Hello fans and welcome to another installment of the HCW Newsletter. Tonight, we present to you, live from Tacoma, WA, our House of Horrors PPV. All of the matches taking place tonight will have specialty rules in place; one primarily being there is no disqualification or count out. The match must be won by pin or submission. Lots of feuds taking place on the card today that include:

The show kicks off
with some pyro and the Omegagron lights up with a brief look into the feuds of
those participating in tonight’s show.
After that was done, GMs Max McGillicutty and ‘Sassy’ Maxine DeVito come
out on stage. Max tells Maxine that he
has some news to share about Maxine’s future but she asks to go first. He obliges.
Maxine states that she got word from the board of directors that ratings
have been up dramatically ever since she came on board and have been happy with
her work despite what Max or the fans feel.
The fans respond with a chorus of boos.
She looks perturbed at the interruption and says that the board is
granting her the FULL control as GM of HCW.
Max is shocked. “That’s
right. You’re out and I’m in.” She looks at the fans. “You all better shut your mouths when I’m
around because I’m going to be FULL time now.”
She looks back at Max. “Oh don’t
give me that hurt look. This business is
a dog-eat-dog world and we’ll do anything to maintain our spot.” A smile creeps up Max’s face. “Maxine, I saw this coming ever since I
brought you on. In fact, I knew this most
likely was going to happen. Fine, I may
be out as GM but I am still on the roster and effective immediately, I am now a
manager.” Maxine didn’t expect that. “And just who will you be managing?” she
demands. Max shakes his head. “Anyone I want and at anytime I want. See, this is going to be a play for
control. Starting tonight, you get to
show what you’ve got. You have until the
December Zero Hour PPV. At that time,”
(he pulls out a piece of paper also from the board of directors), “We battle
for absolute control of HCW. You will
pick someone to represent you; I pick someone to represent me. The winner becomes the sole GM but here is
the kicker…the loser is out of HCW completely.”
Maxine smiles that evil smile of hers.
“You gullible, gullible little man.
Done. You have a deal. In less than two months, HCW will be mine and
you will be gone forever.” Max takes a
couple of steps back. “Well, you have a
show to run so best get to it.” Max
leaves the stage. Maxine starts to laugh
an evil laugh as the sounds of thunder and lightning blare through the speakers
and lightning images flash on the Omegatron.
Maxine cackles “ULLLLLLTIME POWERRRRRRRR” before leaving the stage to
boos and a flurry of junk being thrown at her from the fans.
Wow! This writer never saw that coming. I guess our next two months are going to be
edge-of-your-seat action but first, we have a PPV to get through so let’s get
to it.
The show kicks off
with Dash Woodbrick making his way out first to a chorus of boos from the fans. He stops in front of one and flips that
person off using both hands. When the
fan responded in shock, Dash laughed and kept walking to the ring. He gets in the ring and continues to taunt
the fans until the music played and out comes Master Bull. Bull rushes down to the ring sliding under
the bottom rope as Dash jumps out the other side. He points to his head signifying he
outsmarted Bull but Bull kept going and went after Dash. Realizing his error, Dash ran around the ring
all the while being chased by Bull.
Dash gets into the ring first and as Bull entered, Dash put the boots to
him. The ref finally got both men hooked
up to the dog collar and chain and started this one off. Master Bull must have been playing possum as
he immediately got up taking the match to Dash.
8 minutes in, Bull lassoed Dash into the corner and then went for a pin
only for Dash to get his foot on the bottom rope right before the 3 count. Dash came back with tightening the collar
around Bull’s neck trying to choke him out but to no avail. A few minutes later, Bull flattens Dash with
a Roman Power Punch and goes for the pin but Dash kicks out. A few more minutes pass and Bull catches Dash
with the Cobra Clutch. He turns it into
another pin attempt but Dash kicks out again.
2 minutes later, Dash stuns Bull with a chain snap and then hurls Bull
over the top rope trying to hang him.
Bull struggles to get his feet on the ground to alleviate being choked
out. Dash pulls Bull back into the ring
and hits a piledriver on the chain. He
makes the cover and the ref counts 1…2…3.
