suplexes and a vicious crossface that has the champion fighting for leverage. Every time Brown creates distance, Dilg drags him back into the trenches.

Brown lands the Paratrooper Plunge and straps Dilg into a brutal backbreaker, bending him across his knee. The referee checks closely as Dilg refuses to quit, shaking his head through clenched teeth until Brown releases to keep the offense flowing. The crowd rallies behind both men, sensing how evenly matched they are.

Momentum swings back and forth in furious bursts. Dilg reverses a powerbomb into an atomic drop that sends Brown stumbling. Brown answers with a Bossman Slam that shakes the canvas. The pace slows only because both men are exhausted — not because either wants it to.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“This is a war of attrition now!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And neither one knows how to back down!”

Dilg fires off a vertical suplex out of nowhere, buying himself precious seconds, but Brown storms back with the K-9 Clutch and nearly finishes it. Dilg kicks out again, the crowd exploding at his resilience. Brown stays focused, dragging Dilg up one final time and driving him down with a crushing Bossman Slam.

This time, there’s no escape.

One… two… three.

Zack Brown wins.

The bell rings and the arena erupts. Brown helps Dilg to his feet, both men breathing hard. They stare at each other for a moment — then shake hands in the center of the ring to a standing ovation.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“That’s what respect looks like!”

And then the mood shatters.

Mr. X slides into the ring like a predator. He blindsides Dilg, hurling him through the ropes to the floor, and immediately jumps Brown from behind. The crowd roars in shock as the returning menace unloads fists on the champion.

Brown fights back, grabs Mr. X by the collar, and launches him over the top rope with pure fury. Mr. X crashes to the floor and scrambles backward, staring up at the ring with cold fury.

Dilg slides back in, livid at being tossed aside. He leans over the ropes and points straight at Mr. X.

Leopold Dilg shouts that if Mr. X wants a fight, he’ll have to go through him first.

The challenge hangs in the air.

Mr. X smirks… and backs away up the ramp, eyes locked on both men — but especially the champion.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Mr. X just lit a match in a room full of gasoline!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And now he’s got two enemies waiting for him!”

Brown stands tall in the ring, title raised, Dilg at his side — and Mr. X watching from the stage as the tension promises war to come.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Let’s head backstage to hear from the Mouth himself – Truth Wayne.”

Backstage — “Truth Hurts”

The camera cuts to the backstage interview set. A black backdrop with the Truth Hurts logo glows faintly behind the desk. Truth Wayne sits forward in his chair, fingers steepled, eyes sharp. Across from him stand Scarlett Howl and Ruby Howl, both champions holding their titles, both visibly composed — but alert.

Truth smirks.

Truth Wayne:
“Let’s not waste time. You’re not here for pleasantries. You’re here because your division is collapsing into a feeding frenzy.”

Scarlett’s jaw tightens. Ruby stares straight ahead.

Truth Wayne:
“Scarlett… Veronica is circling you like a shark. Every time she opens her mouth, she’s talking about your belt like it’s already hers. Does that get inside your head?”

Scarlett lifts the title slightly on her shoulder.

Scarlett Howl:
“If Veronica wants this, she knows where to find me. I didn’t win this championship by protecting it. I won it by fighting for it.”

Truth nods slowly, unimpressed.

Truth Wayne:
“Brave words. But brave words don’t stop challengers. Ruby… you don’t have one shark chasing you. You’ve got three. Aurora. Grizelda. Luciana. That’s not a queue — that’s a firing line.”

Ruby finally turns her eyes toward Truth.

Ruby Howl:
“They can line up however they want. The result’s the same. They walk in chasing gold… and they walk out understanding why I’m holding it.”

Truth leans forward.

Truth Wayne:
“You both sound confident. Champions always do. But pressure doesn’t break loudly. It cracks quietly. One bad night. One mistake. One challenger who smells hesitation.”

He looks between them.

Truth Wayne:
“So I’ll ask the question everyone backstage is whispering… which one of you cracks first?”

The room goes still.

Scarlett and Ruby glance at each other — not angry, not hostile — but aware. The pressure is real. The challengers are real. The stakes are real.

