Hello fans and
welcome to Phoenix, AZ for our first PPV of the year – Reigning Royalty. On today’s show, in addition to two battle
royals, we will have the tag team titles defended and in the main event, King
Wilber Townsend defends his crown.
Wilber has to be on top of his game if he wants any chance of retaining
his crown. Pyro goes off and this one is
off to the races.

GM’s Master Bull
and Max McGillicutty come out on stage and the crowd pops huge for them. Max thanks everyone who’s attending here live
as well as all those watching on PPV.
Master Bull says that he has an announcement and that today also so
happens to be the birthday of co-owner Mr. Meyers. The lights shine up to the box suites and Mr.
Meyers steps out and salutes the crowd.
Bull and Max get the crowd to sing him ‘Happy Birthday’ and then Mr.
Meyers waves to the crowd before retreating back in to his suite. Max says that this is the time of year when
action begins to shape the path of the new year and he says they are off to a
roaring start. Bull adds that they are
excited to get this one going but he says that he’s secretly pulling for his
boy Reid Rothchild and his brother Roderick to retain tonight. For now though, the best of the best will
rise to the top and they will be who leads the HCW into the future. They thank the fans again and then depart the
stage. Pyro goes off once again and it’s
time to kick this into high gear.

Everything kicks
off with King Wilber Townsend making his way down to the ring first and he goes
to sit at commentary to get a good look at the action. The camera pans to the rafters and we see, up
in his perch, Crow Phat Sol. He’s still
watching over all the action.
The wrestlers
begin to file down one by one and after everyone made their way down to the
double ring, the action began.

'Red Hot' Lucas Johnston wins the Reigning Royalty Men's Battle Royal!!! Lucas gets a pop from the crowd and then
leaves. As he gets to the top of the
ramp, "The Ragin Cajun" Rad
Gumbo, who’d been lying in wait, attacked him and then hit him with a voodoo
driver on the stage. Gumbo left in a
huff.
There is no time to waste as Ant
Graham leads two of his ghouls – Dr. Red Fang (who’s screaming “VAMPIRE LUNGES
FOR EVERYONE” and Wolfman Keg down to the ring.
Graham keeps pointing at his head like he’s got something planned. Next, the Ambassador comes out and leads the
Tag Team Champions Elitism (Reid and Roderick Rothchild) down to the ring. The Elitist and the Rowdy One get the crowd
pumped for this match. They get down to
the ring, pose briefly with their titles and then hand them to the ref. This was nothing short of annihilation…by the
champs. Reid and Roderick took Graham
out almost immediately and then beat the holy hell out of the ghouls. After watching this train wreck for 10 ½
minutes, Reid is tagged in and he hits the Reid-a-rooni on Wolfman Keg and gets
the 3 count. Elitism win in dominating
fashion (107 to 27). They take their
titles back, pose with the Ambassador and then leave. Wolfman Keg, Fang and Graham all limped to
the back. (11 min)
It’s now time for
our Ladies Battle Royal to determine the new Queen of HCW. One by one, the women came down to the ring
and it included both the current Ladies Champion the Duchess as well as the
former champion Taylor Bella. 16 of the
women made it down to the ring and we thought we were missing someone until
music hit and a very pissed off Ravishing Raquel came out and rushed to the
ring. It was a slobberknocker.

a procession and they drape a cape around her shoulders, place the crown on her

Everyone eventually
departs as we get ready for our Main event.
First, music plays but instead of Lucas coming out, the music abruptly
stops and we hear “Gumbo 7:30 says it’s suppa time bitch!” and out comes the
Ragin Cajun Rad Gumbo. Gumbo begins to
make his way down to the ring but he is interrupted by GM Master Bull. Bull tells him that he is not the legal man
and Lucas is the rightful heir to this match.
Gumbo calls Bull “a crock of shit” and tells him to watch the
playback. It runs and we do see Lucas’
foot barely scrape the floor. Gumbo says
that this is HIS match and heads into the ring.
Bull is then joined by GM Max McGillicutty who whispers something to
him. Bull then says that the match will happen but now, it will be a TRIPLE
THREAT match for the crown. ‘Red Hot’
Lucas Johnston comes out and he makes a beeline for the ring. Gumbo bails.
As the two bicker, music plays and out comes King Wilber Townsend on his
throne. He is carried down to the ring
and he does the mock wave as he proceeds to the ring. Finally, he enters the ring to pomp and
circumstance but the fans boo him. He
removes his crown and robe and hands them, along with his scepter, to the
lackey at ringside. All three men are
now in the ring and this one begins.
Gumbo leaves the ring early and this one goes back to being one on
one. It actually only goes 6 minutes
and after Wilber hit Lucas with the Go to Sleep, it was all she wrote after the
ref’s hand hit the mat for the 3rd time (and Rad held Lucas’ leg
down so he couldn’t kick out). Wilber
gets the win however Rad gets into the ring and says that he was purposely left
out of the match so he demands a shot against Wilber here and now. Wilber laughs maniacally and says “Why
Not…why not have another victim”. It
looks like we have a second defense of the crown.

the one to crown his lordship. MJ drapes
the cape on Rad’s shoulders and places the crown on his head. Rad sits in his throne and holds his scepter
high as the show comes to an end.