Dash Woodbrick gets the win and the fans are NOT happy. Dash removes his collar and runs around the
ring celebrating. He starts to do some
“Hulk Hogan poses” all the while laughing at the fans. He takes the chain and drapes it over his
neck like a medal or some sort of trophy.
He makes his way to the back laughing all the way. Medics come out and
help Bull but he refuses and although he stumbled a few times, he makes it to
the back but with a very determined look on his face. (19 min)
We cut backstage
where Buzz Steel is with his brother Starbuck.
Buzz says that being on the shelf gave him time to think. He’s done thinking and now is ready to exact
revenge on Col. Flagg. Starbuck says
that his feud with Apollo ends tonight when he defeats Apollo.
Col. Samuel Flagg
comes out first to massive booing from the crowd. He treats the fans the same way they treat
him – with contempt. He enters the ring
continuing to mock the fans until Buzz’s music hits and out comes Buzz
Steel. Buzz resists the temptation to
rush to the ring (much to Flagg’s surprise) and takes his time showing
restraint. He enters the ring and the
bell rings immediately allowing Buzz to unload his arsenal. Right off the bat, the action spilled to the
outside of the ring and Flagg hit Buzz with a piledriver through the
timekeeper’s table. Flagg then grabbed
the timekeeper’s bell and blasted Buzz with it.
He went for a pin but Buzz kicked right out. Buzz tried to make a comeback but Flagg took
a beer from a fan at ringside and threw it into Buzz’s face blinding him. Once Buzz recovered, Flagg grabbed the ref
hurling him out of the ring. It took 5
minutes for the ref to recover. Flagg
set up another table and hit Buzz with a piledriver through this one. He looked for the ref but as he was
incapacitated, he continued his onslaught.
Just as the ref was recovering, Flagg threw another beer into Buzz’s face
blinding him again. As the action
continued, Flagg went on the other side of the ropes looking to climb the
turnbuckles but Buzz caught him with a superkick that sent Flagg to the
floor. At the 26 minute mark, Flagg
stomps on Buzz’s head with his boot but Buzz pops up quickly hitting the Buzzkill. He rolled Flagg up and grabbed a handful of
tights. The ref saw it but didn’t do
anything (Flagg took him out twice so why would he care) and counted to 3
awarding the match to Buzz Steel. Buzz
has his hand raised and Flagg was irate (he controlled the match the entire
time). Flagg grabbed a leather strap intending to use
it on Buzz but Buzz hits Flagg with the Buzz Cut instead and takes the leather
strap. He begin whipping Flagg with it
like a government mule until Flagg beat a hasty retreat to the back. Buzz gets the win and a measure of
revenge. He stays a few moments
interacting with the fans before heading to the back. (26 min for the match; 5 for the aftermath)
The Ambassador and
Dr. Red Fang are backstage. The
Ambassador states that Biceps Bannerman doesn’t realize what he got himself
into with Fang and that will be the biggest mistake of his career. Tonight, the ultimate hardcore champion takes
his rightful title back.
We cut to another
area backstage with Hardcore Champion Biceps Bannerman. Biceps states that Fang is not ultimate but
ulti-meat and he’s going to be the ground up well-done kind once he’s done with
him in the chamber of horrors.
Our next match is
ready to get underway. The ref begins
setting up tables, ladders and chairs for use in this match. “APOLLO GYZE DON’T APOLOGIZE” blares through
the loudspeakers and the annoying one comes out to boos from the fans. He flips them off and gets in the ring taking
one of the chairs and sitting down in it.
Starbuck Steel’s music plays and out comes the TV champion. Starbuck gets right into the ring so the
match can begin.

gets the win in a short 5 minute match.
He takes the title looking down at Apollo and then leaves. As he is making his way up the ramp, out
comes Maximillian Redbeard. Redbeard
looks at Starbuck as he walks down and tells the ref to start the match as he
is challenging for the AA title RIGHT NOW!
The bell rings and
Redbeard begins tossing Apollo around like a ragdoll. Redbeard sandwiches Apollo between two
ladders before taking a chair and battering Apollo (stuck between the ladders)
with the chair. Redbeard sets up a table
and grabs Apollo hoisting him up over his shoulder and then hits the Asgard
body slam through the table. Redbeard
makes the cover. 1…2…3. Maximillian Redbeard just defeated Apollo
Gyze to become the NEW ANYTIME/ANYWHERE CHAMPION. Medics come out and put Apollo on a stretcher
and take him to the back. Redbeard
celebrates briefly before heading to the back on his own. (2 min)
Backstage, the Tag
Team champions – Drew the Canadian Love Machine and Davis Hoffmeister state
they are ready for the Freedom Fighters.
