Hello wrestling fans and welcome to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. At the last show, The Shadow Master did receive a visit from Pierre Boulay but basically said that he had what he needed and everything was under control. Their meeting was very brief. Tonight, before the show began, Count Vlad paid a visit to the Shadow Master and pays him off to leave HCW. He accepted the payout and is no longer employed with HCW which leaves Steel Justice without a manager. The tournament for the Heritage Women’s Championship continues. The matches took place off camera and here is how those matches went.

After pyro goes off, GM Max McGillicutty comes out. He thanks the fans for their continued support and sets the stage for tonight’s event. Max calls out the Six Man Tag Team Champions. Dr. Red Fang, Nightfang and Beastfang, all accompanied by Count Vlad, come out on stage. They are immediately flanked by two dozen security officers. Max states that since the Dark Dominion want to play by their own rules, he is making his own. He officially announces that the Six Man Tag Team Titles are officially dissolved. Count Vlad is furious. Max tells him to calm down and has security take the titles from them. Max tells Vlad that if his team wants to try and go after the new Heritage Tag Team titles they are most welcome. Vlad and the Fangs of Despair with Beastfang turn and leave but Vlad has a mic and tells Max he will regret this decision. He gives a rundown of today’s card and then leaves the stage so the show can begin.
Match #1: Orange Fusion Force vs the Nightstalkers w/ Count Vlad
Count Vlad comes out with the Nightstalkers – Bloodfang and Shadowfang. They are booed heavily as they make their way to the ring. Once there, Vlad gets on the mic and says that any blood shed from here on out will be on their (the fans) hands. The fans then pop as Orange Fusion Force (Owen Zestwell and Julius Squeezer) make their way out. They shake hands with the fans and head to the ring. Bloodfang and Shadowfang pace in the ring as Count Vlad exits. Owen and Julius enter the ring and the bell rings to start the match.
In an intense tag team match, ‘Shadowfang’ Marcus Black and ‘Bloodfang’ Viktor Drakov faced off against Owen ‘Orange Fury’ Zestwell and Julius Squeezer. The match was filled with high-energy moves and dramatic moments, with Mike ‘The Voice’ Johnson and Johnny ‘The Hammer’ Harris providing commentary.
The match began with Owen ‘Orange Fury’ Zestwell executing a Side Headlock on ‘Shadowfang’ Marcus Black, who was unable to defend against it.
Commentary:
Mike ‘The Voice’ Johnson: “Zestwell starting strong with that headlock! Marcus Black is in trouble early on!”
‘Shadowfang’ Marcus Black quickly retaliated with a Guillotine Choke, but Zestwell managed to execute a Slow Motion Kick in response. The back-and-forth action continued with both men trading moves like a Snap Suplex and a Jersey Driver.
Commentary:
Johnny ‘The Hammer’ Harris: “These two are going at it! Neither one is backing down!”
After a series of powerful moves, ‘Shadowfang’ Marcus Black tagged in ‘Bloodfang’ Viktor Drakov. The duo double-teamed Zestwell with a Running Powerslam and a Knee Strike, but Zestwell fought back with a Bodyslam.
The match saw all four men in the ring at one point, with ‘Bloodfang’ Viktor Drakov and ‘Shadowfang’ Marcus Black executing a Clothesline from Hell and a Transylvania Suplex, while Zestwell and Squeezer countered with a Side Headlock and a Back Elbow.
Commentary:
Mike ‘The Voice’ Johnson: “It’s chaos in the ring! Everyone’s getting involved!”
Owen ‘Orange Fury’ Zestwell managed to lock in the Orange Squeeze on ‘Bloodfang’ Viktor Drakov, but Drakov did not submit. Zestwell tagged in Julius Squeezer, who was quickly neutralized by Drakov’s Armbar.
In the final moments, Count Vlad executed a Cheap Shot on Zestwell, allowing ‘Bloodfang’ Viktor Drakov to pin him for the victory.
Commentary:
Johnny ‘The Hammer’ Harris: “What a cheap shot by Vlad! Drakov’s going for the pin!”
Mike ‘The Voice’ Johnson: “Three count! Drakov and Black win! What a match!”
‘Bloodfang’ Viktor Drakov and ‘Shadowfang’ Marcus Black’s victory was a testament to their teamwork and cunning, leaving the crowd booing with intensity.
