HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2024 #1041 10/19

Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter.  For tonight’s show, we know that the Million Dollar Alliance is in the house with the US Champion the Rich Athlete defending his title tonight.  We have also heard that the Orange Fusion Force has had it with the Flaggship and will be calling them out tonight.    The Magnificent Juan Raul Fargo and Alejandro Guerrero will be in separate singles action.  Two members from the Dark Dominion – Madman Mason and Negropolis will also be on the card.  Word has it that Count Vlad will NOT be accompanying them to ringside.  We have an action packed card tonight so let’s get this show on the road.

The HCW arena is filled with the loud roar of the crowd. Suddenly, the theme music of Ashley "Diamond" Summers blares through the speakers, and the boos from the fans grow even louder as she strides out onto the stage, accompanied by Ruth Heartless, the mastermind behind the Million Dollar Alliance. Ashley looks completely unfazed by the hostile reception, flashing a smug smirk as she heads toward the ring.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:  "Here she comes, Johnny. Ashley 'Diamond' Summers, part of the Million Dollar Alliance, and she’s got something to say. But listen to this crowd—nobody is happy to see her!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:  "I can't blame them, Mike. Ashley is as arrogant as they come. But with Ruth Heartless pulling the strings, you know they always have a plan."

[Ashley climbs into the ring, microphone in hand, her face set with confidence as she takes in the sea of jeers. Ruth Heartless stands beside her, arms crossed, watching like a hawk.]

Ashley "Diamond" Summers (smirking):"Oh, don’t act like you don’t love it. Keep booing all you want—it's not going to stop me from taking exactly what I deserve!"

[The crowd erupts in louder boos, but Ashley ignores them, pacing the ring.]

Ashley "Diamond" Summers:  "You see, there’s someone who’s been walking around here, acting like she’s somebody special just because she holds a little gold around her waist. And that someone is none other than Luciana Albano, your so-called Heritage Women’s Champion."

[The mention of Luciana Albano’s name gets a mixed reaction from the crowd, but Ashley isn’t finished.]

Ashley "Diamond" Summers:  "Luciana, you've been hiding behind that belt for too long. Everyone knows it. I know it, Ruth knows it, and deep down, you know it. You’ve been lucky, but luck runs out. And trust me when I say, that championship will look a hell of a lot better around my waist."

[Ruth Heartless gives a nod of approval as Ashley smirks confidently. The crowd’s jeers only intensify.]

Ashley "Diamond" Summers:  "So, how about you stop pretending you’re untouchable and come out here to face reality?"

[As if on cue, the Heritage Women's Champion’s theme hits, and Luciana Albano steps out onto the stage, accompanied by her manager Pierre Boulay. The crowd gives a mixed reaction, with the boos still present but not as strong. Luciana confidently makes her way down the ramp, gold shimmering around her waist, looking every bit the champion. Pierre Boulay stays close behind, watching Ruth Heartless carefully.]

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:  "And here comes Luciana Albano, the Heritage Women’s Champion. You know, Hammer, these two women couldn’t be more different. Luciana carries herself with arrogance, but Ashley Summers? She’s got Ruth Heartless at her side, and that makes her dangerous.  We saw how she made our GM back down!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:  "Both of these ladies have egos bigger than this arena, Mike. This is going to be explosive!"

[Luciana steps into the ring, Pierre by her side. She raises the Heritage Women’s Championship high in the air, her eyes locked on Ashley, who glares back.]

Luciana Albano (scoffing):  "Ashley, darling, you really think you’re on my level? You’re just another stepping stone in my glorious reign as champion. The only reason people even mention your name is because of Ruth Heartless and that sad excuse for a 'Million Dollar Alliance.' You don’t have what it takes to challenge me."

[Ashley rolls her eyes as Ruth Heartless whispers something to her, fueling her confidence even more.]

Ashley "Diamond" Summers (sarcastically):  "Oh, please, Luciana. Your 'glorious reign' is nothing more than a fluke. I’ll show everyone what a real champion looks like once I beat you. But I don’t want to waste my time with empty words. How about we settle this tonight?"

[The crowd reacts with anticipation as Ashley steps closer to Luciana, her eyes full of fire.]

Ashley "Diamond" Summers:  "One-on-one, non-title. And when I beat you, Luciana, you’ll have no choice but to give me a shot at that championship."

[Luciana smirks, glancing at Pierre Boulay, who whispers something in her ear. After a moment, Luciana steps forward, getting nose-to-nose with Ashley.]

Luciana Albano:  "You want a match with me tonight? Fine. I’ll give you your little opportunity. But don’t think for a second that you’re going to win. When I’m done with you, you’ll be wishing you stayed in the shadows of Ruth Heartless and that pathetic alliance."

[The crowd buzzes with excitement as the challenge is accepted. Ruth Heartless and Pierre Boulay exchange cold glares as both women stand toe-to-toe in the center of the ring.  It seems that the alliance they tried to craft is starting to crumble.]

Mike "The Voice" Johnson:  "There you have it, folks! Luciana Albano has agreed to face Ashley 'Diamond' Summers in a non-title match tonight! And if Ashley wins, she gets a shot at the Heritage Women's Championship!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris:  "This is going to be huge, Mike. These two can’t stand each other, and now we’ve got a match on our hands. Ruth and Pierre might want to stay close by, though—this could get ugly."

[The tension is palpable as Luciana and Ashley stare each other down, both women brimming with confidence and animosity. The crowd is divided, eagerly anticipating the showdown.]

Ashley "Diamond" Summers (smirking):  "Get ready, Luciana. Your time at the top is coming to an end."

Luciana Albano (smirking back):  "We’ll see about that, darling."