Drew says that Lights Out means one of the competitors gets knocked
silly that they cannot continue.
Tonight, they show the Fighters what it means to tangle with the champs.
Our next match -
tag team turmoil – kicks off with the Freedom Fighters – Justice and Flash –
making their way down to the ring being booed all the way. They get in the ring but don’t have long to
wait as the Tag Team Champs come out to what seems to be the loudest pop of the
night. Drew and Davis come out and hold
the titles over their heads and walk to the ring shaking hands with the fans
along the way. They enter the ring and
each champ climbs a corner turnbuckle holding the title high. The belts are handed to the ref and he calls
for the bell to start this one. Davis
starts off with the Hollywood Clutch but Flash hits a spinning arm drag. Davis locks in the clutch a second time but
Flash hits a 630 Senton. Davis makes the
tag to Drew. Flash tags in Justice. Justice catches Drew with a back body drop
but Drew hits him with a powerbomb.
Flash tags back in. Flash hits
Drew with a reverse spike hurricanrana but Drew tags in Davis and they double
team Flash hitting a monkey flip and the La Casita. Drew takes Flash off his feet with a
handstand scissors and goes for the pin but only gets a 2 count. Davis is tagged back in. Flash goes for a running headscissors but
Davis reverses it and hits a clothesline.
He goes for a pin but only gets a 1 count as Justice interrupted the
count. Flash hits a spike hurricanrana
and begins to showboat. He hits Davis
with the Destino but Davis comes back hitting a piledriver in the middle of the
ring. Drew jumps in and hits Justice
with a shoulder block that sends him to the floor. Davis makes the cover and gets the
1-2-3. Davis and Drew are victorious in
their title defense. The fans pop huge
as the champs celebrate before heading to the back. (8 min)
Backstage, Violet
Valkyrie, Korbi Kong and Hayley Hailstorm all talk about being former Ladies
Champions. Korbi promises that whatever
happens, Catalina loses the belt tonight.
Hayley gives props to her opponents but reminds them that she was the
only one to earn her way here; Korbi and Violet were hand-picked to
participate. Violet reminds Hayley that
she had a shot at beating Catalina and failed.
Korbi reminded us that Hayley was here only because she was cashing in a
contract. Just then, Ladies Champion
Catalina Harper walks in and calls them all has-beens and guaran-damn-tees that
she is the one walking out with the belt intact. Each of the ladies walk off to prepare for their
match.
We head to the
ring where the Chamber of Horrors (modifications to a steel cage) is set
up. First, the loudspeakers scream
“VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYBODY” and out comes Dr, Red Fang accompanied by his
manager the Ambassador. The one
advantage for Biceps in this match is that the Ambassador will be a non-factor.
Fang enters the unforgiving structure.
The music changes and the fans pop as the Hardcore Champion Biceps
Bannerman comes out. Biceps makes his
way down to the ring and enters the structure.
It doesn’t take long for the bell to ring and kick off this match. Biceps was not prepared for the onslaught
that Fang brought in the first 3 minutes of the match.

out on a stretcher.
As the Chamber of
Horrors is dismantled to leave the steel cage visible, we head backstage to meet
up with some of men participating in the Elimination Chamber in our main event.
Texas
Wildfire: “It’s been a long journey but
finally, I’m back in the World title hunt.
It’s been a long time coming and finally it’s my time. I’m not taking anything away from any of the
competitors tonight but believe me when I say I’m ready.”
The Banker: “They tell me Ruth will be banned from
ringside. That is such a crock of ****
(the censors bleeped him out). This
chamber is an unforgiving structure and I’ll be unforgiving as I destroy
everyone tonight and take back the World Title.
Everyone has a price wether or not they think they do.”
The Masked
Banana: “Holy banana splits. I can’t believe I’m here. You know, Maxine still has it out for me (no
one knows why) but I plan to do what I have to in order to gain this belt. Lots of great talent I have to get past but
if I make it to the finals, you can bet your peels a new champion will be
crowned tonight.”
