HCW
SHOCKWAVE – Greenville, SC – Ben Scours Performance Arena
Pyro
cracks across the stage. The Shockwave logo pulses on the big screen. The crowd
is loud, energetic, and ready as the camera sweeps the arena before cutting to
the commentary desk.
J.R.
Holland:
“Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW
Wrestling Newsletter. We are live in Greenville, South Carolina, inside the Ben
Scours Performance Arena for Shockwave — and this is our second
episode.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And you can feel it already, J.R. This crowd knows something big is in the air
tonight. Titles on the line, new faces, and a main event that could shake the
foundation of HCW.”
J.R.
Holland:
“But before we get to any of that, there’s one shadow that’s been hanging over
this entire company.”
The lights
subtly dim in the arena feed.
J.R.
Holland:
“Count Vlad has returned.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And from what we’ve been told, he didn’t come back to make appearances. He
came back with answers.”
J.R.
Holland:
“Answers he’s about to share… with the Dark Dominion.”
The camera
slowly fades to black.
J.R.
Holland (voice-over):
“Let’s take you somewhere you were never meant to see.”
SEGMENT:
“THE THRONE SPEAKS”
Location:
Count Vlad’s Private Office / Throne Chamber
The camera
fades in on torchlight and stone.
Vlad’s
office is less an office and more a throne room — gothic, severe, lit by
cold firelight. At the far end, Count Vlad sits in his high-backed,
throne-like chair.
Arrayed
before him in a half-circle:
- Beastfang
- Hell’s Fang – The Morningstar
- Dr. Red Fang
- Nightfang
- Bloodfang
- Shadowfang
- Azrael
- Selena Blackfang
- Talia Nocturne
They are
silent. Waiting.
The camera
slowly tracks behind them toward Vlad.
Vlad rests one hand on the arm of the
throne.
Count Vlad
(calm, precise):
“While you guarded my kingdom… I went looking for rot.”
He lets
that hang.
Vlad:
“Austria. Geneva. Places where men whisper about control and pretend it is
faith. Where influence is not wielded with a blade… but with a breath.”
Some of
the Dominion exchange looks.
Vlad:
“There is a man who believes the world can be tuned. That minds can be guided
by sound, by suggestion, by repetition. They call his work… the Whisper.”
A pause.
Vlad:
“He is not failing.”
He leans
forward slightly.
Vlad:
“He is being answered.”
That lands
heavier.
Vlad:
“And someone else… someone who fancies himself a grand architect… has left
fingerprints on every disruption.”
He does
not say Arden’s name.
He does
not need to.
Vlad:
“I do not yet care who thinks they can interfere with my designs. Only that
they have announced themselves.”
Vlad’s
eyes shift — sharper now.
Vlad:
“I watched Jack Lumber challenge for the Convergent Championship.”
A few of
the Dominion smirk. The sting of his “betrayal”
still fresh in their minds.
Vlad:
“He fought bravely. He fought honorably. And he failed.”
He sits
back.
Vlad:
“If this is the finest sword HCW can raise… and it still cannot cut down Van
Helsing… then the task does not belong to them.”
His gaze
moves across the room.
Vlad:
“It belongs to us.”
Dominion
Reacts (Silent Character Beats)
- Beastfang nods once — eager.
- The Morningstar smiles faintly.
- Dr. Red Fang folds his hands, thoughtful.
- Bloodfang looks pleased.
- Nightfang and Shadowfang remain
statues.
- Azrael tilts his head, listening.
- Selena Blackfang watches Vlad closely,
calculating.
- Talia Nocturne’s eyes burn with ambition.
Vlad:
“The world is beginning to move again. Pieces are being placed. Voices are
being raised in places they should not be heard.”
He stands.
Vlad:
“Let them whisper. Let them plot. Let them hope.”
A thin
smile.
Vlad:
“We will take something they cannot ignore.”
He steps
down from the throne.
Vlad:
“The Convergent Championship will not remain outside our grasp.”
He looks
at them all.
Vlad:
“Prepare.”
The
Dominion does not speak.
They
simply bow their heads.
The feed
returns to the arena. The crowd noise swells back in. J.R. Holland and Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus are seated at the desk, both noticeably more serious.
J.R.
Holland:
“That wasn’t a speech, C.K. That was a strategic briefing.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Yeah. That was a general telling his army that the next campaign has already
started.”
J.R.
Holland:
“Count Vlad just confirmed three things: he’s been looking beyond HCW, he’s
found forces moving in the shadows… and now he’s turned his full attention back
to championships.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And not just any championship. The Convergent Title. The one symbol that says
you don’t just rule a company — you stand above the entire landscape.”
J.R.
Holland:
“He watched Jack Lumber fail. And in his mind… that means HCW failed.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And if the Dark Dominion is ‘preparing’ like he says they are?”
C.K.
shakes his head.
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Then somebody in this company is about to pay for it.”
J.R.
Holland:
“And judging by the schedule tonight… that reckoning may already be starting.”
Camera
slowly pushes in on the desk.
J.R.
Holland:
“Let’s get to our first match.”
The lights
dim slightly as the Shockwave logo pulses on the big screen.
J.R.
Holland:
“Our opening contest tonight is about more than a win or a loss. This is about
what Count Vlad set into motion earlier tonight.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And Jax Brenner just happens to be standing directly in the path of it.”
The arena
lights drop into a deep, blood-red hue. A low, ritualistic war chant begins to
echo through the building as smoke rolls across the stage.
A massive,
horned silhouette appears on the screen.
Shadowfang
steps out onto the stage, slow and deliberate, eyes fixed on the ring. His
armor glints under the lights, his expression carved from stone.
A few
steps behind him, emerging from the shadows like a dark king surveying his
domain, is Count Vlad.
