HCW SPECIAL – COUNTDOWN TO REIGN OF CHAMPIONS

Welcome to the Reign of Champions Roundtable. Let’s get this over with before Mike cries about justice again."
Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson (deadpan): "Let me guess, Truth—Count Vlad’s already told you what the outcome will be? Or are you just rooting for whoever cheats the most?"
Truth Wayne (smriking): “Haters gonna Hate Mikey.”
Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: "This card is the most stacked event HCW’s put on all year. And if the faces show up and fight with heart—something the Dominion can’t buy—we’ll see new champions across the board."
J.R. Holland: "Reign of Champions is where legacies either ascend or die. And this year, the pressure isn’t just on the challengers—it’s on the Dominion to keep their empire from fracturing."
Candace Hart: "From top to bottom, the women’s division is in full focus. But make no mistake—every single match on this card matters. Titles. Power. Identity. It’s all on the line."
Rick Granger (chuckling): "You all keep preaching resistance. Meanwhile, Count Vlad’s polishing eight belts. When will you learn?"
Sam Duffy: "When the people holding those belts get knocked flat on their backs and someone worthy finally stands over them."
Larry Morton: "There’s a reckoning coming. And Reign of Champions is the battleground where momentum shifts. This could be the start of HCW taking back control."
Dave ‘the Brute’ Kent: "Or it’s another step toward total Dominion. Either way, someone’s getting humbled. Let’s crack open the card."
MATCH 1: TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
Beastfang (c) w/Count Vlad vs. The Rich Athlete
Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: "Beastfang’s an animal, and I mean that as a compliment. He’s earned that title. The Rich Athlete? More interested in showing off than showing up."
Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: "I’m with Mike. Rich might be a technician, but if he thinks he can finesse his way through this one, Beastfang’s going to eat him alive."
J.R. Holland: "This is a classic clash of brute force and ego. And ego gets cracked when it forgets to protect the jaw."
Dave ‘the Brute’ Kent: “The Rich Athlete is a walking commercial. Good hair, zero grit. Beastfang may be Vlad’s lapdog, but he bites harder than anything the Athlete’s ever trained with. Unless Rich plans to throw his wallet at him, he’s going to get folded like a gym towel.”
Candace Hart: "The Rich Athlete is strategic, but Beastfang is primal. If the ref doesn’t keep this tight, the claws come out early."
Sam Duffy: "Beastfang wins this if he doesn’t get distracted by Count Vlad’s whispers. He’s better when he just fights."
Rick Granger: "The Athlete wins this. You all just hate success in a suit."
Larry Morton: "Beastfang’s got the hunger. The Athlete’s got the arrogance. And hunger beats arrogance most nights."
Truth Wayne: “The only thing bigger than Beastfang’s shoulders is his appetite, and trust me—he’s gonna choke on his own intensity. The Rich Athlete isn’t a man—he’s a brand. And that brand is ‘WINNING.’ Look it up, peasants.”
MATCH 2: HERITAGE WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP
Talia Nocturne (c) w/Count Vlad vs. Luciana Albano w/Pierre Boulay
Candace Hart:
"Luciana’s tough, she’s focused, and she’s got that Albano intensity. But Talia? She’s married to that belt. She won’t let it go easy."
J.R. Holland: "Talia’s grace masks a ruthless edge. But Luciana has nothing to lose—and that makes her dangerous."
Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: "Luciana will bring the fight. But Talia knows how to endure pain—physical and mental. That belt means more to her than gold."

Dave ‘the Brute’ Kent: “Talia’s been dragging this title around like it’s her emotional support animal. She used to command presence—now she’s just clinging to it. Luciana’s got the killer instinct. Boulay’s the brains. And together? They’re bringing an end to the pity parade.”
Larry Morton: "This one’s a coin flip. But experience usually beats ambition. Usually."