Back in the ring,
the steel cage is secured and we’re ready for our Fatal Four way. Catalina MUST get the win tonight or she
loses the title. The fans pop as Hayley
Hailstorm makes her way out first.
“Korbi Kong smash” plays through the loudspeakers and Korbi makes her
way out to a pop also. Finally, the stage
fills with fog and Violet comes out on a zipline and heads to the ring. She stops just inside the cage. She releases her harness and sits on top of
the cage getting a loud pop from the fans.
Her music is cut off when Ladies Champion Catalina Harper makes her way
out. Catalina walks to the ring slowly
and soaks in the boos from the fans. She
finally enters through the door but bypasses all her opponents to stand in the
middle of the ring and holds her title high.
She hands the belt to the ref and this one begins.

what I do…so is winning championships.
Tonight, I plant 5 trees in honor of the fallen once I win the title. I accept my fate and it’s been a great run
either way. I’m grateful that I have been able to crush so many opponents
because each one of them has helped me give back to the environment. I thank
each opponent going all the way back to The Axe for their contributions to
mother nature. I hope I can plant a few more by winning the Elimination
Chamber. I’ll see you in the ring.
Rad Gumbo: Dis Cajun has been away from da World Title
for too long. Even though management
doesn’t want one person holding multiple titles, I will be that guy once again. Dees boys won’t know what hit dem. Tonight, dis Cajun becomes world champion
again.
Scooter J: Everyone thinks that tonight, I lose this
title. Frankly, everyone thought Ladies
Champion Catalina Harper had the deck stacked against her but she came out ahead. Just like I will. All these losers felt the sting of losing the
World Title. I have not and don’t plan
to. I am not taking my eye off the
prize. I will retain.
Scooter J walks
off heading to the ring.
It’s time for our
Main Event. First, Texas Wildfire comes
out to a nice pop from the crowd. He
interacts with the fans before entering the structure (it was still being
lowered from the ceiling as he made his way out). He enters the chamber and is directed to one
of the corners. Next, “Hey Margarita”
played and out comes the Masked Banana.
He stopped by his fan club the Banana Boat and then made his way into
the chamber. Third to come out was the
Banker. He didn’t stop and just walked
down to the ring. “GUMBO 730 MEANS ITS
SUPPA TIME, BITCH” rings out and the US Champion, the Ragin Cajun Rad Gumbo
makes his way down. “TIMMMBBBERRRRR”
sounds next and out comes Jack Lumber.
The flannel wearing lumberjack stops by his fans in the Lumber Lounge
before he enters the chamber. Finally,
World Champion Scooter J comes out to massive booing from the crowd. He makes the slow walk to the ring enjoying
the fact he gets to make everyone wait.
Finally, he enters the chamber and it is secured. He hands the title to the ref but each of the
competitors put their hand on it hoping to have their arm raised as the victor
at the end of the night.
First to be
eliminated is World Champion Scooter J.
Jack Lumber hit him with the Axe to score the pin. This means that for sure, a new champion will
be crowned tonight.
Next to be
eliminated is the Masked Banana who fell to a hangman’s clothesline from Texas
Wildfire.
Third to be
eliminated is Texas Wildfire after he fell victim to a triple team and finally
an Atomic Drop from Jack Lumber.
Fourth to be
eliminated is the Banker who gets trapped and falls victim to the Onion Lock
(Muta Lock) when he submitted after Jack opted not to make the save.
We finally get to
the finals – Jack Lumber vs ‘the Ragin Cajun’ Rad Gumbo with the winner of the
match becoming the NEW World Champion.
This one went an astonishing 40 minutes.
Jack seemed to run out of steam but the pops he got from his fan club
kept him going. For the sake of saving

and US titles high. We know he won’t be
allowed to keep both but for the moment, he is a dual belt champion.
Just as the
chamber is being raised, music hits and out comes…HOLY COW…it’s the Wicked
Prophet! Prophet stands on the stage and
points at Gumbo. He then holds up the
Money in the Bank contract he has and motions he’s coming after that
title. Gumbo smiles. The show comes to an end with both men
staring at each other. Stay tuned. Fallout is expected.
