Hello fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. The show begins right away as we hear “TIMMMMMBERRRRR” echo from the speakers. The crowd pops HUGE for the flannel wearing lumberjack. Jack stands on the stage soaking in the adulation from the fans. For a moment, he is overcome with emotion and then makes his way to the ring. He climbs in as the fans chant his name. He asks for a mic and then waits for the crowd to settle down before launching into his promo.
Jack Lumber: “Ladies and gentlemen,
you’ve seen the carnage. You’ve witnessed the brutality. Mr. X, you’ve tried to
chop me down like a mighty oak, but let me tell you something—I’m no ordinary
tree. I’m Jack Lumber, and I’ve weathered storms fiercer than your twisted mind
can conjure.”
The crowd roars in approval.
Jack Lumber: “Mr. X, you’ve made it
personal. You’ve targeted me, week after week, leaving me battered and broken.
But tonight, I stand here—bruised, bloodied, but unyielding. And I’ve got a
proposition for you.”
He locks eyes with the entrance
ramp.
Jack Lumber: “Mr. X, I challenge you
to an Iron Man Match—a best of three falls—inside a steel cage. No escape, no
respite. Just you and me, settling this once and for all. And here’s the
kicker—I’ll make it easy for you.”
He smirks.
Jack Lumber: “You see, I’m already
booked for the PPV—a triple threat match for the World Title. But I’m willing
to put that opportunity on the line. If you can defeat me tonight, Mr. X, you
can take my spot. You can have the chance to become the next World Champion.”
The crowd gasps, caught off guard by
Jack’s audacity.
Jack Lumber: “I know what you’re
thinking, Mr. X. ‘Why would I risk my title shot?’ Well, it’s simple. I want to
prove that I can beat you fair and square. No ambushes, no sneak attacks. Just
two warriors, battling it out until one stands victorious.”
He raises the microphone.
Jack Lumber: “So, Mr. X, what do you
say? Are you man enough to step inside that steel cage? Are you willing to risk
it all for a chance at glory? Or will you cower like the coward you truly are?”
The arena falls silent as
anticipation hangs in the air.
And then, the ominous music hits.
Mr. X emerges, his hood covering
most of his face. He strides to the ring, microphone in hand.
Mr. X: “Jack Lumber, you’re an
idiot. A sentimental fool who thinks honor matters in this business. But you
know what? I’ll take your offer. I’ll gladly step into that cage and dismantle
you. And when I do, I’ll not only take your title shot—I’ll end your career.”
The crowd boos as Mr. X climbs into
the ring.
Mr. X: “You want to give away your
chance at the World Title? Fine. But remember this, Lumber: I thrive on chaos.
I revel in pain. And tonight, inside that unforgiving steel, I’ll show you why
they call me Mr. X.”
The tension is palpable as the two
foes lock eyes.
Commentary (off-screen): “A
high-stakes challenge issued, a title shot on the line. Jack Lumber vs. Mr.
X—an explosive collision awaits!”
Fade out and go to commercial.
And…we’re
back. That was a very emotional promo
from Jack Lumber putting everything on the line so he can teach Mr. X a thing
or two. With this match our first of two
main events, we will also see a rematch between Madman Mason and JR Fargo,
Steel Justice will be in action as will Dennis Marshall and our main event sees
Ladies Champion Luciana Albano taking on Luna Shadow for the title. Let’s get this show on the road.

follows him out and shows us a level of aggressiveness we haven’t seen from him
before. He slammed Mason’s head into the
steel steps 3x and then ran him in to the ringpost. JR then rolled back into the ring.

Mason is on the outside. The ref begins
the count.

