Hello fans and welcome to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. We are back in Columbia after our trip out to Houston, TX. The first thing we wanted to call out was the situation with Mr. X. It turns out Mr. X was NEVER intended to be on yesterday’s show so why he made the trip all the way out there for no reason is beyond us. Tonight, the flannel wearing lumberjack Jack Lumber will be in action. Alejandro Guerrero will take on Col. Flagg in a steel cage. The New Sicilians will defend the World Tag Team titles against the 5th Column in our main event. We will also hear from Hayley Hailstorm after the brutal beating she took at the hands of Ladies Champion Luciana Albano. We have a lot to get to so let’s get this show on the road.
Match #1: Rigg A Mortis w/ Pierre Boulay vs Dominic
Marconi
This
match was a revenge of sorts as Rigg walked away from their last encounter
after Pierre got involved and gave Dominic his only loss. ‘The Italian Throughbred’ comes out first and
the fans pop huge for him. He makes his
way to the ring shaking hands with the fans.
He climbs into the ring and climbs the corner turnbuckle eliciting a bigger
pop. The music changed and out comes the
monster Rigg A Mortis with Pierre Boulay.
Rigg is carrying one of the 6 Man Tag Team titles with him. He climbs in over the top rope and gets right
into Dominic’s face holding the title mere inches in front of him. The bell rings starting this one off.
Pierre
Boulay got involved right off the bat giving Rigg the boost he needed. Dominic would not be held back and used his
strength to overpower the monster. Rigg
controlled the majority of the match but Dominic got in some good shots
stunning the beast. We join the match
now at the beginning of the 17th minute.

'The
Italian Thoroughbred' Dominic Marconi wins with a BACKBREAKER over Rigg A
Mortis!!!
Dominic
Marconi gets the win via submission however the ref looks down and sees the
foreign object. He questions if Marconi
used it on Rigg. Dominic insisted he did
not and that it was Pierre who introduced the object into the match. The ref then informed the time keeper that he
was REVERSING his decision and awarding the match to Rigg A Mortis by
disqualification. The fans responded in
a disapproving uproar. The ref raised
Rigg’s hand until GM Max McGillicutty came out.
Pierre and Rigg tried to leave the ring but Max told them to stay put. Max then directed the ref to look at the
replay where it was clear that Pierre DID give Rigg the foreign object and it
fell out of Rigg’s hand when Dominic locked him in the backbreaker. The ref then reverse the reversal and
re-awarded the match to Dominic. The
fans voiced their approval this time.
We
cut backstage where we see Mr. X attacking O.P. Cunningham with a ladder and
says he should be the #1 contender for the Hardcore title. After security got involved and separated the
two, OP agrees to a match at the PPV.
Match #2: Jack Lumber vs Kroman the Barbarian
Kroman
the Barbarian comes out and mocks the crowd.
The music changes and out comes Jack Lumber. The fans pop huge for him. He makes his way out and stops at the Lumber
Lounge to visit with those fans and then heads to the ring. He gets in the ring and climbs the second
turnbuckle only for Kroman to attack him from behind before the bell rang. Eventually the ref got them separated and
started the match. Jack starts off
hitting Kroman with a spear. Kroman hits
a Diving Lariat and Jack hits the Axe.
He goes for the pin but only gets a 1 count. Jack hits an elbow drop and he followed it up
with an atomic drop. Kroman hit a leg
drop. Jack chops Kroman across the chest
and Kroman hits a backbreaker. Jack
winds up and nails an Atomic Elbow smash.
He immediately rolls Kroman up and gets the 1-2-3 in just 6
minutes. Jack gets the win and the fans
pop. Just then, Wilber Townsend rushes
in and attacks Jack. The two fight all
the way to the back.
Former
Hardcore Champion Tommy ‘the Morningstar’ Sullivan comes out with Dr. Red Fang,
Azrael, and the Ambassador and calls out SCW Triple Threat who he knows is
hiding in the audience. Elias, Sam
Adonis and Lee Moriarty make their way to the ring and they are accompanied by
SCW Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle.
Tommy challenges them to a match next week at the Warzone PPV. Angle accepts on their behalf. A brawl breaks out and a dozen refs come out
to break up the melee.
Match #3: Chloe Parker vs Goldie Locks
Goldie
makes her way out first to a nice pop from the crowd. Chloe Parker, her opponent, comes out shortly
thereafter. They waste no time in
getting this match going. Goldie drops
Chloe with a one handed bulldog followed by a second. Chloe hits a running cutter and Goldie hits a
tilt-a-whirl headscissors. Goldie then
locks in a twin city surfboard and she gets Chloe to tap out. Goldie Locks gets the win via
submission. (4 min). The fans give her a nice pop as she heads to
the back.