Vlad does
not look at the crowd. He does not acknowledge the camera. His attention is
solely on the ring.
They walk
together to ringside. Vlad stops at the foot of the ramp, folds his hands
behind his back, and watches as Shadowfang climbs into the ring and turns
toward the entrance, unmoving.
J.R.
Holland:
“Shadowfang doesn’t walk like a man heading into a match. He walks like
something being unleashed.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And Count Vlad looks very interested in seeing just how much damage his
creation can do.”
Tony
Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall!”
Boos rain
down from the crowd.
Tony
Calibur:
“Introducing first… from the Dark Dominion… accompanied to the ring by Count
Vlad… SHADOWFANG!”
Shadowfang
does not react. He simply stares down the ramp.
The lights
shift to a colder, rugged blue-and-white tone. A pounding, primal drumbeat hits
as the screen shows mountains and snowfields.
Jax
Brenner bursts through the curtain, slapping his chest and pumping his fist,
drawing a strong reaction from the Greenville crowd.
Right
behind him is Molly Mason, focused and supportive, giving Jax a
reassuring nod.
Jax walks
the ramp with purpose, never taking his eyes off the ring. He pauses at
ringside, looks up at Shadowfang, then climbs onto the apron and steps between
the ropes.
Molly
stays at ringside, watching him with quiet concern.
J.R.
Holland:
“Jax Brenner doesn’t back down from monsters. He’s built his entire career on
walking straight into the storm.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Yeah, but this storm has a name… and it answers to Count Vlad.”
Tony
Calibur:
“And his opponent… accompanied to the ring by Molly Mason… from the
Alaskan wilderness… THE ALASKAN WILDMAN… JAX BRENNER!”
The crowd
cheers as Jax climbs the turnbuckle and throws a fist into the air.
The
referee calls for both men to step forward. Shadowfang doesn’t blink. Jax
doesn’t flinch.
Count Vlad
slowly removes his gloves at ringside.
J.R.
Holland:
“Count Vlad said earlier tonight that they were going to ‘take something no one
could ignore.’”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Jax Brenner might be the first message.”
The
referee signals for the bell.
🔔 DING DING DING
From the
opening bell, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a sprint — it was going to
be a siege.
Shadowfang
immediately tried to impose his will with heavy suplexes and grinding power,
folding Jax Brenner in half with a snap suplex and then a brutal Transylvania
Suplex that rattled the ring.
J.R.
Holland:
“Shadowfang is not here to outwrestle Jax Brenner. He’s here to break him down
piece by piece.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And that’s exactly the kind of fight Count Vlad wants — slow, punishing, and
hopeless.”
Jax
weathered the storm and began firing back with towering suplexes and his first
Bigfoot Bomb, nearly shaking the building. Each time he built momentum,
Shadowfang answered with something vicious — a Flying Headbutt Drop, a Reaper’s
Scythe, or another spine-jarring pumphandle slam.
As the
match wore on, it became a war of attrition. Jax landed The Pickaxe. Shadowfang
answered with the Reaper’s Scythe. Jax roared back with the Sasquatch Squeeze.
Shadowfang kept dragging him back into deep water.
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“This has stopped being a wrestling match. This is a test of who can suffer
longer.”
J.R.
Holland:
“And Jax Brenner is proving he can suffer with anyone alive.”
At
ringside, Molly Mason became a factor — encouraging Jax, warning the
referee about Shadowfang’s tactics, and repeatedly pulling the crowd into the
fight. Each time Jax looked like he might fade, he’d glance to ringside and
find her there, urging him forward.
Then came
the turning point.
With Jax
reeling, Count Vlad calmly stepped closer to the apron and created just
enough of a distraction for Shadowfang to capitalize. Shadowfang surged
forward, trapping Jax in a devastating sequence that left him stuck on defense
for several long, terrifying moments.
J.R.
Holland:
“There it is. That’s the hand of Count Vlad on this match.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“He doesn’t need to throw a punch. He just changes the outcome with a gesture.”
Shadowfang
hammered Jax with consecutive Transylvania Suplexes and a Reaper’s Scythe,
nearly ending it. But Jax refused to stay down. He fought back with a forearm
bludgeon, then another towering suplex, dragging himself back into the fight to
the roar of the crowd.
The final
stretch was chaos.
Jax hit
the Sasquatch Stomp and nearly scored the victory. Shadowfang survived.
Jax hit a
Bigfoot Bomb. Shadowfang survived.
Shadowfang
tried to end it with the Shadow Strike — Jax reversed it.
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“He’s running on instinct now. Pure survival.”
J.R.
Holland:
“And somehow, it’s enough.”
With both
men exhausted and the clock clearly becoming a factor, Jax dug deep, muscled
Shadowfang up, and slammed him to the mat with a desperate bodyslam.
ONE.
TWO.
THREE.
Jax
Brenner wins.
The arena
exploded.
J.R.
Holland:
“He did it! He survived Shadowfang! He survived Count Vlad!”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“But look at Vlad… that’s not the face of a man who feels like he’s lost
anything.”
Before Jax
could even get to his knees…
HELL’S
FANG – THE MORNINGSTAR
stormed down to the ring.
Molly
screamed a warning, but it was too late.
The
Hardcore Champion slid in and obliterated Jax Brenner — clubbing him
from behind, smashing him to the mat, and unleashing a merciless, methodical
beating.
Shadowfang
slowly rolled out of the ring.
Count Vlad
stepped closer.
He
watched.
And he smiled.
J.R.
Holland:
“This is the real plan. This was always the real plan.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Jax Brenner was never the target. He was the example.”
The
Morningstar stood over Jax like an executioner as officials and medics rushed
the ring. Molly Mason slid in, desperately trying to shield Jax, checking on
him as the medics tried to help.
Jax shoved
them away.
Slowly,
painfully, he pulled himself up to one knee… and glared up the ramp.
