[OPENING SHOT – WIDE ARENA PAN]
Pyro explodes across the stage as the crowd roars. The HCW Voltage logo flashes across the screen and the camera sweeps over a packed arena buzzing with anticipation.

Sam Duffy:
“Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter!”

Rick Granger:
“And what a night we have in store for you on HCW Voltage! Sam, this card is absolutely loaded — and not just with matches, but with consequences.”

Sam Duffy:
“That’s right, Rick. We’ve got two rising stars kicking things off as Aurora Storm goes one-on-one with Daphne Ashcroft, we’ve got a hard-hitting showdown between Dominic Marconi and Jake Montrose, and later tonight, Ashen Vicar steps back into the ring against Nightfang… with Count Vlad watching closely.”

Rick Granger:
“And you know any time Vlad is watching, something is about to go very, very wrong.”

Sam Duffy:
“Plus, Jet Moreno continues his climb as he takes on Evan Stockwell, who will be accompanied by Ruth Heartless — and that alone should tell you this won’t be a fair fight.”

Rick Granger:
“And let’s not forget what’s hanging over the entire night — the ongoing war between Korbi Kong and the Dark Dominion. Mina Harker and Grizelda are here, Vlad is here… and somehow, some way, it feels like things are coming to a head.”

Sam Duffy:
“We don’t know what form that’s going to take yet, but one thing is certain — tensions are high, alliances are shifting, and nothing feels stable anymore.”

Rick Granger:
“So buckle up, because HCW Voltage starts right now!”

A sharp, dramatic theme hits as Daphne Ashcroft steps out onto the stage. The camera catches her taking a steady breath, soaking in the reaction, then nodding to herself with quiet confidence. The crowd gives her a solid, supportive cheer as she starts down the ramp.

Sam Duffy:
“And here comes Daphne Ashcroft. Still early in her HCW journey, but every time she’s stepped into this ring, she’s shown poise and composure well beyond her experience.”

Daphne slides into the ring, rises, and gives a small nod to the crowd, then paces the ring, loosening her shoulders and keeping her eyes on the entrance ramp.

Rick Granger:
“Poise is great. But this is the part where we find out how she handles pressure. Everyone looks good until someone hits them back.”

Daphne removes her jacket, hands it to the official, and settles into her corner, focused and ready.

The arena lights brighten as Aurora Storm’s music hits, and the crowd responds with an even bigger cheer. Aurora steps onto the stage with visible energy, throwing her arms out wide and turning in a slow circle to acknowledge the fans before pointing toward the ring.

Sam Duffy:
“And listen to this reaction for Aurora Storm. She has made an immediate impression since arriving in HCW, and you can feel the crowd starting to rally behind her.”

Aurora jogs down the ramp, slaps a few hands at ringside, then hops up onto the apron and steps through the ropes, never taking her eyes off Daphne.

Rick Granger:
“Confidence is a powerful thing, Sam. But it can turn into overconfidence real quick. Tonight, she finds out which side of that line she’s on.”

Aurora climbs the turnbuckle, raises a fist to the crowd, and then drops down, turning to face Daphne as the referee brings both women toward the center of the ring.

Sam Duffy:
“Two competitors, two rising careers, and only one of them is walking out of here with momentum tonight.”

Rick Granger:
“And the other one learns a very important lesson.”

[REFEREE CALLS FOR THE BELL]

Referee: ‘Honest’ Abe

Aurora and Daphne circle, both cautious—then they collide in the lock-up and immediately fight for control. Aurora tries to bend Daphne into a punishing surfboard, stretching her spine and shoulders, but Daphne grits through it, muscles up, and powers Aurora into the air—

Daphne drops her with a thunderous Gory Bomb, shaking the ring and forcing Aurora to roll out toward the ropes just to breathe.

Sam Duffy:
“Daphne Ashcroft wasting no time! She’s making a statement early!”

Rick Granger:
“That’s how you shut down the flashy stuff. Put ‘em on the canvas and make ‘em think twice.”

Aurora returns fast, trying to reassert control—again she hooks Daphne into that surfboard, wrenching back hard—but Daphne refuses to fold. She powers free and plants Aurora again with another Gory Bomb attempt, forcing Aurora to scramble and adjust.

Aurora changes tempo. She darts in and cracks Daphne with a running knee—Lighting Breaker—snapping Daphne’s head back and popping the crowd. Daphne staggers, but responds with a crisp Northern Lights Suplex, bridging beautifully before releasing to stay on the attack.

Aurora tries to slow it down once more, dragging Daphne into another surfboard stretch, and this time Daphne absorbs it—jaw clenched, arms shaking—refusing to give Aurora the satisfaction of a tap or a scream.

Aurora goes aerial—launching and crashing down with a 450 Splash—and the crowd erupts as Daphne’s body bounces off the mat. Aurora hooks the leg—

‘Honest’ Abe drops for the count—Daphne kicks out.

Daphne, rocked, tries to regain control and hoists Aurora again for the Gory Bomb—but Aurora shifts her weight, slips down, and neutralizes the lift before Daphne can drive her.

Aurora explodes forward again—another Lighting Breaker flush to the jaw—and Daphne drops to a knee. Aurora stacks her up immediately.

Sam Duffy:
“Got her! That could be it!”

