Hello fans and
welcome back to our HCW wrestling newsletter.
Tonight, we bring you our PPV Reigning Royalty live from Tacoma,
WA. On the card tonight, we will have
former tag team partners Madman Mason taking on Jack Lawson in a specialty
match to be determined. The Six Man
titles and the careers of the challengers are all on the line with the
champions Killa Pops, Maximillian Redbeard and Superquake Ferguson taking on El
Chango, Leon Teremoto and the King of Cones Magnum Kone. The world title will be on the line as
champion Wicked Prophet defends his title for the last time against Texas
Wildfire. An all person battle royal
will also take place with the winner getting a shot at the title of King of
HCW. Who will win it? Let’s go find out!
Pyro goes off and
our show begins. GM Max McGillicutty
comes out first and thanks the fans for attending and tells them they are
pulling out all the stops for tonight’s big show. He says that, for the first time, the battle
royal will feature both women and men and the winner gets a shot at the
crown. He then heads to the back so that
the show can begin.
Pyro goes off
again as the competitors for the battle royal fill up the stage. They all then make a dash to the ring and
being filling it up. Wrestlers remained on
the outside of the ring in teams or brawled with their enemies. Things to note: The Muscles Trio returned to the ring but
they were not in the best shape. They
did ok but were eventually eliminated.
Also, former Ladies Champion Sassy Maxine DeVito also participated
wearing her boot though she stayed outside the ring for the majority of the
match until she was brought in by Korbi Kong.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!
The World Champion the Wicked Prophet has won the battle royal. This guy is on fire. The fans boo him but he doesn’t care as he is
riding high.
Backstage, we meet
up with the challengers to the 6 Man titles – El Chango, Leon Teremoto and ‘the
King of Cones’ Magnum Kone. They say
that even though they did not make it through the battle royal, they are ready
to put it all on the line for the chance to win the belts. El Chango tells the champions to bring their best
as they will.
We head back to
the ring for our next match. First, Jack
Lawson comes out to a decent pop from the crowd. He gets in the ring and tries to get the fans
psyched up for this match. Next, Madman
Mason makes his way out and he is super serious. He gets in the ring and they start to go at
it but then stop when a casket is rolled down to the ring. It appears the rules for this match will be
“Buried Alive”. They got back at it when
the bell rings kicking this one into overdrive.
Mason hits a spinebuster slam but Lawson hits back with burial backdrop
and a chokeslam. After some more back
and forth, Jack runs Mason’s head into the steel post busting him open. Jack slams Mason into the casket and tries to
close the lid but Mason stops it. The
two take the action back into the ring and after a few minutes, Mason gets his
wind back and drops Lawson with a gravedigger DDT. The action continues and
Mason connects with the Psychotic Break.
He goes for a pin but Lawson kicks out at 2. Mason kept the pressure on and Jack would
shove him down but then motion for him to ‘bring it’. We join the match at the 17 minute mark.

The fans boo heavily
as Mason’s arm is raised in victory.
Mason jumps out of the ring and starts to push the casket (on its
gurney) up the ramp. He then turns it
horizontally on the stage. He stands to
one end and grabs the handles and starts to push and run hurling the casket off
the stage and sending it crashing to the floor.
He stands on the stage cackling and the fans’ booing intensifies. He soaks it in before heading to the back.
We meet up with
the 6 Man Tag Team Champions Killa Pops, Superquake Ferguson and Maximillian
Redbeard. The trio agree that their
challengers are no pushovers but neither are they. Pops adds “We may have our differences but we
respect them. But respect or no, these
titles are staying with us. Oh, and
Wicked Prophet, don’t forget…I’m still coming for you.”
In the back, we
meet up with ‘The Bounty Hunter’ Jake Montrose.
He says that he came to HCW to make money and he made a TON by
eliminating people from the tournament.
When questioned who his benefactor was, he would not say. “Let’s just say that there are people who
want to see HCW cleaned up and that is why I’m here. As long as the money still keeps coming, I’ll
keep kicking ass.” He walks off.
Also backstage is
his Royal Highness King Lucas Johnston.
Lucas says that Wicked Prophet has a lot on his plate tonight and after
taking on Texas Wildfire, there won’t be anything left in the tank and he will
continue to rule HCW.
We head back to
the ring for our next match. First,
music hits and out comes the challengers El Chango, Leon Teremoto and Magnum
Kone. The trio come out and Magnum does
his customary handing of the treats to the kids at ringside. Once done, they enter the ring and begin
pumping up the crowd. Next, the music
changes and out comes the 6 Man Tag Team Champions. They too are well-received by the fans and they
make their way down to the ring. They
enter and do their own contribution to getting the fans excited about this
match. All 6 men meet in the center of
the ring. The ref tells them that not
only are the titles on the line but so are the careers of the challengers. Tonight is make or break. He separates them sending them to their
respective corners and calls for the bell to start the match. The match was a lot closer than anyone
expected. There were so many near falls. Magnum almost got the win after hitting the
Popsicle on Killa Pops. Leon also almost
scored a near fall on Superquake Ferguson after locking in a headlock and
turning it into a pin attempt. Not to be
left out, El Chango also almost scored the win over Redbeard after hitting him
with the Diamond Dust. The champs also
had many attempts on their own but the challengers continued to make the
save. 19 minutes in, the champs triple
teamed Magnum Kone who still managed to fight them off. A minute later, the ref is sending Ferguson
and Redbeard out of the ring, Pops tries to lock Magnum up in the ropes but
Magnum pulls him by the hair to get him off.