Scarlett answers first.

Scarlett Howl:
“We don’t crack.”

Ruby follows, voice colder.

Ruby Howl:
“We don’t bend.”

Truth sits back, studying them.

Truth Wayne:
“We’ll see.”

The camera lingers on the two champions standing side by side, titles gleaming under the lights — united, but surrounded by threats closing in from every direction.

Fade out.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“That interview right there shows you the pressure mounting across the women’s division. Every champion has a target, and nobody’s backing down.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And I loved it. No screaming, no chaos — just two champions staring straight into the storm. That’s the kind of tension that breaks people, Mike… and we’re gonna find out who bends first.”

The camera cuts back to the arena as the lights brighten and Starla Nova’s music hits. The crowd responds with a warm, sustained cheer as Starla steps onto the stage, smiling and slapping hands on her way down the ramp. She pauses at ringside, pointing toward the crowd before sliding under the ropes and bouncing lightly in her corner, focused and energized.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Here comes Starla Nova, one of the most resilient competitors in HCW. She’s got heart, she’s got speed, and she never backs away from a fight.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“She’s gonna need all of that tonight, because the woman walking out next doesn’t believe in fair fights — she believes in winning.”

Luciana Albano’s music cuts in sharply, drawing loud boos. Luciana appears at the top of the ramp with Pierre Boulay at her side, both moving with deliberate confidence. Pierre gestures arrogantly toward the crowd while Luciana keeps her eyes locked on the ring. She mouths something cold in Starla’s direction before marching down the aisle.

Luciana steps onto the apron, wipes her boots theatrically, and enters through the ropes as Pierre shouts final instructions from ringside.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Luciana Albano has made it crystal clear — she wants gold, and she’s not willing to wait.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And with Pierre Boulay whispering strategy in her ear, she’s more dangerous than ever. This isn’t just a match for her… it’s a statement.”

The referee calls both women to their corners as the crowd buzzes, anticipation building for the next clash.

Starla Nova and Luciana Albano waste no time circling each other, the crowd buzzing as Pierre Boulay paces at ringside, barking instructions in rapid-fire French. Luciana fires first with a vicious belly-to-back pendulum facebuster, but Starla answers immediately by muscling her up into a thunderous Alabama Slam that rattles the ring.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Starla Nova matching power with power early! She’s not intimidated one bit!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Luciana doesn’t get rattled, Mike — she adapts. That’s what the Albano family does best!”

Starla surges forward, cracking Luciana with a spinning backfist that snaps her head sideways. Boulay slaps the apron in frustration, then seizes an opening as the referee’s back is turned — reaching in and landing a blatant cheap shot that staggers Starla just long enough for Luciana to recover. But Nova refuses to stay down, exploding off the ropes with a breathtaking diving elbow that wipes out the advantage.

Momentum swings hard in Starla’s favor. A second spinning strike and a running blockbuster leave Luciana reeling, the crowd rising as Nova stalks her prey. Luciana digs deep and fires back with a crushing full nelson slam, trying to slow the pace and drag the fight back into her world. The two trade heavy blows in the center of the ring, neither woman willing to yield.

Then chaos strikes.

As Luciana lines up her next attack, The EMPRESS Grizelda appears at ringside, sliding in just long enough to yank Luciana’s ankle and send her crashing face-first into the ropes. The crowd erupts in shock. Boulay spins around in disbelief, screaming at Grizelda, but the damage is done.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“HEY! That’s Grizelda! What is she doing out here?!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“She just changed the entire match, Mike — and Luciana never saw it coming!”

Starla doesn’t hesitate. She launches herself across the ring with a diving crossbody, hooking the leg tight as Honest Abe slides into position.

ONE…
TWO…
THREE!

The bell rings and Starla Nova rolls away, stunned but victorious, while Luciana sits up in fury, immediately locking eyes with Grizelda on the ramp. Boulay is beside himself, shouting threats as officials rush down to prevent escalation.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Starla Nova steals a huge win — but the real story is the war that just ignited!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Grizelda didn’t cost Luciana a match… she declared open season!”