‘Honest’ Abe:
“ONE… TWO—”

Daphne kicks out hard, shoving Aurora away and forcing her to reset.

Rick Granger:
“See, that’s the danger, Sam. Aurora’s learning in real time—she hits you once, she doesn’t admire it. She hunts the finish.”

They trade impact—Aurora catches Daphne with an Alley Oop Facebuster, but Daphne answers by brute force, dragging Aurora back up and driving her down with yet another punishing Gory Bomb. Aurora fights to her feet, wincing, shaking out her arms, and fires back with The Eye of the Storm, a sit-out slam that rattles Daphne.

Daphne refuses to fade. She rallies and spikes Aurora with La Rosa Driver, and for a moment it looks like Daphne might steal it—Aurora rolls away at the last second, grabbing the ropes and pulling herself upright.

Aurora finds a final surge. She catches Daphne off-balance, scoops, and drives her down again with the Alley Oop Facebuster—but this one is cleaner, heavier, and Daphne collapses flat.

Aurora hooks the leg deep.

‘Honest’ Abe:
“ONE… TWO… THREE!”

[BELL RINGS]

Sam Duffy:
“Aurora Storm did it! Aurora Storm picks up the win in Match #1!”

Rick Granger:
“Give Daphne credit—she fought like she belonged in there. But Aurora? Aurora learned the rhythm, found the opening, and she didn’t hesitate.”

Aurora rises slowly, breathing hard, then offers Daphne a hand. Daphne hesitates—still stunned—then takes it. The crowd applauds as Aurora raises a fist and backs toward the ropes, letting Daphne have her moment to recover.

Sam Duffy:
“That’s what you want to see from two rising talents—toughness, respect, and a win that means something.”

Rick Granger:
“Yeah. And the one who lost? She better remember the feeling. Because this place doesn’t wait on anybody.”

[CAMERA PULLS BACK as Aurora celebrates, Daphne regroups, and the crowd stays loud heading into the rest of the night.]

[CAMERA CUT – BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW AREA]

Candace Hart stands in front of the HCW backdrop, microphone in hand, as Jack Lumber steps into frame. Jack looks intense, still taped from recent battles, jaw set, eyes focused.

Candace Hart:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with Jack Lumber. Jack, over the past several weeks, the rivalry between you and the Wicked Prophet has only grown more personal, more violent, and more unpredictable. Where is your head at right now?”

Jack Lumber:
“Candace, my head is exactly where it’s always been — on the fight in front of me. The difference is, with Prophet… this stopped being about wins and losses a long time ago. This is about ending something that refuses to stay buried.”

Jack takes a breath, clearly trying to keep his temper in check.

Jack Lumber:
“doesn’t want my spot. He wants my career. And I’m done pretending this is just another match.”

Before Candace can respond—

[SUDDEN IMPACT FROM OFF CAMERA]

The Wicked Prophet charges into frame and smashes Jack from behind, sending him crashing into the interview backdrop. The camera shakes as Prophet unloads with forearms and clubbing blows.

Candace Hart:
“Hey! Hey! Somebody get security!”

Prophet grabs Jack by the collar and drives him into a production crate, then throws him into the wall.

Wicked Prophet:
“You still don’t understand, Jack! You never did!”

Jack fires back, tackling Prophet and the two start brawling wildly, trading punches, crashing into equipment.

Sam Duffy (voice-over):
“Oh come on! Not like this!”

Rick Granger (voice-over):
“You knew it was going to happen sooner or later!”

Security and officials rush in, trying to pull them apart, but both men keep breaking free and swinging.

Jack finally shoves two officials aside and points directly at Prophet.

Jack Lumber:
“No! No more of this! I’m done chasing you around backstage!”

He steps forward, eyes burning.

Jack Lumber:
“You want my career? Fine. Let’s stop pretending. Warzone. You and me. And when it’s over—one of us is gone.

The hallway goes quiet for a second.

Jack Lumber:
Loser retires.

The officials hold both men back as Prophet slowly starts to smile.

Wicked Prophet:
“…Good.”

At that moment, Max McGillicutty steps into frame, flanked by security.

Max McGillicutty:
“That’s enough.”

He looks at both men, then directly at Jack.

Max McGillicutty:
“You both want this? You’ve got it. At WarzoneJack Lumber vs Wicked Prophet…”

He pauses.

Max McGillicutty:
Loser retires.

The crowd can be heard roaring in the distance.

Max McGillicutty:
“And that’s not a suggestion. That’s official.”

Max turns and walks off as security finally forces separation between Jack and Prophet. The two men lock eyes, neither blinking, neither backing down.

Sam Duffy (voice-over):
“It’s official… one of these two men’s careers will end at Warzone.”

Rick Granger (voice-over):
“And nobody walks away from that kind of match the same.”

[CAMERA HOLDS on the stare-down, then FADES OUT to commerical.]

A Quick Commercial Break and we are back.

Sam Duffy:
“What a way to start the night here on HCW Voltage. Aurora Storm picks up a hard-fought win, and then chaos erupts backstage as Jack Lumber and the Wicked Prophet take things to a whole new level.”

Rick Granger:
“Warzone. Loser retires. You don’t throw that kind of challenge out unless you’re ready to burn everything down, Sam. One of those two men is done.”

