Tonight, we are proud to bring you HCW’s House of Horrors PPV live from
Phoenix, AZ. The sold out crowd has been
waiting for hours to get in and everyone from the fans to the wrestlers are
anxious to get this party started.
Pyro
goes off and AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” begins to play through the speaker
system. Out comes our two general
managers Master Bull (Phoenix) and Max McGillicutty (Tacoma). They welcome the fans who attended live as
well as those tuning in on PPV. Max
says that a lot of feuds are expected to end but who knows what will rise from
those ashes. Bull says that he is
looking forward to being the referee in the match between Apollo Gyze and Tommy
Lightning and promises to call it right down the middle. Max says that tonight is the Duchess’ final
match in HCW and wishes her the best as she moves on. He also states that for one night only, the
Stache returns. The fans pop huge. Davis has to put the mask back on in order to
protect his face from further injury by Ivan Dragovich. The fans boo at the mention of Ivan’s name. Master Bull says that the two most hated men
in HCW will also square off and it will be interesting to see who comes out on
top between Dr. Red Fang and the Unknown Assassin. Bull says that the Banker will be in a
handicap match against his former team of the Regulators and it will be
interesting to see how that plays out.
Max speaks about the tension between Vanilla Zombie and Violet Valkyrie
and hopefully it comes to an end with one of them saying the words ‘I
Quit’. Max also points out that tonight
Scooter J returns to the ring to team up with TNT to take on Nix Anderson and
Hardcore Hensen. ‘The Singapore
Sensation’ Matt Preacher should hopefully be a non-factor with the 15’ high
cage providing a barrier. Bull finishes
off with the bad blood between brothers Leiton and Niven Snake and how it will
take a ‘First Blood’ rules match to bring this one to an end. They thank the fans once again and
leave. More pyro goes off and our show
is ready to go.
Our
first match begins with Niven Snake coming out to a mixed reaction from the
crowd. There has been some serious bad
blood between him and Leiton and it’s all come to a head here. Next, Leiton makes his way out to a similar
reaction from the crowd. As soon as
Leiton gets in the ring, the music plays again and Tobias Snake comes out. He makes one last attempt to get the brothers
to reconcile and raises his fist hoping for a fist bump but neither brother
acknowledges. He leaves the ring and
goes to sit at ringside. Leiton
immediately begins with a diving somersault neckbreaker. He goes for a Buckle Bomb but Niven nullifies
it. Leiton attempts a suicide dive to
the floor but Niven reverses it attempting a drive by apron dropkick but that
is also reversed and Leiton hits a pedigree facebuster. He goes for the pin but Niven kicks out at 2. Leiton is the first to draw blood but
bludgeoning Niven with a chair. The ref
goes to call the match but Niven demands it continue. He drops Leiton with a leaping
clothesline. Leiton hits a sling blade
but Niven hits a deadlift powerbomb.
Niven follows it up with another leaping clothesline. Leiton hits another pedigree facebuster and
goes for the pin but only gets a one count as Niven gets his foot on the bottom
rope. Leiton hurls Niven into the corner
and Niven hits a deadlift powerbomb.
Leiton hurls Niven into the corner and Niven send him to the outside
with a drive by dropkick. Niven goes to
the outside and pushes Tobias off his steel chair and slides it into the
ring. Leiton is back in and Niven
attempts a deadlift powerbomb but Leiton shrugs it off and hits a pedigree
facebuster right on the chair. Leiton goes
for the pin and gets the 1-2-3. Leiton
Snake gets the win. He tries for a fist
bump with Tobias but Tobias shakes his head ‘no’ and walks away. Leiton gets a small pop from the crowd and
leave as Niven is tended to and helped to the back. (10 min)
The
Wicked Prophet is backstage with the Duchess and she says that even though she
had a good run in HCW, she will do better where she is more appreciated
(alluding to her jumping to Cushman Armitage’s new federation). She says that the quality of the women’s
roster drops significantly after tonight and leaves.
Our
next match is ready to go (after the blood was cleaned up, of course). The Regulators make their way out to a small
pop from the crowd and immediately begin gathering tables, ladders and chairs
to use for their match. The Banker comes
out next with Ruth Heartless and he makes his way down to the ring. He is dressed in riot gear. The
Banker enters the ring drawing the attention of his former teammates. While that was going on, Ruth took down the
ladder and hid most of the chairs under the ring so that they would not get
used. Mammoth begins by trying to ram
the Banker into the turnbuckle but he nullifies it. Mule comes in and hits a Regulator
smash. He tags Mammoth back in. Mammoth
rams the Banker into the turnbuckle. The
Banker connects with the foreclosure frankensteiner and Mammoth tags out. Mule takes the Banker to the outside and
powerbombs him through the table. He
then rolls him back into the ring and starts to look for the chairs and ladders
which seem to have disappeared. He
slides back in only for the Banker to hit the Repossession rib buster. He is slow to make the cover and only gets a
1 count. Mule drops the Banker with a
DDT and goes for a pin but the Banker kicks out. Mule hits an inverted suplex but the Banker
locks in the ATM fee armbar. Mule makes
it to the ropes and tags in Mammoth.
Mammoth comes charging in only to get locked up with the ATM fee
armbar. He tries but he can’t make it to
the ropes so he has no choice but to tap out.
The Banker gets the win via submission and he immediately leaves so that
the Regulators can’t attack him further.
He points to his head showing he outsmarted them. Ruth helps him to the back. (8 min)
The
Wicked Prophet is with Scarlett Phoenix.
Scarlett says that the Duchess will finally get the attention she wants
and says that no one will miss her once she’s gone. Scarlett says that the Duchess was mistaken
in her comment earlier and that the Ladies division will actually improve once
she’s gone.
We
head back to the ring for our next match.
First, the Duchess makes her way out to booing from the fans. Scarlett makes her out as soon as the Duchess
entered the ring not allowing her any time for her pomp and circumstance. Jawjacking ensues and the bell rings starting
this one off.