Pops then hits the Pimp Drop out of nowhere. He makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3. The champions are victorious and retain their
titles. That means El Chango, Leon
Teremoto and Magnum Kone are all done with HCW.
The fans give both teams a standing ovation and El Chango is first on
the mic. “Thank you to the fans who have
supported us all this time. We do what
we do for you.” He then hands the mic to
Leon Teremoto. “Tacoma-ites and fans
around the world…Thank you for supporting us whether you cheered or booed. Your appreciation of our work will never be
forgotten.” He hands the mic to the King
of Cones. “It was a dream of mine to
become a professional wrestler and that dream became a reality. Lots of great feuds as well as tag team
partners (points to his in-ring teammates)…Thank you all.” The fans continued applauding. We then see Davis ‘The Hoff’ Hoffmeister
(former teammate to El Chango as the Stache in the Desperados). He shook hands with all 3 men and gave El
Chango a nice hug. Just then, GM Master
Bull came out. “Thank you to the three
of you. Your contributions to the legend
of HCW and before that HWF and CSWA will never be forgotten. The reason I’m out here is to announce the
first inductees of the 2020 Hall of Fame.
Magnum Kone, Leon Teremoto and El Chango are the first 3 for this
year. Congratulations!” The fans cheered again and they all
eventually made their way to the back.
Texas Wildfire is back
stage. He says he’s been given many
opportunities but tonight, if he fails to win the World Title, he will not
receive another match while Wicked Prophet is still the champion. “Tonight, I have to make this happen. No DQ, no count out. Prophet, you cannot run away to keep your
title; you cannot get yourself intentionally disqualified to keep your title. No time limit means you can’t hide. Tonight, I become the World Champion once
again.” He walks off to head to the
ring.
The Wicked Prophet
is also backstage and has his title slung over his shoulder. “Defending my title against someone I’ve
beaten so many times is a joke, I’m going to mock this with a little blast from
the past.”
“As you, Texas Wildfire, travel to REIGNING ROYALTY by conventional means, the normals you travel with experience malfunctions. As you realize ALL THAT IS LEFT is total self-destruction, do you, TEXAS WILDFIRE, show self-pity? DO YOU, TEXAS WILDFIRE, try to reason why? Do you, Texas Wildfire, try and comfort the normals that have even more fear than you? Or, do you, Hoke Hogan, err I mean Texas Wildfire, kick the doors out? Kick the cockpit door down? Take the two pilots that have already made the sacrifice so that you can face this challenge. Dispose of them, Wildfire. Assume the controls, Wildfire. SHOVE THAT CONTROL INTO A NOSE DIVE, TEXAS WILDFIRE! Push yourself to total self-destruction. AS YOU REALIZE, you are about to enter a world close to Parts Unknown. Ah, smell it my followers. DO YOU, Texas Wildfire, look for a place to hide? Or do you face that challenge? That may be more powerful THAN EVEN YOU ARE, TEXAS WILDFIRE! You must self-destruct. So that you will know, Texas Wildfire, who is… the chosen one. You are looking at that Chosen One.” Prophet walks off.
Our World Title
match is up next. First, the music plays and out comes Texas Wildfire to the
loudest pop of the night. He shakes hands
with the fans and walks to the ring. He
gets in and climbs each of the turnbuckles to louder and louder pops from the
crowd. He steps back down awaiting his
challenger. The music changes and out
comes the World Champion the Wicked Prophet.
He received the loudest boos of the night but he doesn’t let that phase
him. Prophet is carrying a small
briefcase with him. He makes it to the
ring and walks over to commentary. He
speaks to the ring attendant and hands him the briefcase. He then enters the ring bypassing his
challenger and climbs the turnbuckle holding the title over his head. He steps
down and gets right into Wildfire’s face and the two have words. The ref splits them apart and they get ready
for action.
Prophet is all
action tonight and proves it in the ring but much to his chagrin, Wildfire goes
toe to toe with him. Wildfire drops the
champ with a DDT and goes for the pin only for Prophet to kick out at 1. Wildfire follows it up with a Hangman’s
Clothesline. He goes for the pin again
but Prophet kicks out. Prophet battles
back with the crucifix clutch going for a submission but Wildfire makes it to
the ropes. After a brief stint on the
outside of the ring, Wildfire goes for some rapid fire punches but Prophet
reverses it and hits the Baptism of Fire.
He goes for the pin but they are too close to the ropes so the ref stops
the count. Prophet picks up Wildfire and
hits it again. He goes for the cover but
only gets a 2 count. At the 11 minute
mark, Prophet hits the SMITE and this time he goes for the cover but grabs a
handful of tights and gets the 1-2-3.
Wicked Prophet retains his title and the fans are livid. Wildfire rolls out of the ring while Prophet
gloats in the ring. He makes his way to
the back shaking hands with fans. This
was his last shot while Prophet is champ but as soon as that landscape changes,
he’ll be back in the hunt. (11 min)
The Wicked Prophet
remains in the ring. “One down…one to
go. Another town…another show. A successful title defense is now followed up
with a new coronation. Let’s get this
going!” He throws the mic out of the
ring. Next, Pomp and Circumstance plays
and out comes King Lucas Johnston on his thrown. He is carried to the ring and he does the
royal wave to the fans who don’t seem to care all that much. They arrive at the ring and he dismounts
entering through the ropes. He removes
his crown and cape and lays them in the corner.
He then walks over to Wicked Prophet and pie faces him. The fans are shocked at the brazenness of the
King. Prophet takes a step back and then
the bell rings starting this one off.