Sam Duffy:
“And that’s now official by order of Max McGillicutty. But folks, we’ve got to keep things moving, because we still have a loaded night ahead of us.”

Rick Granger:
“And this next one is going to be a fight. No politics. No speeches. Just two guys who know exactly what they’re good at.”

Sam Duffy:
“Coming up next, it’s a battle of two of HCW’s toughest competitors… Dominic Marconi goes one-on-one with Jake Montrose!”

Rick Granger:
“Both of these guys pride themselves on grit and toughness. Don’t expect anything fancy here — expect somebody to get tested.”

Sam Duffy:
“Let’s send it down to the ring for our second match of the evening!”

A rugged, no-nonsense theme hits as ‘The Bounty Hunter’ Jake Montrose steps out onto the stage. He doesn’t play to the crowd much — just cracks his neck, rolls his shoulders, and heads straight for the ring with a focused, almost grim look on his face.

Sam Duffy:
“And here comes Jake Montrose. One of the toughest competitors in HCW, a man who’s built his reputation on endurance and grit.”

Montrose reaches ringside, climbs the steps, and steps through the ropes, immediately pacing and loosening up in his corner, eyes never leaving the entrance ramp.

Rick Granger:
“This is a guy who doesn’t care how pretty it looks. He just wants to know if you can still stand after he’s done with you.”

The crowd volume jumps as ‘The Italian Thoroughbred’ Dominic Marconi steps out onto the stage. He pauses for a moment, soaking in the reaction, then nods and starts down the ramp with calm confidence.

Sam Duffy:
“And listen to this reaction for Dominic Marconi. A proud competitor, a man who carries himself like every match is a test of honor.”

Dominic slaps a few hands on the way down, then steps into the ring and climbs the turnbuckle, raising a fist to the crowd before turning his attention to Montrose.

Rick Granger:
“Marconi believes in respect, tradition, all that stuff. That’s fine — but tonight he’s in there with someone who believes in surviving.”

Dominic steps down, removes his jacket, and hands it to the official. Both men move toward their corners, never breaking eye contact.

Sam Duffy:
“Two tough men. Two very different philosophies. And only one of them is walking away with the win.”

Rick Granger:
“And the other one is going to feel it tomorrow.”

[REFEREE CALLS FOR THE BELL]

They meet in the center and collide hard—Dominic immediately looking for leverage with tight grappling, trying to turn Montrose and off-balance him. Dominic catches a quick opening and snaps through with a sharp hip toss, dumping Montrose to the mat.

Montrose pops up and answers with a blunt kick to the gut, doubling Dominic over and sending a message that this won’t be a clean technical contest for long.

Sam Duffy:
“Montrose wastes no time going right to the body.”

Rick Granger:
“Smart. You can’t suplex a guy if you can’t breathe.”

Montrose stays on him—short steps, heavy hands—driving a hard knee to the midsection that makes Dominic stagger. Dominic absorbs it, shakes his head, and tries to re-center himself, but Montrose keeps pressing, looking for that breakdown early.

Dominic digs in and fires back with a punishing backbreaker, snapping Montrose across his knee and forcing Montrose to roll away clutching his lower back.

Montrose refuses to give Dominic any rhythm—he steps right back in and drills another knee to the midsection, trying to keep Dominic from turning this into a grappler’s match.

Sam Duffy:
“Montrose is obsessed with that midsection—he’s trying to take Dominic’s power away.”

Rick Granger:
“And Dominic’s trying to take Montrose’s spine away. This is a real fight.”

Dominic slows the pace, clamps on a tight front face lock, and grinds Montrose down. Montrose tries to pry free, but Dominic keeps dragging him back into center, forcing Montrose to carry his weight.

Dominic transitions into a crushing bearhug, squeezing the air out of Montrose. Montrose grimaces and fights it with short forearm shots, trying to break the grip.

They collide again—Dominic drives Montrose down with a head-first body slam, but Montrose answers with a nasty loaded headbutt drop, bouncing Dominic off the canvas and buying himself a breath.

Sam Duffy:
“That was brutal! Montrose will do anything to stay alive in this match.”

Rick Granger:
“You don’t call yourself a bounty hunter because you like playing fair.”

Dominic, frustrated now, storms back in and catches Montrose before he can fully recover. He cinches the bearhug again—this time deeper, tighter—locking his hands and pulling Montrose in chest-to-chest.

Montrose fights it. He tries to rake at the hands, tries to shift his hips, tries to swing a forearm—anything—but Dominic keeps squeezing, stepping sideways to keep Montrose from reaching the ropes.

Montrose’s face shifts from anger to panic. The air is gone. The strength fades.

And finally—

Montrose taps.

[BELL RINGS]

Sam Duffy:
“He got him! Dominic Marconi forces the submission!”

Rick Granger:
“That’s strength, Sam. You can’t fake that. Montrose fought it, but once Dominic locked it in the second time, it was over.”

Dominic releases immediately and steps back, breathing hard, watching Montrose kneel and clutch his ribs. Dominic offers a hand. Montrose looks up, still grim, then nods and takes it. A respectful moment as the crowd applauds.