[With that, Luciana drops the mic and heads out of the ring with Pierre Boulay, while Ashley watches her leave, the smirk never leaving her face. The match is set for later tonight, and the rivalry between these two has only just begun.]

Match #1:  Madman Mason & Negropolis vs the Dynamic Duo

The Dynamic Duo – Chris ‘Thunderstrike’ Thompson and Mike ‘the Rebel’ Matthews make their way out first to a solid pop from the crowd.  They interact with the fans and then get into the ring.  As they are continuing to get the crowd ready for this kickoff match, the music changed and the lights dimmed as the latest editions to the Dark Dominion Madman Mason and Negropolis made their way out to massive booing from the fans.  As we suspected, Count Vlad did not accompany them.  Negropolis flipped off the fans and Mason glared menacingly at them.  They climbed into the ring and the match began almost immediately.

As the bell rings, the crowd is electric with anticipation. The Dynamic Duo, Chris “Thunderstrike” Thompson and Mike ‘the Rebel’ Matthews, face off against the sinister team of Madman Mason and Negropolis, representing the Dark Dominion. Notably, Count Vlad did not accompany his team to the ring tonight.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “It’s unusual not to see Count Vlad out here with his team. I wonder what he’s up to, Hammer.”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “Whatever it is, you can bet it’s nothing good, Voice. But let’s focus on the action in the ring!”

The match kicks off with Chris “Thunderstrike” Thompson and Madman Mason locking up. Thompson attempts a Superkick, but Mason reverses it and executes a powerful Vertical Suplex.

Thompson retaliates with a Dropkick, catching Mason off guard. The action continues to intensify as Thompson lands an Enzuigiri, leaving Mason struggling to keep up.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “Thompson is on fire! That Enzuigiri was perfectly executed.”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “Mason’s in trouble. He needs to tag out soon.”

Mason attempts a German Suplex, but Thompson reverses it and lands a Superkick, gaining the upper hand.

Both men tag out, bringing in Mike ‘the Rebel’ Matthews and Negropolis. The action remains intense as both competitors exchange powerful moves.

The match sees a series of high-impact moves and reversals. Matthews and Thompson double-team Mason, showcasing their teamwork. Mason attempts a pin, but Thompson kicks out.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “The Dynamic Duo is working like a well-oiled machine!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “Mason and Negropolis need to find a way to turn this around.”

Negropolis enters the fray, but the Dynamic Duo continues to dominate. Thompson and Matthews execute a series of double-team maneuvers, keeping the pressure on their opponents.

Despite their best efforts, Mason and Negropolis struggle to gain the upper hand. The Dynamic Duo’s relentless offense and seamless teamwork prove too much for the Dark Dominion members however, they could not complete it in the time limit and we have ourselves a 30 min draw.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “What a match! The Dynamic Duo has shown why they’re one of the top teams in HCW.”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “Absolutely, Voice. This was a statement victory for Thompson and Matthews.”

The absence of Count Vlad leaves questions unanswered.  Mason and Negropolis head to the back while the Dynamic Duo celebrate in the ring.  Eventually, they also head to the back but it’s clear that tonight belongs to Chris “Thunderstrike” Thompson and Mike ‘the Rebel’ Matthews.

Match #2:  Billy Robbins vs The Magnificent Juan Raul Fargo

Our next match is ready to go.  JR Fargo comes out first to massive booing from the crowd.  Alejandro Guerrero joins him and they head to the ring.  JR climbs into the ring and Alejandro goes to sit at commentary.  Billy Robbins comes out next to a nice pop and he gets into the ring.  He barely has time to get his jacket off as JR attacks him before the bell.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “JR Fargo wasting no time here, attacking Billy Robbins before the bell even rings!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “That’s classic Fargo for you. He’ll do anything to get the upper hand.”

The match kicks off with Billy Robbins quickly recovering and executing a Slingshot Smash on JR Fargo, who absorbs the punishment but manages to kick out of an early pin attempt.

JR Fargo tries to gain control with a Rear Chinlock, but Robbins reverses it and attempts a Standing Suplex. Fargo counters and drives Robbins into the ring post with a Raul-Ram.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “What a counter by Fargo! He’s showing his ruthless side tonight.”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “Robbins needs to dig deep if he wants to survive this onslaught.”

Robbins fights back with a series of hard kicks, but Fargo responds with a Magnificent Body Slam. The back-and-forth action continues as Fargo repeatedly uses the Raul-Ram to wear down Robbins.

Robbins manages to hit a spectacular Frankensteiner from the top rope, nearly securing a pinfall, but Fargo kicks out just in time. The intensity of the match keeps the crowd on the edge of their seats.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “Robbins is pulling out all the stops! What a move!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “But Fargo’s resilience is something else. This match could go either way.”

In the final moments, Fargo locks in a Sleeperhold on Robbins. Despite his best efforts, Robbins is unable to escape and eventually submits.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “And that’s it! The Magnificent Juan Raul Fargo wins with a Sleeperhold!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “A hard-fought victory for Fargo, but you have to give credit to Robbins for his incredible effort.”

The Magnificent Juan Raul Fargo stands victorious in the ring, while Alejandro Guerrero applauds from the commentary table. The crowd’s boos are deafening, but Fargo revels in his win, leaving Billy Robbins to recover from the grueling match.

JR celebrates and then trades places with Alejandro.  Outback Oscar comes out to a pop.  He makes his way into the ring and our next match is ready to go.

