Hello wrestling fans and welcome to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. As we get closer to our Zero Hour PPV in just 2 weeks, rivalries are heating up approaching a boiling point. We will see members of the Albano family in action tonight but where there is one, there are sure to be others lurking in dark corners.

Vicious Vinnie and
his weasel of a manager Pierre Boulay come out first to a very negative
reaction from the crowd. Vinnie swipes a
couple of signs from fans at ringside and tear them up solidifying the heat
against him. Maximillian Redbeard comes out
and the fans pop for him. Redbeard
appears ready for this match.

Our next match is
ready to get underway. Leslie Grimes
makes her way out first but throws a warning look over at Pierre. She makes it to the ring and gets the fans
behind her until the music changes and out comes Luciana Albano. Luciana and Pierre make their wat to the ring
and the fans are not at all pleased.
There are fans holding signs that read “You hurt Violet” and “You hurt
Korbi”. She snatches one of them and
looks at the camera and says “Yes, Yes I did.”
She flings the sign back into the audience and enters the ring.

gets the win but her celebration is cut short with Ladies Champion Korbi Kong
rushes out and begins brawling with Luciana.
The fans pop huge for Korbi and she peppers Luciana with lefts and
rights. She sees the chair and grabs it
but so does Pierre. Korbi wins the tug
of war over the chair and BASHES Luciana with it. Korbi then chases Luciana to the back all the
while swinging the chair like a crazy woman.
Next up, The
Italian Thoroughbred Dominic Marconi gets his hands on one of the members of
the Albano family – Carlo Albano.
Pierre, who had fled to the stage, remains there and walks with Carlo
down to the ring. Once there, the music
changes and out comes Dominic Marconi – the Italian Thoroughbred.

gets the win over Carlo but Aldo runs out to try to interfere but Dominic grabs
a chair and holds them off. After Pierre
took Carlo and Aldo to the back, Dominic asked for a mic.
Dominic Marconi: Tonight is a night
of destiny, my friends. The Italian Thoroughbred is ready to chase his dreams,
and that TV title is within my grasp. But standing in my way is The Banker, a
man who thinks he can use that briefcase to buy success. Well, tonight, I'm
going to show him that there are some things money can't buy – like the heart
of a true competitor.
Just then, the Banker appears on
stage alongside his manager Ruth Heartless and the two walk down and enter the
ring.
The Banker: (mockingly) Dominic,
Dominic, Dominic. You really believe you can take this title away from me? I've
got news for you, my friend – dreams don't pay the bills, but money talks. And at
the PPV, I'll be sure to make that point crystal clear.
[Before Dominic can respond, The
Banker swings his briefcase, striking him across the back. Dominic winces in
pain, dropping to one knee. Ruth Heartless looks on with a sinister smile as
The Banker continues the assault.]
The Banker: (laughing) You thought
you could come in here, cut a promo, and just walk away unscathed? Not in my
world, Marconi. You're about to learn a harsh lesson.
[Ruth Heartless signals for The
Banker to stop momentarily, allowing her to speak.]
Ruth Heartless: Dominic, Dominic.
You're a fool for thinking you could challenge The Banker and emerge unharmed.
This is our domain, and you're just a pawn in our game.
[As Ruth finishes her statement, The
Banker delivers another brutal blow with the briefcase. Dominic struggles to
rise, but the relentless assault continues. The camera fades out as The Banker
and Ruth Heartless stand over the fallen Italian Thoroughbred, a message sent
to the entire locker room that challenges won't be taken lightly.]
Backstage, Apollo
Gyze runs into US Champion Jack Lumber.
Apollo says he deserves a title shot.
Jack disagrees but says that if he can beat him in a non-title match, he’ll
petition the board himself to get Apollo a shot. Apollo calls GM Max McGillicutty over and
demands Jack defend the title against him.
Jack finally agrees.
Match #4: Mr X
vs Jesse California
After getting
bumped from yesterday’s show, Mr. X is not in a good mood.
Once both men were
in the ring, the match was pretty evenly matched up. There were a lot of reversals and nullifying
of the opponent’s moves. At the 12 minute
mark, Mr. X went for a Sugar Cane Sleeper hold but Jesse nullified. Otis Peabody Cunningham (O.P.) comes out and
it looks like he wants to apologize to Mr. X.
Not exactly the best time to do this.
Mr. X begins berating O.P. and then turns around into a superkick from
Jesse. Jesse makes the cover and gets
the 1-2-3 at the 13th minute of the match. Otis, realizing that Mr. X was not going to
be happy, quickly made his way to the back.
After he recovered in the ring, Mr. X was furious and stormed to the
back.
In the back, OP
encounters the TV Champion the Banker.
The Banker says that OP looks down on his luck and offers him the chance
of a lifetime – a shot at the TV title. That
immediately lifted Otis’ spirits and he said he would go get ready for the
match. The Banker stood there and just
shook his head. “Doofus” he muttered.
Match #5: Jack
Lumber vs Apollo Gyze for the US Title
As the match was a
non-title match, Jack did not put on his best match however he still dominated
Apollo. The match ended up going 11
minutes and after a well-placed Elbow Smash between Apollo’s eyes, this one was
over. Jack Lumber gets the win and now,
he doesn’t have to worry about Apollo.
Apollo got up and started to complain but then, in from the crowd came
Biceps Bannerman. Biceps truly over
powered Apollo beating him from pillar to post.
He then locked Apollo in a bearhug and began to squeeze the life out of
the un-apologetic one. Biceps dropped
him right before he passed out. Biceps
gets on the mic and says that the match between him and Apollo will be an I
Quit Match and that once Apollo screams those two words, he promises that
Apollo will follow them up with two more:
I apologize. Biceps leaves the
ring and heads to the back. Apollo,
still complaining, follows shortly thereafter.