Magnificent Juan Raul Fargo wins with a HURL OUT OF RING - Count Out over
Madman Mason!!!
JR Fargo gets the
countout win but he’s not done. He goes
back out of the ring but Mason was playing possum and hurled JR into the
ringside barrier. He then picked up JR
and hit the Psychotic Break on the Spanish announce table which didn’t
break. Mason picks up Fargo and delivers
a powerbomb on to the SAT but it still doesn’t break. Mason lays Fargo on the table and then goes
to the top rope. It looks like he’s
going for a splash. He leaps and Fargo
moves at the last second and Mason crashes through the table destroying
it. Both men laid on the ground and got
to their feet at roughly the same time where they continued to brawl and took
it all the way to the back.
A dimly lit backstage corridor at
the HCW arena. Crates and equipment line the walls. The air crackles with
tension. Tommy ‘the Morningstar’
Sullivan stands over Duke Knight.
Tommy ‘the Morningstar’ Sullivan:
(whispers) “Duke Knight, you naive fool. Your catering to the fans blinds you
to the reality of this business.”
Tommy’s knuckles are wrapped in
barbed wire, hidden beneath his wrist tape.
Duke Knight: (leaning against a
crate, bloodied from the attack) “Tommy, it’s about heart, not just victories.
The fans—”
Before Duke can finish, Tommy lunges
at him, fists like sledgehammers. The backstage crew scatters, and the brawl
erupts. Blood sprays.
Tommy ‘the Morningstar’: “Your
shining armor won’t save you, Duke. Darkness is my ally.”
Tommy smashes Duke into a stack of
crates, the impact echoing through the corridor. Officials rush in, but Tommy’s
rage knows no bounds.
Duke retaliates with a headbutt but
Tommy counters with a low blow.
Ambassador: “Tommy, unleash the
beast. Show him pain.” The Ambassador’s
eyes gleam with malice.
Tommy ‘the Morningstar’: “Gladly.”
Tommy grabs a steel chair, swinging
it at Duke’s ribs. The crowd noise from the arena filters backstage.
Duke Knight: “You’re a monster,
Tommy.”
Blood trickles from Duke’s brow, but
he refuses to stay down.
Tommy ‘the Morningstar’: “Tonight,
Duke, I broke you. The next time I’ll be
standing over your corpse.”
He glares at Duke, then smashes the
chair across his back.
Officials pile on, pulling Tommy
away. Duke gasps for breath, but his spirit remains unyielding.
Ambassador: “Tommy, finish him. The
fans will witness your brutality.”
Tommy ‘the Morningstar’: “Not
tonight. Duke, remember this pain.
Tonight, darkness prevailed.”
He walks away, leaving Duke crumpled
against the wall.
Fade out.
Commentary (off-screen): “Tommy ‘the
Morningstar’ Sullivan’s viciousness knows no bounds. Duke Knight faces a
nightmare when they finally square off!”
Match #2: Steel
Justice vs the Flaggship.
Next on the card
is the Flaggship (Col Flagg and the Bounty Hunter Jake Montrose) who make their
way out to the ring first amid the boos and profanity hurled at them by the
fans. Flagg had a few choice words for a
fan that left him speechless. The get into
the ring and continue to berate the fans until the music changed and out comes
Steel Justice – Alex Justice and Kellyn Chrisari with their manager The Shadow
Master. Steel Justice gets a solid pop
from the crowd as they make their way to the ring. The climb in and Flagg and Montrose attack
before SJ can get their jackets off.
Eventually they succeed and then retaliate hurling both Flagg and
Montrose out of the ring as the fans pop.
The heels return slowly to the ring and out match officially begins.

An appearance by
the Commando leads Steel Justice to their first victory in HCW. They take the win and then leave. Flagg had run after Brown for costing him the
match.
Setting: A dimly lit room backstage
at the HCW arena. The Wicked Prophet stands before the camera, his hood casting
shadows over his face.
The Wicked Prophet: “Dennis
Marshall, you pitiful insect. Tonight, our paths intersect, and you’ll learn
that destiny favors the wicked. You see, I am the harbinger of pain, the
whisperer of suffering. Your feeble attempts at heroism won’t save you. When
the bell tolls, your fate will be sealed.”
He clenches his fists.
The Wicked Prophet: “Dennis, you’re
a mere pawn in my cosmic game. Your resilience? Laughable. Your dreams of
victory? Delusions. Tonight, I’ll unravel your hopes, thread by thread. Your
screams will echo through eternity.”
He steps closer to the camera.
The Wicked Prophet: “But let’s
address the real fool—the so-called ‘People’s Champion,’ Jack Lumber. Jack,
you’ve gambled your title shot against Mr. X. How quaint. How utterly foolish.
You think honor matters? Titles? The fans’ adoration? No, Jack. In this dark
dance, only power prevails.”
His eyes gleam with malice.
The Wicked Prophet: “Mr. X—the enigma,
the malevolence. He thrives on chaos, feasts on suffering. And you, Jack,
you’ve handed him the keys to your kingdom. Your stupidity knows no bounds.”
He leans in.
The Wicked Prophet: “But perhaps
it’s fitting. You, Jack, are a relic—a relic of hope, of virtue. Tonight, Mr. X
will break you. He’ll shatter your spirit, and your precious title shot will
slip through your fingers like sand.”
He laughs, a chilling sound.
The Wicked Prophet: “So, Jack,
embrace your idiocy. Revel in your noble sacrifice. As for me, Dennis Marshall,
I’ll leave you broken in the ring. And when the dust settles, the prophecy will
unfold: darkness ascends, and the wicked reign.”
He raises his arms, invoking unseen
forces.
Fade out.
Commentary (off-screen): “The Wicked
Prophet’s malevolence knows no bounds. Dennis Marshall faces a nightmare, and
Jack Lumber’s gamble may cost him everything!”