The
Banker makes his way out to booing from the crowd. He climbs into the ring and with mic in hand,
he calls out Evan Stockwell and Ruth Heartless.
The Banker states that he never received a return match so he is
challenging Stockwell for the title next week.
Ruth says no and that the Banker is ‘yesterday’s news’ and doesn’t
deserve anything. The Banker drops so
not-so-subtle hints about Evan’s manhood and he quickly accepts. Evan tells Ruth this will be best for
business when he defeats the Banker.
They turn and head to the back.
The Banker follows shortly thereafter.
Match #4: Alejandro Guerrero vs Col. Flagg in a steel
cage.
The
steel cage lowers and we are getting ready for our next match. First, Col. Flagg makes his way out and the
fans boo the crap out of him. He
verbally taunts the fans and enters the cage through the door. The music changes and out comes Alejandro
Guerrero. Lee stands on the stage
soaking in the cheers from the crowd and then runs down to the ring. He jumps up and immediately begins to scale
the wall. He climbs over the top and
begins the decent into the ring. He
stands on the top turnbuckle with his arms raised. The fans pop.
The ref tells him to step down, which he does, and the match is ready to
begin.
Right
off the bat, Lee goes for a bulldog but Flagg neutralizes it. Lee stuns Flagg with a headbutt and then
grabs a pair of brass knuckles that Flagg dropped and SMASHES Flagg in the
face. He goes for the pin but Flagg
kicks out. He then chokes Flagg between
the ropes and cage. He then goes for a
pin and scores the 1-2-3. He ties Flagg
up in the ropes and heads to the door.
He opens it and steps out securing the win in only 4 minutes. Alejandro gets the win. Flagg got himself loose and took a mic. He called Lee a cheater and that only a
coward takes the cheap way out.
Alejandro looks to the fans and they give him their approval. Alejandro gets back in the ring and tells the
ref to start the match once again.

[The HCW arena is filled with a mix
of anticipation and concern as the fans await the in-ring announcement from
Hayley Hailstorm. The lights dim, and Hayley's entrance music plays, signaling
her arrival. She makes her way to the ring, visibly favoring one side due to
her injuries. The crowd acknowledges her with a bittersweet mixture of cheers
and sympathy.]
Hayley Hailstorm: (takes a
deep breath) Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for being here tonight. I stand
before you not as the fierce competitor you've come to know, but as someone who
has faced the harsh realities that come with the world of professional
wrestling.
[Hayley looks around the arena, her
expression a blend of gratitude and sadness.]
Hayley Hailstorm: Some
battles we win, and some battles, well, they take more from us than we could
ever imagine. As many of you saw, I recently faced off against Luciana Albano
for the Ladies Championship. It was a brutal match, and, unfortunately, the
injuries sustained during that encounter have forced me to make one of the
hardest decisions of my life.
[Hayley's tone becomes somber as she
addresses the crowd.]
Hayley Hailstorm: Tonight,
I stand before you to announce my retirement from active competition.
[A hushed murmur spreads throughout
the arena as fans absorb the weight of Hayley's words. She pauses, taking a
moment to compose herself.]
Hayley Hailstorm:
Wrestling has been my life, my passion, my everything. It's given me moments of
triumph, but it also comes with sacrifices. It's taken a toll on my body, and
I've reached a point where I need to prioritize my health and well-being.
[Hayley looks directly into the
camera, conveying the sincerity of her message.]
Hayley Hailstorm: Luciana,
you may have tried to break my body, but you will never break my spirit. I
leave this ring with my head held high, knowing that I gave everything I had to
this sport. As for the Ladies Championship, it deserves a champion who can
carry its legacy forward, and I have faith that the HCW Women's Division will
continue to thrive.
[The crowd responds with a heartfelt
round of applause, acknowledging Hayley's contributions to the promotion.]
Hayley Hailstorm: To the
HCW Universe, thank you for your unwavering support throughout my career. Your
cheers, your chants, they fueled me. And to my fellow competitors, cherish
every moment in that ring. It's a privilege that can be taken away in the blink
of an eye.
[Hayley takes a final look around
the arena, absorbing the energy from the fans.]
Hayley Hailstorm: This isn't
goodbye; it's a new chapter. I may not be an active competitor, but I will
always be a part of the HCW family. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
[Hayley Hailstorm exits the ring to
a mixture of applause and tears, leaving behind a legacy that will be
remembered in the hearts of the HCW faithful.]
We
cut back stage for a couple of promos.