Match #3:  Alejandro Guerrero vs Outback Oscar

The match begins with Alejandro Guerrero attempting a Forearm Smash, but Outback Oscar neutralizes it, showing his resilience early on. Guerrero quickly follows up with a Missile Dropkick, which Oscar absorbs, setting the tone for a hard-hitting contest.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “Alejandro Guerrero is not holding back tonight. That Missile Dropkick was right on target!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “Oscar’s tough, but Guerrero’s relentless. This is going to be a battle.”

Guerrero tries to execute a Triple Rolling Vertical Suplex, but Oscar reverses it and lands a Knee Drop, gaining some momentum. The back-and-forth action continues as both men exchange powerful moves, including a Boot to Gut from Oscar and a Magnificent Body Slam from Guerrero.

Despite Oscar’s efforts, Guerrero’s high-flying offense, including multiple Missile Dropkicks and a Forearm Smash, keeps him in control. Oscar manages to kick out of several pin attempts, showing his determination to stay in the fight.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “Outback Oscar is showing incredible heart here. He refuses to stay down!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “But how much more can he take? Guerrero is like a machine tonight.”

In the final moments of the match, Guerrero executes a Tornado DDT, leaving Oscar unable to defend himself. Guerrero goes for the pin, and despite Oscar’s resilience, he is unable to kick out.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “And that’s it! Alejandro Guerrero wins with a Tornado DDT!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “A well-deserved victory for Guerrero. Outback Oscar put up a great fight, but tonight belongs to Guerrero.”

Alejandro Guerrero stands victorious in the ring, celebrating his hard-fought win as the crowd reacts to the boos from the fans.

Backstage, the Orange Fusion Force (Owen Zestwell and Julius Squeezer) call out the Flaggship for the dirty tactics.  Owen states that they want a rematch.

Match #4:  Non-title match between Luciana Albano and Ashley Summers.  If Ashley wins, she gets the next shot at the Heritage Womens Championship.

These two competitors haven’t even stepped into the ring against each other, and there already is a lot of bad blood between them. The challenger, Ashley, comes out first to booing, accompanied by her manager Ruth Heartless. The duo are booed intensely as they head to the ring. Once there, the music changes, and out comes the Heritage Women’s Champion Luciana Albano with her manager Pierre Boulay. They are booed just as heavily, and Luciana takes a moment to stop by the Clan Kong (Korbi’s fan club) and flips them off. She turns and heads to the ring, entering from the steps and standing in the middle of the ring holding her title high. She hands it to Pierre, who exits the ring.

Pierre then approaches Ruth with a look of frustration. “What the hell do you think you’re doing, Ruth?” he demands. “We had an agreement!”

Ruth smirks, unfazed by Pierre’s anger. “Oh, Pierre, you just don’t get it, do you? ‘Staying in your lane’ means not overstepping. You took the tag team titles and the Heritage Women’s title when my team should have.  Now, we’re going to show why we are the best.”

Pierre’s eyes narrow. “Be careful Ruth that you and your Million Dollar Alliance don’t regret this.”

Ruth chuckles. “We’ll see. But for now, let’s see how your precious champion fares against my Diamond.”

After some more brief but heated words, they separate, and the match begins.

The match kicks off with Luciana Albano executing a Riptide Pumphandle Bomb on Ashley “Diamond” Summers, who is unable to defend against it. Luciana follows up with a Belly to Back Pendulum Facebuster, keeping the pressure on Ashley.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “Luciana is not wasting any time here. She’s going straight for the jugular!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “Ashley needs to find a way to turn this around quickly.”

Ashley tries to fight back, but Luciana continues her assault with a Sole Food, while Ruth Heartless provides some “words of wisdom” and a smack with the Banker’s briefcase. Despite this, Luciana maintains control with a Vertical Suplex and another Riptide Pumphandle Bomb.

Ashley finally gains some momentum with a Figure Four Leglock, but Pierre Boulay slips a foreign object to Luciana, who attempts a pin. Ashley kicks out, showing her resilience.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “Ashley Summers is showing incredible heart here. She refuses to stay down!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “But how much more can she take? Luciana is relentless.”

The match continues with both competitors exchanging powerful moves. Ashley executes a Diamond Cutter, but Luciana absorbs the punishment. Pierre Boulay and Ruth Heartless continue to interfere, adding to the chaos.

In the final moments, Ruth hops up on the apron and acts like she’s going to spray hairspray into Luciana’s face but Pierre rushes over and trips Ruth who then accidentally sprays Ashley in the eyes blinding her.  Luciana executes a Belly to Back Pendulum Facebuster and then goes for the pin.  1-2-3!

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “And that’s it! Luciana Albano wins the match with a Belly to Back Pendulum Facebuster!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “Ashley may have missed this opportunity to get a shot at the Heritage Womens Championship but this is not over between the two...not by a long shot.”

Luciana Albano stands victorious in the ring, celebrating her win as the crowd reacts even louder booing than before. Ashley “Diamond” Summers is handed a towel by Ruth to help clear her eyes.  Ruth is just as mad as Ashley and I’m sure these two competitors will be seeing each other again.

Scene: The interview area is buzzing with activity as Larry Morton stands ready with a microphone. Ruth Heartless, looking furious, storms over to join him, accompanied by the US Champion, The Rich Athlete, who exudes confidence and charisma.

Larry Morton: “Ruth, tough loss for Ashley ‘Diamond’ Summers tonight. What are your thoughts on—”

Ruth Heartless: interrupting, yelling “That is NOT important right now, Larry! What matters is the Rich Athlete and his US Title defense tonight. Ashley will bounce back, but right now, it is about this man!”

The camera shifts to The Rich Athlete, who adjusts his sunglasses and smirks at the camera.