Luciana points up the ramp, screaming a challenge as Grizelda smirks and backs away, tapping the title gesture at her waist. Starla celebrates in the corner, but even she knows she just escaped the crossfire of something much bigger.

The Heritage title picture just got a whole lot more dangerous.

The camera cuts back to ringside as the crowd is still buzzing from Starla Nova’s upset victory. Replays flash on the screen — the diving crossbody, Luciana’s shoulders down, the stunned expression on Pierre Boulay’s face.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“That is a huge win for Starla Nova! Luciana Albano does not get pinned clean very often, and you know that’s going to send shockwaves through the Albano camp.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Pierre Boulay looks like a man who just watched his investment crash, Mike. And when that man starts panicking? Somebody pays for it.”

The camera catches Luciana arguing with officials on the ramp in replay before cutting live to the ring as the lights shift and the energy changes.

A gritty, high-energy rock anthem blasts through the arena.

Julius Squeezer storms out first, slapping hands with fans, jaw set with determination. Biceps Bannerman follows, flexing on the stage to a roar from the crowd. Bruiser McPugg barrels out barking and pounding his chest while O.P. Cunningham jogs onto the stage last, waving to the audience and pointing to the ring.

The four men gather at the top of the ramp, unified.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“This is power, this is heart, and this is a team that’s tired of Dark Dominion intimidation!”

They charge to the ring together, sliding in and playing to the crowd as the arena shakes.

Backstage Cut

The feed abruptly cuts backstage.

Luciana Albano is pacing like a caged animal, furious. Pierre Boulay is trying to calm her but looks just as rattled.

Luciana Albano:
“She embarrassed me! On national television! That witch—”

She stops, looks straight into the camera.

Luciana Albano:
“Grizelda. You want my attention? You have it. I’m not waiting. I’m not negotiating. I’m not signing papers. I want a fight. You and me. Tonight, tomorrow, I don’t care. But I’m taking something from you.”

Pierre steps in smoothly, adjusting his jacket.

Pierre Boulay:
“You see what happens when management lets animals run loose? Vlad should consider keeping his pets on shorter leashes… before they bite the wrong hand.”

Luciana smirks coldly.

The camera cuts out.

Return to Arena

The lights drop to black.

A low, pulsing hum fills the arena.

Then crimson lights ignite the stage.

The Fangs of Despair emerge first — Dr. Red Fang and Nightfang stalking forward with predatory calm. Behind them come the Nightstalkers — Bloodfang and Shadowfang — moving in eerie synchronization.

And finally…

Count Vlad steps onto the stage.

The temperature in the building drops.

He surveys the ring like a king inspecting a battlefield.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Well… speak of the devil.”

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“This just got very, very dangerous.”

The Dominion march to the ring in silence except for the crowd’s uneasy roar. Vlad does not take his eyes off the faces waiting inside.

The war is about to begin.

The bell rings and the match explodes instantly into violence.

All four faces storm Dr. Red Fang in the opening seconds, overwhelming him with a barrage of offense. Biceps Bannerman flattens him with a clothesline, Bruiser McPugg hoists him up and drills a thunderous powerbomb, Julius Squeezer follows with a Steinerline, and OP Cunningham caps the storm with a running clothesline that sends Red Fang rolling across the ring.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“That’s a message! The Dominion just walked into a wall!”

Dr. Red Fang answers back with a flying elbow ram that buys him enough space to crawl to his corner — and that’s when the tone changes.

Count Vlad steps forward.

A small gesture. A flick of the wrist.

Bannerman turns — just for a second — and Red Fang capitalizes. The Dominion begin isolating Biceps in their corner. Nightfang tags in and tears into him with skull crushers and vicious lunges, each strike more surgical than the last. Bannerman absorbs punishment but refuses to go down, staggering back to his feet again and again.

Vlad watches. Calm. Smiling.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“That’s not coaching, Mike. That’s hunting.”

Bannerman finally explodes out of the corner with a spinebuster that shakes the ring and nearly steals the match, but Nightfang escapes. The momentum swings back and forth as the faces rally with another brutal double-team sequence, tossing Shadowfang across the ring and nearly pinning him after a devastating powerslam.