Truth Wayne: “This match is like wine versus whiskey. Talia’s graceful, sure—but Luciana? She’s a Molotov cocktail in stilettos. And with Pierre calling shots like a mafioso at a wedding, Talia’s title reign is going the way of disco—outdated and embarrassing. Pierre is three steps ahead of all of you. Luciana takes that title—and it’s not even close."

MATCH #3 – HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP:
The Morningstar vs Owen Zestwell
Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: “You talk about violence… this is biblical. The Morningstar is cold fire—controlled destruction. But Owen Zestwell is pure fury. He’s a loose cannon wrapped in barbed wire.”
Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: “This match is a warning to the rest of the locker room. Morningstar wants domination, Owen wants release. Someone’s walking out with the title, but neither’s walking out the same.”
J.R. Holland: “Morningstar doesn’t just beat people—he unravels them. But what makes Owen so compelling is that unraveling is his comfort zone. He finds order inside disorder. That’s terrifying.”
Candace Hart: “There’s a difference between enduring pain and needing it. And I honestly don’t know which category either man falls into. That’s what makes this such a dangerous match. Don’t forget that Thaddeus will probably be lurking around in the back. He has had it out for Owen since day one.”
Sam Duffy: “This could be the bloodiest match of the night. Owen’s taken every risk just to prove he belongs. But if he walks out with the belt, he won’t be the same kid. He’ll be something darker.”
Rick Granger (grinning): “Good. Maybe then he’ll finally matter. Right now, he’s a crash test dummy with daddy issues. Morningstar’s a religious experience, and Owen’s about to get baptized in pain.”
Larry Morton: “Owen’s not a dummy. He’s a powder keg waiting for a match. And Morningstar might just light it. That could mean a new champion—or a stretcher job for both.”
Dave ‘The Brute’ Kent: “I love this match. No politics. No chessboard. Just violence. Morningstar will push Owen past his threshold. Question is—does Zestwell have one?”
Truth Wayne: “Owen’s not fighting to win. He’s fighting because he forgot his meds and thinks he’s invincible. Morningstar’s gonna send him straight to confession—through a stack of chairs and his own shattered dreams. Oh, and if Thaddeus does show up, Owen for sure will kiss any aspirations goodbye.”
MATCH #4 – IRON MAIDENS TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS:
Scarlett Howl & Mina Harker vs The Cummings Twins
Candace Hart: “This one is personal for me. Scarlett and Mina have walked a hard road. They’ve faced doubt, trauma, the supernatural. But the Cummings Twins are no joke—chemistry, strength, and heart. This match could make or break the future of the women’s tag division.”
Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “Scarlett and Mina have this almost unspoken bond—like they’ve been preparing for this final without even saying it. But the Cummings Twins are the most consistent team in the tournament. That consistency could win them gold.”
Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “You want a war of wills? This is it. Scarlett’s wild, Mina’s brooding, and the Cummings girls bring a toughness that’s flown under the radar for far too long.”
J.R. Holland: “What worries me isn’t the Cummings Twins—it’s Mina. She has been distracted as of late and what if whatever is bothering her starts influencing her during the match… this could implode in real time.”
Sam Duffy: “If it stays 2-on-2, straight up? I lean Scarlett and Mina. They’ve tapped into something deeper. But if anything gets in the way, the Cummings Twins might outlast the collapse.”
Rick Granger: “Collapse? I hope she collapses. Nothing would be more poetic than watching Mina Harker tear her own house down. The Cummings girls will win just by staying out of the wreckage.”
Larry Morton: “I don’t think Mina’s going to fall apart. I think she’s going to fight harder—because she knows she’s close to the edge. And Scarlett? She’s ready to drag someone off it if they try to push her.”
Dave ‘the Brute’ Kent: “The Cummings Twins are a cohesive, clean-cut package. Too clean. Scarlett and Mina? They’re something darker, deeper—unresolved trauma in knee pads. If Mina holds it together, they make history. If not? We witness a meltdown live on PPV.”