At The
Morningstar.
At Shadowfang.
At Count Vlad.
The Dark
Dominion disappeared behind the curtain together.
Molly
stayed with Jax in the ring as the crowd roared in support.
J.R.
Holland:
“Count Vlad said tonight that they were going to take something no one could
ignore.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“I think Jax Brenner just learned what that means.”
SEGMENT:
“NO ONE WILL TAKE THE CASE”
The camera
cuts away from the ring and the wreckage of Jax Brenner to a quiet,
sterile-looking hallway in the arena. A lower-third graphic reads: Earlier
Today.
Mr. X is
standing near a production office door, still in his gear, still masked,
pacing.
He’s
holding a folder stuffed with papers.
Mr. X
(muttering to himself):
“This is open and shut. Open and shut.”
He knocks
on the door.
A
production assistant opens it just a crack.
Production
Assistant:
“They said they’re not interested.”
Mr. X:
“…They haven’t even heard it.”
Production
Assistant:
“They said they have heard it. From three other people.”
The door
closes.
Mr. X
exhales sharply, then storms down the hallway and pulls out his phone.
📞 CALL #1
Mr. X:
“Yeah, hi, this is Mr. X. I’m calling about representation. Wrongful
suspension. Conspiracy. Breach of contract.”
Pause.
His
expression darkens under the mask.
Mr. X:
“Conflict of interest? How do you have a conflict of interest, you’ve never
even met me—”
Click.
He looks
at the phone.
📞 CALL #2
Mr. X:
“I don’t need a big firm. I need someone with a spine.”
Pause.
Mr. X:
“…They threatened you? Who is ‘they’?”
Click.
📞 CALL #3 (THE LAST ONE)
Mr. X:
“Listen. This is HCW. This is real money. Real exposure. You win this case,
you’re a hero.”
Long
pause.
He slowly
lowers the phone.
Mr. X
(quietly):
“…You won’t even return my calls.”
The call
ends.
He stares
at the phone for a long moment.
Then he
shoves it into his pocket.
A staffer
walks by.
Staffer
(awkward):
“Uh… good luck.”
Mr. X
doesn’t respond.
He just
tightens his grip on the folder until the papers crinkle.
Mr. X:
“No one wants the case…”
He looks
up at the camera.
Mr. X:
“…because no one wants the fight.”
He turns
and walks off down the hallway alone.
CUT
BACK TO COMMENTARY
J.R.
Holland:
“That’s… not the reaction of a man who’s bluffing.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“No. That’s the reaction of someone who’s just realized he’s on his own.”
J.R.
Holland:
“And in this company right now… that might be the worst place to be.”
J.R.
Holland:
“After what we just witnessed to open the show, HCW Shockwave badly needs a
change of pace.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And it might get one… but knowing TNT, it won’t get a pleasant one.”
The lights
snap to harsh reds and yellows as a jagged, industrial theme blasts through the
arena.
The screen
flashes warning symbols, static, and distorted hazard stripes.
TNT steps
through the curtain with a smug, arrogant scowl, soaking in the boos. He
spreads his arms wide like he’s inviting the hatred, then slowly makes his way
down the ramp, jawing at fans in the front row.
He stops
at ringside, wipes his boots on the apron deliberately, and climbs into the
ring. He paces like a caged animal, then leans back against the ropes, waiting.
J.R.
Holland:
“TNT never met a crowd he didn’t enjoy antagonizing.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“He treats contempt like fuel.”
Tony
Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall!”
Loud boos.
Tony
Calibur:
“Introducing first… from the bad side of the tracks… TNT!”
TNT raises
one hand mockingly and shouts something at the camera that gets censored by the
crowd’s noise.
The lights
shift to a brighter, warmer green-and-gold tone. A lively, energetic theme hits
as the screen fills with bold, colorful patterns.
The crowd
gives a curious but warm reaction as Clover Fincastle steps onto the
stage, smiling, confident, and clearly taking in the moment.
He pauses
at the top of the ramp, nods to himiself, then heads to the ring with a
purposeful stride.
He slaps a
few hands at ringside, slides under the bottom rope, and pops to his feet,
climbing the turnbuckle and throwing his arms up to a solid cheer.
J.R.
Holland:
“This is a big moment. First impressions matter.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And unfortunately for Clover Fincastle… he’s making that first impression
against this guy.”
Tony
Calibur:
“And her opponent… making his HCW debut… CLOVER FINCASTLE!”
The crowd
applauds as Clover steps down and turns to face TNT.
TNT steps
forward, jawing at him. Clover doesn’t back down.
The
referee moves between them and signals for the bell.
J.R.
Holland:
“Different styles. Different mentalities. Different worlds.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And only one of them gets to leave with their hand raised.”
DING
DING DING
This one
started fast and physical, with Clover Fincastle clearly intent on making an
immediate statement in his HCW debut.
Clover
opened with aggressive offense, trying to plant TNT early with a Landslide
Samoan Driver, but TNT showed his experience by neutralizing it and immediately
turning the tables with sharp strikes and positioning.
J.R.
Holland:
“You can see the nerves — Clover wants to make an impression right away.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And TNT is more than happy to punish that impatience.”
The pace
picked up quickly. Clover connected with a vicious double underhook piledriver,
but TNT fired right back with a flying dropkick and then drilled him with the
Townsend Driver, showing exactly why he’s so dangerous when he gets control.
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“That’s TNT at his best — simple, brutal, and right to the point.”
Clover
refused to be shaken. He answered with sharp kicks and a crushing ax kick, then
followed with a German suplex that snapped TNT to the mat. The two men traded
heavy shots in the center of the ring, neither willing to give ground.
J.R.
Holland:
“This is turning into a real test of who can impose their will first.”