The Rich Athlete: “Woooo! That’s right, baby! The Rich Athlete is here, and I’m ready to show everyone why I’m the greatest US Champion of all time! Noah ‘High Flyer’ Murphy? Please, he’s nothing but a flash in the pan. He might be able to do a few flips and tricks, but when it comes to wrestling, he’s out of his league. Woooo!”

Larry Morton: “Rich Athlete, Noah Murphy has been on quite a winning streak. Do you think he poses any threat to your title reign?”

The Rich Athlete: “A threat? Larry, let me tell you something. Noah Murphy is a mosquito buzzing around the champ. I’ll swat him down and keep on styling and profiling! Woooo! And as for that so-called Commando, Zack Brown? He’s beneath me. I would never step into the ring with someone as uncouth and unrefined as him. The Rich Athlete only competes against the best, and Zack Brown is far from it. Woooo!”

Ruth Heartless: “That’s right! The Rich Athlete is a class above the rest. Tonight, he’ll prove it once again when he retains the US Title. Noah Murphy, you better be ready for the fight of your life, because the Rich Athlete is going to show you what true greatness looks like!”

The Rich Athlete: “Woooo! You heard it here, folks. The Rich Athlete is going to walk in as the champion and walk out as the champion. And there’s nothing Noah Murphy or anyone else can do about it. Woooo!”

The segment ends with The Rich Athlete and Ruth Heartless walking off confidently, leaving Larry Morton to wrap up the interview.

Larry Morton: “Well, there you have it. The Rich Athlete is ready to defend his title tonight. Back to you at ringside!”

Match #5:  The Main Event:  US Title Match:  The Rich Athlete w/Ruth Heartless vs Noah ‘High Flyer’ Murphy

Noah Murphy comes out first to a nice pop from the crowd.  He shakes hands with the fans and makes his way to the ring.   The music changes and out comes the US Champion the Rich Athlete and his manager Ruth Heartless.  They receive the loudest booing of the night.  Someone tried to touch the Rich Athlete’s robe and almost got socked for it.  He made his way into the ring and strutted around like some sort of peacock.  He took off his robe and gave it to Ruth who left the ring.  He posed with the title and then handed it to the ref. The ref then signalled for the match to begin.

The match begins with The Rich Athlete immediately taking control, hurling Noah ‘High Flyer’ Murphy out of the ring. Noah struggles to get back in, but manages to beat the count and re-enter the ring.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “The Rich Athlete is showing no mercy tonight, throwing Noah out of the ring right from the start!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “Noah’s got to be careful. The Rich Athlete is a master of mind games and physical dominance.”

Noah fights back with a powerful Powerbomb, but The Rich Athlete absorbs the punishment and continues his assault. The Rich Athlete locks in a Luxurious Leglock, but Noah counters with a Superkick, showing his resilience.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “Noah Murphy is not backing down! That Superkick was right on the money.”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “But can he keep up this momentum against the champion?”

The Rich Athlete continues to dominate with a series of moves, including a Choke and Pectoral Chops, wearing down Noah. Despite Noah’s attempts to fight back with moves like a Calf Kick and Enzuigiri, The Rich Athlete maintains control.

In a critical moment, Ruth Heartless tries to distract Noah, but he reverses it and lands a Back Suplex on The Rich Athlete. The match remains intense with both competitors exchanging blows.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “Noah Murphy is giving it everything he’s got! This is a true test of endurance.”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “The Rich Athlete needs to stay focused. One mistake could cost him the title.”

As the match reaches its climax, The Rich Athlete hurls Noah out of the ring once more. This time, he follows Noah out, ramming him into the ring post and steps. The Rich Athlete then rolls back into the ring, beating the 10 count to secure the win via countout.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “What a brutal move by The Rich Athlete! He used the environment to his advantage.”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “And that’s it! The Rich Athlete retains his title with a countout victory.

Noah Murphy put up a great fight, but the champion’s tactics were too much.”

The Rich Athlete stands tall in the ring, celebrating his victory as the crowd reacts booing even louder than before.

The Rich Athlete stands in the ring, basking in his victory over Noah ‘High Flyer’ Murphy. The crowd’s boos are deafening, but he revels in the moment, holding his US Title high. Suddenly, the arena erupts as Zack “Commando” Brown’s music hits.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “Wait a minute! It’s Zack ‘Commando’ Brown! What’s he doing here?”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “Looks like he’s got some unfinished business with The Rich Athlete!”

Zack storms down the ramp and slides into the ring, immediately going after The Rich Athlete. The two exchange blows, but Zack quickly gains the upper hand. Just as The Rich Athlete starts to falter, Evan Stockwell rushes out to help his ally, but he’s cut off by The Banker, who blindsides him with a vicious attack.  The Banker and Evan fight to the back leaving the Rich Athlete to fend for himself.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “Evan Stockwell came out here to help, but The Banker just took him out!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “This is chaos! The Rich Athlete is in serious trouble!”

In the ring, Zack traps The Rich Athlete in a sleeperhold. The champion struggles, but Zack’s grip is too strong. Slowly, The Rich Athlete’s movements become sluggish, and he eventually goes limp, falling unconscious.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “The Rich Athlete is out cold! Zack ‘Commando’ Brown has put him to sleep!”

With The Rich Athlete unconscious, Zack grabs a contract from his pocket and takes The Rich Athlete’s hand, using it to “sign” the contract for a rematch. The date is left blank, meaning Zack can redeem it at any time.

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “He’s making The Rich Athlete sign a contract for a rematch! This is unprecedented!”

Ruth Heartless, seeing what’s happening, starts screaming from the top of her lungs, her voice echoing through the arena like Scary Sherri.

Ruth Heartless: “No! This can’t happen! Get that nullified! This is illegal!”