The Nightstalkers with Count Vlad head to the back. Owen and Julius leave shortly thereafter.
Match #2: Madman Mason vs Chris Thompson
The match between Madman Mason and Chris “Thunderstrike” Thompson was a thrilling encounter, filled with high-impact moves and intense action.
Commentary:
Mike ‘The Voice’ Johnson: “This is going to be a clash of titans! Both Mason and Thompson are known for their power and resilience.”
Johnny ‘The Hammer’ Harris: “Absolutely, Mike. This is a match you don’t want to miss!”
The match began with both competitors executing powerful moves. Madman Mason hit a Vertical Suplex, while Chris “Thunderstrike” Thompson countered with a Knee Drop, both showing their strength and skill.
Mason repeated his Vertical Suplex, but Thompson responded with a DDT, attempting a pin which Mason kicked out of. The back-and-forth action continued with Mason executing a Belly to Back Suplex and Thompson hitting a Vertical Suplex.
Both men traded moves again, with Mason delivering an Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex and Thompson executing a Bodyslam. Thompson then took control with another Vertical Suplex, which Mason absorbed.
Thompson maintained his momentum with a Dropkick, which Mason couldn’t defend against, and followed up with a Knee Drop. Despite Mason’s resilience, Thompson’s relentless offense proved too much.
In the final moments, Thompson executed another Knee Drop, pinning Madman Mason for the victory.

Johnny ‘The Hammer’ Harris: “Three count! Thompson wins! What a match!”
Chris “Thunderstrike” Thompson’s victory showcased his dominance and skill, leaving the crowd in awe of his performance.
Mason stormed to the back while Chris celebrated with the fans before also heading to the back.
Back in his gothic room, Count Vlad, flanked by Beastfang receives a phone call. Originally, this call was in Romanian but thanks to our translating service, we were able to decipher it.
[Phone rings. Count Vlad answers.]
Count Vlad: This is Vlad.
Unknown Caller: Vlad, it’s me. I have some news you might find interesting.
Count Vlad: Go on.
Unknown Caller: Ruth Heartless and Pierre Boulay had a meeting after their sessions with you. It seems they’ve formed an alliance of their own.
Count Vlad: (chuckles) How predictable. Did they discuss any plans?
Unknown Caller: They were cautious, but it sounded like they might be preparing something to counter you, just in case.
Count Vlad: I expected as much. Keep a close eye on them. I want to know every move they make.
Unknown Caller: Understood. Anything specific you want me to look out for?
Count Vlad: Any signs of them rallying support or making deals to enhance their groups. And if they try to set a trap for me, I want to know before they even think about it.
Unknown Caller: Consider it done. I’ll keep you informed.
Count Vlad: Excellent. Remember, discretion is key. If they suspect we’re onto them, it could ruin everything.
Unknown Caller: Don’t worry, Count. They’ll never see it coming.
Count Vlad: Good. Keep me posted.

Match #3: Steel Justice vs the Hubers
The Hubers make their way out first to booing from the crowd. They threaten to hit the fans but hold back…barely. Once in the ring, the music changed and out comes Steel Justice. They get a huge pop from the hometown crowd. This is their first match without their manager after the Shadow Master took his payoff and skipped town.
In an electrifying showdown, the Hubers faced off against Steel Justice in a high-stakes wrestling match. Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris exclaimed, "Steel Justice is on fire with their double-team tactics!"
Early on, Kellyn 'The Raven Archer' Chrisari and Alex 'Skyhawk' Justice dominated with impressive maneuvers like Chrisari's Raven’s Flight Body Press and Justice's Enchanted Dropkick. However, the Hubers struck back hard, with Butch Huber delivering a devastating Discus Lariat and Ferb Huber landing a Big Boot.
As the match progressed, Butch and Ferb's brutal tactics, including a Catapult Hangman and Spinning Side Slam, had the crowd on edge. Despite Steel Justice's resilience, including Justice's Celestial Spiral Leg Drop and multiple dives to the outside, the Hubers' relentless double-teaming created significant challenges. Mike 'the Voice' Johnson noted, "The Hubers’ brutal strategy is putting Steel Justice to the test!"