The crowd is roaring.

The ring becomes chaos.

Tags fly. Bodies crash. The Dominion retaliate with their own double-team assault, Shadowfang and Bloodfang crushing Bannerman with a flying headbutt and running powerslam that silences the arena. Bannerman refuses to stay down, dragging himself back into the fight and slamming Shadowfang with a full nelson lift that resets the battlefield.

The match stretches into a war of attrition.

Every man bleeds energy.

Every exchange feels heavier.

Julius Squeezer tags in and flattens Shadowfang with a powerslam that almost ends it. Bruiser McPugg finally enters and brings fresh violence, trading brutal strikes with Nightfang in the center of the ring. The crowd senses the finish building.

Then Vlad moves.

He doesn’t shout.

He doesn’t interfere physically.

He steps closer to the apron… and McPugg turns instinctively.

That heartbeat of distraction is enough.

Nightfang drives a Transylvania Spike into McPugg with surgical precision.

The ring shakes.

Nightfang covers.

1…

2…

3.

The bell rings.

The Dominion stand tall.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“No… not like that… they had this match won!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“That’s why Vlad is dangerous. He doesn’t need to fight. He directs the fight.”

Nightfang rises slowly as the Dominion surround the fallen faces. Vlad steps into the ring with deliberate calm and takes a microphone. The arena quiets instantly.

He looks into the camera.

Not angry.

Not loud.

Measured.

Count Vlad:
“Pierre… you speak of leashes. Of pets.”

He tilts his head slightly.

A thin smile.

Count Vlad:
“You misunderstand the arrangement. I do not keep animals… I release them.”

He lowers the microphone.

The Dominion stand behind him like statues.

The message is delivered.

The lights fade on their silhouettes.

The war is only beginning.

The arena lights dim and a sharp, pulsing synth line cuts through the speakers. The crowd immediately reacts with a wave of boos as crimson lights sweep the stage.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“This is a dangerous pairing right here…”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Dangerous? This is smart, Mike. These two don’t waste motion, don’t waste time, and they don’t waste opportunities.”

Evan Stockwell steps onto the stage first, jaw set, eyes scanning the crowd with cold indifference. He rolls his shoulders once, deliberate, like a man clocking in for work he fully intends to finish. Behind him, Ruth Heartless emerges with slow, controlled confidence. She doesn’t acknowledge the audience — she stares straight ahead, lips curled in the faintest smirk, as if the noise is beneath her.

The boos intensify.

They walk in perfect rhythm down the aisle, neither rushing nor posturing. Stockwell cracks his neck once and slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Ruth steps up onto the apron, pauses, and looks out over the audience like a judge surveying a guilty courtroom before stepping through the ropes.

They take opposite corners, calm and predatory.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“You can feel the tension just standing near them.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“That’s called presence, Mike. Champions have it. Winners have it. And you’re looking at two winners.”

Their music cuts — and the crowd explodes.

A burst of bright gold light hits the stage as a high-energy brass riff blasts through the arena. The reaction is immediate and thunderous.

Lou Albano III charges onto the stage, arms wide, feeding off the noise like it’s oxygen. He points to the crowd, then to the ring, then pounds his chest twice.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Listen to this ovation!”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“He’s gonna need more than cheers tonight…”

Lou sprints halfway down the ramp before slowing, pacing himself, eyes locked on Stockwell and Ruth. He slaps hands with fans along the barricade, soaking in the energy, then slides into the ring in one smooth motion.

He pops to his feet and climbs the nearest turnbuckle, raising a fist high as the arena shakes with cheers. Across the ring, Stockwell watches him like a hunter sizing up prey, while Ruth stands stone-still, unimpressed.

Lou drops down, cracks his neck, and steps forward.

The referee moves in.

The crowd buzzes.

Match #5 is ready to begin.

The bell rings and Lou Albano III charges in hot, refusing to let Stockwell set the tempo. He snaps Evan over with a fast hip roll and immediately follows with a grounded scramble, trying to keep the heel on the defensive.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Lou coming in aggressive — he knows he cannot let Stockwell dictate this match!”