The fight
spilled to the apron briefly, where both men took risks — TNT catching Clover
with another flying dropkick that sent himself tumbling to the floor, only to
scramble back in before the count could get dangerous.
Back
inside, Clover changed tactics.
He grabbed
TNT, dragged him to the mat, and locked in the Shining Triangle Choke.
TNT
struggled. He tried to power out. He tried to shift his weight.
He
couldn’t.
With
nowhere to go and no escape, TNT was forced to tap out.
Clover
Fincastle wins by submission.
J.R.
Holland:
“That’s a statement. That’s not just a win — that’s a message.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“He didn’t just beat TNT. He made him give up.”
Clover
released the hold and rose to his feet, clearly exhausted but victorious, as
the Greenville crowd gave him a strong ovation for an impressive HCW debut.
J.R.
Holland:
“If this is what Clover Fincastle looks like on night one…”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“…then somebody in the back should already be paying attention.”
BACKSTAGE
INTERVIEW
Interview: Candace Hart with Colonel
Samuel Flagg
The camera
cuts backstage. Candace Hart stands in front of the HCW backdrop,
microphone in hand.
Candace
Hart:
“Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time. He is the
challenger in tonight’s main event for the HCW World Championship… Colonel
Samuel Flagg.”
Colonel
Samuel Flagg steps into frame. He’s in full military regalia, chest out,
sunglasses on, posture rigid. He does not smile. He scans the hallway behind
the camera before finally facing Candace.
Colonel
Flagg:
“Ma’am, I want it noted for the official record that I arrived thirty minutes
early, conducted a full perimeter sweep, and found at least three
suspicious-looking light fixtures.”
He points
off-camera.
Colonel
Flagg:
“That one is blinking in Morse code. Don’t tell me it isn’t.”
Candace
Hart (keeping
a straight face):
“Colonel, tonight you challenge Zack Brown for the HCW World
Championship. This is the biggest match of your HCW career. How are you feeling
heading into the main event?”
Colonel
Flagg:
“How am I feeling?”
He
straightens his jacket and taps the dog tags on his chest.
“I feel like a man walking into enemy
territory with the full weight of destiny, democracy, and good old-fashioned
discipline on his shoulders.”
He leans
closer to the camera.
“Zack Brown is a sad excuse for a soldier. Coward.
Sissy. But his so called bravery without vigilance is how empires fall.”
He lowers
his voice.
“And make no mistake… this building is crawling
with hostile influences.”
Candace
Hart:
“Hostile influences?”
Colonel
Flagg:
“Oh yes. I’ve seen the signs. Tampered water fountains. Questionable extension
cords. A man in catering who asked me if I wanted ‘still or sparkling.’”
He shakes
his head.
“That’s how it starts.”
Candace
blinks, then pushes on.
Candace
Hart:
“Colonel, do you believe you can defeat Zack Brown and become the HCW World
Champion tonight?”
Colonel
Flagg:
“Believe?”
He squares
his shoulders.
“Ma’am, I don’t believe. I execute
objectives.”
“Objective one: neutralize Zack Brown.”
“Objective two: secure the HCW World Championship.”
“Objective three: expose whatever shadow organization is clearly operating out
of the production truck.”
He points
directly at the camera.
Colonel
Flagg:
“And I know you’re listening.”
Candace
Hart:
“Zack Brown has said he has no respect for you… and is confident you can’t keep
up with him in the ring.”
Colonel
Flagg:
“Classic misdirection.”
He nods
slowly.
“Zack Brown fights like a hero. I fight like a
man who’s read the declassified documents.”
He steps
closer to Candace.
“I don’t need to outrun him. I just need to
outlast him.”
Candace
Hart:
“Any final words for the champion before tonight’s main event?”
Colonel
Samuel Flagg turns and stares straight into the camera.
Colonel
Flagg:
“Zack Brown… tonight, you are not facing a man.”
He pauses.
Colonel
Flagg:
“You are facing a mission.”
He snaps
to attention.
Colonel
Flagg:
“And missions… always get completed.”
He gives
Candace a sharp, respectful nod, then marches out of frame, still scanning the
hallway for threats.
Candace
Hart:
“Well… there you have it. Colonel Flagg is ready for tonight’s main event.”
Camera
fades out.
Back to
Ringside
J.R.
Holland:
“Colonel Flagg never lacks confidence, but you can hear it in his voice tonight
— he believes this is his moment.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Belief is one thing, J.R., but belief
doesn’t stop monsters. And in the main event, he’s facing exactly that.”
J.R.
Holland:
“Still, you can’t question his resolve. And speaking of resolve… we’re heading
back to the ring for our next contest.”
The lights
brighten and an upbeat, energetic rock anthem hits. The crowd responds
immediately with cheers as Julius Squeezer bursts through the curtain,
slapping hands and pointing toward the ring with a wide, confident grin.
He jogs
down the ramp, stopping halfway to pump his fists and soak in the reaction
before sliding into the ring. Julius hops to the second rope and throws his
arms up, drawing another pop from the crowd.
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Listen to this crowd, J.R. — they love
Julius Squeezer. High energy, high impact, and absolutely fearless.”
J.R.
Holland:
“He knows exactly what he’s walking into tonight, and he doesn’t seem to care
one bit.”
Julius
stretches in the corner, eyes locked on the entrance ramp, his expression
shifting from playful to focused.
The arena
lights suddenly drop.
A low,
ominous chant begins to echo through the building. Red and black lights pulse
as a slow, menacing theme crawls out of the speakers.
A moment
later, Count Vlad steps onto the stage first, calm, composed, and
smiling faintly. He spreads his arms slightly as if presenting what comes next.
Then Hell’s
Fang emerges from the shadows behind him.
The crowd
erupts in boos.