Phoenix gets the win and the fans pop huge for her. The Duchess rolls out of the ring and heads
to the back. The fans begin a “na na na
na…na na na na…hey, hey hey, goodbye” chant and the Duchess scowls at the
‘ungrateful’ fans and heads to the back for the final time.
The
Wicked Prophet is backstage first with Apollo Gyze.
WP: Apollo, tonight, your future with Phoenix
Heat is on the line. Now, GM Master Bull
has said that all it will take for that stipulation to go away is for you to
apologize to the HCW roster and fans.
AG: Apollo Gyze don’t apologize. Master Bull wants to stack the cards against
me? I’ll prove him wrong. The fans don’t believe I can win. I will prove them wrong. And THEN, you’ll all be apologizing to me.
Apollo
walks off.
WP: Well, that was short and succinct. Back to you at ringside.
We’re
back for our next match. This one will
have ramifications where the loser must leave Phoenix. First, we hear blaring over the loudspeakers
“Apollo Gyze don’t apologize” and out comes Apollo. The fans boo him as he makes his way down to
the ring. Next, Master Bull comes out
dressed up as a referee. The fans pop as he heads down to the ring. Apollo is pacing and Bull tells him to just
stand in his corner. The music changes
again and out comes Tommy Lightning. The
fans pop as Tommy comes out and high fives the fans as he makes his way to the
ring. Tommy starts off with an elbow
smash and Apollo hit an enzuiguri. Tommy
hits an underhook suplex and Apollo hits a delayed vertical suplex. Apollo grabs a chair and whacks Tommy with it
sending him out of the ring. Apollo sets
the chair up and sits down telling Master Bull to make the count. Bull, as slowly as he could, counts to 10 but
Tommy didn’t get back in. Apollo stands
up declaring himself the winner. Master
Bull said that this has been changed and is now an anything goes match. Apollo was furious. Master Bull restarts the match once he
determined that Tommy was ok to go. The
two then fought tooth and nail for a solid 15 minutes until Apollo rammed Tommy
into the steel post knocking him out.
Apollo told Master Bull to count him down and he once again counted to
10 and Tommy didn’t make it to his feet.
Apollo jumps up again and says that he’s the winner but Master Bull,
getting really frustrated now, tells Apollo that he doesn’t seem to care about
who he injures or whatever. Apollo tells
Bull to declare him the winner. Master
Bull refuses. Bull says he’s giving
Tommy one final chance making this a “winner takes all” stipulation. Tommy was really in no shape to continue and
Master Bull, if he really cared about Tommy’s welfare, would have stopped
this. It was no contest. Apollo just dominated Tommy and after putting
him through a table at ringside, he would bodyslam him on the exposed concrete
floor before rolling him back in. Apollo
was all smug. He threw Tommy into the
ropes and hit a perfectly executed dropkick.
He went for the cover and Master Bull was forced to make a 3 count. Apollo then got up and purposefully bumped
Master Bull. Bull said that he’s had
it. Apollo either apologizes right here
and now or he’s gone from Phoenix.
Apollo refused so Master Bull said that he was no longer on the Phoenix
roster and he can pack his bags and leave at any time. Apollo heads to the back to the booing from
the fans. The match ends up being a loss
for Apollo in the record books as there was no way in hell that Bull was
awarding him the win. (total match time
38 minutes)
We
are half the way through our PPV and the action continues. We had backstage for an interview.
WP: The Wicked Prophet here and true to my word,
I call it like I see it. With me next is
the man with two identities…Welcome Davis or should I call you the Stache?
Stache: For tonight and one night only, the Stache is
back. Ivan did his best to mess with my
face and the only real way to make sure the protective gear stays on is with
the old mask.
WP: Then why risk it? Medical hasn’t given you clearance so all of
this is on you if it goes south.
Stache:
You’re right. But after weeks of abuse,
the time is now for me to strike. Ivan
will rue the day he jumped on this bronco.
Ivan, your time is up.
We
head back to the ring. The stage begins
to fill with smoke and like a rocket, Violet Valkyrie comes shooting out on a
zip line and ends up above the ring. She
then repels down to the ring and the fans pop huge for her. She climbs all four corner posts and the fans
pop louder each time. Her pop is
interrupted when Vanilla Zombie comes out.
The fans boo her but she doesn’t care. She heads down to the ring and enters it. She walks up to Violet and cocks her head
looking at her. Violet then begins to
unload on her.