Across the apron, Ruth Heartless calmly points out an opening, her voice cutting through the noise. Stockwell instantly capitalizes, drilling Lou with a sharp bankroll punch that halts the momentum and turns the tide.

From there the match becomes a grinding tug-of-war. Lou fights back with crisp arm work and a punishing backbreaker that draws a roar from the crowd, but Stockwell answers every surge with precision. Turnbuckle slams rattle the ring. Dropkicks snap Lou’s head back. Neither man can hold control for long.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“This is strategy, Mike. Evan’s not emotional — he’s surgical.”

Lou explodes with ground-and-pound offense, hammering away while the audience rallies behind him. He cracks Stockwell with a big boot that echoes through the arena, then another, refusing to back down. But every time Lou gains ground, Stockwell snaps back with ruthless efficiency, driving him spine-first into the corner again and again.

The pace intensifies in the middle stretch. Lou lands another heavy backbreaker, and Stockwell responds with a brutal bull press that nearly folds him in half. The ring shakes with the impact.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“These two are tearing each other apart!”

Then the turning point.

Stockwell traps Lou and locks in the Hostile Takeover submission. Lou screams in pain but refuses to quit, clawing at the mat as the crowd stomps and chants his name. He survives — barely — but the damage is done.

When he staggers to his feet, Stockwell is already moving.

A lightning-fast Dividend Dropkick detonates square on Lou’s jaw. He collapses flat on his back.

Stockwell hooks the leg.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“No — not like this!”

One…
Two…
Three.

The bell rings.

Evan Stockwell releases the pin slowly, rising with cold satisfaction as Ruth Heartless steps into the ring beside him, expression unchanged.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“That’s what happens when precision beats passion!”

Lou rolls to his side, dazed but defiant, as the heels stand tall over him. The crowd showers the ring in boos while Stockwell and Ruth exit with quiet confidence — a calculated victory earned through patience, punishment, and perfect timing.

This match belongs to Evan Stockwell.

Evan and Ruth head to the back as the fans shower them with booing.  Lou gets a nice reaction from the crowd when he heads to the back.

Veronica Flame stares at a replay of the Truth Hurts.  She says loud enough for everyone to hear “I am coming for that title Scarlett.  Warzone…you and me.  I’ll see you there.

Backstage:

Candace Hart:
“Harrison Marks, in just moments you step into the ring in what many are calling the most unpredictable match of the night. All week long, people have been trying to figure you out — are you here to prove something, or are you here to hurt someone?”

Harrison Marks:
(smirks, rolling his shoulders)
“You see, Candace… that’s the problem. Everybody wants neat little labels. Hero. Villain. Favorite. Underdog. I’m none of that. I’m the guy standing in the ring when the bell rings. That’s it.”

He leans closer to the camera, voice lowering.

Harrison Marks:
“I don’t wrestle for approval. I don’t wrestle for cheers. And I sure as hell don’t wrestle to make friends. I wrestle because when I hit someone… when I feel that impact… that’s the only time everything makes sense.”

He cracks his neck, calm but intense.

Harrison Marks:
“My opponent tonight? The so called Rich Athlete?  He’s walking in thinking this is a match. A contest. A sporting event. I’m walking in treating it like a collision. And collisions don’t care who the crowd likes. Collisions don’t care about reputations. They only care about what’s left standing.”

Candace Hart:
“So you’re saying you don’t care how this ends… as long as you walk out?”

Harrison Marks:
(grins)
“No. I care very much how it ends. I want them to remember it. I want them to feel it tomorrow. And the day after. I want every time the Rich Athlete laces his boots, he’ll think about the night they stepped in with Harrison Marks… and lost his precious title..”

He pats Candace’s shoulder, almost friendly.

Harrison Marks:
“That’s not personal. That’s just business.”

Marks walks off toward the curtain, jaw tight, eyes forward.

Candace Hart:
“…There you have it. Harrison Marks is ready — and I don’t think anyone in that locker room is quite sure what version of him is about to walk through that curtain.