Sam Duffy:
“A hard-earned win for The Italian Thoroughbred—and a tough loss for Jake Montrose, but nothing to be ashamed of in a fight like that.”

Rick Granger:
“Yeah. But I guarantee you Montrose is going to remember exactly how that felt. And he’s not the type to let it go.”

A cold, ominous theme rolls through the arena as Nightfang steps onto the stage. A second later, Count Vlad appears beside him, calm and composed, hands folded behind his back. The lights tint darker as the two begin their slow walk toward the ring.

The crowd responds with a mix of boos and uneasy noise.

Sam Duffy:
“And here comes Nightfang, accompanied by Count Vlad. You don’t see Vlad at ringside unless he considers something very important to be at stake.”

Nightfang stalks down the ramp, never once acknowledging the fans. Vlad walks a half-step behind him, eyes scanning the arena like a chess player surveying the board.

Rick Granger:
“Vlad doesn’t waste time. He doesn’t waste resources. If he’s here, it means he expects something to happen.”

Nightfang steps into the ring and paces like a caged animal. Vlad stops at ringside, slowly removes his gloves, and takes his seat, never breaking his cold stare toward the entrance ramp.

Sam Duffy:
“And you can see it in Nightfang’s body language. He’s not here to wrestle. He’s here to hurt someone.”

[LIGHTS SHIFT – MUSIC HITS FOR ASHEN VICAR]

The arena lights drop further, shifting to a stark, almost ritualistic glow. A solemn, foreboding theme begins to echo through the building as Ashen Vicar emerges from the back.  The Fist of the White Flame lights up the Omegatron.

A white hand with fire in a circle

AI-generated content may be incorrect.

He steps onto the stage slowly, deliberately, head slightly bowed, then raises his eyes toward the ring.

The crowd reaction is intense—part awe, part uncertainty.

Sam Duffy:
“And here comes Ashen Vicar. A man who does not look like anyone else in HCW, and does not fight like anyone else either.”

Ashen Vicar walks to the ring with measured steps, never rushing, never acknowledging Nightfang or Vlad until he reaches ringside. He stops, looks directly at Count Vlad for a long moment… then turns and steps into the ring.

Rick Granger:
“There’s something unsettling about him, Sam. He doesn’t posture. He doesn’t threaten. He just… arrives.”

Ashen Vicar removes his outer robe and hands it to the official, then turns and finally locks eyes with Nightfang. The two stand in silence, neither backing down.

At ringside, Vlad leans forward slightly, watching with keen interest.

Sam Duffy:
“Nightfang. Ashen Vicar. And Count Vlad watching every second of it.”

Rick Granger:
“This feels less like a match and more like a test.”

[REFEREE CALLS FOR THE BELL]

Ashen Vicar charges early, trying to spike Nightfang with Ashen Wake, but Nightfang slips out and turns it into a sharp counter, stealing the first momentum swing. Nightfang stalks in, throwing those heavy, grimy body shots—then drives a stiff knee into the midsection, trying to keep Ashen Vicar from building any rhythm.

Ashen Vicar answers with purpose—snapping on Ashes of the Oath (arm-trap crossface) and wrenching back hard.

At ringside, Count Vlad rises just enough to get noticed—just enough to draw the referee’s attention for a heartbeat.

Sam Duffy:
“Vlad already inserting himself—he doesn’t even need to touch the match to change it!”

Nightfang endures the hold, refusing to tap, and rolls his way free—then explodes forward with a vicious Vampire Lunge, blasting Ashen Vicar backward. Nightfang follows with a dropkick out of the ring, sending Ashen Vicar tumbling to the floor.

Rick Granger:
“Nightfang’s not here to out-wrestle anybody. He’s here to break you.”

Count Vlad begins to play his role more openly: a glare here, a gesture there—enough to unsettle, enough to disrupt. Nightfang capitalizes, pushing Ashen Vicar into the rougher parts of the fight.

Ashen Vicar absorbs it. He doesn’t complain. He doesn’t posture. He just returns fire—snapping Nightfang with Divine Reversal, then driving him down with Excommunication, and suddenly Nightfang is the one feeling pressure.

Ashen Vicar strings it together—Pale Revelation lands clean, and for the first time, Nightfang looks rattled.

Sam Duffy:
“Ashen Vicar is turning this! He’s weathered the storm, and now he’s bringing the fight right back to Nightfang!”

Rick Granger:
“Yeah, but Vlad’s watching every inch of it. That’s the problem. Every time Nightfang fades, Vlad finds a way to refill the tank.”

Nightfang digs deep and spikes Ashen Vicar with the Transylvanian Piledriver, then hits it again later when Ashen Vicar tries to rally—two brutal wake-up calls that keep Vlad’s side in the fight.

Ashen Vicar begins dropping Nightfang with heavy, surgical strikes—Judicator’s Blow rocks him once, then again, and Nightfang’s stance starts to buckle. Ashen Vicar hits Excommunication and gets a near fall, but Nightfang kicks out, snarling, dragging himself up using the ropes.

Ashen Vicar clamps Ashes of the Oath on again—tight—dead center.

Nightfang refuses. He claws his way forward, inches at a time. Vlad barks something at ringside, and Nightfang finds just enough to survive.

Sam Duffy:
“He’s still not tapping! Nightfang refuses to give Ashen Vicar that satisfaction!”