gets the win and the fans are ecstatic.
The pop is so huge and she embraces it.
She doesn’t see Vanilla come up from behind and blast her with a steel
chair. She then drags Violet to the
outside of the ring. She stands on the
outside of the ring and pulls Violet up with her. She picks Violet up and leaps planting Violet
with the Soul Crusher right through the announce table. The table collapses under the impact. Vanilla gets up and begins to cackle. Medics come out to check on Violet. She is loaded up on a stretcher and taken to
the back. Vanilla laughs and heads to
the back.
The
Wicked Prophet is backstage with the Unknown Assassin and his manager the
‘Honorable’ JC Dykes. Dykes grabs the
mic from Prophet and begins to insult the fans for being the sheep of HCW. He then goes on comparing manager Ant Graham
to something out of the book of the dead.
He then says that Dr. Red Fang is the most boring, uninteresting bot to
ever lace up a pair of boots. Dykes says
that the Unknown Assassin will embarrass the Doctor and will send him scurrying
away like a whimpering wombat. Dykes and
UA walk off.
We
head back to the ring for our next match.
First, Ivan Dragovich comes out wearing his Russian chain. He yells at the fans who are mocking
him. He gets into the ring and begins
swinging the chain around the ring. The
theme from Bonanza plays and out comes the Stache. The fans pop is so loud we can’t even hear
ourselves think. The Stache stays on the
stage for a moment soaking in the adulation from the fans. He makes his way down to the ring and the
fans cheer. We haven’t seen the Stache
in almost a year and a half. The fans
remember him as if it was yesterday. He
enters the ring and climbs the turnbuckle to an even louder pop from the
crowd. The Stache cuts his pop short and
goes face to face with Ivan. Ivan yells
at him “I’m going to break you” and the Stache just smiles. Both men get the Russian chain attached and
Ivan immediately attacks him.

One more shot and the Stache stands tall pointing a finger at Ivan (ala
Hulk Hogan).

kicks Ivan in the gut and executes a THE TOMBSTONE (PILEDRIVER). Ivan is out cold.

