HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 11.7 – The New York Tour

Hello fans.  In this issue, we will recap the New York tour that took place this week.  The tour began in Brooklyn, then went to Albany and finished up in Buffalo.  Here are those results.

Brooklyn Show
The show actually began with Ravishing Raquel (the new Mrs. Reid Rothchild) calling out Gail Kim wanting her rematch.  Instead, out came Master Bull.  “I want my rematch and I want it now” exclaimed Raquel.  “Simmer down now, simmer down” Master Bull replied. “You’ll get your match but the card today is full.  I’ve got your match set up to take place in Buffalo later this week.”

·         R Truth vs Sin Cara:  Sin Cara gets the win in 17 minutes after nailing a springboard plancha.
·         European Title match: Magnus vs Jack Swagger:  In 60 seconds, Magnus gets the win after Swagger tapped out to the sharpshooter.
·         North American title match: El Chango w/Handsome G vs Bran-Don-Goh.  The champ retains after hitting Bran-Don-Goh with the Diamond dust.
·         Kazarian vs Ken Anderson: In 12 minutes, after getting his butt kicked, Mr Anderson executed a Finley roll and with a pull of the tights, got the 1-2-3.  After the match, Kazarian dropped Anderson with a slingshot DDT.
·         Mike Bennett vs Santino Marella: In 11 minutes, Santino secures a win after Bennett got counted out.
·         Casey Jones vs Abdullah the Butcher in a Brooklyn Street Fight.  In a bloody 27 minute battle, Casey was ahead until Mick Foley came out.  Together they nailed a piledriver through a table and then Abdullah got the win.  After the match, Casey who miraculously recovered, chased both men off with a barbwire bat.  Master Bull said Abdullah and Casey would meet again in an Albany Cane match.
·         The HWF World title was on the line between Rey Mysterio and Jeff Hardy.  In 19 minutes, Mysterio retained after pinning Hardy with a flying body press.

Albany Show
This show actually began with the New Women’s champion Gail Kim coming out and celebrating with the fans.  After a minute, Ravishing Raquel came out and attacked the Women’s champ.  Raquel planted Gail on her head with a well-placed DDT.  Raquel picked up the title and posed before dropping it on the prone champ.
·         Roderick Strong vs Kofi Kingston:  In 17 minutes, Strong gets the win after he got Kofi to tap out to a Boston (or for this show, he called it the Albany) Crab.
·         Dolph Ziggler vs Mark Henry: In 21 minutes, Ziggler gets the win after Dolph nailed Henry with the Zig Zag on the floor and Henry got counted out.
·         US title match: AJ Styles vs Daniel Bryan:  In 23 minutes, Daniel Bryan connects with a double underhook suplex and makes the cover for the 1-2-3.  Daniel Bryan is the NEW US Champion.  AJ Styles will get a rematch in the Midwest tour.
·         Internet Media title match: Dean Ambrose vs Sheamus:  This match went to a 30 minute time limit draw but Sheamus clearly had the advantage.  In fact, in the last few seconds, Sheamus nailed a Brogue Kick but Roman Reigns ran down and put Ambrose’s foot on the ropes just as the bell rang.
·         Tag team title match: Big Show & Kane vs Alberto Del Rio and Austin Aries:  Two members of the A-team got a title shot against the champs.  In 15 minutes, Del Rio nails a falling powerbomb on Kane and makes the cover and secures the win.  Aries and Del Rio are the NEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS.   The former champs will get a rematch next week.
·         CSWA World title match: John Cena vs Samoa Joe:  In 2 minutes, John Cena retains the title after delivering an F-U to the Samoan.
·         Casey Jones vs Abdullah in an Albany Cane match:  Casey came back and was on fire taking it to the Butcher.  Mick Foley came back down again and distracted Casey.  Abdullah hit Casey with his foreign object and as he made the cover, Mick held Casey’s foot down allowing Abdullah to get a second win.  This prompted Master Bull to come out and make a third match between these two.  Mick Foley and all of his alter egos are banned from the building.  Casey and Abdullah will meet one last time in a “Loser goes over the falls” match (heck, we’ll be just outside of Niagara Falls).  The loser will go over the falls in a barrel and “washed out” of the HWF and CSWA.