Rick Granger:
“It’s not satisfaction, Sam. It’s survival. And Nightfang’s good at surviving.”

Ashen Vicar releases, stands, and stares down Vlad—just for a second—as if to say: your games are seen.

Nightfang staggers up behind him—

And that’s when the arena erupts.

Cara Loco suddenly hops the barricade and appears near the aisle, laughing and clapping like he’s at a party instead of a fight. He waves at the fans, soaking up the reaction—then points at Nightfang and starts mocking him, gesturing wildly like he’s daring him to do something about it.

The crowd pops loud.

Nightfang’s head snaps toward the commotion—furious, distracted—one step toward the ropes.

Vlad stands up immediately, eyes narrowing, trying to shout Nightfang back into focus.

Sam Duffy:
“Cara Loco! What is he doing out here?!”

Rick Granger:
“He’s doing what people like him always do, Sam—stirring the pot and laughing while it boils!”

Nightfang turns—too late.

Ashen Vicar grabs him from behind and launches him with Divine Reversal—a snapping German suplex that folds Nightfang and plants him clean in the center of the ring.

Ashen Vicar bridges.

‘Honest’ Abe:
“ONE… TWO… THREE!”

[BELL RINGS]

Sam Duffy:
“Ashen Vicar wins it! Ashen Vicar just pinned Nightfang!”

Rick Granger:
“And Vlad is going to blame that on everybody but Nightfang—because that distraction cost them the match!”

Ashen Vicar releases the bridge and rises, expression unreadable, while Vlad stares daggers into the ring—cold, furious, calculating.

Nightfang rolls to his stomach, pounding the mat in frustration.

And Cara Loco? He’s already bolting—taking off through the crowd, laughing as fans reach out and slap his hands. The audience pops again as he disappears up the steps like a man who just pulled off the perfect prank.

Sam Duffy:
“Cara Loco just fled through the crowd like he planned this whole thing!”

Rick Granger:
“Of course he did. He didn’t come here to fight—he came here to make Vlad furious.”

Ashen Vicar stands tall in the ring—while at ringside, Count Vlad’s eyes never leave him.

Not angry on the surface.

Just… calculating what comes next.

[CUT TO BACKSTAGE – THE MORTON REPORT SET]

The lights come up on the familiar set. Larry Morton stands center-frame, tense, flanked by Mina Harker and Grizelda. Grizelda wears the Empress Championship around her waist, but her hands are folded calmly. Mina Harker looks like she’s barely containing herself.

Larry Morton:
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to The Morton Report. My guests at this time are Mina Harker and the Empress Champion, Grizelda. You asked for this time—”

Mina Harker:
“No. We took this time.”

She doesn’t look at Larry. She looks straight into the camera.

Mina Harker:
“Korbi Kong.”

The name lands like a curse.

Mina Harker:
“You didn’t sneak in. You didn’t crawl your way into the Dark Dominion.”

She laughs bitterly.

Mina Harker:
“We opened the gates for you.”

Grizelda finally speaks, her voice smooth and cutting.

Grizelda:
“We didn’t just let you stand with us. We let you stand among us.”

She taps the faceplate of the title.

Grizelda:
“You wore our colors. You spoke our words. You sat in our councils. You WERE our Empress.”

Mina steps forward, eyes burning.

Mina Harker:
“And all along… you were a knife.”

She tilts her head.

Mina Harker:
“A knife we invited into our own backs.”

She sneers.

Mina Harker:
“You helped TRY to tear us down from the inside. You helped Jack Lumber. You helped Max McGillicutty.”

Her voice drops.

Mina Harker:
“…and then you walked away and called yourself a hero.”

Grizelda smiles coldly.

Grizelda:
“That’s the part I love the most.”

She looks into the camera.

Grizelda:
“Traitors always think history will forgive them.”

Mina points directly at the lens.

Mina Harker:
“You don’t get forgiveness. You get reckoning.”

A beat.

Mina Harker:
“Tonight.”

Grizelda steps closer to Mina.

Grizelda:
“You wanted out of the Dominion, Korbi?”

She shrugs.

Grizelda:
“Fine. But you don’t just leave. You don’t just get to breathe different air and pretend none of this mattered.”

Mina’s voice is venom.

Mina Harker:
“So here’s what’s going to happen.”

She gestures between herself and Grizelda.

Mina Harker:
“You’re going to come to that ring.”

Grizelda:
“And since you’re so proud of your new little alliance…”

Mina Harker:
“…you’re going to bring someone with you.”

She smirks cruelly.

Mina Harker:
“Anyone who still believes in you.”

Grizelda finishes it:

Grizelda:
“And then we’re going to show them exactly what happens to people who stand next to traitors.”

Mina leans in slightly, eyes ice-cold.

Mina Harker:
“You tried to kill our Dominion.”

She smiles.

Mina Harker:
“Tonight, we start returning the favor.”

Grizelda adjusts the Empress Championship.

Grizelda:
“So Korbi… find a partner.”

A pause.

Grizelda:
“Before no one is willing to.”

[CAMERA HOLDS ON MINA AND GRIZELDA, BOTH STARING INTO THE LENS]

Larry Morton swallows.