Banker Promo
[The camera fades in to reveal The Banker sitting at a desk
in a dimly lit room. His briefcase is beside him. He adjusts his tie and clears
his throat before speaking.]
The Banker: "Listen up, wrestling world. It's time to
make some investments in the future, and that future is me. You see, I've been
playing this game long enough to know that loyalty only gets you so far. Ruth
Heartless may have thought she could control me, but she couldn't contain the
ambition burning within. Now, I'm on a path to greatness, and Evan Stockwell is
just another obstacle in my way."
[He smirks confidently, tapping his briefcase for emphasis.]
The Banker: "Evan, you may think you have the upper
hand with Ruth by your side, but let me remind you, I wrote the playbook. I'm
pulling out all the stops to secure my eventual shot at the World Championship.
So get ready, because when you step into that ring with me, it's not just about
winning—it's about making a statement. And I'll be delivering your statement
personally."
[He lays his briefcase on the desk and flips it open. We
can't see inside, but he ends with a calculated grin.]
Evan Stockwell

[The scene cuts to Evan Stockwell, standing in front of a
backdrop adorned with his logo. He crosses his arms, a confident smirk playing
on his lips as he addresses the camera.]
Evan Stockwell: "Well, well, well, look who's decided
to crawl out from under their rock and challenge me for a shot at the MY TV
Title. The Banker, huh? Funny how quickly allegiances change in this business.
But let me make one thing crystal clear: Ruth Heartless didn't just choose me
because of my talent. She chose me because I'm a winner, plain and
simple."
[He steps forward, his eyes burning with intensity.]
Evan Stockwell: "You may think you're smart, Banker,
but you're playing a dangerous game. You may have broken ties with Ruth, but
you can't erase the history you have together. And now, you want to step into
the ring with me? You want to test your luck against the best in the business?
Well, be careful what you wish for, because I'm not just going to beat you—I'm
going to humiliate you."
[He smirks arrogantly, cracking his knuckles.]
Evan Stockwell: "So bring your briefcase, bring your tricks, because when the dust settles, there's only going to be one man standing tall. And spoiler alert, it's not going to be you. Get ready to learn a hard lesson, Banker. The stock market may be unpredictable, but one thing's for sure: in this ring, I'm the only sure bet."
[He stares into the camera with unwavering confidence as the scene fades out.]
Match #5: The Main Event: New Sicilians vs the 5th Column
for the World Tag Team Titles
In a grueling 30-minute tag team
championship match, The New Sicilians (Dick and Vinnie Albano) faced off
against the formidable duo known as the 5th Column (Baron von Blood and Oswald
Zimmerman). The match was filled with intense back-and-forth action, with both
teams showcasing their resilience and determination.
The New Sicilians demonstrated their
cunning and dirty tactics, executing various underhanded maneuvers to gain an
advantage. However, the 5th Column responded with a relentless onslaught,
utilizing double-team tactics and powerful strikes to keep the Sicilians on
their toes.
As the match progressed, both teams
exchanged impactful moves and attempted pinfalls, but neither side could secure
the decisive victory. The encounter reached its climax with a chaotic
double-team sequence that showcased the brutality of the competition.
In the end, the 30-minute battle
concluded with neither team emerging as the clear winner, resulting in a draw.
The New Sicilians, still holding onto their HCW Tag Team Championships, sent a
clear message that they are undeterred and ready for whatever challenges lie
ahead, while the 5th Column, though resilient, left the arena without claiming
the coveted titles. The draw leaves the door open for a potential rematch and
further escalation of the heated rivalry between these two formidable tag teams
in the future.
As
the New Sicilians stand tall holding their titles high, they are immediately
joined by Aldo, Carlo and Rigg A Mortis.
They join their brothers in the ring.
Their moment is spoiled as Juan Raul Fargo, Alejandro Guerrero and
Dominic Marconi come out on stage. The
fans pop huge for them. They head to the
ring. Once there, they issue a challenge
to the Albano family for a Wargames style match at the PPV. Dick gets on the mic and says they can’t seem
to add as it is 5 against 3. Just then,
Biceps Bannerman and Duke Knight come out.
They say they will stand with JR and team against the Albano Clan. Just then, Ladies Champion Luciana Albano
comes out and says that the Albanos ALL stand together. Now it’s 6 vs 5. Korbi Kong comes out and the fans
explode. She makes her way to the ring
and says SHE will stand with JR and team and now it’s 6 vs 6. GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says the
Wargames match is set.
The
show comes to an end with all 12 people in the ring on the verge of starting
the match right here and right now.
The
PPV is up next so stay tuned.