Hell’s
Fang stands still for a moment, staring straight at the ring, then begins a
slow, deliberate walk down the ramp. Vlad follows a step behind, never taking
his eyes off Julius Squeezer.
J.R.
Holland:
“And here comes the nightmare.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Every time Hell’s Fang walks to the
ring, it feels less like an entrance and more like an execution.”
At
ringside, Vlad leans in and whispers something to Hell’s Fang, who doesn’t
react — he simply steps up onto the apron and over the ropes.
Inside the
ring, Hell’s Fang and Julius Squeezer lock eyes.
The
referee checks both competitors as the tension becomes almost unbearable.
J.R.
Holland:
“This is a massive test for Julius Squeezer even if it’s a non-title match.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And a routine night at the office for
Hell’s Fang.”
They lock
up in the center of the ring—power against power—neither man giving an inch.
Julius
Squeezer
shoves Hell’s Fang – The Morningstar back a step, then steps in again
and wraps his arms around him—
Julius
Squeezer cinches in the GORILLA SQUEEZE!
The
Morningstar’s arms are trapped. His ribs are being crushed inward as Julius
Squeezer squeezes with everything he has.
J.R.
Holland:
“That’s
the Gorilla Squeeze! He’s trying to break him in half!”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“That kind
of pressure can end a match fast!”
Hell’s
Fang – The Morningstar
struggles, trying to pry free, but he’s being compressed in the center of
the ring, his face twisting behind the mask as the air is driven out of
him.
He finally
manages to stumble backward and slip out of the hold, gasping—
But he’s
clearly shaken.
The
Morningstar staggers back to his feet, clearly rattled. Julius Squeezer
presses forward, but before he can capitalize—
COUNT
VLAD steps up
onto the apron.
‘Honest’
Abe turns to
warn him—
And COUNT
VLAD SHOVES THE REFEREE.
The arena
explodes with boos.
DING!
DING! DING!
The
referee immediately calls for the bell.
Tony
Calibur:
“Your
winner… by disqualification… JULIUS SQUEEZER!”
J.R.
Holland:
“Vlad just
cost his own man the match!”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“But look
out—this isn’t over.”
Before Hell’s
Fang – The Morningstar can even react—
JAX
BRENNER HITS THE RING.
The crowd
ROARS.
Jax
Brenner storms
in and BLASTS THE MORNINGSTAR WITH A FOREARM, then another, then drives
him back with brutal, angry strikes. He hauls him up and SLAMS HIM TO THE
MAT, raining down fists with months of frustration behind every blow.
J.R.
Holland:
“Jax
Brenner is unloading everything he’s been holding back!”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“This is
payback!”
Count
Vlad rushes
in, shouting, and grabs Hell’s Fang – The Morningstar, pulling him out
of the ring before things get even worse. The two retreat up the ramp, Vlad
sneering back at the ring while the Morningstar clutches his ribs.
Inside the
ring, Jax Brenner turns and looks at Julius Squeezer.
He nods.
Then raises
Julius’ arm in victory.
The crowd
applauds as Jax Brenner drops the arm and leaves the ring, never taking
his eyes off the ramp.
Julius
Squeezer
stands tall for a moment, then exits as well, leaving the message hanging in
the air:
The war
with the Dark Dominion is far from over.
The camera
cuts back to the desk where J.R. Holland and Clarkus “C.K.” Kentus
are watching replays of Jax Brenner tearing into Hell’s Fang – The
Morningstar.
J.R.
Holland:
“Look at this again. This wasn’t about winning or losing anymore. This was
personal.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Jax Brenner didn’t come out here to make a statement. He came out here to
settle a debt.”
J.R.
Holland:
“And if Count Vlad hadn’t dragged the Morningstar out of there, I don’t know
how much worse that would’ve gotten.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“This rivalry is burning hotter by the week. You can feel it slipping out of
anyone’s control.”
Another
replay shows Count Vlad pulling The Morningstar up the ramp while
Jax Brenner stands in the ring, chest heaving, eyes full of fury.
J.R.
Holland:
“One thing is certain — Jax Brenner is not done with the Dark Dominion. Not by
a long shot.”
The camera
comes back to the desk live.
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“But J.R., while we’re talking about the future… we’ve got something big coming
up this Saturday on Live Wire.”
J.R.
Holland:
“That’s right. The debut of Jett Sterling.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“One of the most talked-about prospects in recent memory. Explosive. Fearless.
And already surrounded by a lot of interest.”
J.R.
Holland:
“The big question isn’t just how he performs in his first match. It’s who he
aligns himself with.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Does he go with Ruth Heartless and the Million Dollar Alliance? Does Julian
Furnace convince him that Hot Stuff Inc. is the right place to be?”
J.R.
Holland:
“Or does Jett Sterling decide he doesn’t need anyone at all… and chooses to fly
solo?”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“However he answers that question, it’s going to shape the start of his entire
HCW career.”
J.R.
Holland:
“And we’ll find out this Saturday, January 24th, on Live Wire.”
J.R.
Holland:
“But right now, Shockwave rolls on.”
CUT TO ARENA
Upbeat,
flashy music hits.
Jett
Sterling steps
out in sunglasses and an expensive jacket, phone in hand, clearly filming
himself as he walks onto the stage.
He stops
at the top of the ramp, turns the camera toward himself, then toward the crowd.
Jett
Sterling:
“Okay, okay, okay—first of all, relax. I know. I know. Everybody’s talking
about it.”
He
gestures toward the screen.
Jett
Sterling:
“‘Jett, are you going with Ruth Heartless?’
‘Jett, are you signing with Julian Furnace?’
‘Jett, who are you choosing? What’s the big decision?’”
He smirks.
Jett
Sterling:
“And I just wanna say… I love how invested you all are in my life.”
Mixed
crowd reaction.
Jett
Sterling:
“Because whether you like it or not… I’m not just a wrestler.”