Buffalo show
·         Hernandez vs Matt Hardy:  In 14 minutes, Hernandez gets the win after hitting an overhead choke suplex.
·         Chavo Guerrero jr vs  Big E Langston:  In 1 minute, Big E gets Chavo in a bearhug and Chavo submits.
·         Tensai vs Evan Bourne – loser must retire:  Evan Bourne had not been around much at all this entire year.  Apparently, he was sitting at home collecting a paycheck.  Master Bull caught on and made this match.  In 16 minutes, Tensai hits a running senton splash and pins his opponent.  Evan Bourne is now out of the CSWA and HWF.
·         IC title match: Jay Lethal vs Brodus Clay:
·         Casey Jones vs Abdullah the butcher in a loser goes over the falls (falls count anywhere) match:  Casey put it all on the line for this one as his career could easily come to an end here and now.  This one went a grueling 29 minutes and after Casey put Abdullah through a table, he executed a vicious eye rake (to blind him I guess) and made the cover for the 1-2-3.  He then took Abbie outside, put him in the (oversized) barrel waiting and then dumped him in the river.  The barrel floated downstream and then went over the falls.  Abdullah is done and Casey is now prepared for Mick Foley.  2 down, one to go.
·         6 man Tag Team title match: Samoa Joe and the Uso’s vs Prestige Inc:  This one was set up with a 60 minute time limit.  During the match, both Reid and Magnus get injured leaving his royalness King Damian Sandow on his own.  Sandow was not able to hold off the 3 Samoans on his own and ended up falling victim to a Polynesian Death Leap from Jimmy Uso.  Joe and the Uso’s retain the 6 man titles.  I would not be surprised though to see them get a rematch.
·         The main event of the evening is a rematch for the Women’s Title with new champion Gail Kim taking on Ravishing Raquel.  The match goes 11 minutes and at the end, Raquel went to the top rope trying to execute something and Gail caught her with an armdrag from the top rope.  Gail makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Gail Kim is still the Women’s Champion.

That is all for now.  Thanks for reading. Stay tuned as we hit the Midwest next.  Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 11.6 – The California Tour

Hello fans.  Welcome back.  When we last reported on the upcoming tours, we forgot about the Illinois one.  Luckily, things changed and was modified into the Midwest tour.  The cities hosting events will be Milwaukee, WI, Chicago, IL, and Indianapolis, IN.  One other bit of news is that Zema Ion has agreed to put his career on the line against Magnus for the European title.

First, the results from the San Diego show from this past Monday.

In our first match of the night, Zema Ion put his career on the line against Magnus for the European title.  The match goes 20 minutes.  During the match, King Damian Sandow came down and while Ion was on the outside of the ring, he rammed Ion’s back into the steel ring post.  He then tossed the challenger back into the ring.  Magnus locked in a sharpshooter and Zema tapped out.  Magnus retains the title and Zema Ion is now out.

Next on the card has Mike “the Axe” Medley taking on AJ Styles for the US title.  This one only went 10 minutes and after the ass-kicking Medley took, AJ finally finished him off with a reverse STF.

The third match has 6 Man tag team champions Samoa Joe and the Uso’s taking on the Shield in a non-title match.  The match goes 23 minutes and even though Seth Rollins got injured at the beginning of the match, the Shield took the fight to the champs.  Unfortunately, Dean Ambrose got himself trapped by Samoa Joe’s rear naked choke hold.  The Internet Media champion ended up tapping out giving the win to the champs.

The fourth match is another non-title match with champs Big Show and Kane taking on Negronomicon and Marshall William Pearl.  Negronomicon claims that Cowboy Shizzle is still hurt so he’s “filling in”.  This match, of course, was just Master Bull getting even with Negronomicon.  The champs beat the snot out of the challengers and the end came after Big Show locked Negronomicon in a bearhug.  He ended up passing out so Show dropped him and made the pin.  After the match, Donnie B came down and removed Negronomicon’s mask but he left it in the ring.  He then left without doing anything else.  Negronomicon had on face paint underneath his mask.