Dennis Marshall
makes his way out first to a solid pop from the crowd. He interacts with the
fans as he makes his way into the ring.
The Wicked Prophet wasted no time in having his music hit and started to
make his way to the ring.

stands tall and smirks as his hand is raised in victory. Wilber Townsend cost Dennis this match. Dennis will get his revenge once he secures a
contract against the US Champion.
Match #4: Jack
Lumber vs Mr. X in a best of 3 falls match within the confines of a steel cage. Jack’s participation in Meltdowns title shot
is on the line.
The cage is
lowered to the ring and secured. Once it
was confirmed, Mr. X’s music hits and he makes his way out to severe heat from
the fans. He flips them off in kind. He enters the cage through the door. Mr. X then pulls out a chain and secures the
door so Jack will have to enter from the top of the cage. “TIMMMMBERRRRRR” echoes and the fans pop huge
as Jack Lumber makes his return to the ring.
He shakes hands with the fans and those in the Lumber Lounge and then
heads to the ring. He begins to scale
the cage and Mr. X shakes the cage wall trying to make Jack fall off. Eventually Jack makes it over the top and
into the ring. Mr. X has nowhere to go. The bell rings.
Fall
#1: The
bell tolled, and the match began.
Jack lunged, fists flying. His STIFF
UPPERCUT caught Mr. X off guard, but the masked man retaliated with a HAWAIIAN
DIVE—a move that left Jack reeling. The points on the scoreboard shifted, each
blow a testament to their skill and desperation.
Mr. X attempted a pin, but Jack
kicked out, refusing to yield. The crowd held its breath, torn between
admiration for Jack’s resilience and fear of Mr. X’s wrath.
As the minutes ticked by, the cage
witnessed a symphony of violence. Jack’s FLYING DROPKICK soared through the
air, while Mr. X absorbed the punishment, his stoic expression unchanged. The
crowd roared, caught in the ebb and flow of the battle.
Then came the defining moment—the
USE BRASS KNUCKLES—DRAW BLOOD. Jack’s secret weapon, hidden until now, struck
Mr. X square in the jaw. Blood sprayed, staining the mat — the crowd erupted.
But Mr. X refused to fall. He absorbed the pain, eyes never leaving Jack.
In a desperate bid, Jack pinned Mr.
X. One… two… three! The cage shook as the referee’s hand hit the mat. Jack had
secured the first fall, but the battle was far from over.
Fall
#2: The
bell tolled, and the match began.
Jack lunged, fists flying. His KNOCK
REF UNCONSCIOUS technique aimed to incapacitate the referee, but Mr. X
countered with a BARE FOOT KICK that left Jack reeling. The points on the
scoreboard shifted, each blow a testament to their skill and desperation.
The referee lay sprawled,
incapacitated. The crowd held its breath, torn between admiration for Jack’s
resilience and fear of Mr. X’s wrath.
In the second minute, Jack’s SPEAR
struck true, driving Mr. X into the cage—the crowd roared. But Mr. X was no
ordinary adversary. He absorbed the impact, eyes never leaving Jack.
The third minute saw Jack execute an
ATOMIC DROP, and Mr. X retaliated with a TURNAROUND SIDEKICK. The points
remained even, the steel cage quivering with their struggle.
The fourth minute brought a shift.
Mr. X’s MARTIAL ARTS technique landed. Jack’s
defense failed, and the referee stirred, overseeing the battle once more.
But in the fifth minute, the tide
turned. Mr. X unleashed the SUGAR CANE SLEEPER, wrapping his arm around Jack’s
throat. The crowd gasped as Jack struggled, unable to defend.
Jack attempted a YUKON BODYSLAM, but
Mr. X neutralized it. The crowd watched, torn between awe and anxiety. The
steel cage bore witness to their struggle—their pain, their determination.
In the seventh minute, Jack’s SPEAR
met resistance again, neutralized by Mr. X. The cage quivered as their struggle
intensified.
Eighth minute—the crowd held its
breath. Jack executed a FLYING DOUBLE-LOADED ELBOW TO GROIN, stunning Mr. X. and
the arena erupted. But Mr. X refused to fall. He absorbed the pain, eyes never
leaving Jack.
Ninth minute—Jack’s ATOMIC DROP
struck once more, and Mr. X executed a HAWAIIAN DIVE. The points remained
close, the crowd on the edge of their seats.
And then, in the twelfth minute, Mr.
X hit the HAWAIIAN DIVE once again and this time, he covered Jack. One… two… (hooks
the tights) three! The cage shook as the referee’s hand hit the mat. Mr. X won
this fall, but the war is far from over.
As Mr. X stood victorious, the crowd
wondered: Would the third fall decide it all? Or would darkness prevail once
more?
Fall #3: Through 12 minutes, both men spilt blood and
kept the fans on the edges of their seats the entire time. The fans kept chanting Jack’s name to give
him the intestinal fortitude he needed to overcome the diabolical Mr. X. We now join the match at the 12 minute mark.