Despite her protests, the officials and security are unable to intervene in time. Zack stands tall over the unconscious Rich Athlete, holding the signed contract high as the crowd erupts in cheers.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “Zack ‘Commando’ Brown has just secured his rematch! The Rich Athlete is in for a rude awakening when he comes to.”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “Ruth Heartless can scream all she wants, but it looks like Zack’s plan worked perfectly. The Rich Athlete’s days as champion might be numbered.”

The segment ends with Zack “Commando” Brown standing victorious, the contract in hand, as Ruth Heartless continues to scream in frustration. The crowd’s cheers grow louder, signaling their approval of Zack’s bold move.

With that, tonight’s show comes to an end.  We continue the march towards our House of Horrors PPV on Halloween and we know things will continue to heat up so stay tuned.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2024 #1040 – 10/13

Hello fans and welcome to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter.  Tonight, the Dark Dominion will be out in force with both the Fangs of Despair and the Night Stalkers out in respective tag team action.  Selena Blackfang will also be in action taking on Goldie Locks as Selena tries to secure the #1 spot for the Ladies World title.   After their encounter yesterday, World Champion Jack Lumber has agreed to defend the World title against Mr. X.  Steel Justice, and more, join the show so let’s get this show on the road.

The camera cut to the office of HCW General Manager Max McGillicutty, who was fuming behind his desk. He stood up as Evan "The Financial Maverick" Stockwell, the HCW TV Champion, and his manager Ruth Heartless confidently strolled in. Evan, dressed impeccably with his title slung over his shoulder, had a smirk plastered on his face, while Ruth strutted with the assuredness of someone always a step ahead.

Max wasted no time. "Stockwell, you’ve crossed the line!" he barked, glaring at Evan. "That attack on the Banker backstage was completely out of line. So, I’m fining you for that stunt. A hefty one."

Evan’s smirk grew wider, and he casually leaned back, looking completely unfazed.

Max, his frustration boiling over, pointed at him. "You think this is funny, Stockwell?"

Without saying a word, Evan motioned toward Ruth, who took a step forward with a smug grin. "You’ve got this all wrong, Max," she purred. "We’re not worried about your fine. In fact, we’re suing you and HCW for an unsafe working environment."

The room fell silent for a beat.

"Wait, what?!" Max sputtered in disbelief.

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris chimed in on commentary, "Can you believe this, Mike? Suing for an unsafe working environment? In a wrestling company?! This is absurd!"

Ruth didn't flinch. "Max, that little lawsuit? It’s for the exact amount of your fine. So here’s the deal," she said smoothly. "You drop the fine, we drop the lawsuit. Everyone goes home happy."

Max was beside himself, visibly clenching his fists. His face turned red, and for a moment, it seemed like he was about to explode, but Ruth and Evan stood there, completely in control of the situation.  Evan, still smirking, raised an eyebrow. "So, what’s it going to be, Max?"

Max stared daggers at the two of them, but with no other choice, he sighed heavily and relented. "Fine. Fine! I’ll drop it."

Ruth smiled wickedly and gave a condescending nod. "That’s a good boy." She patted him on the shoulder, almost mockingly, before turning to leave. Evan gave Max a wink and followed her out.

As the door closed behind them, Max threw his hands up in frustration. "Unbelievable!"

"Ruth Heartless and Evan Stockwell, they just played Max like a fiddle!" Mike 'The Voice' Johnson exclaimed on commentary.

Johnny shook his head in disbelief. "She’s ruthless, Mike! And now Stockwell’s walking away scot-free after that brutal attack. Max had no choice!"

Max sat down, still seething, as the camera zoomed in on his furious expression.  He then pulled out a contract and wrote in “House of Horrors PPV”, “Evan Stockwell”, “TV Title Match”, “The Banker” and finally…”Steel Cage”.

"You have to wonder, Mike," Johnny said. "What’s it going to take for someone to knock these two off their high horse?"

Mike responded, "I don’t know, but something’s got to give. The arrogance of Stockwell and Heartless—it’s only going to get worse from here.  Something tells me we’re going to see The Banker vs Evan Stockwell at the PPV…and what a place for it."

Match #1:  Fangs of Despair vs The Freedom Fighters

In an intense tag team battle, the Fangs of Despair, Dr. Red Fang and Nightfang, took on the Freedom Fighters, Freedom Fighter Flash and Freedom Fighter Justice. The action started fast, with Dr. Red Fang immediately taking control, dropping Freedom Fighter Flash out of the ring with a fierce dropkick. Count Vlad, lurking at ringside, watched intently, occasionally shouting commands to his team as they methodically dismantled their opponents.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson noted early on, "Dr. Red Fang is laser-focused tonight, Johnny. These two aren't here to play—they're here to conquer!"

As the match progressed, the Freedom Fighters tried to fight back, with Flash delivering a stunning Angel's Wings to Nightfang, leveling the score. Johnny "The Hammer" Harris exclaimed, "What a counter by Flash! These Freedom Fighters are resilient, no doubt about it!"

However, it wasn't long before the Fangs turned the tide. The match reached a fever pitch when all four men were in the ring at once, executing a flurry of high-impact double team moves. The Fangs' Airplane Spin followed by a devastating Vampire Lunge from Dr. Red Fang had the fans on their feet. "VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYBODY!" Dr. Red Fang screamed as he connected.

Count Vlad got more involved as the match went on, pulling off some devious tactics. At one point, he attempted to shove the referee, trying to tilt the match even further in his team's favor, but Freedom Fighter Flash managed to neutralize the distraction. "Vlad's got his fingerprints all over this match!"

Johnny yelled. "This isn't just a fight—it's a full-blown assault!"