Match #5 has the team of Robbie E and Rob Terry taking on the Colons.  The two teams were even the entire match.  The match was called a draw after the 30 minute time limit was reached.  Neither team moves up in the rankings.

Our second to last match has Jay Lethal defending the IC title against Professor Cobra.  This one goes 21 minutes and after getting his butt kicked all that time, Cobra ends up getting counted out after landing hard on the floor.

Our main event of the night has the Mighty Casey taking on Lance Storm in a Canadian Bull Rope Match.  Both men were pretty evenly matched up.  Both got in some amazing shots.  There was a point where Lance and Casey were doing a tug-of-war with the bullrope and Casey let go and Lance clocked himself in the head practically knocking himself out.  Casey then went to the top rope and delivered a flying elbow drop.  He made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  After the match, Abdullah and Mick Foley came down and tried to attack Casey but he got away.  Master Bull then said that Casey and Storm would have another battle but this time, it would be within a steel cage.

On Wednesday, we traveled to Los Angeles and here are the results of that show:

·         Christian defeated Bobby Roode in 12 minutes
·         Sheamus and Wade Barrett wrestled to a 30 minute draw
·         Super Warrior got a countout win over Randy Orton in 2 minutes after Orton, who felt this match had been pathetic all along, walked out.
·         In their next redemption match, Casey Jones got the win over Lance Storm in the steel cage match after Casey made it out of the cage before Storm.  After the match, Storm pulled out miscellaneous items and began smashing Case with them.  Master Bull came out and said that if Storm wanted hardcore, their next match would be an ECW rules match.
·         Dean Ambrose successfully defended his Internet Media title by defeating King Mo.
·         In 12 minutes, Gail Kim defeats Ravishing Raquel to become the NEW Women’s Champion.  Master Bull holds off the rematch saying it will take place next week on the New York Tour.
·         In the main event, Rey Mysterio retains the HWF World title after defeating Big E Langson in a 25 minute battle.

The third and final California show took place in San Francisco.  Here are those results:

·         Cowboy Shizzle, being forced to work “hurt” defeated Bran-Don-Goh by countout in 4 minutes after B walked out of the match.  Afterwards, Donnie B hit the ring and he and the Cowboy fought briefly until the “shirts” came out and separated them.
·         El Chango barely retained the North American title after Dean Ambrose got counted out.  Chango was getting killed in the ring but a toss over the top rope and Ambrose landing wrong kept his title run alive.
·         Prestige Inc took on 3MB with the winners getting a title shot at the 6 Man tag titles.  In 31 minutes (and a close match) Magnus gets the pin over Heath Slater after delivering a Samoan Drop.  Prestige Inc are now in line for a title match.
·         Kurt Angle vs Ryback:  Angle gets the win via submission in 15 minutes after Ryback tapped out to the ankle lock.
·         The Miz retains the X-Division title after pinning Joseph Park with the Skull Crushing Finale.  After the match, Park saw he was bleeding and totally freaked out.  He nailed Miz with a Black Hole Slam.  Master Bull announced Miz’s next opponent as Abyss.
·         Casey Jones took on Lance Storm in an ECW rules match.  Master Bull stated that Storm lost 2 so far.  If he were to lose this one, he’d never be allowed back in an HWF or CSWA event again.  The match went on for 13 minutes and was about as one sided as it could get.  Storm was getting decimated.  At one point, El Chango came out and assisted with a beat down on Storm.  Casey then finished him off with a Strikeout Headbutt.  Lance Storm is out for good.  After the match, Abdullah came down and he beat Casey down and busted him open.  Master Bull said that Abdullah and Casey would settle this in New York.
·         In the main event, John Cena defended the World title against Brad Maddox.  In 9 minutes, John Cena gets the win after hitting the F-U.

That’s all for now.  Next week, we will have the results from New York.  Stay tuned.
