Hello fans. This was an action packed evening so lets get right down to the details.
The first match of the night had Kurt Angle taking on the Big Show. Angle starts off by kicking Big Show out of the ring. A frustrated Big Show stayed on the outside until the 9 count and then rolled back in. Angle started to choke out Show but BS came back with a Cutting Edge. He gets a one count. Angle hits a belly to belly suplex and then Show nails a chokeslam. He makes the cover but Angle kicks out at two. Show nails a giant headbutt and goes for a pin but Angle kicks out. Show is then tossed to the outside again but is back in at 5. As soon as Show is back in the ring, Angle nails an Olympic Slam but that took a lot out of him and he did not make a pin attempt. Show gets up and nails a clothesline. He goes for a pin but Kurt kicks out. Angle goes for the choke and Show breaks the move with an eye rake. Kurt then nails a backbreaker and Show basically falls on him. Angle then kicks Show in the face. An Olympic leg sweep from the champ is met with an eye rake from the challenger. Angle then hits a clothesline. Angle then goes to the ropes and nails the Olympic Slam. Somehow Show gets up, nails a Chokeslam and then they both fall down. The ref begins his count and slowly both men make it back to their feet. Show acts first connecting with an eye rake. Kurt goes for a bodyslam but Show’s bulk is just too much and he falls on him. The ref makes the count but somehow Kurt kicks out at 2. Angle musters up some intestinal fortitude and nails a belly to belly suplex. He follows it up with a kick to Show’s face. Show hits another eye rake and Angle locks in the Ankle lock. Show is able to make it to the ropes. Angle hits an Olympic leg sweep and Show stands on Angle’s neck. Show hits an eye rake and then is tossed to the outside. He makes it back in by the 7 count. Kurt tries to choke out Show but Show powers out of it and nails a chokeslam. He makes the cover and the ref counts 1….2…..3. Big Show wins the match and is the NEW North American Champion.
Next up is Kennedy vs Negronomicon for the CSWA TV title. N starts it all off with a thrust kick. He tries for a second one but Kennedy gets out of the way. Kennedy hits a green bay plunge but only gets a 1 count. N comes back with a bitch slap. Kennedy hits the GBP again but still only gets a 1 count. N comes back with a Black Doom but no pin attempt. N follows it up with a dragon suplex. N hits another thrust kick. Kennedy comes back with an inverted suplex. Kennedy then hits a spike DDT in the middle of the ring and makes the cover. The ref counts 1…2….3. Kennedy retains the Cruiserweight title. After the match, Kennedy pulled N to the outside of the ring and delivered a spike DDT on the concrete floor. N was busted open. Medics came from the back, put N on a stretcher and took him to the back.
Kennedy then took a mic and called down World Champion Rey Mysterio and demaned his title shot now. Before the bell rang, Mysterio asked if Kennedy really wanted to do this right now. Kennedy screamed at him and the match began. As the match got underway, Negronomicon came from the back with his head all bandaged up. This threw Kennedy off his game. Kennedy got 2 offensive moves in this very short 6 minute match. The champ was able to finish off Kennedy with a hurricanrana and a clean pin in the middle of the ring. After the match, N got in the ring with a steel chair. He nailed Kennedy across his back once before the Cruiserweight champion bailed out of the ring. N left to the ovation of the fans.
UP next was AJ Styles defending the X-division title against Cody Rhodes. Styles kept flying around the ring and never gave Cody any chance to do anything. AJ gets the win in 11 minutes with a gut buster to retain his title.
Undertaker vs. Kane was up next. Taker starts off with a clothesline. Kane executes a scoop slam but Taker comes in and locks in the Triangle choke. Kane won’t tap and is able to make it to the ropes. After connecting with a clothesline, Taker is tossed to the outside of the ring but he makes it back in at 8. Taker calles for the Last Ride and connects but Kane is up and nails a Chokeslam from Hell. Taker goes for Old School but Kane counters and nails a clothesline from the top rope. He goes for a pin but Taker kicks out. Kane hits a scoop slam but Taker hits the Last Ride. He goes for the pin but only gets 2. Taker slams Kane in the corner and then gets dumped out of the ring. He makes it back in at 9. Taker hits a clothesline as Kane slams him. Kane stands on Taker’s throat but then gets caught in the Triangle choke. He immediately grabs the rope to break the hold. Another slam from Kane and another rTriangle Choke from Taker. Taker mixes things up by nailing a chokeslam of his own. Kane goes to stand on Taker’s throat but he powers out
of it and nails a tombstone piledriver. He goes for the pin and gets the 1.2.3. Undertaker retains the HWF World title.