Over to you Larry.”

Larry Morton:
“I’m standing backstage with the HCW Television Champion — the Rich Athlete — and his manager, Ruth Heartless. Moments ago, we heard some strong words from Harrison Marks about what he plans to do tonight. Champion, your response?”

The Rich Athlete:
(laughs loudly, adjusting the title on his shoulder)

“Response? Larry… Larry… did you just ask me to respond to that? You mean the motivational poster with abs? The guy talking about collisions like he just discovered gravity?”

He shakes his head, smirking.

The Rich Athlete:
“Let me educate everybody watching at home. This—” (taps the TV title) “—this isn’t won by angry speeches and tough-guy whispers. This is won by class. Precision. Brilliance. And the kind of talent that only comes around once in a generation. And you’re looking at it, baby.  WOOOOOO!”

Ruth Heartless:
(cool, cutting tone)
“Harrison Marks mistakes intensity for importance. Lots of men walk into arenas breathing hard and scowling. Very few walk out champions. The Rich Athlete doesn’t need to bark threats. He is the standard everyone else is measured against.”

The Rich Athlete:
“Exactly! Harrison wants to be remembered? Great! He can remember the night he stepped in with me and realized he’s just another name on a very long list of people who thought they were special.”

He leans closer to the camera, grin widening.

The Rich Athlete:
“I’ve beaten bigger. I’ve beaten meaner. I’ve beaten men who actually won things before they opened their mouths. Harrison Marks is walking into a financial lesson tonight — and I’m the interest rate, daddy.  WOOOOO!”

Ruth Heartless:
“And when this is over, he won’t be talking about collisions. He’ll be talking about recovery time.”

Larry Morton:
“Well… confident words from the champion and his manager. We’ll see if Harrison Marks can back up his claims in the ring.”

The Rich Athlete laughs again, already turning away, title gleaming under the lights as they walk off.

The arena lights dim, the crowd buzzing with anticipation as a single spotlight hits the center of the ring. Tony Calibur stands tall, microphone in hand, his voice echoing through the building.

Tony Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen… this is your MAIN EVENT of the evening!”

The crowd roars.

The lights explode into gold and crimson strobes as a pounding, high-impact guitar riff blasts through the arena. Harrison Marks storms onto the stage through a wall of sparks, jaw set, eyes locked on the ring. He doesn’t pose — he doesn’t smile — he marches forward like a man with a mission.

Tony Calibur:
“Introducing first… the challenger… weighing in at 238 pounds… HARRISON MAAAAARKS!”

Marks slaps the barricade once as he passes, fans reaching out, but he never breaks focus. He slides into the ring and rises to his feet in one fluid motion, pacing like a coiled predator. He stretches the ropes once, then stares up the ramp, daring his opponent to appear.

The lights suddenly drop to black.

A single spotlight hits the stage.

A slow, dramatic orchestral swell begins — rich, theatrical, dripping with arrogance. Gold pyrotechnics rain down like fireworks as The Rich Athlete steps into view wearing his robe, the Television Championship shining on his shoulder. Ruth Heartless walks calmly behind him, expression cold and superior.

The Athlete raises his arms as if the applause is owed to him.

Tony Calibur:
“And his opponent… accompanied by Ruth Heartless… he is the reigning HCW Television Champion… THE RIIIIICH ATHLEEEEETE!”

He takes his time walking to the ring, jawing at fans, mocking them, pointing to the title as if reminding the world who owns the spotlight. Ruth follows with measured steps, scanning the crowd with quiet disdain.

At ringside, the Athlete wipes his boots deliberately on the apron before entering. He steps through the ropes and raises the title high as golden pyro erupts from the ring posts. The crowd showers him in boos — and he soaks it in like applause.

He hands the belt to the referee with a smirk, never taking his eyes off Harrison Marks.

Across the ring, Marks cracks his neck and steps forward.

The tension is electric.

The referee calls them to their corners.

The main event is ready to begin.

