Hello fans and welcome to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. In an effort to get caught up on the shows, the results will be abbreviated.
The
show kicks off with GM Max McGillicutty coming out. He says that because of the injury Master
Bull sustained, he will not be able to defend the TV title moving forward and
therefore must vacate the belt. This
brings out Master Bull (all bandaged up) who gets a standing ovation from the
crowd. Bull says that he wasn’t hurt too
seriously but the extent of the injury won’t allow him to be the TV Champion
that HCW needs. With that, he announces
his retirement from HCW. The fans let
out a collective gasp. He thanks the
fans for their years of support and gets ready to leave when the Banker comes
out. The Banker laughs at Bull and says
that if he can’t wrestle anymore, he must forfeit the belt to him (the
Banker). Max condemns the Banker for
taking it this far and lets him know that the belt is NOT just going to be
handed to him but a battle royal will be held to determine the new
champion. The Banker is beside
himself. Max tells him to cool his jets. He will be in the battle royal too. The Banker smirks and then leaves to the
back. Max and Master Bull take their
leave too.
Match
#1: Otto Ruthless vs Adam Jameson – the match
was pretty evenly matched but finished quickly as Adam gets the win with a
single leg take down followed by a pin.

Match
#2: Goldie Locks vs Kimberly Kiccsass. The Former Queen of HCW had her hands full
with Kimberly but also Penny Hall, who made her way out to taunt Goldie from
ringside. At the 18 minute mark,
Kimberly whipped Goldie into the ropes but Penny tried to trip her. After stumbling a bit, Kimberly nailed a
clothesline and then a roll up (with a handful of tights) to score the
1-2-3. After the match, Penny taunted
Goldie until the former Queen had enough and chased Penny to the back. (18 min)

#3: It’s Hardcore title defense time
with Dr. Red Fang © taking on Snake Pit member Leiton Snake. The rules are set up as ECW rules which forbade
the Ambassador from getting involved but this time he did accompany the evil
vampire to the ring. Fang still had not
recovered from the Elimination Chamber so this was a disadvantage to the champ
and it showed. At the 13 minute mark,
Leiton hits a diving somersault neckbreaker and scores the pin and becomes the
NEW Hardcore Champion. After the match,
the Ambassador had words for the new champ and Leiton agreed to give Fang a
rematch at the PPV. The Ambassador
accepted. Fang and his manager left with
Leiton and his new championship following right after.
Match
#4: World Tag Team title match: Steel Curtain vs Niven & Tobias
Snake. The Snake Pit took the lead early
on but the champs eventually made their way back. This one ended up going the distance. At the 30 minute mark, Tobias hit the Dirty
Deeds DDT but time ran out before he could get the 3 count. This one ends on a draw finish. After the match, Tommy Lightning and Derek
Deveraux attacked the Steel Curtain while the Muscles attacked the Snake
Pit. New Hardcore Champion Leiton Snake
joined his brothers in fighting off the Trio but all 10 individuals fought each
other all the way to the back.

#5: Our Main Event. US Title Match Wilber vs Texas Wildfire in a
last man standing match for the title. Texas Wildfire came out first to a huge
pop. He made his way down to the ring
high fiving with the fans. Once in the
ring, the music and atmosphere changed and out comes the US Champion Wilber
Townsend wearing his deformed Pennywise mask. He slowly makes his way to the
ring trying to play mind games with TW.
He gets into the ring and immediately attacks Wildfire. The ref states the rules are ‘Last Man
Standing’.

lucky. Wilber takes his title from the
ref cackling loudly. He makes his way to
the back. Texas Wildfire gets a nice pop
from the crowd as he makes his way to the back.
Just
as the show is about to end, a graphic flashes up on the Omegatron: The second inductee into the HCW Class of
2022 Hall of Fame is….Master Bull! The fans
pop at the announcement and with that, the show comes to an end.