The
Stache wins with a THE TOMBSTONE (PILEDRIVER) over Ivan Dragovich!!!
Davis
gets the win and the fans pop HUGE for him.
The ref first unhooks the Stache from the chain but he holds onto
it. The Stache then wraps the chain
around his fist and the fans know what is coming next and they cheer. The Stache grabs Ivan and smacks him with the
fist shots and the fans count with each blast.
Stache drops the bloody chain and then removes his mask revealing Davis
‘the Hoff’ Hoffmeister. Davis removes
his facial protection and drops it on the floor. He goes to a kid at ringside and gives him the
Stache mask once more putting that personae to rest. Davis walks up the ramp as the fans cheer him
on. He then disappears behind the
curtain.
The
Wicked Prophet is once again backstage with Scooter J and TNT. WP walks with them as Scooter J and TNT
prepare for their match. Scooter J says
he’s trained and is ready for this match.
He’s back to being healthy and will give Hensen and Anderson a pain they’ve
never faced before. TNT says that Hensen
and Nix will rue the day they pissed Scooter J off. TNT and SJ left. The Wicked Prophet ends up walking by a
pissed off (and hungry it seems) Apollo Gyze.

We
go back to the ring for our next match.
The music hits and out comes manager JC Dykes and the Unknown
Assassin. The duo are booed as they head
to the ring. They’re not there for very
long before we hear the all-annoying “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE” blast over
the speaker system and out comes manager Ant Graham and Dr. Red Fang. The boos for the evil vampire bot are on par
to what the Unknown Assassin got so we’re not sure who is hated more. Fang gets into the ring but before the match can
begin, Ant Graham and JC Dykes are ejected from ringside and sent to the
back. This one is between the two (ok,
maybe one man and one vampire bot). The
ref hooks up the dog collars to both men and then calls for the bell to start
this one off.

Red Fang gets the win and defeats the Unknown Assassin in this match. Fang howls and screams as his arm is raised
in victory. Fang then wraps the chain
around the Unknown Assassin’s neck and then hurls him over the top rope. The Unknown Assassin hangs there as the life
is choked out of him. All of a sudden,
music hits and out comes…Leon Teremoto!
He rushes down to the ring and slides under the bottom rope. He immediately hits Dr. Red Fang with a
flying dropkick and makes him drop the Unknown Assassin to the floor. Fang turns and snarls at Leon who stands tall
in the ring beckoning for Fang to come into the ring. Fang looks around and ends up walking backwards
up the ramp and to the back. Just before
going behind the curtain, he raises both arms and once again screams “VAMPIRE
LUNGES…(he pauses and looks Leon dead in the eyes) FOR YOU”. He then disappears behind the curtain. Leon high fives the fans before heading to the
back.

Wicked Prophet is backstage with Nix Anderson and Hardcore Hensen.
WP: Nix Anderson and Hardcore Hensen, you may
have bit off more than you can chew in taking on Scooter J and TNT.
HH: How about you shut your trap and just hold
the mic.
NA: If you really think we’re sweating those two
nobodies, you are sadly mistaken. I am the TV champ and my good friend here
Hardcore Hensen is the Hardcore Champion.
We have nothing to worry about.
These two crybabies got what they wanted…us in a steel cage.
HH: Nowhere to run; nowhere to hide. Tonight is all about us beating the living
hell out of you two and then tucking your tails between your legs. You wanted pain; you got it.

and Anderson walk off. The Wicket

It’s
time for our main event. The cage is
finally assembled and music hits bringing out ‘the Singapore Sensation’ Matt
Preacher as he leads out Nix Anderson, Hardcore Hensen AND the International
Champion of France Jacques Beannot. This
may not look good with the extra muscle on the outside of the ring. Nix and Hensen enter the cage. The music changes and out comes Scooter
J. The fans pop for him as he stands on the
stage. He then points to the back and
out comes TNT. The fans pop again. The duo shake hands and run down to the
ring. Hensen holds the door closed
preventing their opponents from entering the ring but SJ and TNT scale the cage
instead. SJ threatens to leap from the
top of the cage but then climbs down instead. The ref then sends Preacher and Jacques to the back.