The bell rings and the Television Champion immediately tries to slow the pace, circling Harrison Marks and targeting the leg early with a grinding leglock and shin breaker. The Rich Athlete wrestles like a man protecting a fortune, not chasing glory — every movement calculated, every hold designed to steal momentum.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“This is textbook Rich Athlete strategy — he’s not trying to outfight Marks, he’s trying to outlast him.”

Marks answers with raw power. A pumphandle falling powerslam rocks the champion and sends the crowd into a frenzy. The challenger presses forward, hammering the ribs and driving the champion backward with uppercuts that echo through the arena.

The Rich Athlete cuts him off with a brutal Million Dollar kneedrop, then follows with a Seven-Figure Suplex that nearly folds Marks in half. He covers.

1… 2… kickout.

The building explodes.

Marks refuses to stay down. He remind the champion — and everyone watching — that he belongs in the main event. Every comeback is met with louder cheers, every strike fueled by the crowd’s belief that tonight might be the night.

Mid-match, Ruth Heartless steps onto the apron. The distraction is subtle but devastating. Marks turns for half a second — just long enough for the champion to blast him with a chop and steal momentum.

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Come on! That’s the difference-maker right there — and she knows it!”

The Rich Athlete starts throwing Marks out of the ring, using the count like a weapon. Twice he tries to steal it on the floor. Twice Marks claws his way back in, sliding under the ropes at the last possible heartbeat. The crowd roars in approval — Marks is surviving on grit alone.

They trade bombs in the center. Fortune’s Fist connects. Marks fires back with a European uppercut. Neither man gives an inch.

Then it happens.

Marks lifts the champion for another powerslam — the building rises — but the Rich Athlete grabs the tights, twists his weight, and drags him awkwardly into position. One desperate, crooked adjustment…

Seven-Figure Suplex.

The ring shakes.

He hooks the leg deep, fistful of tights hidden from Honest Abe’s view.

1…
2…
3.

The bell rings.

The arena erupts in fury.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“He stole it!”

The Rich Athlete rolls out of the ring instantly, clutching the title to his chest like stolen treasure. He doesn’t celebrate. He doesn’t pose. He runs. Ruth is already guiding him up the ramp, both of them retreating through a storm of boos.

The crowd is livid.

In the ring, Harrison Marks sits up slowly. He realizes what happened. He stands — exhausted, furious — but proud. The fans rise with him, chanting his name. He didn’t lose their respect. If anything, he just earned more of it.

He raises his head.

The champion escaped.

Marks stood tall.

The camera follows the Rich Athlete and Ruth Heartless disappearing behind the curtain, the boos echoing long after they’re gone. In the ring, Harrison Marks leans on the ropes, chest heaving, eyes locked on the entrance. The crowd rises again, chanting his name as he nods to them — not celebrating, but acknowledging the war he just fought.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Ladies and gentlemen, that is a champion who survived — not a champion who conquered. Harrison Marks had him. He had him dead to rights, and it slipped away because of another shortcut.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“You can call it a shortcut all you want, Mike, but the record books don’t say how you win — they say who wins. And the Rich Athlete is still the Television Champion.”

Marks pounds the turnbuckle in frustration, then straightens up as the fans roar louder. He raises a fist, and the arena answers him with a thunderous response.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“Listen to this crowd! They know what they saw. Harrison Marks may not be leaving with the championship… but he’s leaving with the respect of every person in this building.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“And whether you like it or not, the Rich Athlete leaves with the gold. That’s the business.”

Marks gives one final look up the ramp before stepping through the ropes, slapping hands with fans at ringside as the camera lingers on the standing ovation.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“What a main event. What a fight. And you have to believe — this is not over.”

Johnny “the Hammer” Harris:
“Not even close.”

The shot widens to the roaring crowd as Harrison exits, still standing tall in defeat.

Mike “the Voice” Johnson:
“For Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris, I’m Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson — thank you for joining us tonight. Good night, everybody!”

The screen fades out on the sound of the crowd chanting Marks’ name.

Closing Shot

Camera cuts backstage:

Vlad watching monitors.

Smiles.

Whispers:

“Good. Let them chase.”

Fade out.