He points
to himself.
Jett
Sterling:
“I’m a brand. I’m a movement. I’m an internet sensation.”
He holds
up his phone.
Jett
Sterling:
“So I thought… why should I decide this alone?”
The screen
suddenly changes to a big, ridiculous, flashy graphic:
CALL NOW: 1-900-I-AM-JETT
“Your voice matters. Standard rates apply.”
The crowd
starts booing and laughing.
Jett
Sterling:
“That’s right. You can call. You can vote. You can tell me what you think I
should do.”
He nods
seriously.
Jett
Sterling:
“And yeah… it costs a little money.”
Shrugs.
Jett
Sterling:
“But that’s because premium opinions come from premium people.”
More boos.
Jett
Sterling:
“Some of you spend money on coffee. Some of you spend money on merch.”
He grins.
Jett
Sterling:
“You’re just spending money on me.”
He starts
pacing.
Jett
Sterling:
“So call the number. Tell me if I should go with Ruth. Tell me if I should go
with Julian.”
He stops
and looks directly into the hard camera.
Jett
Sterling:
“Or tell me… that I should stay independent… and keep flying higher than
everybody else in this building.”
Beat.
Jett
Sterling:
“Because at the end of the day, this isn’t your decision.”
Another
beat.
Jett
Sterling:
“But you are gonna pay to be part of it.”
He winks.
Jett
Sterling:
“Welcome to the Jett Sterling era.”
He holds
the phone up like he’s filming himself and walks back up the ramp.
J.R.
Holland:
“I… can’t believe that’s a real sentence we just heard.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Oh, I believe it. That’s not a wrestler. That’s a walking pop-up ad.”
J.R.
Holland:
“And I’m pretty sure he just found a way to turn his own career decisions into
a revenue stream.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“I hate how much sense that makes.”
The camera
returns to the desk.
J.R.
Holland:
“Well, whether you love him or hate him, Jett Sterling certainly knows how to
keep the spotlight on himself.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And this place is full of people who’d love to see him try to back all of that
up. But for right now, J.R., we’re shifting gears — because our next match has serious
championship implications, even if the title itself isn’t on the line.”
J.R.
Holland:
“That’s right. The Empress Champion is in action next… and wherever
Count Vlad goes, the stakes always seem to rise.”
The arena
lights fall into cold purples and deep reds. A slow, ominous theme echoes
through the building as fog creeps along the stage.
A moment
later, Count Vlad steps onto the stage, hands calmly folded behind his
back, surveying the arena like a monarch inspecting his domain.
Then,
emerging from the shadows behind him, Grizelda steps forward — the Empress
Championship gleaming around her waist.
The crowd
showers her with boos.
She does
not react.
She does
not pose.
She simply
stares at the ring.
Vlad
gestures subtly, and Grizelda begins her march to the ring, unhurried,
implacable, unstoppable. At ringside, Vlad takes his place, while Grizelda
steps onto the apron, wipes her boots, and steps through the ropes.
She raises
the title just once.
Then hands
it to Count Vlad.
J.R.
Holland:
“The Empress Champion does not look like she’s here to impress anyone. She
looks like she’s here to end something.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And with Count Vlad in her corner, that’s never a comforting thought for the
other side.”
Tony
Calibur:
“Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall!”
Boos rain
down.
Tony
Calibur:
“Introducing first… accompanied to the ring by Count Vlad… she is the Dark
Dominion Empress … GRIZELDA!”
Grizelda
remains stone-faced in her corner.
The
lighting shifts to bright whites and golds. A confident, glamorous theme hits
as the screen fills with diamond-like flashes.
Ashley
“Diamond” Summers
steps onto the stage, poised and confident, a faint smirk on her face.
A step
behind her is Ruth Heartless, cool, composed, already studying Grizelda
like a chessboard.
Ashley
pauses at the top of the ramp, blows a kiss to the crowd, then walks toward the
ring with purpose. The fans shower her
with boos.
At
ringside, Ruth gives Ashley a final word of advice before taking her place
outside.
Ashley
slides into the ring, stands, and locks eyes with Grizelda.
J.R.
Holland:
“Ashley Summers believes she belongs on the biggest stages. Tonight is her
chance to prove it.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And she’s doing it against the most dominant woman in this company… with two
of the most dangerous minds in HCW standing on the floor.”
Tony
Calibur:
“And her opponent… accompanied to the ring by Ruth Heartless… ASHLEY
‘DIAMOND’ SUMMERS!”
Ashley
steps forward. Grizelda does not move.
The
referee checks both competitors.
J.R.
Holland:
“This is not just a match. This is a measuring stick.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And if Ashley Summers can hang with Grizelda, the entire women’s division is
going to have to take notice.”
The
referee signals for the bell.
DING
DING DING
From the
opening bell, Grizelda wrestles like a monarch reclaiming her throne,
snapping Ashley down with vicious hair-pull takedowns and driving her into the
mat with ruthless precision.
J.R.
Holland:
“Grizelda is not just wrestling here — she’s making a statement.”
Ashley
finds moments of offense — a standing moonsault, a Queen’s Boot, a High Angle
Crab — but every time she builds momentum, Grizelda answers with something
heavier, something meaner.
The
turning point comes when Grizelda plants Ashley with the Enchanted Ending
(sit-out piledriver) in the center of the ring.
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“That should’ve been it. That should’ve been the match.”
The crowd
is buzzing — it feels like the Empress is seconds away from finishing this.
Then chaos
erupts.
Suddenly, Ruby
Howl and Scarlett Howl appear at ringside.
They don’t
attack — they don’t touch anyone — but they make sure they’re seen.
They
shout. They gesture. They taunt.
Grizelda’s
attention snaps to the outside.
Count Vlad
is immediately on the apron, shouting at the referee, pointing at them, barking
orders.