In the closing minutes, Dr. Red Fang reasserted dominance, hitting multiple Vampire Lunges on both Justice and Flash. Despite a valiant effort from the Freedom Fighters, the relentless attacks from the Fangs were too much. Justice absorbed the final blow, a perfectly executed Vampire Lunge, and Dr. Red Fang secured the 1-2-3 pinfall victory.

As the bell rang, Mike commented, "These Freedom Fighters gave it their all, but the Fangs of Despair... they’re just on another level right now, Johnny."

Count Vlad climbed into the ring, a menacing grin on his face. He raised the arms of Dr. Red Fang and Nightfang in victory, reveling in the chaos and destruction left behind. "No one can stop them, Mike!"

Johnny said. "With Vlad pulling the strings, the Fangs of Despair are going to be a nightmare for every team in HCW."

The Fangs of Despair, led by Count Vlad, stood tall in the ring, sending a clear message to the rest of HCW: darkness is taking over.

There weren’t very many of the signs just yet but this Dr. Red Fang interruption video from our 10/5 show has us questioning who exactly THIS Dr. Red Fang is, lurking around the dark corners of HCW.  The signs we’ve noticed so far are:

Dr. Red Fang…internet sensation.

HCW’s Dr. Red Fang is the Fake Red Fang.

Dr. Red Fang is my father…maybe.

Vlad accompanies the Fangs of Despair to the stage but waits as he is participating in the next match.  He steps aside a moment and approaches the fans who has the “fake” sign and asks to see it.  The fan hands it over only for Vlad to shred it and throw it back at the fans.  Everyone around starts to boo but Vlad heads back to the stage.

Match #2:  Goldie Locks vs Selena Blackfang for the #1 contender to the HWC title.

The Widow’s Fang and Count Vlad head to the ring.  Selena is all serious.  Vlad smirks like he has something up his sleeve.  Once in the ring, the music changed and out comes Goldie Locks to a huge pop from the crowd.  She makes her way to the ring shaking hands with the fans.  As soon as she enters the ring, the match begins almost immediately.

The battle between Goldie Locks and Selena "Widow's Fang" Blackfang was intense from the opening bell. Goldie started strong, hitting a running dropkick that caught Selena off guard. However, Selena soon answered back with a thunderous powerbomb, reminding the audience of her raw power.

As the two traded blows, it was clear this was a clash of speed versus power. Goldie’s acrobatic offense, including a flawless tilt-a-whirl headscissors and handspring back elbow smash, had the crowd roaring in approval. Meanwhile, Selena grounded her with heavy strikes and brutal submission holds, including her Modified Scorpion Crosslock.

Midway through the match, Count Vlad, always lurking at ringside, began his usual antics. He antagonized Goldie, giving Selena a moment to capitalize with a spinning leghook slam. The crowd could sense the Count’s presence influencing the match, especially when he handed something to Selena during a distraction.

Selena, now fully in control, attempted multiple pinfalls, but Goldie showed tremendous heart, kicking out each time to the amazement of the fans. Despite the interference, Goldie managed to reverse Selena's offense, locking in her Twin City Twister Surfboard, though Selena refused to submit.

As the match neared its climax, Goldie seemed to be at a disadvantage, absorbing punishment after a vicious fallaway slam from Selena. The referee, appearing to miss a key moment, counted to three when Selena hooked the tights.

However, GM Max McGillicutty stormed out, declaring the result invalid due to Selena's underhanded tactic. He ordered the match to restart, much to Selena and Vlad’s dismay. The fight continued, but disaster struck when the referee was knocked out after a collision with both women. Vlad, ever the opportunist, slipped an object into Selena’s hand, setting her up for victory.

Before Selena could strike, a new referee sprinted down the ramp—Korbi Kong, the Ladies World Champion herself! Wearing the black-and-white stripes, Korbi ripped the foreign object from Selena’s hands. In the confusion, Goldie rolled up Selena, and Korbi delivered a lightning-fast three-count!

Korbi Kong then grabbed the mic and declared Goldie the winner and the next in line for a shot at the Heritage Women’s Championship. The two faces quickly exited the ring, leaving a furious Selena and Count Vlad to argue with the crowd, still fuming at what just transpired.

Goldie and Korbi's quick getaway left the audience buzzing, with Goldie now set on a path toward championship gold, much to the fury of Selena and her sinister manager.

Count Vlad accompanied Selena to the back even though he’ll be out for the next match.

Match #3:  The Night Stalkers vs Steel Justice for the #1 contender to the TT titles

The cheers erupted when Steel Justice, Kellyn "The Raven Archer" Chrisari and Alex "Skyhawk" Justice, made their entrance, their music blasting as they sprinted toward the ring. The two high-energy, high-flying athletes slapped hands with fans on their way, their focus locked on their monstrous opponents.

The arena lights dimmed, and eerie music filled the air as Count Vlad led his Night Stalkers, Bloodfang Viktor Drakov and Shadowfang Marcus Black, down the ramp. Vlad grabbed the microphone, smirking.

"Tonight, Steel Justice will feel the full force of the Dark Dominion! My Night Stalkers will show that victory is inevitable when the darkness consumes the light!" The crowd booed loudly as Vlad handed the mic back, standing confidently by his team.

The bell rang, and Marcus Black wasted no time, overpowering Kellyn with a pumphandle slam that sent shockwaves through the ring. "Marcus Black with the sheer power right from the get-go!" exclaimed Mike "The Voice" Johnson. Kellyn quickly tagged out to Skyhawk, but Black kept the pressure on, executing a devastating Shadow Strike on the fresh Skyhawk.