In a dramatic turn of events, Alex 'Skyhawk' Justice clinched victory with a final Justice Dive to the outside, counting Butch Huber out. The match concluded with Justice's strategic maneuver sealing their win, showcasing the resilience and tactical prowess of Steel Justice against the formidable Hubers. (23 min)
Steel Justice gets the win and are heading back into contention for the Tag Team Titles.
Back in his office, GM Max McGillicutty hangs up the phone but is startled when Ladies Champion Korbi Kong enters. Max tells her that the ladies roster will continue to grow providing more talent for the division. He says he just now secured the contracts for 2 new women wrestlers Phoenix Blaze and Starla Nova. Korbi says she’s glad to see the extra attention being given to her division but says that is not why she’s here. She wants to discuss Selena Blackfang. Max says the Dark Dominion is pushing the envelope to see what he can get away with but he is prepared after dealing with the whole “Superstar Billy Pearl incident” from years ago and even the federation ownerships changing hands when Negronomicon took the business from owner Donnie B and almost ran it into the ground. Max has her close the door and we don’t get to hear the rest of the conversation.
Match #4: Goldie Locks vs Luciana Albano w/Pierre Boulay
Luciana comes out first with Pierre and they are booed all the way to the ring. Luciana gets on the mic and tells the audience she WILL become the first ever Heritage Women’s Champion when she goes all the way in the tournament. The music changed and out comes Goldie Locks. Goldie tells her that the tournament is different than the here and now and tonight, she will take the fight to Luciana. She charges the ring and slides under the ropes. Luciana begins stomping on her right off the bat but Goldie is on her feet relatively quick and takes the fight to her opponent. Goldie locks in the Twin City Surf board but Luciana doesn’t tap and powers out of it sending Goldie to the floor. The ref begins his count and Luciana hurls Goldie into the steel steps before rolling back in just before the 10 count. Goldie is counted out and the win goes to Luciana who showboats until Goldie recovered and chased her and Pierre to the back with a steel chair in hand. (1 min)
Match #5: The Main Event: The Rich Athlete vs Blake ‘Oak Tree’ Hill for the US Title
In a thrilling match, The Rich Athlete, accompanied by his cunning manager Ruth Heartless, faced off against the resilient Blake ‘Oak Tree’ Hill. The Rich Athlete, the reigning US Champion, started strong with a headlock, but Blake quickly countered with a leg drop. The match saw a series of intense exchanges, with both wrestlers showcasing their signature moves.
Mike “The Voice” Johnson: “What a match, folks! The Rich Athlete is pulling out all the stops tonight, and Ruth Heartless is proving to be a real game-changer at ringside!”
Johnny “The Hammer” Harris: “Absolutely, Mike! Blake ‘Oak Tree’ Hill is giving it everything he’s got, but The Rich Athlete’s experience and cunning are shining through. That Million Dollar Kneedrop was devastating!”
Blake managed to neutralize The Rich Athlete’s Fortune’s Fist and even strapped in a bearhug, but The Rich Athlete refused to submit. Ruth Heartless played a crucial role, verbally antagonizing and pointing out weaknesses in Blake, giving The Rich Athlete the upper hand multiple times. Despite Blake’s powerful moves like the ringrope clothesline and avalanche, The Rich Athlete’s relentless attacks, including the Million Dollar Kneedrop and Luxurious Leglock, kept him in control.
The match reached its climax with The Rich Athlete executing a shin breaker and a headlock, followed by Ruth Heartless distracting Blake. In the end, The Rich Athlete pinned Blake after a swinging neckbreaker, securing his victory and retaining the US Championship.
Mike “The Voice” Johnson: “And let’s not forget Blake’s resilience! He kicked out of multiple pin attempts and even had The Rich Athlete in a bearhug. This guy’s got heart!”
Johnny “The Hammer” Harris: “But in the end, it was Ruth Heartless’s distraction and The Rich Athlete’s relentless offense that sealed the deal. What a finish with that swinging neckbreaker! The Rich Athlete retains the US Championship!”
Mike “The Voice” Johnson: “What a night! The Rich Athlete and Ruth Heartless continue to dominate the ring. Blake Hill will surely be back for more, but tonight belongs to The Rich Athlete!”
The Rich Athlete stands tall mocking the fans with Ruth by his side and the ring gets showered with debris. It doesn’t faze him a bit.