J.R.
Holland:
“What are they doing out here?! This has nothing to do with them!”
In the
confusion, Ashley lunges forward and desperately hurls Grizelda out of the
ring.
Not a
triumph.
Not a dominance move.
A panic shove.
Grizelda
hits the floor on her feet — furious — and turns toward Ruby and Scarlett.
They
backpedal.
They
smirk.
They keep
talking.
Referee ‘Honest’
Abe starts the count.
Ruth Heartless
confronts Count Vlad to keep him preoccupied.
Grizelda
takes a step toward the ring… then another look at the Howls.
They keep
jawing.
They keep
gesturing.
They keep
her attention just long enough.
7…
8…
9…
10…
Bell
rings.
Count-out.
Ashley
“Diamond” Summers wins.
The crowd boos.
Grizelda
whips around, realizing what just happened — and explodes in fury.
Count Vlad
is livid but composed. He glares at Ruth
who smiles and walks away
Ashley is
already retreating to the ropes, wide-eyed, shocked, and very aware she just
escaped.
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Grizelda was about to win this match. And it just got stolen from her.”
J.R.
Holland:
“This is not a victory you brag about. This is a survival.”
Ruby and
Scarlett disappear into the crowd. The
fans pop for Ruby and Scarlett.
Grizelda
stands outside the ring, seething, staring daggers through Ashley and
Ruth Heartless.
Count Vlad
places a hand on her shoulder… and slowly guides her away, his expression
cold with calculation.
J.R.
Holland:
“That’s going to be debated for a long time. Grizelda didn’t lose that match —
it was taken from her.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“When you need two separate distractions to survive someone, that tells you
exactly who the real threat is. This is not over. Not even close.”
J.R.
Holland:
“And something tells me Count Vlad is not the kind of man who just lets
something like that go.”
The camera
holds on Grizelda and Count Vlad one last time at the top of the ramp — both
seething — before the feed cuts.
BACKSTAGE
We cut to
the backstage interview area where Candace Hart is standing by with the HCW
World Champion, Zack Brown, ready to talk about tonight’s main event…
The camera
cuts to the backstage interview area where Candace Hart stands with a
microphone in hand. Beside her is the HCW World Champion, Zack “The
Commando” Brown, the championship belt fastened proudly around his waist.
Zack’s expression is calm, focused, and intense.
Candace
Hart:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with the reigning HCW World Champion, Zack
‘The Commando’ Brown. Zack, in just a little while, you defend that title
tonight against Colonel Samuel Flagg. With everything that’s been
happening in HCW lately—chaos, interference, and the Dark Dominion casting a
long shadow—how are you approaching tonight’s main event?”
Zack
adjusts the title on his waist and looks straight into the camera.
Zack
“The Commando” Brown:
“Candace, tonight isn’t about the noise. It isn’t about the rumors. It isn’t
about shadows or schemes.”
He taps
the faceplate of the championship.
Zack
“The Commando” Brown:
“Tonight is about Colonel Samuel Flagg.”
Zack’s
expression hardens.
Zack
“The Commando” Brown:
“He’s unpredictable. He’s dangerous. And he lives in a world where everyone
else is the enemy. But I live in a world where there’s only one thing that
matters—this ring, this title, and the man standing across from me.”
Candace
Hart:
“Colonel Flagg is… let’s say, unconventional. Some would even say unstable.
Does that change how you prepare?”
Zack
shakes his head slightly.
Zack
“The Commando” Brown:
“No. Because crazy, brilliant, paranoid, or disciplined—it all ends the same
way. When that bell rings, none of that matters. All that matters is who can
fight longer, who can take more, and who refuses to stay down.”
He leans
slightly toward the camera.
Zack
“The Commando” Brown:
“Colonel Flagg can talk about conspiracies. He can see enemies in every corner
of the room. But tonight? The only enemy he needs to worry about… is me.”
Candace
Hart:
“And beyond tonight, the Dark Dominion, Count Vlad, and everyone else seems to
be circling this championship. Do you feel like you’re being hunted?”
Zack
smirks.
Zack
“The Commando” Brown:
“If you’re the World Champion, you’re always being hunted. That’s the job.”
He pats
the belt.
Zack
“The Commando” Brown:
“But before anyone else even thinks about stepping up—Colonel Flagg gets his
shot. And when tonight is over, this title is still coming back with me.”
Zack looks
directly into the camera.
Zack
“The Commando” Brown:
“Colonel Flagg… report to the ring. Because your mission tonight is simple.”
Beat.
Zack
“The Commando” Brown:
“Try to take this from me.”
Candace
Hart:
“Zack ‘The Commando’ Brown, the HCW World Champion, defending tonight against
Colonel Samuel Flagg. Back to you at ringside.”
The camera
fades as Zack adjusts the championship and walks off with focused intensity.
[BACK
TO RINGSIDE]
The camera
cuts back to the commentary desk where J.R. Holland and Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus are standing by as the crowd buzzes in anticipation.
J.R.
Holland:
“Strong words from the World Champion. Zack ‘The Commando’ Brown knows exactly
what kind of chaos he’s walking into tonight.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Colonel Flagg isn’t just unpredictable, J.R. — he’s volatile. He doesn’t think
like a normal competitor. He doesn’t prepare like one either. And that makes
him dangerous.”
J.R.
Holland:
“But Zack Brown has made a career out of standing his ground against dangerous
men. Tonight, the HCW World Championship is on the line.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And with everything going on in HCW lately — the Dark Dominion, the unrest,
the shifting power — this might be the most important defense of his reign so
far.”
J.R.
Holland:
“Ladies and gentlemen… it is time for our main event.”
The arena
lights drop to an ominous, sickly hue as a harsh, militaristic siren blares
through the sound system.