Truth Wayne: “Scarlett Howl? Unstable. Mina Harker? One blood moon away from biting her partner. And the Cummings Twins? Overrated Instagram influencers with headlocks. Can we just fast forward to the part where Mina cracks and sets the world on fire?”
MATCH #5 – HERITAGE TAG TEAM TITLES:
The Fangs of Despair vs Samoan Bloodline
Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “This one is war. You’ve got primal aggression versus tribal pride. The Fangs are vicious, but the Bloodline doesn’t flinch. Raku and Tumu are here to fight—not to survive, but to win.”
Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “The Samoan Bloodline has been the resistance force against Vlad’s tyranny. They want those titles because they mean something. The Fangs? They want trophies. That’s the difference.”
Sam Duffy: “No team has pushed the Fangs like this before. And that boot camp style, that bond of legacy and fire… I think this might be the Dominion’s biggest threat of the night.”
Candace Hart: “And let’s not forget—Tumu is a monster in his own right. You throw hands with him, you’d better have fangs of steel. Raku brings the soul. Tumu brings the punishment.”
Larry Morton: “Count Vlad built the Fangs to intimidate, but the Samoans are fearless. You can't scare someone who’s been through the fire already.”
J.R. Holland: “This is the definition of a momentum match. If the Samoan Bloodline wins, the Dominion cracks. If the Fangs win? The locker room starts feeling hopeless again.”
Rick Granger: “Hope doesn’t win titles. Teeth do. And the Fangs have sharper ones. They’ve been waiting to feast on this so-called Bloodline. That wait ends now.”
Dave ‘the Brute’ Kent: “The Fangs are blunt force trauma. The Samoans? They’re trying to prove legacy still matters. This won’t be pretty. It’ll be primal. But if the Samoans don’t win here, they’ll slide back into irrelevance while the Fangs keep snarling.”
Truth Wayne: “This is like watching King Kong vs. Godzilla—except Kong actually showers. The Fangs eat hype for breakfast, and the Bloodline? They’ve been living off of tribal chants and delusions. Time to thin the herd.”
MATCH #6 – UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP
Mr. X (c) vs Wilber Townsend w/Count Vlad
Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: “This is the match I’m most torn on. Mr. X has been the only line of defense keeping the U.S. Title away from the Dark Dominion. But Wilber Townsend—Terror Fang—is unlike anyone he’s faced. He’s unpredictable, he’s eerie, and he’s fueled by something beyond strategy.”
Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: “I don’t trust Wilber, not one bit. But I’ll give him this—he’s got more conviction in his madness than most people have in their entire careers. If Mr. X slips for even one second, that belt is gone.”
J.R. Holland: “Mr. X is surgical. Cold, calculated. But Wilber thrives in chaos. This won’t be a wrestling match—it’ll be a philosophical brawl. What wins: structure, or savagery with a smile?”
Sam Duffy: “We’ve seen Wilber channel fear into power. And he wants this belt. He’s not just doing Vlad’s bidding—he sees this as his validation. That makes him more dangerous than usual.”
Candace Hart: “Wilber’s creepy, sure. But Mr. X is stone. No emotion. No panic. That gives him an edge. If he can avoid the theatrics and just wrestle, I think he walks out still champion.”
Larry Morton: “The question isn’t whether Wilber has the tools. He does. The question is whether Mr. X can outlast the psychological warfare. He’ll have to be as ruthless as he is smart. Because Wilber? He doesn’t feel pain the same way the rest of us do.”
Rick Granger: “This is the easiest call of the night. Wilber takes it. Mr. X is a tactician, but this isn’t a match you win with clean holds and wristlocks. Vlad is sending his nightmare to collect the last piece of gold. And I, for one, can’t wait.”