HHH vs. Randy Orton was up next. These two have no love loss for each other so HHH started off strong with a kneedrop to Orton’s face. He then hit the upstart with a standing suplex and followed it up with rapid punches to his face. HHH manages some DX interference but Orton nailed him with a dropkick. Orton then goes to throw HHH out of the ring but before he could accomplish that, HHH nails the Pedigree and gets the 1.2.3. HHH wins the match and retains the TV title.
Up next was the match for the tag team titles. The champs MW3 and the Super Warrior were defending against the team of Matt Hardy and John Morrision. Morrison started off by hitting a Russian leg sweep on MW3. Matt Hardy is tagged in and MW3 hits an insiguri and Hardy nails a kick to gut. SW is tagged in. Hardy meets him with a dropkick from the top rope. All 4 men made many tags in a nd out. SW hit a Super Powerbomb, Morrison hit the Starship Pain and Matt Hardy hit a twist of fate. The end came when, during adoubleteam, Hardy hit a twist of fate and Morrison then tossed him from the ring. MW3 quickly grabbed SW and the tag titles and took off towards the back. They ended up getting counted out. Morrison and Hardy win the match but do not win the tag team titles.
The second to final match is Edge defending the IC title against Kurt Angle. Edge immediately connects with a spear. Angle rolls out of the ring, takes some time to recover and comes back in. Kurt hits a boot to face and Edge hits another spear. He goes for the pin but Kurt kicks out at 1. Angle tries for a bearhug but Edge neutralizes it. Edge hits a bodyslam and goes for the pin but Kurt kicks out. Kurt nails an Olympic Leg Sweep and Edge clotheslines him out of the ring. Kurt makes it back in at 7. Edge cinches in a headlock and Kurt hits a clothesline. Edge hits a One Man Concerto and Kurt responds by choking Edge. Edge hits some rapid dropkicks and Kurt hits the leg sweep. Edge hits some more dropkicks and Kurt nails a belly to belly suplex out of nowhere. Edge locks in a headlock and Kurt takes him down with another belly to belly suplex. More dropkicks from Edge and a boot to the face. Kurt follows it up with a leg sweep. A bodyslam from Edge and another leg sweep from the Olympic hero. Kurt hits a clothesline and Edge nails a DDT in the middle of the ring. He goes for a pin but Kurt kicks out at 1. Kurt is clotheslined out of the ring but he makes it back in at 5. Edge hits a One Man Concerto but Angle hits the Angle Slam. He makes the cover and the ref counts 1…2…3! Kurt Angle wins the match and is the NEW IINTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION.
Since neither Undertaker or Mysterio lost their belts, this final match would be for the Undisputed Championship. Mysterio starts off strong with a flying headscissors but Taker hits a chokeslam. Taker then goes for a choke in the corner but Rey gets out of the way and nails a spinning heel kick. Taker goes for a clothesline but Rey ducks. Rey hits a flying dropkick as as he gets up, Taker locks in the triangle choke. Rey makes it to the ropes. He climbs the turnbuckle and nails a dropkick and then Taker goes to the ropes and nails a huge clothesline. He then throws Rey forcibly into the corner. Rey fights back with some chops and Taker hits a chokeslam. Rey then goes to the ropes but Undertaker nails a huge clothesline on him. Rey somehow kicks Taker out of the ring but he is back in at 7. Rey nails a big headscissors and goes for a pin but UT kicks out at one. Taker manages to hit a chokeslam. Taker nails a clothesline but Rey hits a hurricanrana. Rey makes the cover and the ref counts 1….2….3. Rey Mysterio is the winner of the match and still the Undisputed Champion.