The screen
fills with distorted warning symbols, flickering static, and scrambled
“CLASSIFIED” stamps.
J.R.
Holland:
“Oh no… here he comes.”
Colonel
Samuel Flagg marches onto the stage in full paranoid pageantry, eyes darting,
posture rigid, muttering to himself as he scans the crowd like he’s walking
into hostile territory.
He points
accusingly at fans near the ramp, shouting unheard accusations, then snaps to
attention and gives a crooked, aggressive salute.
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“This man doesn’t just think he’s in enemy territory. He knows it.”
Flagg
storms down the ramp, stops abruptly, turns, and stares back up the aisle as if
expecting an ambush. Only then does he slide into the ring, immediately pacing
like a caged animal, shouting at the referee and pointing at the hard camera.
J.R.
Holland:
“Colonel Flagg believes everyone is a threat. Tonight, he believes that
championship belongs to him.”
Flagg
climbs a corner turnbuckle and raises a clenched fist, screaming something
about traitors and conspiracies as the crowd rains down boos.
The lights
shift.
A
powerful, heroic theme hits.
The crowd erupts.
Gold and
white lights sweep across the arena as Zack “The Commando” Brown steps
out onto the stage, the HCW World Championship strapped proudly around
his waist.
J.R.
Holland:
“And here comes the champion!”
Zack
pauses at the top of the ramp, soaking in the reaction, then looks down at the
title… and then straight at the ring.
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“This is a man who does not back down. Not from monsters. Not from madmen. Not
from anyone.”
Zack walks
with calm, controlled confidence toward the ring, slapping hands with fans
along the way, never taking his eyes off Flagg.
He steps
into the ring, climbs the turnbuckle, and raises the championship high as the
crowd roars.
J.R.
Holland:
“Zack ‘The Commando’ Brown has carried this company on his back. Tonight, he
faces one of the most unhinged challengers in HCW history.”
Zack steps
down, unfastens the belt, and hands it to the referee, never breaking eye
contact with Flagg.
Flagg is
shouting. Zack is calm.
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Two very different kinds of warriors. One title. One ring.”
J.R.
Holland:
“The HCW World Championship… is on the line. It’s next.”
The crowd
is electric as Zack “the Commando” Brown and Col. Samuel Flagg circle
each other in the center of the ring, the HCW World Championship shining under
the lights.
J.R.
Holland:
“This is not just a title defense. This is a psychological battlefield.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“Flagg doesn’t just want to beat the champion. He wants to break him.”
The
opening minutes are tense and physical. Zack strikes first with a Paratrooper
Plunge, but Flagg answers immediately with a sharp Dropkick,
refusing to be intimidated. The challenger begins targeting the back, wrenching
Zack down with a grinding Backbreaker and trying to sap the champion’s
strength early.
J.R.
Holland:
“That’s exactly what Flagg wants — slow, painful damage. He’s trying to
dismantle Zack piece by piece.”
Zack
powers out and fires back with a Backbreaker of his own, but Flagg keeps
the pressure on with stomps, strikes, and another crushing Dropkick. The
two trade heavy offense — Powerbombs, Snap Suplexes, and brutal
strikes echo through the arena.
Flagg
nearly turns the tide when he plants Zack with the Patriotic Inverted Slam.
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“That could be it! That might be the opening Flagg’s been waiting for!”
But the
champion refuses to stay down.
Zack
fights back with a Lawman Lariat, then follows with a Corner Splash
and another punishing Backbreaker, wearing the challenger down. Flagg
continues to strike back with boots and desperation offense, but his attacks
are losing steam.
J.R.
Holland:
“You can see it now — Flagg is still dangerous, but Zack Brown is starting to
take control.”
The pace
quickens. Zack levels Flagg with a Bossman Slam, and the crowd senses
the end is near. Flagg staggers to his feet and charges—
Zack
“the Commando” Brown
explodes forward and cuts him in half with the Lawman Lariat.
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“LAW. MAN. LARIAT! RIGHT ON THE BUTTON!”
Zack hooks
the leg.
One!
Two!
Three!
The bell
rings.
Winner
and STILL HCW World Champion:
Zack
“the Commando” Brown
J.R.
Holland:
“Colonel Samuel Flagg brought the fight. He brought the chaos. But he could not
bring down the champion.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“This is what defines Zack Brown’s reign. He doesn’t escape. He doesn’t
survive. He outlasts.”
Zack rises
slowly, exhausted but victorious, as ‘Honest’ Abe hands him the
championship. He looks down at the title, then raises it high to a roaring
crowd.
[IN THE
RING]
Zack
“the Commando” Brown
stands in the center of the ring, exhausted but victorious, the HCW World
Championship raised high above his head. The crowd is on its feet, cheering
as the referee steps away and Zack climbs the turnbuckle, holding the title
aloft for all sides of the arena.
[BACK
TO COMMENTARY]
J.R.
Holland:
“Colonel Samuel Flagg threw everything he had at the champion tonight. Power,
brutality, mind games — all of it. And in the end, it still wasn’t enough.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“That’s what makes Zack Brown the World Champion. He doesn’t take shortcuts. He
doesn’t look for excuses. He stands in the fire and he outlasts it.”
J.R.
Holland:
“Tonight, Zack ‘the Commando’ Brown proved once again why this is his
ring and his championship.”
Clarkus
“C.K.” Kentus:
“And with everything happening in HCW right now — the Dark Dominion, rising
challengers, and chaos everywhere you look — the target on his back just keeps
getting bigger.”
The camera
cuts back to Zack “the Commando” Brown on the turnbuckle, holding the
championship high as the fans roar.
J.R.
Holland:
“For Clarkus ‘C.K.’ Kentus, I’m J.R. Holland saying thank you for joining us
for HCW Shockwave.”
J.R.
Holland:
“Good night, everyone.”