Dave ‘The Brute’ Kent: “Mr. X is too smart to walk in blind. But here’s the problem— Wilber Townsend is a lunatic in boots who doesn’t play by any known rules but he’s more calculated than people give him credit for. You can scout a human. What do you do when you’re facing a philosophy? A madness wrapped in ritual? I give Wilber the edge, but only because Mr. X may not understand what he’s in for until it’s too late.”
Truth Wayne: “Finally. A title that should already be back in Vlad’s collection. Mr. X has done well keeping the belt warm, but this ends now. Wilber doesn’t even need to win clean—he just needs to smile and the kingdom falls into place. Dominion completes its conquest. Get ready to salute your new U.S. champion.”
MATCH #7 – WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
The Nightstalkers (c) w/Count Vlad vs The New Sicilians w/Pierre Boulay
Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: “This match reeks of manipulation. You’ve got Count Vlad in one corner, Pierre Boulay in the other—neither man cares about rules, only about domination. But in terms of sheer aggression? The Nightstalkers are brutal. The Sicilians will have to outsmart them to survive.”
Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: “The New Sicilians are snakes—but they’re calculating snakes. If anyone can navigate the Dominion’s mind games and turn them around, it’s those two thugs from the back alleys. I hate saying it—but they’ve got a shot here.”
J.R. Holland: “This is a match built on intimidation and ego. The Nightstalkers aren’t afraid of anyone—but that might be their flaw. The Sicilians thrive on being underestimated. If the champs get too confident, Boulay’s boys will rob them blind.”
Sam Duffy: “Let’s not forget—Dirty Dick and Vicious Vinnie have been lurking in the shadows for months. They’ve picked their moment. If the Nightstalkers don’t smother them early, this one’s slipping away.”
Candace Hart: “Boulay has trained these two to fight smart. Not clean, not fair—just smart. And in a match where chaos is expected, that might be their biggest strength.”
Larry Morton: “I’ve seen the Sicilians win matches they had no business winning. I’ve seen the Nightstalkers hurt people with purpose. This is the definition of a collision—and if things go south, don’t be surprised if this turns into a gang war.”
Rick Granger: “This is the match I’m watching with a cigar and a glass of something expensive. Because win or lose, the New Sicilians are leaving a mark. And if the Dominion slips for even a second, Boulay’s collecting another set of titles.”
Dave ‘The Brute’ Kent: “These two teams are cut from the same cloth—just different creeds. I don’t see this ending clean. Chairs. Chainshots. Maybe even a blackout. But if the Sicilians survive the first wave, they’ll outfox the monsters. The Sicilians have all the tools—and none of the discipline. The Nightstalkers? They’re not champions. Selena 'Widow’s Fang' Blackfang (c) w/Count Vlad vs Ashley Summers w/Ruth Heartless

Jack 'Timberfang' Lumber (c) vs The Wicked Prophet vs Zack 'Commando' Brown
(Triple Threat Match)
Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “You want to talk stakes? This isn’t just about the title—this is about who runs HCW. Jack Lumber is the champion of the people, Prophet is the whispering snake behind the throne, and Zack Brown is the fighter who’s been cheated, betrayed, and stabbed in the back just to get here.”
Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “Zack Brown should already be champion. The fans know it. The locker room knows it. Jack’s heart is in the right place, but this title win didn’t happen the way he wanted it to. If anyone deserves redemption—it’s Commando.”

I don’t care if you’re a face, a heel, or a mascot—leave it all in the ring. Because if this show underdelivers, it won’t just be a loss—it’ll be an obituary for HCW’s credibility. Buy the ticket. Rick Granger (shrugging with a grin): “I couldn’t care less who wins—as long as they beat the hell out of each other and keep me entertained. But if it ends with Vlad holding more gold? Even better.”
Truth Wayne (smugly): “Spoken like a man with taste.”
Candace Hart: “Spoken like a man who’s fine with HCW turning into a wasteland.”
Larry Morton: “Not if the right people win, Candace. And I believe they will.”
Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “We’ll see you at Reign of Champions. Be there, or watch history pass you by.”