"Shadowfang is a monster tonight!" Johnny "The Hammer" Harris noted as Skyhawk kicked out of a pin attempt. The back-and-forth continued, with Skyhawk and Kellyn showing heart but struggling to handle Black's ruthless offense. "Steel Justice is getting manhandled!" shouted Johnny, as Marcus tagged in Bloodfang Viktor Drakov.

Bloodfang's brutal style clashed with Kellyn’s technical prowess as Kellyn hit the Raven’s Flight, almost scoring a pinfall before Bloodfang barely kicked out. "Kellyn's staying in this fight, but how long can he last?" Mike wondered.

Count Vlad's influence soon became clear as he antagonized Kellyn from ringside. "This is where the Dark Dominion plays dirty," said Johnny, disgusted by Vlad's interference. Still, Kellyn fought back with a Raven's Claw Neck Pinch, wearing down Shadowfang in what looked like a turning point for Steel Justice.

But the match's intensity skyrocketed as Bloodfang reentered, locking in the Bloodhound Bite, only for Kellyn to counter with another high-flying Raven's Flight. Just as the momentum swung in favor of Steel Justice, Count Vlad shoved the referee, causing a momentary distraction. "Here comes Vlad! He’s up to no good again!" yelled Mike as Vlad’s underhanded tactics took hold.

After repeated interference, Vlad's antics finally caught up with him. The referee, growing tired of Vlad’s meddling, called for the disqualification when Vlad shoved him a second time. "Bloodfang Drakov has been disqualified!" shouted Johnny. "Count Vlad cost his team the match!"

Steel Justice was declared the winners by disqualification, much to the crowd's delight. Though victorious, Kellyn and Skyhawk were left seething, knowing they didn't win clean.  This win, however, makes them next in line for a shot at the World Tag Team Titles held by the New Sicilians.

Both teams left however, just before exiting behind the curtain, we see Vlad smirk, just a little.  What is he up to???

Match #4:  The Wicked Prophet vs Zack Brown

The Commando comes out first to a nice loud pop from the crowd.  Zack shakes hands with the fans as he makes his way into the ring.  As he’s getting the crowd psyched up, the music changes and out comes the Wicked Prophet.   Prophet is booed heavily by the crowd.  He mostly ignores them.  He throws back his hood and removes his jacket and is ready for the match.

Backstage Promos:

Mr. X:

The camera cuts to the dimly lit backstage area, where Mr. X stands, his back to the camera, casting a shadowy figure. He slowly turns, his masked face glaring into the lens with an eerie calmness.

"Tonight is not just another night. It's not just another battle. Tonight, I take what should have been mine all along—the HCW World Championship. Jack Lumber... you’re a hero to these people. But heroes are just myths, distractions from reality. I am reality. Cold. Calculated. And I don't care about fan clubs or cheers. All that matters is that title. I don’t care how strong you are, or how much heart you have, because after tonight, all that will remain is the hollow sound of my victory. And there will be no chants for Jack Lumber... only silence."

Mr. X smirks under his mask, folding his arms. He leans in closer to the camera, the tone of his voice chilling.

"I will expose you, Lumber, as nothing more than a myth. Tonight, the legend of Jack Lumber dies."

Jack Lumber:

In another part of the backstage area, the HCW World Champion Jack Lumber stands, his flannel shirt draped over his powerful frame, the World Title glistening on his shoulder. His expression is a mix of determination and confidence as he speaks.

"Mr. X... you wanna talk about being cold and calculated? You wanna talk about breaking myths? Well, let me tell you something, son. You can try all you want to be the biggest threat in this company, hiding behind that mask, acting like you’re untouchable. But you’re not facing some pretender tonight. You’re facing Jack Lumber—the man who has chopped down giants, battled legends, and stood tall as the HCW World Champion!"

Jack adjusts the title on his shoulder, intensity growing in his eyes.

"These people know what I’m about. I’ve fought tooth and nail for this title, and I’m not about to let some snake in the shadows come in and take it from me. You wanna expose me? I’ll expose you as the coward you are. Tonight, Mr. X, you're stepping into my forest. And the only thing that’s getting cut down... is you."

Jack slams his fist into his palm, his voice steady but fierce.

"The Lumber Lounge is here, and you better believe they’re gonna witness me hold this belt up high again when it’s all said and done. So bring everything you’ve got, Mr. X, because tonight, you’re gonna find out why Jack Lumber stands tall as the World Champion!"

Match #5:  Men’s World Title Match:  Jack vs Mr. X

The arena lights dim to near darkness as a haunting, mechanical beat pulses through the speakers. A slow, eerie strobe light flickers as smoke begins to fill the stage. Mr. X emerges from the mist, his face hidden behind his menacing black mask. He walks methodically down the ramp, his cold, calculating demeanor sending a chill through the crowd. The boos rain down on him, but Mr. X is unmoved. His eyes stay fixed on the ring, his mind focused solely on the HCW World Championship.

"Look at this man," Johnny "The Hammer" Harris exclaims. "He is cold. He is ruthless. And he doesn’t care about anything except taking that title from Jack Lumber."

"Mr. X might just be the most dangerous man Jack Lumber has ever faced," adds Mike "The Voice" Johnson. "He’s got nothing to lose and everything to gain."

Mr. X slowly climbs the steps, pausing for a moment as he scans the crowd, then steps into the ring, standing still in the center as the strobe light flickers around him. The atmosphere is tense as he waits for the champion to arrive.

Suddenly, the lights come back on, and the sound of a chainsaw revving and the exclamation “TIMMMMBERRRR” echoes throughout the arena. The crowd erupts in deafening cheers as Jack Lumber's theme music blasts over the speakers. The World Champion storms out onto the stage, clad in his signature flannel shirt, the HCW World Championship proudly strapped around his waist. He raises his arms, acknowledging the roar of the Lumber Lounge fan club, who are out in full force tonight.