The fans are
SHOCKED. Mr. X stole the win and now he
advances to the triple threat match at the Meltdown PPV. Jack is eventually freed but he appears
defeated as he knows he let the fans down.
Just then, GM Max McGillicutty came out.
He says that Mr. X did win the match, he knew the rules and yet chose to
push the limits. Max says that as the
GM, he gets to make the final decision and announces that at Meltdown, it will
no longer be a Triple Threat Match for the World Title…it will now be a Fatal
Four Way. The fans pop HUGE! He continues saying that the ONLY way the
title will change hands is if the Champion is pinned. If Prophet, Mr. X or Lumber are pinned, the
belt will NOT change hands. The fans are
happy that Jack is still in the match.
He still feels bad for losing the 3rd fall. The Lumber Lounge takes him in and has him
sit with them to watch the main event.
Setting: A dimly lit corridor
backstage at the HCW arena. Luciana Albano, the reigning Ladies Champion,
stands with her manager, Pierre Boulay. The camera focuses on them.
Luciana Albano (holding the Ladies
Championship belt): (smirking) “Luna Shadow, my dear challenger. You’ve been
lurking in the shadows, waiting for your moment. But tonight, the spotlight is
mine.”
She adjusts the championship belt on
her shoulder.
Pierre Boulay (leaning in,
whispering): “Luciana, my champion, the arena awaits your words.”
Luciana Albano: “Luna, you were a
mere obstacle in the battle royal. I tossed you aside like a discarded pawn.
But now, in our one-on-one match, there’ll be no distractions, no allies. Just
you and me.”
She locks eyes with the camera.
Luciana Albano: “Luna, you’re a
shadow—a fleeting presence. But I am the reigning Ladies Champion. I’ve fought
battles, overcome odds. Tonight, I’ll extinguish your light, leaving you lost
in the darkness.”
Pierre nods, his eyes gleaming.
Pierre Boulay: “And Luna, if you
think you can rise from the ashes, remember this: Luciana Albano doesn’t share
the spotlight. Tonight, you’ll learn that the hard way.”
They walk away, leaving the camera
lingering on the Ladies Championship belt.
Fade out.
Commentary (off-screen): “Luciana
Albano’s confidence is unwavering. Luna Shadow faces an uphill battle. Can she
emerge from the shadows and dethrone the reigning champion?”
Match #5: the
Main Event: Luciana Albano w/Pierre
Boulay vs Luna Shadow for the title
The challenger
Luna comes out first to a solid pop from the crowd. She slaps the hands of a couple of fans but
is all business and rushes down to the ring.
She enters and climbs the corner turnbuckle to a pop from the
crowd. She steps down and motions for
her challenger to come out. The music
changes and out comes the Ladies Champion Luciana Albano accompanied by her
manager Pierre Boulay. The duo head to

That one crumbled as Luna crashed through it.
The show comes to
an end with Luciana holding her title high standing over Luna Shadow.