Larry Morton:
“There you have it. A deeply personal challenge issued to Korbi Kong. Tonight… she will have to answer.”

[CUT BACK TO RINGSIDE]

The camera returns to the announce desk, where Sam Duffy and Rick Granger look visibly rattled by what they’ve just seen.

Sam Duffy:
“…That wasn’t just a challenge. That was an execution notice.”

Rick Granger:
“You could hear it in Mina’s voice, Sam. That wasn’t bluster, that wasn’t posturing—that was personal. Korbi Kong didn’t just leave the Dark Dominion. In their minds, she betrayed a faith.”

Sam Duffy:
“And now she’s been put on the spot. Find a partner. Walk into the ring. And face two women who look like they’re not interested in winning a match so much as they are in making a statement.”

Rick Granger:
“Grizelda standing there with the Empress Championship like that… that’s power. And Mina Harker? That’s obsession.”

Sam Duffy:
“Korbi Kong has a decision to make tonight—and whatever she decides, there’s no question this situation just turned explosive.”

Rick shakes his head.

Rick Granger:
“But right now, we’ve got to shift gears. We’ve got a match to get to—and this one features one of the fastest-rising stars in HCW.”

Sam Duffy:
“That’s right. Let’s send it to the ring for our next match!”

The lights shift and an upbeat, high-energy theme hits as Jet Moreno bursts through the curtain.

He steps onto the stage, bouncing lightly on his feet, soaking in the cheers. He points out to a few fans at ringside, slaps the barricade, then sprints down the ramp and slides into the ring in one smooth motion.

He pops to his feet and climbs the ropes, throwing his arms up to a strong reaction from the crowd.

Sam Duffy:
“Listen to this reaction! The fans have really taken to Jet Moreno—speed, heart, and absolutely no fear.”

Rick Granger:
“He’s exciting, Sam, I’ll give you that. But tonight he’s in there with someone who has no problem letting other people do the dirty work for him.”

Jet hops down, pacing, focused, eyes locked on the entrance.

The mood shifts as Ruth Heartless’ music hits.

She steps out first, calm, confident, composed—wearing that familiar, calculating smile. A beat later, Evan Stockwell emerges behind her, jaw tight, eyes cold.

They walk slowly, deliberately. Ruth speaks quietly to Evan as they head to the ring, pointing toward Jet and smirking.

Evan steps through the ropes while Ruth remains at ringside, watching closely.

Sam Duffy:
“Evan Stockwell with Ruth Heartless in his corner—never a coincidence, never an accident.”

Rick Granger:
“Ruth doesn’t manage people, Sam. She directs investments. And she clearly sees Jet Moreno as a problem that needs to be… handled.”

Ruth folds her arms at ringside, completely at ease, while Evan never takes his eyes off Jet.

Sam Duffy:
“Jet Moreno versus Evan Stockwell—Match #4 is next!”

[REFEREE CALLS FOR THE BELL AS BOTH MEN STEP TO THE CENTER OF THE RING]

The crowd is still buzzing as Jet Moreno paces in his corner, slapping the ropes and feeding off the energy. Across from him, Evan Stockwell stands calm and calculating, while Ruth Heartless watches from ringside like she’s already planning the press release.

Sam Duffy:
“This is a huge opportunity for Jet Moreno. Biggest test of his HCW career so far.”

Rick Granger:
“And he’s taking it against a man with a plan, Sam. Evan Stockwell doesn’t fight to entertain. He fights to control.”

Jet explodes out of the gate, catching Evan off guard and planting him with a swinging slam that gets the crowd roaring. He keeps moving, never letting Evan set his feet.

Sam Duffy:
“That’s what Jet has to do — keep moving, keep flying, don’t let Stockwell turn this into a grind.”

Evan slows things down the first chance he gets, spiking Jet with Hostile Takeover and immediately dragging him back to the mat, leaning his weight across Jet’s chest and jaw, making him carry every ounce.

Rick Granger:
“See? That’s business. You stop the engine first.”

Jet fights back with a sudden step-up enzuigiri, but behind the referee’s back, Ruth Heartless sprays something in Jet’s eyes, sending him stumbling.

Sam Duffy:
“Oh come on! That’s blatant!”

Rick Granger:
“High-yield strategy, Sam.”

With Jet compromised, Evan begins working him over with Liquidation Leg Sweeps and repeated Hostile Takeovers, driving Jet into the mat and forcing him to defend instead of attack. Ruth is in constant motion — barking instructions, shouting at the referee, and positioning herself perfectly.

At one point she cracks Jet with the briefcase while the referee is turned.

Sam Duffy:
“This is ridiculous! She’s not even pretending anymore!”

Rick Granger:
“Why should she? Stockwell’s winning.”

Evan nearly has the match won after a sequence of Bankroll Punches and a choke against the ropes, but Jet survives, rolling to the apron and then springing back in with a sudden superkick that flips the momentum again.

Jet begins stringing together offense: a poison rana, a standing moonsault, then another. He launches himself over the ropes with a tope con giro, sending Evan crashing to the floor.

Sam Duffy:
“Jet Moreno just turned this place upside down!”

Rick Granger:
“He better win it now, Sam. These bursts don’t last forever.”