"And here he is, the man of the hour!" Mike Johnson shouts. "The HCW World Champion, Jack Lumber!"

Lumber marches down the ramp with purpose, his eyes locked on Mr. X in the ring. He slaps hands with fans along the way, but his focus remains unshaken. The fans chant his name, rallying behind their hero as he approaches the ring.

"Jack Lumber has chopped down every obstacle in his path, but tonight, he's facing something entirely different in Mr. X," Hammer adds. "This is gonna be a war."

Jack climbs up onto the apron, holding the ropes before stepping into the ring. He unstraps the championship and raises it high above his head, standing tall as the crowd continues to chant his name. He hands the title to the referee, who holds it up for all to see.

"Jack Lumber is ready. Mr. X is ready. The HCW World Title is on the line, and it doesn’t get bigger than this!" Mike exclaims as the two men lock eyes, knowing that the battle for the championship is about to begin.

HCW World Heavyweight Championship Match:
Jack Lumber (c) vs. Mr. X

The match began with an electrifying atmosphere as Jack Lumber, the reigning HCW World Heavyweight Champion, faced off against the mysterious and dangerous Mr. X. The tension was thick as the two competitors circled each other, the fans roaring in anticipation. Mike "The Voice" Johnson and Johnny "The Hammer" Harris set the stage on commentary, building up the stakes of this intense showdown.

First Exchange: The action started hot, with Jack Lumber launching Mr. X into an Atomic Drop early in the match. Mr. X, ever the agile technician, quickly countered with a smooth hip roll, demonstrating his quickness. The exchange was evenly matched, setting the tone for a back-and-forth war.

Mike Johnson: "Lumber starting strong, but Mr. X is one step ahead with that hip roll! These two are already testing each other's limits."

Johnny Harris: "It's going to take more than brute strength from Jack tonight. Mr. X is crafty, and he's got his eyes on that title!"

Lumber followed up with a brutal uppercut, but Mr. X absorbed the hit, showing his resilience. Lumber continued to hammer away with punishing strikes, but Mr. X fired back with a vicious chop to the chest, echoing throughout the arena.

As the minutes ticked by, the intensity grew. Lumber nailed Mr. X with a powerful knee lift, but Mr. X, showing off his striking ability, delivered a barefoot kick right to Lumber’s midsection.  The two titans exchanged chops, each blow lighting up the crowd as they fought for supremacy.

Mr. X began to show his ability to counter, reversing a chop attempt and landing a series of dropkicks, sending the champion reeling. With the crowd on their feet, Mr. X hit a perfectly executed Polynesian Piledriver, leaving Lumber struggling to recover.

Mike Johnson: "Oh my! Mr. X has turned the tide with that devastating piledriver! Could we see a new champion?"

Johnny Harris: "Jack Lumber’s in trouble. Mr. X is going for the pin!"

Mr. X went for the cover, 1…2… but Lumber kicked out to a massive roar from the audience. The champ wasn’t going down without a fight.  Mr. X argued with the ref before turning his attention back to the champ.

Not one to be outdone, Lumber fought back, landing a spine-shaking Yukon Bodyslam before hitting his signature move, The Axe. The crowd erupted as Lumber covered Mr. X. 1…2… Mr. X kicked out at the last second, showing his toughness and keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats.

Lumber kept the pressure on, hitting another Atomic Drop and chopping away at Mr. X's chest. But Mr. X, digging deep, unleashed martial arts kicks, keeping the champion off balance. The back-and-forth continued, each man trying to score the decisive blow.

Mike Johnson: "Both men are giving it their all! Neither wants to give an inch, and Mr. X is showing he belongs in the main event!"

Johnny Harris: "Jack Lumber’s a fighting champion, but Mr. X is relentless tonight!"

In the closing moments, Lumber nailed Mr. X with another Kick to the Midsection, followed by an elbow smash. Lumber was in full control, but Mr. X refused to stay down, countering with another hip roll. The champion, sensing the need to finish it, found an opening and once again delivered The Axe, sending Mr. X crashing to the mat.

Mike Johnson: "Jack Lumber with The Axe! Can Mr. X kick out of this one?"

Johnny Harris: "This could be it! Lumber’s going for the cover!"

Lumber covered Mr. X one final time. 1…2…3! The bell rang, and the champion had successfully defended his title.

Jack Lumber stood tall, exhausted but victorious, raising the HCW World Heavyweight Championship above his head to the thunderous applause of the Lumber Lounge. Mr. X, though defeated, had proven his mettle, pushing Lumber to his limit in one of the most hard-fought matches of the champion’s reign.

Mike Johnson: "What a match! Jack Lumber retains the World Championship in a battle for the ages!"

Johnny Harris: "Mr. X brought everything he had, but Lumber once again proves why he's the champion. What a night!"

Jack Lumber celebrated as Mr. X, still in the ring, glared from the canvas, knowing he had come so close but had fallen just short. The saga between these two may be far from over, but tonight belonged to the World Champion, Jack Lumber.  Mr. X leaves in a huff while Jack celebrated in the ring and with the fans to close out the show.

Before the show comes to a close, Count Vlad shows up on the Omegatron.

“People of HCW, in one universe, this HCW Universe, you see Dr. Red Fang as he exists, in this ring. In another, you see the Fang in the video. Both are real. Both must be feared.  The Multiverse holds many secrets, and I hold the key to them all. Beware the Dark Dominion…in any universe.”

That is all for tonight.  Stay tuned as there is sure more to come.
