Hello fans. Well, we have egg on our face. It appears that the PPV happened and one match was left off the card…Abyss vs Christian for the US title. Well, the following night, this match happened. Here is how it went down.
Christian starts off with a falling inverted ddt. Christian then picked up Abyss and hit another but Abyss pulled out a Blackhole slam and went for a pin. The ref counted 1…2…and Christian kicked out. Abyss hits an eye gouge and Christian goes to the ropes and connects with a spinning backbreaker. He goes for a pin but only gets a two count. Christian hits a springboard plancha and makes the cover but Abyss kicks out at 1. Christian hits a flapjack and makes the cover but Abyss is quick to kick out. Abyss powers back with a huge boot to the face. Christian hits another springboard plancha and makes the cover but Abyss kicks out. Christian hits a dropkick and Abyss hits a top rope guillotine. Christian hits another dropkick and catches Abyss right in the face. I think he got knocked out. Christian makes the cover and the ref counts 1…2..3. Christian wins the match and is the NEW US Champion.
We apologize to both men for leaving this match off the PPV.