Evan barely beats the count back into the ring and immediately tries to slow things down again, but Jet keeps coming — another moonsault, another burst of speed.

Evan starts throwing desperation shots — more Bankroll Punches, more rope chokes, more cheap tactics. Ruth gouges at Jet’s face again, buying Evan time to hit yet another Hostile Takeover.

Jet refuses to stay down.

Sam Duffy:
“How is Jet Moreno still moving?!”

Rick Granger:
“Because he doesn’t know when to stop, Sam. That’s either courage or stupidity.”

Jet finally turns the tide for good when Evan goes for one more Hostile Takeover — and Jet reverses it in mid-motion, springs to the ropes, and crushes him with a frog splash.

The crowd is on its feet.

Jet signals to the corner.

He leaps.

Standing 540 Back Flip Senton!

Jet hooks the leg.

‘Honest’ Abe:
“ONE… TWO… THREE!”

Sam Duffy:
“He did it! Jet Moreno just beat Evan Stockwell!”

Rick Granger:
“I don’t believe it! Stockwell had control of this match for fifteen minutes!”

Winner: Jet Moreno

Jet barely has time to sit up before The Rich Athlete (TV Champion) storms to the ring and jumps him from behind.

Evan and The Rich Athlete begin stomping Jet into the mat while Ruth Heartless shouts orders from ringside.

Sam Duffy:
“This is disgusting! Jet Moreno just survived a war!”

Rick Granger:
“This is asset protection, Sam!”

They drag Jet up and continue the two-on-one assault…

Until the crowd erupts.

Diego Estrella sprints down the ramp and charges into the ring, unloading on Evan and The Rich Athlete. The heels retreat, regrouping on the ramp with Ruth, while Diego helps Jet back to his feet.

Sam Duffy:
“Diego Estrella! Jet Moreno isn’t alone anymore!”

Rick Granger:
“Yeah… and that just made things a whole lot more expensive.”

Jet and Diego stand tall in the ring as Ruth fumes and The Rich Athlete glares back, clearly realizing:

Jet Moreno just became a problem.

Officials finish helping Jet Moreno and Diego Estrella out of the ring area. The canvas is cleared. The crowd is still buzzing as the lights in the arena begin to dim.

Sam Duffy:
“Alright, the ring is finally clear, and folks… this is it. We’ve been building to this all night.”

Rick Granger:
“Mina Harker and Grizelda wanted Korbi Kong. They wanted her tonight. Now we’re about to find out if Korbi actually has the guts to answer.”

The lights shift darker as Mina Harker steps onto the stage. A second later, Grizelda emerges beside her, the Empress Championship gleaming around her waist. And just behind them, calm and cold as ever, is Count Vlad.

The three walk to the ring like they own the building.

Sam Duffy:
“And here they come. Mina Harker. Grizelda. And of course… Count Vlad.”

Rick Granger:
“This is their world, Sam. Everyone else just gets to visit it.”

They enter the ring. Grizelda unclips the title briefly, raises it to the crowd in mockery, then hands it to the referee before reclaiming it and resting it back around her waist. Mina takes a microphone.

Mina Harker:
“Korbi…”

She looks around, pretending to search.

Mina Harker:
“Don’t tell me you changed your mind.”

Grizelda laughs.

Grizelda:
“Maybe she couldn’t find anyone stupid enough to stand next to her.”

Mina smirks.

Mina Harker:
“Or maybe she finally realized what happens to people who betray the Dark Dominion.”

They wait.

The crowd starts to buzz.

The arena explodes as Korbi Kong steps onto the stage.

She stands there for a moment, staring straight at the ring.

Sam Duffy:
“And there she is! Korbi Kong is here!”

Korbi starts down the ramp.

She stops.

Turns back toward the curtain.

And points.

Phoenix Blaze bursts out onto the stage to a huge reaction and joins Korbi at the top of the ramp. The two exchange a look and then head to the ring together.

Rick Granger:
“Well I’ll be damned. Phoenix Blaze just answered the call.”

Sam Duffy:
“And Mina and Grizelda don’t look happy about it at all.”

Korbi and Phoenix slide into the ring and stand their ground, staring across at Mina and Grizelda.

Tony Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen… this match is scheduled for one fall!”

He gestures to the heels.

Tony Calibur:
“Introducing first… accompanied by Count Vlad… the team of Mina Harker and the Empress Champion, Grizelda!”

Boos rain down.

Tony turns to the opposite corner.

Tony Calibur:
“And their opponents… the team of Korbi Kong and Phoenix Blaze!”

The crowd cheers loudly.

Suddenly, the crowd reacts as Max McGillicutty steps out onto the stage.

Sam Duffy:
“Oh, here we go…”

Max walks with purpose to ringside, microphone in hand.

Max McGillicutty:
“Hold on. Hold on. Before this match starts… I need to take care of something.”

He looks directly at Count Vlad.

Max McGillicutty:
“Count Vlad, you’ve involved yourself in enough matches tonight. So let me make this very clear.”

He points toward the back.

Max McGillicutty:
“You are banned from ringside. Effective immediately.”

The crowd roars.

Vlad’s expression tightens. He slowly steps up onto the apron, staring daggers at Max.

Vlad steps down, brushing past Max on his way up the ramp, never breaking eye contact.

Count Vlad:
“This is far from over.”

He then makes his way backstage.

Sam Duffy:
“Count Vlad has been ejected!”

Rick Granger:
“He does not look like a man who’s going to forget this.”

Max waits until Vlad disappears behind the curtain, then turns back to the ring.

Max McGillicutty:
“Now…”

He looks at both teams.

Max McGillicutty:
“This will be an even fight.”

He steps out of the ring.

Max McGillicutty:
“Ring the bell.”

Sam Duffy:
“It’s official. Korbi Kong and Phoenix Blaze versus Mina Harker and Grizelda — and Count Vlad is gone.”

Rick Granger:
“Gone from ringside, Sam. But not gone from the story.”

Sam Duffy:
“Either way… here we go.”

The bell rings and Mina Harker immediately storms across the ring, catching Korbi Kong with the Crimson Spiral and setting an aggressive, hostile tone from the opening seconds.

Sam Duffy:
“Listen to that reaction — Mina Harker is not here to wrestle, she’s here to punish!”

Rick Granger:
“She thinks Korbi betrayed the cause. In her mind, this is righteous vengeance.”

Mina quickly brings in Grizelda, and the Dark Dominion duo isolate Korbi, hammering her with the Enchanted Ending twice in succession and cutting the ring in half. Korbi absorbs punishment but refuses to quit, finally creating space with a backbreaker and making the tag to Phoenix Blaze.

Phoenix enters like a house of fire, and she and Korbi briefly double-team Mina, flattening her and shifting the momentum.

Sam Duffy:
“This is the first sustained offense we’ve seen from the faces!”

Rick Granger:
“And they needed it — Mina and Grizelda were dictating this match.”

Mina regroups and traps Phoenix in the Nightmare Clutch, then nearly finishes things with Thirst Eternal, but Phoenix fights through it and survives. The match breaks down into chaos, with all four women in the ring trading heavy shots and signature offense in a wild four-way exchange that brings the crowd to its feet.

Sam Duffy:
“This has turned into a fight!”

Rick Granger:
“And nobody’s backing down!”

As the match wears on, Grizelda begins to show the effects of accumulated damage, particularly after repeated slams and high-impact throws from Phoenix. Mina continues to fight like a woman possessed, drilling Phoenix with Heartstopper and trying desperately to regain control.

But Grizelda is fading.

Phoenix catches her again with a Fallaway Slam, and this time Grizelda collapses clutching her leg.

Rick Granger:
“Grizelda’s hurt! She can’t defend herself!”

Phoenix doesn’t hesitate.

She hauls Grizelda up and plants her with another Fallaway Slam, hooks the leg—

1… 2… 3!

Sam Duffy:
“They did it! Phoenix Blaze and Korbi Kong win the main event!”

Rick Granger:
“What a statement! What a war!”

Winners: Korbi Kong & Phoenix Blaze

Korbi slides into the ring and embraces Phoenix as the crowd roars. Mina Harker sits on her knees near the ropes, staring daggers at Korbi — not in defeat, but in seething, personal rage.

Sam Duffy:
“This doesn’t look over.”

Rick Granger:
“Not even close.”

Suddenly—

SELENA BLACKFANG AND TALIA NOCTURNE hit the ring.

They ambush Korbi and Phoenix from behind.

The crowd explodes in boos as Selena drops Korbi with a savage strike and Talia launches herself at Phoenix, hammering her to the mat. Mina slowly rises, her expression cold and satisfied, and joins the assault.

Sam Duffy:
“This is a mugging!”

Rick Granger:
“Vlad may be banned, but the Dark Dominion is still very much alive!”

Mina stands over Korbi, looking down at her with pure hatred as Selena and Talia hold Phoenix down.

Mina doesn’t speak.

She just stares.

And then the Dominion continues the beating as officials rush the ring to try and pull them apart.

Sam Duffy:
“Look at this… look at this, Rick. The match is over, but the message is just beginning.”

Rick Granger:
“Vlad may be banned from ringside, Sam, but the Dark Dominion just made it crystal clear — the war doesn’t stop just because the bell rang.”

Sam Duffy:
“Korbi Kong and Phoenix Blaze fought their hearts out tonight. They won the match. But in the end, it’s Selena Blackfang and Talia Nocturne who stand over them like executioners.”

Rick Granger:
“And don’t miss the symbolism here. Mina Harker is right there in the middle of it. This isn’t just about tonight — this is personal. This is betrayal. This is revenge.”

Sam Duffy:
“Korbi’s out, Phoenix isn’t moving, and the Dark Dominion’s Vixens are posing like they just conquered the ring. This is not a celebration — this is a declaration.”

Rick Granger:
“A declaration that no one is safe. Not Max McGillicutty. Not Korbi Kong. Not anyone who ever thought they could tear the Dominion down from the inside.”

Sam Duffy:
“We were promised an even fight tonight. We got one. But what we’re seeing now is the aftermath of a war that’s only getting uglier.”

Rick Granger:
“Remember this image, Sam. Because this is what the Dark Dominion wants burned into everyone’s mind.”

Sam Duffy:
“Ladies and gentlemen, for Rick Granger, I’m Sam Duffy. This has been HCW Voltage. Good night… and may God help whoever stands in their way next.”
